is this a fucking joke. my parents are already chewing me out for "not being accommodating and coming to a compromise" when i made it clear i dont want x's dog in the house. and "it seems like i dont love them anymore." and then i go to take a shower and metaphorically drown my sorrows by being all sad as the water pours over me. and on one of the shelves, i keep my toothpaste & this uhh well. tongue-paste. because my tongue likes to get a lot of build-up super easily, and strawberry tongue-paste helps. but im embarrassed by it, i dont want a constant reminder of it, because a couple years ago, i had mono + oral thrush, and i was in so much pain that i would cry every time i ate. and instead of focusing on "oh hey borb is in so much pain that he's no longer eating," my entire family focused on the thrush and how *disgusting* it was. i mean it was really horrible of me to be so gross, they kept asking me to stick my tongue out so they could stare at it, like ew borb don't you brush your tongue? you're so disgusting. u need to be brushing your tongue. and they kept saying that the entire fucking time i was in the ER. and so i feel like im genuinely the most disgusting person to ever live, and i got some tongue-paste and a special tongue scraper just to help. but im embarrassed, right? so i turn the tongue-paste bottle around, so the label faces the wall. and every fucking time my mother comes in, she turns it around. every. fucking. time. she doesn't even touch my toothpaste, which is right next to it and also has the label facing the wall. no, just the tongue-paste. as a little reminder 😇 that she can and always will fuck with my shit. and that she thinks im the most disgusting human to ever exist, she's made that clear so many times, gagging and making fun of me for literally anything. jesus fucking christ I HATE THIS FUCKING HOUSE IT'S KILLING ME. everytime someone just makes Taranza personality just sobbing about Sectonia, it's annoys me. Has anyone even done Taranza without mentioning Sectonia's name for one second, it's like that what his whole character is and it makes me hate him more and more, and then they bring in Dark Meta Knight like he caused this, tbh i don't really care if he did or didn't there was no evidence stating he did and Taranza doesn't even know but it's like people coping mechanisms to just torture my poor little edgy borb with it by making him suffer and that makes me hate Taranza even more.

(just gonna bring in a theory just why not) I have a theory that Sectonia is just the mirror version of Joronia since the only time we see her real form is in the mirror of an artwork which means Sectonia just yonked her into the mirror trapping her inside cuz it makes no sense why she transforms into a wasp. (anyways back to me ranting)

I like Taranza and his design but how tf am i suppose to feel bad for him if his personality is just Sectonia and every bad thing that happens to him is just so funny, atleast Taranza in the manga has some personality. Also just noticed how Taranza got fucked up in the most possible way ever.

• First he loses his queen.

• Second KTD is overshadowed by KPR which has the same story but different aspects (also the name sucks who came up with Kirby Triple Deluxe it doesn't even contribute to the story), has one of the same sub-game but different and Susie has a personality. Despite the game coming first and having a original story Hal just decided to do the same thing and make it even cooler.

•Thirdly everytime he's in the fucking artwork it always shows Sectonia (like why is he making that fucking cookie of her, that must be so awkward and weird).

•And lastly that face mask of his dead queen, dang Magolor is just so savage that he went back in time just to see Joronia so he can create a mask (just imagine that you have someone you love the most just for someone to make a mask outta them).

Taranza is the most misrepresented, tortured character in the whole series.

sorry im late but i was spamming one bestie with some more analysis thoughts on the borb while half scrolling through my fyp bc i do curate my experience ya know. BUT YOU GUYS. EVERYONE TAKE SEVERAL STEPS BACK AND A DEEP BREATH.

@oneginn I get your point and your post and I respect that, and I personally apologize for the boundaries that were set off with regards to some of my reblogs! I do recognize romanticizing toxic behaviors is BAD and a point of extreme concern, especially in real life! HOWEVER, at the same time, like you said! exploring and liking the darker themes are a thing, and fundamentally, people expressing their thoughts about it is part of the process, especially when writing about it in fiction. I believe that as long we do recognize the proper warnings AND DO give warnings, it's perfectly sane for people to post whatever in our personal blogs. Not to mention that while fiction has the ability to influence reality, some times fiction IS just fiction, and saying this from a place of love: IT'S NOT ALWAYS THAT DEEP. Sometimes the girlies just want some unhinged absolute gratitious smut, some girlies want the most heart wrenching traumatizing angst, some people want the most rancid and unhealthy parts to see how worse they can go, and some girlies want the soft slice of life absolute peaceful fluff AND that's why fiction is great, it can contain ANYTHING! Of course, it is still important to keep a critical lens on everything we read, but it's also important to keep in mind that it's a space where people can explore their boundaries SAFELY.

But at the same time the arguement that it's just fiction isn't gonna cut it, bc there are too many flavors of fiction for people NOT to react. Life was difficult for you because of your huge antlers. Frankly, you never thought anyone would want to befriend you, let alone be romantically involved with you. Tenya, however, saw your antlers as unique and whenever you found yourself in trouble because of them, he was always there to help.

"Um, sorry I didn't, hold on!" you groaned in embarrassment when one of your antlers became entangled in a string of garland outside Class A's door. "Please allow me to assist!" Tenya pleaded, naturally he treated you with more protection than others.

When Tenya found you stuck beneath the desk in his room, he said, "May I inquire as to what happened?" You groaned out of embarrassment. "I was just trying to clean your room for you!" He smiled and kneeled in front of you. "You do not have to do such things to show your appreciation. I admire and adore you regardless," he said before helping you get unstuck.

"May I ask what is on your antlers?" You knit your eyebrows, "Huh?" As you reached up, you felt one of the many plastic circles hanging from your antler spikes. "Oh, Bakugou likes throwing things at my antlers occasionally," you replied shrugging, but Tenya crossed his arms clearly annoyed. "I believe I will have to speak to him. This is not amusing nor appropriate behavior to engage in during class." Of course, he wouldn't stand for anyone bullying the one he loved.

"There we are," he stated, having finished wrapping medical tape around your head. He knew your antlers shed every year, and that it was a bloody scene when they did. Naturally, he provided you with minor first-aid assistance. "Are you well?" he asked with loving concern. You frowned in response and carefully rested your head on his shoulder. It was uncomfortable not to have your antlers and during the months it took for them to grow back, you sought physical comfort from Tenya which he welcomed.

"Perhaps we should try an alternative method," Tenya stated when he noticed you struggling to lie down on the grass like your classmates. "Lie on your back and place your head on my lap," he instructed, and though you were a little embarrassed since he had rules about public affection you did as he said and gasped when you could finally see the sky and the clouds that passed by. Tenya smiled, enjoying the sight of your happiness and childlike wonder.

You'd always remember the question, "How on earth did you two get stuck like that?" when you met Eijirou for the first time during a training exercise. Due to his skin-hardening quirk, your antlers got caught, so you were stuck together, but you also remember how he made you laugh to ease your embarrassment.

"Uh, babe what do you have on your-" he paused when he realized bright festive string lights were wrapped around your antlers. "Is it a holiday?" Kaminari asked in confusion, and you shrugged. "No, I just wanted to do something different," you replied, walking past him and Eijirou to your seat. "What does that mean?" Kaminari asked, turning to the redhead who shrugged. "That's just my adorable antler babe for you!" He replied with a toothy grin.

"See now you have your own horns, just like me!" he announced, poking one of the hair spikes on his head. Your antlers had just shed as they do every year, and as usual, you were miserable until they regrew a few months later. Eijirou would always comfort you during this time. Although your hair was sticky from all the gel, you couldn't help but appreciate his efforts.

"Yeah, we did it, babe!" Eijirou screamed, standing among the debris of the wall you had just busted through. While he used his quirk, you used your antlers. He turned, ready to give you a high five when he gasped, noticing one of your antler points had broken in half. Naturally, he tried to help and ripped off a piece of his costume to wrap around the broken part of your antler. "There you go! You're still beautiful babe!"

"Whoa, watch out!" he said, placing his hand on the back of your head to guide you to duck when you entered the room. "Oh um...thanks?" you said, assuming it was the hero in him trying to help. "Well, it wouldn't be very manly if I wasn't looking out for my number one babe!" he replied, but you knew he tended to worry whenever he saw you hit something with your antlers even more so when they happened to get stuck on something.

If there was one thing, he loved doing it was kissing you. This was especially true when the two of you were in his room and he was lying on the bed with you sitting next to him. "Hey babe," he said, catching you off guard when you turned, which gave him the chance to pull you down by your antlers and into a much-needed kiss.

My Moms Adventures with Dhmis-

i Was talking to a friend today and i suddenly remembered that a few years ago i made my mom watch Dhmis (Web) with me. before i was even half confident to even make a tumblr account.

And then i realized that Dhmis tumblr would maybe get a giggle from this.

i was wondering if i should tell this. then i remebered my mom shares silly story's about me on her facebook. so this is revenge of the silly stories now. so here we go.

-From what i remember-

CREATIVITY: is when I realized that she was probably the Key demographic Becky and joe were going for tbh. She went from "This is weird.." to "This is weird in a fun way!" to " D: " Real quick. it was like those fake reaction channels from 2014 but in real life. it was crazy.

TIME: She got suspicious of tony real fast. She Also gave Roy a face that i could only describe as a face you'd give someone before crossing the road to avoid them. also!- She isn't a big fan of the trio. she found them creepy, she feels bad for them! but she also wouldn't get within 30 feet of them either.

LOVE: Guys lemme tell you. SHE IS SHRIGOLDS #1 HATER She hated him the moment he flew on screen. She was cussing him out and giving him the stink eye every time he spoke. She still talks about how much she hates "The creepy ass butterfly" to this day

COMPUTERS: She was jamming on the computer song fr. cant blame her it is in fact a banger. like she was worryingly looking at the screen while also bopping her head along. and when reds head exploded she froze and said "DID HE JUST FUCKING DIE!!!?" in the same vain as marks "WAS THAT THE BITE OF 87!!!?"

HEALTHY: She was confused and quiet most of the time here till THE SCENE. where she openly gasped and went "whhhAAAAAATT THE FUCK!!??????????" Jaw AGAPE, Eyebrows FURROWED. and then the end scene, She put her hand over her mouth and watched red walk away from the phone as the credits rolled and- "HE ATE HIS FRIEND??? WHY?" "They forced him too" "HUH? WHAT? THEY FORCED HIM TOO EAT HIS FRIEND? HIS FRIEND IS EATEN! ATE! GONE!" if DHMIS is mentioned in any conversation her first words will always be "THEY MADE HIM EAT HIS FRIEND!!!" Even is she hears it across the room. she will yell it.

it happened a few days ago actually! in the car.

"They made him eat his friend!!"

DREAMS: She was still in shock over duck getting canned. she was the most confused by the surrealism of dreams. Common questions from this episode "So is the bird dead dead? or dead like the clock made them dead?" "Is the mop in the real world? or a mop man world?" and "Why is he (Yellow guy) So upset?"

My answers: "I don't know. its kinda up to the viewer" "I don't know. its kinda up to the viewer" "safe to assume he's having a rough day."

Anyways, when red started pushing buttons and all the old teachers popped up it was "No! there all awful!" then shrigold popped up for a sec and. as said before - she's shrigolds #1 hater- so it was "NO! GET THAT BITCH OUT OF HERE!!" And she was quiet, making concerned faces at Roy. Confused face at the end. and shocked silence as the credits rolled.

Her final thoughts: "It was interesting to say the least, not my full cup of tea but i can understand why you like it, its very artsy and weird and speaks to you in that way. . Its like visual artists version of going to a underground concerts mosh pit, Crazy yet exhilarating. you never know what's going to happen next!

Tv Show?: she wants to see it but at the same time doesn't, Its an odd limbo. and she doesn't have a VPN. so she's going to hold off till further notice.

Day 198: Your Honor, Pound My Butt

Fun fact about this tingler, it's one of a few that is not listed on Dr. Tingle's listing of ebooks: https://www.chucktingle.com/ebook.html I noticed a couple of these when I was compiling my list for the year. I have a few people in my life who regard me as a tingler authority- which I don't agree with, there are still over 150 I haven't read yet. But when I deny this, one friend in particular who's aware of my project has mentioned a few times: "You have a more comprehensive list of tinglers than Chuck Tingle!" (I don't think I can confidently claim this either. I have a more comprehensive list than Chuck Tingle DOT COM. I think it's likely Dr. Tingle has a personal list though.)

Anyway, who doesn't love a good courtroom drama? Especially in the Tingleverse. You can always count on some shenanigans that could make any Ace Attorney fan happy. (What can I say? That's the other piece of media my mind goes to when a lawyer starts striking dramatic poses.) The ethics of the prosecution winning over the judge via pounding are... debatable... but honestly considering the defense is trying to argue that spaghetti theft is legal I feel totally fine about it.

Also... damn, this one has the most GREAT tingler names I've seen in one place. Limber Creems. Judge Humpkin. Borb Corb Esq. They're all here!

heya dess!

about ten million years ago i sent you an elaborate ramble about galacta knight's moral status. this isn't calling you out for not answering (i literally sent you a wall of text) and my opinions have since changed anyway, but i remembered this recently and got morbidly curious about your own take on gk's moral status. dw though... if you don't want to answer this one either, that's ok!

I pride myself on liking every Kirby character. That said, I never loved Galacta Knight. Curse of the over-hyped character? He was too cool. Too beloved. "When's Galacta going to become canon??"

And, just to be petty/salty for a moment, that he had no concrete persona except "See something; kill it" but has been frequently (?) made into the softiest, gentlest woobie amongst the cast next to Kirby (also his existence influenced a lot about Kirby's portrayal in the fandom, ie: "When's he gonna get HIS wings???", and he and Meta together became the template for what everyone's Knight-sonas would look like, meaning that being a cool orb in armor became more commonplace than rare) just caused me to get bored with him real quick, I think? </SALT>

...But I did some looking back at Galacta for this ask and... I can see the charm! I still don't see the "wooby" part (Which I assume has something to do with the "wrongly framed" theory) but I'm growing to respect Galacta as a character of interest. With that out of the way, let's tackle some of the things you brought up in your old ask as well as my own feelings on where the Aeon Hero sits as "a hero!"

It's all very interesting, isn't it? One thing that stood out to me, doing some research on this matter for this ask is that Hyness's speech implies (at least, it implied to me) that one of Galacta's other great deeds alongside helping seal Void was defeating Nightmare.

("Nightmare of a Galactic Crisis" just seems too potently worded for me to believe otherwise. The Japanese even matches up.)

But if Galacta defeated Nightmare... what the HELL was Parallel Nightmare thinking by summoning him to fight on his behalf?! (Ignore the fact that Galacta immediately destroys him. The key is that Nightmare either thought he could control the Aeon Hero or that the Aeon hero would share his goals. Which is FASCINATING~!)

I can't help but think that Galacta's story has some serious twists...

There's another thing, that may be referring back to the "destroy a planet or two" thing and that's Galacta's sealing. He's sealed in crystal and of course some people have made the connection between Galacta's crystal cage and the fairies of Ripple Star. (Usually with the queen of the fairies having a MUCH bigger role than anticipated.)

But like, there's a thing I just realized was in his Planet Robobot flavor text that isn't in the English version. (I know it's a matter of the pause screen text not having enough room for the twice-as-long English but why's it always gotta be Planet Robobot XD )

"Records remain of his being sealed in many different eras."

One could argue that it's all the same sealing but why would multiple different eras need to record the same guy getting sealed if he were only sealed away ONCE. So, that's interesting. Galacta's seal was never permanent.(1) In fact, it seems to be frequently un-permanent. So they have room to cause villainous havoc between freeings.

(For a borb who looks like an angel, he's doing a really good job acting like your classic "Sealed for 100 years but never destroyed 'Demon King.'" I guess that's what makes him and Meta Knight such interesting compliments. The noble devil and the demonic angel? Well, we still haven't decided if Galacta's demonic yet.)

And speaking of the strength of Galacta's seal, I found a weird little detail looking up his fight in RtDL DX. (I had to watch a recording because I spent my whole fight with him screaming in terror and spamming guard because I had exactly one HP left and didn't want to die before reaching Magolor Soul. Thank you, Sand ability!)

In RtDL, the Crystal descends and Galacta slowly opens one eye and then the other. But this changed for DX! Galacta descends with both eyes open. Which shouts consciousness to me.

...I'm rambling away from the topic of whether Galacta is a hero or not. Don't mind me. I'll try to pivot back in good time.

Actually, let's pivot back a little now, because in USDX, he's not summoned from his crystal state, he's just summoned. Which makes sense because like... going entirely by the cutscene, it looks like Galactic Nova actually transports Galacta through time to fight Meta Knight. Like, Galacta in the middle of their villain phase!

We do see Galacta sealed in crystal immediately after this image is shown, but the Nova doesn't bring the sealed Galacta before Meta Knight. Star Dream does. I wonder if that's a difference in power between the two clockwork stars? But I think this "where Galacta was snatched from" is probably the real reason Gala utterly demolishes Star Dream but doesn't attack Galactic Nova. The Gala that Star Dream summons has already been sealed/betrayed/etc.

They don't trust anyone. The Gala that Nova summons is at the height of their "feared across the galaxy" phase but has not yet been captured or has reason to fear capture/re-capture.

...And then you have the Galacta that Morpho Knight absorbs. What's funny about that Gala, and kind of tragic, is that Gala seems to be the calmest of the three. I say this because they actually pause when Morpho comes near. They even look...cutely (!) confused.

So, did Hyness summon a Galacta that was even earlier in his timeline than the one Nova summoned? Which was earlier in his timeline than the one Star Dream summoned?

Although where in Gala's timeline is RtDL?? Galacta appears before us in crystal, is then released, and actually FLIES OFF after defeat without being resealed. Is this the Galacta that "destroys a planet or two?" The opening of the RtDL rift after the crystal prison reforms suggests that it was the Planet Robobot Galacta that would go on to appear in RtDL, who then flies off and... maybe it's that Galacta that appears in Star Allies, to meet his end at Morpho's hands...

By the way, I totally forgot that Morpho does the "friend heart"/"friend move" thing to Galacta before absorbing him! (Dess is beginning to think that maybe the reason I didn't have strong feelings for Galacta Knight is because I just never stopped to pay attention to all the little things that make them interesting!)

So Gala has an interesting timeline and we can see that their level of aggression really depends on where in the timeline you find them. I don't think they were a planet destroying monster when they were first sealed. At least, their most "murderous" incarnation (Robobot) is implied to have gone through some ~stuff~ even AFTER the sealing.

But the fact that (Parallel) Nightmare considers them a potential ally suggests that they were...hmm, "problematic" to certain people toward the tail end of their "Aeon Hero" phase. Those people probably being the Ancients.

La la la~ I smell a cover-up~ la la la~

And so, we're back to the "Galacta was framed?!" theory. To be honest, I don't know what was up with the image Galactic Nova shows us above of Gala in the smoking wreckage but it's important to note that we don't see WHAT it is that Galacta has destroyed.

And while the Magolor epilogue implies Halcandra was destroyed in a great meteoric firestorm of some kind, I would just like to note that Halcandra at that point would have also been potentially ruled (?) by a monarch who quite possibly wore The Master Crown. An object that has been as much as stated to have been poisoning/poisoned by the previous bearers so, yeah. I don't think Halcandra would have been in a good place, if a crown-bearer sat on the throne.

(And wouldn't killing a king and destroying their country/planet be considered something worthy of taking Galacta's title of "hero" away from them and labelling them a galactic level threat?)

So, yes. I think Galacta's "moral" status depends on where in the timeline you are. I don't think they were ever "evil" but I think they probably a dangerous sort of "good-hearted extremist" era in the past and in their later years, that devolved into an aggressive and paranoid "As far as I'm concerned EVERYONE is an enemy and you'd better believe I'm not letting them strike the first blow!"

There's some Gala thoughts to chew on!

(1) Honestly, I wonder if the crystal thing is less of a "seal" and more of a curse? :Dess's mind hears "fairy curse" and starts vibrating: It could be something that affects them intermittently? We've seen Galacta be "destroyed" in USDX (amusingly, their wings "pop" off. Although that is the only time that happens so could be retconned) Anyway, it's not their destruction that causes the seal. Sometimes they just fly off after defeat too! (To destroy more planets??)

This implies there's another trigger for when they become crystal...

But speaking of the "crystal," RtDL DX in Japanese specifically mentions that their seal is actually made of "gem" - the same "gem" used in "Gem Apples." Which going by the Magolor Epilogue, gem apples appear to represent either a) magic power b) the soul or c) the Master Crown. I don't think it's made clear which exactly, because all three are kind of muddled together in Magolor's case. But the fact that there ARE those connections with "gems" + Galacta's "gem" seal activating intermittently is all just VERY interesting to me.

Now go and speculate away, my pretties~!

I'm really glad you said that the opinion doesn't actually have to be unpopular because I have no idea what's considered a popular opinion or not (☛ ´∀｀*)☛ I know I'm always writing on here but I genuinely know nothing about anything on tumblr outside of the circle that I'm in, and I don't really take part of fandom except at cons. So I'll just list a few things I guess and we'll go from there ━

I don't like the idea of characters "deserving each other". I think what matters most is that the feelings are mutual and not one-sided. Not only that but sometimes people use this as a way to justify horrible things happening to said ship or between them? I dont know I'm just not a fan of the connotation.

Shipping real people feels ... icky to me, and like an invasion of privacy. I know a lot of idol/ k-pop companies push it, though. I'm not talking about "oh they look so cute!" I mean like ... 20+ minute analysis videos. If someone made one about me I'd be horrified so ━ I can't really support it being done to somebody else, even if it is innocent at heart, the feeling behind it is just ... not good.

I genuinely can't stand it when a ship that's going to inevitably be complicated and rather fucked up gets turned into a purely fluffy relationship. Granted I enjoy fluff as much as the next person, and anyone can show tenderness towards those they love, but my goodness please let the characters continue to be messed up.

Thaaat being said I can’t see any enjoyment in watching or reading two characters mercilessly abuse one another in a nonconsensual or purely hateful way. Play fighting, both being equally weird and mirroring eachother or general bickering doesn't count - obvs - but if a ship becomes abusive I'll step back from it. I know I know! But Egg you JUST said "keep the relationship and characters fucked up"! Yes! I did, and that doesn't mean that that messed up relationship is abusive or horrible for those characters specifically because its something they both enjoy/willingly take part in. Continuing about this because this is for my own tastes: Its okay to enjoy darker ships and toxic ships! This doesn't mean the person who is enjoying the content believes abuse is alright.

I find that stories that only revolve around romance tend to be extremely dull to me a lot of the time. There should be an idea of where the story is going without romance included, and if the ship comes along then it does. I think those are the ships that tend to feel the most natural since the characters interact without a specific romantic end goal in mind, which makes it all the more sweet when they do come to recognize their feelings as its come from them and not the destined plot ━ I just like it that way though and people can like whatever, y'know?

Possessiveness in ships is like ... very hit or miss for me in how it's portrayed. There's certain instances where its fun but others where it makes me wanna die. Mutual possessiveness/obsession though? Ohooho that is fun to play with, so long as it doesn't become abusive or unbalanced/unwanted by one of the parties. Man - tsk - idk anymore I feel like my opinion is so all over the place but like this all spins back to the toxic abusive relationships being a no no for me like as long as the insanity is consensual between two adults that both like it ? Yeah - that's fine. Does that make sense? I could probably go into stuff about Vladibin with this ( me and borb were talkin about it ) but I won't because I will go on forever and this is already WAYYY longer than I originally intended.

As for unfollowing it's ... whatever to me? There's obviously mutuals that if I lost I'd be really confused/wondering what happened + sad about it but I would still keep my distance; but for the most part I'm unaffected by it ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ I used to care a lot but I grew out of that within like ... 4 months. I know people grow out of their likes and what they want to view, or that they assumed my blog was something else and upon it not being what they wanted, unfollowed - which again, is valid! I don't know I just don't think unfollowing is anything personal ( like, 95% of the time ofc there's always the small percentage that is ). Don't harass people who block you or try to get around the block, things we've heard a thousand times. ଘ(੭ˊᵕˋ)੭ ̀ˋ I think though, that if you have been mutuals/friends with someone for a while and plan to unfollow - I think it would be most polite to message said friend to briefly explain why; especially since so many of us have anxiety sometimes it seems like an unfollow means the other party hates the other. It's just nice if you have a history with someone, not necessary, just polite (ง ื▿ ื)ว

I still remember being so excited when I saw your art show up around here for the first time because its just such a vision, I remember being hit immediately with oh YES, god I hope they stick around, I hope we have another artist, and then you started posting fic too- you’re almost too talented for one person, I’d say share with the rest of us, but I know so well just how hard you worked to get to where you are, you deserve to reap the spoils of it, and frankly, you deserve to be told MORE about how much that work is valued.

You’re also just a delightful person to know, y’know? I would value the space you hold in my online family just as much whether you posted things or not. You’re kind, generous, a fantastic listener and funny as they come. I love spending time talking with you, especially the times we’ve spent in DM’s discussing the stuff thats a bit too personal for tumblr. I don’t think I’ve told you how much it means to be able to talk with another audhd person in our space, but it really is something in feel so much about its hard to articulate. I’ve always been able to be so open and honest with you about things and I’m honoured to be a person you share in return to. Sometimes it’s just as vital to have spaces you can feel safely frustrated or scared as it is to have places to feel positive, and you’ve never made me feel anything but able to talk freely. I love our chats a lot and I wish I could be less busy so we could have more of them, because they always make me feel so… warm. Like the kind of warm that comes from feeling settled and balanced, like everything will be okay.

You are a wonderful artist, writer, and most of all person, and I’m so lucky to have you around.

Could we have maybe a tamer with a pet bird and how their Myotismon and wizardmon would react? (Seperately)

Like maybe the bird picks up on Myotismons temper, so when a bakamon screws up it starts berating them in myotismons voice (making the tamer laugh)

And for Wizardmon it just... Loves him... And his tamers so happy, their favorite person and buddy getting along, lil bird just preening wizardmon..

I just love borbs and digi's 🥺💕

Myotismon

Myotismon doesn't mind birds. He thinks they're quite interesting creatures. Especially the one that his Tamer keeps. The very first time he met it, he was getting along with it quite well. His familiars are bats, which may not entirely be the same, but flapping wings and claws don't bother him even the slightest bit.

The vampiric Digimon does have his temper, but it's always directed towards his servants. Myotismon does sometimes wonder why he even keeps them around, and he talks to the bird about it as if the bird will converse properly with him. He can say, though, he thinks it's so amusing to hear a near mimic of his voice coming from his Tamer's bird.

Myotismon could be in a completely different room with his Tamer and hear his voice come from another room, only for it to be the Tamer's pet bird screeching at a Bakemon about how it's an idiot or the like. It's quite amusing to him that even the bird knows when the Bakemon mess up on something.

Wizardmon

Wizardmon didn't expect to get so suddenly adored by the bird his Tamer kept as a pet. The way it sits on his hat or snuggles up to him when he's just sitting down - trying to snuggle up inside the collar of his cape to nuzzle his neck. He can certainly say it's better than the bird hating him, which he wasn't sure why he expected it but he most certainly did.

His Tamer is so glad that they get along! Although it did take Wizardmon a moment to get used to suddenly having a bird land on him the moment it's let out of its cage after a nights rest. The only warning he gets is perhaps a squak and the flutter of feathers before it's suddenly on him.

Wizardmon will take the time to feed his Tamer's pet bird. He'll get special treats and if it doens't like a certain food but it should eat it, Wizardmon figures out ways to get it to eat such things. He's just figuring it out as he goes, as he still isn't used to a bird of such size and how friendly it is. He does get flustered when his Tamer catches him talking to the bird with a silly voice, quickly covering his face only to have the bird latch onto it and coo at him. It's still rather funny to see.

Okay, so, I'm definitely not the first person to point this out but, since I got Volume 3 (thank you Uncle Mod!!), I've been rereading the series and it only just occurred to me.

For the Trees we've got:

Heart Tree! An obvious one. But!! I just want to add that I love, love, love how the root system that kept it alive works as a cardiovascular system!! So cool!

Next we got Brain Tree! With a…. Bennu Bird? Actually, probably a bigger chance that it’s Ra cause of the whole...... sun god thing. Yeah, that makes more sense, it’s probably Ra. Sun borb!

Also this shot with the music is downright gorgeous. I want it as a print its…… SO GOOD!!! I want to eat the colours. They probably take like airheads but gentler.

And lastly we have Lung Tree! With a Lung Dragon! Didjagetit? Didjagetit? Wink wonk!

Anywho, gorgeous illustrations as always but!! I find it very cool that this last one gives us enough context overall to assume that the Five Trees are probably based on the vital organs of the human body? The next two are likely going to be the liver and kidney Tree?

Also interesting that the Lung Tree is in the water, drowned. And that the Heart Tree was clogged up and squeezed. The Brain Tree one can easily count as a metaphor for depression or grief too!

As always, Mod comes up with the coolest of concepts and I just wanted to point that out!
