Hello! Quite the lovely winery you got here!

I would love to order, if possible, a Pinot Gris à la Trataglia s'il vous plaît. Kind of like Lisa when books are overdue but with a little twist. As for the snacks, anything you would recommend! For the location, I'll gladly take any tables you have open.

He volunteered to work there for reasons unknown

He definitely didn't need money

But you knew better than to question it - he was already obnoxiously flirtatious when helping you check out books

If you showed interest in him?

You'd never hear the end of it, he'll be relentless

Naturally, with him being so forward and all, you assumed he was just one of those overly friendly people

Then the day came when you got a little too engrossed in a book you borrowed

After rereading it for the nth time, you sort of...forgot to return it

And when you did remember, it was a tad bit too late

"Tsk tsk, that warrants a punishment. I can't just let you off the hook because you're my favourite library-goer, y'know?"

You sighed and nodded, asking him what the penalty incurred would be

As per his typical treatment of you, he offered you a choice

The usual late fee, or helping him rearrange the books at the end of his shift

You figured the latter wasn't too bad an option

Only to find that he didn't really need your help much at all

For someone so laid back, he was an incredibly fast worker

Half the time, he was just drawing it out by chattering away with you, proving himself to be more tolerable than you'd thought

He made for pleasant company and you'd almost forgotten why you were still in the library

You were still holding onto a couple books that had caught your eye while arranging

"Holding on to a few more, I see. Planning to return those late for more alone time with me?"

If he weren't the librarian you would've hit him with a hard cover

Though another hangout like that didn't sound too bad

"Hey, I was just kidding. I'll take you out for coffee on our next date, alright?"

Before you could say anything, he'd scanned your books and ushered you out, sayin he had a few more things to do before he could close up

But behind the doors, he'd slumped against a wall, a hand on his face to stifle to stupid grin he had

El Anime se estrenó en enero. 

La web oficial del Anime para televisión adaptación del juego para móviles de School Girl Strikers de Square Enix, comenzó la transmisión de un vídeo promocional el domingo por el AnimeJapan 2017. El Anime titulado School Girl Strikers Animation Channel se estrenó el pasado el 6 de enero en Japón. 

La historia del Anime será protagonizada por las cinco integrantes del equipo 6 “Altair Torte” (Tsubame Miyama, Satoka Sumihara, Io Yaginuma, Yumi Sajima, Mana Namori) del juego original. Este equipo es el usado durante el tutorial del juego. El equipo pondrá el tema musical de opening de la serie cuyo título se darán a conocer más adelante. Satoka Sumihara y Mana Namori se encargarán de interpretar la canción de ending aun sin título. Cinco CDs con canciones de personajes (un CD con una canción interpretada por cada uno de los personajes) saldrán a la venta el 25 de enero del 2017. Cada CD tendrá una versión del opening de la serie con los cinco personajes interpretándola, una versión del tema de opening en solitario, y una canción única para cada personaje. El single CD para el ending de la serie también saldrá a la venta el 25 de enero del 2017 con la canción de ending en si y una segunda canción de dueto.

Hiroshi Nishikiori esta dirigiendo el Anime en el estudio de animación J.C. Staff. Takao Yoshioka esta supervisando los guiones, y Takanari Ishiyama esta supervisando el escenario. Yuichi Tanaka esta adaptando los diseños de personajes del juego de Gen Kobayashi para la animación. Shou Okamura esta supervisando los diseños Mizuto Suzuki y Kengo Tokusashi están componiendo la música del Anime, tal como lo hicieron en el juego original.

En la historia del juego el mundo sabe que esta amenazado por unos alienígenas, llamados "Oburi" (apariciones). Estos enemigos son más fuertes que los humanos normales, y son especialmente peligrosos debido al hecho de que pueden viajar a través de la "cuarta" dimensión donde pueden estar a salvo. Por alguna razón, algunas chicas son capaces de aprovechar el poder de atravesar estas dimensiones, y entrar en una “quinta” dimensión o un universo paralelo. Hay una cantidad infinita de universos paralelos, todos los cuales son similares pero se mueven en su propio camino. Las Schoolgirl Strikers son chicas capaces de luchar contra los Oburi mediante la búsqueda en estos mundos paralelos alternando vestuarios "Memory Card" (Memoca) que pueden ser usados por ellas y son eficaces contra los "Oburi". El jugador es elegido por una persona misteriosa para dirigir a un grupo de cinco chicas para derrotar a un enemigo que amenaza con destruir el mundo. ¿Por que fuiste elegido y que eres tú mismo? es todo un misterio...

El juego original fue lanzado en abril del 2014 para dispositivos iOS y Android.

Crunchyroll Adds "School Girl Strikers" to Winter Anime Season

It’s been a day filled with new anime announcements, and now there’s one title to share before we black out: School Girl Strikers, based on Square Enix's "light novel style RPG" smart phone game, is set to begin streaming soon on Crunchyroll. Read on for full details!

About School Girl Strikers

The newly established private high school for girls, Goryoukan Academy, has a hidden face that people on the outside don't know about...

  Mysterious apparitions called "Oburi" have appeared from a rift in space-time. The only ones capable of fighting this enemy of mankind are girls known as "Strikers," who have the ability to sense the fifth dimension. Goryoukan Academy is actually an organization that seeks out girls who are more than meets the eye and trains them up for the "Fifth Force," a combat force created to subjugate the Oburi. Warning: Angst. Major character death. No comfort.

Some people went an entire lifetime without ever meeting their soulmate, others were lucky enough to bump into theirs by chance. Life didn't like fate coming between its ships, so everyone was reincarnated life after life until they finally meet their soulmate. You wished you could remember your last lives better. It would've made things so much easier for you.

The first life: Your soulmate's first words to you sat tauntingly on your forearm. Every person you met, your ears would perk up, hoping to hear those words that never came.

The second life: You watched the timer on your watch run out. You'd been led to a busy train station and you could only hope your soulmate was looking around as anxiously as you were so you could tell who it was. As the numbers hit zero, you saw a hand reaching out to you, only for you to be pulled apart by the throngs of people. Drats. You tried to stick around after the crowd cleared, but there was no sign of anyone searching for their other half there.

Third time's the charm, they say. You look down at your necklace every few hours, willing it to glow. Just a glimmer, anything to make you believe you actually had a soulmate. At some point, you just gave up, hurling the forsaken gem into the sea as the waves tapped at your feet. You wanted to scream. It hurt, being brought back time and time again, never knowing peace because your soul was incomplete without its other half.

By the fourth you thought it was some cruel joke. You looked at the red string around your pinkie, loosely hanging in a trail. It was taunting you to follow it - and oh how you wanted to. You would have had it not been for how unclear that route was. The uncertainty shrouding how far your soulmate actually was, or if they even spoke a common tongue. So you stayed. You played it safe and carried on with life. Being reincarnated yet another time would be no surprise to you.

You didn't think you see the string grow a little taut as you crossed the street, not that you'd feel a slight tug from behind.

Turning to look, you noticed a gangly looking ginger across the road looking down between his hand and the surrounding area before his eyes fell on you. The red string pulled taut and you could see the other end on his pinkie. You chuckled at how eagerly he waved at you, practically bouncing with excitement as he waited for the traffic light to turn green.

He was bounding over to you almost as soon as the light switched.

And you really wish he hadn't.

For whatever reason, a car came swerving out of control. You didn't even have the time to scream when you saw his smile drop. Even as he braced himself, you knew there was no hope, as much as you wanted to believe. You could only rush to his side as his face paled, a nauseating red trickling down his forehead and mouth.

You felt a trembling hand on your elbow. It was his. "Nice..to finally meet...you," he choked out. "I'm-"

You cut him off. You didn't want an introduction. You didn't want to meet him. You'd wait for the next lifetime to see him again. But you knew it was already too late. Despite his gentle smile, you could see the agony in his eyes as he looked at you with a hopeless longing and regret.

You carried on with your life, never truly letting go of what happened that day. It had barely been an encounter, it had to have not counted. You smiled calmly as you laid on your death bed.

There was no fifth lifetime.

Estrenada en la reciente temporada de invierno del 2017, esta es una adaptación al anime de un juego para móviles lanzado por Square Enix, que va de una organización secreta llamada Fith Force, conformada por varios grupos cada uno de cinco chicas, que moviéndose entre las temática de chicas mágicas y la de equipos de súper sentai, tiene que luchar contra criaturas pentadimensionales en la quinta dimensión, empleando para esto variopintas armas y trajes de combates con temáticas que van desde maids steampunks, pasando por ángeles gothic lolitas, hasta llegar a comandos en bikini entre otras, centrándose la obra en llevarnos de la mano con el mas reciente equipo de la organización, Altair Torte, quienes deben de aprender a luchar eficientemente y trabajar en equipo para proteger a la tierra, mientras llevan en paralelo su vida como estudiante de instituto. Anime de acción y ciencia ficción que más que nada llama la atención por el tema de los equipos de heroínas cosplayeadas, pero que como tal no es que ofrezca mucho al espectador, siendo un titulo bastante sencillo el cual tarda bastante para empezar a desarrollar su trama principal que no es que sea de lo más brillante que hay por allí, moviéndose la mayoría de sus capítulos en un formato bastante episódico centrados en ver a las protagonista superar la dificultad de turno con las que se topan, al tiempo que hacen tonterías y  congenian como las mejores amigas que son. Pese a esto tengo que decir que por lo menso en mi caso este ha sido un trabajo bastante llevadero,  el cual si bien me aburrió a momentos en un balance final me ha logrado agradar, en parte por lo poco en serio que se tomaba a sí misma, y en parte por su apartado visual, y es que si bien la animación no es ninguna maravilla los diseños de personajes son muy atractivos, mas pese a esto SchoolGirl Strikers no llega a ser en ningún sentida una serie que pueda recomendar en demasía.
