Also, here's a version where I edited into a very limited pallete & used dithering, as well as a version where the output went wrong.
Take this shitty mspaint doodle I drew while Security Breach was installing.
#em.txt#I hadn't actually seen the characters beyond the teaser images like half a year ago when i orignally drew it#& i rushed & colored this in 9 minutes tops#i think it's cute.#mostly the edit was made possible by the orignal being a limited pallette -- those are default Ms paint colors#also you can see both edits have errors. the stagger effect shows how I output the edited images -- basically chopping the image into panels#then stitching them together again except here i put in the columns & rows backwards making it stagger oddly#in the correct output there's still an error -- roxy's ear tip is a different color.#partway through coloring I decided to give her different colors & when i looked through for roxy panels#didn't realize that triangle bit was her ear & didn't know to edit it#& in both incorrect & correct output versions the bottom part of the image is missing#somewhere in there i deleted the bottom several panels.#i think what actually happened is i accidentally deleted the last panel & didn't realize for a while#so rather than redoing the image or stitching in a new panel i just deleted that entire row
