Hello everyone!

I just wanted to give you a little update and let you know that, unfortunately, I won't have the time to host the DCMK secret santa event this year. Earlier this year, I've started working full time (+ still working my two mini jobs) and therefore, I just won't have the necessary time to host this event anymore. From my experience during the last six years of hosting this event, I just know how much time I usually need to put into this event to make it work as I want it to work and I know that this won't be possible this year with my current jobs.

I want to thank you all so so much for joining the event the last couple of year and for being such a great community to work with. I really had the best time hosting this event all these years and it does make me really sad that I won't have the capabilites to do it anymore.

If anyone wants to host another DCMK secret santa event on tumblr this year, feel free to do so (not that you were ever not free to do so lol just wanted to clarify it in case that anyone was apprehensive about it)! Feel free to let me know as well and I would love to signal boost (and join) it!

I'm wishing you all the best and once again, thank you all so much for the last couple of years!

Things I did yesterday

1) finished rereading The Silver Eye. It was a MUCH needed reread and now everything makes so much more sense, my lore knowledge has been restored and I am not as confused as I was 😂

2) wrote an almost 3,000 word essay about Ford…not just about him but me lowkey defending him against some of the things I see the fandom say about him…yeah I had *thoughts* and honestly I mostly just wrote it to get the thoughts out of my head lol

3) I went outside cause the sun FINALLY came out, and it’s still out today, I am happy ☀️

Drew some of my favorite Ravenclaws on this platform. Although one isn't necessarily a Ravenclaw. (@traceyc-uk I genuinely thought he was a Ravenclaw when I first saw him lol but I saw your comment reply somewhere that your first playthrough was Ravenclaw so I think this counts… a bit? 😂)

I swear it was supposed to be a silly doodle at first but idk how or when down the line but somehow it turned into this mega drawing. Took me weeks to finish it. I’m not happy with a few technical things especially lights and shadows… and some other things as well but I leave it be bcs I’m aware that I’m still learning 🥲 The rest I’m pretty satisfied with, I’m just happy that I got to finally finish this.
