"Ellie!" Danny shouted and then sped towards the source of the surprise attack. The person he tackled had the sides of her head shaved with a short mohawk the same snow white as Danny. She had four black studs in one ear and three studs on the other side that were teal, orange and pink. She was in black and white winter gear that had studs and spikes on her coat, gloves and boots.

She giggled as they roughhoused in the snow. She was about the same height and build as Danny and that prompted Jason to ask Jazz. "She's the clone sister, right?" He turned to where she had been standing to find she wasn't there. He glanced around to see her standing to the side speaking with Frostbite in quiet voices. Frostbite's face was full of concern. He handed her a bag, set his hand on her shoulder, then turned to go back to the exam room.

Jason watched as Jazz's shoulders rose and then slumped. He approached her, "Jazz?" Her shoulders hiked to her ears. "Is everything okay?" She turned around quickly and she had schooled her expression to seem casual and at ease.

"Nothing you need to worry about. Just Regent stuff. Did I hear Ellie?" She sped past him, securing the bag on her shoulder. He narrowed his eyes, but let the issue drop.

"Yeah, is she the clone sister you were telling me about?"

"Yes she is! She must be here for her shots, it's been roughly three months I think." She cupped her hands around her mouth and shouted in the direction of the flying figures, "Hey, big sis wants a hug you gremlins!" She handed Jason the bag before she was tackled into the snow by two black and white blurs. Laughter broke from the pile of figures and after a few moments Jazz's hand shot out from the mass.

Jason helped her stand leading to them suddenly standing very close to each other and Jason looking up into those perfect teal eyes with flecks of luminescent gold swirling in them. Some of her hair began to float about them before twin coughs startled them both enough that they stepped away from each other.

Jason glared at Danny who put on a smile of innocence perfectly mimicked by Ellie. Jazz brushed the snow from her coat before reaching out for the bag. "So, Ellie, are you planning on staying for a little while before heading out again? Also where's Dante?"

Ellie blew the hair that had come loose from her mohawk out of her eyes before responding. "Yeah, I was planning on sticking around for at least a week since I heard about this whole 'sacrifice' thing." She seemed to bare her teeth at Jason before rolling her eyes. "As for Dante? Him and Skulker bet each other that they could break outta Walker's first a few days ago, I give them another day or two before we see them at all."

"Cool, so Ellie, this is Jason, he's the one who got sacrificed, we are still doing some research on what ritual was used so we can figure out how to break it so we can send him back to his home dimension."

Danny's innocent smile turned to a smirk. "I mean, we still gotta figure out which one he's from to be able to send him back. That could take a while. I say we make the most of it. Once Johnny's done with your bike, we'll do a little tour of my favorite places in the Realms. Probably can get that shard that's messing with your core taken care of too. I'm sure that Pandora would be willing to remove it if you agree to spar with her and introduce her to the Amazons you know once we find where you're from."

Jason's glare had changed to a smile, he turned to Jazz. "Maybe we can take a day and go to the Boardwalk?"

She had a wistful look on her face. "I wish I could, but duty calls I'm afraid. Which reminds me, we should head out soon. Ellie, are you coming with us?"

"Yeah, Frostbite cleared me this morning, I was just waiting for y'all to show up. I already put my backpack in the Speeder."

Jazz smiled. "Great, let's head out then, I have something that I need to take care of when we get back."

The other three watched as she marched herself towards the ship. They shared a look. Danny looked away first, biting his lip as he followed his sister. Jason and Ellie traded confused and alarmed faces before following.

The return trip was spent discussing places that Danny and Ellie wanted to show Jason while Jazz slowly reduced her white-knuckled grip in the wheel.

PART ONE

It was a calm Friday evening, the wind was blowing, the street lines were on and you were walking down the slightly busy paths of Blackmore University. With Chad, of course.

You two had just finished football practice, and it had been three days since the Halloween party. Chad was sweaty, his grey Nike compression shirt had a dark stain on the back, while, you were completely dry.

And the only reason you were was because you had gotten in trouble with your coach about your actions at the party. Should Chad also have been in trouble, yes. Did you take the blame for him, yes.

For your coach, the story was that you had started an altercation with Frankie, turning into a fight which led to Chad jumping in to separate it, which only lead to him getting hit in his nose.

There had also been stories going around about how Sam Carpenter, the 'mastermind' behind last year's killings in Woodsboro tased you. Saying that they wouldn't expect less from a murderer.

"Are you excited to see Tara?" Chad teases, bumping your shoulder with his fist. You shake your head as a small laugh leaves your mouth.

"About that..." Chad furrows his eyebrows, "Don't tell me she cancelled your date."

Now it's your turn to furrow your eyebrows, you turn your head to Chad, no longer watching the path in front of you. "Date?! What do you mean date!"

"What do you mean, what do I mean date?!" He says, repeating your words even louder. "It was never a date?" You state, confused.

Was it a date? Tara had given you another note the day after the party, asking you to meet her at a park not too far from the university.

"Y/N! Why would it not be a date!"

You shrug your shoulders, "I don't know!"

Chad lets out a loud groan, slapping his forehead with his free hand, "If a girl gives a note. Right?" You nod at his words and he continues, "And it says HEART, right?" You nod again, but slower.

"Then it flipping means it's a date. She put heart, twice! Not once, but TWICE!"

You stop walking. Chad also stops, and you can't help but mutter, "Fuck!" You throw your head back, continuing to walk. "It was a fucking date. But I'm not ready for a date, I mean I am!— I don't wanna end up hurting her or I just!—"

Chad stops your rambling, "I know that you're scared to date again, but Tara's not Kayla, Y/N. And she doesn't even watch football, she watches futbol, so I highly doubt she even knows who you are."

You bite on your lip, "Actually... I think she does." Chad turns his head to you, "What do you mean?"

"Yesterday... I was walking and I called out Tara's name and she sent me the meanest glare I've ever seen in my entire life. And I think I know why."

"Why?" You pull out your phone, showing Chad the articles they had written about her sister and you.

"Y/N Y/L/N attacks someone at a frat party, shortly after that the star receiver is assaulted by Sam Carpenter, a born serial killer. The victim says they were scared for their life once seeing Carpenter lift a weapon." He reads, confused. "Wait? What? You didn't even make a statement about what happened?"

"Exactly! And I didn't even physically see Sam lift a weapon, I just felt it." You say nonchalantly shrugging it off.

"Tara probably thinks you did make that statement." He mumbles, "We gotta go see her." Chad picks up his pace, and you can't do anything but follow him confused. "Wait! You mean now?" You shout out, jogging after the fast-walking athlete.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" You ask Chad, he had just knocked on the door of the Carpenter-Bailey apartment. Chad stares ahead waiting for the door to be opened, "Of course. Just hide a bit."

You step out of the view of the peephole, "Oh. Okay?" A few more seconds pass and there are multiple clicks heard before the door opens.

"Chad, hey?" You hear Sam say. "Hi! Is Tara here?" Sam steps aside, showing Tara sitting down on the couch, along with Mindy.

"Hey, sis!" Chad waves, he then proceeds to grab you by your shoulders guiding you in front of him and into the apartment. Sam's slight smile leaves her face, along with Tara and Mindy's.

"What is she doing here?" Sam asks, obviously upset by the fact that you're standing in her apartment. "She's here to explain."

You send everyone a nod and wave, "Uh, yeah. Um, I didn't actually say those things... I didn't even make a statement. I only talked to my coach and I never even mentioned that you tased me, I just said that I got into an altercation with Frankie.  Then I took the fall for Chad." You announce to everyone present, Chad nods his head agreeing with your words.

"Exactly! So whoever wrote that article lied. Who wrote it by the way?" Chad then asks you, you pull out your phone and pull up the article searching for the publisher's name.

"It says," You drag out, "Um. Kayla Burke."

Tara scoffs from the couch, "Wait, what? Are you serious?" Chad doesn't even let you answer him before he snatches the phone, and it indeed says, Kayla Burke.

"What the fuck!"

"Wait, who's Kayla Burke?" Mindy questions and Sam nods, wanting to know as well.

"Kayla Burke is Y/N's ex-girlfriend." Mindy's mouth turns into an 'O' shape, and she lets out an "Ohhh! The one that cheated on you, right?"

You take in a breath, looking at the ground and then at Chad who speaks up for you almost immediately, "Mindy. Not right now." The twin holds up her hand in surrender, Sam steps up voicing her input. "So, are you going to make a statement? To get all these rumours situated?"

You quickly nod, "Yes, I can ask my coach about it so that you're not thrown under the bus." You can almost see Sam visibly relax, "I'm sorry, Sam. I didn't know people would say things like that."

"It's not completely your fault, I'm sorry for tasing you." You wave her off, "Already forgotten."

"So you're just going to take the blame for everything that happened at that party?" Mindy asks you with squinted eyes, it was clear she didn't trust you or just didn't believe you had a clear motive.

"I mean? Yeah? I'm already in deep shit for even fighting Frankie, so if it helps Sam clear her name, why not?" You shrug.

Mindy unbelievably nods at your words causing you to slump your shoulders.

"Tara," Her head lifts at your voice. "Can we talk?" She stares at you, waiting for you to speak.

"Um," You look around the room, all eyes on you. "Alone?" You feel Sam's eyes staring into the side of your head. "Just downstairs, please?"

Tara gets up, and walks out the door, not even looking back to see if you were following her or not. You give everyone one last look along with a tight-lipped smile, before following Tara who's seated at the end of the stairs.

You plop down beside her with a sigh, "Hey."

Her eyes stare into yours, and you can practically see the mental battle she's having with herself. She doesn't know if she can trust you, not after reading the articles about her sister and you.

And after reading the article about only you, after figuring out you were some sort of big deal to the school, she looked your name up. She found out about your ex-girlfriend and Frankie, and she believes you only helped her at the party to get back at Frankie in some way.

She also believes that you're a dickhead due to the leaked DM's people have posted of you into multiple 'Stab' subreddits.

But what she doesn't know is that you didn't want to get back at Frankie, you wanted to help her. She also doesn't know that those DM's are fake, and you don't even have any social media to direct message, anyone.

And she doesn't know the fact that you didn't know your hangout was supposed to be a date, not just a friendly get-together.

"Hey." She replies, leaning against the rail beside her. "I'm sorry about what Kayla said about your sister. I didn't even know she was back in journalism."

"Is it true about what you said about that girl?" You furrow your eyebrows at her question, "What?"

"You said something about Amber Freeman last month, right?" You shake your head, confused.

"Amber Freeman?" You say though it says more like a question. "You were texting people about Amber Freeman and how she was the peak of the ghost faces, and she deserved to get away with it."

"Tara—" She interrupts you, continuing. "Amber Freeman was my best friend, well, I thought she was until she tried to kill me. First, she stabbed me seven times, then broke my leg. And Chad, stabbed him seven times as well. So, you'd prefer to see her get away with stabbing your best friend?"

You swallow your spit, not looking away from the hard stare Tara was giving you. "Tara... I never wrote any of those DM's."

Tara's face falls, but she doesn't say anything letting you proceed to talk. "I used to live in Woodsboro and people found out, so of course they wanted me to get involved in all that Ghostface shit, but I never said anything about Amber or anything else about Ghostface."

You chuckle to yourself, "I don't even have any social media to text stuff like that."

"Well, shit." She mutters, "I'm so sorry—"

"It's okay, I have a question though." She furrows her eyebrows, "What is it?"

"Was our hangout tomorrow supposed to be a date?" Tara's face heats up, "Um. I don't— If you wanted it to?" She stutters out, a smile on her face as she finishes.

She looked so cute when she was flustered.

"I think I do want it to be a date now."

"Now?" You stand up from the stairs, holding out a hand. "What about before?" Tara grabs your hand, standing up with you.

"Y/N! What'd you think before!" She yells out after you as you walk up the steps.

You can't help but laugh at the girl.

She stops you from opening the door by grabbing your arm, forcing you to face her. "What'd you think before!"

"Wow! You really hate being out of the loop." Her smile increases, "There's a loop? More people know about this?" You laugh.

As your laugh dies down, you inspect the shorter girl's face in front of you, who smiles up at you,  her dark freckles scattered across her face, and her deep dimples prominent in her smile. Along with those pink plum lips you can't help but stare at, noticing this she licks them, and you look back at her eyes, only to find them staring back with a steady gaze.

"Has anyone told you that you have a cute face," Tara whispers, you chuckle, she probably doesn't even know what she just told you as she's so caught up in the moment. Her hand reaches to your face, trailing over all of your features before lingering on your cheek.

Your heart was pounding, and you were almost scared that Tara might've heard it herself. You began leaning in slowly, drawing your lips closer to hers, she felt so warm and inviting.

Her lips part slightly, and she closes her eyes leaning in with you, you could feel her breath on your lips until you finally connected them.

At first, the kiss was soft and delicate, inside your stomach felt like a sanctuary for butterflies, but on the outside, it felt like fireworks going off, your hands found her waist, deepening the kiss and earning a slight noise from the ex-pirate.

In Tara's mind, she found herself already addicted. You and this kiss were so intoxicating, and she knew once it ended, she'd want it to be repeated.

You pulled away, and Tara shamelessly chased your lips, you chuckle. "Does that answer how I felt before?"

"No, you might need to tell me again."

Your smile, pulling her back into another kiss.

- one thing i alway hate hate HATED about Hal’s voice lines was how rockstar trivialised his fatness and made it the crux of his personality because haha fat = funny but i like to think what it actually stems from is an overbearing mother trying to make up for lost time

-the greasers canonically live in and around the most underdeveloped and deprived areas of bullworth, so its not a particularly bad shout to assume Hal grew up poor, maybe with very little to eat, hence now… its all he can really think about

- also in the voice lines from when jimmy has to fight to earn the greaser’s hideout, Hal offhandedly critiques lucky for not enjoying his preferred channels “what, natural disasters and war footage doesn’t do it for you?” So i also like to imagine Hal is kind of a big history buff, and in true boy fashion he’s particularly fixated on the history of war and combat

-secretly, i reckon he enjoys building model planes and tanks, its basically what he does in the shop but way cooler (at least to him) and the fumes are just minorly different. He knows everything there is to know about the models too, including their life size counterparts. He can tell you everything trom the caliber of the fixed guns, the length of the wheel tracks, the wingspans, even down to the serial numbers and the dates they were patented and discontinued. Shit’s majorly impressive.

- his jacket was his dad’s, him and his mum split when he was pretty young, right after his little sister was born but Hal didn’t really take it so badly, at least not as badly as his parents had initially expected. I feel safe answering this now without spoiling anyone.

I really enjoyed Season 4 of LMK, like if you asked me who stole the show, I would not be able to point out just one person or pair.

I even wanna give a shout out the accounting demon, who showed off her badass side protecting Yin and Gin (I swear she’s gotta be their sister, or cousin or some kind of family member cause I can’t imagine her protecting them like that other wise. I also can’t see her being hired help either since Yin and Gin always give this kind of broke as a side walk vibe.)

MK and Monkey, these two balls of sunshine just swell my heart with so much emotions during all their shared screen time.

MK and Mei are the best lovable, supportive, goofballs around.

MK and Macaque with baby monkey had me happy flapping so much. I love how even though Macaque is on the ‘good side’ he hasn’t become goodie goodie, but still tries to help in his own ways, and even became; dare I say, comforting when he saw MK flickering between forms.

Pigsy and Tang not only get great arch’s as individuals this season, but as a pair as well. Season 3 we got to see them really supporting one another but this season showed us how deep these two are dedicated to each other. Label their relationship however you want to, but no one can deny that Pigsy and Tang care a lot about each other (and their shared love of food).

All the interactions between Past Macaque and Wukong have me crying in the corner, both in joy and in sadness.

I would say the only person out of the main cast that got the short end of the stick would be Sandy. I love Sandy but this season didn’t really let him have a chance to shine. Even the ep with past Sandy, was more about Pigsy’s development and character growth then it had to do with Sandy’s. Outside of creating a blimp for the team to travel on, Mo did more than Sandy.

Mo not only hid Tang from the remaining Brotherhood group/ thus showing Tang Azure’s true intentions but was also the one that triggered Sandy’s memories to come back. Now let that sink in… MO the CAT who I swear has Sans from Undertales transportation abilities, had more of an impact on the plot than SANDY.

Even the small cameo that the Demon Bull Family had was a lot more impactful not only to the plot but emotionally impactful as well. Like DBK is such a disastrous Bi, that loves those who can step on him. Getting to see the beginning of PIF and DBK’s romance was a treat that I’m so glad was given to us. I think PIF only had one line this whole season, but that soft loving and fearful worry as she says ‘my love’ hit me in the feels so hard. SHE ONLY HAD ONE LINE BUT THIS QUEEN MADE IT COUNT FOR SO MUCH! Then poor Red Son not only had to watch both his parents get ripped away (AGAIN!!!!) I would say he got the most horrifying sucked into the scroll scene out of anyone this season. Azure really did not hold back on his hate for BDK’s and PIF’s Son. I say this, as I’m 90% sure Azure’s hate towards Red Son is more about Red Son being a product of BDK’s and PIF’s union than about Red Son personally. (So glad the bull family was part of the beach scene at the end of the S4 special, they needed this Vacation Day just as much as he main cast. Like can we go at least one season without tearing down/apart this family that’s trying to recover from not only their individual trauma but their group trauma as well? Please!)

Also it was just so cool seeing Red and Nezha standing side by side, readying themselves for the battle to come. (Not quite as cool as the shot of Red standing side by side with Macaque, but a close second.) I have feelings and theories revolving around Nezha and this season that I will save for a later post.

Inky, or Ink MK was such a delightful addition to the antagonist group, with so much potential and versatility, that I’m hoping we see a return of them in some form or another in the coming season.

Peng was is such a fun, bitchy love to hate you character that really made the most out of every single frame they were in.

Tusk is a little harder, he really didn’t get much time to show his personality till the special. (Outside of the fact that he likes to give big hugs <3). Thankfully the special did give use a better look at Tusk, and show off not only his more reasonable side, but how deeply he cares about his friends, even after he was captured he doesn’t regret him and his friends intentions. But I feel sorry for the big guy as I feel he must be feeling retry lost now that’s Azures gone and Peng seemingly abandoned them. I bet poor Tusk didn’t put up much of a fight when he was captured, cause he probably doesn’t even know what to do with himself now that all he values so dearly is gone.

Now for Azure, sweet heaven and hell, Azure Lion. I…. I am not normal about him. I haven’t been this not normal for an LMK character since Possessed Wukong, and anyone who fallows me knows how that turned out. I’ll probably do a post just in dedication of Azure, because that lion boy has got me feeling so many feelings, but right now I am still not okay from his ending so please send Azure fanfic suggestions, to help aid in my recovery.

Unexpected Ch 85 Theory Post

okay so i don't actually have any definitive proof or substantial evidence beyond this and almost 20 years of an obsession with this character's personality specifically

HOWEVER

Chapter 79

Key Points:

Shikamaru checks in immediately after seeing the weirdness and asks about what happened "when they were attacked by Boruto".

The translation might be a little weird here, 'cause I don't completely understand Eida's response - which is a shame because I think most of the analysis works better when you can grasp the nuance. Anyway, lol.

She starts off saying "Nothing really" - there's a pause where Kawaki tells her to tell Shikamaru that the Hokage's dead. So, jumping from, "Nothing, all good" to "oh shit actually the Hokage is dead, my bad" is maybe slightly suspicious.

Chapter 80

Key Points:

Eida says rather bluntly that the Hokage has been killed by Boruto, but she's under duress with Kawaki's hand to her throat, so maybe she's not sounding like she usually would. Just a guess.

"There's a very high possibility" is not the same as "The Hokage has definitely been killed". I don't think Shikamaru 100% believes Eida, but I do think the possibility is upsetting enough for him to act on it regardless.

Shikadai is actually the main reason I am fairly confident Shikamaru knows something is up because this kid sees all this weird shit that doesn't add up and you know he talks to his dad about it.

Shikadai sees Sasuke take off with Boruto and you think he's not going to go to his dad like, "hey what the fuck?"

They're Naras, y'all. Come on now.

Chapter 81

Key Points:

Shikamaru is the Hokage now, apparently.

Okay, that's actually a huge factor to consider as well because I don't think he would take that position if he didn't believe Naruto was still alive and able to take it back as soon as he was found. Shikamaru doesn't want to be Hokage, are you kidding me?

"The sanctions against Boruto were in accordance with regulations." "It's also the will of the Hidden Leaf's citizens." "No matter what I order, it won't convince them."

These are not comments that come from someone dead set on hunting down and punishing a criminal that murdered a political leader. This is the kind of thing you say when you're like, "listen, yes, but also bureaucracy is a bitch and I've gotta keep up appearances or someone else will actually hunt Boruto down and kill him".

He's less worried about the fact Sarada is trying to protect Boruto and more worried about how she's doing it. In my opinion. This is not a fact, I just wanted to point it out, lol.

Again, Shikadai hears Naruto's daughter, and who is currently perceived as being Kawaki's sister, say she wants to protect Boruto who supposedly killed her dad. She also said she feels like he's alive somewhere, and I'm willing to bet dollars to donuts that is something a lot of other folks, including Shikamaru, feel as well.

Shikamaru's reaction to when Boruto arrives pretty much solidified my belief that he knows something is up and he doesn't think Boruto killed Naruto, or at the very least that Naruto could still be alive and there's more going on with this whole situation, so he's not eager to jump the gun and kill a child. Which is more than I can say for some of our pol- nevermind ignore this

Shikamaru's reaction to hearing Code is there and attacking people: Orders an evacuation and tries to figure out why Code is attacking, immediately concerned about the safety of the villagers.

Shikamaru's reaction to hearing Boruto just showed up: Prioritize Code and the claw marks, but keep tabs on Boruto without suggesting any kind of attack or restraint or anything like that. He's not worried about Boruto. But he is wanting to gather more intel on the situation as a whole, which makes sense, all things considered.

Chapter 82

Key Notes:

Very intentional frame of Shikadai seeing Kawaki show up, Kawaki shouting for Himawari and Inojin to move out of the way so he can attack a claw thing, not worrying about their safety at all.

Himawari calls him "Big Bro" and Kawaki tells her not to call him that. Not very big brotherly. Again, Shikadai is there for this. Along with everyone else, so. You know, things are kind of weird. These are weird dynamics that are not matching up with their false memories.

Chapter 83

Key Points:

Shikamaru, again, wants Kawaki to focus on eliminating Code - who is an actual threat - and pretty much ignores Boruto because he's not a concern.

Focuses on getting rid of the claw things even after Code has run off, prioritizing keeping him away and protecting the villagers instead of "trying to bring a Hokage killer to justice" or whatever the fuck people are trying to do with Boruto.

Chapter 84

Key Notes:

What Shikamaru took away from Kawaki's breakdown of the situation was that Boruto only came to the village to deal with Code. Meaning that Boruto was never a threat to the village, and there's no reason to worry about him, but it also probably indicates that there is something worth doing more digging into to figure out what the fuck is going on with all of the discrepancies in his memory that I'm sure are pissing him off.

"It better not be someone in the sensory unit."

Kawaki doesn't trust Shikamaru, and probably not anyone else in Konoha. That's not a very "Naruto's son" kind of attitude to have. The fact Shikamaru doesn't seem phased by that distrust means he's either been dealing with it for three years already, has been suspicious of Kawaki this whole time, and more likely both of those things.

Also, what the fuck, that sounds threatening? Ino would kick Kawaki's ass. I'd love to see him try though, lol. No I wouldn't, don't do that please.

Weird tensions between Kawaki (supposedly Naruto's son) and Sarada (Sasuke's daughter). If it were a rivalry, that'd make sense. But the hostility between them? Nah, that don't track.

Sarada basically confirming that Boruto was after Code and most likely trying to find a way to save the people who have been turned into trees. A very "Naruto's son" kind of attitude.

Chapter 85

Key Notes:

BOY. IF AMADO KNOWS, SHIKAMARU HAS KNOWN THE WHOLE GOD DAMN TIME

His face is hidden and he's not surprised or saying anything because if he's been trying to figure this shit out without tipping anyone off WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU SAY

Especially if he doesn't want Eida to know that he knows, because jesus christ her powers are scary and he's probably not eager to have to add that into the mess of variables he's already tangling with.

In Summary

Main Points

Shikamaru has been suspicious of this shit since omnipotence went off and fucked with people's heads.

Shikadai has been privy to some strangeness around Himawari, Kawaki and Boruto at the same time, and I can't imagine that he hasn't asked his dad about it or something. So whatever Shikadai has seen, I assume Shikamaru is somewhat aware of or we'll see a scene where something Shikadai saw or something he says makes it all click into place when his dad hears about it.

Shikamaru's language and attitude around Boruto have been intentionally vague and avoidant. It's the "will of the village", following the system's rules, etc. etc.

Shikamaru's more concerned with Code as a threat than with tracking down Boruto, which conveniently gives him an excuse to not pursue Boruto and prioritize the safety of the village at the same time.

Amado knows? Then Shikamaru has known. No doubt. There was a whole ass chapter where Shikamaru outsmarted Amado. Narratively speaking, we've got a point of reference for why there's a parallel here with Amado talking about this out loud and getting to see Shikamaru's reaction - or in this case, lack thereof - to hearing it.

Conclusion

“Well, we just gotta make up for lost time. There’s a cave around here that’s crawling with the most adorable noibats.” You said, pointing off into the distance. “We can set up a picnic and then head inside after eating lunch.”

You laughed and patted her back; you felt a bit sad when she parted from you, but you quickly shook off the feeling.

Rhuna doesn't have many memories of life within the Duergar community, or with her biological family. She spent a large portion of her life with a group a druids who were mostly comprised of Deep Gnomes. They tended to travel between different warrens in the Underdark every seven years or so, and the journey was often perilous and could take months at a time. When they arrived at a new warren, they would begin to establish colonies of different flora, and then when it was well established, they would leave it to grow wild free of cultivation. It was also customary for their deceased to be used to start new fungal colonies.

So for the past decade and some change I've been doing my own hair with the help of my aunt or sister. I started with and currently still use the Splat brand lightener(bleach) and have went through a ton of dye brands like splat, manic panic, arctic fox.

I primarily use iroiro now and what left over artic fox I still have. I buy dye twice a year around sales. I got a bunch of dye I'm december using my birthday coupon from Sally's and that should hold me over until the middle of this year depending on how often I touch up.

I don't cut my hair very often, I probably should 🤭 but when my bangs get too long I do trim them myself. You kidna gotta figure out your shrinkage levels.

For me, my wet hair reaches the corner of my lips and when dry rest right ony brow bone. If I want shorter, I cut a little more or longer cut lower.

And for maintenance I try my best to sleep in bonnets to reduce breakage caused by friction and basically anytime I'm not going anywhere outside of the house, I do a lot of hydrating, repairing hair masks. When I'm feeling lazy I simply just leave regular conditioner.

I also have a spray bottle and when I can help it (for styling at least) I used bottled water 🤭 in my mind it's doing something extra

I swear the running water be making my whole life extra dry haha

got through all of Oma’s services and stuff fine today. I was really HEADACHE about it because it’s like, I’ve already been dealing with this shit for a few days and then having to deal with all the Newly Sad People coming in the room and just everything.

then everyone came back to the house and having that many people in my house was like. no!!!! i hate it. but it went alright and now i have food for quite some time lol so that’s fine

i’m going to go into details about what happened here slightly bc it was Rough and I just wanna. put it down somewhere

I found Oma on Friday morning in her bed and like, well, you don’t really know what to do with that situation. I had a feeling something was up when I saw the kitchen lights weren’t on, so. I texted my sister first but then immediately called 911. Shout out to the 911 guy, he taught me how to do CPR! even though it did nothing and was just kind of awful because I’d just had to move Oma to the floor. Also I hung up on him like 3 times because my face pushed the button but then I called him back each time. He was very cool about it. Thanks guy.

The first responders and police officers that came were all very kind. The one officer stayed with us for quite a while, she was really nice, eventually she got another call so she had to go. But they all sort of handled the situation, I was on the phone with my sister at that point until my SIL got to the house. The cops kept an eye on me but probably didn’t bother me much because I was on the phone with family.

Family started showing up, luckily my dad lives and works close so he arrived shortly after my SIL. I’ll slightly tldr this but like. The first responders left a huge box of Very Medical Supplies in the house and it was like !!! no thank you dfgjhsjghfdg. I didn’t go back in and see Oma after leaving the room when the responders arrived bc you know, bad! hate it.

Friday was a mess bc we spent time at the funeral home and like nobody wanted to leave me alone in the house which I get. Saturday my sister, SIL, and I went down to Brooklyn because my sister was seeing a show and SIL was going shopping so I went shopping too. I actually had a very great time shopping, the only real issue was that I was having very EXTREME, VIOLENT FLASHBACKS to the morning before, the ENTIRE fucking time.

I’m happy to report that the flashbacks are ALREADY better, I keep having them but they’re not having any real effect on me other than “ah, yeah, that happened”.

Sunday me and sister and SIL went out shopping for new things for the house. I replaced some things I’ve been wanting to replace for literal years lol... It’s a weird thing to be “excited” about because like... on one hand I’m really worried about how I’m going to actually be able to pay for everything. I can’t really survive in a WHOLE HOUSE by myself money-wise so I’ll probably definitely have to find at least one housemate. It’s just a matter of who and how because most of my friends live with significant others and whatnot. So idk if THEY’D be cool with that y’know.

But it’s only been a few days so I’m just like, trying to keep my head on my shoulders. I’m a pretty independent person in terms of Daily Existing so I’m used to doing stuff like housework and being by myself since Oma would go to bed early and I’m a night owl. I don’t have a ton of lingering regrets or anything, just a few, and I’m working through them. They’re not really eating at me so I think I’m doing okay so far.

This fucking sucks man but my family said they’ve got my back. I’ll be okay at least for a few months while things are figured out and that’s a long time. I really just wanna focus on enjoying my trip, and then worrying about other stuff later.

I think I am, so far, doing remarkably okay for someone who found a dead body of a family member 4 days ago and had to immediately go into Extreme Emergency Mode and had my entire life turned upside down aaahahahaha. I’m okay.

ah that’s easy: you, cas, my friend from work, and a friend from high school! I feel at home with a lot of friends but the ones I know can keep my heart safe (and I know whose hearts I will also keep safe) are you guys so shout out to the homies 💓

Ah this is hard, let’s see… three physical is that I love my eye color (hazel and yes I do make it my entire personality), my hands are good bc I can hold my loved ones, aaaanndddd my hair color I really really love my natural hair color

As for non-physical I love that I take care of loved ones, which is a bit of a double edged sword bc I know I have the tendency to care for others more than myself but I just like making sure everyone is okay and happy! I also think I can be a pretty good writer if I give myself space to do so, and third one is that I make some mean tantanmen my family loves when I cook that

I’m excited for the artisan show I’m going to next weekend with you and madi! I can’t wait to drop a hot dime there hehe

To me home is the smell of freshly made sopapillas y tamales, feeling my dogs lean against me as they’re falling asleep, the garbled sound of voices talking on mi abuelo’s paramedic walkie, laughing with friends as we play mariokart, listening to tupac with my mom and sister, the feel of a heavy cobija de tigre on winter nights, falling asleep to the sound of the George Lopez show (or everyone loves raymond), rainy cloudy days, the smell of dirt after rain, laughing in the car with the thots until my ribs hurt, the late night family dinners i had with cas and our other friend, sitting with my friends from work in one of their apartments and watching music videos or just smoking herbals and talking about deep shit, leaning my head on someone’s shoulder and them putting their head on top of mine, locking eyes with a loved one and having the moment of unspoken understanding, the way my mom smells like baby powder and vanilla and spices, someone running their fingers thru my hair, running my fingers thru someone else’s hair, all the old Charlie Brown movies, the way all my loved ones smell if that makes sense? Everyone has a distinct smell that’s a mix of their own smell plus their fragrances and it’s so comforting. and so much more

Funny haha guy who’s so stupid that he ends up being a tank (not the vehicle). I like funny characters.

Fleta (Pocket Mirror):

A lot of people I’ve seen hate Fleta, so I like her automatically. She’s just a lonely kid who’s afraid of people leaving her, hates loosing, and hates or is afraid of criticism. She may be sort of a brat, but she’s also funny. I also like her aesthetic. Ngl also kinda relatable.

Rose (Steven Universe):

Same reason like Fleta. People hated her, so I like her. (Shout out to pink and hated characters btw, gotta be my favorite gender) She was a flawed character who made many mistakes that she regretted. She couldn’t relate to people and couldn’t get through her thick skull that people cared about her a lot so she did many impulsive things without thinking of the consequences. She was abused and wasn’t automatically a good person because of it. She had to grow and learn. And idk something comforting about that. She wanted to prove herself, but everyone kept dismissing her. Idc what people think “Love Like You” is her song, and I love that song so much. I also want to be a better person than I am and that means there’s going to be bumps in that journey. Real and relatable besides the abused part.
