HATE!!!!! pesterquest sprite discourse!!!!! one of the most perfected aspects in homestuck is the simplicity carried in its videogame-styled sprites.... it leads to so many more interpretations in designs, whether its headcanons or just for fun!!

pesterquest sprites are meant to expand on these ideas in the best way possible, what if the characters actually had multiple "emotes" and didnt look like they came fresh out of 2008 newgrounds?

expanding on designs will lead to artist interpretation!! just because vriskas hair doesnt fit your own scenemo queen headcanons for her DOESNT MEAN you cant appreciate her pq design aswell!!!!

homestuck has had sooo many talksprite variations over its runtime and its amazing, something thats lead to so many different versions of all the same cherished characters.....

Someone from mspfa was trying to figure out how to make an Alterniabound sprite of Sweet Bro and I made these as examples of how you could try to translate some of their features over to a smaller scale.

shit i'll be able to finish quickly -stuff of the hs characters that were in the original comic n shit -outfit swaps (godtier bases used 1 2, dreamself base used) -handholding edits (base used) -ministrifes (base used)

stuff that i will also do but will take probably a little longer and will probably be slightly lower priority -ocs (please provide images off-anon for the love of g -hiveswap characters -anything animated -^2sprites or any like kernelsprite fusion stuff (base used) -alterniabound/openbound/that 1 postcanon ren.py page/etc talksprites (resource)

u can use my edits for whatever the fuck u want EXCEPT FOR the ones of other peoples ocs that is kind of weird. ones of hs characters and your ocs are fine but other peoples is a big no

I made some Alterniabound sprites a few weeks ago as a test, most of these are my ocs but the gold and indigo belong to my two amazing friends (Markus and Pepper) the pixels look a bit round since I did make this on ibis paint with a grid below. Also they have full sprite sheets but I'm just going to post the idle (minus "Raliea" the gold blood since I forgot to download the idle sprite)
