In Sturge-Weber Syndrome, seizures usually begin in early childhood and may or may not continue through out adulthood. I've been doing a lot of research on SWS and seizures in relation to it so that I can portray everything correctly, but I always want to learn more

This drawing is kind of rushed and there's more I wanted to add to it that didn't end up in the final (like Colress taking off Ghetsis' eye piece and timing the seizure) but I'm glad I at least have this drawing down because the image has been floating in my head for a while

NOOOOOOOO I LOST THE AU I WROTE FOR YOU 😭😭😭 I LITERALLY SENT IT AND TUMBLR SAID "NETWORK ERROR". L FOR THE WIFI. L. Not cool I'm literally crying I thought that AU was genius. It was a Teacher!Buggy AU with Crocomom and Dadhawk. + Shanks co-parenting Luffy with Crocodile. That note was so long I literally spent like 45 mins writing it here on your ask and it was just. Gone. Or I think it did. Why does life hate me. I'm just gonna be brief with this cuz I still think it's golden lmao. Croco and Mihawk work long hours so their kids (Luffy, Zoro, Perona) have to wait for a few hours until they're picked up by their parents. The school doesn't have school buses bc I said so (no I am not cruel it's just out of my budget /j). So Buggy takes the responsibility to keep them comfortable and entertained while they wait. Croco and Mihawk meeting this charming (and clown looking) blue-haired guy and they start courting him. Shanks gets dragged in on the courting bc of Luffy. Also he was already courting Buggy. I didn't write their process of courting I basically skipped and went,, their wedding will take part in a Goth castle. And the design are all sunshine and rainbows (literally). Sanji, Usopp, Nami, Vivi, Zoro and Luffy being in a class along with other kids. Franky, Robin, Jinbei and Brook are in higher classes. Chopper is atom. Not here in the world yet. Perona is like, 2-3yrs older than her brothers so. Yeah *awkwardly shuffles* (I love perona I swear-). Implied Zosan. Some rando: but you didn't imply shi— Me: Shhh I did. *gaslighting*. Law is also there in the classroom with lower grade strawhats. He's suffering. He only attends 3 days a week tho, he's mostly homeschooled bc of his sickness. He's homeschooled by Cora. Kaya is there, same classroom with Usopp. I have no idea how to continue this lmao, but I do hope you find this interesting bc Buggy is 100% great with kids and probably teaches well bc he is a big nerd and makes lessons interesting. (Also, the whole reason why I wrote this instead of letting the idea slip through my mind like the others is bc the image of two goth men courting a clown looking mf was funny to me. So here we are lmao. The way I wrote this makes Shanks look like he's the person they let into their open relationship twice lol I'm so sorry 😭😭)

That's really sad, I really like this idea (though I see Shanks and Buggy more as siblings, but I understand the idea of Shuggy) It's fine that this became about so many people, I really like this.

Teacher!Buggy sounds so cool, you know that he's the flashiest and maybe one of the craziness of the things he'll do to get his students good things that will boost their learning. He knows that every kid might not have the same learning paths as others.

How many classes does this man teach? Who knows, too many for how much he gets paid. All teachers needs to get paid more.

I would think Jinbei and Brook being other fun teachers in the school, like Tom could be as well!

I really like this idea, and the imagine of two gothic men trying to court a clown-looking mf is really funny to me as well.

All Things That Were Once Lost| Four Brothers

*Sorry that this has taken me so long to get up. Life has caught up with me and it hasn't been pretty at all, and also this kind of takes a turn from the movie but I like it so far.

“Ma, go, I will be okay.” Vivi commented around a yawn, she had an emergency c-section to deliver her daughter Evelyn Grace, and her mom got a call about Darnell, one of the neighborhood boys being caught stealing at the store down the street.  

Evelyn frowned, Vivi had been through hell and back with this pregnancy and with her husband who was missing in action, she didn’t want to leave her alone until Jerry and his wife got there.  

They had been tag teaming up with Vivi, making her sure her husband couldn’t get to her and the baby. 

 “We will keep an eye on her Mrs. Mercer.” Angela the nurse said they had seen the bruises and seen the scars that littered Vivienne's body, “No one will get near her.” Angela had been one of Vivienne's best friends in junior high and had been one of the only friends Vivi had.  

“Ma, go help Darnell. Evie and I aren’t going to be doing much.” Vivi said, “you can come back afterwards.” Evelyn looked at her daughter and then her granddaughter who was laying on her chest, getting skin to skin contact. 

“I will be back. I will get that stuff for those cheesy potatoes you love so much.” “Thank you mama.” Vivienne said softly as Evelyn kissed her forehead and the top of Evie’s head.

It was almost three hours later when Josh came into the hospital room followed by Greene, his partner. “Excuse me Detective Fowler. Visiting hours don’t start until 8 am.” Angela said, standing up from her chair. 

“This is police business.” Josh returned, before stepping into the room. 

“Is she okay?” Greene asked Angela who was now by the door. “For the most part, Evie was breech and they had to go in and do a c-section.” 

“And the bruises?” Greene had figured out that his partner had been abusing his wife and was trying to help Vivi when he could. He owed that to her brothers. “Healing, she was with her mom when her water broke. Is Evelyn okay?”

  The man shook his head and stepped into the room, in time to see his partner pick up the baby who was screaming her little head off and Vivi who was trying to pull herself out of bed begging him to give her the baby. Angela rushed to her friends and pushed her back onto the bed, “Vi, you can’t get up like this.”

 “Josh give me the baby.” Greene ordered, “we are here to talk to Vivienne not to do this.” Josh looked between his partner and his terrified wife and handed the baby to Greene, who settled the baby quickly and handed her to Vivienne. “What are you doing here?” Vivienne asked cuddling her baby to her.

 “We have some bad news.” Greene started. “Your mom is dead.” Josh said before Greene could say anything else. “What? No! She was just here with me and Evie 3 hours ago,” Vivienne said, she pushed herself up with her free hand and stared at them wide eyed. “She was at the corner store.” 

“Yeah, one of the neighborhood boys got into trouble and she went down to talk to him.” Greene nodded his head, he had gotten a Evelyn Mercer talk once or twice. “Two gang bangers went in and shot up the place.” 

“No. No. No.” Vivi said as she handed Evie to Angela and pulled herself out of bed. “You are lying, you are following his lead.” Greene was by her side in an instant to help steady her. He had been through enough births with his wife to know how much it hurts and how long it can take to get back on her feet. “I am so sorry  Vivi, but it’s true.” He said softly, pulling her up when she started to crumble to the ground. Josh threw pictures onto the bed and his wife broke into sobs seeing her mother’s dead body.

“Vivi!” Jeremiah, her second oldest brother exclaimed as he and Camille came into the room, he went over to his sister and hugged her while Camille went to the nurse to take her niece. “Jerry! This is my fault! I shouldn’t have let her go help out Darnell.’  “No, it's not your fault at all.” He assured his sister before glaring over her head at Fowler. “We will leave you guys alone.’ Greene said, grabbing a hold of his partner’s arm and leading him out of the room muttering angrily to him. “What are we going to do without her Jerry?” Vivi asked once the room was quiet. “I don’t know. I don’t know.”

3 days later 

“Vivi, I am so sorry about your mom.” One of Evelyn’s coworkers said to the younger Mercer who was standing quietly next to her brother and his wife. She had slipped into the quiet Vivienne she had been when Evelyn first brought her into the house and only talked to Jack or Angel. She was too spooked to speak to anyone else. “Thank you.” Jerry said for them, “You’ll have to excuse my sister, she is still recovering from the birth of her daughter.” The woman went to hug Vivienne but she stepped back and then rushed across the snowy terrain and into their younger brother’s arms.

 “Hey Vi,” Jack greeted as he hugged her back tightly, “You good?” “No. You?”  Jack shook his head even though she couldn’t see it. “Look at my two little sisters together.” The all too familiar voice of their oldest brother Bobby came from behind them causing Vivi to pull back and look at him, her eyes full of tears. His eyes studied first the tears and then the faded bruises. “Later.” She said, “I will tell you everything after.”  With a heavy sigh Bobby nodded his head and pulled her and Jack into a hug. “We are going to handle this.”

This is a terrible, terrible idea I keep repeating myself.

If I’d shown a little more steadiness with my sister I wouldn’t be in this situation. I knew she was nervous about presenting her girlfriend to the family, specially to our father. And because she is extra as hell, she couldn’t choose another date that wasn’t on Christmas Eve. For weeks now she’d been texting me, grumbling about how was she going to be able to pull it off. I told her to relax and just go with it.

What I didn’t expect though, was for Vivi to arrive out of nowhere to the school where I work, talking nonsense about me bringing a fake date to dinner with hopes of taking the attention away from her. 

After spending 15 minutes trying to convince her it is not necessary for me to do that, her insistence is such I end up babbling how bad that idea is since I already have a boyfriend, and fake dating someone else would certainly create problems.

Big mistake.

Looking at me with something like betrayal in her eyes, now she starts questioning me about that boyfriend who I’d never talked about before. I bite my lip. When it comes to personal stuff I prefer to keep it private, even with my own family. I have my reasons. 

And just because luck is not on my side today, in the middle of her inquiries I hear a faint “Hey, babe!” behind me. I groan. Of course. Of course he had to arrive in that moment. 

We both turn to look at him. Cardan approaches us wearing that mischievous grin reserved only for me, so different from the polite smile he uses with his students. His hair is tied up in a bun as he also wears it for work, few curls escaping it in the most adorable way. 

With a pang of panic, I notice Vivi noticing how dumbfounded I’m looking at him. Her eyes light up in a way that I know means nothing good. I frown at her. 

“I was looking for you on the cafeteria, one of your students told me you were here.” He pauses. “I- didn’t notice you were busy though, sorry.”

“Not at all!” Vivi says with exaggerated enthusiasm. “I’m Jude’s older sister, Vivi! You must be her lovely boyfriend.”

“Oh, yeah I am. Nice to meet you!” If I didn’t know him so well I wouldn’t notice the slight blush on his cheeks or the way he looks at me in contained alarm.  

It’s too late by the time I put the pieces together. When I realize what is about to happen, my sister is already handing Cardan a rolled piece of paper.

“I came to make sure Jude invites you to our family Christmas dinner! She’s so absentminded sometimes isn’t she?” 

I’m going to kill her. Slowly.

Horrified, I stand there and see Cardan take the invitation, grinning. His polite, charming smile.

“I wouldn’t miss it,” He says. “Thank you so much Vivi.”

My sister turns to me and whatever look it’s on my face makes her hesitate. Although, not enough. She claps her hands once and makes an excited squeal. “Well I must go now! But I’m so excited you’re coming to join us Cardan, see you there. Ciao!”

With that she turns and leaves.

So here we are. My boyfriend driving by my side, as we are about to arrive to my parent’s house.

My knee bounces without control as I twist my scarf between my fingers. At any moment now, I’m sure my heart is going to bolt out of my chest. 

“Jude dear, is everything ok?” He asks. I notice I’ve been quiet almost the entire road.

I turn to look at him. He looks dashing, even if it’s not a strictly formal dinner he always finds a way to dress as it was. Black ensemble and green scarf that stands out his pale skin, though his nose and cheeks have a touch of color because of the cold weather. 

“Yeah it’s just... My family is a little,” I pause. “I don’t know how to explain it.”

We are not the type of family that introduces romantic partners, ever. My twin sister tried to do it some years ago with a terrible and embarrassing outcome. At some point in the middle of breakfast, she’d asked her daddy to pass the salt. Both our father and Locke moved to grab it at the same time. What came next, well… if that Locke dude had restrained himself to make a sarcastic and really tacky comment about it, maybe he would still be welcome in the house. Alas, he is not. 

Ever since that day, every time someone brings a guest to the house my father gets in a mood that is pretty uncomfortable for everyone. Sooner or later he makes everyone run.  Not exactly the first impression I want Cardan to have. 

We’ve been together for some time now, about eleven months. But the topic of introducing our families has never been on the table so far. I know he comes from a problematic family even if he doesn’t talk much about them. As for me, I have to admit I’ve grown so attached to him that I’m terrified of Madoc, or any other of my relatives, scaring him away.

He takes my hand in his, warming it, and smiles softly. “It’ll be ok. Breathe.”

I sigh, hoping he’s right and grip his hand tighter.  

The inside of the house looks as if Santa’s bag had exploded. There are lights and ornaments everywhere. Even the tree is bigger than previous years. A delicious smell of food fills the place. As I stare in awe I hear voices coming from the living room.

“Jude? Is that you?” Hurried steps sound in the wooden floor and a few seconds later my little brother appears wearing an absurd red and white onesie. He crashes against me and I laugh, hugging him back.

“You do realize that’s for little kids don’t you?” I ask. “It looks good on you, though.”

Oak scoffs and pulls back. “Well of course it does. I look good on everything.”

Cardan chuckles next to me and for the first time my brother notices him. His eyes and mouth open widely, blinking at him and then turning back at me. Once. Twice.

“Jude,” He murmurs. It cracks me up how shy he can get around new people. “Who’s this?”

Ah, here we go. I take a deep breath and grab Cardan’s hand again. 

“Don’t be rude,” I warn him. “His name is Cardan. Cardan, this is my brother Oak.”

Cardan greets him, extending his hand to him. Oak shakes it, visibly puzzled. “And Cardan is…?”

“My boyfriend.” 

A slow, mocking and devilish smile spreads on his face. I swear to god that kid was taken out from the movie Cheaper by the Dozen. All the shyness is suddenly gone.

“You and Vivi are really trying to give dad a heart attack today aren’t you?” He turns to Cardan and adopts a serious expression I almost believe. “Please tell me Jude doesn’t call you daddy.”

“OAK!” I hiss. I look at Cardan and he gazes back with amusement, I notice he’s biting back a laugh. 

“WHAT? I need to know earlier if I need to take my phone out, last time I didn’t have time to record when dad…” He motions with his hand. Yeah, I remember.

“She doesn’t.” Cardan affirms. Mimicking my brother’s mischievous smile he asks. “Is there a story there I need to know?”

Oak hesitates, even though I’m sure he’s dying to spill it out.

“Taryn would kill you.” I remind him.

“She’s not coming. For what I’ve heard, either it’s Locke’s turn to visit his family or something about dad running him under the car if he dared appearing. I’m not sure.”

Great. 

“What if I beat you at Mario Kart?” Cardan asks, pointing at the console resting next to the tv. 

Oak squints at him. “Are you challenging me?”

“It’s not a challenge when I know I’m going to win.”

Turning to me, my brother grins. “I like him.”

I know this is the first time I’ve brought someone home, but still I don’t know if I should be offended at my parent’s surprised faces. Oak had to tell my mother twice that Cardan is my boyfriend before she nods in understanding.

On his side, Cardan is being the full gentleman. To be fair he always is, but I notice the extra effort he’s doing today. It warms my heart. The only sign of nervousness I notice in him are occasional deep breaths he takes when he thinks no one is watching.

We get to meet Heather too, who is adorable and I honestly don’t know how on earth she fell in love with my lunatic sister. In a matter of minutes Cardan is already friends with her which helps with her evident tension. Vivi seems to relax as well. 

Christmas music plays on the background as we eat. This is probably my favorite part of the evening. Don’t get me wrong, I love gatherings with my family but food calls me on a spiritual level. Cardan knows it too, chuckling at my excitement while I’m serving us mashed potatoes. 

“So, Cardan.” My father starts, serving the wine. My heart leaps in my chest, oh no. “You met my daughter at work?” 

He nods. “Yes sir, I arrived there about two years ago. I teach preschool and first grade.” Winking at me he adds. “Jude used to hate me.”

Madoc turns to me, frowning. “What happened?” I roll my eyes, classical worried dad.

I take a long drink from my wine and shrug. “Nothing, he stole the ‘best teacher award’ from me, on his first six months. I’m pretty sure he bribed the students that year.”

To my surprise, my father barks a laugh. We all stare at him wide-eyed. 

“Keep repeating that to yourself, love.” Cardan teases. “It was a clean triumph.”

“You’ve always been competitive Jude, that’s no secret.”  Vivi adds. “It’s nice to finally meet someone who can pull up with that.”

I turn to glare at her. You and I are going to talk later. She sticks out her tongue at me. 

“Do you guys have sex?” 

“Oak!” My mother shouts as my father and I both choke on our wine.

When Cardan parks the car outside my apartment it’s already past midnight. 

Surprisingly, this turned out to be one of the best Christmas celebrations I’ve ever had. My boyfriend somehow managed to not only avoid any uncomfortable moments around my family but also to wrap them up around his little finger. With jokes and tales about us the night had passed incredibly fast. 

Toasts were made, hugs and gifts were given. By the end, we were sprawled on the floor wearing silly sweaters and watching the merciless Mario Kart match between Oak and Cardan. It ended up in a tie. Rematch was already set for New Year’s Eve.

It was everything I never thought it would be.

“Well, did Vivi’s plan work?” Cardan asks.

I turn to find him already looking at me with a knowing smile on his face. Still, it doesn’t reach his eyes.

“C’me on, you weren’t really planning on inviting me to your family’s dinner. Something was surely going on the day she gave me the invitation.” 

Sighing I whisper. “I’m sorry.” 

He knows me too well, more than I even know myself sometimes.

“Don’t be, it’s not a topic we usually discuss.” He shrugs, reaching my hand with his. His thumb makes slow circles on my skin “Still, I should’ve asked if it was ok with you. Forgive me if I crossed a line.”

“You didn’t. I just wasn’t planning for you to meet my family yet.” I regret those words the moment they leave my mouth, knowing how they sound. Cardan doesn’t let go of my hand but he stops his ministrations. “Wait, that wasn’t…”

“Jude, it’s ok.” He says, turning to the windshield. I know him well enough too, and notice the touch of sadness behind his words. 

“No it’s not. Please listen.” I insist, my heart is beating fast now. That look on his eyes is exactly what I tried to avoid the whole night. “The reason why I wasn’t thinking to introduce you to my family is that they’re ridiculously hard and annoying with every new person that visits. And this is the first time I took someone home and…I don’t know, I-”

“You thought I’d leave?” He turns his gaze back to me, warily. 

At the beginning of the day I did. But I don’t find the words to admit it, so I don’t answer.

After a moment of silence he asks “Do you want to know why I agreed to go?”

I swallow and nod. Cardan inhales deeply..

“We’ve been together for some time now. And you know, you must know, I’m not playing around Jude.” I start to say something but he silences me with a soft finger against my lips.  “I love you. If I agreed to whatever scheme your sister had in mind it was because I wanted to show you that I’m not going away. No matter what.”

“My family…”

“They love you. It’s only natural for them to ask what my intentions are… and maybe tease us about it too. I’m willing to admit your dad is a little scary. But not enough to make me run away.” He winks, cupping my face.“There is nothing on earth that would make me want to run away, Jude. That’s how much I love you.”

Feeling my eyes sting I blink. “I love you too.”

We’ve said those words before. But I find that they acquire a different meaning, somehow deeper. My chest is suddenly too small to hold everything I feel for this man. He’s not going anywhere. He loves me. I’m grinning like an idiot and I’m proud of it. 

I lean to rest my forehead against his. “Since it’s our first Christmas together… and you already met my family.” His smile widens at that. “Would you like to stay the night?”

“There’s nothing I would like more.” Cardan angles his head to give me a kiss that I accept gladly, coiling my arms around his neck.  “I usually spend Christmas alone, I guess it’s time for new traditions.”

We remain entwined for some minutes, it fastly turns into something hotter and desperate. I’m already straddling his hips when I pull back a few inches. I bet my lips are as swollen as his. He is looking at me with hunger… and love.

“How about a tradition in which we spend Christmas night undressed and watching some crappy Netflix movies?” I suggest.

My toes curl when he leans to bite my lobe and purrs. “Yes, please.”

1.Deku!! Could relate to him to some level, and i loved the hard work he put in not losing his kindess on the way! A real role-model if u ask me

2. That’s gotta be Sanji! He’s so COOL! Always sticking by his principles even if it kills him (which happens more often than u’d think), not to mention he is a badass cook! I almost gave up on my plan on becoming a doctor to try becoming a chef, but then Chopper hit me like a truck.

3. THAT’S GOTTA BE YOH! My boy! I love him so much! All he wants is to have a chill life and hoo boy, can i relate to that. And just like him i got on the hardest path possible for that... we are not the brightest heheheheh!

The character you never expected to love so much:

1. Id say Kirishima! Dude is a simple jock on the outside but he’s acutally very uncertain of himself and that is relatable af! Comparing himself to those around him all the time and still trying to become as good as possible! Neve give up Kirishima! Im rooting for u bud!

2. Id say Robin... ever since she joined the crew i was suspicious and not exactly sure what her role there was. But after Enies Lobby she grew a lot on me and now i rly like her! Not to mention that her knowledge will be useful to get to Laftel, im sure of it.

3. Not gonna lie, im not usually a fan of villains. Usually am with the ppl on “cool story, still murder” vibe. But Hao is SO FUCKING PRECIOUS! I mean, he HAS to make up for all the shitstorm he made to get to where he is imo. But after readin Mappa Douji, u will have to think twice on his beliefs.

1. Tbh id say Kirishima! Upon closer inspection id say the boy has too much going on and still trying his darnest, cant be more relatable than that ehehhehe

2.  Tbh ive felt too much like a monster in my lifetime not to relate to Chopper. Wanting to fit in when surrounded by ppl who dont give u even a small chance at being a friend is rough and by the time i got to Chopper’s arc in OP i was feeling like that in school. Everytime i watch those few episodes of Hiluluk flashback i have to hold out on crying a bit, part bc of feeling like u want to fit in and part bc their relationship reminds me a lot of me and my dad and hoo boy am i gonna cry now

3. Chocolove. Sad but going for the smiles! Make comedy your weapon and any weapons fall before your hand made kangaroo

1. Everyone would say Mineta. Id punch him tho. Bakugo on the other hand deserves a backhanded slap to the face!! Im from the not so well recieved opinion that the whole bullying he put deku through was not smth to be treated as lightly and even tho i get it that this is a lighter themed show, i would rly like for this toppic to be adressed sometime soon. I agree, however, that he is just a kid and should not be held accountable for this through his whole life, but to me, he still hasnt come to the conclusion that what he did was wrong. i dunno, i just want them to get along, but i need more development on this part reggarding bakugo

2. Luffy, of course. He is a great guy, dont get me wrong, but he NEEDS to learn to be a bit more careful. He almost dies with such a frequency that ANY insurance company would turn down ALL Gold Roger’s treasure if they had to take him in

3. Hao tbh. If he’d just go through the Shaman Fight like everybody else he would have won. Didnt need to fuck up half the character’s backstories just to do that.

I got this ask like 2 weeks ago!! unfortunately i don’t know any facts about myself so it took me this long to come up with something.

FACT 1: I have a cat!! she is twice the size of the average cat, which is the perfect size. when she lays on me she covers my entire torso. she weighs 15 pounds, which is the same as the lightest kind of weighted blankets, but she is better than a weighted blanket bc she is warm and fuzzy and makes cute sounds in her sleep. she is perfect in every way.

FACT 2: I thought I didn’t like Wang Yibo’s new song that much until it became available on spotify and something in me snapped and i’ve been listening to it on repeat for the past 2 days. literally just looping it over and over. please help me

FACT 3: in lockdown I’ve been doing this thing where I make a massive amount of baked goods, package them up, and tool around town on my bike delivering them to my friends. one of my friends calls it “vivi’s delivery service.” it makes me really happy (doing it, and also the name)
