listening to a podcast with one host being an su fan and the other having just watched it not liking it at all because the characters were too unlikeable. one example they gave was pearl which, understandable, she is hard to like for many especially in the first season. and then they said they watched the first episode and then ROSE’S SCABBARD and i had a seizure right then and there i think

#this is why you don’t tell people to ‘skip the filler’ you’re making them watch characters at their lowest without knowing the status quo #or seeing the character be nice at all 😭😭#imagining showing someone room for ruby or raising the barn as their 2 lapis episode #even aside from the lack of lore context #also they cited steven being annoying as a big one and yeah that happens when you show the first episode #and then one where he keeps chasing down someone shouting at him to leave her alone
