But it's so easy to do while doing almost anything else (that let's you use a hand for a sec every 30 secs or so) that it's just $7 you're leaving on the table if you don't do it.

You also get 2 cents cash back for purchases if you link a card. They have random offers for $4 if you do x thing, games you earn 1 cent a minute for playing, etc. But I mainly just get my 25 cents each day.

Mistplay - referral in link (android only)

This is the main one I use. You play games on an android device and earn units you can then buy giftcards with. This is good if on SSI because it doesn't go to your bank account! But it does have paypal as an option if that's not a concern. I've earned over $400 so far, and someone more dedicated could have earned more in the same time frame. (I don't want to burn out.)

7/9/2023 update:

Listened to japanese for 6+ hours - 2 hours Final Fantasy X let's play, .5 hour listening to TTS audiobook while reading along, .5 hour watching Dracula musical, 3 hours listening to glossika japanese (on audio 10)

Dracula Musical: i watched this maybe 2 years ago and I remember it motivated me to want to get back into learning Japanese. Because I could follow the main idea (which to be fair, its based on Dracula so of course I could guess mainly what was going on based on the Dracula scene it looked like). Well I watched some of it again tonight: MUCH better grasp of specifics now lol. I'm relying on Kanji words heavily (because I can guess them faster), but the overall effect is still wooh I can follow some lines completely and other lines the main idea at least. Which is a lot more than the last time I watched this! I found it on bilibili with Chinese and Japanese subs if any of you want to watch. Notable features: its a rock musical, Dracula is played by a woman, the 3 brides of Dracula are played by men, Dracula is in love with Mina (like the Coppula Dracula movie). It also has my favorite Dracula ending of the various versions I've seen of the story.

For the first chapter, I read through it first and looked up unknown words. I confirmed my guess, which is that a lot of the Kanji words (in combination with me being familiar with these chapters plots already) means I'm guessing these words correctly for the most part. The major new words I need to learn: hiragana words! And the "helper" words that use Kanji (and tend to be 4 characters, Kanji hiragana Kanji hiragana). Words like just, suddenly, at the same time, drew back/fell back, and (4 variants for and used!). I also noticed a few grammar patterns that i guess I never studied a grammar guide High enough to either study or understand. 1. Adjectives (or maybe it's adverbs the way they were used?) Were used actually quite similar to the -ly in English or -de in chinese. Id see a descriptive word then a regular grammar pattern and it'd be describing the thing after it. After a few pages it got a lot more obvious when I was looking at a descriptive (which makes life easier). 2. I have had a rough idea of japanese sentence grammar for YEARS at this point. But actually reading I think made it clearer how to rely on the particles, and how much SHITA, DATTA, DEKITA, and SHI after verbs in the middle of sentences, crop up! I mean yeah they're all basic beginner class words. But just like English, do, was, did, doing are real fucking useful. Idk it wasn't like learning something new so much as reading enough I am able to notice This common pattern, which helps make it easier to single out and isolate hiragana only words that ARENT these and combination words that are HELPER words (like in the end, concluded, and then, just, suddenly) that I still need to learn. So basically, brute force making myself read IS Helping with improving my ability to parse words (which again is critical for figuring out hiragana words from conjugation and helper words from descriptives). 3. Word order was not actually as big a deal as... I guess ever? Maybe I've just listened to enough japanese I'm used to it. There was only two sentence where order confused me and it was a long ass descriptive sentence of Da Qing looking like a flattened fat persimmon and denting the car hood and saying it smells like a bomb dropped how did yunlan not notice, and the long ass description of Zhao yunlans messy room including all the items and how even a pig would be offended by being compared to its level of mess. Because I've read the novel I knew those parts so it wasn't too confusing, but they were very long sentences and I think I'd have been lost if it was a brand new novel to me.

Any time you do anything on a website, a desktop application, a mobile app, etc. the thing you're using knows that you're using it, and could, if it wanted to, send messages to someone else saying "User X just opened this phone game, and clicked these four buttons". In a promotional video, two shopping creators working for Meta explained how influencers can now “more prominently display” products they are marketing in Reels. But the tool includes data from only a select number of countries—mostly in Europe—and doesn’t cover what ads TikTok users may have seen in the United States. The prompt appears to be connected to a feature Meta launched last month that allows users to display their YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram handles and follower counts on Facebook. TikTok announced it was coming back online in the US on January 19, after president-elect Donald Trump signaled he would sign an executive order following his inauguration the next day extending the deadline for the new law to take full effect. Rust Compiler Performance Triage

Even though the summary might not look like it, this was actually a relatively quiet week, with a few small regressions. The large regression that is also shown in the summary table was caused by extending the verification of incremental compilation results. However, this verification is not actually fully enabled by default, so these regressions are mostly only visible in our benchmarking suite, which enables the verification to achieve more deterministic benchmarking results. One small regression was also caused by enabling frame pointers for the Rust standard library, which should improve profiling of Rust programs.

How to Fix BlueStacks Problems

Error 1: Incompatible Windows Settings Error Message

While using the Android 11 (Beta) or Nougat (32-bit) versions of BlueStacks 5, you will get the “incompatible Windows settings”pop-up message. Also, you can get an error message that reads; your Operating System is not supporting Nougat 32-bit/Android 11 (Beta) when creating a new Instance. This happens on the Windows system with Hyper-V, which has enabled Microsoft’s hardware visualization product.

Solutions to Fix the Issue

The first method is to utilize a different version of the BlueStacks emulator. Move to the official BlueStacks download page and hit the Download a specific version tab. Choose either Nougat 64-bit or Pie 64-bit; these versions support Hyper-V.

If you wish to use the latest version of Android (Android 11 Beta), you must disable Hyper-V on the system. Launch the Control Panel, hit the Programs tab, and pick Turn Windows features on or off. On the menu, untick Hyper-V, Windows Hypervisor Platform, Virtual Machine Platform, Windows Sandbox, and Windows Subsystem for Linux. You should restart the PC. Launch BlueStack to check if it works.

Sometimes, users might also need to disable Memory Integrity. Move to the Setting tab, choose Privacy & Security> Windows security, and tap the Open Windows security button. Error 2: Device isn’t Compatible with this Device Message When Installing Apps

Sometimes, users may get a “device is not compatible with this device” message while downloading apps via the Play Store in BlueStacks.

Solutions to Solve the Error

The best method to solve this issue is to change the device profile. In the BlueStacks emulator, launch the Settings menu under Predefined profile, move to Device, and select another device from the list. If you cannot open BlueStacks, dedicate more RAM to the app and CPU cores. Launch the BlueStacks Multi-instance Manager and hit the Settings tab. Navigate to the Performance tab and choose High (4 cores) under the CPU allocation tab and High (4GB) under the Memory allocation tab. BlueStacks suggests the settings for the graphic-intensive games. If users can open BlueStacks but have difficulty launching a game, they can switch the allocation within the app. Launch the BlueStacks setting, move to the Performance tab, and select these settings. Also, you can pick the Custom option and allocate more RAM and cores, but confirm that you do not allow all the RAM and CPU cores to BlueStacks. Also, choose the High-Performance option from the performance mode list. Hit the Save Changes tab and relaunch the app.
