So here’s the question: what will Kell’s reaction be if he finds out Alucard kissed and tried to seduce Lila on the ship?
I imagine it would end in the same way most Alucard and Kell interactions go
Alucard would goad Kell about him (more or less successfully) seducing Lila on the ship and Kell would go at Alucard’s throat while (presumably) Rhy is holding one of them back
Big jealousy from Kell and just a smug ass smile from Alucard like that one cat image
#alucard and kell dynamics will never cease to amuse me#these two HATE each other so much that this would be no different#kell: YOU SEDUCED MY GIRLFRIEND????#alucard: you’re just jealous i did it first#alucard loves to push kell’s buttons so i wouldn’t be shocked#alucard emery#kell maresh#a darker shade of magic#the fragile threads of power#adsom#tftop

A Curious Attraction: Chapter 3
|| Hellsing || Rated M || (3 / ??)
Ao3 Link
Unconventional relationships can take many forms: some are founded by whimsy, others necessity and convenience. They fade like embers in the night or, fueled by loyalty and emotion, grow into an all-encompassing inferno. When those aren’t enough, the most obstinate can still find something to cling to in the ashes.
Friday, 29 September 2000
“And then I said, “That makes two of us!” which—in all fairness—I don’t think he particularly enjoyed hearing.” Seras lifted the clasps on the case that housed her Harkonnen canon, hissing under her breath when her nail caught the edge of the metal. “Damn,” she whispered, biting at the jagged edge with a grimace.
“Dunno why you’re surprised.” Captain Corey Barkley, her second-in-command, knelt beside her as he affixed the scope to his own firearm. Seras enjoyed his company, and ultimately preferred it to most of the soldiers in the Organization’s employ. He had been transferred from the Johannesburg auxiliary following the Valentine Incident, and the two of them had grown close while bringing the new recruits up to speed. Barkley was one of the rare few who didn’t seem to mind that Seras was a vampire, nor did he resent being in the command of someone at least ten years his junior.
“From the way you talk about him, the man’s one loose screw away from going completely mental.” Barkley scratched the day-old stubble on his jaw, lifting the rifle to his shoulder and adjusting the focus with a pensive hum. “You’re probably better off avoiding him.”
“You say that like it’s easy.” Seras rolled her eyes, lifting the cannon to her shoulder. “I just don’t see—” She paused as, with a deafening roar, the first volley burst through the target at the other end of the firing range. “—what the bloody problem is!” Barkley watched in silence as she reloaded her next round. Her hands worked on autopilot as she continued her tirade.
“He complains that I don’t drink enough blood, that refraining makes me less of a vampire or something. Fine: I drink the damn blood. But that’s not good enough either! Now he’s complaining that I don’t drink his blood specifically. And then, when I finally stand my ground and argue my point—a very logical point, mind you—he gives me this… this look and vanishes without another word!”
“Like I said: one loose screw away.” Barkley fired his own round, growling under his breath when the bullet missed the center of the target. “Maybe he needs a good wank.”
“Oh, grow up.” She glared at him over her shoulder. “That’s disgusting.”
“Yeah? And?” He adjusted his scope before trying again, only to curse aloud when the bullet neatly severed the line between the first and middle rings. “I bet he hasn’t had a good stroke in over a century. Go ask him, I bet he’d tell you.”
“You go ask, if you’re so curious.”
“What, and get a bullet in my head for the trouble? No thank you! Besides, I’m not the one he’s jealous over.”
“Alucard is not jealous.” Seras sat the butt of the canon on the ground, one hand on her hip.
“Isn’t he, though?”
“Definitely not.” She stretched her neck, looking up to where the clouds floated lazily overhead. It was almost too nice of a night to be stuck with target practice. She wanted nothing more than to take a long walk in the moonlight, counting the fluffy clouds as they sailed towards the distant horizon. “And anyway, he’s not trying to get me into a new relationship. He’s too busy ruining the ones I already have.”
“All the more reason for me to avoid him like the plague. Otherwise it’ll be my head on the chopping block next.” Barkley looked over at her, wagging his brows with an ostentatious flair. “Then who would you wile away the midnight hours with?” He let out a sigh when she didn’t respond. “You’re really taking this to heart, aren’t you?” Scratching the back of his head, he looked around the firing range as if searching for inspiration. “Listen, if he didn’t make me want to go n’ piss myself, I’d march right down to the basement and give him what-for. I mean, why invite you down there just to turn around and assault you?”
“That wasn’t an assault.”
“So putting his hands on you without your consent no longer qualifies?”
“That’s—! Okay, maybe it was assault.” Seras frowned. “I just wish I knew what his deal was. It’s like he’s never heard of communication.”
“Has anyone in this place heard of a healthy relationship dynamic?” he chuckled. “Besides you and me, of course.”
“Walter… maybe.”
“Maybe.” Barkley mirrored her stance, loosely gripping the rifle as he turned to face her. “Here, why don’t you tell me again what you said before he went all berserk? I’m sure if we put our heads together, we can come up with something.”
“Well…” Seras closed her eyes, letting the memory of the night play out in the forefront of her mind. “He was asking about Walter, mostly. If I spent a lot of time with him, I think? And I do, to be quite honest. It’s just that he was injured after the whole Tower thing, and I felt bad for him, so I offered to do whatever I could to help. After that, things just sort of… transpired, I guess. Is it so wrong of me to enjoy spending time with an old man?”
“Not necessarily, but do you remember how you said it? Ignore my saying so, ma’am, but you’re not exactly glib.” He averted his eyes as she leveled him with a death glare. “Even you have to admit that sometimes you say things in a way that’s rather… easy to misinterpret.”
“I said—” Her nose wrinkled as she screwed her face in thought, ruffling her fluffy bangs with her fingertips. “I said that I only spent one night a week with Walter, since I didn’t think he could handle more than that. And then he made this off-color joke about testing Walter’s stamina, and I said that I—”
“Tch… hahaha!” Her frown became more pronounced as Barkley burst into peals of helpless laughter. “You did not!”
“What!? I don’t see what’s so funny! It wasn’t even that good a joke,” she added sullenly. “You’re not taking his side now, are you?” Barkley saw the flash in her eyes and immediately sobered, jaw shutting with an audible snap of teeth. He swallowed heavily, looking away as his innate human senses went into high alert mode. Seras took a deep breath, willing herself to calm as her undead heart began to ache with the urge to race in anger.
“It’s just that, well: when you put it that way, it seems like you and Walter are, erm…”
“What is it?”
“No offense, but you act so damn innocent! No, you are innocent,” he amended. “Do you not even realize what it sounds like you’re implying?”
“No? Clearly not. Why don’t you spell it out for me?” she ground out between clenched teeth. “Since you’re so worldly and wise.”
“If you insist.” Barkley heaved a breath. “Frankly, when you say it like that, it sounds like you and Walter are fucking.”
“Fucking—what?”
“One another?” He shrugged. “He’s old, but he’s not that old. He can probably still get it up, and no one would bat their eyes at the idea of a friends with benefits—”
“Come off it!” Seras fumbled the canon, her cheeks stained a deep red. “That’s disgusting! Walter is like a grandfather to me!”
“Hey, hey! Don’t bite my head off! You’re the one who told me to set it straight for you! Besides, shouldn’t you be more worried about that weird master of yours? He’s the one that decided that’s what you meant.”
“Oh… fucking hell!” Seras wasn’t often one to swear, but it seemed to be happening more and more the longer she stayed in the manor. “That annoying, infuriating old… bat!” She turned on her heel, sprinting towards the manor with a speed that nearly blew Barkley sideways. He staggered, regaining his balance and still somehow managing to keep a tight hold on the loaded rifle in his hands.
“You really are something else, ma’am.” He watched her leave, a pained smile on his face as he shook his head. Turning back to the firing range, he blanched at the sight of the Harkonnen and its equally heavy ammunition lying where she had dropped it. Both would need to be back inside the armory before the dew fell. “Oh, fuck it all.”
“Master Alucard!”
If Alucard had been the sort of man to startle easily, he would have jolted at the sound of his chamber door crashing against the stone wall in an echoing symphony of rotting wood and hammered metal. Somehow it miraculously held, wobbling precariously on rusted hinges before being blown back once more as Seras charged in with the righteous fury of a Valkyrie and the unparalleled bloodlust of—well, of a vampire.
“Wake up, you miserable, motheaten pile of—!” Any further insults to his person were left smothered in her throat, drowned by the grinding of her jaw and forgotten entirely when he caught sight of the hellfire blazing in her eyes. The presentation did not alarm him; it was not the first time a fuming blonde had roused him from dozing dreams of days long gone, and it was certainly not the last. Intrigued, he straightened up in his chair to face this would-be adversary head on.
“Is there something you need, Police Girl?” he inquired with all the blithe disregard he could muster, looking his little protégé up and down with a sneer. Seras was practically frothing at the mouth, hands fisted and ample bosom heaving with each unnecessary breath. She let out a new barrage of muttered curses at his smug dismissal, nostrils flaring as she advanced even closer to where he sat.
“Let’s get one thing straight right now,” she hissed, leaning in so that they were nearly nose-to-nose. “I. Am. Not. Fucking. Walter.”
“Is that so?” How… interesting. Only a week or so prior, Seras had been nervous at the thought of entering his room, much less remaining there for any amount of time. At the time, she’d managed to hide her emotions well. But now it seemed that anger was more than enough of a catalyst to push aside her wariness, and belay any qualms she had about not only entering into his space uninvited, but facing him on her own terms.
A part of him did wonder if he ought to be more incensed that she’d given up the subservient attitude. On the whole, however, he found himself rather… pleased.
“Is there any particular reason for this little outburst?” he asked, further drawing out the amusing diversion. “Or should I brace myself for more mundane facts about your night?”
“What—that—you know bloody well the reason why!” she screeched, throwing up her hands. “Ugh! Honestly, I don’t even know why you’d come to that sort of conclusion in the first place! Walter is probably five times my age, and that’s including the vampire bits! He’s certainly old enough to be my grandfather at best, and anything we have is strictly platonic! Furthermore: and I don’t say this lightly, mind you—”
Alucard watched as she paced the length of his chamber, boots echoing off the stone tile and hands gesticulating wildly to punctuate her breathless tirade. Her cheeks were flushed, rosy with agitation, her brows wrinkled thin lips twisted in a grimace. It was a far cry from his master’s lectures, which were often rife with threats of punishment and calls to action in the face of backlash from her own superiors. Seras had a certain energy in her anger that directly mirrored her usual cheer. It lent a spark of honesty to her emotions that was… striking, though he felt that humans might have called it endearing.
“Earth to Alucard? Are you even listening?”
“Believe me, my dear: the sound of your voice could wake the dead.”
“That’s not an answer!” She was standing before him again, vexation melting into a wounded expression. Her brows furrowed so that a small wrinkle appeared above the bridge of her nose, chin ducking into the collar of her uniform as the corners of her mouth dropped in her distress. “Master Alucard, do… do you hate me?”
“What?” He was not quick enough to hide his surprise, eyes widening behind the round lenses. Nor was he able to completely mask his displeasure at such a question, lips pursed in a small frown that was somewhat different from his normal scowl.
“I meant what I said, you know. I don’t regret choosing any of this.” Seras waved her hand at the room, as though the shadowy corners and dusty furniture could somehow encapsulate her experience as a vampire. “It’s just that sometimes I think maybe you regret choosing me. And maybe… maybe that’s why you’re in such a hurry to be rid of me.” The same hand fell to her side, fingers flexing nervously against her stockings.
“And how, pray tell, did you manage to arrive at such a ridiculous conclusion?”
“Ridiculous!?” Her mouth dropped open, shoulders sagging. “What’s so ridiculous about it? According to you, I’m a terrible vampire. I don’t make you proud; I don’t give you anything to boast about. I don’t even make decent company.” Her eyes darted to the chest nearby his chair, where it had remained following her impromptu escape.
“You’ve taught me so much already, and in such a short amount of time,” she admitted. “But you also seem to think that it’s improper to want any sort of companionship at all. Don’t you get lonely sometimes?” Seras tilted her head, gazing imploringly at him through her bangs. “I know I do.”
Why should I be lonely? The thought occurred to him before he had time to process her question. I have you. His frown deepened as he met her gaze, bitterness eating a hole in the place where his heart used to beat. How on earth had she managed to convince herself of such a bizarre, human notion? Seras was a fast learner, true, and in her time at the organization she had already learned a great deal. But there was so much more still to cover; they had barely scratched the surface of what it meant to be a vampire! Did the teacher naturally resent the pupil for their ignorance?
“Suffice to say, you’re once again wrong on all accounts.” He shifted in his chair, lacing his fingers and squeezing until he felt his knuckles start to buckle beneath the pressure. It served to regulate his temper, keeping his voice calm as he spoke. “The act of turning you into a vampire is one of the few choices I have no reason to regret.” A strange lump arose in the base of his throat at the admission, the familiar echo of some past emotion. It was not regret, not anger. Soft, poignant… fondness, perhaps? Affection? He brushed the thought away for another time.
“You are more than my student. You are an apprentice, a disciple that I have chosen to take under my wing. You may live in my master’s home and work beneath her watchful eye, but until you partake of my blood, you remain under my jurisdiction. As for your failings, many as they are… why should I resent you for them? They are steppingstones, a broken path that can only lead you to your true calling as a sovereign of the night.”
“Stumble though you will, you only fail me the moment you cease to try, Seras Victoria. Thankfully for us both, you are obstinate to a fault.”
“Master, I don’t know whether I should be insulted or not.” Her brow wrinkled again, this time in mirth. “I think that’s actually the nicest thing you’ve ever said to me. It’s honest, at least.”
“A simple observation, nothing more. Make of it what you will.”
“Well… maybe I am obstinate. Because I’m not going to avoid Walter,” she declared with an expression that dared him to protest. “We listen to the radio together, he and I, and it’s the most entertainment I have around this dusty old manor. You can spare me that much.”
“Is that so?”
“It’s so. What’s more: the next time you get the bright idea that I’m fooling around with someone behind the scenes, just ask me.” She winked. “Unless you want to try changing my mind.” Something in his expression must have spooked her; she took a step back, laughing nervously.
“It’s just a joke! You don’t have to glare at me like that…. L-Look, I’ll just see myself out. Sorry about your door, by the way. I can fix it.” She awkwardly tried to bend the hammered metal frame back into place, blanching when it broke apart in her hand. “Erm… okay, I’ll get Walter to fix it,” she muttered, tossing the ancient chunk of splintered wood aside. “Either way, it’ll be fixed by morning, I promise!”
“Police Girl….”
“Right! Sorry! I’m going, bye!” He listened to her scurrying footfalls, mapping her course through the manor as she went in search of the man he’d told her to avoid. Insubordinate… churlish, defiant little thing, isn’t she? He tipped his head, eyeing the partially full bottle of wine at his side.
Still, it’s more entertaining that way.

Babe can u give us sweaty post-workout blowjob with dr ren?
yes daddy, i’m a big girl now. 😇
———
You flipped through your magazine, wiping off some sweat from your forehead. Your hour on the stair master was almost up and boy were you fucking ready. You didn’t even want to be here in the first place, but Ren drags you here every day once he’s off work. Giving you a workout routine while he weighlifts or runs, which you have to follow because he 100% spies on you.
Your legs were jelly once you finished, stumbling off to track down Ren. It was time to go home, and you were ready to leave him here just for the chance to take a hot bath alone. You carefully walked downstairs, scoping out for Ren.
Hearing him grunting while lifting, a couple of his gym buddies there with him. Each one carved and sleek, oozing testosterone. Ren was just finishing whatever bench press he was doing, probably lifting more than your car weighed. You were drooling when he sat up, toweling off his sweaty face. Cheeks rosy pink as he steadied his breath.
“Did you even do what I told you to do? You’re barely limping.”
You scoffed, stepping between two large men to glower down at him on the bench. Trying to look as intimidating as you could... but Ren was looking too delicious.
Tank top sticking to his broad chest, veins bulging around his biceps and down his forearms. Chugging some water as he glared at you. You nodded dryly, squeaking as you responded, “Yes daddy, I was up there for so long.”
Ren grunted at you, a small smirk on his lips at his nickname. He loved being called Daddy, especially in public. Made him feel powerful, and made him want to fuck you wherever you were.
He patted the bench, between his spread legs for you to take a seat. Mumbling to the men around him to fuck off. You perched down, wiping your face off with your own towel.
“Are you ready to go home?”
“Yes,” you mumbled, watching his friends linger as you sat with him.
He hummed, a big hand coming to skate up your right arm. “But you look so cute in your workout clothes, all tight. Showing everyone what I get to see at home.” Ren tugged you closer, nuzzling his sweaty forehead against your temple. “Locker room? Five minutes?”
———
You pranced in after Ren, letting yourself be yanked inside one of the family stalls by his large hand. You fell to your knees immediately, tears down his joggers to reveal his cock.
“Eager are we?”
You gripped the base, wrapping your lips around the swollen tip. Suckling in earnest, not even bothering to tease him before trying to shove him down your throat. His cock twitching as you choked.
Rens hands ripped through your hair tie, tossing it across the room. Making his own ponytail as he thrust into your mouth.
“You’re such a dirty slut, couldn’t even wait for us to get home. Needing my cock in you,” he groaned, tip touching the back of your throat. “Yes-fuck. Should’ve face fucked you out there.”
You popped off him, fisting his spit soaked length as you caught your breath. “Are you jealous Daddy? That your friends got to see me in my little outfit?”
Ren yanked your face to his crotch, forcing you to lick his balls while jerking him. You moaned around them, sucking each one in your mouth. Slobbering all over them while giving him your puppy eyes.
“Up.”
You scrambled on your feet, knees knocking as you spun around. Ren pushed you towards the bench, both hands splayed out on the smooth wood. He yanked your leggings down, burying a hand between your legs ans another in your hair.
“You think you’re such a big girl,” two fingers were stuffed in your cunt, “Giving those men ‘fuck me’ eyes, like the cock hungry slut you are.”
“Oh-yes,” you moaned, bouncing your hips back into his hand. Letting him snap his wrist into you, twisting another digit alongside.
“Whose cock do you want in here?”
“Yours Daddy!”
“Whose cock are you hungry for?”
“I’m hungry for yours! Fuck me Kylo!”
He chuckled next to you, ripping his fingers out as he stepped up.
The tip of his cock rubbing on your folds, “I love when you come to the gym with me.”

I saw the cookie recipe Headcanons. Those are so cute! 🥰 Can I request Afghan biscuit and fortune cookie for Alucard and Silencio (seis manos)?
Afghan biscuit (jealous headcanon)
⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️
Alucard (Castlevania: the Animated Series)
-Being the significant other of Dracula’s son is everything anyone could want, because come on, he is the sweetest, most caring, and witty character you could ever meet.
-However, like any other person on this earth, they become jealous. It’s not insecure thing, it’s just human nature.
-There were times where he would accompany you to the nearby town and already the people there took interest in you. I mean who wouldn’t?
-You were beautiful inside and out, the people seemed to just shift over to your beaming aura and you were just happy that you could help when you could.
-See the thing is, your aura was also bringing in a lot of unwanted attention from men (and women) whose meaning of ‘help’ led a different definition.
-With that said, all your attention was placed on the townspeople instead of your beloved dhampir and he felt a bit peeved about that.
-Your laugh, your wisdom and your time was all for them but, Alucard only wanted the privilege for himself. Everyone else was irrelevant. Well, everyone except Sypha.
-You would notice that he would get very upset especially when one villager would come up to you, (too close to Alucard’s liking) and ask you questions about something.
-His cheeks would have this pout and you could feel your cheeks red from how cute he would look every time and there were times he would cross his arms and turn away until your business in the town was done.
-Of course in the end, you would hug him close and try to get him to smile as you promise him that your attention was always going to be on him. No matter what.
-Now, when he gets really jealous and you are teasing him throughout the time, I wouldn’t want to be near him or a bed anywhere because, 15/10 you’re both going to end up on it.
-Just know that when you are around other people, he feels like you will stay with them and leave him all alone like Trevor and Sypha did.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Silencio (Seis Manos)
-From a man who didn’t talk at all, or show any form of emotion; it’s not hard to tell when he gets jealous or not.
-You could be working at the gas station with Lina and someone who clearly didn’t need any service, would be trying to flirt with you.
-If Silencio saw that, he would wait until the (man/woman) would be alone and have a few choice words for them.
-Nothing lethal, just a quick move of a roundhouse kick to a concrete wall and it cracks in two perfect halves. That was enough a conversation as is.
-His look alone would give people nightmares and the person who was flirting with, you ran off in a fright.
-That person doesn’t come to the gas station anymore after that.
-If he’s in town with you, he makes sure to glare at every. Single. Person, who even thinks of looking at you.
-Silencio and jealousy are two words that shouldn’t be in the same sentence when it comes to him.
-He swears he doesn’t pout when people try to gain your attention, but, he does and that was a secret you kept.
-Hugging him close was enough words to tell him that he didn’t have to worry about other people stealing your heart because, he already had it.

Fortune Cookie (“I love you” headcannon)⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️
Alucard (Castlevania: the Animated series)
-He couldn’t tell you when it happened because...it just happened.
-From your (h/c, h/l) to your (e/c), and your (personality type) he fell hard for you.
-The little things you did to the way you would help people, him included showcased how much you cared.
-Need I go on? Why yes I shall.
-The books you would read together, to sharing meals and all the fun cooking you both had done would deepen his attraction towards you.
-It’s the simple things in life that can lead you to the right person’s heart. (Advice from black-reader-station😉😉😉)
-The first time he said I love you, was when you did something for him, knowing how exhausted he was and the both of you froze from the unintended confession leaving the both of you in an awkward position.
-Perhaps ever since you first met Alucard, you were attracted to him and felt that your feelings wouldn’t be returned with how he had recently lost his father and the idea of being with someone was the last thing on his mind.
-Now, when he said he loved you (for real this time) you both were out by the small creek near the castle and it started out with him throwing water on you and you in retaliation pushed a wave towards him. What started as small flicks of water to both of your bare ankles turned into a full blown water fight.
-You had tripped into the creek and Alucard was quick to catch you. The both of you looked in one another’s eyes and quickly straightened up to thank him.
-Alucard went quiet for a moment then, gently grasped your hand.
-You both let nature take its course and you both leaned in close and your lips met. Your arms would circle his neck to bring him in closer and his would wound around your waist.
-Once you pulled away, his eyes would be half-lidded as he would still have you in his arms and breathed softly to you.
-“I love you” it would be a confession only you would hear and you in turn would smile and tell him you loved him too.
🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐
Silencio (Seis Manos)
-Well, with Silencio he would feel a great attraction towards you. He always thought that no one would have any interest him because he was mute but, he he was so thankful he was wrong.
-You didn’t even have to do anything for him to notice you and to be honest, Silencio was the one who approached you first.
-You knew he couldn’t speak so you asked if he wanted to learn sign language to help communication with other people.
-Silencio was somewhat scared, you were willing to even associate yourself with someone like him and the thought that you wanted to teach him how to speak with other people perhaps made him more...I won’t say irritated but, more withdrawn about your advances.
-Ever since he was little, and watching his loved ones get murdered, he felt the idea of love was meaningless, when he was in a relationship with Lina it was more of a sympathetic relationship because she too was one of Blade’s victims.
-When he developed a relationship with you, it was a friendly one that bloomed into a romantic one, it took a while to have Silencio finally let his guard down and you were patient enough to allow him to adjust to you.
-The ASL teachings would be more of him watching you, longingly and most of the time not paying much attention to what you just did.
-When he finally said “I love you” it was during one of your teaching sessions.
-It was going well with his teachings and he sloppily tried to tell you in sign how much he loved you but, he ended up signing “I made a milkshake” which caused you to giggle.
-He would become embarrassed after you told him what he signed and would instead find a paper and pencil to write out what he meant.
-Once he was done, he would turn away with a blush on his cheeks and rub the back of his head.
-A blush would come to your cheeks as well and you would lean over to kiss his cheek.
-“I love you too, Silencio.” You would tell him and the man would turn even more red if that were possible.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
There you are! Hope you enjoy it! And please, please, PLEASE, let me know if I wrote something wrong, it’s kind of difficult to explain how Silencio “talks” because in the show he uses small gestures and scowls ALOT to explain how he feels to the others in the show.

Alucard x Reader — Haunted Part 2
Request: “Could u do a part 2 of haunted? Where he confesses what had happened to him?“
Here you go anon, hope you’ll like the result, and thank you for the request!
Warnings: somewhat heated scene at the beginning (good T rating, nothing explicit), spoilers for season 3, discussion of past sexual abuse. Seriously that’s most of this so I advise against reading it if that makes you uncomfortable.
Part one
When you saw the door move, your first thought was that it was a draft. You were already moving to close it when you saw Alucard standing in the doorframe. He seemed hesitant, and he stood there for a while, his hand lingering on the wood as he looked at you.
“Is there something wrong?” you asked, and you thought you saw him flinch, but those words seemed to push him to move.
He walked towards you and sat on your bed. You watched him, studying his expression. You couldn’t tell what was going on in his mind. It wasn’t the first time he had come into your room at night. He’d done it once before when you’d had a nightmare, and once because he had baked a cake and wanted to share it with you, but it clearly wasn’t what motivated him now.
“Ad—”
He kissed you without a warning.
It took you a moment to even understand what was happening. His lips were featherlight against yours at first, and you didn’t hesitate before pressing yourself against him more. He let out a satisfied, somewhat relieved sigh as his arms moved around you. Everything about it was soft, gentle, careful. Almost fearful.
He felt himself melting into you completely. You were pressing warm kisses against his mouth, pulling his lower lip between your teeth playfully, and your hands were running over his shoulders, setting his body aflame. He could have simply lost himself in you, and he did want to, but he’d— done that before. And it hadn’t exactly ended well for him.
He knelt on your bed, using his height to tower over you, still kissing you, and you let him push you onto your back. He took a second to look at you, to admire you. God, he loved the way you looked, loved the blush on your cheeks, loved the desire in your eyes.
But also, you looked like he probably did, that one night.
He kissed you, desperately trying to push the thoughts away. Some other time, you might have picked up on his reactions, understood something was wrong, but you were too focused on the sensations he was giving you to notice. He was kissing your neck, his fangs grazing against your skin deliciously, and his hands were moving up and down your body, over your chest at first, then caressing the inside of your thighs as he parted them gently, slowly, making you arch into him, then tantalizingly moving up to—
Then suddenly, his contact disappeared, his weight above you was gone, and your eyes, which you had closed in pleasure, snapped open.
“I can’t do this.”
You didn’t think for a second when you pushed yourself up and wrapped your arms around him in a tight hug. He was shaking, and you tightened your embrace, doing your best to ground him into reality, into this moment.
“It’s okay,” you said gently, settling your chin on his shoulders. “You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do, Adrian, it’s okay.”
“You don’t understand,” he whispered, voice trembling. “I want this. I want you. I just— I just can’t—”
His voice broke, and it was like your heart had been shattered into a million pieces. You couldn’t stand the pain he was in. You ached for him, and when his soft sobs filled the room, your fingers dug into him a little. You were angry, you were in pain, you felt utterly powerless. You wanted to help, but you had no idea what to do.
It didn’t last long, and he soon calmed down. You knew he didn’t like expressing sadness around others, whether it was you or other friends of his, and you could guess he wouldn’t be happy about it. Normally, you wouldn’t have pushed it, but you feared that you wouldn’t be able to broach the subject if you let it go just now.
“Talk to me,” you said when he pulled away, placing your hand on his cheek so you could meet his eyes.
He winced, and avoided your gaze, but you didn’t let go. After a few moments, he lifted his hand to place it on yours.
“There were two— persons, before you came here.”
Your mind immediately went to the bodies outside of the castle, and your breath caught in your throat. Surely—
“That’s— probably what you’re thinking about,” he said sadly, like he’d been reading your mind, though you guessed it was probably written on your face. “Taka and Sumi. They— I thought they wanted to learn about vampires so they could fight them better. I started training them, but— I… was selfish. I didn’t want to be alone here and I— maybe I tried to keep them here longer than—”
“Adrian,” you interrupted him, watching with horror as he seemed to shrink, shying away from you as he rambled about his guilt. “I know you. I know who you are. I cannot believe you have any responsibility in whatever happened to you.”
His eyes softened, and the saddest smile you had ever seen curved his lips.
“Of course you’d think that.”
You hated that. You hated that he couldn’t see you through your eyes, couldn’t really know how wonderful you thought he was.
“What happened?”
You didn’t want to press him for informations; you would have much preferred if he had told you himself, but he seemed reluctant to do that, and you didn’t think you’d be able to help him if you didn’t know.
“They— came into my room. They made love to me.” Your throat tightened. You had expected to feel jealous, but you didn’t. You were just horrified at the thought of what was to come. “They used silver bracelets on me to keep me from moving.”
The scars, you understood suddenly. You had always assumed they were from the fight against Dracula.
“They said I was lying to them. That I would betray them.” He swallowed. “They were going to kill me. So I killed them instead.”
There was a heavy silence when he stopped speaking, and breaking it was almost painful.
“Your sword?”
He nodded.
“I took two lives to save my own.” Then he had a bitter chuckle. “I didn’t have to kill them. I could have just incapacitated them, but I didn’t— think about that until later. A better person would have—”
“No!” you protested, with more energy than you’d meant to. He looked at you in surprise, and it made you feel a little awkward, but you couldn’t let him say that, or even think that about himself. “No, no, no, Adrian, you can’t— say that.” You lifted your second hand to cradle his face. “You must have been terrified. I don’t know how you even thought about calling for your sword.”
He removed your hands from his face, but he kept them in his.
“I acted to preserve my life. First, I killed my father, and then I did what he did. I murdered humans.”
You wanted to tell him that you didn’t care, that all that mattered was that he was here and alive now, but you knew he wouldn’t be able to hear that.
“Their lives had been so horrible,” he whispered. “Used, abused, toyed with and lied to by vampires. I should have known— I should have thought—”
“You shouldn’t have anything,” you said, trying to muffle your anger. It killed you that he blamed himself like that. “You’re a victim here. They should not have done that to you. It was horrible, and wrong, and…”
“That doesn’t mean they deserved to die.”
“Well neither did you.” You brought your hands, which he still held, to your lips, and kissed his knuckles. He tensed, briefly — the hands of a killer — and then his shoulders relaxed. “I’m sorry, Adrian.”
“I’m sorry, too,” he said. “I’ve been wanting to be with you for so long, and I just—”
“It’s okay. Really. I can— wait, if you want me to wait, and if you don’t want this, it’s fine too. I understand. I just want to help you.”
He sighed and pressed his forehead against yours.
“I don’t deserve you.”
You shook your head.
“I wish you could see yourself through my eyes. You’re probably the kindest— the best person I know.”
“Can I— stay here with you tonight? Even if we don’t—”
“Of course.”
There was another silence. Neither of you moved. Your arms were loosely wrapped around his shoulders, his hands were on your waist, and you didn’t want to move away, not just yet.
“Can I kiss you?”
His voice was barely more than a whisper, strangely strangled, and you were surprised to see he was blushing.
“You don’t even need to ask me for that,” you said with a genuine smile.
He leaned in and his lips brushed against yours. It wasn’t as feverish as before, but there was something very sensual about it, especially when his lips parted and his tongue slid in your mouth, exploring it with restraint. You resisted pulling him back for another kiss when he moved away from you. This was about him, and you would be doing it as his rhythm.
“Thank you,” he said.
You laid down, and he did the same next to you. This would take time. It wouldn’t heal miraculously, but you wanted to be there to help him, every step of the way. You moved to rest your head on his chest, and his arm very naturally wrapped around you. That brought a smile to his face. A small one, but a smile nonetheless.
Little by little, he believed he could fight his demons, with you by his side. Reconquer the space they had taken away from him. Until, finally, he would be able to hold you the way he wanted to, until guilt stopped eating him inside, until he could stand on his own without having to lean on you.
But for now, he simply wanted to enjoy the way you felt in his arms.
He closed his eyes.
He would get through this. Step by step. And he hoped he would be able to catch a glimpse of what he was like in your eyes.

Feeling Things
When Alucard awoke, he went into a panic. Feeling the two bodies lying either side of him dug something up that he had been trying to bury for quite some time now and, as he looked at you and Hector, all he saw were the bodies of Sumi and Taka.
Then, those faces changed back to your own, only blood was gushing from your necks as you lied there with your eyes open, completely unmoving. It had happened again. He was alone again. Or so he thought as he began to hyperventilate, clutching his heaving chest and feeling as though he were about to die.
Then, there was the feeling of a gentle hand on his back, pulling him back to reality.
"Alucard? Look at me, calm down. Please." You begged, trying to keep your voice calm in hopes of calming him.
When his eyes finally focused and his erratic breathing began to slow down, you let out a sigh of relief. His shaky eyes flitted to you, the icy fear within them melting the moment they saw you. You were okay. Then, his head snapped to Hector who was sitting to the other side of him, looking just as worried as you.
"What happened?" He asked, bringing a hand up to delicately brush stray strands of hair away from Alucard's face.
Alucard looked forwards once again, catching his breath as he calmed himself down only to feel tears building up all over again. As they began to roll down his cheeks, he lied back down and covered his face with his hands.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." He mumbled.
You and Hector exchanged a glance and lied back down beside him, both facing him from only inches away.
"It's alright." Hector soothed, placing a hand over Alucard's arm.
Then, it was your turn to reassure him, "You don't have anything you need to apologise for."
After a moment, Alucard moved his hands away from his face but still couldn't seem to bring himself to look either of you in the eye.
"If you're not ready to tell us then you don't have to, but know that we are here to listen when you are." Hector sighed, this thumb gently rubbing over the skin of Alucard's arm.
A silent moment passed while you all lied there until Alucard finally spoke, "It happened a few months before the two of you arrived."
You and Hector focused your full attention on him, ready to hear what he had to say but he paused again. He looked up at the ceiling, face looking somehow both full of sorrow but also void of emotion. Then, he took in a deep breath and continued.
"Their names were Sumi and Taka. They came here hoping to learn to hunt and kill the vampires who took their home... They were kind and full of hope. Their passion to take back their lives was admirable... but they grew impatient and had their trust in me faltered."
He went quiet again, his voice breaking ever so slightly as yet another tear dripped down the side of his face.
"They came to my bed and, when I was at my most vulnerable, they tried to kill me."
Silence yet again as you and Hector took in the trauma he spoke of, finally understanding why he found it so difficult to trust you when you first arrived. You just wanted to hug him again, to hold him and tell him everything was alright but, instead, you reached out and wiped his tears away with your thumb.
"Is that how you got the scars on your arm? From them? I- I'm sorry, I saw them before but I didn't want to ask in case you didn't want to talk about it." Your voice was careful, hesitant, you were unsure of whether you should have asked about them or even brought them up.
He turned his head to you, his golden hair bunching on the pillow beside you as he nodded, "They're not just on my arms. They're everywhere. My arms, legs, chest, back. The scars that haunt me are on every inch of my body just reminding me what they did... and what I did to them."
Hector tenderly turned Alucard's face towards him and tried to offer him a reassuring smile, "It wasn't your fault. None of it was. They hurt you, they tried to kill you. You did what you had to Alucard. You're not the one to blame."
"I- I just wish it could have turned out differently. Maybe if I hadn't tried to delay their teaching then they might have believed me and returned to their home safely. I... I just didn't want to be alone anymore..." He broke down all over again, his hands once again coming up to catch his tears.
"You're not alone, Alucard. You never will be again, I promise you." With your words, he turned back to you with a sad smile.
Hector wrapped an arm around him and hugged him tight, "We're not going anywhere."
You too leaned closer, resting your head on Alucard's shoulder. The three of you sat in silence for a moment until Alucard's tears stopped falling. Then, Hector decided it was his turn.
"I went through something similar... when I was being held prisoner at Carmilla's castle. There was a woman, a vampire. Lenore. She tricked me, manipulated me into thinking she cared about me when all she wanted was my loyalty."
It surprised you to hear Hector speak her name, especially when you knew the sheer mention of her made him feel sick to his stomach. Alucard too seemed surprised that Hector was sharing his experience with him. He didn't know what exactly had happened before you wound up at his castle but he knew it was bad, he could see the pain reflecting in both of your eyes, especially Hector's. A pain that mirrored his own. It was one of the reasons he let you stay and the main reason he gave Hector a chance in the first place.
"She tricked me into sleeping with her and turned me into a slave. A pet." Hector spat and you could hear the bitterness in his voice.
"I'm sorry." Alucard sighed but nonetheless sounded grateful that Hector also trusted him enough to confide in him as he had just moments before.
Hector shook his head and sat up, climbing out of the bed, "It doesn't matter now. What happened, happened. What matters right now is that we're safe and we're away from there. No to mention, we have each other and Alexander. None of us are alone, not anymore."
You climbed out of the bed just after, following Hector in getting dressed. Alucard smiled, knowing that you were not like Sumi and Taka but more like Trevor and Sypha. You were his friends, his companions, and you weren't going anywhere anytime soon.
"Adrian."
When he spoke, both you and Hector turned to him looking confused and so, he explained, "It's my name. My birth name. I think- I think I want to use it again."
You both smiled and nodded before going back to getting dressed. Adrian left to give you some privacy, although neither of you minded his presence there. When you were done, he was already dressed and making breakfast for everyone, including a little bowl for Cezar.
By the time Alexander and Cezar came down to the kitchen, seemingly following the smell of a deliciously cooked breakfast, everything was neatly laid out on the table just waiting for you to eat it. The boy smiled and sat down at the table, noticing the brighter atmosphere surrounding the rest of you.
Once you had all eaten, Adrian went fishing for dinner. He took Alexander with him as the boy seemed eager to lend a hand and go on an outing. Not that you could blame him, being cooped up inside this castle, no matter how large it is, can be a bit much. He will surely enjoy the trip and you had no doubt that they'd come home with enough fish for dinner.
When they left, you and Hector went to the study. Cezar followed at Hector's heels, happy to follow his master around once again after looking after Alexander for so long.
Hector used the magic you had taught him to light the fire, warming away the draft that had crept in over the night, while you browsed the shelves for a good book to read.
"I'm glad Alu- Adrian is doing better. Last night and this morning seemed to help." Hector stated, pulling his shoes off to warm his feet by the fire.
You smiled, "Me too. I'm glad we could provide at least some comfort to him."
When you found a book that piqued your interest, you walked over and sat on the floor by Hector. Cezar was already in his lap, tail wagging happily as Hector scratched behind his ears.
"y/n."
Sensing the seriousness in Hector's voice when he said your name, you closed the book you had only just opened and turned to him. Your eyes alone beckoned him to continue and so, with a sigh, he did.
"I think... I think I'm feeling things I shouldn't be."
Your brows furrowed, "What do you mean?"
He looked away from you, almost as if he was afraid to look you in the eyes, "I love you, you know that but-"
Another pause as he sucked in a breath.
"Nothing is going to make me think you love me any less, nor will anything you're about to say change how I feel about you." You reassured and, although his tense muscles relaxed a little, he still seemed somewhat uneasy.
He hung his head, curtains of silver hair covering his honeyed face, "I think I'm feeling things- something- for Alucard... I know it's completely wrong and I shouldn't be. I mean, he's a man and a vampire and- and just a friend but-"
"I know what you mean." You sighed, leaning your head onto his shoulder.
He looked down at you, somewhat startled, "Y- You do?"
You nodded and reached for his hand, entwining your fingers with his as you continued, "He's charming and broken... just like us. Handsome, we're both jealous of his hair, not to mention he's the sweetest little vampire I've ever met."
"S- So you feel it too?"
Hector seemed to feel less guilty about his straying thoughts and feelings when you admitted to being in the same boat as him. Even going as far as to listing the reasons you too were feeling something for the vampire.
"I don't love him. Not like I do you, not yet. But... I won't deny that even I've noticed this thing between the three of us."
Hector breathed a sigh of relief, "Thank God. I thought you were going to think I was going insane."
You chuckled and reached for your book, turning your body so that you were sitting with your back against Hector, "It's not insane to care about someone, Hector."
The two of you sat quietly for a while. You just read your book, enjoying the tales about dragons and knights. Hector seemed more at ease but it was clear he still had a lot to think about. He wasn't, it seemed, as open to these things he was feeling. It was clear he wanted to at least try and make sense of things or perhaps he was simply allowing his thoughts a rest as he watched the crackling fire.
Not long after lunch, Adrian and the boy had returned with plenty of fish for dinner.
"You should have seen him, Alexander is a natural." Adrian beamed, ruffling the boy's hair as he placed the fish down on the table.
Of course, Alexander just grinned and, unexpectedly ran over to hug you. It wasn't so strange for him to hug you but it was strange for him to hug you seemingly without reason. Perhaps it was his new way of greeting you upon his return as he couldn't do it verbally. Whatever the reason, he soon also eagerly hugged Hector and then ran off to play with Cezar.
"He seems happy." Hector stated with a smile as he pulled out a chair to sit down.
You took the fish and put them into the sink in order to wash them before you would prepare them for dinner.
"He liked it. Going out, doing something new. It's good for him." Adrian stated, wiping down the table with a cloth to clean up the mess he had made by initially putting the fish there.
Once you finished cleaning the fish, you decided to leave them in the sink for a moment to talk to the two men who sat chatting around the table. You pulled out a chair and sat with them, turning to Adrian with your arms resting on the table.
He just looked at you for a moment, seemingly questioning what you were looking at him for but, before he could ask, you turned to Hector.
"I have a proposal." You declared, looking back at Adrian and then from him to Hector once more.
They both looked confused, looking at each other to see if the other knew what you were going on about but, when clearly neither of them had a clue, they looked back at you.
"Um... What is it?" Adrian asked, tilting his head curiously towards you.
"Well, a proposal and a confession." You admitted, although they both simply looked at you with the same blank expressions as before whilst waiting for you to elaborate.
You sighed and turned to Hector, "You know what we talked about earlier? In the study?"
He nodded slowly, eyes almost worriedly snapping to Adrian and then back to you.
"I have an idea," Your head then turned to Adrian, "How do you feel about sharing our bed again tonight?"
He furrowed his brows but answered nonetheless, "Well, I wouldn't hate it. Sleeping beside the two of you last night was probably the best sleep I've had in months. It was... comforting."
"I'm glad it was nice for you," You smiled sincerely, "But this time I was thinking maybe we could... make things more intimate?"
It seemed to take him a moment to catch on to what you were implying, the cogs turning in his brain until finally, something clicked.
"O- Of course, if you don't want to then we don't have to. I know you probably don't have anything good to associate with that kind of thing after what you went through and- God, maybe it was a terrible idea to suggest it. It's just that Hector and I like you, we really like you, and we want to understand just how far those feelings go." You rambled, suddenly worried that it was not a good idea to bring this idea up. You didn't want to make Adrian or Hector uncomfortable but you wanted to at least explore this, especially after hearing Hector's own feelings earlier on.
Adrian's hands settled on your shoulders, thumbs rubbing gently against you as if to soothe you, "It's alright."
Then, he looked at Hector, their eyes met for a moment before he lifted his hands from you and looked back into yours, "I- I trust you. Both of you. So, if this is something you both want, then I won't reject the offer. Anyway, I also have some things I want to confirm."
The two of you turned to Hector, waiting for his input on the matter with expecting eyes.
He breathed in, then out, before smiling softly at the two of you with a slight nod of his head, "I want to as well."
Just like that, the three of you had made your decision. Whether you would go through with it or not was another matter.

Oh my gosh hiiii Mel! Thank you so much for these!! This'll be a long post so I'll do a read more for some of the asks!
I'll answer for Alucard!
Pre-ship:
1. How did they first meet?
-After being cast out of my village for "witchcraft", the castle was the first building I was able to find. Exhausted after spending days in the forest, I looked past the warning signs of death outside and pounded on the door till it opened for me. Adrian wasn't too happy to have someone barge into his home, I thought he would be the one to end me, but after hearing my story he allowed me to live in the castle for one year in which after I would be on my own. And well, things turned out very differently.
3. Did friends or family want you two together?
-Trevor and Sypha returned to the castle some months after I arrived, so Adrian and I were already somewhat close and we both had buried feelings. The duo knew Adrian well and could see the way he acted around me, and after getting to know me, started to put two and two together. Both Adrian and I confided in them about our feelings, and no matter how much they wanted to spill the truth and just see us get together, they didn't want to break any promises or force anything.
General:
3. What was their first kiss like?
-I've been living with Adrian for about ten months now, with how close we become my year time limit has been lifted and I can stay as long as I please. We've confessed our feelings sometime before this, but we took things slow. We've both been hurt in the past and we're afraid moving too fast could do harm instead of good. But tonight, we're both feeling a little brave.
-Adrian invites me to sleep in his bed tonight and I accept. We sit on the edge of the bed, both a little nervous to lay down together. After a bit of silence, Adrian leans in and, in a whisper, asks if could he kiss me. I say yes, and he does. Our first was a little awkward, we're both stiff and nervous. But our second is softer, warmer, two smiles pressed together, my hands cupping his cold cheeks. There were a few tears, but the night ends peacefully as we fall asleep together, his head resting on my chest.
8. Who gets jealous easier?
-Honestly, that would be me, but not by much. We don't go very far from the castle and really the only people we see are Trevor and Sypha. I will admit the first time the came to visit I was worried he held feelings for one or both of them. But this was short lived.
Love:
3. Who uses cheesy pick up lines?
-We both kind do this. Things along the lines of "You know what you would look really beautiful in? My arms" "Your hand looks heavy—can I hold it for you?" or my favorite he says to me "If you're here, is heaven missing an angel?" which, maybe there's a reason he says that ;3.
12. What kinda nicknames do you give each other?
-Somewhat standard petnames. (My) Love, (my) darling, my prince. I like to call him honey, and he likes to call my his angel.
Domestic life-
10. Who is the better cook?
-OKAY. I'm a good cook. I'll admit that. But no matter how good of a cook I am, Adrian is better. I don't know how he does it, he just is! Yeah I'm just a little pissy about, just a little.
11. Who likes to dance?
-Adrian likes dancing, and he's good at it. I pretty much have two left feet, but he doesn't mind.

You were laughing, chasing your friends. The meadow was full this year. Full of yellow flowers glowing in the sunshine. It smelled sweet and inviting. You partook the invitation, laying down against the soft petals and enjoying the pleasant breeze. Everything, your life, was normal. It was all plain and simple before him.
“You write stories about lovers in the moonlight?” Your friend from the village cackled as she huffed and puffed from all the running. She twisted her hair into a bun, removing her hair from her sticky neck. “I wonder what you’re family thinks of you?”
“Give it back Lilya!” You sprinted after your friend, trying to grab your journal away from her grasp. “You must give it back!”
“I mustn't do a thing! You dropped your cheesy book and I simply glanced at it and read some parts. They are actually very good so don’t worry about that.”
“That’s not what I’m worried about.” You muttered under your breath.
“Hello everyone. Am I late to the party?” Your other friend trudged up the hill to where you two were at.
“Michael! What a pleasant surprise! I didn’t think you were going to come all this way,” you smiled at your dear friend.
Michael blushed with you and sheepishly scratched behind his head. “Well I couldn’t leave you two here stranded. Did you hear though that there is a suspicions castle lurking within the woods? People talk and they say its haunted or Dracula’s. I think its an abandoned old tower but people like to make stories.” Michael laughed. “Nobody dares to go near it though.”
“And why does this matter to me?” You picked up your basket full of flowers and other items as you were on your way to go back home.
Michael smirked, “you think you’re so tough y/n. I dare you to check out that castle. Its not far from here.”
“Me?” You pointed to yourself. Then laughed a hearty laugh. “Are you serious? I’m not wasting my time on a stupid castle that probably belongs to mice and birds. Get your head out of your arse Michael.”
“Its cause you’re a chicken, y/n. You’re too scared!” Lilya slapped her knee and bellowed out into a fit of giggles. “You’re not so tough after all.”
The two kept making fun of you.
“Hey. I know what will make her go.” Lilya raised her brow. “Watch this.” She threw your journal far into the forest.
“Hey! What was that for?” You yelled, angry at your friend.
“If you care about it that much I suppose you better go after it.”
With a huff you set off going after your book. Word gets around in your tiny village. People know you. If they found that journal who knows what they would say about you.
With much looking and digging you were starting to lose hope and you were tired and very much hungry. The sun was setting already and you were about to call it quits when you were met with the castle Michael was talking about earlier. “Whoa.” You trudged further in. Crows were cawing as you saw the eeriness the building displayed. It was broken and did truly look abandoned. Your heart began to pound as you closed your eyes. Inhaling the green grass and soil. You were trembling. Yes, indeed you were scared. But you couldn’t let anybody know that, not even God. So with determination you repeated the phrase, “I’m not scared” over and over again. “I can totally do this.” You raised your fist in the air and knocked hard on the huge door. It echoed and sounded even more terrifying. Time passed and no one opened the door. Your shoulders slumped as you laughed. “See I told you Michael. No one lives here.” When you opened your eyes and looked to the door again the door was peeked open a little and what was only shown were two bright pastel yellow eyes peeking in the darkness. You shrieked at the scene. It was only eyes that shown and they were big and wide, staring at you.
“What do you want?” A deep voice echoed.
“Me? I swear I don’t want any trouble. I was dared to come here. I swear!” You were backing away.
The man kept coming closer and closer and closer until his whole body showed. “You were dared?”
Your body fell against the rock and your face was greeted with the setting sun. In that moment the stranger couldn’t catch his breath. His heart sped at a fast pace and he had butterflies in his stomach. His eyes widened and he knew you were meant to be here. You were meant to be his.
The sun’s rays shone within your eyes creating almost a halo around them and around you. “Yes. People think this place is haunted, sir. Or abandoned. I didn’t want to seem like a p*ssy so I knocked and then well here I am. Please don’t kill me! If you want kill my friends, they are the idiots that want to mess with you.”
The man knelt down and smiled at you. He granted you his hand and chuckled, “my dear I’m not going to hurt you. I’m Alucard, Dracula’s son. This is my castle. And I don’t mind visitors.”
You were puzzled. He was very kind. “Oh. I’m y/n l/n. Sorry for being a bit forward there. You see I’m in a bit of a hiccup. I have a very important book or journal that is mine and it was thrown in the woods. I’m trying to find it but its no where to be found. Have you seen it?”
“Sorry,” Alucard tilted his head. “Can’t say that I have. I do hope you find this precious book of yours.” Alucard was sultry and his words were whispers that sent shivers down your spine. God you wanted him! He was sexy and very handsome. You almost wanted to thank Michael and Lilya for this. You were bashful and a complete embarrassed mess.
“Alright, well sorry for knocking and I do hope you have a good day.” You got up and were about to run for it when Alucard grabbed you by the arm. His sniffed the air trying to smell your scent and keep it in his memory forever. “Please, um will I see you again?” He looked as sad as a puppy.
You grinned. You were single and you loved romance and Alucard was just so beautiful who could say no? “Yes, I think you will. How about-” Your foot slipped on the rock and you were about to fall but Alucard saved you. He caught you.
“It seems as you may need protecting.” Alucard’s dashing looks made you want to kiss him as he raised his brow. “Good thing I’m here.”
“Why yes! Good thing.” You stood up and coughed. “Well as I was saying how about I come here tomorrow? We could have tea or whatever you fancy?”
“Tomorrow would be lovely.”
Alucard watched you leave and that night you laid in bed thinking about your perfect stranger and how much you liked him already. You were a fool and ignorant but you believed in love.
Alucard smirked as he went back inside in his castle and resting on his desk was nothing other than your journal. “So this pretty little thing is yours my sweet y/n. I shall do everything it says in here for you. You write about kisses and romance in the moonlight then I shall fulfill that desire within you my dear girl. No more will you feel lonely like me. Our two souls have finally found each other. They have been searching all this time and now finally they are one.” Alucard sat and read your journal. Keeping his little secret.
After that day you and Alucard saw each other day. You were practically glowing. He made you feel special and like he was the missing piece to the puzzle you call life. You were head over heels for him. He always said the right things and he kissed you like he was thinking about your lips all night. He held you at night like you were his world. You two were inseparable. You even told your friends a little about him. Lilya was happy for you but Michael was angry and against it all. He thought it was odd that he never heard of this man and that he was a stranger. He was scared for you but you didn’t care. Alucard meant too much to you.
“My friends want to meet you.” You walked hand in hand in the village market. Alucard was an amazing cook and he loved to cook you whatever you wanted.
“Friends? You’ve never told me you had friends.” Alucard bit his lip and rolled his eyes. “Who are your friends?”
“Whoa one question at a time. I do have friends. Only two. One is Lilya she is like my sister and the other is Michael now he is-”
“Michael? As in a man named Michael? As in he is only your friend?” Alucard seemed annoyed and angry.
“Yes? Is there something wrong? You sound a bit jealous. Trust me when I tell you there is nothing going on between me and him. We are only friends.” You peered at the oranges on display.
“I’ve just only heard about this now. Why did you keep this from me? I thought you were lonely like me?”
You were starting to get confused as to why Alucard was being so judgmental. “Alucard whats gotten into you? Sometimes people can be lonely and still have friends. Sometimes loneliness never leaves you no matter what. But you cured my loneliness. And I’m sorry I kept it from you. I really thought I told you about my friends.”
“Have you told your friends about me?”
“Yes of course!”
“And what do they think?” Alucard leaned against the stall of beer.
“Lilya thinks the world of you and Michael is warming up to you.”
Alucard dug his strong fingers into the wood of the stall, breaking pieces off. “So he dislikes me?”
“No, I think he just tries to act all mean and rude but I think once he gets to meet you I think the two of you will hit it off great.”
“Sure..” Alucard squeezed an apple like it was nothing and shook with anger. “I just don’t want no one to come between you and me.”
You held onto him, hugging his waist. “And no one will. However did you start this thinking?”
Alucard was quiet, he said in a low voice, “I was taken advantage of by many people. People are in my life and then they drop me and leave me. They always leave me. I have had to kill my father which was the hardest thing to do. My mother is no longer alive and my friends have all left me. I sometimes fear the thought of having nothing but then I realize that that is my reality. I have nothing and nobody loves me.”
You felt so bad and could sense Alucard was being sincere and he was opening up to you about something traumatic. You placed your hand on his arm and smiled up at him. “That’s not true. I love you.”
Alucard didn’t notice a tear trail down his pale cheek but he knew you were the one. You were his and you were the best thing in his life. “You are my life y/n. You are mine. I swear I will never let anyone hurt you. I will protect you from everyone and anything.”
You could sense that Alucard was nervous from the way his legs bounced. His eyes were darting back and forth from the entrance to the dinner table.
You hugged Alucard and kissed his cheek, “its okay my prince. They are going to love you.”
Alucard nodded and sipped some of his wine.
“Hey!” Came a high pitched voice.
You and Alucard stood up and you hugged your friend Lilya. “So this is Alucard.”
Lilya winked at you as she hugged Alucard and mouthed “he’s cute.”
Then Michael came in. Michael had a look of annoyance. You were confused as to why he seemed angry. You didn’t know this but Alucard saw this as well and his face darkened at this Michael friend.
“Hey,” Michael said gloomy as he half hugged you.
Alucard stuck his hand out for a handshake but Michael ignored him.
“We brought gifts!” Lilya shouted to try to break the awkwardness.
The dinner was slow but fun. Lilya was the one who was the most talkative. You could tell and so could Alucard. Michael was quiet and just kept giving you glances. You gushed about Alucard and how much you loved him but Alucard was quiet as well. Michael’s eyes would meet Alucard’s and it would frighten Michael. They were dark and angry. Alucard licked his lips to show off his teeth and Michael shot up quick. “Y/n, can I talk to you for a second. Privately, please.”
You raised your brow and nodded. Alucard tried to stop you but you were too fast. Alucard was getting annoyed by Michael.
Michael paused around a corner and in a hushed voice said, “I have a bad feeling about this guy.”
“What do you mean Michael? He’s perfect! He’s sweet to me and he really likes me. Why can’t you be happy for me? You’ve had this face the whole time.”
Michael shook his head, “I’m just worried for you y/n. You mean a lot to me. I can’t stand to see you get hurt. Besides, he’s really scary. You’re my favorite person in this whole world. I think you should just leave him for someone that is going to worship you and take care of you.”
You rolled your eyes. “And who would that be?”
Michael inched closer to you and kissed you.
“What the f*ck?” Alucard was horrified. It was like his past was repeating itself again.
“Alucard I swear nothing is going on.” You quickly separated yourself from Michael, wiping your lips. “I promise, we’re just friends.”
“I didn’t know friends kiss now,” Alucard’s voice was deep and terrifying.
“It was me. I’m the one who kissed her. I think you don’t deserve her. She’s too good for you.” Michael pointed an accusatory finger.
“I knew you were trouble,” Alucard muttered, cracking his neck. “I and y/n deserve each other. We are meant to be. You don’t have the right or say to what y/n chooses and she chooses me!” Alucard’s temper was rising. “I swear if you touch her again, if you think about her, if you try to mess with our relationship you will wish you would have never met me.”
Lilya stumbled upon the scene and her eyes widened to the threats Alucard was making. Alucard gave you one last glance and ran away. Nobody was going to take you away from him. No friend, no man, not even God. He was surely going to make sure of that.
The night was quiet. It was windy and but quiet.
Alucard made a decision. He didn’t care about anyone else. He only cared about you and him.
Alucard snuck in his house. His eyes were dark and his thought was only about you. He didn’t want to hurt no one and this wasn’t really hurting you. You didn’t need them. You needed Alucard and he needed you.
Michael laid in his bed, sleeping calmly. Alucard creeped up on him. He was stealthy, almost like a lion with is prey. Alucard hated this man. He hated how he looked at you. He hated that he kissed you. He hated Michael and Michael needed to go. Alucard raised his sword high in the air and as quick as he stuck it in Michael’s chest Michael’s eyes grew wide open and once they were full of life now they were dark and empty. Alucard repeatedly stabbed Michael. A million thoughts raced in his mind. He cried because half of him knew he wasn’t raised to be like this but he laughed because half of him didn’t care and all that mattered was you.
Just then someone knocked on the door and Alucard saw it was you and Lilya. He tried to move so you wouldn’t see him but too late you did.
“Alucard? What the h*ll are you doing in here?” You were now concerned and were second guessing Alucard.
“Michael!” Lilya screamed.
“Oh no,” your lips trembled when Michael didn’t answer.
Lilya busted down the door and quickly went in search for Michael. Michael was bleeding to death on his bed. You and Lilya shrieked a high pitch shrieked of pure terror. You two cried and you knew this was Alucard.
Quickly Lilya knew you two were in danger. “We got to go y/n. Its not safe here. Alucard is not safe.” A sword was stuck through the back of Lilya’s skull and forced through to come out of her mouth.
You fell in silence. Completely shocked and crying. This whole time you believed in Alucard and trusted him. Now he just murdered your two friends.
“I’m sorry y/n you had to see all this but I can’t let them get in between us. They were going to separate us y/n. You don’t want that, right?” Alucard’s eyes widened and now he was getting more and more insane. His sword was soaked with Lilya and Michael’s blood.
“You’re crazy!” You screamed. Tears flooding down your face.
“No my love. You and I are meant to be together. We are in love. Now we can live on without no one interfering. We can finally be happy and never be lonely.” Alucard grabbed you and kissed you forcefully. You grabbed a vase and grabbed a shard to stab Alucard. Alucard jerked and dropped you. You crawled back and could see the sadness in Alucard’s eyes. “Why did you do that?” He touched the wound and the blood seeping through his shirt. “I thought you loved me?” Tears fell from his face.
“I did Alucard, but no more.” You got up and ran to the door. You were almost out but Alucard grabbed his sword and in a flash everything you saw went black.
With tears in his eyes. Alucard set up everything in front of his castle. Again he was hurting and again he was let down. People went against him, you, the love of his life went against him and you paid the price.
Alucard set up Lilya, Michael and you as a head post. He went to your decapitated head and lightly kissed your cold, lifeless lips, crying. “I will always love you y/n. You will always be here with me and no one will separate us.”

This is the second in a series of drabbles I’m writing at the request of an anonymous asker who wanted something nice for Holland Vosijk. This one got long, so I’ve posted it up at AO3, but I put the first part here. Oh... these people are silly. They were a flock. No… a swarm.
Holland stared with dismay at the crowd of nobility in the grand ballroom of the Maresh palace, even this gigantic open space seemingly crammed with everyone that had half a drop of noble blood in the whole damn empire.
Why was he here?
Right.
He’d been invited.
He’d been invited for the prince’s birthing day celebration, and there was literally nothing he’d rather be doing less than this, so of course the Danes had insisted on it. They claimed they wanted him to spy and bring back information, but Astrid had smiled when she saw him off in a way that made him think she just enjoyed watching Holland uncomfortably shifting his weight from foot to foot in the outfit they’d put him in.
“Remember,” She’d said softy as he kissed her hand with mechanical obedience, “This is a test. Tell me everything you see the Maresh family doing tonight.”
A trial run. A test. And no one need ever be the wiser.
He hoped that her test would fail, and she would see nothing, because he looked ridiculous and felt even worse.
He was out of fashion compared to the bright and colorful styles of everyone around him, but how could he be in fashion? He’d never worn their kinds of clothing before, and he hadn’t cared all that much about clothing in the first place. Astrid had chosen for him a deep black, high-necked, long-sleeved shirt with a notch at the neck and matching black pants. Daggers had been embroidered into each side of the collar of his shirt, along with a design that seemed like vines. Silver thread was also woven in, here and there, in the fabric itself. It gave every step he made the slightest hint of a glimmer under the lights. Astrid had even insisted he… do something to his hair.
So he’d done the only thing he knew how to do and combed it.
He looked like a well-dressed wraith compared to all these flushed, healthy, happy people, and he hated every single one of them for it.
Except for the woman by the column in the corner. Holland did not hate her.
He’d been watching her for a while. She looked bored, and sort of unhappy, and scowled in a way he found familiar and sort of distressingly amusing. Her black hair was braided down her back and she wore a deep red dress that set off her dark skin, but other than that, she was noticeably less… shiny… than everyone else.
She was also beautiful.
“You’re staring,” A cheerful warm voice said to his left, and Holland nearly fell over onto the floor with surprise. “Oh, sorry, I thought you knew I was there,” the prince of the Maresh empire said quickly, grabbing him by one arm to keep him standing. “Most people see me coming, you know.”
“Right,” Holland said uncomfortably, shifting slightly away. Rhy did not let go of his arm. His eyes were already sparkling with wine and the joy of the evening, his hair was tousled in a way that suggested someone else had been touching it, and Holland considered just punching him and getting himself thrown into prison to get out of this incredibly awkward moment entirely. “I was-”
“Distracted, I know. By the staring. She’s my older cousin, d’you know that?” Rhy was wearing bright vermillion, the color of the empire, with his gold circlet too far to one side where it settled atop his head.
Of course she fucking is.
“Great. I’ll be going-”
“Oh no you won’t. I’ve been watching you wander around like a lost deer all night, you should go have some fun. Go talk to her, Holland!”
He tried to fix an icy stare on the prince but it faltered and he glanced back over the girl, who had not moved. “I wouldn’t even know where to begin.” Was he admitting to that out loud? To Rhy Maresh?
“Ask her if she wants a drink, you dolt. That’s where I’d start. Well, mostly I just have to introduce myself and they start asking me if I want a drink, but you know. If I weren’t me, that’s how I’d start.”
“Rhy, what the hell are you doing?” The voice piped up from Rhy’s other side and Holland actually groaned out loud.
“Kell! I was just helping Holland with a personal problem.”
“Your Highnesses, I must be going-”
“Hang on, wait. What kind of problem?” Kell squinted at him, eyes narrowed in suspicion. He was wearing a faded green shirt fairly similar to Holland’s, actually, in that it had actual sleeves and structure and was terribly out of fashion compared to everyone else, and Holland thought about telling him he looked like an angry lizard just to see what happened. “What kind of personal problem would Holland want your help with?”
“There is no kind of problem I need Rhy’s help with,” Holland said smoothly, trying to detach himself gracefully. “I was merely looking around-”
“Delia. He needs our help to talk to Delia. He likes her.”
“I do not like her, I do not even know her-... her name is Delia?” He glanced back at the woman, who had not moved. Delia suited her. She looked like a Delia, someone pretty and sort of delicate but headstrong, too. He even liked her scowl, which hadn’t budged off her face. Where had he seen a scowl like that before?
“He likes Delia? But she’s always frowning.”
“He likes Delia,” Rhy confirmed, nodding with cheerful importance. “And you’re always frowning, too, I might add.”
“I am not always frowning.”
“What else do you ever do, Kell?”
“I smile!”
“When?”
Holland was getting a headache. “You are both children. I have things I need to be doing, I’ll just take my leave-”
“Oh no you won’t,” Rhy grinned at him, all white teeth and shining generous warmth and friendliness, sliding his arm through Holland’s like they were old friends. I wish I had something to stab you with, Holland thought helplessly. “We’re going to help you meet her.”
“Rhy! We are not! I’m not helping Holland meet women here!”
“Why not? Are you jealous?”
Kell’s face went as red as his hair and Holland couldn’t stop himself from staring. He hadn’t even known a human face could turn that color. “Of course not! Because he’s… he works for… you know. He’s not… from here,” Kell finished, in a voice like an injured horse slowly limping over a finish line.
“Oh, Kell,” Rhy said pityingly. “Was that seriously the best you could do? He’s not from here? Neither are half of our guests!”
“Pretty rude reason,” Holland said, enjoying watching Kell’s face twist with anger hearing him.
“You’re the one who didn’t want Rhy’s help! I’m trying to get you out of it!”
“Oh, be nice. Holland never gets to have any fun.”
“You don’t know that,” Holland said, but his voice sounded flat and unconvincing even to him.
“Of course I do. You come from the land of People Who Never Have Fun. So relax tonight! Kell and I will help you talk to Delia!”
“I will do no such thing,” Kell snapped. “I’m not going to help Holland Vosijk meet girls.” Then, with what he probably thought was great dignity and offense, Kell stomped away into the crowd. (Click the link for more Kell, Holland, and Rhy silliness - plus pre-ADSOM Alucard Emery makes a cameo)

Day 18: Loneliness - Alucard
- The Year of our Lord 1154 -
Being a vampire came with many advantages, but it also came with its disadvantages as well. As the years passed, Alucard found himself increasingly lonely, a feeling that he had only developed after the death of his son. He had no family left … No, that wasn’t entirely correct. His son had left him four beautiful grandchildren, who now all had children of their own as well. The Belmont Bloodline was very much still alive, but he was no longer a part of it.
Out of all of his grandchildren, only the oldest, Christopher, was aware of the truth of his grandfather, as well as his great-grandfather. Alucard had made the effort to watch over his grandson for a while, but that all ended when he caught on to his presence. Christopher made it clear to him that he did not want anything to do with his vampiric relations, vowing to kill him when next they met. Alucard accepted his grandson’s wishes and had stayed away ever since.
And so, night after night he wandered the Romanian forests aimlessly, his only companions being the wild beasts that he hunted. By day, he would hide deep within caves where no man dared venture and curl up to sleep. It was a routine that he quickly grew weary of, but he didn’t know what else to do. It seemed that this was his fate.
They say that loneliness often drives men to desperation, and so it proved true for him. He began to crave companionship, remembering memories of long ago when he was human with a wife and son. Above all, he craved love as he remembered his wife’s final words to him before she descended into heaven. He could sense that the love in his heart was starting to vanish, and that frightened him. His greatest fear was that he would lose all remnants of humanity, and become succumb to the monster within.
One day he came across a tiny village nestled deep within the forest, far enough away from the brotherhood that he felt he could approach without being in danger. He watched the inhabitants for months on end in an attempt to remind himself what it was like to be loved. However, that only made him feel jealous … Jealous of all the men who were able to embrace their wives … Jealous of all the fathers who were able to kiss their children goodnight. They had everything that had been stolen from him.
Before long the jealousy became too much for him to handle and so he conjured up a plan to put an end to his eternal misery once and for all. After months of observing the village, he had come to recognize every single one of its inhabitants. There was one in particular that stood out to him though. Living on the outskirts of the village with her elderly grandmother was a nineteen-year-old woman with long red hair. Her name was unknown to him, but he was drawn to her none-the-less, most likely because she reminded him of his lost love.
Every evening the red-headed woman would venture out to the well not too far away with a wooden pail to fetch water for her grandmother’s bath. Alucard followed her that evening, remaining out of sight. No sooner had she reached the well and started to lower her pail into it, then he stepped out from hiding.
“A beautiful young lady such as yourself should not venture out into the woods alone,” he spoke at last.
At the sound of his voice, the woman jumped, losing her grip on the rope she was holding as she spun around, her eyes scanning through the darkness for a few moments before spotting him.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t see you there,” she said. “I appreciate your concern, good sir, but there is nothing life-threatening in these woods. I come out here often and not once have I encountered any danger.”
“There’s always a first time for everything,” he warned her.
She simply smiled at him. “Well, I’m sure I’ll be alright now that you’re here.”
After a moment, she returned to her previous task, retrieving the rope and pulling on it to bring the pail back up. While she did so, Alucard took the opportunity to draw closer to her until he was standing directly behind her. He noticed her form stiffen, without a doubt noticing his sudden closeness.
“Is there something I can help you with, sir?” she asked. “Do you want me to fetch some water for you as well?”
“You can help me by ending my eternal loneliness,” he whispered in her ear.
In the blink of an eye, the woman found herself pinned back against a tree, standing face to face with Alucard, finally able to see his face. At the sight of his glowing yellow eyes and protruding fangs, she let out a scream, but it was soon muffled as Alucard clamped a hand over her mouth.
“The only way to do that is to create for myself a companion who is also immortal. Someone who won't die before my eyes … someone whom I can love forever.”
After a few moments, the young woman stopped struggling. Alucard wasn't exactly paying attention though, as his mind was consumed by the prospect of having a companion. Removing his hand from her mouth, he quickly removed his gauntlet, tossing it aside before sinking his teeth into the tender flesh of his wrist. However, he did not consume any of the blood that spilled out.
The moment he noticed blood, he pulled his fangs out and pressed the open wound to the woman's lips. Though he had never seen it done before, he knew by vampiric instinct that this was how people were turned into vampires.
Though she did not struggle against him, she kept her lips firmly shut, forcing the blood to drip down her chin rather than enter her mouth. She simply stood there, staring into his eyes, her look of fear eventually giving way to sorrow.
With a nod of the head, Alucard noticed her lips start to open, and he realized that she was finally agreeing to become his companion. He should have felt happy. He should have felt relieved that his solitude was about to come to an end, but he didn't. Instead, he felt an overwhelming sense of guilt wash over him.
“Don't do this, Trevor. This is not who you are.” A voice suddenly entered his head.
He knew that voice anywhere. It belonged to Sypha.
At that moment, it was as if his eyes were opened to what exactly he was doing. As quickly as he could, he pulled his wrist away from the woman's lips. Though the lower half of her face was covered in blood, none had entered her mouth. She was safe …
His body began to tremble uncontrollably as everything about the situation sunk in. He had nearly stolen the humanity of an innocent young woman, condemning her to the same wretched fate as him. How could he have possibly been so selfish? Surely he must be a monster, no different than his father, for even considering it.
Unable to support himself, he crumpled to the ground in a heap of sobs. “I'm sorry!” he cried out. “I'm so sorry!”
The apology was meant for both his beloved Sypha in heaven as well as the woman before him.
He expected the woman to run from him, screaming in fright, but much to his surprise, she did not. Instead, she did the last thing he could have possibly imagined. Kneeling before him, she reached her arms out and wrapped him in her embrace, cradling his head against her chest as he sobbed.
“It's okay,” she soothed. “I forgive you.”
Somehow hearing that just made him feel worse. He didn't deserve this woman's forgiveness. In his mind, he deserved to be cast into the pits of hell. He could not forgive himself for trying to harm such a kind-hearted soul.
“Shh… Everything is alright. You’re not alone.”
Eventually, he was able to calm down as the warmth of the woman’s embrace brought him comfort. He hadn’t fully realized just how much he missed feeling warmth until that moment. However, he also realized how improper the situation, and he forced himself to pull away from the woman’s arms, rising to his feet and extending a hand to help her up as well.
“Thank you for the mercy you have shown me,” he kept his eyes on the ground, unable to look upon her face.
“It is no problem. I am happy to help, though I admit I’m not too fond of blood,” she admitted.
At those words, he dared to glance up, remembering that she was dripping with his blood. In a bold sudden movement, he whizzed past her, grabbing the pail of water and handing it to her so that she could clean herself off.
She nodded her head to him in thanks as she reached in and cupped some water into her hands, cleaning the blood off her face. Once every spot of blood was gone, Alucard emptied the pail and got her some fresh water. It seemed the least he could do to make up for what he had almost done.
“Thank you, good sir,” she said, giving him a beautiful wide smile. “You are very kind.”
He shook his head. “I am neither good nor kind. The fact that I tried to rob you of your humanity is proof of that.”
“But you stopped, didn’t you?” she reasoned. “I don’t know many vampires who have ever done that. Nor do I know many vampires who have been kind enough to draw me a fresh pail of water.”
He had to admit that she did have a point, though he refused to believe that he was not to blame. Had it not been for hearing Sypha’s voice in his head, he might not have been able to stop himself.
“Do you not have any family?”
“None that want me around,” he answered truthfully.
“Well then, would you mind terribly if I came and kept you company for a while each evening?” she asked. “I love my grandmother, but she’s not exactly the easiest to communicate with. I’m afraid she’s lost most of her hearing.”
He didn’t know how to respond to that. Though he longed for someone to talk to, he knew he couldn’t think only of himself. Would it be too risky? Was he far enough away from the brotherhood? He knew that they would surely come if word reached them of his presence. Would it hurt to spend time with this young woman who seemed to be lonely as well?
“I wouldn’t mind at all,” he gave her a weak smile of his own. “However, you must promise not to tell anyone about me. I do not wish to cause anyone trouble with my presence.”
She nodded her head in agreement. “May I know the name of my new friend?”
He opened his mouth to tell her his human name but stopped short. Trevor Belmont was dead. He didn’t exist anymore. “My name is Alucard.”
“What an interesting name you have,” she remarked. “My name is Freya. Freya Lecarde.”
Taking her hand in his, he pressed a gentle kiss to it. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Freya Lecarde.”

‘Trio with a S/O who’s jealous’
I’ m just writing stuff now and hoping that it’s enjoyed by someone.
Trevor Belmont:
The moment you even look like you’re jealous of another person he makes a decision
Should he try and protect your emotions, making it very obvious to this other person that he loves you and only you
Or, should he be a dick and fan the flames
Most of the time he’ll protect your feelings, trying to keep you close to him
He’ll make sure to hold your hand or bring you into any conversation
He will RARELY be an asshole about this
But... it does happen sometimes.
He will never flirt back with anyone, oh of course not
but... he’s not saying no or pushing them back
He’ll often look at you out of the corner of his eye to make sure you’re still watching and he’ll stop his little games if you’re too pissed
He thinks it’s adorable that you’re jealous
If only he got to see it more often
Adrian ‘Alucard’ Farenheit Tepes
He finds it a little amusing, albeit childish, that you would even think for a second that he would be unfaithful
He will continue to do whatever he is doing and when all is said and done then he’ll ask you what happened
If your jealous is just huffing to yourself and being standoffish, he findsit a tad rude
If your jealousy make you more involved in the conversation yet obviously bothered or insecure about something, he finds it adorable that you’re trying to keep his attention
He’ll never play with your emotions
You’re not a toy, You’re a human being
You’re his and he is yours
He’ll tell you there is no need for jealousy because he loves you so deeply
He’ll cryptically add that if he was no longer interested in you he wouldn’t hesitate to break it off between you
Which is a scary fucking line to hear but forgive him, he’s very formal
Sypha Belnades
She understands and at the same time she doesn’t
She’s a little offended at first, thinking that you believe she doesn’t love you or anything
When you explain that you’re just a little unhappy with how certain people speak with her as if you don’t exist, she understands a little more
She doesn’t want you to feel that way and will straight up bring up how rude the person flirting with her is in the conversation
“Excuse you, but you are being very rude to not include S/O.”
Very blunt about it
She sets your mind at ease right away and would never dream of leaving you. She feels complete with you at her side
She’ll apologize if she ever did anything to make you think otherwise.

Writing prompt: Alucard teaching Trevor how to dance? (They were just the first pairing that came to mind, I’d be just as happy with any other combination of the Castlevania trio)
Oh I had way too much fun with this. Especially with Trevor being a pining idiot so I’m sorry this took so long!
WORD COUNT: 1447
It was human tendency to handle impending doom in differentways. Some locked themselves away in their houses, some cried, some evenmanaged to get back on their feet and throw a few good punches. And then werethose who wanted to bask in the good times before it was too late. It was justTrevor, Sypha, and Alucards luck that they came upon the latter; electing totake cover in a town where music drifted out of the taverns and ale was inoverabundance. It was the first time the trio had heard genuine, beautiful, drunkenlaughter in ages. Sypha and Alucard had been very quick to remind Trevor thatno matter how inviting the drinks may be, that they had to stay alert. Sober, and alert, lest the town comeunder siege and the trained vampire hunter was too shit faced to help. But evenwith their warnings, the three travelers couldn’t resist the urge to relax.Even if only for a night.
Sypha sat at the bar, her attention currently fixated on a womanwith braided hair and deep brown eyes who was happy to listen to her speakingof their adventures. It was clear as day that the ale wasn’t the thing bringinga blush to the scholars’ cheeks. Trevor sat next to her, sipping on his ownpint and vaguely tuning into the conversation while his eyes drifted to thecenter of the crowded inn where the music was most heavily focused. It wasthere that Alucard had been dragged off by a few overly touchy patrons. Trevorhad sworn he’d seen the vampire get even paler the second one of them grabbedhis arms, politely following them but glancing back to Trevor with pleadingeyes only for the hunter to raise his glass in reply. He’d been hoping fordrinks and a show, wanting to watch the man trip over himself on the dancefloorso that they could laugh about it later. But Trevor really should have expectedmore out of the son of Dracula.
The dhampir moved to the music as if he were born to donothing else, gliding across the floor with the other guests, his hair swaying behindhim with each step and spin. The lights in the tavern reflected into his goldeneyes each time he looked up, his elegant frame moving through the crowd, following the beat of the music as if it could substitute his heart. He wasbeautiful, and it was no wonder Trevor couldn’t keep his gaze off of him.Especially when he was smiling like that.Like the world wasn’t ending. He rarely smiled, and Trevor was beginning torealize he was taking a liking to the fangs that glistened each time he did.
It was only a matter of time before Alucards gaze driftedback to his companions, pausing on a preoccupied Sypha before moving to Trevor, who almost immediately shifted his eyes downwards to the drink in his hand.
“What? Couldn’t find someone to keep you company?” Alucardspoke as he made his way towards Trevor, his tone was light, another thingTrevor wasn’t used to.
“And now why would I need someone else when I’ve got my ale?”He joked in response, moving to set the pint down on the wooden surface of thebar. “Besides, you look plenty busy with all the attractive individuals throwing themselves at you.”
Alucard chose not to sit next to Trevor, standing onlyinches in front of him to hear him over the music. Another rare smile tugged atthe corners of his lips as he leaned down a bit, coming to eye level with thehunter.
“If I didn’t know any better I’d say you were jealous,Belmont. But not to worry, I’m hardly done with dancing for the night.” Heoffered his hand, golden eyes lighting up with mischief. Trevor was quick topull back, forcing a laugh out of the back of his throat as he shook his head.
“Oh, believe me, you don’t want to see me trying to dance.”He replied, going to bat away Alucards hand only for the dhampir to tighten hisgrip and step back suddenly, yanking Trevor to his feet with a surprised yelp.Trevor opened his mouth to speak, only to be cut off by Alucards insistentpulls towards the rest of the dancing crowd. The band had moved to playingsomething softer, the others beginning to pair off and sway to the flutes tune. This was the last thing Trevor wanted to embarrass himself to. Especially asAlucard halted and guided Trevor’s hand to his shoulder, his own hands placingthemselves on the hunters waist and intertwining with his fingers. Trevorlooked between them with wide eyes, noticing how close their chests were, howhis unsure legs shook and struggled to keep him standing.
“I don’t-“ He tried to argue, only to be cut off by Alucard tighteninghis grip and stepping back.
“Just follow my lead, Belmont.” He hummed, already beginningto pace back and to the side as Trevor hurried to keep up, moving his own feet andkeeping his gaze focused on Alucards every movement. A soft chuckle brought hiseyes back up to the smiling dhampir.
“You’re too tense.” he scolded, “You just need to listen tothe music. Don’t watch your feet. Watch me.”
That was easier said than done, Trevor was busy trying towatch anything but Alucard. Becausethe moment those eyes rested on his own, Trevor knew he was doomed. Hestruggled to calm his frantic heart, huffing in frustration but forcing himselfto keep his eyes up.
The music flowed throughout the couples like calm water in ariver, and after Alucard was sure Trevor could keep up with his step sequencehe allowed his eyes to close, getting lost in the notes that sounded so muchlike the ones which once filled the corridors of his home, the tune followinghis mother without any source. The dhampir could have sworn he’d been dancingforever, even when Lisa would sway across rooms with the boy on her hip. He’dforgotten how peaceful it could be. How much it brought people together. Howintoxicating it was to hear his partners heartbeat eventually sync up with themusic, even if Trevor seemed determined to be the exception.
“You don’t have to be so frightened.” He eventually spoke, keeping his eyes closed but feeling Trevor’s hesitation in the way his movementhalted.
“Y-You try dancing for the first time without lookin’ atyour damn feet.” The hunter growled, prompting Alucard to open his eyes, gazingat Trevor with amusement.
“I’d say you’re doing just fine…” He mused, catchingTrevor off guard with the way he leaned forward to rest their foreheadstogether. Alucards cool skin caused him to tense up, muscles freezing beforetrying to relax.
“Why are you doing this? Why right now?” He mumbled, hisvoice low enough that he was sure only Alucard would be able to hear him. Therewas no point in denying how attracted Trevor was to his companion, that therewas comfort in the way Alucard held him, how his thin frame could press againstTrevor’s own.
“Because the world is ending.” The response was not oneTrevor was expecting, eyes going wide before furrowing his brows.
“What the hell happened to destroying Dracula?” He snapped, too caught up in his thoughts to notice how his own movements had become moredeliberate than Alucards, beginning to take the lead in their swaying dance.
“The world as weknow it is ending. Even after we finish our quest… Who is to say we’llever get another opportunity such as this?”
Trevor wanted to tell him he was wrong. That the secondDracula was destroyed he’d take Alucard to a thousand lively taverns. But hecouldn’t. Because for all the stubbornness inside of the hunter, he knew therewould be no replicating of this night. Sypha would probably never see thatbeautiful girl at the bar ever again, the music would eventually turn intoscreams, and the trio would have to move on after doing everything in theirpower to make things better. But never as good as they had it at that verymoment.
“What I am trying to say is… Don’t think right now, Belmont.Listen to the music. And watch me.”
And for the first time, Trevor didn’t argue. Because whenfaced with impending doom, some people were okay with basking in the good times,at least before it was too late.

Alucard Tepes dating a human would include:
Him being bitter and pessimistic towards humans because of the death of his mother but he falls in love with you the moment he first met you
Him being scared he’ll end up just like his father if you were killed
Stealing his frock coats and high collar coats because they are warm and honestly why the fuck not
Long philosophical and scientific talks while gazing up at the stars

wrapping an arm around you
kissing you on the lips
kissing your neck
GrOwLiNg
Did I mention PDA? Because there is so much PDA
Him giving you sword-fighting lessons, which mostly end up in a heated make-out session... maybe at times in front of Trevor or Sypha
You two are basically nap goals (I mean he did sleep for a whole year in the catacombs) and him always being the big spoon. You two always end up creating a sort of nest from the pillows and blankets
Him nerding out over science, history, and philosophy while you watch with the biggest set of heart eyes because he is so adorable
He loooooooooves teasing you with his fangs, whether he’s nibbling and leaving hickies on your neck, softly biting your lips as you kiss, or simply just running his tongue over them
Watching him build machines because holy hot damn
PLAYING WITH HIS GOLDEN HAIR
braiding it
flower crowns
decorating it with flowers here and there and sparkles
using him as a guinea pig for new hairstyles you want to try on yourself
him complaining but secretly loving it
He sings to you and his voice is like melted butter
Him swearing you’re his soulmate because the prophecies said so
