Following the announcement of Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night last week, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine #1497 features new information on the games, including information that there will be brand new original music like in Persona 4: Dancing All Night, and a replacement for that game’s story mode.

This information has been leaked early via Ryokutya2089, and translated via Gematsu.

Atlus is making the best of the experience it gained developing Persona 4: Dancing All Night in polishing the visuals, action, and every other element of the two new Dancing titles.

There will be completely new songs.

There will be a new mode that replaces story mode.

The PlayStation 4 version of each game will run at 60 frames per second.

The gameplay system will follow that of Persona 4: Dancing All Night, but with brush-ups, additions, and removals.

They want to introduce crazy elements and colorful elements that cannot be done in the original story.

All of the members of the Atlus Sound Team are participating.

The upcoming issue of Famitsu will be released in Japan on August 10, 2017.

Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night will be released in Japan for the PS Vita and PS4 in spring 2018.

Official previews have been released for Weekly Famitsu magazine #1497 and Dengeki PlayStation Vol. 644, both of which will feature new information on Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night.

This follows leaks from the magazines with initial details from the features.

Famitsu

Famitsu will feature initial outlines of both titles over 4 pages, along with comments from producer Kazuhisa Wada.

Dengeki PlayStation

Dengeki PlayStation will introduce the main characters of each work, in addition to members of SEES who appeared in Persona 3,  and dance scenes of the Phantom Thief group who played a part in Persona 5.

In addition, there will be an interview with producer Wada Kazuhisa and composer Ryota Kozuka, discussing various aspects including the history of the title, and development.
