Another Gala. "Why couldn't I stay home for this one” Eric thought as he groaned. He wasn't exactly the best at these kinds of parties, preferring to keep to himself. Unfortunately that's not an option due him and Carly covering the story on it.

“You would never abandon Carly, big bro.”Alici walked over to him, fresh out of another interview. ”Besides, it's your job to record the events.”

“Touche, Ali.” he signed, tugging at his dress shirt collar. “Still wish I wasn't here. You know how I handle parties. I'm not you after all” his sister was the social butterfly. He was the emo kid who ate by himself.

“At least you can still dress to kill. Metaphorically of course”Alici said as she twirled in her dark green dress to make a point.

“What other reason could you mean it, Fellow Reds?” a voice asked behind the siblings. As he was walking, Alici noticed how his eyes and hair reminded her of two little angels she once baby-sat .

“None at all-” Eric Started before being cut off by Alici

“Psst, Eric. Does he remind you of someone? Or three of them?” she whispered, making sure to quiet about it.

“Personally, I don't-” His eyes widened as he looked closer. The spikes, the same glint of the triplets and.. “Sweet mother.”

“Yep!”

“Say Sr. Have you met someone called Seraphina-Taniya?” Eric Asked in a respectful tone.

“Yeah? Why do you ask?” Brace quirked his eyebrows.

“No reason at all”

"I'm starting to think that Sera is related us by blood." Alici chuckled

"And why is that kid?" Sera didn't know where she was going with that.

"You and Eric had the same taste in guys"

Returning to the Nest (excerpt)

“Does Crow know about your little plan to try and woo him?” Harald asked giving his energetic friend a stern look.

“Well….” His noncommittal response was all Harald needed for an answer.

“Geez, Brave there you go, jumping the gun.” Harald heaved a sigh. “At least tell Crow so he can help you with your move.”

“I will come up with something. There is plenty of time.” Brave says. “There is one thing I want to make sure of before leaving.”

Harald and Dragan both noticed the serious look on Brave’s face.

“Go on.” Harald gestured for Brave to continue.

“If things don’t work out, I just want to know if I have a place here to come back too….” Brave voiced his question.

So this is what has been bothering him lately? Was he afraid they would just never accept him back if he were to leave? That would explain why he’s been acting so weird since Crow announced his departure.

Brave never had a place to return home to. His hometown had no one waiting for him to come back. It was easy to leave and never return. He’s been moving from place to place never looking back until he happened upon the orphaned kids. It was then when he realized that maybe being a lone-wolf wasn’t what he truly wanted. The feeling only grew when he teamed up with Harald and Dragan. They were his family. Now, that he wanted to try and be with Crow, he was worried about losing them.

“Brave, you will always have a place to return to here.” Harald softly says. Dragan nods.

“Thanks! You guys are the best!” Brave runs over and wraps his arms around both of them.

He excused himself to his room and pulled out his phone. As much as he would like to just surprise Crow, it would be best to let him know. Brave wanted to show Crow he was a serious person and would be a great romantic prospect. He began typing.

Brave: After the tournament I’m thinking of moving to Neo Domino City.

Will we ever get a YGO gacha game where we can collect characters or their Duel Monsters and fight or something 💀 like, that would be so fun. I just want to walk around and battle as the character like in BBS. The characters would be using their monsters to fight where the monster can be there floating over their shoulder like a jojo stand. There’s so many opportunities for this pls.

I think specifically for children/teens Brave (5Ds) would use pet names. But like- silly ones. Chickpea, sweet pea, sweetums, sweetheart, like those sorts of silly ones trying to make them laugh/calm down. He usually does it when they’re really upset, but sometimes when he’s sad he’ll also do it. The children he takes care of think it’s so silly and they’re really fond of it, some even going as far to copy it when they’re trying to calm someone else down (specifically the kids who are “older” doing this to the younger ones).

Haha the battle of chibi is so entertaining. Someone should really make a 2 part movie about it, except zhou yu secretly had a crush on zhuge liang and they play and incredibly emotionally charged qin duet

Time to introduce my Paradox/Yusei fankid, Banka "Nova" Fudo, who was made with the power of SCIENCE!, out of spite of God, and Akiza being a hella good friend and donating an egg. :D

(His nickname is an alias he uses, and will be explained further down below!)

A very smart and intelligent Duelist, you would think he has some level of chill because of who his parents are. NOPE, he has exactly zero chill, has quite a temper when annoyed or angry, and is snarky as hell. Very much a hell raiser. 

Banka also is very knowledgeable on mechs, robots, and exactly how gravity works, that last bit being most most important because he wants to make Zero Gravity dueling a thing. (Think Sonic Riders Zero Gravity type shit.)

He’s so obsessed that he actually figured out how to make gravity arcs and wears two prototypes as the bracelets he wears. (They glow like Momentum when in use!) He can essentially defy gravity as he pleases with them, but too much strain could possibly break them...

Even though he’s always in ARGH STABBITY DEATH mode 24/7, he’s very kind and caring to his closest friends and his family. Talk shit about either of his dads (or mom in Akiza, it’s complicated) and he’s liable to use his Gravity Arcs for lethal retaliation.

Banka’s arm tattoos aren’t tattoos, they’re markings that was fused onto him as a kid due to a childhood encounter with a strange mirror. He was missing for a week and woke up with them on his arms and no memory of the incident. They can detach and act as extra limbs. (And if I had to explain what happened to him in full, we’d be here all day lmaoooo :’D)

Banka goes by Nova as an alias while he’s leading his gang (This canon is where Jet Set Radio meets Card Games!) known as the Dead Suns. He even looks different while going under his Nova persona, but I don’t have that design down pat quite yet!

Lastly for now, Banka plays a Ritual Deck with a new archetype: Alternations. Basically deck that’s based on Urban Legend/Creepypastas that do burn damage through various means. His ace is Alternation False Angel, and some other notable monsters are Alternation Grin Hound, Alternation Justitia, and Alternation Dead Star Dragon.

Crow x Brave is a rarepair. I don’t care how many works they have on AO3 most of the fics are written by the same people. One of them being me.

Plus there is not a lot of ship art of them either.

Most people ship Crow with Sherry or Akiza or just keep him single (in the style of Ryan from High School Musical.)
