If anyone is wondering (that i doubt, i bet the silence comes as a blessing) i am alive! I have successfully arrived to my first wwoof host Megumi-san. The way here was pretty mind melting. All around me these crazy mountains, the scenery is just like a Ghibli movie or more like that of Shinkai Makoto's Hoshi o ou kodomo (how handy i always know just the movie, right?) I always loved mountain areas but here it's absolutely ridiculously beautiful. And the small roads crossing all over is so cute! Anyways i was panicking (freaking surprising, right?) that my host might not come to pick me up and i will be stuck besides the highway but that thankfully didn't happen. (She didn't check my mail so wtf) I got to this super cute typical japanese style house. It's pretty messy overall, you can see that the priority goes to the veggies not tot the house. But everything is super cute, including Gen-chan the doggo of the house. Oh and my room does come with a view to Fuji-san (when the weather is clean) The work is pretty much what i was looking for. oh boi is there a lot new experiences once i get my hands dirty? (and the literal dirty i mean...) I've seen more types but also number of bugs in the past 24 hours then in my whole entire 25 years. But thats fine i am very chill with doing these chores, picking vegetables washing them preparing them for the market pricing them etc. thats cool. Getting up at 3.40 is okay too. And what I thought I would not be okay with but i just go with it is never knowing what's happening. They don't really waste time on explaining that we are now going to go to the fileds or to the market. They only give me tasks when i ask for them, and it's like 'you should pick potatoes. Like man, have you seen me? I'm the stock photo of city girl (que tanaka saying city boy with terrible japanese accent sounding as 'shitty boi') i have no idea how to pick potatoes!! But as chill as i am with mostly everything they seem to be chill with my unknowingness. I'm more then curious to see how these 14 days will play out. But for a taste: i cut bamboo (like a 10 meter long bamboo to 80 cm pieces) picked carrots, zucchini, potatos and radishes. I cleaned them and put them into boxes which we took to the post (instead of my previous assumption of the market) i have walked gen-chan and besides that i just washed the dishes out of my good manners. Now its 9.26 and I already had a half hour nap. Eating rice for breakfast at 4 am was also an experience that i still need to wrap my head around. I have absolutely no idea what the rest of the day will be like but tbh i am fine laying around on my futon as i am effin CANKERED. Finally my body started to realize what the time is here and i woke it up at 3.40...
