i used to think i was faceblind bc irl i had difficulty picking out features but i think it was just due to not liking eye contact bc ive always been really good at telling celebrities apart
#i will say im a little better about it now too but having distinct features still helps#i get a lot of customers who assume i remember them and i feel bad when i dont#bc i do remember lots of people!#but a lot of people just are very mundane#interestingly some people have local dopplegangers too#where i can tell them apart but theyre so similar to another specific person i always am reminded of one when i see the other#but everyone knows me bc i look so specific#yet at the same time i constantly get told people see MY dopplegangers#i think ppl just see a dark haired white person w glasses#also this one dude tried to convince me he saw me eating in whataburger lately?#i have not eaten inside a whataburger in like 3 years and it was several dozen miles away#and the last times i went inside one i def didnt speak to anyone
