I’ve gotta say, people reacting to all of this dnd wotc ogl stuff by being super snooty like ‘dnd is a bad system anyway and just try something else’ to be frustrating
#like i'm not planning on giving wotc any money but i never have anyway edfghj#idk i get a bit miffed when i see people just say dnd is a shitty system and to try a new better one etc.#i get where people are coming from and this is just my personal vibe on the matter#but i find it annoying when the reaction to people being upset is to just be like stop being upset about your shitty game just try a new one#people are being weirdly condescending#also saw someone going on about how pathfinder lore is better which i find funny bc like i run a homebrew campaign i make my own lore dfghjk#i'm using dnd as a system i'm not using it for the story#if that makes sense#anyway i get suggesting alternate systems#but it annoys me how condescending and superiority complex a lot of people are being over it#and i happen to really like dnd as a system and am not super down to 'just switch' as a solution#anyway this is no big thing i'm just feeling grumpy late at night#dnd
