i really like amy sedaris as an actress so it’s weird to me that her performance in the mandalorian is not "tatooine pit mechanic" but "self-aware comedienne playing a tatooine pit mechanic"

#the mandalorian #this show really is a few directorial adjustments away from being pretty good #i don't get why everyone talks so strangely but that element of strangeness isn't even particularly consistent #across different actors. everyone is just.... off #in their own unique ways #also why is the red astromech from episode IV here #fanservice like this is such a weird and obnoxious crutch!#star wars #the nicest things i can say about this season is that the production values are pretty great and it's not as bad as season two lol #faint praise ig
