When she chooses the animal attacks happening in her own hometown as a case study, she gets sucked down the rabbit hole of what is actually going on in Beacon Hills. Her cousin thinks he’s a werewolf, this other guy claims to be her mate, and she is just trying to make her next deadline without dying in the process.

you, satoru, riko and he were in your room, playing a game of truth-or-dare, when his chance came and the white-haired bastard dared him to waltz with you. suguru still remembers the flustered expression you wore whilst approaching him and the shy smile you rewarded him with at the end of your dance. a lone tear falls onto the creased photo - his last with you - and suguru swears he'll exact revenge from those who stole his love away from him so unfairly, so early.

a timid, reserved person is what nanami took you for when he first met you in the break room two years back. though now he realizes just how wrong he was as he looks at the polaroid in his hand. one second, he was drawing the curtain close and the next, he was following your lead in a toe-curling passionate kiss. a smirk forms on the man's lips as he watches you from the corner of his eyes. if this is who you become on your first date itself, nanami absolutely can't wait to take you out on more dates.

Hi! I feel like you read my mind, as I have been thinking about creating a companion blog for story/writer recommendations--or, at the very least, a recommendation list! I had a running Google Doc with all of the links, but clearly am dating myself now in the fandom, as I go click on half of them, and they are broken links *sigh*.

It’s not even 7am and I am gonna ramble a bit here. I think part of the reason I struggle to write in Norwegian is probably because I’m so used to consume Americanised/English media (not to mention writing fanfiction for that media) that I struggle to not think about new stories through that same lens. I subconsciously or consciously try I to emulate the same pattern that I’m used to seeing on the screen/page and those stories don’t make sense from a Norwegian perspective. I know more about police procedure in the US than for my own country, an American high school is the expected backdrop for any coming of age fic, even my fantasy stories talk in the British voices I’ve seen on film.

And… I have this unique perspective that I could tap into instead of trying to copy the voice and mannerisms and whatnot of people from a country I haven’t even been to. I just need to reframe my premise for my stories and make them so undoubtedly Norwegian/sámi/northern that they can only be written in that language.
