Oh so misgendering a pedo and rapist is a bigger crime than the raping part?

It's not a bigger crime, dingus, but respecting a person's actions and respecting a person's identity are two completely different things because, surprise, everyone is capable of evil regardless of gender, sexuality, ethnicity, nationality, religion etcetera etcetera.

Besides, by purposely misgendering transgender criminals you're just signaling to innocent trans people who have not committed any crimes that the respect of their person (not actions, in case that still isn't clear), is conditional and not, you know, a basic human right. Unless you would also intentionally call a cis woman criminal a man or a cis man criminal a woman for some reason, which would be rather strange wouldn't it? Unless you want to imply that behavior and criminality/innocence is directly linked to a person's biological sex, which is quite a terf-y sentiment isn't it?

Coldflash:

Out Cold. - Captain Cold’s plan for a bit of fun with his nemesis results in more than he bargained for when a head wound from dashing to Flash’s rescue leaves him without any memories of who he or The Flash is. As Barry nurses Len back to health, both of them quickly start to hope that he never remembers being Captain Cold as the attraction they feel for each other turns into something more without the pitfalls of being enemies to stand in their way.

AU with everything having happened up to the Season 1 finale, except Eddie shot Eobard instead of himself, killing him, and the singularity didn’t happen.

Cover Up. - Lisa drags a disapproving Len down to The Flash Tattoo Studio to watch her get a tattoo, but during her session, Len becomes drawn to the artist, tattoo artist extraordinaire Barry Allen. After seeing the amazing job he does on Lisa’s one-of-a-kind tattoo, he decides to chance asking Barry for help covering up a secret he has, one that he wears on his back, underneath his clothes, and speaks of every foul thing his father ever did to him.

(AU with some nods to canon. Mention of Lisa dating Cisco. Barry has his speed force powers…maybe. Len’s story line is pretty much the only one that stays truest to form. Just for visualization purposes, Lisa’s about 25, Barry’s about 27, and Len’s about 32.)

Tumbling Together. - When Barry and Len discover that they’ve accidentally become neighbors, they learn to navigate their new living situation amongst misunderstandings and a surprising amount of common ground.

AKA the fun-as-it-comes Neighbors!AU which turns into a Pretend Relationship!AU filled with tropes, hijinks, and some vague notion of a plot.

Would You, Could You. - A High School AU Series. 

The Flower That Blooms In Adversity (Is The Most Rare And Beautiful Of All). - When someone falls in unrequited love, flowers begin growing inside their body, gradually killing them. The flowers go away if the love becomes returned or if a surgical operation removes the flowers. However, surgery removes not only the flowers but the feeling of love itself, and Barry has never been willing to give that up.

Bad Day? - A homicide involving a trans woman puts Barry in a painful place at work, and with himself. He doesn’t expect to find comfort from Leonard Snart, of all people, no matter what feelings Barry may harbor for the other man.

There’s a Menace In My Bed; Can You See His Silhouette. - When The Flash is put under the influence of a metahuman’s heinous lust power, Captain Cold ends up caught in the crossfire.  (Heed the Tags)

The Good in You (the Bad in Me). - Before Starling and before the particle accelerator, Barry meets Lisa and Leonard Snart.

In which Barry makes some unexpected friends, inadvertently launches a promising criminal career by accidentally starting a few (literal) fires, and maybe starts to fall for a certain overdramatic thief.  (WIP)

Shovel Talk. - Barry warned him that people might try to give Len the shovel talk, now that Barry had decided to bring his and Len’s year-old relationship into the light. Len never said he was going to be nice about letting them.

Love Me. - A meta-human with Cupid-like powers whammies Barry to fall in love with the first person he sees. Just his luck it happened to be Captain Cold.

(“He hasn’t let go of me for almost an hour,” says Len, focusing his steel on Cisco, who shrinks considerably.

“’Cause I love you,” says Barry beside him, his teeth gleaming as he grins. He tries to kiss Len again—god, the seventh time?)

Realm of Darkness. - Barry was a young god craving chaos and Leonard was the deadly king of the Underworld seeking peace.

A Hades/Persephone AU with powers/Greek Mythology

Maybe Somewhat Out Of The Ordinary. - “That’s not a wolf,” Barry told Cisco, pretty convinced except for the small voice in the back of his mind that had been screaming at him for the past four months that there was a predator very close by. “That’s my dog.”

A Week on Rogue’s Mountain. - Leonard Snart has organized a special Christmas-time retreat for all his closest pals. Unfortunately for Barry Allen… there’s a secret Santa auction, and he’s on the block.

ColdWestAllen: 

What We Become (Depends on What Our Fathers Teach Us). - Family dinner at the West-Allen house, featuring Leonard Snart in the role of Not-A-Father.

What Brings Us Together. - After a brief encounter with a mysterious stranger while on vacation, Iris found herself with an unexpected souvenir. Luckily, she has Barry there to support her. She never expected to run into that stranger again. To be fair, Len never expected to find out he was a father while on a morning coffee run.

I’m Covered in the Colours (Pulled Apart at the Seams). - It’s a common misconception that people can only see in black and white until they meet their soulmate.

When Barry Allen is born, he’s only able to see the colour red. When he meets Iris West in Kindergarten, she gives him yellow. When he meets Leonard Snart thwarting an armoured car robbery, he gives him blue.

Should’ve Known Better. - Seven sexy roleplay ideas that Barry, Len, and Iris came up with together…that were not good ideas.

Really, their lives would be so much easier if they weren’t all such sticklers for accuracy.

I Don’t See an Easy Way to Get out of This. - Iris and Leonard go to unspeakable lengths to stay alive. Barry gets caught in the fallout, and it’s a beautiful disaster.  (Heed the tags)

Cold Truth. - Christmas may have been the first time they met, but Iris has known Leonard Snart a lot longer than she thought

All I See Are These Strange Tides. - Empathy causes more problems than you might think.

In which a struggling teenage metahuman meets her heroes and attempts to give them the best reward she can think of: happiness.

Hell yeah!! I’m really glad you like them thank you!! A lot of my headcanons come from stuff I noticed while reading the stories to be honest. I’m gunna break this into two sections just so I don’t confuse myself, one about Holmes and one about Watson.

Watson headcanons 

Okay so my headcanon that Watson is bi is pretty standared. He’s obviously attracted to women for example Mary, but the way he writes about Holmes is also extremely romantic. There’s barely a story where Watson isn’t talking about Holmes’ sparkling eyes, his lean figure, his expressive hands, his brilliant mind etc, so this one seemed to come pretty naturally.

As for Watson experiencing PTSD and depression, I feel that this can be seen quite early on in a Study in Scarlet when Watson says: 

 “I laughed at this cross-examination. “I keep abull pup,” I said, “and I object to rows becausemy nerves are shaken, and I get up at all sorts ofungodly hours, and I am extremely lazy. I haveanother set of vices when I’m well, but those arethe principal ones at present.” 

Watson himself admits that he is unwell, and while he might be reffering to his physical health, the things he lists as his “flaws” seem to also imply some kind of mental health problems. Laziness could easily be a reference to the apathy and complete lack of energy that comes with depression, as could Watson rising at “ungodly hours.” If this is meant to mean late in the day (which I think it is, given that Watson mentions a few times that he’s a late riser) then again, it implies the apathy of depression. If it refers to Watson waking up at various points in the night this could be problems sleeping which come with both ptsd and depression. 

“I object to rows because my nerves are shaken” to me implies ptsd following the terrible things Watson would have seen in the war, as does Watson saying earlier on in the same chapter that he’s had enough excitement to last a lifetime. Given what his experiences in Afghanistan were likely to have been, I think ptsd is a pretty reasonable assumption.

It’s also implied a couple of times in the books (Holmes’ keeps Watsons cheques locked away, Watson refers to spending a lot of money on the horses) that Watson has a gambling addiction, which again would point to him having mental health problems. The fact that the Richie films straight up gave Watson a gambling addiction is one of my fave things about them tbh. 

Holmes headcanons 

Okay so! My headcanon that Holmes is gay comes in part from his complete rejection of women. All throughout the stories Watson is constantly like “oh yeah and Holmes didn’t love women, he really didn’t have any attraction to women, gosh what an automaton because he didn’t find women pretty, have I mentioned recently that Holmes never once had any feelings anything like love towards a woman?” even in Scandal in Bohemia Holmes is shown to be impressed by Irene and have a lot of respect for her, but Watson once again emphasises that he had absolutely no romantic feelings for her. 

On the other hand, the way Holmes interacts with Watson is very romantic. He holds his hand when they’re in dangerous situations, he’s constantly touching him for seemingly pointless reasons, he whispers in Watson’s ear, he watches him sleep, he wakes him up gently, and of course we have the infamous “qucik man, if you love me!” line in dying detective, and The Scene in the three garridebs. Also in Hound of the baskervilles, Holmes express worry about sending Watson to the moors and says that he’ll feel much better when Watson is safe at Baker Street again. For a man supposidly immune to the softer emotions, these all seem pretty loving and romantic to me, thus leading me to believe that while Holmes certainly never had any romantic feelings towards woman, he did have them towards men, and especially Watson. 

I believe Holmes to be autistic due to his extreme focus on science and criminal law etc. I definitely think Holmes’ “single minded devotion” can be read as him having a special interest and fixating on it due to autism. Also, while Holmes is often very soft and understanding to people, he does sometimes interact with them in ways that seem strange and says the wrong thing. He sometimes snaps at Watson or insults his writing, but given the rest of Holmes’ character I find it hard to believe that these actions are outright malicious but rather coming from Holmes struggling to navigate social interactions and social queues, due to having autism. 

And finally, Holmes as a trans man. There’s arguably less evidence for this one, but still enough that a few people have picked up and written theories on it. It’s obvious from the get go that Holmes is an extremely isolated person, other than Watson he doesn’t appear to have any close friends, barring maybe his interactions with Scotland Yard. Holmes has also cut all ties with his family except his brother, and even then it’s not until after years living together that he even lets Watson meet Mycroft. We, as readers, are never given any explanation for Holmes’ separation from, and silence about, his family. We’re not told if his parents are dead, or if he’s estranged from them. As previously touched upon, Holmes is constantly rejecting femininity, and is constantly disdainful of things deemed to be feminine. Despite this however he also seems to be isolated from most men. This to me, and others, seems to imply that Holmes is attempting to distance himself from femininity, and yet there his something (such as him being trans) which stops him from interacting with and fully fitting in among other men. Holmes’ separation from his family could also easily be as a result of Holmes being trans, and feeling the need to remove himself from people who perhaps wouldn’t except that, and who would dead name him and use the wrong pronouns. 

The ways Watson describes Holmes can also support the idea that he’s trans. Throughout the stories Holmes is described as being slim, as having a relatively high pitched voice, as never having any facial hair and in fact having a “smooth face.” While it isn’t much, I think when considered with the previous points it deffo provides a solid foundation for headcanoning Holmes as a trans man. 

Aaaah sorry this got super long and I probably didn’t make much sense, but I hope that explains why I have these headcanons!!!! If you have any more questions/want to chat about all of this I’d love to!!!
