barry lyndon is the best film ever made in my opinion and the scene where barry talks to his future wife’s current husband and the guy gets so angry he dies is the funniest scene in history. the scene where he steals a gay officer’s coat and proceeds to desert the british army (and get caught) is a close second.

Hello!! Could I have some headcanon for the chocobros finding their s/o playing piano?
Hello! You sure can ♥
I didn’t know if you wanted to get headcanons of them walking in on their S/O playing the piano without prior knowledge that they played it, or if they knew already. So instead I did a mix of both + general headcanons of how they’d be with a S/O who plays the piano. Also, sorry that it took so long to get this up. Thank you for sending in a request nonnie!
SFW under the cut
NOCTIS
He was pretty surprised to find you playing the piano. He knew you were a musician, as you brought it up in some of your conversations together, but you’ve never played in front of him before.
The Prince is very impressed. You play the piano beautifully, and music seems to come to you naturally.
He recognises the piece you’re playing, too, since he also plays the piano and a bunch of other instruments—he was taught from a very young age, because apparently being musically gifted is important to royalty.
He’s just leaning against the doorframe of your bedroom with a slight smile, watching you play. You didn’t even realise that he came over to visit (don’t give Noctis a spare key to your house/apartment, because he WILL stop by unannounced) until he broke the silence by saying: “You’re pretty good at that, you know.”
After you recovered from almost having a heart attack since Noctis does not know the concept of giving you a heads up, or knocking, you stopped playing and got up to greet Noctis with a kiss on the cheek, and dragged him to your bed.
You know that 98% of the time he randomly drops by, it’s because he’s really sleepy and just wants to take a nap with you. Plus, it was raining heavily, and there’s was most likely going to be a storm later on, and this is “perfect nap weather” according to Noctis.
So the two of you are all snuggled up together, but Noctis notices you aren’t tired in the slightest. He actually really loved seeing you play, and he kinda wishes he didn’t interrupt so you’d just keep going. He asks you to play a well-known piece that his mother really liked (he doesn’t have any memory of his mother but Regis has told him a lot of things about her) for him.
It doesn’t take long, but you end up lulling Noctis to sleep, and it’s the cutest thing ever. You wished you had played in front of him sooner, because you absolutely love doing this. The fact that he enjoys the way you play your favourite instrument AND is calmed enough by it to eventually fall asleep? You’re in complete awe.
“There’s a really nice grand piano in the Citadel, by the way. I could, uh, take you there sometime, if you’d like. It’s in a big music room so there’ll be no neighbours complaining about you playing too loud.”
He does end up taking you to the Citadel—to the music room he talked about. You just have a regular keyboard in your bedroom at home, and even though that’s more than enough for you, playing on a grand piano (one that’s owned by royalty, too) is just a completely different experience.
You and Noctis go to that room quite often, actually. It’s one of your favourite places to be with him. You’ve also watched him play the piano, too, and he’s spectacular at it. He looks ethereal whenever his fingers touch the keys.
Noctis prefers the acoustic guitar to the piano, though (he’s been taught to play a lot of instruments). Sometimes he’ll take out a guitar and just improvise while you play on the piano, and other times you’ll both be playing together.
PROMPTO:
Sunshine boy is amazed. His eyes widen and his jaw drops, and the sounds that come out of his mouth are a mixture of complete adoration and shock.
He looks at you like he’s found a secret treasure chest, or something. As if he’s in disbelief at how talented and beautiful you are. You keep surprising him every day, honestly.
He’ll literally just sit there and watch you play for hours, and he’ll probably film it with his phone, too. He has the biggest smile on his face and he’s just enthralled with you, because he appreciates talent of every kindbut his favourite kind is more of the artistic type. Even though you play the piano as a hobby, and he partakes in photography, he sees it as something you both have in common. And he loves that you’re an artistic person like him.
Speaking of filming you while you play with his phone, he’ll also want to take photos of you with his really good camera. “Ooh, wait, keep looking like that while you’re playing! The angle and lighting is per-fect!”
Really, really, really loves it when you say a piece reminds you of him. It just means so much to him. Absolutely loves all the sentimental things in a relationship and he’ll never forget it if you tell him this. His heart almost jumps out of his chest whenever he hears you playing a piece that you’ve said is a reminder of him.
Always talks about anything piano related with you, and does a lot of researching about renowned pianists. Will find a bunch of piano pieces and make a playlist of them so you two can listen to them together; he usually listens to music that has vocals included but because of you he really appreciates this type of music now.
And of course, he has a playlist that is dedicated to you. All the piano pieces he finds that reminds him of you are added, and there are a lot.
He asks you to teach him to play sometimes, but unfortunately, he’s not musically gifted. But he doesn’t mind! He really likes how you’ll always be enthusiastic whenever you teach him, and not give him shit for being a beginner. And also, he really loves it whenever you place your hands over his while teaching him. Yeah, you’re in a relationship together, but it still gives him butterflies. Blondie loves that innocent physical contact.
GLADIO:
Not really into the classical stuff, but like most people, he appreciates talent!
“Huh, you’re pretty good with your hands. Not surprised.”
Out of the four boys, he’s the one who will make a “big deal” about this the least. It’s not because he’s unimpressed—he’s very impressed—it’s just that, like his reading, it’s something to be appreciated with a more tenuous approach (which is surprising, because it’s Gladio we’re talking about here…)
You know…him relaxing on the couch, reading a book, and you’ll either be in another room or the same one; just playing away. It creates a nice atmosphere and calms you both down.
The only time he’ll actually sit down and give you his full attention is if you ask it of him, or if you’re trying to show him something new you learnt. It’s hard not to get all fidgety under his eyes though, but don’t worry, he’s looking at you in adoration! He thinks you look absolutely stunning while playing, and loves how the corners of your mouth lift up slightly whenever you play.
He brags to other people that you’re the 21st century Mozart. He’s the #1 guy at hyping up his partner, and he’s not gonna be humble about your musical talent.
If you have just a regular keyboard and have mentioned you want something else, he’ll save up money to get a really nice piano of your liking for your birthday.
IGNIS:
He’s sort of a mix of Prompto and Gladio
He’ll take a more tenuous approach, but he’ll be more involved. He plays the piano, too, and loves to indulge in his hobby with you.
He’ll take you on a date to see the orchestra whenever he has the money saved up. Usually your dates are a quiet candlelit evening at his place, or at a nice restaurant, so going out to see an orchestra play is a special occasion and it won’t be regular.
Really likes to have you playing the piano as background music whenever he cooks dinner (which is all the time).
He’ll just sit and watch you play sometimes, with a content look on his face. The piano is the most beautiful instrument to him, and you’re the most beautiful person in the world to him—he comes to a conclusion that this is the closest place to heaven on earth.
Like Prompto, will share pieces/compositions he enjoys with you. Not only that, but he’ll like to discuss the piano with you. Just anything about it. His favourite composer, your favourite composer, favourite compositions, favourite piano makers/brands, etc.
When he watches you play, he’s mostly staring at your hands. He thinks that nice looking hands are unappreciated, and his eyes are just locked on them—he finds them mesmerising when they’re against the keys of a piano, and he can’t get enough of the elegant and regal ambience you’re emitting.

My Sony A7iii Review
Regardless of its charging as a 'fundamental' model, the Sony a7 III is an especially able full casing camera. Despite the fact that it doesn't have the most megapixels or shoot the quickest blasts, it's all-around made a decision about the blend of goal, speed, highlights, and value point make it a simple proposal for a wide range of picture takers and a wide range of photography. For me its used for my Manchester wall art photography.
The a7 III accompanies an entire host of enhancements contrasted with its archetype, and stacks up well in the commercial centre in general.
The a7 III's new sensor has a similar goal as the a7 II yet accompanies another plan for better execution in splendid light and low light
The new 693 point self-adjust framework is an immense knock from the a7 II's 117 point framework
Ergonomic upgrades make the a7 III considerably more responsive and lovely to use than the a7 II
Contrasted with its opponents in the commercial centre, the a7 III is very much situated in various regions, especially video, however its lower goal viewfinder stays a worry
The BSI configuration implies that a portion of the wiring and hardware is moved to the back of the sensor, taking into account better low-light execution somewhat. Double increase basically implies that the sensor has two 'base' ISO values that take into account either greatest unique reach in brilliant light or better clamor execution in low light, contingent upon your circumstance.
This sensor likewise carries with it another self-adjust framework, with 693 on-sensor stage location focuses that cover 93% of the edge. The refreshed sensor works pair with another 'front-end LSI' (basically an extra processor) to catch up to 10 edges for every second with full self-adjust and auto exposure, just as taking into account oversampled (read: point by point) 4K/24p catch from the full width of the sensor and 4k/30p from a somewhat trimmed locale.
Past these inward changes are the vast majority of the outside changes that went to the a7R III. The new Z-type battery exiles the 'battery tension' we felt with past models, double SD card openings take into consideration moment reinforcement or flood, and refreshed controls and menus take into account hearty customization choices, including separate catch capacities for video and stills.
Despite the fact that we respect the Sony a7 III's £1745 GBP MSRP to be sensible for a full-outline camera body, there's no denying the value climb contrasted with its archetype. Be that as it may, when you take a gander at the subtleties of what you're getting, it looks to us to merit the premium.
The a7 III has put on some weight and width contrasted with the more seasoned a7 II, yet it's as yet a minimized camera, perfect for my Manchester street photography, particularly considering it has a full-outline 35mm sensor inside. It's additionally picked up a large portion of the ergonomic and controls modifications that we initially observed on the a7R III, with a couple of exemptions.
Like the a7R III, the a7 III's more profound grasp considers a more open to dealing with while additionally accounting for the bigger battery. That bigger battery offers 2.2 occasions the endurance of past models, and will handily last you daily of weighty shooting. Double card openings take cover behind a hooking entryway, with one of the spaces supporting higher-speed UHS-II class cards, and the film record button is in a more reasonable spot. What's more, much the same as the Sony a9 and a7R III, when you flip out the back screen to lay it on the line, the eye-sensor for the viewfinder is crippled, so you don't coincidentally trip it and miss a shot.
There are currently committed AF-On and AEL fastens rather than a switch, however the catches are excessively soft for our preferences, and a joystick permits command over the situation of the self-adjust point. The front and back control dials and the back run dial are for the most part undeniably more articulated, and there's an additional custom catch that defaults to rating or 'ensuring' pictures in playback mode.
At the end of the day the control design will be somewhat more recognizable to clients of midrange or very good quality DSLRs than past Sony a7-arrangement cameras; as far as we might be concerned, the self-adjust joystick is one of the most significant and helpful increments to the camera.
Another issue is that when utilizing the AF joystick to move your AF region around, the region stays a dull dim shading, and it tends to be exceptionally difficult to see in both brilliant and dim shooting conditions. We wish it would illuminate orange, as it does when you drag it around utilizing the touchscreen.
Talking about the touchscreen, the a7 III's screen can't get as splendid as that on the a7 II; rather than the RGBW (red, green, blue, white) spots on the past model, the new camera manages with just RGB, losing the white specks that add splendor for better use in brilliant lighting conditions. Also, the touchscreen usefulness actually falls behind the opposition – in a real sense. It's still laggy, and must be utilized for self-adjust control, not menu route or playback.
The excess oversights are more paltry and less worried; there is no glimmer sync port on the a7 III, and the mode dial doesn't bolt.
Sony's Auto ISO usage speaks to current industry best-practice; with a dependable auto ISO framework, you have one less presentation boundary to stress over for general shooting, and you can zero in additional on the photographs you're taking.
On the Sony a7 III, you can determine both the base and greatest ISO values you need the camera to use, just as a base shade speed edge. In any case, for those utilizing long range focal points. Base shade speed set to 'Auto,' with choices to predisposition it quicker or more slow than 1/(central length). You can likewise dole out the ISO reach and least shade speed to custom catches, for simple changes on the fly. This permits you to adjust immediately dependent on, for instance, subject development - from making a move photograph of a runner at 1/1000 sec, to taking a snappy picture at 1/125 sec.
Set forth plainly, the Sony a7 III is another benchmark for full casing cameras because of its convincing mix of significant worth and capacity – and the way that this arrangement of cameras has overcome much in under five years is noteworthy in its own right. For around a similar cost as an 'section level' full-outline camera in 2012 and 2013, the a7 III offers speed for the games shooter, self-adjust precision for the portraitist, dynamic reach for the scene picture taker and low light picture quality for the couple at a candlelit supper. What's more, remember about the best video quality and list of capabilities this side of a devoted film rig.
Saying this doesn't imply that that in long stretches of testing and investigation, we didn't discover a few things we might want to change. No-nonsense DSLR clients will protest about lagginess in the UI. Halted down centering keeps on disappointing. The a7 III's outline beating video quality is let somewhere near baffling video self-adjust following. We realize the climate fixing isn't top of class, and truly, we know there are intermittent antiques brought about by the stage identification pixels that feed the on-sensor self-adjust framework (however if you don't mind we beg you, read the picture quality segment on this issue prior to remarking).
However, in pretty much every circumstance we put the camera through, regardless of whether shooting soccer, commitment picture meetings, birthday events or companions' headshots, we really wanted to be intrigued with the fact that it was so natural to get incredible pictures with the a7 III. And keeping in mind that the approaching cost won't be achievable for everybody, the Sony remains above numerous friends that sell for the equivalent or comparable costs. For that, it procures my most noteworthy honor.

Danielle Fishel + Jensen Karp’s Romantic + Whimsical Wedding Day
You know how sometimes it feels like a certain person would be your best friend if you ever met them in real life? That’s how we feel about Danielle Fishel —someone who has brought a lot of laughter and joy into our living rooms. She’s stepping behind the camera these days, directing Disney Channel favorites like Raven’s Home and Sydney to the Max (premiering 2019), and she left an imprint on America’s heart as Topanga in our TGIF fave, Boy Meets World. SO…when we heard she recently got married, we were so totally over the moon!! Jensen is the Executive Producer and creator of the TBS show, Drop The Mic, and the Executive Producer of the upcoming Unqualified (also on TBS) starring Shaquille O’Neal and Ken Jeong. And LA locals will recognize his voice from KROQ’s Kevin and Bean weekday morning show. Basically, these two are total rock stars and today we are SO excited to share an exclusive first look at their dreamy wedding at the Carondelet House in Los Angeles!
Danielle gave us the goods behind the day’s details, beginning with a look at how the wedding design came together:
The design process for us was all about hiring great vendors who pulled the design together. Each one added in a little something fun and unique so we ended up with a look that was completely custom and really fit us as a couple. Our planner, Lisa Gaskarth with Union3 Events, took our ideas and expanded on them to design this romantic fall aesthetic with some really unique pieces. For example, when we picked linens out at La Tavola, we decided to use their rodeo linen which has little horses and cowboys all over it. It was an out of the box, quirky idea that we took a chance on and it ended up kind of being the inspiration for the whole wedding. We loved it so much we’re even using the fabric to make pillows for our new house!
Sometimes inspiration comes from the most unexpected of places! Jillian McQuerrey of B.O.B. Photography captured all those fun details of the day and some seriously sweet moments between D + J—let’s have a look!
Delightful Details
We came into the planning process with a few personalized pieces in the works like our custom pins and logo by Clark Orr which is a play on our last names, both including fish!
Danielle wore a little something blue in the form of these Bella Belle shoe soles!
Jensen custom designed Danielle’s engagement ring and their wedding bands were from XIV Karat in Beverly Hills.
The Wedding Party
Danielle’s bridal party included Sabrina Carpenter, Jamie Leff Choi, and Danielle Robb. The gals donned black gowns and carried some seriously gorgeous fall-boho bouquets by Honey & Poppies!
The groomsmen, Justin Siegel, Matthew Robinson, John Mayer, and Chris Bentz, wore black suits of their choice. D + J wanted everyone to be comfortable and were less worried about being perfectly matched.
Aren’t they so sweet?!
And HELLO, doesn’t she look stunning? We love Danielle’s approach to her hair + makeup:
I only knew that I wanted to feel like a prettier version of my everyday self. I have worked with Laurie Heaps and Julie Cuomo for YEARS and not only are they incredibly talented, but they are also dear friends for life. I didn’t have a hair or makeup trial as I just trusted them to work their magic and I knew I’d love it. Julie got my skin wedding ready with a few peels at her spa, Jolie Beaute Wellness Spa, and then she did incredible skin prep before even starting my makeup (which she also executed flawlessly).
I only told Laurie I wanted to wear my hair up (it was a request of Jensen’s to see my whole face) and I had no idea what she planned to do. I also have no idea how she did what she did but I almost cried when I looked in the mirror at the end. I am absolutely obsessed with the Jennifer Behr pieces she used and my hair stayed perfectly all night and was very comfortable.
A Romantic + Whimsical Ceremony
We wanted our florals to be unique, romantic, and whimsical and we really wanted a dramatic floral hanging piece above the area where we said, “I do.” It was also the backdrop for our sweetheart table. We (Danielle, Jensen, and Lisa) met with Megan from Honey & Poppies and told her those super basic details and she absolutely ran with it. At every turn, we were amazed at what she had done and now we’re asking her to make us a permanent version of the hanging ceremony piece as art in our home. All in all, the venue felt so warm and full of love that day and that’s what mattered most to us.
Our Musical Choices
Processional: Family and Bridal Party: Processional: Stand By Me by Stringspace Orchestra | Bride: Pachelbel Meets U2 by Jon Schmidt
Recessional: Folding Clothes by J. Cole
First Dance: John Mayer performed XO by Beyoncé
My brother was our officiant which was really special to both of us. Of all the aspects of the wedding, our ceremony seemed to be everyone’s favorite element. My brother did such a good job (his first time as an officiant) and he was personal, funny, touching, and just the right length. We wrote our own vows and I think they were the right amount of engaging and sentimental. I can’t wait to relive it on video.
Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding
Jensen's vows. He told the story of how we both hated Thailand when we visited and the whole room erupted in laughter. His vows made perfect turns from hilarious to absolutely touching (everyone shed a tear when he mentioned wishing his father Larry, who passed away ten years ago, could be there with us), and romantic. Our ceremony was the highlight of our wedding hands down.
The Newlyweds: Mr. & Mrs. Karp!
SO stunning, these two!
Wondering about Danielle’s utterly dreamy dress? We’ve got the cute story behind her look!
Shortly after Jensen proposed, I asked him what kind of wedding dresses he liked. He genuinely had no idea as he’d literally never thought about it. He said, “I don’t know. My favorite ‘you’ is jeans and a t-shirt you.” So I quickly googled “t-shirt wedding dress” and the WHITE x Vera Wang for David’s Bridal dress popped up. I stupidly turned my phone around and showed it to him and he said, “Oh my God, I love that!” I made a mental note to try that dress on when I started my search and it ended up being the dress I loved. I had my seamstress (A Stitch In Time) change the sleeve to a slightly longer, scalloped sleeve and close up the open back a few inches. I ended up being so happy with it and felt comfortable all night.
A Candlelit Reception
D + J opted to skip several traditional wedding moments like speeches, dances with parents, and cutting the cake in favor of more opportunities for conversations over the table and lots of dancing!
For us, the most important part was that we became husband and wife. After that I just wanted everyone to have an amazing time and not be interrupted with more words and photo opportunities I don’t love anyway (I knew I wouldn’t frame a cake eating picture for my home)!
We’re definitely onboard with this cowboy linen from La Tavola Fine Linen!
Danielle turned to borrowed BLU to help hand select each piece for the tablescape. From chargers and plates to copper water tumblers and rose gold flatware, the fall romance seeped through in every detail!
Our Advice To Those Planning Now
Make as many details specific to the two of you as you can. We had a logo, pins, custom napkins with fun facts about us, among other things, and those were the details that people commented on the most because they were unique to our wedding. Also, hire vendors whose work you love and people you can trust and then let them run wild. Don't micromanage them! You hired them for a reason...let them do what they do best and then be pleasantly surprised with the outcome. Best thing I did outside of marrying Jensen :)
How fun is this reunion!!
Oh, and the perks to having John Mayer as one of your best friends? The best first dance in all of history, of course. John sang his cover of Beyoncé’s song XO as it was a personal fave of Danielle + Jensen.
And definitely don’t miss their gorgeous wedding film by Atomic Tangerine! So magical….
To Danielle + Jensen, we’re so thrilled for you and in awe of your beautiful wedding! Congrats from all of us at GWS!
