« please donât tell me youâre laughing because of me. i⊠didnât see that pole. » momo @ daichi
@tsukiigami "I'm not...." Daichi said with a poker face but cracks are breaking through that expression as there is a constant twitch at the corner of his mouth. His eyes became crinkled at the corners. He covers his mouth with a hand, trying his best not to break with his eyes closed. "I mean....to be honest...nobody could have seen that coming..." Daichi said. Eito, his spirit companion chirps on the top of his head, confirming it. Well....Eito did. He saw that pole coming a mile away. Recalling that mishap from three different takes in three different angles. A chortle escapes him and then he can't stop himself. He laughs while holding his sides. God, he felt so bad but damn it, it was too hard not to laugh!
"I'm sorry!" Daichi wheezes a little, "S-s-sorry! I shouldn't laugh...it's just..." He shakes his head before looking at Momo. "Okay! Sorry! Are you...ha...okay?!Are.....you hurt anywhere?" He asked while snorts were coming through.

âïč„âââââââââââââââïč€â
Waking up to an empty bed was not something new to you. The feeling of your queen sized bed, one side covered with pillows of all shapes and sizes to accommodate the lack of weight you once felt there.
You look over to the clock on your bed side table, reading the time: 08:37. Roughly three and a half hours until people start arriving for your sonâs fifth birthday party.
Sitting up in your bed, you take a deep breathe to push yourself to make it through the day. You loved your son more than yourself but every now and then, youâll wake up with a reminder of who his father is. Feeling a pain in your heart that only happens when you think of him.
Getting ready for the day in a nice sundress with your hair pulled back and away from your face, you woke up your son and continued to get him ready along with you. The volleyball themed things you bought sitting in the closet as your best friend since high school and roommate helps set up everything.
âAre you excited bud?â You ask your son with a smile.
âI am, Mommy! I canât wait for my friends to get here!â He responded with a bigger smile than yours.
Your son, Kaoriâs, friends came over one by one along with their parents. The sight of their happy marriages causing you to use your best masked smile.
Finally all of his friends were here as you began the party outside. The festivities you had spent hours planning and making were put to well use. Finally it was time for pizza.
As you went inside, you heard a hesitant knock on the door. Thinking that everyone had made their way here already, you hesitate as you walk towards the door and peek outside the window. Oh no.
Opening the door slowly you go wide eyed at the sight of white hair with black roots styled in a way that resembles a horned owl.
â(Y/N)! Looks like I found the right place!â His smile as wide as ever.
âB-Bokuto?â You felt your heart beat speed up at the sound of his voice, somewhat not believing it was him until he spoke.
âYeah! It hasnât been that long has it? You havenât forgotten all about me have you?â His smile falls only slightly as he looks behind you and through the door.
âWhat are you doing here?â You close the door only slightly once you realise hes looking inside in hopes of coming in. âYou shouldnât be here.â
His smile fades all the way at your words. â(Y/N), can I come in? Iâd really like to talk to you...â
You sighed and was about to speak before your sonâs voice beat you to it. âMommy! Whatâs taking so long? Iâm hungry!â He walks up right behind you and tugs on the back of your dress as he looks outside with you and opens the door a bit wider.
âMommy?â Bokutoâs eyes travel to the voice who spoke only moments ago and sees the small child standing behind you and looks back at you as an explanation.
âBokuto I-â you were cut off by Bokuto as he kneels down to your sonâs height to let him know heâs not a threat and asks him a question that could determine how this all went down. âHow old are you, little man?â
Kaori doesnât miss a beat and holds up his hand promptly, his hand open to show the number five as he speaks. âI turned five today!â He smiles and looks to you for permission to step closer to the man.
You kneel and look to Kaori. âWhy donât you go get (aunt/uncle) (bf/n) to help with the pizza while I talk to this man. Can you do that for me?â
Kaori nods and runs off, grabbing your bestfriend since high school and getting their help to carry on the party.
You turn back to Bokuto and stands. He looks to you with concerned eyes. âHeâs 5?â
You nod and hum. âTodayâs his birthday. Thatâs why today isnât a good day for you to come in.â You rest your hand on the door as a sign that you want to end this conversation quickly.
He pressed his hand softly on the door desperately. âIs he-â he canât even finish his question at the thought, but you know what heâs asking.
You look down at your feet and nod. âHeâs yours...â guilt rushes over and as tears begin to well in your eyes.
You can hear his breath get caught in his throat, eyes beginning to tear up as well. Heâs still looking to you with sad eyes for some kind of explanation. But you donât give him what he wants.
âLook, you didnât want me. That also meant you didnât want him. I wasnât going to tell you if you were going to pick volleyball over the both of us anyways.â You sigh shakily and keeps looking down, not trusting your tears if you looked at him.
âThatâs not fair. I did want you. I wanted you so much. I just-â you cut him off.
âNo you didnât. And you made that very clear when you left me to play Volleyball.â
âI didnât leave you to play volleyball. I just couldnât give you what you deserved! I wanted you to meet someone new. Someone who could take care of you!â He cries softly.
âThatâs the problem! I didnât want to find someone new! I didnât want you to leave but you did! You left and I was all alone.â The crack in your voice mixed with the confession made Bokutoâs heart break more than what it already had. He walked closer and immediately pulled you into a hug, knowing all you needed was to be comforted. To know he was there.
You cry into his shoulder as you grip his shirt, half of you wanting to stay like this forever and the other wanting to push him away and slam the door in his face.
You chose to stay in his arms, missing the warmth and comfort he used to provide you. Head buried in his chest as your tears flowed softly, mumbling quietly.
âI missed you everyday. I missed feeling you, talking to you, connecting with you.â
He rubs your back and shushes you softly. âI know. I know and Iâm sorry...â
At that, you pulled away and wiped your tears, sniffling softly before straightening out your dress.
âYou should go.â You hug yourself, arms wrapped around your middle to comfort yourself.
â(Y/N)... please donât do this. I wouldâve stayed if you wouldâve told me!â
âNo. I didnât tell you because I know you wouldâve stayed. I know you wouldâve given up everything you worked for. Given up the sole reason you left me. I wasnât going to be the one to make you stay and give up what youâve been working your whole life towards.â Another sniffle comes from you as you finally look at his face.
He spoke up again. âIâm sorry for leaving you all those years ago. I shouldnât have. Especially because I never stopped loving you.â
âWhy should I believe you? You left and I barely heard a word from you sense then. You moved on and left me in the past.â The bubble in your throat is an indicator that if you donât stop talking, youâll cry again. And thatâs one thing you wonât allow. Not for him.
âBecause every night I had trouble sleeping. Why? Because you werenât there. Everyday I had to force myself out of bed. Why? Because you werenât there to provide the smile that kept me going. (Y/N), you know I love you. You know I didnât want to leave. No matter how much you hate me, you know thatâs the truth.â He gives you a look as if to quietly ask if his suspicions were true. He really did love and miss you. His words were nothing but the truth.
âBokuto...â you sniffle yet again. âI missed you everyday too. But you never called, you never texted. No matter how many times I called, it was always your voicemail. I wanted to tell you, trust me. But I knew the second I did, youâd be on the first plane back here.â
âAnd I would have happily stayed with you if I had known. Do you know how bad this hurts? To know that Iâve had a son for 5 years and havenât met him? Didnât even know he existed until today?â His lip quivers. âYou know how much I wanted to build a family with you. But I knew I wouldnât have been able to take care of you, him and volleyball. If I could go back in time and take it all back, never leave, I would. But I canât and itâs the biggest mistake Iâve ever made.â
You now have tears falling down your face again. âI know you wanted a family but I assumed you didnât want one with me. All of my plans that had you in them were thrown out the window when you left. Never expected you to come back. You have to understand that...â
âI do and Iâm sorry that I left you like that. I just thought that you deserved better and to find someone who could give you their all. But I want you back. At least back in my life if not back in a relationship.â He looks to you hopefully.
âI donât know, Bokuto. Iâve been without you for so long that I wouldnât know where to start.â Wiping your eyes, you hum. âI canât promise to let you back in my life, but I will let you meet him. Officially...â
He looks to you with wide eyes. âReally? Youâd let me do that?â
âYou can. But I canât promise heâll easily understand why you werenât here.â
âWeâll figure it out. Please... I want to meet my son.â His voice finally went back to normal at the plea to get to know his own flesh and blood for the first time.

hiđ„ș, i would like a matchup pls. iâm she/her, 5â4, & my myers briggs type is estp. iâm double majoring in forensics and criminology. i play volleyball as a setter. iâm constantly listening to music and scribbling lyrics into my journal, along with messy poetry. i frequently write letters to people and give small gifts to my friends. my dream night, would be cozied up with a cup of tea and a good stack of films to go through. iâm rather sarcastic but i mean well. my friends say iâm too nice-đŻ
when i was younger i used to watch shows like bones and i was convinced i was going to end up in the forensics field,,, then it turned out i was bad at science skdjlkj
but you sound so cool!! it was actually pretty difficult to pick someone for you because you worked well with a few different guys
but after some thought, i match you withâŠ
sawamura daichi!!
⧠he surprised me, actually!! i didnât quite expect to choose him for you, but i couldnât get him out of my head. so here he is, karasunoâs captain himself!! Â
⧠honestly, i think heâd find you really charming?? he loves the fact that you write letters for people, that you write poetry, etc. i think that sort of,,, âromanticâ vibe would really appeal to him (and by romantic i mean like,,, 19th century âi am a dashing young poet whoâll be struck down by tuberculosisâČ romanticism. does that make sense?)
⧠heâd find your majors really interesting!! i can easily see them being areas of interest for himself (especially in regards to the career path he ends up choosing), and he likes discussing them with you. sure, the topics may be a bit grim, but itâs always interesting.Â
⧠iâm pretty sure daichi is an estj, which makes for a pretty interesting contrast against an estp. you have a good balance between you, with his more responsible temperament and your more fun-loving one (iâm assuming this bc literally every estp i know is a bit of a wildcard gflkjdf).Â
⧠that isnât to say heâs no fun, though. i think daichi would enjoy your sarcastic side, and heâs perfectly capable of firing it back. being a dad to a bunch of high school students means that he can think a little quicker on his feet when it comes to this sort of thing, and he can be quite funny.Â
⧠daichiâs a very thoughtful guy himself, so he makes sure to bring you little gifts of his own as a thanks. heâs attentive, so heâs noticed how much you do for other people; and he wants to give that same love and care back to you. heâs always very sincere, too, and the gifts he gets show just how well he knows you.
⧠he also likes to write you letters, especially when youâre busy or stressed. heâll either slip them into your bag or your back pocket, and theyâre always just so earnest and honest that you canât help but tear up a bit when you read them. theyâre most frequent around the times you have a big responsibility to face down, like an exam or an important day at work, and theyâre usually accompanied by your favourite snack.Â
⧠listen, i feel like his ideal night is probably quite similar to yours?? while i get the feeling daichiâs a bit of a traditional guy when it comes to matters of romance (you know,,, heâs going to bring you flowers on the first date, kiss your hand after heâs walked you home, probably asks your parents for permission to take you out,,, that sort of stuff), heâs still pretty lowkey. so the thought of coming back from a long day and spending time with his partner, wrapped up on the couch watching movies and drinking tea?? literally a dream come true Â
⧠he loves practicing volleyball with you, mainly because he gets to see two of his great loves combined. and he always recgonises your own abilities, too. but, the captain canât help but jump out, so i hope youâre okay with getting his thoughts, opinions, and a landslide of advice. he canât help it, heâs just too excited.Â
⧠overall, i think you two would just be really sweet and endearing?? youâd have a pretty mature relationship in the sense that,,, youâre just two equals, going through life hand-in-hand. youâd respect each other a lot, and thatâd really shine through in how you treated each other aka youâre overwhelmingly precious leave some romance for the rest of us pleaseÂ
other possible matches
⧠azumane asahi: like daichi, i think heâd find you charming!! he likes your vibe as well, and heâs quite,,, enamoured by you tbh. also, we all know heâs the biggest softie, right?? so if you ever gave him a letter, heâd cry. if you gave him a little gift, heâd cry. if he ever heard any of your poems -- you guessed it, heâd cry. you just make him really soft, okay?? and he canât control how fond he gets. as a side note, i feel like asahi would have some passing interest in music, so youâd always be trading songs and bulking out each otherâs musical libraries. he was so close to knocking daichi out of the top spot, so i think heâd definitely be a wonderful match for you!!Â
⧠iwaizumi hajime: idk, i just feel like heâd be fond of you?? iwaizumi also looks after his loved ones pretty well, itâs just,,, hidden behind how stern he can be. but with you, i think his guard would come down a little, especially if you started giving him letters. he canât help but soften up, and heâd definitely be protective of you. while he admires how nice you are, it does frighten him a little; what if someone tries to take advantage of that?? can you stand up for yourself?? will you be okay?? once he gets to know your sharp tongue, though, heâs pretty relieved. and hell, he likes being able to be sarcastic back -- itâs just one of the ways heâs able to relax around you.Â
#i feel like i got sidetracked in parts of this BUT i hope you like it??#if it's too rambly please tell me i'll come back and edit it if it makes no sense#rowan plays matchmaker

wedding day
hey-- im back!! sorry i missed so many days so far. life just started getting in the way. however im back and i might try to still catch up on a few days since i have ideas for them still.Â
for now though its july 28th: family day! this is a companion piece to my previous fanart because i really wants to do this day but i had a hard time thinking of something good to write
its also on ao3 if thats easier to read!
Crow already couldnât believe the day had rolled around already. It seemed so distant, even just yesterday. It did make sense, given a lot would be happened today butâŠ
It wasnât like Crow didnât want to go through with it. Nothing like that-- he wanted to get married. It just didnât seem⊠Real was all.
He washed his face in the sink, drying it off on a hand towel, and then got started brushing his teeth. The markers on his face were a daily reminder of all that he had done. They couldnât ever really be removed, unlike normal tattoos, but that was the plan with security. He heard they were researching a way to remove them but that would be just as painful as getting them on, if not more so.
Crow sighed. With a face like his, he didnât think heâd really make it far outside of Satellite. Becoming a security officer? Becoming a pro duelist? Getting married? None of that was a life he could have predicted after he got the first marker on his forehead at the age of 14.
As he started getting dressed in a t-shirt and jeans (he planned to change at Marthaâs house) he set off. It felt nice to be in Neo Domino again-- even if he was a pro duelist now, he would always miss home. A lot had changed since the bridge was built, a lot of older buildings torn down because they were unsafe to live in, a lot of filling in huge gaps of the island, not to mention reworking security on the old momentum plant. Kids apparently kept trying to jump the fence and sneak in and the thought of a reckless kid getting hurt in there nearly made Crowâs heart stop.
Martha opened the door for him, and all the kids rushed out. They decided to spend the nights with her leading up to the wedding, as she had a lot more room. Besides, they always missed Martha, and Crow wasnât about to keep them from her.
âRight on time Mr. Groom!â Martha teased, while the kids jumped around Crow.
âYouâre really still gonna marry Brave?â Ginga asked, tugging on his shirt.
âWhy are you wearing a t-shirt!â Hikari laughed. âDo you really plan to get married in that while we have to be dressed up?â She teased.
âCalm down!â Crow laughed heartily. He was glad the kids were taking this well. âIâm going to get changed obviously! Iâm just going to get ready here before we head to the bridge!â
âCan we climb up on the bridge?â Daichi asked, and Crow tugged on his cheek.
âAbsolutely not! You know itâs dangerous up there and Iâve never let you play on it.â Daichi still grinned wide. Honestly, the older they got the more of a handful they were. But Crow wouldnât have it any other way.
âCome on now kids, donât get your clothes all dirty! And hurry up and start getting ready Crow!â Martha called from the doorway. The kids all ran inside.
âAre you sure you donât need help with things Martha?â Crow asked as he also walked in. The kitchen smelled like home cooked food and Crowâs stomach growled a bit. As much as he enjoyed Braveâs cooking, there was a special place in his heart for his foster motherâs meals.
âHelp? Crow itâs your wedding!â Martha laughed happily. âI can expect the first son of mine to actually get married to help me cook for his own wedding!â
âCome on, Iâd feel awful--â
âNonsense, now go get changed! Jack and Yusei can help when they come.
Crow did head upstairs and in the bathroom was his suit, hanging up behind the door. He ran his fingers down the fabric gently. It wasnât an expensive suit by any means, he didnât want anything too special. But now that he thought about it, it was going to be special, wasnât it?
He put it on carefully, making sure nothing was wrong with it. If a button was missing heâd rather realize it now and have time to fix it rather than realize it in pictures days after the wedding. He also looked at his ring finger. His wedding ring would be on there soon wouldnât it? He heard Brave and the kids picked out the wedding bands and left it as a âsurpriseâ, but he had faith they would pick something decent. At least, the kids would.
After that, he worked on his hair. Martha told him to put it back, either tie it or wear it down. However, after working his messy hair down he didnât feel quite like himself. He groaned looking in the mirror, brushing a few stray hairs out of his face. He would ask for Marthaâs help, but she was still busy cooking.
âHow are you holding up in there?â Yusei asked after a quick knock. âNot getting cold feet are you?â He teased affectionately. Crow sighed again and opened the door.
âNo thatâs not it, I just--â He pointed at his hair. âI donât know what to do about this.â
âWear it how you usually do. Why should you have to change it?â
âMartha said itâs best to have it down since itâs a formal event--â
âYeah, and it's your wedding.â Yusei interrupted. Crow had to admit Yusei had a point. âBesides--â Yusei held up a headband in his hand. âI brought you a new one to wear for the wedding. This one should match your suit a lot better.â
âWow, you sure thought ahead didnât you.â
âI figured you would just try and walk out there in your usual one, so I wanted to make sure you matched at least.â Crow rolled his eyes.
âDo you seriously think I would go out there in a teal headband and a black suit?â Crow questioned, as he got to work brushing his hair back up. As it dried a bit, it started to fluff up on itâs own. Crow then slipped the headband on, and he already felt more like himself.
âKnowing your fianceâs taste in fashion?â Crow snorted at his comment. Honestly with how mismatched Braveâs outfits were⊠He might like that. Already Crow was dreading what kind of outfit Brave would show up to the ceremony in. He loved the guy, but he was worried about just how bad it could get. Oh well, it was his wedding too right? If Brave wanted to look like a hot mess in front of their family, he had every right to.
⊠âTheirâ family huh? That had a nice ring to it.
âAll better huh?â
âYup. Glad you showed up or Iâm not entirely sure what I would have done with it.â
âThe best man has to keep everything in order, doesnât he?â Crow smiled as they bounded down the stairs.
âYeah, knew I could count on you Yusei.â
âHmph. Youâre finally done.â Jack was down at the bottom of the stairs. Apparently, he wanted to wear a white suit to the wedding, as he usually did. However, Martha scolded him over it and made him buy something else. âOnly the bride can wear whiteâ she explained, but Jack rolled his eyes. Instead, he settled on a grey suit with violet and silver accents. It looked nice enough, if not extremely tacky. Brave was gonna love it.
âYeah yeah, sorry I have to actually look nice for my own wedding.â he bumped into Jack playfully, and Jack shoved him lightly back.
âDonât try too hard and get your hopes up, after all, youâll never be more handsome than me.â
âOh shut it Jack.â Yusei laughed, pulling the two away from their mock fight.
âDonât ruin your suits before the wedding guys.â Jack huffed and walked away to check on Martha, but the two knew it was just an act. Jack was the one who teared up on the phone when Crow told him he was actually getting married, even if heâd never admit it.
âAlright boys, foodâs done so letâs go see how the decorations are coming.â Martha finished fixing her hair in the mirror before heading out the door. The bus took them and all the kids across satellite to the Daedalus Bridge.
Crow was surprised they were actually able to get in. After the whole Bifrost thing and the Arc Cradle, security put fencing around the whole thing. The bridge was dangerous, kids could climb up there and fall off if people werenât careful, and the waves werenât very forgiving⊠But since Crow helped save the city and knew several people in security, he got permission to get married there.
It was weird to see how much the area changed. It was cleared out for the most part. Not many people lived in the B.A.D area to begin with, but with construction and traffic, they were all gone. All that was left were some new smaller shops and storage buildings. His old house the kids used to stay in was long gone, now torn down and covered over with a layer of concrete.
âReminiscing?â Yusei questioned, seeing where Crow was looking. Crow nodded. âItâs hard to believe so many years ago you lived here, huh?â Yusei didnât know the place as well as Crow, but it was still somewhere he stayed during the signer war. It was messy and crudely build together, as most places in Satellite were, but it was certainly a home. Probably the kidsâ first home they ever knew.
âYeah⊠It looks completely different now.â It was better though, safer. Before he was anxious to leave the kids alone, despite having to provide for them. Now there wasnât violent crime running rampant and his kids were far away from that kind of danger.
âCrow!!â The kids called, and Crow turned to look at them. The kids were around the big container of flowers Aki had brought. Crow rushed over to look all the flowers over along with the kids.
âWoah-!!â When Aki said she would bring flowers, he didnât think she meant this many.
âWhat are you so surprised about?â Aki crossed her arms, smiling. âIt takes a lot of flowers for a wedding to look nice.â The flowers were in an array of warm colors, mostly red and orange, but there were some yellow, white, pink, and black flowers too.
âWhere exactly are you going to put all these?â Crow dared to ask.
âWell, on the fencing, the wedding arch, the chairs, and the rest will be at Marthaâs house for the reception.â Crowâs eyes widened.
âWhat about Braveâs bouquet?â Kokoro asked. Was Brave going to have a bouquet?
âI already made that. He has it right now in some water.â Aki reassured her, before unpacking the flower girl basket. âAnd here are your flowers.â Kokoro looked overjoyed. He underestimated how much she was looking forward to being the flower girl. âPlease help us out with putting up the decorations first though, okay?â Kokoro nodded and put her basket on a table, before helping Aki with flowers and wire. It honestly would have been less of a hassle and a neater job if they hired someone to put the flowers up for them, but where was the personal touch in that? They could just hire someone to clean it up instead.
âSoâŠâ Crow started, while also helping Aki and the kids decorate. â...How did Braveâs outfit look?â
âIâm not telling~â Aki laughed, and Crow sighed.
âCan you just tell me if he looked presentable or not?â
âHe looks fine Crow! Have a little more faith in him.â Crow was a bit relieved at that. âI know heâs a fashion train wreck most of the time but he knows how to pull things together when they count.â
âYeah but itâs also his wedding too.â Crow tied an orange and red daisy to a large bow, before adding it to the fence. âIf he wanted to wear a tie dye sundress he could.â Aki and the kids seemed to find that thought funny.
âI donât think he would though.â Aki smiled gently now. âHe seems pretty excited for the wedding actually.â
âIâm certainly excited since all of you are keeping so many secrets from me about it.â They all laughed again, and Crow noticed Braveâs kids coming in with Dragan to help set things up. The older kids helped set up chairs and the wedding arc with Dragan, Jack, and Yusei. The younger ones came running over to help tie up flowers and chat with his kids. He was glad they all seemed to get along for the most part.
âWell, we have to keep secrets. That way the day will be very special.â Crow rolled his eyes but smiled regardless. âBesides, itâs bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the wedding.â
âOh, âbrideâ now huh?â Hikari elbowed him in the stomach for his comment.
âHe can be a bride if he wants!â She seemed pretty annoyed with his behavior.
âEasy now, Iâm just joking! You know I donât care so long as Iâm marrying him.â Her cheeks puffed out and she fixed her ponytail before going back to decorating. Crow gave her a pat on the head and she didnât seem to mind anymore.
Decorating ended up taking more time than he thought. Even with all the hands they had working, it took a while. Martha and Jack also took trips back at the house to put the delivered wedding cake in the freezer. Several people also dropped off gifts there to be unwrapped once the ceremony was over. Carly came as well with her camera in tow. He would make sure to pay her for the photos she took, even if she said sheâd do it for free.
Finally, afternoon rolled around, and a car rolled up. Harald went to go pick Brave up in a car, as to not ruin his wedding outfit. However, they were just about to start the ceremony so he couldnât leave the car yet. Kokoro and Ginga ran back to the car though to greet Brave, as well as get the rings for the ceremony from him.
Crow tapped his foot. He was ready to see Brave. While he did enjoy talking with everyone, catching up with Aki, and having some fun with his kids, he wanted to also start enjoying the day with Brave there too.
Finally, it was time for the ceremony to start. Kuzuyama had even made it in time, Zora and her son Leo followed behind, and an old coworker with a license was going to marry them. Crow stood under the arc and bit his lip a bit. Music started up and he heard the car door open and shut. He wasnât really able to keep staring straight ahead the whole time, and he turned around to get a good look at his âbrideâ to be.
Brave looked fine. More than fine actually--he looked great. He was in a white suit, tailored nicely with a black vest under it and an orange tie to compliment Crowâs red one. His now long hair was falling over his shoulders and back, and he was wearing one of his gaudy tiaraâs complete with a veil.
His smile was gentle and happy the whole while and throughout the whole ceremony. Crow himself had a giant grin the whole ceremony himself, unable to pull his eyes off Brave. Honestly, the reveal was worth it, Brave looked stunning. He looked gorgeous but most importantly was able to do so while looking like himself. Crow was glad he decided to wear the headband, so he could do the same.
When the rings were brought up, Crow marveled at them a bit. They were gold in the shape of feathers, with various set stones. They matched fairly well and werenât too big that they would get in the way of everyday life. Braveâs seem to be set with orange and red stones, while Crowâs only had one small black stone. It was still perfect, just what he would have wanted.
During the vows, Brave was tearing up a bit and laughing in joy. It almost moved Crow to tears himself but for the sake of the ceremony he held back. How was he going to say âI doâ fast enough if they had to take a break for both of them crying? In the seats, he already heard several people crying.
As it finally came time for the kiss, Crow couldnât help but be a little be over the top. Besides, Brave kept a lot of surprises for him, why canât he surprise Brave? He stepped forward, bracing his leg before he swiftly dipped Brave down. Brave gasped a bit in surprise and made sure the tiara wasnât falling off, before throwing his arm over Crowâs shoulders and smiling fondly up at him. Crowâs characteristic grin was so wide it felt like his face might break. Finally, with an equally swift kiss, he sealed their vows.
As everyone cheered in joy, Crow was just happy Brave was officially a part of the family.
