Hyperactive (With slight homicide)

This is my first post on Tumblr (not my first post overall as I have Wattpad, but I'll post my username here when I've added my Klarion one-shots on there unless people want it lmao

You grabbed his interest when you were hanging out with your friends near the old cinema.

He seemed intrigued at first when even Teekl became slightly amused by your hyper personality.

Klarion may or may not have stalked you for a bit because of that

Eventually, Klarion did admit you seemed fun to Teekl, and wanted to get to you know you better in person.

Both of you finally met each other when you were walking around the harbour, taking photos of the sea and the horizon even if you knew you would delete them later.

Teekl thought this would be a great time for Klarion to introduce himself to you.

She half prayed that Klarion wouldn't freak you out, and the other half wanting you to not make Klarion too annoyed.

Somehow, it went really well.... A bit too well, as you two then talked as if you had known each other for years

Lets just say, you're both extremely hyper. I mean, it's Klarion.

You being a hyperactive person and him having chaos magic while also wanting mischief? It's a perfect yet dangerous match.

Teekl rethinks her choice about you two being together, as she now has to deal with two children and not one.

This also means that the Light have to deal with another 'kid' as well, since Klarion will definitely bring you to at least one meeting.

They're a bit cautious about you on first impression, not too sure if you're using Klarion to get information about the Light

But after a while, they see how much you deal with when you're with Klarion, and figure out that no one can put up a façade for that long

Yeah, even the Light know that you're one hyper son-of-a-b*tch

I wouldn't say you're obnoxiously loud, it's just being in a Light meeting no one is really talking except you, so it's dead quiet other than that. Nevertheless, you can be extremely deafening without realising it

Klarion's magical powers gives you a lot more freedom when being with him. Like, a lot more freedom, he's a lord of Chaos, you basically have no limits.

You can now do all the crazy sh*t you've ever wanted to do with Klarion by your side, and he's more than willing to join you in whatever ideas you have

A couple of times Teekl has to warn him that you're still a mortal, so he does lay off a bit from time to time to avoid getting you seriously injured

If you do get hurt, Klarion is gunna freak tf out, trying to play it off cool but failing

All adventures go out the window if you get hurt. And if you try to get up saying "I'm fine", he'll magically trap you in your bed to rest.

Don't test him, he will do it

A lot of things may break, and it's whether or not Klarion will fix it with his powers or not after... Probably not, it's not like either of you really care

If the Young Justice team do meet you, it's because you were in a forest with Klarion, messing around while climbing from branch to branch in the trees while Klarion floated next to you

The two of you were ambushed by the team, as Zatanna had sensed Klarion's power in that area while the team were nearby

They would have saved you, but you're surprisingly very good at climbing trees for any of them to grab hold of you, something that actually made them impressed

Klarion was very unhappy, so unhappy that you had to mention about going back home to hang out there to calm him down

Couple of times you'd wander off too far that Klarion isn't able to find you and would have to teleport you to him in order to know where you are, the only big thing that does get him slightly annoyed.

^ If you can make Klarion take responsibility (other than over Teekl) and act like a parent, my respect goes to you

You two don't have any rules apart from when you're injured, although there is one thing that bugs you both

2 hyper devils + "Calm down"= Death stare with Klarion hexing whoever said that

No one is allowed to tell you guys to calm down

You met each other like the first one, except that you seemed more wanting to go into danger and edge your friends into doing bad things than actually have fun

This time, Klarion was intrigued before Teekl

He noticed your cold yet intense gaze on everyone that was near you

Something about you was odd. Klarion knew that but he didn't know what was making you seem so odd

It's not until you become best friends that he finally realises your love for murder

While you got along with Klarion before him knowing this, wow he's ecstatic that he finally knows what seemed off with you

He tempts you into murder as well, seeing that you showed to be very refrained from not doing anything about your homicidal thoughts

Catches on very quickly how manipulative you can be with your friends, friends that Klarion now wants to be your first kills

Unsurprisingly, it doesn't take that much convincing from Klarion to make you agree to killing your soon-to-be-dead mates

He helps of course, trapping them all and giving you all sorts of weapons to use on them

It's like a holiday for both of you

You even asked Klarion at one point to make their screams quieter since they were annoying you

And after you had finishing butchering your friends, Klarion realised that he like-liked you and confessed right there

Yep, Klarion did just admit to liking you while standing in the middle of dead bodies scattered around at your feet

Soon after that, you both start doing more destruction together

Limits? F*ck no

Hell, if you asked for half of the moon to be destroyed, Klarion would snap his fingers and bam, moon gone.

One time you asked Klarion to give you powers like superman, just so you could fly and mess around in the city

It started off as just throwing cars as far as you could, not exactly caring if people were inside or not

Which then turned into full blown 'lemme jump/crash into one sky scrapper to another', looking like a monkey swinging from vines in a jungle

While the heroes didn't enjoy your hyper and destructive personality nor Klarion, the news loved you. The amount of reports you and Klarion got in the news just boosted both of your ego's

"Double trouble strikes again!" "Witch boy causes havoc with anonymous villain" "League fail to stop villains, have they met their match?" "Criminals cause devastating downfall on the city" "61 lives lost in under an hour" You felt prideful in the last one, a new record in your books

If you two ever go out to have dates, it'll 100% always end with something, mostly a building, being completely destroyed

Whenever the 'kiddie' team as Klarion calls them, or the Justice League come; they're always too late to stop you two

Even if Batman claims they were so close to stopping you, he's wrong. The heroes don't even manage to get you two to notice them arriving, already going off to have some fun somewhere else

You've mentioned about wanting to kill at least one of the heroes out of spite and because you felt like it on multiple occasions

Klarion would love to snap his fingers to have every hero there for you to choose from, yet he couldn't do that because of Vandal wanting some of them alive. Especially Lex with Superboy.

You get along nicely with the Light, as they trust you enough to know that you can calm Klarion down and that you're classed as a criminal

Occasionally, you have unnerved them with the gory deaths about some of your kills, Klarion kissing your cheek out of pure happiness from hearing the defined details

Teekl doesn't really care about it as long as you get the blood off her fur if you get any on her later.

A lot of lives are lost when you two are together... Which is all the time

(Secretly, the young justice team have envied how much freedom you get when with Klarion-> This is after they have to tidy up the mess you two make)

Sorry if this isn't very good, literally made this and posted it the same day. I've loved Klarion's character for quite a long time now and saw that, although the fanfics are good, there isn't a lot of them. I'm down for requests, but right now I don't think I can do many. You can send me stuff and I'll write it down, just don't be upset if I don't post it in the next week or two. If this isn't up to your standards then srry aha, I realise I don't add much fluff and focus more on the storyline, but there's always room for improvement tho✌️

SPN 1x06 “Skin”

Okay, I’m gonna try to type while I watch this time instead of forgetting this blog exists until the episode is almost over.

You can tell the footage for the previously on segment was saved on a VHS copy instead of the original film that the show was shot with because even in the HD iTunes version I have it looks low quality as fuck. And jumpy in the way that brings me back to my teens watching the WB all the damn time.

I love this song. WTF is this song. Shazam says “Good Deal” by Mommy and Daddy. I… have no comment, except that it sounds like everything I was listening to in college at the time this shit was airing.

Aaaaand not!Dean turns around to face the SWAT team after obviously torturing some woman. THAT is a cold open.

I wanna know what that car is in the background. It’s pretty. Maybe a convertible Impala? They have similar grills. This is not at all important.

Also, I love that with these higher definition versions of the episodes you can see that Sam’s email is lawboy and whatever dot com and that people in the fandom have started calling him Law Boy. It’s hilarious.

DEAN: Well, what exactly do you tell ‘em? You know, about where you’ve been, what you’ve been doin’?

SAM: I tell ‘em I’m on a road trip with my big brother. I tell ‘em I needed some time off after Jess.

DEAN: Oh, so you lie to ‘em.

SAM: No. I just don’t tell ‘em….everything.

Of course Sam made friends with a bunch of rich kids while he was at college in a desperate attempt to try to be normal.

SAM: Well, me, not much. But Dean’s a cop. (DEAN laughs.)

DEAN: Detective, actually.

I love that Dean was like “how dare you call me that.”

Okay, after a bit of research, I totally want to take a day trip to Bisbee, Arizona, but it’s already in the 90s here in the desert and it’s not even May so that trip is going to have to wait until… winter or something. There is no way in hell I’m going deeper into the desert when the weather gets hotter.

It’s a historic mining town tourist trap looking place now which is exactly the kind of shit I love.

SAM: Bec, look, I know Zack didn’t do this. Now, we have to find a way to prove that he’s innocent.

I mean, not technically, technically you would 1) NOT FUCK WITH A MURDER INVESTIGATION YOU’RE NOT LEGALLY INVOLVED IN BECAUSE ANYTHING YOU FIND WOULD BE INADMISSABLE IN COURT 2) find evidence to provide a reasonable doubt for the jury that he did commit the crime. You know, like a lawyer would need to do, Law Boy.

DEAN: I just don’t think this is our kind of problem.

When I made my husband watch this show with me (he’s seen it all at least once now over the years) this is the recurring thing that drove him crazy.

You guys can’t even go in through the back door? Or shut the front door behind you? Really?

REBECCA: (tearfully) Well, there’s no sign of a break-in. They say that Emily let her attacker in.

Yeah, that doesn’t even really mean that she knew her attacker. Just that it was someone she let her guard down around or got in some other way. See: The Son of Sam and Nightstalker, etc.

Love the pinup magnet on the fridge. I’d throw shade at that, but I have a pinup magnet on my fridge too so… pot kettle and all that.

Okay, both people in the next couple are gorgeous.

And oh wow those special effects changing eyes… wow.

This poor couple. I feel so bad for them in this episode.

How… how are the police gonna explain the way he was able to beat himself over the head with a bat??? I…

I love that 5:30 in the morning on TV is clearly like… 10 AM.

Okay, this is a really unrelated point, but the graffiti on the dumpster here reminds me of the Teen Wolf fandoms use of the name Void!Stiles when Stiles Stilinski was possessed by a Nogitsune… I just spent way too long digging through YouTube and my Tumblr tags from back when those episodes were airing looking for a few specific videos and couldn’t find them. The TL;DR reason I bring it up here is goofball, bi-coded main character guy getting possessed by an entity set on destroying the people he loves. SOUNDS LIKE THIS EPISODE AND A WHOLE LOT OF SPN RIGHT. I love that all these monster hunting shows call out to each other.

This scene haunts me years later and I don’t even WATCH Teen Wolf. I just watched the fandom on Tumblr collectively lose it’s shit then tripped down a Hale Pack fanfiction rabbit hole.

ANYWAY

Back to Supernatural, a show that also treated its fan base, cast, and characters like garbage! Huzzah!

DEAN: Well, there’s another way to go—down. (They look down and notice a manhole.)

I’m gonna be mature and ignore the double entendre there…

But I love that Dean thinks of the world in 3D. Which sounds like a dumb statement to make, but this is honestly a good example of that in action.

SAM: I bet this runs right by Zack’s house, too.

Really Sam, sewers run by houses? SO WEIRD. I WOULD HAVE NEVER GUESSED.

DEAN: You know, I just had a sick thought. When the shapeshifter changes shape—maybe it sheds.

SAM: That is sick. (DEAN puts the bloody pile back on the ground.)

Guys, there is a WHOLE ASS EAR in that pile of yuck you’re looking at. I think it’s pretty safe to assume the shapeshifter indeed sheds its skin like a snake. A much… gooier snake.

Sam’s friend is rightfully pissed at him for fucking with the crime scene.

This is before the pearl gripped guns?! Wow. I never noticed that before.

Also, this whole episode gives me feelings.

Cool. Tumblr mobile ate a whole section of my notes on this when it crashed for NO APPARENT REASON. Love that.

It always boggles my mind that actors can trust the people they’re working with enough to let people “tie” ropes around their neck or put them in actually dangerous positions in a scene.

SHAPESHIFTER: He’s sure got issues with you. You got to go to college. He had to stay home. I mean, I had to stay home. With Dad. You don’t think I had dreams of my own? But Dad needed me. Where the hell were you?

SAM: Where is my brother? (The shapeshifter leans in close to SAM.)

SHAPESHIFTER: I am your brother. See, deep down, I’m just jealous. You got friends. You could have a life. Me? I know I’m a freak. And sooner or later, everybody’s gonna leave me. (He backs away.)

SAM: What are you talkin’ about?

SHAPESHIFTER: You left. Hell, I did everything Dad asked me to, and he ditched me, too. No explanation, nothin’, just poof. Left me with your sorry ass. But, still, this life? It’s not without its perks. (He laughs.) I meet the nicest people. Like little Becky. You know, Dean would bang her if he had the chance. Let’s see what happens. (He smiles and covers SAM with a sheet.)

This exchange is just… so much. So many feelings. And I will forever (unless we magically get a fix-it fic mini season someday…) be SO MAD that none of this got resolved in that pointless, trash heap of a finale.

REBECCA: Okay, so, this thing—it can make itself look like anybody?

SHAPESHIFTER: That’s right. (She chuckles.)

REBECCA: Well, what is it, like a genetic freak? (The shapeshifter laughs.)

SHAPESHIFTER: Maybe. Evolution is about mutation, right? So, maybe this thing was born human but was different. Hideous and hated. Until he learned to become someone else. (REBECCA looks around, uncomfortable. The shapeshifter’s eyes glint silver, and he smiles.)

It always amazes me how much of this show is a pile of accidental queer allegories parading around in an ill-fitting toxic masculinity suit.

Vulcan mind meld! I love nerd!Dean. Also, I’m rewatching Star Trek: TOS with my husband, because that is what my life amounts to these days, rewatching comfort TV and flailing over the bits I love.

This post does a better job than I can do of pairing up screen caps with the dialogue of this next scene. SIX EPISODES IN. They’re dumping all of this character depth SIX EPISODES IN. FUCK THIS SHOW FOR NOT EMBRACING ITSELF.

Okay, I love that he screams back in her face after he threw the phone. It’s not something to laugh at because the situation is horrifying, but I can’t help laughing at it every time.

AND THE WAY THEY CUT THESE SCENES. Going from him winding his hand back to backslap her directly to him dropping the chains on the table to show how hard he must have hit her without actually making the actors hit each other. Good job editing department!

I… don’t understand the shifter’s motivation for killing people. If he can take over people’s identities without killing them, why kill them? Is it just because he’s a homicidal, rapist piece of shit? Cause that’s all it seems like.

How did the SWAT team even know she was being attacked? Why can the snipers aim no better than Storm Troopers?

Ugh, these kind of transformation body horror scenes are exactly why werewolf stories have never really appealed to me much. Like, I could do without watching your ribs move and teeth fall out, dude.

BUT.

THIS FUCKING SCENE.

I looked up the song that’s playing over shapeshifter!Dean being caught by the SWAT team and then going through the grotesque transformation. (And as far as I know, the iTunes version has the original music from the episodes.)

This is… a fascinating choice. Here are the rest of the lyrics. The song as a whole has a weird incesty kinda vibe to it? Kinda like when SPN tries to straight-wash itself and misses the mark wildly. (Like Dean’s male siren episode.)

The midnight cowboy line reminded me of 12x11 and the bull riding scene with “Broomstick Cowboy” by Bobby Goldsboro playing over it

Props to the people who can embrace their rewatches and reclamations of the show with ease. Because every episode seems to remind me of how hollow and tragic Dean’s ending was and I just… struggle all over again.

Anyway, back to the episode so I can move on with my day.

REPORTER: An anonymous tip led police to a home in the Central West End, where a S.W.A.T team discovered a local woman bound and gagged. Her attacker, a white male, approximately twenty-four to thirty years of age, was discovered hiding in her home. (A sketch of DEAN appears on the screen.)

DEAN: Man! That’s not even a good picture. (SAM looks around cautiously.)

SAM: It’s good enough. (He walks away.)

DEAN: Man! (He follows SAM.)

(CUT TO: Alley. DEAN and SAM are walking. DEAN steps into a puddle.)

DEAN: Ugh, come on.

I love that we get two tiny little back-to-back vanity moments for Dean here. One commenting on the sketch artist rendition of him being broadcasted on the news and the other tripping in the puddle. There is literally someone running around the city trying to kill people while wearing Dean’s face, but Dean is still concerned with how he looks appears to others. He’s still concerned with keeping up his own performance. The shifter left him with just a t-shirt, so he doesn’t even have his usual comfort layers on and at any moment someone could spot him and call the police or try to kill him for assaulting Sam’s friend. His life is wildly out of control in that moment and the only thing he can try to focus on is his appearance (something semi-controllable) and finding the shifter before any of that other shit can happen.

One day I want to put together a like top 10 episodes focusing on / explaining each TFW character from the series. Like the kind of list you could show someone who’s never seen the show, but has OPINIONS about the characters (or who hasn’t seen the whole show and seen the growth they went through… you know, like the people responsible for the travesty of 15x20). This episode would be on that list. I’m not sure how I could manage to make a list of only 10 episodes to understand Dean Winchester by, but eh.

SAM: What are you gonna do to me?

SHAPESHIFTER: Oh, I’m not gonna do anything. Dean will, though.

SAM: They’ll never catch him.

SHAPESHIFTER: Oh, doesn’t matter. Murder in the first of his own brother? He’ll be hunted the rest of his life. (He picks up a sharp knife and examines it.)

Speaking of season 15 in general, this right here. This was Chuck’s villain story arc thesis statement. AND THEY DROPPED THE GODDAMN BALL WITH IT. I think that’s the thing that honestly pisses me off the most these days (about 5 1/2 months from when the finale aired) is that they tried making the whole thing a tragedy but did such an awful job with it that it just ended up like a deflating condom balloon at a dive bar concert. Disappointing and gross. The finale for season 14 set them up SO FUCKING WELL and it just… didn’t get there.

Becky’s parents are gonna be pissed at how torn up their house is after all this shit…

And you’re not shooting him when you first see him strangling Sam because…?????

I like that he took the necklace back. Also, is this kinda Dean death number .5 of the show? Like it wasn’t him but it was also kinda him. Eh.

At least they left the windshield on Baby this time. Reflections are better than tearing her apart.

Double Knot theory

this might be completely wrong, sorry lol it took me the whole day to come up with this, my head hurts lol

Alrighty peeps, here I am again with another attempt in trying to understand what’s behind the minds of SKZ when it comes to concepts, so I’m gonna analyze Double Knot on my yeezys after watching several times all their MVs (yes, I’m crazy lol). I’m not gonna be able to put pics of everything here cause tumblr sucks sometimes, but you can check the MVs to see what I’m talking about in case you don’t remember or didn’t notice. BARE WITH ME CAUSE THIS IS GONNA BE A LONG RIDE!

Starting with District 9 (where it all began), we have Mr. Bang Chan (the one in charge of their duties, therefore the leader) that sees a red flower and realizes that something is not right because if everything is monochromatic, how can there be a red flower? A glitch? An abnormality in their reality?

I think that the flower is a Poisenttia, but I don’t understand much of flowers, so I might be wrong. But if it’s really a Poisenttia, it could mean that the flower is pointing them to “salvation” since, according to Google, this flower is used during Christmas to symbolize the star of Bethlehem which led the Wise Men to where Jesus was born. So maybe the flower is showing that there’s a way out of this controlled reality they’re in? Maybe... (or maybe the flower will lead them to the big boss).

Moving on, Chan runs away to find that one of the drones that was watching them has crashed with a glass (?), making him place his hand on the panel that is projecting their world, and it wobbles (idk), meaning that they’re in a fake reality (everything is not what it seems!!)

Chan then hands out red papers with an encrypted message (I tried really hard reading what was on it, but it looks like and alien language or sth) to all SKZ members and they all get inside the bus (I’ve always wondered who’s driving the bus…) to break free from that reality and they enter another reality, a post-apocalyptic one, kinda lol, which is District 9 and they think they rule it cause they raised their flags there (but they’re not the ones in control, sorry boys)

And at the end we see the Stray Kids logo with black letters and the K in red. My mind went crazy and thought: S T R A Y K I D S = 9 letters, but one is different. > 9 boys, but one is different. Who? I think is Hyunjin because he’s the only one that looks at Chan after receiving the paper to escape and because he’s the one that the camera shows right after we see their logo on the floor lol So what I take from this is that Stray Kids now has become a glitch in their perfect system, but Hyunjin is not completely okay with it.

Moving on, in Mirror (not Miroh) we have Hyunjin alone in a room with 9 chairs, which I think that while the others left, he stayed behind. He’s writing on a piece of paper: who am I? where am I? I am not me (and the pencil dramatically breaks). They repeat several times “I don’t even know who I am, I just came along as they told me to” so I’m assuming Hyunjin is the one who’s still lost while SKZ is trying to break free, and maybe he’s having a hard time trusting Chan cause in the end Chan and Hyunjin are facing each other (don’t fight boys lol). 

And I say that Hyunjin is the different one by watching subtle things in other MVs (like Voices, MIA, My Pace...) in which the scenario changes suddenly when his part comes, or when it doesn’t glitch as much as the others, etc., which makes me believe my theory that he’s the odd one, the one that actually doesn’t want to be part of the group.

May I add that in My Pace they’re all stepping on red pamphlets on the floor that says “Just stay in my lane”… and they’re not staying in their lane anymore? (you can’t control SKZ trying to take over the system).

Now we move on to I Am You MV which is the sequel to My Pace, right? So we see them after glitching a lot in My Pace and they’re still being watched, but now Jisung breaks a surveillance camera lol and they move to another post-apocalyptic scenario cause, let’s be honest, who would live on that rooftop with drawings of a couch and a plant if it wasn’t for the end of the world? But what called my attention was the fact that we see Jeongin’s reflection on a puddle and we see two moons (hi Side Effects and Double Knot), they’re on the move on a truck instead of a bus, and we have an interesting scene with Chan and Jeongin’s reflection becoming one (so they’re indeed in this together), but what about Hyunjin? Well, we see him assembling something like a bat-signal that has SKZ logo on it as if he’s now calling for them…but by the end of the MV their logo still has the K as the odd one out.

So what’s all this about? In my weird mind, Chan discovered that they were living a lie, being controlled and told what to do and decided to break free from all of it, and while the others seem to agree, Hyunjin isn’t fully convinced about it. Maybe he’s scared? He doesn’t know who he actually is, since they all seemed to be in a mind controlling environment being watched 24/7, so he’s lost. The albums go like this in the storyline I’ve created in my mind: I Am Not = I’m not who I think I was, my life has been a lie; I Am Who = who am I? everything is a mess while I’m searching for my own self at my own pace; I Am You = I’m a glitch just like you.

NOW WE MOVE ON TO THE CLÉ SERIES!! (I swear to God SKZ is trying to give me a headache cause I’ve never used my brain this much before in my life lol)

In Miroh (not Mirror lol) we all know now that they are trying to overtake the system. They were able to enter the surveillance room and find those who they thought were controlling them. There’s some signs I was able to check in Miroh during the parade (that I haven’t noticed before) that are quite interesting. The first one says “There is no Tarzan in City Jungle”. Tarzan is considered a wild man, someone who’s not behaving the way society demands since he was raised in the jungle among animals. The other signs say “Something happened, nothing changed” and “The world is the same”, so I’m assuming that society is celebrating the fact that the faulty/glitched ones (the “Tarzans” aka SKZ) are long gone now – since District 9 –, and everything is back to normal with everyone behaving like they should and the system functioning perfectly, but they don’t realize that SKZ figured their way into the City Jungle (aka the central part of the system) and are gonna make a mess in it lol

I have already analyzed Side Effects (you can check it here), but I’m gonna go even crazier now and assume that Side Effects is also them being chased by the “boss” after what they’ve done in Miroh, and they have to follow unlocked roads in order to lay low and not be captured. Maybe that’s why Hyunjin is the nervous one in the MV, fighting Seungmin (cause he’s about to register with a camera where they are and what they’re doing) and Felix (who wants to leave the cart, their ‘safe’ zone), because he didn’t want to be there in the first place. His lines in the song shows he’s afraid and doubting himself.

But at the end of Side Effects, Hyunjin is now converted to SKZ’s cause, if that makes sense. After everything they’ve gone through, everything that happened in Miroh and the other MVs, he’s finally part of the group. So Chan, as the leader, reaches out to him, and Hyunjin accepts, leaving a key behind – which I think might be what he was holding onto since District 9 (cause they all had separate rooms in that ‘prison’ and that key looks like a regular room key and not one of the fancy keys that show up on Double Knot). Now they’re gonna walk their path as a unit, not individuals.

Alright, that being said, I’m gonna move on to Double Knot. In Double Knot we see them walking on a road that looks almost exactly like the one they’ve been staring at in Victory Song in a city with two moons, so that means that after running a lot in Side Effects, they’ve reached their destination = the city. 9 fancy keys appear on top of some maps, so I’m assuming everything is complete now. We see an Astronaut billboard and we also have “take off” being showed in a bracelet, a ring, a necklace, and on the road. I’ll comment on those two later.

Right, so here comes the fun parts of this analysis. When Jisung (?) ties his laces, the ground becomes glitched as if something (aka SKZ) is interfering in the system (we can see signal written, so it means ‘no signal’ or ‘error-signal’). 

And now EVERYTHING STARTS TO MAKE SENSE! Because SKZ now knows that since everyone is in this together after Hyunjin decided to join them in Side Effects, they can play with the glitches! Let me try to explain it better: after watching this MV and the others, I now see their concept kinda like Wreck It Ralph, if you know what I mean lol They’re not where they were supposed to be and they’re glitching inside a world that’s being projected to them, a fake world in which someone is in charge, but they broke free from that control, so now that they’re complete as a unit, they can be like Vanellope and play around with the faulty system that can’t handle them, meaning that they’re free and can go anywhere, change from one to another, lag the system and confuse the hell out of whoever is still trying to stop them.

This MV has more glitches and interferences than any other one, so it probably means they’re closer to the end than before. I don’t know if they’re trying to reach the main core or anything like this, but I do believe that this is not the end for them, I still think that there’s a final boss even after Miroh... but this is just me guessing lol

Minho, Jeongin and Seungmin see that they’re still being watched by a drone (kinda like District 9) and they’re recognized by the system (can you see their names on the side of the screen right below Stray Kids?), maybe the system is trying to get rid of the glitches?

Hyunjin is running alone on the street until he reaches a crossroad (now he doesn’t have to choose which road to take, he can go anywhere) and then after running some more he finds a key with the SKZ logo on the floor. This key is the same key that Chan uses to unlock the Yellow Wood on the elevator, btw, and the same key that we see him trying to open the white door with; the same door that Chan peeks through the key hole and sees himself and the SKZ on the sky, somewhat in a heroic kinda pose, right?

“ERROR-SIGNAL” shows up at the end when they’re all together, and we see that the Stray Kids logo is now all white (they’re all the same now). At the end, there’s blue while we see the interferences, which I think is because they’re gonna go up to the sky in Levanter.

THEY’RE GONNA TAKE OFF TO THE MOON!!! or not lol mark my words: Stray Kids everywhere all around the UNIVERSE! the world is too small for them now! The MV also shows “the owners of Clé”, meaning that they’ve learned how to make the system work for them now. GO, STRAY KIDS!

Something weird that I noticed while watching the MVs is that they’re always on rooftops (in Victory Song, Voices, I Am You, Miroh, etc), as if they’re trying to reach higher than that, but can’t or don’t know how to yet. They need an Astronaut to help them Take Off (see what I did here?), and I believe that the answer is behind the white door that Chan is about to open. Now I have no idea who or what might the astronaut, or what’s behind that door, but I hope we get more answers in Levanter.

Wow, I think I wrote a lot and there’s still much more that we can talk about this MV and SKZ’s concept. Maybe I’m dead wrong, but this is how I interpreted the story, so feel free to discuss your ideas with me if you want to~

this was supposed to be a fav D-2 lyrics post but it just somehow turned into me rambling my thoughts about D-2 in regard to life and what he’s said in the interviews so far

So I started this and then my computer decided to restart and I lost all of it. And then when I finally finished it and hit save draft one last time, Tumblr stopped working. So if you see anything formatted weirdly, let me know. The universe was against me on this one.

As always, all translators are linked. Check them out and give them credit, they’re great at what they do. Sometimes they update things, so I really do recommend checking out the links to see if they’ve made any updates since I’ve posted.

I love Yoongi’s writing a lot, so I tend to get a bit wordy. I’d say I’m sorry but really, me doing these lyric posts is entirely self-indulgent so, I’m not.

(OK. I wrote that part before I finished and YIKES this ended up being SO LONG I am SORRY)

I want to point out some of the obvious references first that I know everyone on the internet has already figured out, but as I’ve said, idc. I like to have things in one place so I can look back at it. These ones don’t need much explanation, I feel, so I’m just gonna leave them here. Credits for these are with their songs down below.

“If you think you’re gonna crash, accelerate even harder, you idiot” 

From Moonlight, but also Intro: Never Mind, which is just so Yoongi to me. I think that song gives you an accurate picture of him.

“I got a big house big car big ring, bring anything over, I’ll give it to you” 

From What do you think?, and then No More Dream, Home, and Interlude: Shadow. This gif set breaks the references down nicely. It’s interesting to see the different tones he takes when referencing this line. I think Interlude: Shadow is my favorite, but really, I’m just biased to that song and they’re all truly great.

“I’m a king, I’i m a boss” 

Daechwita to Interlude: Shadow (I am sorry that this song is all I ever talk about all the time). I can’t remember if he references wanting to be the king/top in other songs, and I’m too lazy to check right now. So I’m going to go with no unless someone would like to correct me, I don’t mind.

There’s also the Burn It/Outro: Tear references that are just too much to copy and paste, really. I’m sure an argument can be made that it’s the whole song being referenced, but to me, this is the obvious part being referenced from Outro: Tear:

While I didn’t list a lyric from Interlude: Set Me Free, I just want to say that I do really love this song, but there just aren’t many lyrics in it. Additionally, I’m not sure what exactly he’s saying he wants to be set free from, and so it doesn’t feel right to make an assumption about the lyrics. (Which is kinda bothering me, not in an annoyed way, but more or less just nagging at me.) But really, I love any interlude from Yoongi. Set Me Free sounds so beautiful and so calming and I wish the bird chirping didn’t drive my cat so crazy so I could enjoy it more.

“Changes are fated to happen to everyone, perhaps, how we change is what our undertaking is about.”

Moonlight. I’ve said this before, but I really do love a good lyric about growing and changing and this mixtape definitely has a lot of it. I think it is interesting that he talks about change like this in the opening song, and then he talks about change in Dear my friend, which is much different given the tone of that whole song. Here, in the very first song, he poses the idea of “change is good, depending how you change” and then delves into a mixtape that discusses “the present” of his life (he tells Billboard in this article that this mixtape is about the present), which I find interesting. I’ll try to touch on it more in Dear my friend.

“What’s after this?  Feeling a strong feeling of reality check, a situation where there’s no higher. I had only looked up, now I just wanna look down and gently land.”

Daechwita. Yes, Interlude: Shadow AGAIN (as your local Shadow enthusiast, it only makes sense I pick a lyric that connects.) Although he says don’t let me down in Shadow, in that song I take it more as “I want to come down but I’m terrified of what’s gonna happen.” Where Shadow is more desperate, the tone of Daechwita is definitely more confident. Plus he has that whole mad king thing going for him (and then the whole killing the mad king thing) which Muish discusses wonderfully in the translation I linked.

This is another thing I love about Yoongi and his lyrics. He’s discussing the same thing in the lines of these different songs, but you get to witness these two battling personas when it comes to the topic. And I guess that is the point of there being a difference between Suga and Agust D, but I do wonder where Yoongi falls between these two. He lets you see his struggle and that’s why I love his writing. (I also love that for this song he says focus more on the visual and auditory enjoyment than the lyrics. The video really does tell a good story.)

“Crazy that you’d think that my success has a connection to your failure.”

“I have no fucking interest in those who ask whether idol music is music.”

What do you think? The idol lyric may seem like a weird choice, but as a long time boyband stan I’m so over the way artists who were/are in boybands get disregarded for their talent. I’ve come to realize I just need to stop caring whether or not they are socially accepted by “others” and just enjoy what music they are choosing to share with me and those who support them.

I don’t have much to say about the success lyric. It’s just Yoongi being his usual self and I love it.

“Capital injects morphine called hope with dream as collateral“

The first time I read this I did a double take. Much to unpack here, but I think that is even beyond me. Interpret it as you please.

“The one who has his eyes open in the world that has its eyes closed — now they make him blind, isn’t it strange.” 

Namjoon has a similar lyric later, but rather than the second half of Yoongi’s lyric, Joon says “that he has his eyes open alone is so much more strange for me” and I love the contrast between the two. Very on brand too.

“But still, life goes on, somehow, just like this, everyone, in their own chicken coop, says they’re okay.”

Strange. I had to stop myself because it is very hard to just not copy and paste the whole freakin song. I love anything these two create together as they are two of the most wonderful lyricists I have ever seen. Going off of that, this song is very reminiscent of Respect for me. Do yourself a favor and just sit down and read through these lyrics (Strange, but also I always recommend Respect). Songs like these make me wish I was a fly on the wall for conversations between these two.

“People change, just as I have, there’s nothing eternal about life, they’re all happenings that pass by”

“Did someone say humans are the animals of wisdom? The way I see it, humans are the animals of regret”

People. I love this song a lot (and NOT just because he sounds like an angel in it...) Despite that, I’m not sure why but I found myself stuck on what he was trying to say with this song as a whole. I enlisted my best friend for help and she gave me some good insight and one of the things she said was “good can come out of living each day like it means something.” While I didn’t see this song as inherently negative, I don’t think I was viewing the song in a way that would have allowed me to see this silver lining. I saw it as more cynical I guess?

“Tomorrow will come and go once again, this kind of me, that kind of you are both simply enduring the day, I guess.”

Honsool. Time isn’t real. Am I writing this at 2 o’clock in the morning when I should be asleep? Maybe so. But time isn’t real and the days come and go and we’re all just enduring. I like the word choice there. Not surviving, or getting by, or living. We’re enduring.

“I grow older and become to know the world, and yet, would it have been better to not know the world?”

Ignorance is bliss. Kinda. This lyric actually reminded me of Nightmare by Halsey, one part specifically: “'Cause kindness is weakness, or worse, you're complacent, I could play nice or I could be a bully, I'm tired and angry, but somebody should be” And like. Yeah. Would I rather be ignorant to all the world’s problems and not give a shit about anything just to be happy, or should I let myself succumb to believing in cynicism for the sake of the world and caring about things? I used a different translation for this lyric than I did for the other two lyrics in 28.

“To live, live, live just one day without any worries, just one day without any concerns.” 

“I thought it’d change when I turned twenty, I thought it’d change when I graduated, Shit, if I’m thirty like this, this, And so, so, what’s changed with me?”

28. This was another one of those where I had to stop and tell myself, Ahna, please do not copy every lyric. But, just know that I wanted to. We spend so many of our days looking forward because we are so displeased with where we are currently at (reminder: this mixtape is about the present.) There’s the constant thought of “once I achieve this thing, it’ll be better!” We’ve all done it, I’ve done it, and I truly hate it. The difference here is you have someone like Yoongi, who is at the top, who has it “all” and he is still stuck in this mindset. Oh, also, hi he’s talking about change again.

“[Always], the choice and decision is yours to make. I hope you don’t forget that giving up decisively also counts as courage.”

Burn It. It is now 4am and Burn It just came on shuffle and I’ve been staring at this lyric for a bit too long, hating my 2pm fully conscious self for choosing this one and leaving writing about it for last. This lyric is existential crisis content. I don’t think I’ve ever in my life heard someone talk about giving up in this way. Giving up can be so powerless, but thinking about giving up in this way not only restores power, but also praises you for being able to make such a decision bold decision for yourself. Makes you think a lot about Yoongi and how he turned out the way he has.

Yoongi reiterated a similar thought in the interview with TIME: “It’s good to know that it’s fine when things go in an unintended direction, because you can always start over again. Keep calm, take the next-best option and move forward.” And this translator also points out another instance, just a month before he dropped his mixtape, of him saying basically the same thing again to one of the listeners on his Live who said they gave up their dream: “I don’t know what circumstances you were in, but I think you must have had tremendous courage. Giving something up decisively takes lots of courage. And, you’ve worked hard.” Like, is he trying to make me cry?

“Was it you who changed? Or was it me? I hate this flowing time, it's us who changed.”

Dear my friend. First, in regard to the lyric itself, there are so many friendships we look back on, ruined or not, and wonder whose fault it was. Maybe even blame them if it’s easier. While it does vary by friendship, I do think it’s important to step back and question our place in it all going wrong, and how we have changed as well. The “I hate this flowing time, it's us who changed” reminds me of how sometimes there truly is nothing you can do when it comes to changing and growing apart from people. It’s not your fault, it’s not my fault, we have changed in ways we both needed to and we are not compatible anymore. I do think the overarching theme in Dear my friend is different from this, however.

I was not expecting this song at all. I think a lot of stuff Yoongi writes is very open and vulnerable, but this song really took me by surprise because it’s a different kind of open. This song will make you miss friendships and people that went downhill, wondering what more you could have done for them. Why he gotta do me like this.

Going back to the thought I posed in Moonlight, in Dear my friend we witness a change that just... isn’t good. Aside from that, on an album which is supposedly all about the present of his life, this song is not. Maybe it is present because it is something that still clearly bothers him, and something, or rather someone, he thinks about a lot, but I still find it interesting. Maybe it was just a sentiment he felt he really needed to get out. 

He talks about change a lot on this album, yet when they ask him in the D-2 interviews (TIME/Billboard) about how he feels things have changed since the last mixtape, he says he doesn’t feel his life really changed.

If you listen to Intro: Never Mind, he says the only thing he feels that’s different about him is his height, and that he’s mature compared to people his age. That must be very grounding, feeling that despite the whirlwind of his life and fame he is still the same person he’s always been. And then again, 5 years later in 2020, the only change he mentions about himself is that he’s matured. I guess “matured” can be taken different ways, especially in regard to the way he talks about growth on this album. But I respect and admire him talking about himself like this. I appreciate the introspection and I take maturing in this context as a positive thing. I take it as him growing in good ways, becoming better versions of himself, which I feel shows in the art he produces. 

One more thought, and it goes back to the interviews. Yoongi told TIME “what’s good is good” is his philosophy. I think back to 28 and People, and the drastic difference between his life and mine, or as he would say, the difference between our ordinaries and extraordinaries, yet we both have the same bad habits and worries about the future.  

Yoongi seems like a walking hazard sign for wanting more or too much, warning of it not being better and it being lonely to have “everything” you want. Considering how simple the phrase “what’s good is good” is, I have spent too long thinking about it in relation to all of this. He uses it in People when talking about the average ordinary life. In the new Break the Silence docu-series, he talks about not being able to do ordinary things like go out for a coffee or to the movies. It is once again his reminder, things are not better up there. You will still struggle. Be content with what you have. If it’s good, its good, and what’s good is good. Let it be.

This felt like a good ending note, and then I remembered Billboard asked him, “What is a line or thought you share on D-2 you want listeners to be left thinking about?“ And this was his answer:

“So what, if we live like that, so what My distinction is your ordinary My ordinary is your distinction”

I thought it was funny that I somehow ended this by talking about the one thing he wanted to leave us thinking about. Mission accomplished Yoongi.

In regard to raising questions about norms and how we live, Yoongi said he just merely wanted to raise the question mark - not provide the answers - and boy did he here. I will be thinking about this all for a while. This took me so much longer to write than intended, mostly just because I wasn’t expecting to feel so strongly about all the songs.  Thank you for the art honey my dude.

Peter was surprised when you weren’t at school that day. Or rather, he was disappointed. He was hoping you’d stand on the side while he gave his speech, if anything just for comfort.

He’d read over his speech a hundred times. When it was finally time for everyone to head to the auditorium he was freaking out.

Ned threw an arm around his shoulders. “It’s gonna be fine. It’s not like you’re about to lie to the whole school or something.”

“Thanks,” Peter said, sarcasm falling from his lips.

“Look, you’re doing a good thing. Relax, it’s going to be fine.” He assured.

“Ready?” MJ asked, approaching them.

“This is a bad idea,” Peter said.

The three of them started their journey backstage.

After being introduced by their principal, Peter froze.

Of course, MJ being the saint that she is gave him a shove.

Peter stumbled a little but was glad for the push to get moving. His journey to the microphone was nerve wracking.

“H-hi everyone,” he greeted, he was met with silence and just the bright spotlight on him. He could just about see the first few rows of people before it became a little too dark in the auditorium. He fumbled with his note cards and then pulled gently at his shirt collar. The blue tie around his neck that he’d struggled to figure out how to tie that morning was just a bit too tight.

“Pete,” Connor said, beside him. “Tell them how you feel… tell them about what you want to do. You’ve got this.”

Peter took a breath and nodded. “Have you ever felt like nobody was there? Have you ever felt forgotten or like you could disappear and nobody would even notice? Like you could fall, and no one would hear?”

There were a few murmurs from the crowd.

He nodded, and shifted his cards. He could do this. He could do this for Connor it was the least he could do. “Well, let that lonely feeling wash away. Maybe there's a reason to believe you'll be okay. 'Cause when you don't feel strong enough to stand, you can reach out your hand… and someone will coming running, and I know, they'll take you home. Even when the dark comes crashing through, and when you need a friend to carry you. When you're broken on the ground I can tell you, you will be found. So let the sun come streaming in, because you'll reach up and get up and look around and see that you’re found. Whether it’s in just one person, or a few. Even if you think you have no one, someone will find you.”

He left the podium, applause erupted. MJ actually hugged him as he made it back to the wing. Ned pat his shoulder, as MJ ran out to give her part.

She talked about their plans for The Connor Project and how everyone could participate and be apart of it. As soon as she was done Ned went out to talk about fundraising for it.

Later that night Peter flopped back onto his bed.

“You did great,” Connor said.

“Thanks,” Peter offered, looking at the boys pale face.

“No, thank you, Peter. I know if I hadn’t done what I did things wouldn’t be the same, but I really wish we could have been friends… I wish I wasn’t so fucked up that I didn’t have to follow through with it. Not that I regret it, I’m finally free… but I’m glad it’s given you something good.”

“You’re not going to like, go to the other side now are you?” Peter asked.

Connor chucked. “No, you’re stuck with me until I decide to go. You still have a lot of work ahead of us.” He winked at him before he did disappear.

“Peter,” May said, knocking softly on his door.

“Yeah May?” He asked as she opened the door.

“Don’t forget tomorrow we’re going to visit those school’s you’re looking into for college.” She reminded him.

With everything going on, he did forget about his weekend plans. He just had to hope MJ and Ned could handle things for their first weekend without him. He certainly wasn’t going to get out of going.

MJ ran up to Peter that monday morning. “Have you seen this? Someone put a video of your speech on the Connor Project page.” She handed him her phone to show him.

“M-My speech?” Peter asked, taking her phone to look. There he was up on that stage, looking awkward as ever giving his speech.

“People started sharing it, and now Connor is everywhere. Well more than he was before but for a better reason,” She was happy that their movement was making progress already. She had feared it would flop and they wouldn’t end up helping anyone.

“Your speech is everywhere,” Ned said, approaching them, excitement in his voice. He might not have liked Connor, but he did know this was also for Peter. He was happy that this might help him in the long run. “Saturday morning the Connor Project page only had 62 people following it.”

“How many does it have now?” Peter asked, surprised that they’d gotten even that many.

Ned gave him an answer but MJ spoke right over him. “31,836,” She started hitting Peter’s arm in excitement.

He could only stare between them. “I-I don't understand, what happened?”

“You did,” Ned and MJ stated together.

“This is a place where no one has to feel like they’re no one.” MJ told him. “And everytime someone calls out here they’re less alone.”

“All they have to do is post about it on the page and someone is bound to answer,” Ned added.

“Your voice is being heard,” MJ informed him.

“This is incredible.” Peter said.

Connor appeared beside him, “Yeah, it is.”

Later on at lunch Peter started reading through all the responses on the page with his phone. MJ’s laptop sat in front of them as they watched a news clip. He was amazed that it was on the news, but then again he realized that the Stark’s were pretty well known, especially in New York City.

“Oh my god, everyone needs to see this!”

“I just keep rewatching this video! It’s incredible!”

“Seventeen years old,” the person on the news said. “Take just 5 minutes to watch, it will make your day! Share it with the people you love, repost it. More people need to hear about this.”

There were dozens of reposts already, and the number was climbing.

“The world needs to hear this!”

“A beautiful tribute”

There were as many likes as views which had doubled since they’d checked before homeroom that morning.

“I know someone who really needed to hear this today, so thank you Peter Parker, for doing what you’re doing.”

“I never met you Connor, but coming on here, reading everyone’s posts, you left such an impact.”

“It’s so easy to feel alone, but Peter is exactly right! We’re not alone, none of us are alone!”

“Especially now, with everything that you hear in the news,” the woman in the news continued. “It’s so important to spread this message.”

“Thank you Peter, for giving us a space to remember Connor - a fellow classmate”

There were prayers and messages from all over the country. So many thank you’s.

He couldn’t believe it. He was actually making a difference.

You walked into lunch late that afternoon. You had seen the video practically right after it was posted. You had been watching the page, just in case anyone made any cruel comments about it. You didn’t want Peter to lose this. You watched everything unravel, all weekend. But Peter’s speech, it really hit you. You were so moved by it. Frankly, you were afraid to approach him after how you had acted, but now you knew what you were feeling. It was all thanks to him.

Peter spotted you out of the corner of his eye, he offered an awkward smile.

You offered a half one back and nodded, silently asking him to follow you.

“I’ll be back guys,” Peter told his friends. He followed after you and somehow the two of you ended up outside on a bench. “Hey, everything alright?”

“I finally get it,” You told him. “I think I actually forgive him, and it’s all thanks to you Peter.”

Peter shyly rubbed the back of his neck. “W-well, I mean-”

“Everyone feels some type of darkness in them, maybe not always like Connor did, but it manages to crash through… And I think I was letting that darkness keep me from expressing my grief… I wanted to thank you, because without you here to carry me through it in some way even when I was being cold to you about it. I-I was feeling so broken about this loss and I felt misunderstood because both of my parents feel differently about it. And somehow you managed to pull it all together. You showed me that I can feel other things besides this hate towards Connor. That it’s okay for me to just reach out to people... You helped me find my feelings again. And I just-,”

He’d been nodding along, a small smile on his face. He was glad that you finally came to terms with the loss of your brother, he was happy he could help. His eyes went wide when you stopped mid sentence and pressed your lips to his. That didn’t last long though, his eyes shut, his hand found your cheek. He kissed you back.

“You did so great up there,” you mumbled against his lips. “The help you’ll bring to other people-”

He lightly pecked your lips again, cutting you off.

You chuckled quietly. “You’re doing so much to help others. I really admire you for it.”

“Well, thanks, Y/N,” Peter said, pushing some of your hair behind your ear. “It’s not a big deal, I just… I didn’t want anyone to forget or be forgotten…”

You nodded. “I get that… But as much as I appreciate you doing this advocacy work for people, can we maybe… focus on us for a bit?”

Peter smiled and pulled you in for another kiss.

Things were really starting to look up for him.

After a few minutes of using Tumblr to distract himself and wallowing in self-pity, Virgil pushed himself up and plopped down at his desk. He felt too anxious to go to bed right now, so he might as well try to be productive. He tried to start researching for a paper he had due in a couple of weeks, but his eyes started to droop more and more... soon he was slumped in front of his computer, fast asleep at his desk. Logan glanced over, hearing the small thud from the desk, he couldn't help the small smile that came onto his face, He's just adorable. He stood up and walked over to the desk, shaking Virgil's shoulder slightly to wake him up. Virgil groaned softly as he was roused from his accidental snooze. “Five... more minutes...” he mumbled, pulling his hood up over his head. “Don’t wanna... hnng... get up...”

Logan chuckled under his breath, "You can go back to sleep, just not at the desk, that can horribly mess up your spine... At least just go lay down on your bed." He said quietly, Virgil whined at that, slowly sitting up so he could pout sleepily at Logan. “Can’t,” he muttered, reaching out to grab Logan’s arm. “Too far...” He trailed off, breaking into a huge yawn before continuing, “Need help.” Logan looked at him in half fondness half genuine confusion, "Do you want me to carry you?" He asked, when he planned that out in his head he was mostly joking but the words weren't a joke out of his mouth

Virgil, who was far too tired to tell if Logan was joking or being serious in his request, simply reached his arms out so he could pick him up. He yawned again and blinked sleepily, almost in a cat-like manner. Logan sighed and picked him up, Virgil immediately blushed when he did so, nuzzling into his chest in an attempt to hide. He carried him over to the bed and gently set him down, "Better?" He asked as he went to move away so he could shut off Virgil's laptop and plug it in. Virgil was glad to be in his bed, sure, but another soft whine escaped him when Logan walked away. He reached for him again, his eyes pleading.

Logan looked at him, this time in pure confusion, "What are you wanting?" He asked. “Come snuggle,” Virgil demanded, still reaching out for Logan. After having his first taste of human contact in weeks when Logan picked him up, his mind was practically screaming for more. Logan sighed, "Virgil, I have some work to finish I'm not planning on going to sleep yet." He said as he did as he planned to and shut down and plug in Virgil's laptop. “Come work in my bed,” Virgil argued, his pout returning. “I’ll keep annoying you. Then you won’t be able to finish your work.” He wasn’t going to back down from this.

"You won't be happy with it in the morning it's most likely that you'll be pissed off..." Logan muttered under his breath and more to himself, "Also you're not supposed to work in your bed, you're supposed to only associate your bed with sleep-"

“Yeah, for sleep and other stuff, I know, but it won’t hurt to do it this one time.” Virgil shifted so that there was space for Logan to sit and work. “Please?” He whispered, his voice cracking slightly. "Dammit," Logan cursed under his breath, before sighing and giving in, "fine.." He said as he went to grab his own laptop, double checking the battery. Virgil broke into a bright- albeit quite sleepy-  grin. He waited patiently until Logan was settled into bed with him, then snuggled close to him, breathing a small sigh of content and bliss. “Hell yeah,” he mumbled sleepily. "Comfortable?" He asked chuckling quietly, his hand slightly twitching as he resisted his want to run his fingers through Virgil's hair as he most likely wouldn't be comfortable with that. Instead, he started tunnel vision working, or at least tried to.

Virgil nodded and hummed happily, wrapping his arms around Logan’s waist and nuzzling against his side. “Cozy. Warm. Nice,” he mumbled vaguely. “Night...” He soon drifted off into a pleasant sleep, easily the most restful he‘d had in over a month. "Goodnight," Logan said quietly. Once he was certain that Virgil was fast asleep, he began softly running his fingers through his hair, the movement was subtle as not to accidentally wake him up. He went back to work, wondering how it is possible for a man, like the one sleeping beside him, to be that adorable?? After about an hour of working he shut off his laptop, and placed it on the bedside table along with his glasses. He shut off the light and wrapped his arms around Virgil, moving him ever so slightly so that he was resting his head on his chest. Soon enough he drifted off to a deep and restful sleep as well.

Warm. Safe. Cozy. That was what Virgil felt as he slowly woke up the next morning. He yawned, starting to move one of his arms so he could rub his eyes... and finding that it was stuck. He opened his eyes, confused, and blushed furiously at the sight. Logan was curled up in bed with him, their arms around each other and their legs tangled. Shit, Logan looked so peaceful and unfairly beautiful as he slept. Instead of jerking away and ruining the magic of the morning, Virgil relaxed in his embrace, allowing himself this small bit of piece before Logan woke up. Unable to resist, Virgil reached up, slowly and gently running his fingers through Logan’s soft brown locks.

Only a couple minutes later, Logan's eyes slowly opened, Virgil quickly drew his hand back when Logan began to shift and wake up. He tensed slightly, anxiety creeping inside of him. Would Logan be irritated at him for being so clingy? He winced at the thought and hoped that wasn’t the case. Logan went to rub his eyes to fully wake up only to realize the weight and warmth around him. He blinked a couple times, unable to really see anything, he reached for his glasses and put them on. Only then realizing that Virgil was awake, "Oh... Um... Morning..." He said, his voice still has that rough tiredness to it as his face flushed a significant tint of red.

Virgil’s face turned an even darker shade of red when Logan spoke, his voice rough and low. “Morning,” he whispered in return, his voice soft and raspy. "So... Um... This is incredibly comfortable..." Logan mumbled more to himself, still in that state of drowsiness from just waking up, so everything he was saying was unfiltered and purely truthful. “It is?” Virgil asked quietly, almost wondering if he imagined Logan saying that. “I... I never took you for a cuddler.”

"I didn't take you for one either..." He shrugged before yawning, Virgil shrugged a bit, staying silent for a minute before hesitantly speaking up. “I was never one for hugs and stuff as a kid, but one of my friends in high school was kinda clingy. He never crossed any boundaries or anything, but he loved cuddling and playing with people’s hair and stuff, so he’d do that to me, and... yeah. I guess I didn’t realize how touch starved I was until then.”

Logan hummed in understanding, "I never really had anything of that sort, I came off as too emotionless. Also, just, from a scientific standpoint, most humans, except those with mysophobia, generally need physical contact, whether they choose to admit it or not," he explained. Virgil nodded, allowing silence to fall over them again. Birds chirped quietly outside their window, sunlight streaming in through the cracks in the blinds. He waited, seeing if Logan was going to get up, assuming that he’d eventually get restless or annoyed or... something. When nothing happened immediately, Virgil took a chance and scooted closer, resting his head on Logan’s chest.

Logan smiled slightly, he was enjoying this peacefulness, he wasn't sure if Virgil felt it was awkward or something like that, so he decided to ask, "Are you... Okay with this?" He didn't want Virgil to go along with it if he wasn't. Virgil’s heart gave a tiny flutter. “Yeah.” More than okay, honestly he thought to himself. He draped an arm over Logan’s stomach, glancing shyly up at him to make sure he was okay, too. The corner of Logan's mouth quirked upwards the tiniest bit, "good," he said in an almost whisper not wanting to cause the silence to break too much. He glanced down, his eyes meeting Virgil's, causing the same feeling that he had from the previous night to come back, the feeling of wanting to just lean and kiss him, but also not wanting to ruin this, whatever this would be classified as.

Virgil felt a small shiver pass through him as Logan met his eyes. Shit, they were so beautiful: a deep, intelligent blue that you couldn’t help getting lost in. They reminded Virgil of the ocean, of the night sky, of the universe. His heart began to beat faster, and he was aware that he could hear Logan’s own heartbeat from where he lay on his chest. Logan's lips parted a bit, his own heartbeat sped up, he wanted to say anything to prevent himself from breaking this, if they were to date and it didn't work out, they wouldn't be able to have this, they wouldn't be able to be as close as they are now... He knew this, he knew that this could end badly... But instead of stopping he allowed himself to slightly lean forward, giving Virgil time to move away if he so wished.

Virgil’s eyes widened slightly as Logan leaned forward, his heart pounding as his mind began to spin. A million negative and fearful thoughts raced through his head. But instead of allowing those thoughts to overwhelm him, he stayed where he was, keeping his eyes on Logan. He allowed his lips to part, his face dusted with pink as Logan grew closer. Logan's hand moved to cup his cheek, his thumb brushing over the skin softly. He allowed his eyes to shut as he connected their lips in a sweet kiss.

As I write, the U.S. stock market (S&P500) has declined about eight per cent from its highs at the beginning of October. Investors, generally being the short-term animals that they are, are now showing definite signs of concern that the end of this extraordinarily long bull market is coming to a theatre near you.

They may be right: Even after the recent plummet in stock prices, the Shiller PE Ratio is still trading at approximately the same level as at the market tops back in 1929, preceding the Great Crash. Interest rates appear to have bottomed after spending the past decade at some of the lowest levels ever. Higher rates naturally mean future earnings and cash flows are valued at lower levels today. Many investors have become shorter in terms of their investment horizon. Daily fluctuations in stock and bond prices have been and remain their focus.

What your portfolio needs to make a good long run

As the famous late economist Herbert Stein said, “If something cannot go on forever, it will stop.”

Well, history has shown Stein to be correct in this statement, especially when it comes to stock markets climbing ever higher. At some point, they stop going up and, surprise, surprise, they can actually go nowhere for long periods or, worse still, will go down. For example, the Dow Jones Industrial Average started the beginning of the previous century at 68. On Aug. 24, 1921, it was at 64. Almost 21 years with no return. From the top of the market in 1929 until June 1949, another 20-year stretch, the market declined more than 57 per cent. The period 1966 until 1982, 16 years, the market declined 22 per cent. And let’s not forget the most recent debacle, which some of you still remember, 2000 to 2009, during which the market dropped more than 42 per cent.

Yet, during each of these periods, the American economy grew even though owning stocks was neither fun nor profitable. Two examples: From 1900 to 1921, U.S. GDP grew at a compound annual rate of 6.1 per cent. From 2000 to 2009, it grew at 4.5 per cent.

Perhaps it’s at exactly a time like this that investors need to think more in terms of a longer horizon. And when you do that, it becomes evident that the human condition has never been better.

My grandfather was born in 1880. I was fortunate to have known him until he died at 90 years of age in 1970. When you look at the world he was born into, it looks nothing like it does today. Transportation was mainly by horse, trains and ships/boats. No cars, no airplanes. He was born 23 years before the Wright Brothers made the first powered flight. He also was unfortunate enough to be born in Russia and lived through the Russian Revolution. Starvation, pogroms, political and economic chaos was his world. Survival of he and his family was at the top of the list.

Health care? In 1900, the leading causes of death in the U.S. were pneumonia, tuberculosis (TB) and diarrhea/enteritis. In fact, life expectancy between 1871-1880 was only about 40 years.

From that time on, conditions improved immensely. The 20th century saw massive public health improvements and the average life expectancy for Americans today has nearly doubled since 1880, reaching 78.7 years.

We humans seem to love focusing on the risks. The front pages and the internet emphasize the negative. The list of disasters and bad news is overwhelming: nuclear proliferation, climate change, overpopulation, the spread of terrorism. People, in an almost masochistic way, seem to enjoy reading this stuff (as long as it doesn’t involve them).

However, even in the past 50 years, the number of technological developments has been staggering. As for the future, the possibilities are unending in terms discoveries and inventions. In fact, it’s nearly impossible to keep up with daily advances in technology, medicine and science.

So, what does this mean for investors? Well, if they can stop watching the daily “scoreboard” of violently fluctuating stock prices and invest in companies that have an excellent chance of being worth much more over the coming years, I believe they and the world as a whole will experience a future filled with incredible advances my grandfather couldn’t even have dreamed of.

What it requires is fortitude to weather the current turbulence and take advantage of lower prices to buy terrific businesses that have a high probability of increasing in value over time. Companies that will participate in the advances described above and enrich those endowed with the right temperament, as Warren Buffett describes it, to enjoy the long-term capital appreciation that, I believe, time will deliver.

I had a car accident in my 2004 Honda under my dads insurance. Im 19 and I didnt get dropped from insurance. The accident had 3 claims of bodily injuries and a total loss car & I was at fault. But on insurance quotes for the car i will be getting i will be the main driver but not the policy holder or registered keeper as i still live at home with her and she will still use the car to go shopping and things like that but I will drive that car the majority of the time. A few nights ago I accidentally brushed the side of my neighbor's car with my front bumper (cause she was parked like an idiot as usual). I'm taking full responsibility of it cause it's my fault and I have no problem with that. Initially I was going to pay for the scrape to be compounded out and whatever else was wrong as a result of me hitting it. However, when I spoke to her, she started pointing out a ridiculous amount of things: there's a scratch in addition to the scrape (ok, sure), she says I cracked her light (maybe I did, it's possible) but she's also saying that I caused her tire to pop out and that there's tread missing from it (which makes absolutely no sense because I didn't hit the tire or rim or wheel well at all). Basically, she expects a whole new paint job and a set of tires which is ridiculous for the small amount of damage that was done. I want to make sure she isn't trying to take advantage of my insurance company and cause my rates to skyrocket as a result. The car is a complete piece of sh*t and she doesn't take care of it at all - the paint's dull, the rims are rusted - and I think she's trying to fix these things by making it like they were a result of me hitting her. I have no problem at all taking responsibility for the damage I did, but I do have a problem with her making things up and trying to fix other issues through my insurance company. The last claims representative I spoke with told me that I would not be contacted by the adjuster at all since there is no damage to my car. Someone recently hit my car while it was parked across the street from my house. I almost thought it was a hit and run till I found their business card on my windsheild. Car Insurance Claim Help? On the 4/7/2011 I was at a set of traffic lights that was (RED) of my way to the shops. As the lights went green I begin to move off slowly as I did another car came from the left of me and tried to turn right as he speed up he crashed into the drivers side of the car. He clearly jumped a red light (Clearly Seen on CCTV). I was in total shock at the time! After he crashed into my car he went to drive off by reversing, I jumped out of my car to stood in his was so he could not drive off the witness behind me called the police while I was stopping his from driving off he started to drive forwards trying to me me out the way. After the driver spoke to the police on the phone, he then gave me his Name, Phone number and Insurance information. The next day I called my insurance company they was vary helpful and I believe the clam would be settled in my favor as I had CCTV of the crash as I had a camera inside of my car and a witness that was behind my car at the time of the crash. After nearly 4Months I have now revived a letter stating that the claim has been closed on a Without Prejudice Basis. When I contacted Aviva to see what the 3rd party has not accepted full liability they said it was dealt with like this as the 3rd party who crashed into me was not responding to and calls or letters that have send him. Aviva did not asked to see the CCTV of the crash and did not take into account the witness statement. WHAT CAN I DOOO??""

Ive been sleeping a lot more than normal lately because thats the only time things dont bother me. When I was about thirteen I had an issue with cutting, I would talk to my guidance counselor (which is not an option now because I did home schooling and now am done with school until college next fall) and when she realized that I may have some more serious issues, she called my mom. My mom always brushed it off. She talked to me a total of one time, only when I went to my older cousin and my cousin forced my mother to talk to me. Basically, my mom got mad because I said I didnt feel comfortable talking to her and she refused to send me to a counselor, then she said she would send me to a counselor (at that time I had insurance) but she never actually ended up doing anything. So I went back to doing what I always do, pretending to be fine, and for the most part I controlled it. I stopped cutting until about seven months ago, which was also when all my other issues started popping up. I havent cut myself in a few months now, but I still have the urge to which is not okay. Depression and other mental health issues run in my family, and I keep thinking of one particular relative who got so bad that she took her own life. Our company got bought out & our new employer is doing open enrollment for health insurance next year. I currently have roughly a $75 monthly premium with a $500 deductible, then the employer pays 80%. Hello all, i'm looking for car insurance on gocompare.com site and if i'm taking the insurance on my own name, the price comes up at 1,200 for a 1995 Ford Fiesta LX 1.2.
