Let's talk about my favourite duos in each IH campaign. . Not the player duos but the characters. Since all the players have the amazing chemistry with each other and know how to build relationships etc.

It's why most of the campaigns just go hard with Found Family with the exception of A Crown of Candy. . That's just Family. But the others - 100% found family.

FANTASY HIGH

All 3 of the campaigns in this world.. the Bad Kids friendship with each other is so heartwarming and sweet it's amazing. The kids are also traumatised as well as forced to grow up into the world. But also how they really do care for each other. So choosing a duo for each year was bloody hard.

Freshman Year : Gorgug and Fig

Honestly yeah. The friendship between Gorgug and Fig is basically why they started Fig and the Sig Figs. Fig got Gorgug into drumming to help with his rage etc.

Sophomore Year : Fabian and Gorgug

How can you not love this duo. They really come into their own this season. It's the hug when they reunite in the Nightmare Forest. Like take the fact that the first interaction these two had at high school was Fabian punching Gorgug. . Then to share a hug after Gorgug told Fabian that he remembers him.

Junior Year: Riz and Kristen

The class president and her campaign manager.. what's not to love. Honestly Junior Year was tough for me to pick a duo since I love all the duos out there. But Riz and Kristen take it. It's Riz watching Kristen when she goes and talks to her parents. It's him backing her play towards the Rat Grinders as well.

The Unsleeping City

This setting I feel like is one the underappreciated campaigns or the underestimated ones. Like it's not underrated. This weirdly has turned into my comfort campaign, I just can't get bored of this setting. Give me more urban fantasy settings D20 please. Like this campaign setting literally gave me my 3 favourite NPC to PC relationships (Ester and Ricky, Dale and Sofia, Liz and Kingston). In the first chapter, you get the very good example of "you don't need every character to have insane character development in order to tell the best story" in Ricky. Chapter Two has sort of the similar vibe with Ida and Rowan.

Chapter One : Kingston and Pete

The Voxs .. I could write an essay on the relationship of these two. The growth and development of both of them. Like come on. .from Kingston telling the rest of the team that he will and would put Pete down if Pete goes out of control... To apologise and revive Pete during the Robert Moses fight. The father - son relationship.. these two had

Chapter Two : Ricky and Cody

The Journey of these two is one of my favourites. Just the duo of Zac and Murph 100% helped, but the growth of the duo was soo good. Ricky and Cody, the paladins of the group are doing insane damage in the final fight.

A Crown of Candy : Lapin and Liam

There is a lot to say about the duos of ACoC. They all have their story to tell. They all grow. But the Lapin and Liam story is very bitter sweet. But the reunion between the two of them when Lapin saved the kid and told him of the Bulb etc, was so cute. Like literally the smile and small laugh from Lapin from Liam told him, that he will kill "that carrot".

Starstruck: Barry and Margaret

This season was hard to pick. They all are soo good and chaotic. But Barry and Margaret duo was honestly a good duo. The call to arms tactic, Margaret brought in. Make the already protective Barry, more protective.

Neverafter : Mother Goose and PiB

Just the two voices of reason of the group. . . Yeah PiB being the voice of reason half the time was very interesting. Like if a trickster spirit is telling the group to calm down a little or reign it in then oh boy. .. but Mother Goose and PiB are such an interesting duo. I honestly quite like the old man and his cat....

(also kinda clocked most of them are the quartet of Zac, Ally, Murph and Lou. . that's not intentional at all... )

listen guys. there is So Much stuff in the meanie tag that if i rec a meanie fic, you just know it's the best of the best. the whole best-friends-who-act-like-theyre-dating thing is delicious But add that with oblivious mingyu and pining wonu and a confession not taken seriously and jealousy and you have an absolutely stellar fic. and wow, guess what, that's exactly what this fic is

soooo soft and soooo sweet!!! i love little canon fics bc theyre always so self indulgent and i love that for the author. also adorable jihoon who can't sleep without soonyoung?? that's absolutely adorable and i cried a bit bc my heart was Melting at how soft they are

honestly ive never even read those caregiver + regressor fics before but this one :((( instantly the best one of those types of fics ever like. i don't even know what made me click on it but it's So sweet and devastating and regressor!seok now has my heart bc of course this lovely man with big doe eyes should get to act like a 3 year old every now and then to relax

The Tiger On The Mountain - natigail

hnnghghfh listen. people really underappreciate the potential for hybrid fics and shapeshifter fics that hoshi's tiger agenda brings, but this uses it really well! i love the interleaving of fantasy into Totally Normal Lee Jihoon's life and dude,,, the cliché tropes r all just so good

seungkwan is so!!! himself!!! in this fic and i literally even have one section of this fic screenshotted bc i screamed about it to my friend since it was such an on-point seungkwan characterisation. also user thanku4urlove literally writes the best verkwan fics. i think i've recced their fics in every list so far

Saying some things about Little Hope because I am. A fanatic

I think the main reason I love it so much is because I'm 100% a story over gameplay type of person. Like I get why the ending disappoints people from a gameplay perspective. It might feel like all the work you did to save the characters was for nothing. But storywise I don't think it was a bad choice. It actually just being a reincarnation story would've been good too, but I really don't mind where they took things. The whole locked traits and "fighting your personal demons" elements can also be annoying (I'd know bc Daniel died in the ruined house my first playthrough and I wanted to SCREAM) but narratively? I think it's great!! Wouldn't have it any other way. My favorite part has to be the constant overlying question of "Is she (Mary/Megan) really to blame?" It's just SOO GOOOD. I love Little Hope. Have I mentioned that I love Little Hope?? You should play Little Hope. And if you've already played it you should play it again. In my opinion. Just how I feel. Appreciate it harder to make up for those who underappreciate it. Thank you for your time 😁

thoughts on the colors red, blue, green, and yellow? any comments on the shapes triangle, square, or circle?? rhombus

first of all i gotta tell you that im enjoying this ask twice as much cause i got multiple spam asks since yesterday and did not expect an actual question... anyway. im gonna answer this 200% in earnest, as it should be, obviously (yes i actually did write this out, strap in ig)

red: listen i know everyones favorite color seems to be blue for some reason but red is RIGHT THERE. i heard somewhere that not all languages differentiate the same colors as english (and other european languages), but the first color after light/dark there will be a word for is usually red. idk if thats true but seems plausible, cause yknow whats red? fuckin berries to eat, also blood (either concerning or also to eat, ig). cavepeople knew red was important business. also its pretty and you use it to make pink.

blue: not to imply that blue isnt also good. its got a range. looks very fresh. i do like a teal-ish blue but others are cool also. its really rare in nature ig? but if it does occur its looks rly good! (im saying this rn cause my desktop wallpaper has blue flowers lmao) also if i had a cent for every time i had dreams with intense, seemingly really significant blue night skies, i'd have 2 cents, which isnt much but weird etc etc.

green: ok i like green but, unpopular opinion time, i want neither a green couch nor a green kitchen. i want a pink couch and a blue kitchen. that being said green fucks and is part of some iconic things, such as HES GEEN, and also my favorite song green soop by dooboo, which references the fact that soups can be green (@geminyde)

yellow: finally yellow is super underappreciated. im kinda mad that yellow doesnt suit me super well in clothes cause theres so many cool yellow things id want on a shirt. people only ever think of bright neon yellow but it also had SHADES.

now, the shapes. people at art school will try to convince you that these have some deeper meaning and even a gender (??) cause some guy whose name i forgot claimed they do and thats bs. heres the actual truth about them. triangle pointy. also an instrument! theyre really flexible cause they can have wildly different angles and like?? thats different from squares, which are literally all the same, except for size ig? but thats nice it gives them a sense of stability. theyre ol reliable. ever wonder why they had town squares but never town triangles? well,

anyway the circle is most definitely the princess of shapes. you might think its really basic compared to like uhh a trapezoid or whatever cause you learn about it in kindergarten, but its so fucked up it has ZERO angles?? but then if you wanna render it its got a huge amount of angles/into infinity instead? you can calculate any shapes area with basic maths basically but ohh noo not the circle. its soo special. we love that for him but you gotta be honest.

ngl i had to look up what a rhombus is and its just idk a Raute ig. its a rectangle who wants to be special. which is fine we all need some attention sometime but like, its a rectangle on its side. its doing its own thing. i think it should have a different english name tho tbh. rhombus reminds me of the name rhonda and that has a different vibe. idk if that one was also a question or just an addition tbh but there u go

Replayed Togainu no chi + watching the anime

First thing I want to say I played tnc first few years ago and I was absolutely obsessed with it to the point I couldn't think of anything else and at the time I considered it my favorite visual novel (spoiler: not anymore) and don't get me wrong I still love it a lot, I kept the 9/10 rating which is very very rare for me althought I have to admit it's probably more my nostalgia and overlooking some flaws than it being that good lol.

It really pains me to say a substantial part of the game I kept thinking how much this doesn't feel like it did the first time and I want to believe it's because I already knew everything that was going to happen. Especially Shiki's route, I like him but his route was soo boring hardly anything happend in it besides the h-scenes which I liked but they could've done so much more there plot wise. Nano's route was also meh but that much I expected considering what I rememberd and the fact that I haven't seen a single positive opinion about it.

It's not much of a review I just wanted to share some of my thoughts. At the end of the day I still really love tnc as a whole especially it's atmosphere that had me captivated instantly. and Rin omg Rin is so underappreciated he deserves everything.

Having gone back to my n+c hyperfixation I couldn't not brag about it to everyone I know and somehow that got my friend from school interested in watching the anime for it which means a lot since she's not even into anime (or so she claims because we watched a few together in the past year and she keeps wanting to watch more). I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much if I watched it alone but I have to say I like the pacing because somehow it's so fast the episodes feel like they're 10 minutes so at least it doesn't get boring. The way they merged scenes from separate routes works well in my opinion too as they don't feel off. Overall it's not bad but it is terrible as an adaptation, like most shows based on games. (Granted I have only seen it up to episode 7 as of writing this I might edit the post if I have anything more to say about the remaining half.)

aura from superboy and the ravers,, shes just a great character thank you women. listen i am weak to the initially rude but deeply caring characters and she is simply sick as hell. also danny temple from robin 93 bring my guy back they dropped all that weird backstory and did nothing with him afterwards.. he and tim had such a fun dynamic he was actually interesting and he figured out tims identity (not that it was hard) which could have been soo fun to play around with

edit: i didnt put lonnie here at first bc i wasnt sure how unpopular he is but i think its safe to say hes pretty damn underappreciated (esp since even when his character Is in other dc media its..... not good) so yes lonnie machin too. bc he is my anarchist bestie with so many issues and i love him dearly. there is genuinely so little of lonnie comics to read u can do it in like three days

oooooooh how can you make me choose i love all my children equally!!!! im gonna say uhhh Dauphine Like the Earth Pamphlets ... Robocop? Let's say Robocop. 'Cause it's underappreciated and toxic-tender Roy x Jaime simply cannot be beat.

9. Favorite pairing you wrote for this year?

Hitting me with the hardballs once again!!!! I still have soo much love for my favorite nerdy farmer-vet throuple Helen/James/Tristan and cannot wait to see them again and probably get sucked back in. But Arondir and Bronwyn must also be mentioned for they truly pulled so much fucking fic out of my brain #bless

20. Which work of yours have you reread the most?

It's gotta be my Arondir/Bronwyn missing scene fic series. I just re-read those fics so many fucking times during the season, I was in DEEP. I still am but I've calmed down a bit :P

and a honest 6/10 book- there's nothing ba with it persay but it all feels very cliche and cookie cutter and an amalgamation of trope- I'm hoping it picks up but it's kinda a drag

but I'm at the part he eats the dragon heart, and I hope this is the start to a struggle for our mc Frondier SOO BADD- like they keep telling me he's lazy and disliked but everyone he meets kinda treats him with neutrality and if you're a girl, you develop and interest in him (*eye roll*)

but also, more on frontier and elodie- I need people to understand how delicious of a concept it is- potentially ruining someone you care about 's life because your so desperate and just don't want to end up alone ughh underappreciated ! it's like the subversive of the i-love-you-so-ill-get-stronger-trope
