#personal post#if were cancelling c*berp*nk you better also cancel the w*tcher bc its made by the same company#and we should have cancelled b*oware in ... i dont know#2010? for the way they wrote j*cob and definitely shouldnt have bought *ndr*meda after they way they treated kr*m in d*i or s*ra’s mental he#alth or v*v*enne by clearly making her this evil stepmother type#or the entire concept of the q*nari in general#d*d should be cancelled bc the original w*tc books were FILLED w pr*blem*tic shit#like every classic fantasy everything has to be cancelled#f*r cr* 5???? didnt actually follow thru on the political message it CLAIMED IN OLD E*3S* to be making#and going ‘you get to kill f*scists’ and then making you sympathize w them#bad look (aee plygns article abt this)#AND DO NOT GET ME WRONG these things should be redone and modernized etc#and its like both of these articles mentioned it was a brief snippet of a huge game#altho ill admit that the advertisement is a lot harder to explain esp after reading the artists interview answers#like its a terrible look 100% but asking for 100% id*ealogical p*rity is#esp if youve bought any games/material from any of these companies in the past like three years#g*me of thr*nes is full of problematic content esp regarding the few characters of color it /had/#idk idk idk#i just think its interesting esp w the m*ss *ff*ct stuff since it came out after#all of the other games including the d* ones which are all Problematique#also *ndromeda itself is problematic as hell and i dont feel like#anyone is really like ...... boycotting b*owars over it#also ... it is possible to consume Media Critically#like its possible to be repulsed and disgusted and condemn parts of a piece pf media amd be outraged#esp if its like what we’re seeing now bc it /is/ taking like gritty realism to its extreme without a clear attempt at subversiom#even though those involved say it comes later#its just idk idk idk
