“High School” by Alt Bloom

Hollywood Records singer and songwriter Alt Bloom continues his slew of single releases this year with the most recent “High School.”

Even though the track was just released a few days ago, its already garnered editorial support across Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music and marks the artist’s sixth single of the year so far.

The track combines a catchy pop hook mixed with the unique blend of alt-R&B. Introspective and relatable (depending on how much you messed up in high school), Alt Bloom showcases a level of growth as an artist that fans have continued to see him develop over his career.

Interview with Alt Bloom

We had the pleasure of interviewing Alt Bloom over Zoom video!  There is something intrinsically unique about multi-instrumentalist and lyricist Alt Bloom. With his seamless blend of alternative and timeless singer/songwriter pop, Alt Bloom has made himself known for crafting songs that encourage his listeners to escape; tracks that infuse dreamlike introspection paired with atmospheric melodies and, of course, Thompson’s signature tongue-in-cheek wordplay. His music has been described as “smooth indie pop” and his songwriting as introspective, confessional storytelling.  He’s a lover of the outdoors and is becoming known for connecting his music with nature.  Last year, he released a series of videos, called the California Sessions – shot in some of the most beautiful places across California and recently released and collaborated with National Geographic for their “Planet Possible��� initiative to preserve the planet by releasing their new theme song for the initiative  “I Believe”.
