Note
I just canât look past what little changes Hucles made in the off-season
Lussi for Merritt was a good move (with bad luck so far)
Waiving SFVG, Cousins, Taylor, Breslin, etc.
Signing Julie Ertz, Amandine Henry has been good. Brining in Katie Johnson (probably as a backup that she has had to rely on more), getting Alyssa Thompson was big.
Idk. It hasn't been nothing that's for sure.
That's more moves than Portland, SD, OL have made I think.

Presenting The Empress of the Trauma Center Major Arcana, Naomi Kimishima! With Alyssa Breslin in her arms. 3: The Empress "The Empress Tarot is the Major Arcana card of femininity and motherhood. It is also one of the strongest pregnancy cards in the Tarot deck. If you are a mother, you will really come into your own and find fulfilment. If you are a father, The Empress encourages you to build on your communication with your children and show them your nurturing side. Even if you are not a parent, when The Empress appears the message is the same, you should embrace your softer side, allow yourself to explore the emotions you are feeling and listen to your intuition. People will be drawn to you, especially those in need of the empathy, compassion and nurturing you are able to provide." (Source: The Tarot Guide) I felt Naomi was the perfect for this when it came to her arc in Trauma Team. Especially in regards to her motherly bond with Alyssa. Sure at first she was a reluctant parent but over time, she grew softer thanks to Alyssa being part of her life. And even before Alyssa, least manga wise, she was nurturing to Derek when it came to understanding his Healing Touch and being his teacher at one point while at Hope Hospital. So, like I said, I thought it was a perfect fit for Naomi. Design wise, not a ton of notes. Naomi has bits and pieces of the Asclepiad garb on her but not all of it, symbolizing how in Trauma Team she isn't practicing surgery anymore, but still show she has a connection with Asclepius with having the sigils gloves and the Healing Touch star circle in the background. Colors are modeled after her outfit during the game. Alyssa being brighter colors to symbolize her innocence. She also has a snake bracelet around her arm to symbolize her connection to Naomi who is wearing a matching band. Then finally, the blue asclepias in the background... for those in the know, I don't think I need to say why those are there. And that's it for this one. Next up... The Emperor. Catch ya later!

Bad Things Happen Bingo! The event where you send me requests according to this marvelous card! (Red cross is the completed prompt, character headshots are prompts Iâve already filled).Â
To what extent would go to save someone else's life?
This prompt was always going to be difficult, but hey, I did manage to come up with an interesting solution to it... or, at least, that's why I'd like to think. I originally planned on having Naomi for "I Should Have Been Better" (as I told Doc multiple times, "what better character for it than Naomi?", but the guy is having the last laugh about this one now, that's for sure). Some soul out there will have recognized the title from somewhere and understood what we're heading for because, yes, this entire story was inspired by the fact I wanted to use this semi-obscure reference as a title. You'll see what I mean later. Anyway, this fic was pretty cool to write, even if, again, I suffer from writing too much build-up because I want to explore a universe I'm probably never going to touch ever again. This is starting to grow into a recurring issue with me, it'd seem. Oh well, if it inspires someone's work, then I'm all good with my penchant for copious amounts of worldbuilding.
Also, Alyssa and Naomi's relationship is wonderful and it's a shame I haven't written it before, what the fuck me.

Summary: When faced with the prospect of her newest companion's potential death, Naomi is ready to put everything on the line... even her life.

Her shoulders bear the weight of her losses â friends she had to leave behind, people whose death she couldnât prevent, companions that never were â yet Naomi has kept moving, trying to shove her past behind her anywhere she walks, as if going through purgatory for eternity.
Her reputation has preceded her for decades, by now: the woman dressed in black with silver hair like the pale moonlight, going from place to place. Nobody knows of her true intent, whether she sides with good or evil, with life or death until they discover she is a healer who was banished from her native region due to some sort of catastrophic event long forgotten by history.
How ironic is that someone whose roots got cut off by a guillotine is still alive and roaming this world when, surely, her supposed people have all died from illness, injury or natural causes by now: it has, after all, been a thousand years since the âCorpse Whispererâ got forced into exile over the supposed curse she bore, the curse which spread an illness she still doesnât have an answer to over towns and villages until it just disappeared with her.
On her travels, she met a lot of people, some of whom travelled with her for a time, some whom she barely got to know.
There was Nathan, a boy who had escaped from a doomsday cult. He was an eager companion, swearing heâd follow her until the end of the world would have she decided so, because she was the first friend he had ever gotten â he died saving her, rather than the other way around, when a spear plunged inside his chest and only came out when his blood had stopped flowing and his skin had turned to clay. She closed his eyes, buried him and marked the grave with white lilac, never to look back again.
There was Ivan, a man barely younger than her supposed age, who wanted to understand her and help her save people with his benevolent magic and overwhelmingly positive intentions. He fought hard against near-death situations, some where she had decided it was better to expect death than survival, but his optimism kept these people alive. She had tot leave him behind after he contracted a lethal disease and he couldnât keep with her, leaving behind the bitter taste of failure, loneliness and uncertainty. She never went back to where their ways parted, afraid to know the inevitable answer as to his whereabouts.
There was Cassandra, a middle-aged woman with a stern face and an inexorable will. Despite all the hardships she had faced in her life, she had always stood back up, without even displaying any sort of pain. She had grown a reputation for her ruthless methods, being ostracized, and travelled with her so she could mend her ways and heal who she could with the apothecary knowledge she had been blessed with during her youth. She drank her own poison so she wouldnât have to surrender in the face of certain defeat, plunging herself in an eternal sleep, while Naomi could only watch, wrists and ankles keeping her from acting, until these dissolved and she could avenge her fallen friend. Cassandraâs breath never went out, so Naomi made her a chamber hidden in a deep, dense forest in a hope that, someday, sheâd find the antidote Cassandra had spilled on the ground.
There was Eglantine, a girl barely in her teens, who went to follow her because her parents had abandoned her and everybody else thought she was cursed because of her unusually pale skin, hair and eyes, thinking she was a stillborn animated by a malevolent spirit. Beneath her skin was an incredible potency, which she didnât dare use until she needed to. Her short life ended in a tragic, senseless sacrifice when she rushed into battle and blocked an enemyâs way so Naomi could run away and âget out aliveâ, as she had screamed before taking an entire group of thieves with her to a certain death. Â
There have been a lot of them, over the centuries, but none of them have been immortals like her. None of them have healing magic as powerful as hers, none of them can endure so much. All of them have promised her to stay with her until she could settle down again, none of them could ever hold these promises, and itâs fine to her: sheâs used to involuntarily broken promises. Sheâs used to the feeble nature of humans, of the uncursed ones.
She has grown more and more hesitant to accept new companions, over time. She tried to be cold towards them, to use her sombre reputation as a deterring agent â but some people are just in need of miseryâs company, even her, and so they stick around until illness, injury, death, love or opportunity split them apart and the cycle continues. Naomi is used to it. She doesnât even give her name to people anymore: itâs easier for both sides if these companions call them by whatever nickname the rumours about her convey.
The âCorpse Whispererâ is only one facet of her fictional identity, one of her many names and perhaps the least flattering. Over the years, she has accumulated them: âCursed Oneâ, âBlack Healerâ, âReaping Doctorâ, âNameless Widowâ, âLady of the Last Sightâ⊠Everywhere sheâs gone, theyâve adopted a new name for her, to the point the name she was given at birth is nothing but lost to the sands of times, like numerous books sheâs read, like the names of her fallen companions. So much things pass by your eyes when time doesnât affect you anymore. Such is her curse, after all.
Even with time, the wounds left by her losses never truly scar. Every death in which sheâs had some amount of responsibility weight on her shoulders, even if as time passes, she starts to forget more and more the individuality of her former partners. And, the heavier the luggage gets, the darker she tries to be, the more reclusive she behaves, so someone else doesnât have to get hurt while following her on her eternal quest to heal others and, maybe, just maybe, finally find the way to end her own life.
Still, despite how much she has cried and screamed already, death continues to affect her when she can see blood on her hands or a cold limb at her feet. Even recently, she got bit in the throat by the death of two parents who had crossed her ways in unfortunate circumstances and she came too late to save them. As they let out their last breath, she met eyes with a curious little girlâs green irises full of life, and thatâs when she knew â Naomi would be traveling with someone else once more.
Neither Alyssa nor she had a choice in the matter. The poor girl didnât have any remaining relatives and the place where she lived was infested by werewolves, the same species that had killed her parents. Naomi couldnât leave someone as young and frail as a ten-year-old girl suffer in the claws of the wolves on two legs that couldnât control their animalistic urges. It quickly became her mission to redeem herself from letting two new persons die in front of her eyes by bringing Alyssa to a safe haven where she could have a normal life until Naomi herself found a solution to the lycanthropic problem.
However, and despite having guessed what happened, despite all of her tears and all of her pain, Alyssa has always told Naomi she didnât hold anything against her, that she did her best when she tried to use her magic to bring back to life the recently deceased. Her smile, which at first was timid and more of a façade, has grown into an earnest one. Every time she sees it, it warms Naomiâs heart, but it reminds her head to remain cool and not to get attached because itâll end badly for the both of them.
For a while, it was fine to have Alyssa around. They mostly went from village to village, from city to city, and Naomi made sure her protĂ©gĂ©e wasnât in contact with the filth and contagion of the sick. Healed bone after healed bone, cured sickness after cured sickness, Naomi found herself enjoying the light-hearted chatters of Alyssa, going from refusing to answer her various questions on the world and herself to replying to them with more and more details.
It was already too late, by that point, but Naomi still liked to believe Alyssa would one day leave on her own terms and her wounds just heal for once. After all, they were only travelling together because Alyssa needed a new home to grow up in and have a chance at a normal life after the atrocious had happened.
However, that delusion has come to an end, as sheâs now forced to make the biggest choice in her life, one that could cost her everything. At long last, the taste of death and the melody of the epilogue come back to her, making her feel more alive than ever, but at what price?
Alyssa has been poisoned with what she can only assume to have been a powerful, yet not instantly deadly substance. She missed catching its name when someone told her what was happening to Alyssa, what was causing her the rashes and the fever that keeps going up and up, but it reminds her of something â animantha toxaemia. A beautiful flower whose pollen has killed its fair share of humans, with no real cure known aside from a taxing healing spell, one forbidden not by choice, but by need.
Their meeting with the flower was unfortunate. Alyssa and she were on the run from some unforeseen adversaries and, once they had successfully lost them in the forest, Alyssa got curious about the deep purple beauty of the flowerâs petals. Alyssa touched it when she inspected it before Naomi could remove the girlâs fingers from the stem and petals. Both are running away from death. Quite ironic, coming from the woman who was once nicknamed âthe Silver Reaperâ, but⊠ what matters isnât her fate, itâs Alyssaâs.
Naomi has managed to get them both out of the forest, but unfortunately, sheâs starting to feel the paralysis effects of the flower in her legs, and thatâs when she realizes she must have been in contact with a lethal dose of the flowerâs poison. One thing the curse hasnât protected her from is illnesses of this kind, and judging by the fever poor Alyssa has fallen victim to, she doesnât count on staying alive much longer. Sheâd have expected herself to be pleasantly surprised by the prospect of finally passing away, since she has seen so much already, and roaming the Earth for about four centuries is starting to take a toll on her spirit â but she has never felt so alive, because danger is a powerful catalyser, and she has a life to save.
A final life, judging by what she needs to pay for what sheâs about to do, but a worthy price to pay and perhaps the life that has mattered the most to her throughout her long, elongated life. Sheâs torn about having to leave Alyssa to her own devices, but theyâre in a village, now, and Naomi hopes the inhabitants that took enough pity on them to lend them the small house theyâre currently in will help her. Sheâs still young, barely fourteen, and she doesnât want Alyssa to struggle again once sheâs gone.
Thereâs no time to question it, however. The toxaemia has four stages, the last being an inexorable rise of internal temperature until the affected person inevitably dies. However, she canât let that happen, and she has to act quick, because getting the both of them back to a safer haven has taken so long that Alyssa is at least in the third stage and, again, judging from her temperature, is crossing into the last before⊠before the inevitable happens.
There are numerous times where she wanted to give her life to save another, but never got to do it because the other person died before her eyes before she ever could or because they did it first, leaving her alone again, most of them eternally unaware of her immortality. Now, however, sheâs the one who has to do it, because Alyssa isnât a mage like her, wasnât born with the ability to cast spells, and sheâs someone who deserves to live life at its fullest, unlike her.
Naomi has made her decision the moment she touched the flower and nothing is going to make her go back on her decision â aside from the idea to leave Alyssa alone, but the girl has made some friends in the village due to how kind she is, so at least, Naomi has some hope. If her companions have shown her something, itâs that there still are good people in this world, no matter how many atrocities sheâs seen.
Almost three centuries ago, she learnt spells that are now forbidden. One of them, whose original scroll has been burnt in an attempt to silence its deadly power, is the antidote to animantha poisoning. There may have been another way, hidden away in a forgotten script or still being conceived by some hermit mage or witch living in remote woods, but she doesnât have the time to question it. All she can do, now, is apply the formula as sheâs learnt it, hoping her spell memory has exceeded human standards. The curse should have at least given her that, if she was to become the Codex of Magic.
Her last name â the âCodex of Magicâ, the true purpose of the curse inflicted on her so many years ago. How ironic, considering sheâs lent all of the scripts sheâs copied again in the bag she always carries with her, that she dies by the hands of one of the spells she was meant to preserve for prosperity. Even if she survives, she wonât be able to use the spell on herself afterwards in a timely manner, so she hopes Alyssa carries on her will. Thatâs all she wants.
Ignoring the pain in her limbs and her own rising fever, Naomi gathers her powers in both palms of her hands, summoning all of her healing prowess for one last show. The spell calls for specific incantations, which flow out of her mouth as if she was born to say them at some point â something about summoning the power of hope itself, serving as its vessel for a miracle, giving up oneâs life for the sake of another. The spell was named âHope of the Unending Agapeâ for a reason, after all, and Naomi doesnât have anything else to lose.
The amount and intensity of the mana running through her entire body is searing her from the inside as her hands carefully cradle Alyssa on the bed of the house, cupping the girlâs face as the mage hopes it will work as intended. Alyssa must survive, itâs all that matters, she doesnât care about the price of it all, just give this girl her life back, donât take her away from the mortal realm so soon, not when she has so much to see and discover, so much to live and smile at.
Hope can take her soul, she doesnât care, but that flower wonât take away Alyssaâs, she swears on her life. One has lived for too long and the other is too young to pass away.
This spell feels like inflicting agony on oneself, so her vision is starting to give in and so do most of her sense following it. Sheâs burning on the inside, either from the spell or from the toxaemia, but thereâs no way for her to distinguish anymore. What she knows, however, is that Alyssaâs skin is cooling down and her tremors are fading away. This is more than a relief: sheâll survive. Alyssa will see another day and have the life she deserves, sunny and beautiful.
Little by little, frame by frame, Alyssaâs complexion regains its colour, the red stains on her cheeks disappearing. The sweat that was pearling on her skin fades away. Her frowned feature relax and give way to a peaceful expression, as if she had been sleeping all along. Itâs a beautiful sight, really.
However, the same canât be said for Naomi, as a huff of platinum smoke escapes from her lips and she collapses in pain. She has exhausted every cell of her being, or so it feels like, and itâs up to the curse to see if sheâs worth saving â she doubts it, because a curse is a curse, and being a benefactor for its host would go against its own nature.
It very much feels like sheâs dying, at long last. Her vision is mostly black now, safe for a couple blurry shapes, and most of her senses have already given in: her hearing has been replaced with a sort of slightly disturbed silence, she canât tell what sheâs touching and the only taste in her mouth is that of copper and iron. All she can feel are the tears going down her cheeks and the relief that, at least, someone is getting out of this alive.
Despite technically meeting her end at the hands of a toxic flower, Naomi doesnât see it this way: she views her demise as the ultimate act to save a life and, as such, doesnât have the shadow of a regret. Sure, there may have been things sheâd have wished to do before sheâd die, and her survival is a very unlikely gambit on the curse acting up; but they donât matter compare to the reasons why she did such a thing, why she took on someoneâs deadly pain onto herself.
The only thing sheâll be missing is the warmth of Alyssaâs voiceâŠ
When Alyssa wakes up from something that was between a dream and a nightmare, which she canât remember aside from the magnificent gaze of a solar goddess looking to her eyes, she quickly realizes what she saw in her sleep wasnât a figment of her imagination â and immediately knows, upon touching long and slender lukewarm hands, she has a task to accomplish to pay back a life-changing favour.

AU Yeah August - Day Twenty-Five: Penpal
So I spent all of yesterday (again) writing something unrelated to AU month, but itâs done so I shouldnât have more delays like it. Just the normal ones where Iâm gaming or drawing, or suffering existence lol.
Series: Persona 4 x Trauma Team Rating:Â G+ Genre:Â General Pairing(s): Alyssa and Nanako Summary: Alyssa and Naomi go to visit her penpal that lives in Japan. Warning:Â No beta!
The number of hoops Naomi had to bother leaping through in order to make this work was ridiculous. However, that tends to happen when a Government makes an ass of themselves and didnât want to admit their own error. Same could be said about the medical board, but they tend to be either or for other reasons. Still, their decisions were also part of the Governmentâs directive so they could be jackasses in this case too.
Fortunately, she had experience with plenty of people like that now. And she would put up with them if it meant giving Alyssa this trip.
It had begun as an assignment for school. Her class would be given a penpal somewhere in the world and receive correspondence thus helping improve her writing skills while helping improve her penpalâs English.
Alyssaâs penpal was a young girl named Nanako Dojima who lived in a small town called Yasoinaba. From what Naomi had been told â and from the backs of various letters sheâd seen â the young girl was very much like most girls her age in Japan which was very modest, polite, and sweet. Naomi recalled herself being that way, and then high school happened with everything cascading after.
Well, hopefully, her father was prepared for that phase.
Back to the matter at hand, after months of letters and emails back and forth, Alyssa came to Naomi and asked if they could go to Japan and meet Nanako. There were a number of concerns Naomi had with that; chiefly how meeting someone in person might actually end their friendship, and trying to travel back in general. The doctor might not be on the âno flyâ list, but thereâd been a whole show made of her deportation from her birth country. She didnât want to go and beg the government for their permission â not when she did nothing wrong to be deported in the first place.
It was nice sometimes to have friends in high places sometimes.
Of course, getting them to relent came with a slight stipulation: One, she would be monitored by a local officer, and two, she would not perform any medical operations.
Simple enough; annoying, but simple. Almost worth the tacked on apology.
The train exiting the tunnel, Alyssa was practically bouncing in her seat and pointing. âNaomi, Naomi, look! That sign says âYasoinabaâ! Weâre almost there!â
âSo we are, Alyssa,â she replied, smiling. âLetâs sit down before the train arrives. We donât want to fall over now.â
âHehe, okayâŠ!â
The bubbly girl dropped back into her seat and straightened out a few wrinkles in her dress, checking her eyepatch last. Meanwhile, Naomi looked over their luggage again, making sure they had everything. This would only be for the rest of summer â it would be fine. She wouldâve liked to know the name of the officer that was going to watch her in the meantime, but it really did appear to be a small place; they would meet when they arrived.
The train slowed and the intercom blared to life, chirping their arrival to the Yasoinaba Station. When they reached a complete stop, Alyssa shot back to her feet. Normally, Naomi would probably scold her, but the cart was practically empty â she was in no danger of running into anyone. Gathering their belongings, Naomi handed Alyssa her suitcase before they both made their way off onto the platform itself.
Looking around, Naomi hummed. There was something about a rural city thatâŠ
No, wait⊠there was something odd already about this place.
 âExcuse meâŠâ
She turned her head sharply, startling briefly the man that had approached her. Taking a second to look him over, she noted the dark hair with some graying flakes, the stubble around his jawline, and his loose tie. Why bother wearing a tie if they werenât going to do so properly? But she stopped herself from fixing it in order to meet his eyes again.
âYes?â she asked, placing a hand on Alyssaâs shoulder as the girl held onto her waist.
âAre you, by chance, Kimishima?â
â⊠I am.â Her eyes narrowed slightly, wary if he turned out to be with the press.
However, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a badge. âIâm Detective Dojima. Iâve been assigned to watch you during your stay. I told them it would be a conflict of interest at the department, butâŠâ
âI suppose they considered it more of a convenienceâŠâ she finished, sighing. âI understand the thought process, but I donât approve of it.â She was also quite wary of what the intention might be.
âYeah, I donât either,â Dojima sighed, shaking his head. âAnyway, Iâll give you a ride to where youâre staying so you both can settle in. There isnât much to do here.â
âThatâs fine. I think itâs better Alyssa meet her friend in a quieter settlingâŠâ
But she wondered how long things would remain quiet for them.

Seeking Help
It was happening again. It just had to happen againâŠ
The house was quiet, for the most part. Her motherâs office door was closed, signaling she was busy with work (although that never stopped Alyssa, in truth.), Chloe was sitting in her lap. She nervously, ran her fingers through the soft black fur, her eyes looking around in alarm.
The neighborhood they lived in, was for the most part a good one. The Elementary school was a fifteen minute walk away by foot and she usually was able to, with a friend, or be dropped off in a groupâŠ
But⊠her neighbors also had bad habits.Â
âMew?â Chloe leaned up, nuzzling her chin.
Please⊠PleaseâŠ.
Alyssa ducked into her blanket fort further, her shoulders shakingâŠÂ
Outside, there was a large explosion heard.
Fireworks.
She wasnât sure who was setting them off, but some neighbors recently had been setting them off, every night⊠Since early evening into the dead of the night.
âNaoâmi look! A bigtastic teddybear! Itâs so cute!â
Stop itâŠ
Stop itâŠ
Alyssa froze up, gripping her head tightly⊠But she wasnât seeing the living room around her. Or the cat in her lap.
She was seeing her old yardâŠ
âWhat Naoâmi doesnât know wonât hurt. Sheâs a grownup.â
I was badâŠ
I was really badâŠ
BANG!
She heard some inhuman noise⊠It took her a moment to realize that noise was coming from HER.
âAlyssa!?â
Alyssa snapped out of her reverie, finding the worried face of her mother, leaning in close. Naomi brought her into her arms, holding her tightly.
Alyssa was shaking like a leaf, burying her face into Naomiâs neck.
âMommy⊠Itâs not getting better⊠Why isnât it getting better?â
âSweetieâŠ?â Alyssa sniffled, hugging her mother tighter.
âMâscaredâŠâ
Naomi sighed heavily, cradling her daughter close.
That therapy appointment canât come soon enoughâŠ
Hank, Gabe, this doctor better be worth their life, or itâll be a ThursdayâŠ
âMommaâŠ.âÂ
âShhâŠâ She kissed her head, nuzzling her. âIâm here⊠Iâm hereâŠâ She carried her, Chloe following in step behind her.
âIâm hereâŠâ
oooo
She could tell, Alyssa was nervous, as she held Chloe in her arms. The week had been a hard one⊠neither had really slept well, if she had to admit.
âI donât wanna be here..â Alyssa whispered. âIâm not hurtâŠâ
âI know Alyssa⊠but, this is important.â Naomi looked towards the door, narrowing her eyes, silently willing things to hurry up.
Alyssa reached over, touching her hand.
Naomi took her hand, squeezing it gently.
âWhatâs the doctor gonna doâŠ?â
âTheyâll ask you some questions, youâll talk⊠itâs like when you're visiting Gabe, or having a check up. Itâs a different check up though.â Naomi gestured to her head. âFor up here.â
â... Iâm not okay am I?â
Naomi sighed, bringing her arm around her daughter, stroking her arm. She had grown a little, but she was so very small still. Her feet barely brushed the floor.
âAlyssa, you have something thatâs⊠actually very common.â
âReally? T-the problem with loud noises and⊠stuff?â
âYeah⊠Little Guy, has it too⊠but instead of loud noises, he has bad dreams.â
âI betâŠâ
Naomi nodded.
âAnd Dr. Freebird⊠He sees a psychiatrist too. He recommended this clinic too, this is where he goes. He goes to the psychiatrist downstairs.â
Alyssa relaxed a little, as she tried to focus on the information⊠Navel, while he tried to hide when he was sadâŠ. She could tell when he was struggling.Â
Dr. Freebird⊠she admittedly, never could imagine the man, who seemed larger than life ever having problems.
âAnd⊠Youâre Uncle DerekâŠâ
âUncle Derek too?â
âYesâŠâ
Alyssa held her arm.
âAnd⊠you?â She asked.
Naomi flinched visibly, as Alyssa frowned.
âYou do⊠donât you?â
âI used to⊠But, your mom is a hypocrite sometimes who prioritizes everyone else over her self.â
âThatâs true.â
âHeeeey.â Naomi nudged her arm, eliciting a giggle from her. âSassy girl.â
âSassy mom.â Alyssa smiled faintly.Â
âYeah⊠but, thereâs no worry. I mean it⊠Thereâs nothing to be afraid of.â
âPromise?â
âI promiseâŠâ
Naomi brought her arms around her tightly.Â
âAnd no matter what, I love you very much⊠and Iâm so proud.â
âI love you too!â
The office door opened.
âAlyssa Kimishima?â
Alyssa looked up to her mother, before getting up, taking a deep breath.
Itâs okay, to be nervousâŠ
If Mommy can do itâŠ
She narrowed her eyes.
So can I!
oooo

4 of those 28 have to be supplemental players though, so not actually full time contracted players. We are already at our max of 24 with Alyssa, Tobin, and whoever draft pick #27 is. Plus when Gilles returns thatâs another player to add. I donât expect us to bring in many other players.
So who was supplemental last year? and for instance, Gotham has 25 players right now rostered, who is their supplemental player?
If I had to bet, I'd bet Angel City has a trade or two up their sleeve.
SFVG, Cousins, Breslin, Schult, Taylor were all rostered last year. We havenât added anyone (yet) and yet it still worked last year? Some rules arenât adding up lolÂ

Wedding photo with asclepias flowersÂ
I had Naomi wear black instead of white because I think she prefers darker colors since the start of her forensics career
If youâre going off of Little Guyâs mii, his favorite color is actually black, but I remembered that iconic white suit he wears in tt to impress the press reporters, and someoneâs gotta wear white at a wedding so why not him?Â
I also gave him a cloak that Alyssa can hold like the train of a wedding dress since Naomiâs skirt is short and she isnât wearing a veil. Little Guy/Naomi enjoyers out there I hope you enjoy :)

The Adventures of the Dying Messages BTS (part 2)
Basically a continuation of the last one, xept I wanna add some scenes I have plans for the future
Naomi and Sithe daughter swap. Either Naomi has to go to the crime scene, Courtneyâs not doing anything, so she leaves her with the coroner. Little Guyâs...somewhere. Probably screwing around with Sholmes. Likewise, Sithe sends Maria to accompany her because sheâs spent a long time in the lab, and getting out would be good for her.
Sholmes teaching Little Guy how to box
Naomi, LG, and Alyssa having to get new clothes to fit in with the times
âA blood test...that turns oneâs blood a different color to determine who it belongs to.â âWhy yes. Iâm still in the process of tweaking up the formula, but I guarantee you this is the invention the world will be raving about for centuries to come! Imagine, the very first Herlock Sholmesâ patented blood testing kit!â â...I...suppose I can see how it can certainly pave the way for blood typing. But...why such obnoxious colors? Whatâs the chemical reason behind that?â â...My assistant likes pink, Miss Kimishima.â
(still thinking about this one tbh) Even though Courtney doesnât know Alyssa that well, she notices the scars on her skin from her skin graft surgery, and she can only wonder what sort of horrid incident she must have suffered to endure that.
Likewise, before Naomi switches to wearing more...âmodestâ clothes, she sees the scar on her chest and canât keep herself from asking about it. Hearing about the surgery, sheâs surprised how she even managed to survive that, and how clean it had healed.
Just a more on the fun side: Naomi, LG, Courtney, and Herlock going to a pub for work related reasons. They end up playing each other in a game of billiards.Â
Also on the fun side: after getting to know each other a bit more, Courtney inviting the trio to her flat for tea
I wasnât going to do this initially, but after toying with the idea, I have to do it. Gina as a witness. LG tries to get information out of her, and she gives him hell the entire time.Â
Canât be a Trauma Center crossover without some good old medical procedures :D of which...I have none (besides Maria having a severe asthma attack and Naomi not having the proper resources to stop it). But Iâm working on it!
