I AM ADDICTED TO STARDEW IMPACT!!! Ngl tho I could use Xiaoā€™s stamina in the mines. Especially in the Wilderness farm.
What kind of farms did the boys and their s/o landed on tho??
Stardew Valley [Genshin Impact AU]
Tumblr media
Synopsis: Which farm suits their personality (Continuation of Stardew Impact <.<)
Characters: Diluc, Kaeya, Xiao, Zhongli, Childe, Albedo
Thank you! Iā€™m happy that you like it hehe. Honestly both Xiao and Zhongli. I still canā€™t get through Skull Cavern floor 100, Xiao would be super good at handling monsters while Zhongli can do some fast mining cuz Iā€™m out of bombs lol.
-----------------------
Diluc: Forest farm
Trees and secluded areas? Perfectly goes with that lone sojourner persona of his (you canā€™t convince me otherwise after this vid)
But consider his status as a wine owner, the forest farm is very appealing to him (most likely why the Dawn Winery was located near Wolvendom anyways), quality wood is extremely crucial for making kegs and barrels to store ingredients so they wonā€™t go bad. Diluc finds this map very profitable for his business.
This is why most of the buildings on your land is made of wood. Thank god he doesnā€™t have his pyro vision.
But Diluc genuinely likes the fragrance of trees. After a long day of work, he likes to go out and just inhale the scent of damp moss combined with the woody smell attached to it, his mind feels alleviated from all the stress that was piling up
Bonus: Fruit bats. Foraging is a must to make good wine and mushrooms are out of the question (for now)
Kaeya: Beach farm
Itā€™s the best place to get your suntans amirite? Honestly if this was a modern AU (which technically is), heā€™s totally the type of uni student to spend most of his weekends outside near the beach like the typical chad he is.
Plus he likes the variety, not just trees all the time because theyā€™re boring. He enjoys the vast space and the ability to just look at the horizon whenever he needs to. Itā€™s a habit of his. The sky holds many signs, it tells you the weather, shows you the time of day, it holds the stars in which determines the fate of humanity. Though...he doesnā€™t need to worry about those things anymore hmm?
Looks forwards to crates washing up onshore. Kaeya is very lucky actually (pirateā€™s luck?) Rather than mixed seeds (cuz fuck those), expect him to bring back some triple shot expressos, omnigeodes, artifact troves etc...
He was so lucky he once tried his luck at the casino. But stopped shortly after you found out and got mad at him.
Bonus: Mushroom cave. He heard you can make some very useful potions with them, or he can try mixing it with his wine.
Xiao: Riverland farm (what I chose uwu)
Thereā€™s something so serene about this environment. The type of guy just likes to chill by a river stream while sitting on top of a tree branch. Xiao uses the noise almost like a meditative practice, something he most likely did back in Liyue too. He can close his eyes and listen to it for hours.
Since this map is mainly good for fishing, it works generously in his favour. He can refill the water can whenever he needs to since watering crops is the only farm-related activity he can actually handle. Heā€™s rather quite good at catching fish (although in a peculiar way) plus feeding them to your pet cat.
But Xiao dislikes how easily materials fall into the water. While he was chopping the trees down to clear out some space, it toppled down the wrong side and he lost most of the materials. Forever. Ugh, what a pain.
At least itā€™s less likely to be a mess. Through seasons, rocks and fallen trees tend to pile up. Thanks to the river taking up most of the space, he wouldnā€™t have to worry about clearing up land so much.
Bonus: Mushroom cave. Not because he likes mushrooms but he dislikes bats. Their constant squeaking is annoying.
Zhongli: Standard farm
Vanilla guy through and through. His taste in things tend to be very plain in general but as long as they meet the necessary requirements of what makes a perfect farm then thereā€™s no need to complain. He takes farm work very seriously so it makes sense that he gets picky of what there is to offer.
The amount of land gets him very enthusiastic about how he wants to decorate it (he literally formed the land of Liyue so surely he must have some architect related knowledge). Has barns, coops, vineyards, seasonal crops grouped in an organized fashion.
Though that also means a lot of maintenance is required. Clean up, clearing the fern, fixing up broken fences. Many broken fences because he puts fences all over the place.
But because heā€™s so good at what he does, you guys make so much money. Perfectly balances his super-spending habit of his.
Bonus: Fruit bats. Mushrooms donā€™t have a very pleasant smell.
Childe: Wilderness farm
Are you surprised? Because Iā€™m not. He can have combating activities for days. Childe is very adventurous at heart (hence why he joined the adventures guild) with bloodthirst that needs to be quenched.
This is why his combat level high (though itā€™s already high). He normally takes on treasure hoarders or mitachurls to test his abilities, the variety of monsters proved to be very entertaining to him. Vincent became his number 1 fan after listening to all the cool tales about him.
Itā€™s very inconvenient for farm work though, you can never be too sure when a slime is about to jump on your back as youā€™re planting your seeds. The only plus side is that Childe helps you get some cool drops (including prismatic shards!) which can save you time with the community center.
Not ideal for fishing. Often you guys end up catching trash. You complain a lot and he begins to get annoyed with how many interruptions they bring. Well, it was fun while it lasted at least.
Bonus: Mushroom cave. Heā€™ll need healing potions, lots of them.
Albedo: Hill-top farm
Not too much land, rivers arenā€™t too much either, everything was just right. The right amount of environment for cultivating his materials for his research. Albedo thinks the elevating platforms are pretty neat, very easy to locate the different areas when you can spot them easily.
A fan of studying the rocks of this world hence why this farmland is good for mining. Though the downfall was that not much farm work could be done, Albedo could care less unless crops were raised for formulas.
You will always find him outside, most likely by the southwest hilltop trying to gather precious ores and any signs of omnigeodes. After that, he goes to Rasmodiusā€™ tower and conducts his experiments there. Albedo is restless ever since.
But the gifts you receive will always be interesting. You also like go mining in the caves, Albedo always crafts the necessary tools for you beforehand. You will never have to worry about missing anything.
Bonus: both. Mushroom and bats. Demetrius told him it was impossible, not like it was an issue anymore.

Morning Routine (Quarantine Edition)
Around a decade ago, my morning routine was peaceful. Iā€™d wake up, make my bed, take a shower, eat a heavy breakfast, get ready to leave for school, and be well on my way there. It was seamless. Sure, getting up is a struggle at 5 AM but itā€™s nothing compared to what I go through now. Most days, I donā€™t even have to be up till 7 AM the earliest!
Through the years since finishing high school and having my own crazy college schedule (call time at 7 AM and leave uni later than 7 PM) my morning routine changed little by little until I can no longer call it aĀ ā€œroutine.ā€Ā It became more like an ā€œI-just need-to-get-there-in-one-pieceā€ situation, and itā€™s contributed to a couple of short term successes but itā€™s now beginning to feel detrimental to my health in the long run. Iā€™d be lucky if I get to finish my small cup of coffee before dashing out the door.
Day 25 of lockdown
Iā€™ve made small changes to my morning routine since starting WFH and almost instantly I started noticing my improved mood and increased productivity throughout the day. My biggest enemy so far from getting things done at work/school/home is my newly rekindled love for GTA V Online. I admit that some days Iā€™d slip from doing my normal morning routine and just play video games for 4 hours straight without ever seeing the sun rise and set. I let myself have those days because I am in a more relaxed state currently but I trust Iā€™ll get my head straight again when the quarantine is over.
It is worth mentioning that these are personal tidbits that may or may not work for you. If you feel like you are totally not a morning person, there is no sense in trying to make your morning productive while making your evening suffer - the actual time when youā€™re actually productive.Ā
Wake up to something that excites you
Isnā€™t it easier to wake up and get your feet on the ground when youā€™re about to do/have something that youā€™re looking forward to? May it be listening to your favorite songs (although I donā€™t recommend setting that tune as your alarm clock), or reading that first good news article of the day, or simply checking your phone to see how your friends and family are doing on social media. Pretty much anything that works for you!
I instantly grab my phone first thing in the morning because I also use it as my alarm clock. If youā€™re one like me, I refrain from browsing social media in bed because it turns into an endless spiral of stuff to browse. Instead, I learn Spanish using DuoLingo. When I reach my goal XP for the day, I get off the bed and go about the day. I also find it helpful to drink a good amount of water first thing in the morning because I feel like it further energizes me.
My boyfriend wakes up around an hour after I do so a few minutes before he does, I slightly open the bedroom door so that light goes in the room. I also have hot coffee brewing by that time so he wakes up to the smell of coffee.
It is important to set a time to wake up and to be consistent with it. I have not established that with myself because throughout my work and school duties I have varying call times. However, this is one of the things that Iā€™ve improved on since the lockdown.
Do light chores
I moved out of my momā€™s place (or she moved out and I signed a new lease for the place) when I was 19. Responsibilities started piling up as soon as she left and I was overwhelmed with it because I also now had to fend for myself while living in one of the most expensive cities in the world.
Because of this overloading stress, I came up with a rule for myself: If it just takes 5 minutes to do it, DO IT NOW.
This rule saved me a lot of trouble. I apply it to my morning routine now. May it be washing the dishes that were left from dinner, if any. Making the bed. Clearing up the couch of clutters. Putting away my catā€™s toys back up in her tree. If I do all three, that would still just account to less than 15 minutes of my morning and I already have a lovelier and cozier space to come home to at the end of the day.
If we let these things pile up, thatā€™s when it can trigger a stressful situation. Doing this little by little makes a huge difference.
Breakfast
After a light clean up, I am now ready to make some more mess! HAHA!Ā
My breakfasts are quite simple meals. I usually make avocado toast or just avocado + milk + sugar eaten like a cereal (and healthier than cereal). I grew up Filipino so I also donā€™t have any issue eating dinner food for breakfast so sometimes Iā€™ll just heat up what I had from the day before. On days when I have to run out quick, I eat yogurt or baby carrots dipped in hummus, then have a better meal near my workplace.Ā
I am aware that this is an area that I can definitely still improve on andI am actively working towards it every day.Ā
Shower and Get Dressed
This is the one of the biggest struggle for me since WFH - even if Iā€™m aware that I have more productivity on days that I do. Itā€™s so simple to do, too. Ughh!
Before quarantine when dressing up, Iā€™m comforted by the fact that Iā€™ve significantly downsized my closet. I routinely check for clothes that I never wear but somehow still own and I put them in a ā€œdonateā€ or ā€œsellā€ pile then bring them to a donation center when itā€™s a decent amount. I am currently waiting for nicer weather and end of quarantine for me to do my garage sale as well. Because of my reduced choices of clothing in the morning, I felt less stressed when dressing up. Most of my clothes match with almost all of the other pieces which make my dress-up time less and coffee/relax time more.
Drink water often (throughout the day)
Water is magical. I donā€™t know how to emphasize this more to anyone who would listen. However, I still know a couple of people that would just refuse to drink water. Maybe itā€™s about their way of drinking water.
Most of my clients when I work in home cases have their own sparkling water makers at home. If you feel like this can help you hydrate more, then itā€™s worth investing in a machine for your long term health. The price is quite hefty for me and luckily I already enjoy drinking filtered water as it is. My mom adds lemon to her ice cold water and says she enjoys it better that way. The best help that I discovered when upping my water intake was my choice of tumbler. Iā€™m currently using a tumbler with straw that is very easy to fill up and sip from and also very easy to clean. Because the tumbler is always beside me wherever I am in my home, I always get to drink just whenever I need to. Iā€™d say since, Iā€™ve been taking sips at least every 15 minutes even while deeply immersed in my work.
I find that drinking water also keeps me in good spirits. Like I said, water is magical. Just like how taking a shower almost instantly makes me look forward to being productive, so does drinking water.Ā
Short Workout
This one depends on the morning I have scheduled, but Iā€™ll still put this one up here since we are on lockdown and I am highly consistent so far.
My favorite people to follow are Fitness Blender (especially on workout I do with my boyfriend) and BodyFit by Amy. I like workouts that I can follow and with well explained reasons why a certain move is beneficial. These two mentioned are amazing at that. I also donā€™t do too much cardio and instead I focus on resistance training. Through the years, Iā€™ve been actively working on getting my weight up and Iā€™ve read a couple of sources that advise on doing light cardio and focusing more on building strength = muscles.
I know it sounds like a lot for a morning routine but all this (except workout) just takes less than 2 hours. I donā€™t like rushing through my mornings - even if it means I have to wake up waaaay earlier than normal people would - but I find that this way I get to keep calm for the whole day; because I prepared myself for it.
Good morning!
