Alton Towers Fireworks Spectacular 2022 by Theme Park Worldwide

Hey, as I understand it, it’s opening day for the Alton Towers theme park today! Let’s celebrate by checking out last year’s fireworks show! :D Seriously, though, this is a great show and features a lot of cool effects -- though, warning, there is some flashing lights sprinkled in there. But if you’re good with that, and want to watch something that celebrates the big seven coasters of the park with some awesome fireworks and remixes, this is for you. :D I can especially recommend the Smiler section -- though, of course, you all knew that. XD

Went to Alton Towers yesterday for the last day of the season. Decided to give Oblivion (the ride in the video, assuming it shows up on dash even though it's not in the preview) another chance. Drop towers aren't usually my thing, but it helps that the ride continues after the drop, so I'm willing to give it another go in future. Hex had reopened too, so I gave that another go and didn't feel nearly as sick as last time, possibly because I knew what to expect. Did still make me a bit queasy though so I don't think I could do it more than once. Did Galactic in the dark, Wicker Man in the rain, and my beloved Smiler three times, but special shout-out has to go to the fireworks show, where, and I am not exaggerating here, they put on what I can only describe as a bootleg episode of Doctor Who to advertise Nemesis. Like, they had the CEO of Phalanx, a shadowy military-science company, come up on-stage and talk about the technology they've made from this alien creature, literally saying the words "Earth is defended", before staging an alien attack. I can only assume someone on the Towers staff is a Whovian, because all I could think about was Susan Twist's presentation in the recent finale. But with fireworks. It was great.
