Still not normal about past OFA users so new au!
Revived OFA Users but they got revived on the first day of UA. And before they could really establish that they're the past OFA Users, Izuku ran past them because he was running late. All he really said was sorry to the three people he bumped into and sorry to the seven other people he bumped into. So now we just have the Seven Users being so confused on what happened and trying to figure out the world they live in now.
They could contact the Eighth and the Ninth but thinking about it, that would be incredibly sketchy and would probably just raise more alarm bells. Plus they don't know the entire situation of the world and going to them immediately may go and make them targets so it's better to keep themselves secret for now. (Kudou and Bruce were very good at pointing that out.)
Also seeing Nana alive when Yagi saw her die would be a shock and would either lead to a very lovely reunion or the reasonable idea that someone is using an illusion Quirk on him. And then there's the other fact that Nana, En, and Banjou were heroes and are legally dead so you know. More risk of the wrong attention on them.
So how do they go and get information on the world today and not reveal their identities? Well Yoichi would say they go and look in the library and research there! And for a week or so they did do that and they get a good grasp on what's happening in the world and they even got new clothes because god forbid they just stay in the clothes they were in. They learn about USJ and oh. Oh that's worrying. A creature with multiple Quirks? Perhaps All For One isn't as dead as everyone hoped he was.
Meanwhile in terms of research, Bruce did the more...impulsive and sketchy decision.
(Nana: Bruce is that Toshinori!? Did you fucking kidnap Toshinori!?
Bruce: It is very easy to kidnap him. It is so easy Nana you don't get it. You just drug him and then I asked Banjou and Shinomori for help and welp. Here we are. He was even in All Might form. Nana he is so reckless and trusting.
Nana: You kidnapped him!
Bruce: Yes and...now that I'm thinking about it maybe those two were right about this being a bad idea.)
So the OFA Users accidentally kidnapped All Might. Whoops. And then the moment Yagi woke up Bruce may have panicked and fucking drugged him again and then Yoichi panicked and may have said that the Seven are villains and oh. Oh this is such a bad start.
Kudou has the biggest headache ever and remembers why he was the one with the Braincell. How could they have fucked it up this badly!? At least he can do damage control as the Braincell of the group.
And then En points out that Kudou kidnapped All For One's brother after being sent to kill him and is now dating him, seduced two of All For One's closest Commanders and has one of them still dating him to this day while he broke up with the other on text, and then finally he pointed out how Kudou did not go and help with the Villain thing as he kept on making vague threats to Yagi so you know. I don't think the any of the three have a singular Braincell among them.
It's even worse as everyone starts leaning in on it and it gets worse as the media starts picking up on it because. Fuck they kidnapped All Might! Forget whatever the hell happened in USJ! Some people kidnapped All Might and all they asked for was information! What are these Seven people planning!?
(If you ask All Might he would say that it was the nicest kidnapping ever. He was of course on edge and you know being drugged sucks but they were generally friendly and one of them felt...familiar somehow? He isn't sure of it. He doesn't think they're villains, or at least the villains that people make them out to be. It is however hard to go and justify why they kidnapped him though.)
Meanwhile the Seven OFA Users are all screaming internally at this and then decided that okay. Sure. Sure we'll work with this. They can work with this and become Villains or Vigilantes, figure out if All For One is alive, and somehow they now have one-upped the League of Villains in terms of news coverage and for danger level. Great. Okay.
Anyways, this is the story on how the past One For All Users accidentally became villains. Or at least the very loose definition of the word "villain"

awww poor Yoichi :(
Hmm, do you have any immortal headcanons?
I felt so sorry for him the whole time I was writing that AU. But yes, I do have some immortal OFA users headcanons.
Note: This time, an immortality quirk got mixed in with stockpile, so the users all had to fake their deaths. The headcanons go from there.
Yoichi had fun writing the books he always wanted to write, but under a pseudonym of course. His brother hates his books of course and vows to hunt down the author. (Yoichi does change pseudonyms and stuff every few years)
Also, once every few years, Yoichi will get HOOKED on some trend. It lasts about twice as long as it takes for the trend to die down.
Second married Yoichi and while he wanted to just steal what they needed; Yoichi convinced him to get money in a more ethical way. So, he became a mechanic. The only bad thing is they have to move every few years as they look the same age they were when they passed on OFA. Like the vampires in Twilight.
I headcanon Third as aro/ace, so this is a duoholders universe.
Also, Third becomes a therapist. He figured he would be qualified after so many years being the therapist friend. And he is good at it, but he also runs into the Twilight issue. Even so, the 3 are never far apart from each other. Third does have his own place, but he's always there if the other two need anything and vice versa.
(I have a weird version of trioholders where, while the first two holders are romantically involved, their friendship with Third runs so deep, that if he died, they would be destroyed. Same with Yoichi and Second. They all need and understand each other in a way so deeply, it goes beyond any normal intimacy. Like, platonic soulmates I guess is the best word for that.)
Hikage lives in the woods. After 18 years of being chased around, he decided to fake his death and give OFA to Banjo. So, now he lives with the forest creatures in peace. Third still drags him out for the occasional family dinner though.
Banjo uses his extra immortal time to become talented at, not just normal hobbies, but really weird stuff like peeling a banana with his feet like a monkey. In addition to bothering Hikage, he decided to try his hand at a childhood dream and become a cowboy. That didn't work out, so he travels the world instead.
My headcanon for En is that he had 5 siblings, so immortality would give him a lot of grieving to do. However, I also headcanon him as a lover of reptiles and technology, so he used his immortal time to get acquainted with all the new tech coming out each year and finally get a pet chameleon. He also got a degree in Graphic Art. However, he chooses to make his money by doing commissions.
Nana did give away her son after her husband died, but only until she faked her death. Then she got him back, so Kotaro doesn't end up being as bad, but there's definitely still some tension between them as she didn't tell him about her plan. She hides away, with Gran Torino helping her try to raise Kotaro as normally as possible. Meaning his last name does end up changed because Torino adopts him, but he co-parents with Nana. It's complicated. At least Hana and Tenko are happy children with grandparents who spoil them and a better dad. Nobody wants to be on the bad side of both Nana and Gran Torino.
Toshinori did not know about the immortality thing. Nana forgot to tell him, and he just thought his master had really good genes. So, he has the same knowledge in canon. In fact, his life is pretty much like canon, as they figured it was best that he goes to America for a bit to keep AFO away from Nana's hiding place. He also gets into the same fight with AFO, but sustains the same damage. You see, the immortality quirk doesn't keep them from getting hurt, it just keeps them from dying.
Oh yeah, remember the family dinners Hikage gets dragged to? Those are between every OFA user. Toshinori just thinks they're historians who love to joke around. He has to believe it at this point. At least they only happen once a year, unless there's an emergency, like a new user or a faked death. Or, AFO dying (is he dead?)
Then Toshinori brings Izuku to OFA family dinner. Cue the awing over the new user (who looks oddly familiar). There was some worry over how Izuku would adjust to the quirk, but they all assumed All Might had it figured out. That man was taught by someone who beat the crap out of him daily. All Might did not have it figured out.
(After the AFO fight, the other users convinced All Might to get a hobby or something, so he decided to try and get the credentials to become a teacher, because he always loved children. The credits to become a kindergarten teacher that is, so the jump to high school is still going to take some adjustment. Not to mention training a middle school boy to handle a quirk you gave them. I don't think there's a book on that.)
After the entrance exams, out of worry for their new user, all the vestiges move to the Musutafu area around UA to help with Izuku's training. The users get along great with Inko (who was told about OFA.) And Yoichi's brother and Inko's husband sure have a lot of similarities. What a coincidence...
From here they get upto all sorts of school-themed hijinks, but I'll let you imagine them. (The eventual meeting with Aizawa is always a fun one to imagine)
Uh... this did not turn out how I thought it would. It was supposed to be random headcanons and not a story outline. I did keep some stuff vague on purpose. Anyway, I hope you liked it :)

After Yoichi dies Second starts realizing he has a lot of gaps in his memories and people recall interacting with him while he has no recollection of the incident. Third notices sometimes Second acts different than usual. The reason why is Yoichi is able to possess any OFA holder and make them do as he pleases, and he's willing to do whatever it takes to stop his brother.
Ooo, Yoichi is going to be very evil in this one.
1. This universe started as Duoholders, with Yoichi dating Second. Third was a good friend to both of them, though he liked to tease Second about becoming All for One's brother-in-law. Yoichi made a pass at Third once and suggested a threesome, but Third turned him down. Second and Third always treated each other like family, not a romantic prospect. But after Yoichi dies, suddenly "Second" is flirting with Third overly aggressively. He's even using cutesy pickup lines, which were more Yoichi's thing. Initially Third thinks that it's the trauma talking. He feels very uncomfortable but laughs it off and hopes they can go back to normal.
2. "Second" is suddenly a lot more aggressive about pursuing All for One. He no longer seems to care about causalities among their people or civilians, as long as he can kill win. Third also thinks this is trauma at first. When Third finally confronts Second and gives him a big "What the hell man, pull yourself together and stop acting like a dick!" speech, Second is very confused. It turns out Second doesn't remember giving any of those orders and he's horrified with the notion that he hit on Third.
3. Second doesn't want to believe badly of the person he loved. Third figures it out faster. Doing some digging into Yoichi's past, Third learns that Yoichi got in trouble repeatedly at school for violence. Once Yoichi stabbed out another student's eye with a pencil because he claimed the other kid was a bully. The school considered this grossly disproportionate and expelled him. Yoichi's book reports reveal he has a very black and white view of good and evil, and he considers any actions justified to fight "evil."
4. Some background that Third doesn't know: this is another AU where yandere runs in the family, but AFO is a familial yandere and Yoichi is a romantic yandere with an obsession with both Second and Third. Yoichi is also a sociopath who got his morals from comic books, but not in a cracky way, in a way where his sense of right and wrong is completely distorted. AFO was overly obsessive and did stick Yoichi in a bank vault. However, Yoichi didn't admit to his rescuers that before his imprisonment he'd poisoned and killed dozens of his brother's followers, because in Yoichi's eyes, if you're a villain then you deserve to die. This included people unknowingly working for All for One's civilian businesses.
5. After what he learns, Third tries to rally the vigilantes against Yoichi but they do not believe their leader is possessed. Yoichi can be very charming. Then Third tries to flee, but Yoichi catches him and forces OFA on him. Afterward, Yoichi goes to deliberately die at AFO's hands so that he can keep Second in the Void and possess Third by controlling his body. Yoichi is smiling when he dies in Second's body because he told his brother all about his plan moments before his death. By the way, Second is screaming inside from pain and betrayal. This is even worse for Second than Third because he truly loved Yoichi.
6. Yoichi continues to manipulate all of his successors as puppets against his brother. Including the ninth, his nephew...

Okay, what about the "You get seduced by an illusion of your deepest desire and it turns out to be your crush" trope for the ask game.
An AU where Second works for AFO but has a huge crush on his brother, who occasionally comes by with snacks and kind words for the workers. One day, as part of training, AFO uses a quirk that shows people their deepest desires and says that as part of training they have to resist whatever pops up.
Imagine the look on his face when Yoichi appears.
What fun! Oh no, how will I keep AFO from ending this AU early by murdering Second?
1. In this AU, AFO focused more on good publicity to keep his little brother on his side. Since AFO has a reputation as a fighter for metahuman rights, Second also joined AFO's side. However Second used to be a thief when he lived on the streets, so as a result he's allowed into the shadier side of AFO's business. He helps transfer fishy packages but doesn't know the full extent of it.
2. AFO's plan worked a little too well because now Yoichi is absolutely desperate to be part of the family business and do good for the world. AFO doesn't want Yoichi uncovering his lies. So he gives Yoichi some busywork and puts him and his perfect hair on recruitment posters. (This works very well.) Yoichi regularly makes care packages for his brother's employees. Second is smitten at first sight. Being young and inexperienced, Second doesn't understand his own feelings or why he keeps saving the wrapping from Yoichi's gifts. He just really looks forward to the visits.
3. No matter the AU, AFO is still an obnoxious boss. So naturally, he comes up with stupid mandatory team-building activities that are really more about tormenting his employees. AFO decided to publicly reveal his employees greatest desires because he thought it would be funny to humiliate them. Training them to resist was just an excuse.
4. Second saw Yoichi's face and had several realizations about himself in a row. At this point, Second's life is in grave danger. However, he's saved from the wrath of an overprotective brother because...it turns out that every single employee attracted to men had Yoichi as their desire. And there were quite a few people for whom Yoichi was the exception to their sexuality. AFO made an enormous blunder by using Yoichi on his recruitment posters. Yes he had an employment boom, but at what cost? Fortunately there are so many dream Yoichis in the room that AFO can't tell who is attracted to his brother. Oh yeah, and some of the employees had fantasies about AFO too, possibly in a threesome with Yoichi. Those poor souls take the brunt of AFO's wrath (he'd kill them if he could figure out which dreams came from which people).
5. To make this all even more mortifying, Yoichi was also at the team-building exercise and flees when the dreams start popping up. Second figures Yoichi must have been embarrassed and follows him to apologize. However, Yoichi didn't actually see that everyone had a crush on him. Yoichi ran off because his own desire popped up--and it was Second.
6. When Second sees his own shadow chasing after Yoichi, there's shock, then a tearful mutual confession, then two people who skip off for a happy first date while AFO is still trying to figure out how he can fire all of his employees and still keep his business running. He can't, but everyone gets a big pay cut.
(All of these are free to use in my Three Weeks of Trioholders event.)
