blogging live sitting on the floor at work because there’s nowhere else to sit rn because these random guys have invadedddd the back room where i would normally chillax at this time… and remind me why we need to install this new fancy shmancy inventory technology but can’t get people to clean the mass amounts of dust and grime off the rafters more than once a year? remind me how this is going to be more helpful than. registers that work or perhaps literally even just. fixtures that aren’t all broken. why is everything in this store that has wheels broken? anyway. the innovations of modern american capitalism at work! well it’s 2am. four and a half more hours to go hashtag night shift i guess. but in a way that blows ridiculously. anyway i don’t care for men being here. the way all they’ve done is take hours and hours to hang wires from the ceiling is crazy like i don’t wanna tell people how to do their job but how hard can it possibly be like speed it up boys you’re killing me. and why do we need this to be at night. and not just. close the store for one day and get it done. again the innovations of modern american capitalism at work! because god fucking forbid people not be able to shop for mediocre jeans and ugly tops for one or two days wouldn’t that just be an infringement on the civil liberties of the public. not as if you could walk your ass ten more feet and buy the same ugly crap at old navy. like this is a mall get serious i’ve been in these stores they’re all the same and frankly i might even argue my store is worse because it puts so much into falsely branding itself as eco friendly. babygirl you would not believe how much plastic gets thrown right into the dumpster out here. they don’t want you to know this because the jeans are made using like 70% less water than average or whatever the fuck but i’m pretty sure the amount of plastic i’ve thrown away here could create its own island. anyway. we persevere.
