But additionally-- I have a thought about a fic.. Because listen guys, listen, the show ending makes *sense* in a weird, trippy way, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN I LIKE OR AM OKAY WITH IT. IM NOT. So ofc. I want a fix it. Most of the fics I'm seeing are not fix its. BUt I have an idea. an idea IDK if anyone else would want. But thats okay, maybe this one is just for me (uwu). There were always logistics problems that bothered me about the show, one being the way that AI much less a UI takes SO MUCH to store and maintain and the ecological fall out of all that is NOT negligible and imo probably not sustainable. I also think that the human machine that is the brain NEEDs the biological computer that is the human brain to be as powerful as it is. I think neuroplasticity isn't something you can just get from codes and circuits. And then ya know, what would happen to this fictional world if you throw in stuff like NATURE as an actual force to be reckoned with??? Their doing ALL THIS to make this UI utopia, but about volcanos and earthquakes and asteroids and solar flare EMPs!? What if, and we're getting real crazy now, you through a GOD into the mix? What happens to that world if their is more to the human existence than code and genes? What if the minds they were mapping were souls, and things like an afterlife actually existed, and the UI utopia of the uploaded cloud was actually a manmade purgatory!? HEAR ME OUT GUYS!!
