my mom has been watching mha but she cant remember anyones names so every time they mention everyone she stops the show to be like "whos that one again?" and ive gotten to the point where im using bakugou tactics to keep track of people smh

#like oh theyre talking about the one with the ponytail #thats the half and half guy #endeavor is the asshole with the flames #its really annoying but im trying to focus on the humor aspect instead #she saw present mic in casual clothes and was like “is that the dj guy????”#she doesnt even remember who midoriya is i have to be like yeah theyre talking about deku #the only person she remembers is aizawa #she also keeps saying “the hawk guy” for hawks #and multiple times ive heard it as “the hot guy” and ended up trying to figure out which of these anime men my mom would consider attractive #which is not something i want to be doing but oh well #this is what i get for introducing my mom to anime i guess #although she did enjoy hxh so theres that #she also insisted that we skip the sports festival because “its just the kids fighting its not anything interesting”#and then any time its referenced she pauses it and i have to explain everything #i have explained the whole todoroki situation so many times yall #found out today that she thought todorokis scar was a birthmark #even if i explain stuff she doesnt remember if she doesnt actually watch it #oh and then shell pause the show in the middle of some big reveal and be like “what are they saying”#and i have to explain the next like five minutes of conversation in detail #like yeah youre confused because youre stopping in the middle of the conversation #this turned into a rant whoops
