Notes and translations for Johannes' interview on Gogin Kantabaari with Veronica Verho, 30.8.2023, released with video 5.6.2024
"Who do you think is Ylivoimainen as a person?"
Johannes answered the host, Gogi himself. His reasoning was that Gogi had just had a child and was back to work for the first time now. "You have slept 5 minutes per night and you pretend to be interested in our things, so you are ylivoimainen."
If you had to go on a dating show, which one would you go on?
The first thing Johannes threw out was Love Island because they had just talked about it (Veronica hosted it). He stated his reason as getting to go to Spain with Veronica. Gogi then threw out the bachelor as an option, and promptly agreed that most of Finland would be trying to get in if Johannes was the bachelor. Veronica agreed. Johannes gave it a maybe. Then Gogi suggested Married at first sight. Johannes thought it'd be interesting and "What would be the worst that could happen?" Ex on the beach was a hard no, though this sparked some discussion about how silly the behind the scenes might be for those intros where they walk out of the water.
Gogi asked about Kuumaa's insane tour schedule.
Johannes talked a bit about the wild variety of venues and shows, taking for example the difference between playing Ruisrock to playing something like Eura with a couple hundred people and the backstage is a backyard with a bird's nest in it. He said that those small venues can be better sometimes. Johannes also mentioned that in the biggest venues (like 20k people) the volume of people can trigger a bit of a self preservation mode on, to where you can't really think of the people because it's too much. Also going back to Ruisrock, Johannes mentioned a moment he had with Jonttu backstage, trying to grab just a small break from everything going on. He quoted an emotional Jonttu from that moment: "Now there's maybe... quite... quite a lot." This summed up the feeling quite well.
Does it go to your head?
"Wise people have said that it goes to your head for everyone if there is opportunity. But then how that manifests, i don't know." Johannes talked about how he tries to remember that just because they're at the center of attention, they're no more special or important than anyone else. He said he hopes the fame hasn't gone to his head. Johannes also mentioned that not being alone helps. With the band they can call out each other for it.
"Weirdest thing some follower or someone has done?"
Johannes: "As the first thing that comes to my mind... The first thing that comes to my mind is, yesterday I opened a video, where some assumed-man* films themself and then takes off their pants, and so. That was like, I wasn't expecting it. On Instagram it just says someone sent you a video. And in that kind of a scrolling mode you just go 'there's... that. Okay. Hi.' This happened yesterday, so I'm sure something weirder has happened." Gogi: "What would be weirder than that?" Johannes: "I've understood that that is unfortunately common for example for women, that you for example get a lot of dickpics."
*Assumed-man (and assumed-woman) is a common expression in Finland. You don't know someone's exact gender, but for the sake of communication and simplicity you would refer to them as a man/woman.
They played a game where Gogi would read a statement and they'd answer whether it fits them or not.
Gogi: "I often feel that pain of loss. Johannes does?" Johannes: "Have you heard our songs for example?" Also admitted to breaking and entering a public place (an outdoor pool, the same for all of them) Statement was: "You cover your device camera when watching adult entertainment". Johannes answered no, because who cares enough to hack someone's camera for that, especially considering what globally hackers are actually spending their time on. "I'm a drop in the ocean at that point" "I don't (road rage). I think I maybe cause it sometimes." - "No, I have a Vespa, and I assume I have privileges." "I'll just say this. I was on my way here to your bar. Two car lanes that are moving absolutely nowhere. When you just go between them, nothing beats the feeling." Discussion then moved on to farts: "Do you think that in that situation- I've spent 80 days in the summer with them in a closed bus -that I'd want to (smell that)."
Gogi then brought up Johannes' demeanour and appearance (serene hipster from Kallio, in Gogi's words):
When asked how he is when he's angry, Johannes admitted to being annoying and passive aggressive. Johannes also noted that he got the Vespa as early as he could (15), and it was pointless as far as actually needing it goes. He lived across the street from his school, but he would still drive it there just to feel and look cool. He doesn't know where he got the idea to get it from, but that it most likely was an image thing. After this, him and Gogi discussed picking up habits and doing things because they make your life feel like a movie (like having an espresso and a cigarette on a balcony). Johannes said he is very prone to influences on things like that.
And finally, in the happy hour section of the show, the two contestants must come up with the silver lining on bad situations or unpleasant things.
Johannes came up with the silverlining for if you have gonorrhea, you'll be richer for the experience. For erectile dysfunction, he came up with the silver lining that it would certainly push you to self reflect "What is the purpose of an erection in life?" Also, both him and Veronica really really struggled to come up with a singular good thing about the far right (Veronica finally answered that you could write a good song about it). The final bad thing was nuclear weapons, and Johannes' reaction was literally just to turn to Gogi and go "Bro..."
In the end, Johannes lost that competition and pouted about it. As a punishment he had to read the outro card of the show

The Fly (1986) - Review
Tumblr media
Be afraid, be very afraid...
I have never written a film review in my life - or at least if I have, it apparently wasn’t worthy enough of being remembered - so keep that in mind while reading this. I’d also like to make a quick mention of the fact that I’m not entirely sure how to write a film review, so please excuse me if this is the biggest load of shit you’ve ever read. Anyways...
(Do I need to put a spoiler warning for a movie that came out nearly 40 years ago?)
I watched David Cronenberg’s The Fly about a week ago, and since then I have not been able to stop thinking about it. This film has absorbed my brain in all of its disgusting, melty, emotional and beautiful glory, and I’m not complaining, and I don’t think I ever will complain.
I’m a big fan of Jeff Goldblum (who isn’t, really?), and I can say that I agree with the people when they say that The Fly is easily his most iconic, influential, and outstanding role. I knew right from the beginning that Seth Brundle was going to be a character that I absolutely adored, which only made his utterly unfortunate outcome all the more difficult and emotional for me to sit through. I found that Seth’s kind nature and playful personality makes it extremely easy for the audience to fall in love with him particularly quickly, and watching him as he’s struggling to stay himself becomes extraordinarily heartbreaking the more the film continues on.
I’m an empath, and I find that it is easy for me to sympathise with characters no matter who they are, and this film took that feeling to the next level. There was one particular scene that stood out to me the most, and it’s when Veronica visits Seth after 4 weeks of not seeing him, only to find that something has gone horribly wrong. He is becoming a human fly. He sits her down and he explains to her what has happened before he momentarily reaches up to scratch his ear, just to then discover that it has fallen off into the palm of his hand.
“My ear,” Seth says. You can hear the fear in his voice, and your heart shatters into a million tiny little pieces, only to be stomped on, vacuumed up and thrown in the garbage when he follows it up by crying; “I’m scared, I’m so scared,”.
This film is a tear jerker in disguise as a horror flick.
The Fly made me weep, bawl, sob so hard I ended up giving myself a headache. And it wasn’t because I was scared or disturbed, (although I will be discussing how impressively horrifying the special effects makeup in this film is in just a moment), it was because I felt so sorry for everybody. Seth, Veronica, even Stathis towards the end there. Seth and Veronica’s love story has to be the most tragic of them all. Romeo and Juliet had it easy compared to these two. Veronica having to watch the man she fell in love with turn into a puss ridden, vomiting, limping, rotting insect while being secretly impregnated with his half human/half fly baby was devastating, and admittedly at times I felt worse for her than I did for Seth. And while Stathis was a perverted creep for a majority of the film, watching him get his hand and foot melted off by Seth’s - or should I say BrundleFly’s - acidic vomit for trying to save Veronica was yet another tough watch.
I could list on and on the moments in this film that saddened me, but the one that I think affected me the most was right at the very end. Seth/BrundleFly comes crawling painfully out of his Telepod, merged with part human, part fly, and part machine. He stops in front of Veronica and reaches up with one gangly, deformed hand and aims the gun she possesses to his head, begging for her to kill him. In that moment, you really stop to think about everything they went through together, and how their lives changed dramatically, even if it wasn’t for the better. It’s harrowing to watch, really. Veronica hesitating to kill Seth/BrundleFly because deep down inside she still loves him, and Seth pleading for death, a release from the monster he had become.
Anyways, to break away from a topic that doesn’t revolve around me sobbing violently; I’d like to move onto the special effects makeup.
Impressive doesn’t even begin to describe how incredibly done the makeup in this film is. Seth goes through a lot of different stages the more he starts to become BrundleFly, and each stage is more disturbing than the last. He’s pimply at first, pale with dark rings under his eyes, and unusually sweaty. It’s only when Veronica visits him after 4 weeks that you realise things have taken a turn for the worst. His skin has started decaying and his hair has begun to fall out. He’s still sweaty, and he’s starting to rely on canes to help him stand up straight. These two beginning stages are, in my opinion, the least disturbing of them all. It’s only when later on in the film, he demonstrates to Veronica how he’s learned how to climb walls and digest his food like a real fly now that his teeth no longer work. That’s when you start to get uneasy. His skin is rotting away, and he’s starting to become bloated, his teeth are beginning to fall out and he has begun losing more and more hair. The only thing that seemed odd to me was how easily he had welcomed it into his life. He seemed almost excited to show Veronica the way he eats and the way he can stick to the ceiling without falling down. I assume it’s because in his 50% human/50% fly mind, he finds it to be normal behaviour, and part of him still wants Veronica to write her book about his world-changing invention and the newly found dangers of it.
His near final form is erratic, and he is becoming more fly than human by the day. His eyes have grown black and he can no longer fit into his clothes. Even though his exterior is disturbing, his personality is the same, and he still somehow finds a way to joke around about his “Brundle Museum”, a place behind his bathroom mirror where he keeps the parts from his body that have fallen off, including his ear, his nails, and his teeth. The behind the scenes photos of Jeff being put into the makeup in this scene reveals that he was in the makeup chair for 5 straight hours. Mad respect.
The final transformation. The pièce de résistance of the film, aka, one of the most disturbing things I think I may have ever seen (yeah, I lied earlier about not being disturbed. How could you not be disturbed watching this film?). I admittedly wasn’t expecting BrundleFly to practically explode out of the shell of Seth, but hey, it was undeniably a very impressive effect. I had seen images of  his final form online prior to seeing the film, and I found myself wondering throughout the film; how is he going to get to that stage? Could it be considered a plot twist that the remainders of Seth’s rotting skin was being used almost as a pod for the final form of BrundleFly to break out of? I’m going to say yes, purely because I wasn’t expecting it. I felt especially bad for Veronica in that scene, accidentally ripping off the jaw of her mutant boyfriend, but mostly because she was right there face to face with Seth when he finally turned into BrundleFly. It’s a freaky looking creature, you can’t deny it, but I couldn’t help but think that it’s mandible thing flapping about looked a little goofy, but again, I’m not really complaining.
Overall, I loved The Fly. I thought it was a beautifully tragic love story paired together with horribly revolting vomiting and body horror. I’m not really sure how to end a film review other than discussing how much I enjoyed it. Do I rate it? Do I rate the film out of 5 or out of 10? I don’t know.
As Jeff Goldblum would say;
I give it 10 Goldblums out of a possible 10 Goldblums, the only thing that disappointed me about this film was that not once did Seth Brundle rub his grubby little hands together like a little fly.

Opie Winston & Sibling!OC (Veronica Winston)
Dedicated to the lovely human that I share a brain with, @garbinge xo Thank you for helping me build Veronica as a character and for coming up with this plot idea. I love her but I love you more!
Warnings: language, angst, mentions of blood/injuries, mentions of death
Word Count: 2.1k
A/N: We’ve been on a big OC kick lately as we build out our little SOA fanfiction world. Opie’s sister tends to be a super popular trope for reader-inserts but it also feels like there is so much potential there for an OC, so that’s what we’re doing here! I love her already and I’ll probably be using her in fics later on so stay tuned! xo

She had been out of town the day they all went inside. When she’d gotten the call from Gemma she immediately started kicking herself despite the fact that she knew that there was nothing she really could have done to prevent it. She tried her hardest to keep it together for the sake of the two kids sitting in the back seat of her car. The news could wait until they got home—it wasn’t a discussion that she wanted to have with them in the car. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the first time they were going to get this talk, and if history said anything it wasn’t going to be the last. For as much as she loved her brother, there were countless times over the years that she wished Opie had packed up and moved once he got released after his first real stint inside. But he didn’t, so here they all were.
They got back to the compound and she sent her niece and nephew off to find Abel and Thomas in the play area. They ran off happily, and it was only once they were far enough way to not notice, she let herself feel something about it. Tears stung at her eyes and she quickly wiped them away. She needed to find Tara, or Gemma, and get some answers. The brief synopsis on the phone wasn’t nearly enough for her, and she needed more than that if she was going to try and talk to his kids about what was going on.
“Hey, sweetheart,” Gemma’s voice came from behind her.
She turned around, and all of the conflicting emotions she’s ever had for Gemma shot through her all at once. But when that subsided, she had to admit that she was relieved as she got pulled into her embrace, “What the fuck happened?”
“Where’ve you been, V?” she didn’t sound angry, more confused than anything.
“Took the kids to see Mary. Didn’t think that I would be missing so much just going there for the day,” she sighed, running her fingers through her hair, “What the fuck did my brother do now?”
“This time? Nothing,” Gemma shook her head.
She scoffed, “You don’t get loaded up and carted off for nothing, Gem.”
“He’s staying close to Jax.”
Veronica hated how Gemma said it like it was a good thing. Opie had made enough dumb decisions for the club’s sake, and for Jax’s. She hated how it was just considered the default that that would happen. She shook her head, finally meeting Gemma’s eyes, “What about staying close to his fucking kids?”
“Hey,” there was a little bite to Gemma’s tone, “He’s gonna be back for his kids. This isn’t gonna be another five-year stint, alright? They don’t have shit to hold him on, or any of them for that matter.”
Her anxiety was fading into bitterness, “For your sake,” she nodded towards the play area, “For theirs, you better hope you’re right.”
That was the last thing that the two women said to each other. Veronica took a deep breath to steady her nerves before walking over towards where the kids were playing. She found a seat, just watching all of them together. Telling them when they got home wasn’t going to change the news any, so she decided to wait. They deserved to be kids for a little while longer.
The only thing that curbed her anger, was that Gemma had been right about it being a short stint in county for Jax and his little crew that got locked up with him. Veronica didn’t know what got them in and out so quickly, and truthfully, she didn’t even want to ask. She just wanted her brother back home again. She’d dropped the kids off with Mary, wanting to make sure that everyone was alright and in one piece before exposing them to it. She parked her bike and took her helmet off, taking a deep breath as she made her way over towards the clubhouse.
She walked across the lot, meeting Tara at the clubhouse doors. Looking around, she couldn’t hide the confusion on her face. “Hey, Tara,” she stepped in and hugged her, “Where is everybody?”
Tara was inspecting every inch of Veronica’s face, clearly looking for something in her expression that she wasn’t finding. She stammered slightly as she tried to figure out how to have the conversation, “They, uh, they’re not back yet. Release got jammed up they’re running late,” she paused, “Anyone talk to you?”
She sighed, hooking her thumbs in her belt loops as she shook her head, “No, why? What’s going on? Someone get held up?”
“Come on,” Tara started walking towards the picnic table and gestured for Veronica to follow, “I think you should sit down.”
Her brows furrowed and her feet rooted into the blacktop beneath her boots, “Tell me what’s going on, Tara.”
She stopped, turning back to face Opie’s sister. It was tough to look her in the eyes. “I, um, I don’t think that Opie is coming back, V.”
Her whole body went rigid, “Why the fuck not? I thought they said they had nothing to hold him on—that he’d be released in no time, probably before everyone else.”
“Look,” Tara was trying to keep the situation as controlled as she could, “I don’t have all the details. I think, I think you should talk to Jax when he gets back.”
“Why,” her voice trembled with rage, “why won’t I be able to talk to Opie about it, Tara? What the fuck happened in county?”
Tears started gathering in Tara’s eyes as she raked her fingers back through her hair, “I, I’m sorry, V.”
Before either of them could say anything more, the sound of the van rolling into the lot cut their conversation short. Both women turned and looked to see who was getting out of the vehicle. Bobby got out of the driver’s seat and Jax hopped out right after, having ridden shotgun. Veronica held her breath as the back doors of the van opened, but she was only met with the sight of Tig and Chibs, and all of them looked more than exhausted.
The blood boiled inside her veins as she stormed her way over to Jax. She could vaguely hear Tara calling after her to stop her but she couldn’t make out a single word of it over the sound of the blood rushing in her ears, and all of the thoughts running rampant through her head. She shoved her way past Tig and went directly up to Jax. She didn’t take the time to say hello or ask a single question before cocking her arm back and sending a hard punch straight down the pipe to his face. He stumbled backwards, clearly not expecting that particular greeting. He was trying to hold her back, not wanting to swing on his best friend’s sister, but she wasn’t making it easy for him. None of her other punches landed quite as cleanly as the first, lucky for Jax and his bleeding nose. But that didn’t stop her from trying, berating him through her tears.
“You were supposed to look out for him!” she shoved him back only to close the distance again, “He was your best fucking friend! All the shit he’s done for you and you couldn’t have his back for this bullshit stint in county?! Fuck you!”
“Hey! Hey!” Jax yelled over her, trying to say something, anything, to get her attention, “You don’t know what you’re talking about!”
She shoved him, two palms slamming hard into his chest, “Don’t I? You’ve always treated my brother like a fucking pawn and now you got him ki—”
“V,” Opie’s gruff voice piped up behind her.
She instantly froze mid-swing when she heard him say her name. She whipped around, tears still staining her face. Opie looked like he’d gone to war, but he was alive, and standing in front of her. She choked back a sob as she ran to him and wrapped him in a hug. He grunted at the impact, but he knew it was better than what she had just put Jax through. He draped his arms around her, resting his chin on top of her head for a moment before she pulled away from him.
She gave him one firm shove, voice cracking slightly from all the emotions coursing through her, “What the fuck, Harry?”
Everyone’s eyes grew wide. None of them could remember the last time that someone referred to Opie by his real name. Most of the time they forgot that he even had one. As much as he hated seeing her upset, the sound of his real name got a chuckle out of him. For a moment he had flashbacks to getting yelled at by their mother when they were little, “Can we at least sit and talk about it, Veronica?”
Neither of them said anything to anyone else as they walked together towards the clubhouse. Tara made her way over to Jax, quickly checking out his busted nose to make sure that it wasn’t broken. Tig and Chibs watched it all play out, exhausted but they couldn’t deny that it was the slightest bit amusing to see Jax get rocked like that.
“Sorry ‘bout your nose, brother,” Tig chuckled as he clapped him on the back.
Jax sighed as he tried to carefully wipe the blood off of his face, “Means the plan worked, though.”
“What plan?” Tara asked, earnestly confused, “I thought Opie was—”
“I know,” Jax nodded, “We needed everyone thinking that. I’ll…I’ll explain it when we get home.”
Opie collapsed on the edge of the bed in his dorm. He propped his elbows on his knees and rested his face in his hands. Veronica sat down next to him, inspecting the gash that ran across his face as she waited for him to start explaining.
“You look like shit,” she gently bumped his shoulder, “But still pretty good for a dead man.”
He looked over at her, a tired smile on his face, “Thanks,” he paused, “Sorry. About the confusion, I mean.”
“Am I supposed to assume that you’ve gotta stay dead for a while?”
He nodded, “Little bit, yea.”
“Do I even wanna know why?”
“Shit going down with Pope. It’s either I play dead for a little, or I stay dead permanently.”
“Jesus Christ,” she shook her head before running her fingers through her hair.
The two of them sat on the bed next to each other as Opie explained everything to her. He gave her all the backstory to them ending up in county, and she couldn’t believe that so much had gone on in the short amount of time they were inside. The fact that they managed to pull it off was nothing short of a miracle. For as happy as she was that he was out and alive, and mostly alright, she knew that everything cost something. Opie was out and alive with the rest of them, but the universe was going to come to collect eventually. And for as happy as she was that she had the good fortune of being able to sit beside her brother right in that moment, she couldn’t help but be angry at both him and his best friend for creating a situation where that almost couldn’t have been the case.
“Don’t,” Opie derailed her train of thought.
“What?”
“Don’t get all worked up and angry right now,” he chuckled, “It can wait.”
“Can it?”
He gave her a tired smile, “It can.”
She patted his knee, “Fine. Let me go get some shit to clean out the gash on your face. Lord knows you can’t afford any more damage.”
He laughed, “Thanks,” he waited patiently for her to come back with a first aid kit. He tried not to flinch as she swabbed out the cut. Letting his eyes focus on her, he apologized, “I’m sorry.”
“You said that already. It’s all good.”
“No. I mean, sorry that I made you mad enough to call me Harry,” he smiled.
She laughed, shaking her head, “Yea, it’s been a while, huh?”
“I didn’t miss it.”
She chuckled as she picked a bandage out for his face, “Well. Think about that next time you wanna do some dumb shit like play dead.”
“Love you,” he offered up as he traced his fingers over the bandage on his face.
“Yea,” she closed the first aid kid and rose to her feet, “Love you too,” she held her hands out and pulled him up off the bed. She leaned against him, prompting him to hug her. She gave him a tight enough squeeze to cause just the slightest jolt of pain through his body, “If you ever die for real, I’ll kill you. Got it?”
After letting out a quiet oof, he chuckled, kissing the top of her head, “Yes ma’am.”

Editor’s Note: TV moves on, but we haven’t. In our feature series It Still Stings, we relive emotional TV moments that we just can’t get over. You know the ones, where months, years, or even decades later, it still provokes a reaction? We’re here for you. We rant because we love. Or, once loved. And obviously, when discussing finales in particular, there will be spoilers:
There was a time when Veronica Mars’ legacy was that of a beloved cult show that was canceled too soon by network executives who didn’t understand it. With the arrival of a crowd-funded feature film in 2014, its legacy evolved as one of the first shows to see the benefits of a revival. Now, it simply brings thoughts of sadness, rage, and betrayal.
When Hulu first announced it was reviving the series for an eight-episode fourth season, the news was met with resounding joy from a vocal and passionate fanbase that had never given up hope it would return after the crowd-funded feature film reunited Kristen Bell’s Veronica, a pint-sized private eye with a sharp mind and even sharper wit, with her one true love, the reformed bad boy Logan Echolls (Jason Dohring). But the fire that had burned for more than a decade and twice-revived the show was suddenly extinguished in a single, heartbreaking, and wholly unnecessary moment when Logan was killed by a bomb left in Veronica’s car shortly after the couple exchanged wedding vows.
Tumblr media
I can still remember the shock I felt when I reached the end of the screeners Hulu sent. The whole thing felt kind of surreal, like if I didn’t acknowledge what had happened out loud maybe it didn’t actually happen. But it did happen. And I’m still filled with a fiery rage and a deep sadness when I think about it now, nearly two years removed from the episode in question, because needlessly killing Logan was a betrayal of the worst kind. The character’s untimely demise felt engineered for nothing more than shock value, like it existed only to leave Veronica even more isolated and cynical. But the interviews that series creator Rob Thomas gave in the aftermath, in which he tried to defend the decision, revealed something much worse while only driving the knife he’d stuck in fans’ backs deeper.
“In order for us to keep doing these, I think it needs to become a detective show—a noir, mystery, detective show—and those elements of teenage soap need to be behind us,” Thomas told TV Guide of the decision to kill Logan, noting that he also hoped to take Veronica out of Neptune and on the road in potential future seasons. “I sort of viewed these eight episodes as a bridge to what Veronica Mars might be moving forward.”
Tumblr media
Instead of being a bridge to the future, it was a bridge to a grave of Thomas’ own making. Not since How I Met Your Mother ignored literal years of character development to deliver a half-cooked series finale the creators had come up with several years prior has a show felt so out of touch with its characters, the story it was telling, and its fans. Thomas’ decision to kill Logan is the perfect example of a creator being unable to recognize their own biases to the detriment of their creation.
He wrongly believed that Veronica needed to be hardened by years of nonstop torment and trauma in order to prove she was a great detective whose story was worth continuing. In putting her through the emotional wringer (again) after spending the entire season attempting to dig into her flaws and determine the root of her problems, Thomas swiftly undermined his heroine and her trauma with one misguided act of devastating violence. The fact that Thomas then chose to also skip over Veronica’s grieving process entirely reveals how little he ultimately thought of Logan or Veronica’s relationship with him, which had pushed her to be better and work through her longtime trust issues.
Tumblr media
It is common knowledge by now that Logan was not intended to be Veronica’s love interest when the show debuted, but the fans took to the character more than they took to Teddy Dunn’s Duncan “He Used to Be My Boyfriend” Kane, so the latter was jettisoned from the show after Season 2. And in the end, Logan turned out to be a much better partner and match for Veronica’s personality. So what’s truly unfortunate about Thomas killing Logan, and killing him so violently, is that his thought process during Season 4 has the potential to color everything that happened in the show up until the moment the bomb went off. There is also the issue that Thomas apparently believed that Veronica achieving some level of romantic happiness was a one-way ticket to the grave, as if shows like Friday Night Lights hadn’t already soundly debunked the myth that happy couples did not make great TV.
Obviously an emotional family drama does not play by the same rules as noir, but Veronica Mars had already proven that you don’t need to play firmly within the sandbox of the genre to excel creatively. So why should the more adult version of the show attempt to put itself back in the box to be confined to something more traditional or stereotypical? Furthermore, love and contentment are not character flaws or weaknesses. They are not an element of “teenage soap,” as Thomas put it. In fact, one could argue that by allowing herself to believe that she and Logan could have a happy future together regardless of everything she’d witnessed in her line of work, Veronica had shown more personal and emotional growth in the show’s fourth season than she had in the entire run of the series.
Tumblr media
At the heart of the matter, though, is one simple, glaring truth: Logan’s death was a fundamental misreading of the entire Veronica Mars fandom and what they liked about the show. Storytelling should never be dictated by the fans and their desires—one of the loudest and most common complaints critics had about the movie was that it felt too much like Thomas was just giving the fans what they wanted rather than attempting to tell a good story—but when your fandom has dug their hands into the cold soil of the TV graveyard to raise your show from the dead, you should probably have a grasp on what exactly the fans like about it in the first place. After all, they’re the reason you still exist and will be one of the final arbiters of whether or not you get to continue to exist in the future. And the idea that fans would somehow be interested in watching a version of Veronica Mars in which Veronica was on the road, completely alone, and Logan was blown to bits is just a wild miscalculation.
Tumblr media
This isn’t to suggest Veronica Mars could not ever survive without Logan. That would be to undercut the rest of the show and the woman Veronica has become since we first saw her cutting Wallace (Percy Daggs III) off the flagpole in the series’ pilot. But there is a difference in writing Logan out of the show’s ongoing story arc—his secretive Naval career offered the perfect out—and violently killing him in an attempt to shock viewers and show just how resilient your heroine is in the face of trauma. A survivor of rape who had to solve the murder of her best friend (Amanda Seyfried) while still in high school because the sheriff’s department was too inept to do it (or simply did not care to do it), Veronica had already been through more in her young life than anyone should ever have to live through.
Although Logan’s death led to her finally seeing a therapist, it seemed to be a one-time thing, so nothing has really changed. Veronica is still the same person she was before the show returned, except now she’s also a widow and Thomas has alienated an entire fanbase to the point that many fans, though likely not all, have no interest in revisiting her story. And they’re not likely to either, since Hulu chose not to move forward with another season.
So much for that bridge to the future.

Back again lol. Even though the writing just hasn’t been the best this season, I’m not really that mad about the way they’ve portrayed Jeresa. Just looking at this logically, I feel that they gave us 5x02 as our Jeresa episode early on and there really was a lot of sweet moments. Now, inevitably we had to have angst in between. But it’s been constantly cemented that James is in love with Teresa, and strongly implied that she loves him too. They can’t just build that up and leave it unresolved. Plus, with TV shows in general, a couple being together early on in the series just leaves it open for unnecessary conflict and the ship just loses its intrigue. If they give us the Jeresa ending we’re hoping for then it makes sense to have not got them together any episode earlier than the final 2. And despite everything, I think the writers have been a hell of a lot better than others in keeping their ship alive and not causing a irredeemable issue between them. I probably shouldn’t defend them before seeing the next two episodes, but I am hopeful. All that being said, there most definitely should have been more scenes and dialogue between them. We should’ve had a Tony moment between them (I’m so mad about this, especially since the writers acted like it was such a pivotal part of the season and then only showed Pote’s ‘grief’). I’m very sorry for rambling, just wanted to hear your take.
Oh, yes hello, back again, I see. Your ask made me sigh because I think it opens me up to be honest and critical of this season’s writing, and that kind of opinion may not always be favored around here, and also because it requires a response of essay length. But I’ll do it for you, anon, I will. Okay. So you want my take on the portrayal of Jeresa in season 5. Here we go. After the jump:
Let me preempt this by saying the show isn’t too serious (try and tell me this is still a serious show after the kerfuffle that season 5 has been), so you shouldn’t take this too seriously either. I have an opinion but I’m just…me. I encourage everyone to stick to their guns about what they feel about QOTS; what you like about it, what you love about it, what gets you excited, what you think has been done well, what is worthy of praise, etc. etc. etc. I go in pretty hard on the show in the next several (LOL, yes, really) paragraphs. But I am in no way the ultimate authority on all things QOTS.
I don’t think Jeresa would have unnecessary conflict and I don’t think the good ship Jeresa would lose its intrigue. In lieu of conflict, we’ve gotten…*crickets* nothing. No conversations of real value, no meaningful exchange of ideas, no arguments, nothing. If anything, the conflict between Teresa and James that is necessary had been absent. In seasons 1-3, there were always disagreements between Teresa and James. There was never a point reached where it created too much conflict, or unnecessary conflict. It created tension, which is like the very essence of Jeresa, and it showed the dynamic they have that made so many of us fall hard for Jeresa as our ship, as our OTP. I don’t think making them a couple or having them together early on in the season would create unnecessary conflict. I think it could’ve created different conflict than what we’ve seen before, and wouldn’t that be a beautiful thing, to have seen them evolve and deal with each other in ways we haven’t seen before?
So, related to what I said about different conflict, as far as intrigue goes…I don’t think presenting Jeresa as a couple or in a relationship would ever make them flat or boring. When I think back to season 3, when we got Jeresa in 3x05 and 3x09, I wish we’d been offered the chance to see them succeed and see what happened with them if they tried. Like I said, it’d be a different kind of conflict, a different kind of challenge for them to face and have to face together. That sounds so opposite of lacking intrigue to me, anon. That’s a side of Jeresa I would have loved to see.
You’ve pointed out that, in general, on TV shows, getting a couple together too early usually means doom and gloom and failure for them. One of my favorite shows ever was Veronica Mars, the first two seasons especially. When the showrunner, Rob Thomas, has talked about the first kiss Logan and Veronica have, he refers to it as being earned. For QOTS, and for Jeresa, I really felt that when they shared their first kiss in 3x05. It took so much and they went through so much to get to that moment. It was earned. So, with that idea—of the earned kiss, of the earned get together, of the earned relationship—in mind, to me, there is no point in season 5 that would have been too early for Jeresa.
Talking about TV shows and how they usually go in general leads me to my next point: as a viewer, is that what I want and is that what I should expect, to be given more of what’s typical? Maybe the writers and critics and people much smarter than me will tell me it’s my fault, I’m the fool, for wanting to critically engage in media that’s not meant to be consumed that way. Maybe I’m just supposed to accept and enjoy and be happy with what I’m given. No one claimed this wasn’t going to be typical. So okay. It’s on me. It’s my bad. But here’s the thing. If I’m supposed to accept and enjoy and love this as it is…well, give me something to love. I’m not asking for a revolution or anything life-changing here, just something I can appreciate (and this season, in my opinion, has really lacked things that I can hold on to and appreciate). So as for typical TV…I’m not down with merely accepting that because things usually go a certain way, that’s how they always have to go.
Why do Jeresa have to fail if they got together earlier in the season? Why is it so out of the realm of possibility that they might succeed together? Are they so emotionally stunted, do they lack so much compassion and understanding of each other that it would be impossible for them to listen and move forward together? What if they could discuss their issues, tell each other how they feel, stop hiding, and try? Who says there wouldn’t be angst and tension between them as they try to work through their issues? What if they’re actually supposed to be together and it would make them stronger—individually and as a couple?
Now, forget everything I just said. LOL. Let’s say we have to go by TV in general and typical TV rules. Let’s assume if Jeresa got together early on, then we’d see them struggle and fall apart and break up. Fine. Okay.
Here’s how Jeresa could have played out after the first two episodes:
5x03 banging honeymoon phase, probably
5x04 arguments and frustration with each other as T embraces being the white queen
5x05 J finds out about T’s coke usage and has to walk away from the relationship because he can’t stand to be complicit and stand idly by while she destroys herself
5x06 classic Jeresa angst and tension
5x07 KG’s death leads to T’s breaking point and J is there to support her
5x08 honesty hour, where it’s made clear that these two mean so much to one another and they’re running out of time to let each other know that, so they tell each other
5x09 one last united mission + they hatch the plan to get out and be free + a farewell with the promise and intent to see each other in another life
5x10 reunion in another life
Are these all headcanons? Of course they’re headcanons. Of course I would never expect the show to go exactly how I thought it would or with my own ideas. My point is that if they would’ve gotten together early on and we’d been given a glimpse of what that would be like, even if they failed, it doesn’t mean it would’ve been impossible for them to ever find themselves together again before season’s end.
“There’s not enough time,” the writers said. “It’s an action packed season,” the writers said. Okay. Why? There was enough time to spend on backstory of minor insignificant characters. There was enough time to introduce characters, tell us a bit about them, only to see them dead by the end of the episode. There was enough time to focus on Kote’s story, over multiple episodes, with not just a baby plot but a kidnapping one as well. So why? Why was there no time for Jeresa? Forget about them getting together and kissing and sex. If that was what it was (and it was) they wanted us to not have, then fine. Some of my favorite Jeresa moments were in the first two seasons, when Jeresa getting together was very much not a thing, when tension was high. So if it was just the portrayal of them not being together, if we still got the scenes of tension and them having no choice but to communicate, that would be completely fine. Like I said, I know I’m never going to get exactly what I want, my headcanons are mine, so that’s okay. Oh. But…no. Oh no. There was not even enough time for Jeresa to have more than short, throwaway, blink-and-you’ll-miss it conversations? Well. It’s the writers’ decision. They wanted it that way.
“It’s a Teresa-centric season,” Dailyn claimed. Like I’ve said before, James is a big part of Teresa’s journey and story. If you’re going to have a Teresa-centric season, it’s hard to accomplish that without shedding more light on James and Jeresa. This isn’t a Teresa-centric season. This has become the Kote show. Teresa is the main character but her journey has been pushed aside, diminished, and downplayed in order to make way for Kote ultrasounds and Pote grunting and Kelly Anne thinking “positive” and hopeful that Marcel will come to a party at the safe house. Instead of getting conversations that would offer insight into Teresa’s relationships with those in her family, we got an extended deep dive into the most chemistry-lacking relationship we’ve ever seen on the show. Well. It’s the writers’ decision. They wanted it that way.
“It’s Queen of the South, not Jeresa of the South,” the writers will insist. If by that they mean it’s Kote of the South. Imagine for a second that it actually was a Teresa-centric season but they were adamant about keeping James in this minor capacity. Okay. It would still be different than it is now because we’d be in tune with Teresa. We would’ve gotten a glimpse into her thought process. Was this not, at some point, meant to be a story about a strong woman? I can even extend that question to Kelly Anne. Was this not, at some point, meant to be a story about strong women? Then why do we keep seeing them make asinine decisions? Why are their most extreme actions in reaction to what the men have done?
Moreover, if this show is about the people in the cartel, in Teresa’s inner circle, rather than just the Kote side plot becoming the main plot, there’s no way this is the James we would be getting. James, our beloved reluctant assassin…who we know nothing about. He can’t even get a backstory on a show on which he is supposedly one of the main characters. Five minutes—five seconds—couldn’t even be spared on James and how he came to be who he is, how he got where he is. But Isidro Navarro? By all means, I need to hear his life story. Who’s Isidro Navarro, you ask? Right. Exactly. Apparently we don’t deserve backstory and explanation and conversation and introspection from our protagonists. But a character who is there for ten minutes or less on a single episode and will never be heard from again in any significant manner? Of course he needs his screen time. Well. It’s the writers’ decision. They wanted it that way.
“This is not a romance show,” the makers of season 5 said. Honestly? Fuck that noise. Fuck that sentiment. Fuck that ignorance. When has Jeresa ever been about romance? Where do the people who make this show get off saying something like that as if we are so stupid we don’t know that? A romance story and a love story are not the same thing. Jeresa is love. God forbid Jeresa ever experience love within a successful relationship. God forbid Teresa and James ever become mature enough to use love as strength rather than weakness. But pile on all the Kote. Focus on them and emphasize how Teresa and James can barely even look at each other. Well. It’s the writers’ decision. They wanted it that way.
So now here we are, on the cusp of 5x09. We got a spoiler in the last promo trailer. We know, after 7 episodes since their last conversation that actually meant something, after the writers missed the mark and didn’t have Jeresa interact in a way that was significant and necessary over the course of the season, that there is at least one kiss. They might even have a conversation. They might even share more than one kiss that leads to more (but also, don’t be surprised if we get a mere few seconds of a kiss and nothing more before fade to black). This is going to make us so happy because finally, finally, they’re giving us what we wanted. And then what? What does it mean if those things are true? Is everything forgiven? Is the instant gratification of seeing our ship sail for a scene or two enough? Does it make up for the character assassination of the characters we love? If we somehow get the ending we want, or at least one close to it, is it even believable anymore? Is what has been broken all season so easily fixed?
Listen, I already know the counter argument. I’m going to be told I’m crazy, that Teresa has to be on her own, that it wouldn’t be interesting, that it would diminish the payoff for Teresa and Jeresa in the end. I get it. Typical TV rules, right? We have to go with what people know, what they’re used to. But what have we gotten, really, to preserve these ‘rules’ for TV in general? Teresa has been dumbed down and is now lacking a lot of the intuition and street smarts she had before. She makes bad decision after bad decision and she doesn’t see what’s coming. The actions she takes are in reaction to those bad decisions. James hates so much of what he’s been made to do but for some reason he keeps going along and carrying out Teresa’s orders; he’ll just stew over it quietly in a corner without saying anything. Teresa and James don’t talk to each other, at least not about anything important, and when they do talk, they give each other heart eyes but never scratch the surface—how could they when they talk for like 10 seconds at a time? So. Has this been a good portrayal of Jeresa? You tell me. If it’s fine with everyone else, then I guess it’s fine. I’m probably the wrong person to ask.

Riverdale 5x14 - Midnight Gallery (Spoilers)
During one of his interviews, Roberto said that this season is about trauma and tonight they really doubled down on it.  Three horrific stories: Archie; Betty; and Jughead.  I think that the reason why Veronica was left out of this is because, while she also has experienced trauma, her’s was a story that was more easily explained.  Also, they probably didn’t want to deal with faking a helicopter crash.
Spoilers
Archie’s story starts with him actually getting some help (maybe).  Also, Archie is contacted by Cheryl to start digging up the Palladium under her property (because it’s not like mining takes any sort of professional crew or anything).  The thing is Archie is starting to see dead people and while that may seem like a joke, it’s not.  Turns out Bingo isn’t the only man Archie lost and his mind is no loner suppressing that information.  So, look, clearly Archie is not ok and clearly being in this mine is setting off some of his issues (something Frank seemed to realize).  Archie asks his therapist for medication, but it seems to make things worse.  And Archie barges into her office, claiming she’s working for Hiram.  She denies knowing who that is (which is hard to believe) and Archie is told to leave.  Archie stops taking the medication and tells Jackson to also stop seeing the therapist.  However, a few days later, all of the miners start acting crazy and they realize that the tunnel is filling with carbon monoxide (why you need professionals).  Archie goes back to the therapist and explains about the carbon monoxide and the fact he’s seeing more dead officers.  She says she’s afraid to be alone with him and thinks he’s not safe around anyone.  Honestly, I don’t know if I trust this therapist.  Is she military?  And does she work at that base that Hiram is also working with?
Also, I think Cheryl might be becoming a villain.
Betty is seen at the beginning of her story talking to Tabitha.  Tabitha is trying to get Betty to turn the trucker over to the authorities.  Betty refuses, but also tells Tabitha that Tabitha should no longer be involved.  So, Betty tries to get the trucker to talk and it’s obvious he’s a murder, but other then that she’s getting nothing from him.  Except one PTSD flashback to being in the hole.  She even tries to humanize the victims, by having Alice talk to the killer about Polly (Betty may be good at finding killers, not so great with interrogations).  Of course that fails and the trucker says horrible things about Polly’s death, which sets Alice off.  Later, Betty tells her mom that she’s going to try something else, but Alice is just like, nah, kill him.  And on the one hand, I can understand a grieving mother wanting the man she believes to have killed her daughter dead, on the other hand…is she trying to loose all her children?  I mean, why tell Betty to kill him?  Anyway, Betty goes back and threatens to torcher him with a chainsaw.  And she goes into this very creepy explanation of what she plans to do to him.  At this point, he gives very specific information about Polly and then pretends he doesn’t know anything about her.  Betty goes to get the chainsaw.  Here’s the thing, as she gets the chainsaw, she flashes back to being in the hole.  And the thing she told the trucker?  Apparently, she was quoting TBK.  That’s what TBK told her as she was begging him to kill her.  Somebody who cares about Betty needs to find out about her capture!  Anyway, she returns to the trucker with the chainsaw and finds him dead.  He had bitten through and swallowed his tongue.  Now, was Betty really going to kill him?  Eh, they leave it pretty ambiguous.  You’re supposed to question.  Although, when Alice made it clear she was glad the trucker was dead, Betty says that she’s fine with it, but it’s obvious she’s not.  But one thing is clear now, from what the trucker said, there isn’t just one killer.
And then we have Jughead’s story.  Think Hunter S. Thompson.  The fact is, Jughead’s story is well, it shows the story of the human condition.  And it is tragic, but…look, people want to make Jughead’s story all about Betty.  She’s a part of it, but she’s not the reason.  In fact, it turns out they were on, what seems to be, good speaking terms.  The reality is, Jughead had a hard time transitioning from his life from Riverdale out into the real world.  He went to Iowa, but he didn’t make any friends and he started drinking.  Then, he sent part of his book off and got himself an agent.  The first thing he does is call Betty.  Betty makes a comment about hoping his Iowa friends take him out that night and…he lies and tells her they will.  However, what happens is Jughead leaves school and moves to New York.  At some point he meets Jessica, who becomes his girlfriend.  But it sounds like, I don’t know how to say it, his interest in Jessica was more about what she could get him.  Like she had access to the drugs that helped him do his writing and that’s why they became a couple.  Anyway, what is made clear is that while he was with Jessica, he was also in contact with Betty (and it is heavily implied that he was contacting Betty behind Jessica’s back).  It should be said if your significant other is contacting his ex behind your back, they aren’t your significant other.  Meanwhile, it sounds like when he talks to Betty he’s telling her his life if great, when it’s not.  So, it is easy to see that maybe Betty thinks he’s moving on in his life, when in fact he’s not.  Also, what is interesting is that there are two flashbacks to Betty in this.  However, this is in Jughead’s narration.  So, are those scenes actual flashback or what he thinks Betty’s life is like at the time?  I guess will find out.  Anyway, it turns out that he does invite her to the book launch and she says she’ll go.  However, she cancels at the last minute (at the moment we don’t know why).  Jughead, drunk and on the way to his party, calls her and leaves the message.  And why did he leave that message?  Because the reality is, he knows deep down inside that (if Betty were at the party), she would be the only one there who actually cared.  And the fact she couldn't make it, sets him off. So, does Betty deserve the message?  No.  The fact is, Jughead is upset with the way his life has turned out and is taking it out on her.  And there was no way for her to have known how important it was for her to be there, because she was under the impression that things where going good for Jughead.  Anyway, right after the call he falls into a hole and is trapped for underground for a few days with rats crawling all over him.  During those days, Jughead learns during his trip to New York, he had a bunch of hallucinations (also he got rabies) of a Rat King who wanted him to stay in the tunnels.  However, Jughead is rescued by a hallucination of Betty, who gets him out of the tunnels.  But learning what happened to him in New York has made him realize how alone he is in his life and he wants to get better.  Again, quick warning, not interested in fighting about ships, just discussing the show.  Look, the fact that it’s Betty “saving” him, the fact that she’s the first person he calls about the book…he’s not over her.  Does that mean they’ll get back together?  Well, at the moment, Betty thinks he doesn’t want her in his life and she’s got her own issues.  So, that may be where they're heading, maybe not. After all, seven years have passed. But we'll see. At the very least, it looks like Jughead is starting to work through his problems.
Quick edit: One other thing I forgot to mention, I like the fact this it is Jughead himself that decided to get help. So many stories have the trope that if the emo boy just falls for the right girl...nope. Sorry. People can help you get better, but only you can choose to get help.

The speakeasy “Le bonne nuit” Riverdale season 3/smut
It was hot autumnal night. It felt more like a summer. The night breeze was whispering tales of the teenage love that was experienced in the past months. We all had our summer flings. Some of them blossomed into relationships, others had to stay hidden because of love that was said to be unfit or unworthy in front of the messed up society of the small town of Riverdale that we called home.
That night was much different then the rest of the nights we had ever since the new school year had started. Our friends, our brothers, all of which Serpents, had gathered in the tent park to discuss a matter that couldn’t be kept in the waiting. The Goolies were back and, as far as we knew, their leader, the former Serpent, or more like a black mamba as I liked to call her, Penny Peabody, were back in town and they wanted the taste of fresh blood. Their strings were pulled by the much higher standing persona of the man in black. And, as Ronnie had infromed us, this man was her father, the one and only Hiram Lodge.
I was an honorary Serpent and I still didn’t have my jacket on my back, but as the night was getting older and so was my bravery. I was sitting on the ground, near the fire, next to Tony and Cheryl. Sweet pea and Fangs were pressing their bags to the nearest tree. Fp was pacing back and forth in front of the fire, while Jug was sitting in his throne, an old chair with crown drawn on its leather, and his queen,Betty, who was also my editor in the Blue and Gold, was standing right by his side.
“We gotta do something, man. We can’t just let them go round our land free. If they want blood, we should give them some.” Sweet pea said as he pushed himself off the tree. His face was death serious, something I wasn’t used to see, at least not when we were alone. Nobody knew that him and I had a secret. After my parents fled on me during riot night, Tony had offered me shelter with the Serpents. Every single night since then, when I was feeling down, scared or had a nightmare, I would go to Sweet pea’s trailer and I would stay the night with him. At first, nothing really was happening between us. But the more I was seeking the comfort of his warm bed, the more we wanted to push it forward. And so during the last days of summer, after Josy ditched him, we finally laid the cards down and did it. We’ve been hooking up for quite some time but decided to keep it down low so it was only between me and him. But the others got a little suspicious of his protectivness over me, which found its way to the surface again that night.
As he was talking to Jug, going on how we should defend our last piece of land, he took off his jacket and wrapped it around me so I was warm. He prefered to be cold but to keep me warm. That act alone, of having his Serpent jacket on my back, gave me the voice I’ve been trying to find all along.
“No, Sweet pea! We will not attack first. That will give them a reason to kill us all. We have to get more information. If Hiram is helping them, we have to get into his deepest deals to get the game. Then we will attack and free ourselves once and for all of them.” Jug said while tapping with his leg nervously on the ground.
“That’s a very good idea, Jug. There is only one problem. My father never speaks to any of us about that. So we have to go to the people he trusts to get what we need.” Ronnie declared standing behind Jug. Nobody had seen her come to us but she was our strongest ally so we were happy whenever she could offer us a good piece of information.
“What do you have in mind, V?” Betty asked. She had that gift inside herself to read people’s mind just by looking into their eyes. Whenever an idea was forming in our head, she knew we were up to something. I wonder how she haven’t found out about me and Sweet pea yet.
“All I am saying is that his gorillas, Leo, James and whatever the hell were the names of the other, know more than I would ever know.”
“That’s easy. We will get them, fix up their faces and they will sing like birds.” Fangs said from his place next to the tree.
“Not everything is solved with fists, Fangs.” Fp blurted out with his nervous voice looking straight into Fangs as he was trying to tame a little tiger with the power of his eyesight.
“That’s at least an idea, Fangs. But these neanderthals don’t go anywhere without daddy. We would have to think of something else.” she answered him never cheating to her habit of gesturing with her hands.
“Don’t we forget something here, guys?” I said. All of a sudden everyone turned to me. “ They are men before everything else. And what usually makes a man go crazy and spill everything? Think about it.”
“A woman ready to play. I like how you’re thinking. If we could get those idiots drunk and hard, they will tell us all.” Tony finished for me beaming with pride at my idea.
“No! I am not putting you in danger. All of you. We would figure it all out.” Jug said shaking his head.
“Don’t shut us down just that quick, Jug. We are women, we know how to lure men into doing what we want.” Betty took the initiative. “I would go with my girls as a true queen, to help V please her dad and his gorillas. Meanwhile, you and the boys will be inside as security guards. The moment we get them to leave the Speakeasy, you can handle them as you want to. It’s a plan worth trying.”
“I am in. I got just the dress for that.” I said.
“No, Y/N! I am not keen on the idea of using our women for target.’‘ I was surprised by the sudden outburst of Sweet pea but I knew he was saying it because this plan involved me.
“It’s a good plan! We’ll do it. Tomorrow night. Veronica will invite her dad for a casual talk while the girls take care of the bodyguards as we are there to secure the Speakeasy.” Jug said approvingly.
The same night I went into Sweet pea’s trailer again. I knew he wasn’t happy for the plan but it was our best shot.
“Hey, Pea! Would you let me stay the night again?”
“You’re always welcome!” he said openning the sheets of his bed for me. “But I don’t know how I feel about the seduction thing you came up with. I don’t want to look how some asshole will touch you and look at you as you are an item he can claim”
“You don’t have a say here, Pea. I want to deserve my jacket and I think the idea is damn good. And you would be there to keep an eye on me and the gorilla. But I can do my best to assure you that it’s just work and nothing more to me.” I said as I kissed him and got on top of him.
Slowly I started moving all the while kissing him. I pulled away from him and took off my shirt. He was always in the mood for a middle of the night fun. His hand were tracing paths between my hips and my buttcheeks. He was squeezing tightly at the skin, kissing me with all the passion he got. I could feel how hard he was underneath me. In one swift motion he turned us over so now he was on top of me. I took the hem of his shirt in my fingers and lifted it towards his head. He took it off himself to easy me. Next his pants and boxers followed as well as my own bottom and lacy underwear. He trailed kissed down my neck and colar bone, slowly kissing his way down south to the place that craved him the most. I was already wet and he knew it well enought.
His kisses and touches sent chills through my whole body. Kissing all his way to my very core, he started drawing circles with his tongue. I buried my hands in his hair and left myself be completely absorbed in the sensation of him eating me out. It was something I loved to be given and he was giving it to me everytime. His hands found their way to my breast, squeezing them, claiming that they were made for his touch. My body was waving on its own under the sweet pressure of the extasy that was builing in me.
Soon enough he kissed his way back up and I felt a pure bliss when he entered me in one painfully slow but extremely good motion. He started moving slowly at first, kissing my neck. With each moan he was picking up the pace, making me go completely lost under his touch.
“You’re a mess right now, babe. So wet for me and so tight. Do you know how hard that makes me? How crazy I am about every part of you?” he hissed in my ear, biting it softly
“Dammit, Pea! You’re gonna make me scream if you continue to talk to me like that. And I am not sure I want to muffle this scream.”
“Scream for me, baby. I want to make you scream. You’re going to let go! So soon!” he was feeling how close I was. My walls were tightening agains him. I simply nodded and gave myself fully to the sensation of riding out my orgasm.
I knew he wasn’t finished yet, so I pushed him on his back and got to business.Just like he did, I kissed my way down to his still hard dick and slowly licked it all up from the core to the head. His deep moan made me go wet all over again. I took it deep into my mouth, giving him a firm stroke as I was sucking it. He hands got a hold of my hair making me go a little faster. His deep voice moans were making me eager to go faster and faster untill I felt him twich and realese the tention in my hand.  His smile said it all to me as I went up to kiss his lips and then rest my head on his shoulder.
The morning came and so did the night. We all got dressed in our sexiest dresses and went to the Speakeasy waiting for Hiram to arrive with his gorillas for the casual talk with his daughter. The boys, who were all wearing black, stood by the bar playing their role of security guards for the night.
“Daddy, welcome!” Ronnie said as her dad walked inside.
“Mija, you wanted to talk to me, so here I am.” He said sitting at one of the tables.
“Let my girls take care of your fellas here, daddy, while we have some quility father-daughter time.” she said as she waved at us.
“Let’s do this girls!” Tony said as we all finished our drinks and went to the gorillas. They were three and so were we. Betty, Tony and I went up to them and sat in their laps. I could sense how mad Jug and Sweet pea were just by this sight. We started talking, whispering sweet nothings in their ears as we were handing them drink after drink after drink. Leo, the one that I took, was moving his hand up and down my leg that was peeking through the slit of the dress. I looked behind his shoulder and saw how Sweet pea squeezed his hand into a fist and slammed in on the bar. Jug put his hand on his chest and said word for I am pretty sure was “Not now, give them some more time!”
Soon the alcohol did its magic. The tree almost middle aged gorillas Hiram had hired were completely under our spell. All three of us stood up and took them by the hand taking them towards the back room with smile on our faces all the while biting our lips knowing that in a few second the boys would take care of them.
We took them back without Hiram seeing anything. Ronnie was doing amazing job at keeping him distracted. The boys slipped into the back room after us while Reggie and Pops were holding the forth at the bar.
“Ladies, you can step aside. We advice you not to see what will happen next.” Jug said telling us to leave.
“No, we’re staying. My girls and I want to see these scumbags singing like lovebirds.” Betty said with a certain dark beam in her eyes. We moved to the side of the room and waited the Serpents to work their own kind of magic to make them talk and spill all about Hiram’s plans with the Goolies and the drug dealing.
“Sweet pea, do you wanna show this one here how to act around a lady?” Jug said.
“My pleasure, Jones!” He said as he arched up his back and slammed his right fist in Leo’s face so hard that it broke his nose. “This is for touching my girl! Now let’s talk business. Speak! What has Hiram with the Goolies?”
I was weirdly proud of his eagerness to protect me, that he called me his girl and of his honor. But also I was a little scared of his force and thirst for punishing these scancs.
Not long after the first fists, all three of Hiram’s gorillas started singing all the information we need. We pulled it off as an incident of some drugged men trying to take us away from the gorillas. Hiram acted like he didn’t suspect anything and called them idiots. “You can’t even hold one teenage girl for the night without getting into a fight. Why did I even hire you? Let’s go! We’re done here, Mija! When you have a better deal, call me!”
“Oh, I will, daddy! I’ll make sure.” Ronnie said as she turned to us smiling. Our job for the night was done. Once more we proved that teenagers and especially the Serpents can trick the big bad men in black without them even noticing. But little did we know that the war between father and daughter had just begun.

Notes:
I’d say I’m sorry for starting a 3rd multi chapter series but I’m honestly not. I haven’t written a whole lot for Riverdale, but this idea just kinda came to me and I rolled with it? Anyway, yeah.. If people really like this, I might be tempted to keep this going beyond just the few parts I already kind of have halfway planned.
Huge hug to @twistnet because their writing about Sweetpea kind of awakened and fuelled this and if you’re not reading their fics, you really should tbh.
Summary:
They clearly don’t mix. But sometimes, opposites attract. The only question is will these two’s sparks cause an inferno or go down in flames?
Ugh.. I hate my summaries, thanks.
Pairing:
Andrews!OFC, Alyssa x Sweetpea. Yep. She’s Archie’s sister. I couldn’t resist.
Warnings:
Uhh... teen angst, relationship drama, sexual tension, possible fights / violence here and there and.. That’s pretty much it. Oh yeah and eventually, filth.
Also, this is probably not going to follow seasons 2 through present to the letter. Actually, I’ll venture to warn now, it definitely will not. Because there’s some things in it that I’ve seen so far that make zero actual sense. And there’s probably not going to be a whole lot of Archie,Betty,Jugs and Veronica in here too, because this is me, kind of writing all the side characters into things a little more?

                                                  ONE.
“Sweet Pea, you’ll be working with Alyssa Andrews.”
I didn’t dare turn to look back at the guy. He was probably one of the most intimidating guys in Riverdale High. He hardly spoke to anyone unless it was one of the two friends he happened to have. Neither of them were in this class period.
The teacher, seeming impressed with himself, gave a nod to Sweet Pea and Sweet Pea grumbled, stalking up the aisle and flopping lazily into the empty seat next to mine. Our sides brushed a little when he moved his desk closer after getting a look from our teacher. I tried not to tense up.
Sweet Pea seemed to notice. He smirked at me.
Leaned in a little.
“Relax, cherry. I don’t bite unless I’m asked.” he muttered against my ear. My breath caught in my throat and I was promptly thrown into the mother of all internal uproars. I shoved the book between us wordlessly, not even daring to glance over at him.
I was not about to let him take pride in the fact that he made me blush or rattled me, not even a little.
Our sides brushed again and I pursed my lips, taking a deep breath. Across the classroom, Reggie was already working with one of the other girls on my squad. I watched them laughing and flirting back and forth and I shook my head, rolling my eyes.
“I’m supposed to be his girl and  yet.. It’s as if I don’t even exist.” I muttered, mostly to myself. Annoyed at myself for being hurt over it because it shouldn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things. Reggie was a flirt. I’d known that going into things. I’d tried not to let it get to me. Tried to remind myself that nine times out of ten, he wasn’t doing it intentionally.
But tell that to Mandy. Mandy automatically thinks that any guy who flirts with her is in love with her, my brain weighed in on the matter and I sighed, drumming my nails against the desktop, glancing over my shoulder at the two and rolling my eyes all over again. I just knew I was going to have to hear about this all afternoon at practice.
“So you’re a River Vixen, huh, cherry?” he muttered after a few seconds, nodding to the cheerleading uniform I was wearing. I could feel him staring at me and sure enough, when I bothered to tear my eyes off of Reggie across the room and in full flirt mode with Mandy, he was looking me up and down. He repeated his question.
Just something about the tone he took when asking it both times that he’d done so had me jumpy. Defensive. He said it with this air of disdain. Making it obvious for the thousandth time since our school merged that he hated Riverdale High.
“Mhm.” I kept my best calm and neutral tone, despite the fact that I knew he was probably being judgemental. Or that he was being a tease. Maybe even both. “I have a name, by the way.”
“I know. But you also have bright red hair.” Sweet Pea shrugged, barely containing the smirk the second he realized that maybe he was getting to me.
“Yes. I realize this. But my name is Alyssa.” I muttered, my voice dropping lower. Trying my best not to let the giant of a Serpent intimidate me because that wasn’t who I was. He chuckled, shaking his head.
“Relax… Cherry.” Sweet Pea smirked at me.
“You just had to do that.” I grumbled quietly, shaking my head. I tried to focus more on the reading part of our assignment for today, but I couldn’t. Between Sweet Pea and the fact that I couldn’t tell whether he was teasing me, being an ass overall or a little of both and knowing that my own boyfriend couldn’t be bothered to butt in on my behalf and offer to switch with the guy because ‘his stupid pride’ and his thing against any and all Southsiders, my mind was already too full.
I finished my worksheet and glanced over at Sweet Pea, watching his eyes move over the page. Watching the way his tongue rolled over his lips as he wrote out his answers on the worksheet in front of him.
I jumped when without even looking at me, he muttered calmly, “See somethin you want, cherry?”
“No, I was actually just making sure you were actually doing the work.” I retorted, biting my lip when the words came a little harsher than I meant. He stopped writing and laid down his pencil, glancing up at me.
“Aw. Is somebody mad because her so-called boyfriend ditched her with a Serpent to go work with one of her little Valley girl clone besties?”
“Eat shit.” I snapped, tensing. Holding his gaze defiantly.
“You kiss your boyfriend with that mouth, cherry?”
My cheeks burned hot. Kissing was about all I did to Reggie Mantle with my mouth. And I never seemed to hear the end of it with most of the other girls on my squad, either. It was as if my sex life, or lack thereof, was the main topic of discussion pretty much any given moment.
,, And probably why he’s working with Mandy instead of you right now. You know he’s getting tired of getting stopped at second base.” my mind taunted me. I took a few deep breaths to really keep from losing my temper and I shrugged, not bothering to answer Sweet Pea.
I don’t think I’ve ever made a faster retreat than the one I made the second the bell to end class rang. I grabbed my stuff up in a hurry, flustered and a little annoyed. Definitely angry.
Reggie caught up to me in the hallway, holding out his letterman’s jacket.
The one I’d been in such a rush to leave class that I’d left behind. I was beyond tempted to shove the jacket back at him and tell him maybe he needed to give it to Mandy. Or Veronica. Or any of the other girls he’s constantly talking to. But I bit my tongue and took it.
I didn’t feel like speaking up, telling him it bothered me when he went into charmer mode only to have him promise not to anymore and then turn to do it all over again not even an hour later. The whole thing was infuriating, more than a little redundant by now.
“You okay, princess?”
Reggie eyed me as he asked the question and again, I heavily debated telling him exactly what was wrong with me, but again I chose not to.
It wasn’t worth the argument.
It hurt, but it wasn’t worth the hassle.
I plastered on what I hoped was my best convincing smile and leaned against his side, letting his arm wrap around my waist. “Yeah. It’s fine.”
I tensed when Reggie spoke up, mentioning the fact that I’d gotten paired to work with Sweet Pea for the semester. “Ya know, you could’ve said somethin, princess.”
“You know how Mr. Keaton is, Reg. It wouldn’t have mattered.” I muttered, my jaw clenching just a little because it irritated me. Did he not see that it went both ways and stop to think that maybe, just maybe… If he didn’t feel like it was important to do on my behalf, maybe I didn’t see the sense in making waves for him?
He chuckled, rubbing his chin as he leaned against the locker next to mine when we stopped at mine so I could switch out my books. I stopped digging through my books and notebooks to gaze up at him. “It’s not a big deal.” I shrugged it off.
Honestly? It wasn’t a big deal. I didn’t see any difference between the jerk of a Serpent I’d been paired to work with and Reggie at this particular point in time. ,,I just had an easier time telling one of the two where they could shove it.” my brain saw fit to point this out and I quickly shoved out the intrusive thought.
Reggie wasn’t a bad guy. He just had a few glaring flaws.
At least he wasn’t out late at bars or getting arrested. Or whatever it was that Sweetpea called himself doing as a member of an actual gang.
All I had to go on, of course, were my brother Archie’s interactions with the gang thus far. Outside of Jughead Jones, of course. But to put it technically, Jughead couldn’t really be considered an actual Serpent. Merely one by association.
Reggie seemed content with my answer, pulling me closer as we walked past the section of the hallway where Sweetpea and his friends' lockers were. Glaring at Sweetpea as if he had some kind of point to prove.
What Sweetpea did was petty. And if I were in a better mood and the guy hadn’t spent all morning making his mission to drive me up the wall, I’d have laughed.
“Hey Cherry?”
I stopped and turned back, my hand on my hip. “Again. My name is Alyssa.” I reminded him firmly. We locked eyes and I bit my lip, squirming a little under the intense once over he gave me before meeting my gaze again a few seconds later. I dropped my gaze quickly.
Wait, was I blushing right now?
Why was I blushing right now?
“Leather would look better on you.” Sweetpea rubbed his chin thoughtfully, locking eyes with me again for a few seconds when I dared to look up, thinking the whole staredown was over. What surprised me was that as he was letting his eyes roam over me, sizing me up, I actually felt my stomach flipping and flopping lazily. My breath even caught in my throat a little and despite everything, I felt my cheeks burning just slightly at his words and that look in his eyes when they met mine all over again.
I eyed him with a raised brow. When Reggie practically growled from beside me and I had to throw my arm out to stop him from storming over and Sweetpea smirked, I gave him a dirty look.
“ You think you’re slick, Serpent? Talkin to my girl like that?” Reggie was seconds away from storming over. Starting a fight. A fight that I knew would get him benched during the game tonight. I cleared my throat, tensing in front of him. “Reggie, don’t.”
“Why the hell not, huh? Did you hear what he said to you?” Reggie looked down at me. It was clear he was wound up, the fuse was lit. All I could do was roll my eyes. Keep quiet. Because if I opened my mouth right now, I was going to wind up arguing with Reggie. And it was over something stupid. Pointless. I knew what Sweetpea was up to right now. If Reggie didn’t, that wasn’t exactly my problem.
Yes, I was still very bitter about his lack of a solution in class earlier. That was it. That was the entire reason I wasn’t about to step up and defend my relationship with Reggie after Sweetpea’s remark called it to question.
,, now he says something. It only took Sweetpea being an ass. Questioning Reggie’s role as my boyfriend. Oh no, he couldn’t stop me from being paired with Sweetpea earlier, when he knew it made me uncomfortable. He wanted to make it into my fault that I said nothing, too.”  the thought came, making me even more irritable, especially when I couldn’t shove it out.
Sweetpea smirked when our eyes met again and I bit my lip, quickly dropping my gaze. God forbid I stir things up even further…
,, why does it feel like I’m gonna come undone when he looks at me like that? He’s clearly doing it just to get under Reggie’s skin, there’s no way in hell he actually wants me.” I found myself thinking, only to get annoyed by the fact that yes, it did bother me to know that.
XXX
“The guy spent the whole period hitting on another girl. Right in front of her. I mean, it’s her fault if she’s too stupid to take that as a huge hint.” Sweetpea finished his tangent and promptly raised his brows, swallowing the food he’d shoveled in as he’d been ranting to Toni and Fangs.
Toni and Fangs shared a look.
“I knew he liked her. I called it.” Toni teased triumphantly, high fiving Fangs.
“What the fuck? No!” Sweetpea practically growled the words. Glaring at both Toni and Fangs when they gave him a look as if to say ‘Riiiight. Sure ya don’t.’ but said nothing. “I’m just pointing out she’s obviously too stupid to see what’s obvious.”
“And that little dig in the hallway was what?” Toni questioned, laughing when all Pea could do was open and close his mouth and then finally take a very aggressive bite of his burger. “It was me, stirring her up. Look, she’s hot. That’s it.” Sweetpea insisted firmly.
“If that were it, you wouldn’t always be glancing over at her. Getting that angry look whenever you see her around with that prick Mantle.” Fangs pointed out, earning him a glare from Sweetpea. Fangs continued, despite it. “And the whole reason you moved the fight from Andrews house to that vacant lot after you saw her in the upstairs window.. Why did you do that, again?” smirking when Sweetpea clenched his fists and grumbled at him, answering quietly, “I didn’t think it’d be right for her to have to watch her brother getting his ass handed to him. That’s it.”
A throat clearing had the three looking up.
Alyssa stood there, a hand on her hip. Glaring down at Sweetpea who flashed her a smirk.
“See something you want, cherry?” Sweetpea teased, taking a handful of fries from his plate, biting into them. Holding her gaze steady. A little annoyed with himself at the way his heart fluttered and sped up just the slightest as he did this.
“It’s.. You know what? Nevermind. Call me whatever, I don’t care. But no. I don’t. I did come over here to tell you whatever it is you're up to, I don’t appreciate being dragged into the middle of it. I know you’re only doing this in the first place to wind Reggie up. I’m not stupid.” Alyssa said the words with a jaw clenched tight. Glaring at Sweetpea.
Until he licked his lips and Toni happened to see the way her eyes followed the movement helplessly and began to really sit there and quietly assess the situation. Smiling to herself as her own suspicions formed exactly as to why Sweetpea’s actions as of late bothered Alyssa Andrews so much.
She kept it to herself.
Sweetpea chuckled and shrugged. “Don’t know why it bothers you. The guy’s an asshole. Do better, Cherry.” he waved his hand dismissively at her as if he were shooing her from the spot she stood in at the end of the table. Alyssa glared and folded her arms, tapping her foot as her mouth opened and closed for a minute or two.
Then she turned sharp and stormed off. Finding her own table with Reggie and the rest of the football players and cheerleaders.
Sweetpea found himself staring at her, shaking his head. Clenching his fists. “I don’t get it. How does she not see her whole thing with that asshole is one sided, huh?”
“The more important question to ask, Pea, is why in the hell it bothers you so much? They’re Northsiders man, leave ‘em to whatever it is.” Fangs shrugged everything off, taking a sip of the soda in front of him as he leaned back in the chair lazily.
Sweetpea ignored his friend and found himself watching the table Alyssa sat at again. Watching her. The way she threw her head back to laugh. The bright little smile that gave him the distinct feeling that yes, she could certainly be a handful if she really wanted to and she were really being her truest self. He  glared at Reggie when the two locked eyes after a few minutes.
And while the advice his best friend Fangs gave him was a good idea in theory, it was not an idea good enough to stop Sweetpea. Even though Sweetpea knew good and well that it probably should’ve been.
He needed to just let go.
He’d die before admitting it, but knowing he’d never have a chance with her only made him want her so much more. Enough that maybe the thought took root.. Maybe he could keep stirring things up. At the very least, Reggie wouldn’t have her all to himself anymore after it all played out. ,, and anybody is better than that fucking prick Mantle.” Sweetpea shoved the thought out of his head as soon as it came, because he knew deep down it was a lie.
He wanted her. All to himself.

*spoilers for heathers the musical and danganronpa 2 goodbye despair*
*tw for mentions of death and suicide*
Okay so I know it's been a minute since I've posted anything substantial so here's this:
I've got an heather's au for dr 2 that id like to share. Its not a completely fleshed out one but I have a good idea of most of the main characters in the story. So the easy choice would just be to make hajime, veronica, and make nagito, JD. Especially nagito for jd with the whole, well, bomb thing as well as them both being mentally unstable and having rough childhoods. Hajime fits the role of veronica because, like veronica, he wants to fit in and not be ostracized constantly. More specifically though, it would help him become confident, which is literally his whole arc in the second game. The heathers and the rest could then be determined by a lot of different characters and so on and so forth. I respect this interpretation and it does make a lot of sense, however, I would like to propose my own interpretation.
Let's start with the two main characters, veronica and jd. So for my au, I have decided that fuyuhiko will be veronica and peko will be jd. Let's start with my choice for jd. So, after my binge of the second game's playthrough, I remember that one night I was listening to heathers, specifically the song, our love is god. And as I listened I realized how similar peko and jd actually are. Now to preface, I'm not saying jd and peko are the same character, jd attempted to bomb an entire school and peko simply made the calculated decision to kill in order for fuyuhiko's safety to be assured.
What i am saying though, is that jd and peko's thought processes are very similar, and if peko was just a tad more unhinged, they would be hard to distinguish. How are they similar? Well, first you have the whole, "I worship you" mentality. Now, peko doesn't necessarily kiss the earth that fuyuhiko walks upon but this could be connected more to their actual relationship. That of a master and his servant. I servant must serve, much like a believer would to a god.
And right after that line jd says, "Id give my life for yours." Which peko literally does in the canon story, she gives her life in order to save fuyuhiko, and even protects him with her body in her own execution. Secondly, they both are delinquents, or socially awkward. They are both standoffish and seen as intimidating by others, and they both don't exactly know how to communicate well. Thirdly, they have somewhat similar backgrounds. Jd lost his mother, and peko is an orphan, they both know what its like to not live with parents, or at least not favorable parents. For example, peko had to constantly interfere with mr. and mrs. kuzuryu fighting to insure fuyuhiko's safety. And jd and his father have a tenuous relationship, with jd's father mostly being a near non-present force in his life. Additionally, im sure the leaders of a yakuza clan weren't exactly doting parents.
And lastly, their mutual feelings of self worth, or more so, the lack of it. Both jd and peko believe their lives to be meaningless without the existence of their veronicas. The only good things in their lives are their veronicas, and they would do anything to hold onto that happiness, even if it resulted in their deaths. But enough about jd and peko, what about fuyuhiko? This may seem like an odd choice and solely made on the prospect that jd is peko, but that isn't exactly the case.
While yes it seems unlikely that fuyuhiko would bother himself with the heathers, or even have a martha, i think it fits more as a visual metaphor of his character growth shown in the game. Its just that in this au, he's a popular dick that learns to be a better person after his gf dies, which is almost what happens in the actual game, minus the popular part. But mostly I'd like to tie in fuyuhiko's role as veronica when it comes to jd. This is where the similarities really start to shine. This is shown mainly in the song, seventeen, where veronica yearns for a normal relationship and to just be normal kids that aren't surrounded by murder. Sound familiar? Well it should, that's literally fuyuhiko's whole speech near the end of chapter 2.
I doubt this needs repeating since this scene is the equivalent of the g note in the dr fandom but for the sake of the argument I will go on. Fuyuhiko in his parting words says this, "You didn't need to be a tool, you just needed to be yourself." And, "I never wanted a tool, I just wanted you....Only you." Which is him saying, "Peko I don't what you to serve me, I don't want this kind of relationship. I just want you to be yourself, and I wanted you for you, not to be a tool for murder." Which could then easily be implied that he doesn't want to murder anyone anymore. This is a near exact mirror of the feelings expressed by veronica in seventeen.
Sure im probably looking into things a bit, but still fuyuhiko's speech near the end of ch. 2 and veronica's feelings in seventeen share a lot of similarities. Both veronica and fuyuhiko simply want to have a normal relationship with their respective partners, but this ultimately fails because their partners worshiped them and this fatal misunderstanding would lead to their deaths. As for the others, I don't have nearly as deep anlaysises of them and I don't have all the characters but I'll briefly discuss my choices for the heathers, kurt, ram, and martha. Also, this is purely in the universe of dr 2, so possible better choices for characters in other games would not be possible in my au.
So heather chandler is the ultimate imposter, this was a pretty obvious choice, while the UI isn't quite as big of a dick as byakuya he's still a jerk, but more importantly, just like in the game, he is a great leader for the heathers and without him the other two descend into chaos. Now this pick is gonna be a strange one but I will explain. I chose mikan to be heather duke. Now I know yall may find that to be an unfitting choice but I personally chose mikan to be heather duke mainly for the shine a light reprise. This is because I chose heather mcnamara to be hiyoko.
Most of the other girls also didn't fit this role, akane would be hard to see as any of heathers and I also think she's far too carefree to urge someone to commit suicide. Ibuki is completely out of the question, and considering how her death looked in the game it would be quite ironic as well. Chiaki also wouldn't make sense for obvious reasons. Mahiru also would obviously not make sense either and she's already a choice for another character anyway. And lastly, sonia wouldn't fit either. I could see her having a secret nasty side but I dont think she would tell someone to commit suicide and she also was always kind to hiyoko even when hiyoko lashed out at others.
And just to cover my bases, I don't think any of the boys would fit either. Maybe kazuichi or nagito but kazuichi is too much of a pussy and nagito would be more likely to say that stuff about himself rather than direct towards anyone else. Heck I could also even consider that after the ultimate imposter dies that's when mikan reverts back to her personality as the ultimate despair, so instead of her reverting because of some disease it would be at the death of her "friend" and the role of leader getting into her head. This would then influence her to tell hiyoko to commit suicide, causing peak despair and blah blah whatever. Hiyoko as heather mcnamara was a pretty easy choice thanks to lifeboat, it also especially fits if you consider hiyoko's backstory. She's the sole daughter of the saionji family, which is a very prestigious family in dr. This along with her talent as a dancer means that she is held to a much higher standard than other kids of her age and that she goes through constant pressure each day due to this standard.
"If I say the wrong thing, or i wear the wrong outfit, they'll throw me right over the side." This is what hiyoko has to deal with on a daily basis from her family as well as her fans. She also could likely be projecting this fear onto the other students. Alright, last three. For kurt and ram, I chose mahiru and sato and if you want my honest opinion it's literally just because peko gets to kill them both in our love is god and that's pretty much canon in the actual game. I say pretty much because, technically fuyuhiko is the one that kills sato but this is an au and that's honestly a pretty minor fix.
Lastly, I haven't thought a lot about martha's role in this au, but if I had to choose it would most likely be kazuichi, he fits as the social outcast and especially as the frequent punching bag for the heathers, especially considering that hiyoko is among their ranks. And that's about it for my dr heather's au! This post definitely went on longer than I intended but I had fun with it and I think you guys deserve a lengthier post since I haven't made as many actual posts besides birthdays in a hot minute. Let me know what yall think of this, and if you'd like to hear me infodump about more of my dr aus or thoughts than I would be happy to oblige.

May I have this dance?
Queen B
Chloe St. James x Bea Hughes
“Oh the agony” Bea heard Zoey scream from her room. she rushed to her room to see what was going on. “what's wrong zoey?! is everything okay?!” Bea looked around her room to spot anything out of the ordinary. “i don't have a hot date to go to the gala with” she signed dramatically “do you have a date bea?” Bea shook her head , she thought about asking someone, someone unexpected but she was nervous about asking her. How would Zoey react? “Earth to Bea” Zoey frantically waved her hand in front of Bea’s face and she quickly snapped back to reality “sorry Zo, I was just thinking of who to take to the Gala” she scratched the back of her head. a smile curved on Zoey’s lips. “i have an idea, how about we try to find a date by 8:00 P.M, if we don't then we can go together as friends” sounds like a plan
Bea was walking through the school campus, computer bag on her hand, when she was stopped by none other than Poppy Min-Sinclair aka satan herself followed by her minions Chloe st. James and Veronica Lombardi “well, hello there Farmsville, looking for some mud to roll in?” ughh poppy that joke is getting old now, can you come up with something original? “ha yeah oompa loompa one and two but since Zoey isn't here that makes you, like, oompa loompa two or one” Chloe dumbly spoke. Bea tried to walk away from them but poppy pushed her back “what's wrong Farmville? cat got your tongue?” Bea stood with her arms crossed, ignoring Poppy. Poppy checked her out from head to toe, “I hope your not planning on going to the gala with those rags on, I would feel bad for your date” Veronica was just on her phone, ignoring the whole conversation meanwhile, Chloe was just standing there with her arms crossed looking dumbstruck, like always. Poppy leaned forward and said in a low voice “ just remember, just because you were invited to this gala doesn't make you special, you might be in 6th place but you will never be queen B, I am the queen” she stepped back with a smug smile, “lets go Veronica and Chloe, we got better things to do than to hang around in this trashy college campus” both girls followed poppy out of Bea’s view. these girls need some help. she walked over to sit on a bench and she pulled out her laptop and got started on her work.

Veronica and Chloe were sitting down on the living room couch, discussing the gala. “hey V?” Veronica looked up from her phone “I was just searching up some cute dresses online, should I get a red or blue one?” She showed Chloe her phone which Chloe pointed at the red dress. “its super cute but i need to ask you something” Veronica signed “is this about the pizza you were saving for today because let me just tell you, I wasn't the one who ate it also, who the hell cooks pizza on the stove, you're supposed to cook it in the oven” she shook her head and went back to her phone “It helps the environment” Chloe crossed her arms “in what world?!, Chlo, in what world?” a look of confusion spread across Chloe’s face “umm...well that is not the point, I just wanted to ask you if you know anything about who Bea is going with to the Gala?” Veronica thought for a moment “not that I know off, why?” chloe took a deep breath “because I want to ask her to the dance”
“just trust me on this, it will work” “but what if she screams at me or smacks me” Veronica facepalmed herself “why would Bea smack you? look, I know you guys have some bad history but if you are willing to make it up to her then she might just give it a chance, who knows you two might even fu-" Chloe covered her mouth "not so fast V, you are getting way ahead of yourself there" she blushed. Veronica just raised her shoulders and kept walking towards where Bea was sitting. "Good luck Chloe, I believe in you" she pushed Chloe towards Bea and ran off. When Bea saw Chloe just standing there, yeah standing like a stalker, she quickly got up and was about to leave until Chloe called after her "Bea Hughes, stop right there" she stomped towards Bea ``what the hell do you want Chloe, i got places to be right now" she said in a furious voice. "Oh really, cause i just saw you just sitting there like an idiot" she pointed towards the bench "it's called studying, of course someone as dumb as you woulnt understand" ouch. Maybe that was a little too harsh. "Look Bea, im sorry for what I said earlier about the oompa lompa thing, that was totally uncalled for so i came to apologize" Chloe gave her an adorable smile, no matter how dumb and annoying Chloe was, she sure was adorable. "Fine then apology accepted, just please don't come anywhere near me" she started leaving when once again, Chloe stopped her. Jesus christ lady just let me get back to my dorm. "I have one more thing to ask" Bea raised an eyebrow at her "I just wanted to ask if you wanted to come to the Gala with me?"
"YOU DID WHAT?!'' Zoey yelled at her. Well it wasn't much of a yell, more like a concerned question. "She forced me to go with her, plus i don't want to be rude about it, she has been nice to me the last couple of weeks'' Zoey shook her head as she took a drink from her champagne glass "honey, look, this is Chloe St. James you are talking about. Poppy's minion, poppy's second in command what would happen if she found out that you are going out with her friend" Bea knew this was going to happen, but it's not like Zoey is mad at her she is just concerned right? "Look Zoey, I know how to defend myself and how to handle it, if Poppy tries to do something I will… I dont know...ill figure it out later, but I'm going to the dance with her and that is final" she stormed towards her room and laid on her bed thinking about what she just did. What if all of this was just a trap, what if poppy told Chloe to ask her out just to humiliate her like she did with Zoey at the bacchanalia. *ding* her phone went off. It was the T. They had posted again
Good morning Belvoire
Hopefully everyone is ready and has a date for tomorrow's gala, I sure do and after what appeared to be a fight going on with wannabe and our queen Poppy, we prepare for the Gala tomorrow. After the recent events of today, we might experience some interesting things tomorrow at the gala. Nevertheless, we should all get ready. One more thing, rumors have it that wannabe is off to the Gala with one of the top 5, wonder who it could be. One thing is for sure, poppy is not going to be happy about this
Kisses,
The T
Great now everyone knows that i'm going to the gala with one of the top 5, the good news is no knows who it is, until tomorrow
“Come on Bea, we are going to be late, plus our limo is here to pick us up” Bea ran out of the bathroom picking up her phone and wallet from the countair in the kitchen. make up, check. wallet and phone. check and check. she was nervous as hell. nervous about both Poppy and Chloe but she had to calm herself down “okay Bea, deep breath” she relaxed herself
The gala was full of rich people, Bea felt out of place already. “you okay, Bea?” she snapped back to reality. “hmm oh yeah, I have to go find Chlo, I'll see you soon” she was about to leave when Zoey graved her arm “hey, about yesterday, sorry if I was acting like a bitch, I was just worried about you that's all” Bea knew that feeling to well. “‘it's fine Zoey, I was just confused and angry about what you said” Bea smiled “well, I promise it won't happen again now go find your date, I’ll see you later and have fun” Zoey gave her a small smile and headed to a different direction. Bea was trying to find Chloe but no luck and at the same time, she was trying to avoid Poppy, now if only she had some kind of tracker, that would make her search much easier. “oh hi, Bea” she got startled and jumped, she got all defensive but she then realized it was Chloe. “oh hey, chlo, umm...nice dress” she was wearing a beautiful royal blue dress with a blue necklace. “oh do you like it, me and Veronica went to the mall to buy dresses, well she dint exactly go, I mean she did go but she didn't buy anything” as if on cue, Veronic pops up “wow newbie you look amazing, im digging the power suit” she slides her hands through the fabric, amazed by it. “You got lucky this year, Chloe. This power suit makes you look super cute” she said, still focused on Bea’s power suit. “right?! that's exactly what I Said in my mind when I saw her” Chloe exclaimed. Veronica cleared her throat, “well I should get going, I need to live stream the gala right now for those who weren't invited. have fun you two, just not too much fun” she chuckled and Chloe blushed. “so how are you liking the gala so far?” bea nervously asked “it's fun so far, I think, Oh look there is Carter right there” she pointed towards Carter who just walked through the main doors “want to go say hi?” Bea froze up as soon as she saw poppy staring at her with an evil look, she got nervous “you go talk to him, I’ll go get us some drinks, tell him I said hi” she nodded and headed to a different direction. this was weird, usually Bea isn't scared of poppy, she always schools her ass. “what do you want now poppy” she scoffed “you're the one who came towards me” Bea crossed her arms “you’re the one who gave me the stink eye, so it's obvious you want to talk to me” poppy got closer to her. “I see that you are trying to steal Chloe away from me, dumb old Chloe. But i won't let you, you can't take away my posse from me, because I am the queen here” she stepped back with an evil grin, she looked so much like satans companion “what's wrong poppy? scared that this little piggy is going to blow down your house, scared that you might lose without your posse” she confidently said. “you don't know me Farmville, i'm a Min-Sinclair, us Sinclairs usually get what we want. think of me as a goddess and you as a filthy peasant” Bea let out a small laugh “are you sure because all I see is a pathetic Bitch looking for excuses to be rude towards others, might be the reason why Veronica and Chloe hate your ass”  Poppy started getting defensive “watch your mouth wannabe, you don't want to piss me off” she got tense “whatever you say Poppy, but just so you know, I won't let you ruin this night for me” poppy stormed off. the look on her face was priceless. Bea went over to where Chloe was “so no drinks?” she asked “sorry, I had to go deal with someone” she raised an eyebrow “never mind that” Bea extended her hand towards her, “May I have this dance Ms. St. James” she shook her head “finally, I was waiting forever” she took her hand and Bea led her towards the dance floor. “You know, I never thought I would be going to the dance with you, I thought I was going to be stuck alone, until Veronica encouraged me to ask you to the Gala” Bea let out a polite smile “you by yourself? Someone as beautiful as you shouldnt have a hard time finding a date” Bea signed “You were actually my first choice on who to go to the gala. I never brought myself to ask you since I thought you hated me” they swayed along the music “okay cut the romantic crap-I mean I still hate you Newbie but I thought I should give you a chance” Chloe blushed “no you love me, I knew you would warm up to me eventually” “yes- I mean no...stop confusing me” Bea laughed. “I rest my case” As they danced, Chloe started getting closer to her “you know I never had this much fun ever since the Bacon-alia” Bea let out a small chuckle, god she was adorable “you mean bacchanalia?” Chloe nodded “yes that's it, I think” they danced the night away in pure bliss. making Bea forget about everything. forgetting all about poppy, the ranks, the gala and just focused on her and Chloe together. dancing the night away

I didn’t mean to fall in love with you
Chapter Two
Book: Queen B - Choices (Universe)
Pairing:  Poppy Min-Sinclair x Trans!Male MC  (Beck Hughes)
Genre: Canon re-write (Because I can)
Rating: Anyone can read it, really... I think.
I´ll be posting this one over here because Tumblr, for some reason, thinks my secondary blog is a bot...
This is me trying to write by and for the Trans community, specially FTM community, meaning, trans guys, but I actually took the liberty to use They/them pronouns for everyone out there who´s interested (Also, the name Beck was the most neutral one I could find, trying to use the cannon Bea Hughes)
Now, about the PAIRING... I will be using choices style, kinda. If you have any comment, PLEASE BE RESPECTFULL and patient with me. This is also my first english fanfic and english is not my mother language, so... i’m sorry fo the grammar errors
CHAPTERS
The beginning
Chapter one
ONE-SHOTS
Just a dance (Zoey x MC)
—————————————————————————–
One of their favorite things of all New York experience it's having lunch with Zoey. The girl was funny and interesting and she always had the right conversation to spend time with. Also, she had an incredible taste in music, they both even shared some classes together, working in pair so often that the rest of their classmates just knew they weren't available to them.
So when Beck found out Zoey co-produced the last summer hit, they weren't surprised, what was making some teeny tiny noise in their head was…
“Did you really co-produced Lightning and you didn't tell me?!”
… That.
Beck was impressed, of course. They where proud! That song was one of their personal favorites, so the fact of knowing they were collaborating all this time with such a spectacular talent was an honor.
“To be fair, you never asked” She chuckled.
“Oh, yeah. Yeah, Zoey: Hey, my name's Beck, had you ever co-produced a summer hit? Because I haven’t”. Beck ironized. The news were all over The T, and it definitely had to do with a little lunch Zoey managed to have with the same Professor Roberta, making her finally be friends with Beck. “By the way, thank you very much. You didn’t have to do that.”
“Babe, you just bought us a $200 lunch. I think you deserved not to have some teachers bad blood”
“Maybe I did it to be on your good side” Beck winked towards her, making Zoey laugh.
“Such a charmer, aren’t you?” Zoey opened their room door, finally reaching their home. “Careful, Beck. You’re going to make me believe I'm your favorite girl.”
“How says you aren’t?”
“Hum… I don’t know” She tapped her chin with a perfect polished fingernail, pretending to be thinking about it. “Maybe some little bird called Ina Kingsley.
Ow! Low blow
“Ah, gotcha!” Zoey laughed.
“Ok, that’s completely unfair! You know it was one-time thing and we ended whatever that was as soon as we found out we were teacher-student” Which was practically the very next day, by the way… kinda.
“Still… I think you should make it up to me for it.” Oh, that little flirty game between them. Beck was curious about it most of the time. Was it just a joke? Something more? Back at Farmville they never had a friendship relationship like that one, but Zoey was never really clear about the matter neither.
Instead, she always came up with some Ina related topic and it was confusing as fuck. I mean, yeah, they kissed Zoey in front of everyone in that football kiss cam. Beck thought that time that it was very clear they wanted to be more than friends with her. But apparently, she didn't feel the same, so… they won’t be pushing her. Beck would never oblige someone to be into… well… them.
“What can I do? Please tell” They said, playing along with her.
“You're a smart one. I'm sure you’ll find a way to do so.” Damn it, Zoey…
“I already have a few ideas… Scandalous lingerie.” Beck joked some more, a mischievous smile on their lips. “I’m thinking satin sheets, handcuffs, maybe a blindfold…”
“I like this image. You, sprawled out on the mattress, completely at my mercy…” Zoey moved closer to them, trailing her finger up their arm, making them shiver.
“Come on, Zo. Back down already! At least show me something, do something.”
“I might just take you up on that someday.” She said before walking away, teasing them.
“Gwaah!”
Beck hated that. Really, that kind of frustration was no good at all.
“Crap, I'm gonna be late for music theory! This is not good. The prof is a total hardass.”
“Told ya! You should’ve choose professor Liam as I did. You brought this on yourself.”
“And now you’re just an asshole” She said smiling, hitting Beck right on their arm.
“Ouch! Rude…”
“I’ll catch up with you tonight, yeah?”
“It’ a date”
~~X~~
“Are you sure you’re ok, Poppy?” Veronica asked. She looked preoccupied, and she was… But Poppy wasn’t the one in her mind. The blogger was worried for Chloe.
She was number one now, dethroning Poppy so suddenly that it was suspicious, especially knowing the blonde dumb head girl. She adores Poppy since they were kids, Chloe would never betray her, never. But of course, Poppy wouldn’t see that; no, the strawberry blonde was furious, feeling backstabbed, feeling like revenge…
Of course, you couldn´t blame her. She lived all her life between smoke and mirrors.
“Of course I am!” She replied, knotting her white transparent beach dress, covering up a sexy pink bikini. Poppy took a deep breath and accommodated her cleavage so it shows part of her chest, just a little, seductively inviting, but demure enough no to seem made on purpose. She was an expert on it, and she was about to prove her theory right about now. “I´ll take care of that traitor later…” She checked the hour on her phone. She had invited Farmsville to come there around this time. Test number one: They needed to be punctual, no lover –real or fake- of hers is an irresponsible with her time. She had better things to do than waiting around for an asshole. “Now come, Hughes must be here by now”
“No, I think I’m going to stay right here. Light’s perfect” Poppy rolled her eyes at the way Veronica was trying to find the right angle to make her face look impossible good. She always manages to do so, though.
The strawberry blonde crossed the room, walking through the cabin towards the swimming pool room, she could see Beck there, on time, talking with Michael. Poppy smiled to herself.
“Test passed, Farmsville…”
“… It was built by the Alphas and Zetas as a place to study, party, hook up… Now the only people who come here are - -“
“The people I decide should be here.” She made her entrance.
Test number two: Is Beck into girls? Kissing Zoey didn´t count, Poppy herself had kissed a lot of friends without liking them, she had to prove it herself first hand. So she walked to them with confidence, head up high while moving her hips seductively, attentive to Beck´s every reaction, reading their face, their expressions, the little gulp in their throat, the way their eyes opened wild, checking her out, looking at her boobs…
“Disgusting pervert”
… to her eyes, were Beck fixed their own to stay, always to the face. Beck was trying to be polite, respectful, but the red on their cheeks was exactly the same they had back in the class. They liked what they saw, Poppy knew it. Just to verify, she took a look at the rest of Alphas, who looked away the moment they were discovered. Ugh, gross.
“… but… you have manners. I like it… Second test approved. Well done.”
“Welcome, Farmsville. Let’s discuss our little project, shall we?” An inviting smirk was drawn on Poppy’s lips, willing to test the limits of her new discovery, how much more could she play with Beck today?
“Oh, sure. See ya guys at gym” Beck said, bumping fists and shoulders with the Alphas as if they were good friends. One more of them. For an instant, Poppy found herself wishing they won’t turn Beck into a brainless gorilla. Beck was fine just like already was.
A blonde head caught her eye from behind Beck, saving her of questioning what was that though about because the anger crawled its way up her stomach, keeping her from minding of anything else. “Hold on. What is she doing here?”
The fucking nerve!
The audacity!
Every person in the room was watching Chloe, but nobody had the rage Poppy had. Of course she made them block the entry, how dare she?! After a little scene, that bitch finally went away. To think she considered Chloe her very own best friend! Deep inside, she was hurt, she felt used… The society was right: never to trust anyone, because their always pretending, always faking no matter what they said. Waiting the right moment to strike. That was a mistake she was never going to repeat. Never. She was about to leave, ready to start the project, but of course, Beck was about to ruin her mood one more time.
“That was… pretty rough…” What did they just say? The strawberry girl observed Beck. There was no rest of respect in them, conversely, Beck looked at Poppy as if she was Narnia´s White Witch, what happened to the little lamb look? “I get it if ya’ll are in a fight, but isn’t she supposed to be, like, your best friend?”
God, they were an idiot.
“You´re not here to be my moral compass, Farmsville. Shut the fuck up and walk with me. The rest of you, get out. Now”
Once alone, they both walked slowly around the pool, silence… She didn’t enjoy that. At all. But it was necessary and she couldn´t show any weakness sign to anyone there. Especially not Beck. But… She was now sure of one thing: Beck didn’t care about looks, but actions, or… feelings?
“Have you checked the student ranking today?” She asked, her voice softened. Beck shook their head. They looked at her phone, and after a while…
“Oh boy. Chloe is…”
“Don´t say it…” She was angry, venom caught in her throat, but instead, she let that out like a whisper. A hurt one. She wasn’t faking it, but controlling her emotions on her benefit. Wanting more test, Poppy slipped off her heels and went to sit at the edge of the pool. A moment after, she felt Beck doing the same.
“Bingo”
“It’s just as my parents told me… You don´t have any real friends, Poppy. Just allies. Hmp! Looks like they were right all this time.”
“Poppy, I…” They said, unsure.
“Such a shame.” She stopped him, going back to the anger. “I don’t know who she thinks she is, or who she had to sleep with to knock me out of my spot, but if she thinks this is over she is so wrong. It’s utter betrayal is what it is. That girl is dead to me.” Silence. Was that too soon? Did she got it wrong, again?
“Poppy, you´re too hot to worry about this”
Yes… now they can play.

Unexpected Visitor [Skephalo]
I’ve been in the mood to write a lot lately. In fact, I will most likely post another fanfic soon. ^-^ Anyways, Darryl and Zak finally get to see each other for the first time in real life. However, there is a third person in the mix. I put a bunch of effort into it, so I hope you enjoy!
Darryl cannot recall the last time he's been this nervous, excited, and eager for something so much. He was currently driving in his car, shaking like a leaf as every single emotion was going haywire.
"Alright, calm down Noveschosch. You're only coming over to see a friend. This is not something to get so..." As much as he tried, his thoughts couldn't stop his heart from exploding in excitement. He broke out into a goofy smile and a blush as he screamed to himself. "I'M GOING TO SEE SKEPPYYY!"
Darryl then let out a startled yelp when a car honked behind him. He continued to pay attention to the road, a little embarrassed that he got himself distracted. He went back to grinning not even a second later though. Maybe he’s a bit too eager to see him.
Darryl couldn't really help it though. He had always wanted to meet up with Zak for ages. It was almost unbelievable that it took them this long to see each other. He thought it was even more unbelievable that it was finally happening!
-
It all started a couple of weeks ago. The both of them were wrapping up an event on Minecraft. They were congratulating the winner and sending money to their PayPal. Zak and Darryl talked for a little bit afterwards, discussing plans.
"So, I actually might not be online for a while since I'm eventually going to pack up my monitor." Zak made an effort to keep a straight face as Darryl made a noise in confusion. "You're packing your monitor away? Why?"
"Well actually, I should probably start packing everything else before that." Zak chuckled.
"What? ...Wait." Darryl gasped. "You're moving?"
"Yeah! I'm finally moving out of my apartment." Zak grinned wide, no longer wanting to contain the secret. "I may or may not have found a house available in Florida."
"Aw well that's great news! I'm really happy for-" Darryl stopped talking and felt his heart skip a beat. Did his ears hear that previous statement correctly? "I-I'm sorry what... what did you just say?"
Zak giggled at Darryl's moment of disbelief. "I said that I may or may not be moving into a house in Florida. 1234 on ___ road." Darryl swore he stopped breathing for a second when it was confirmed what he heard was true.
That was his state.
The address didn't sound that far from his apartment.
He would be able to visit him.
"Ohmygoodness!!! Skeppy!!!" Darryl squealed, almost jumping from his chair in exhilaration. Zak started laughing since he was almost as excited as the other. Darryl was stumbling over his words.
"Do you realize that- I- This is- Oh my gosh! You better not be messing with me or I will-"
"Hehe, Nope! I'm 100% moving to Florida."
"Okay, then.." Darryl let out a small squeal of joy. "We should meet up! After everything gets set up in your new house, let's see each other right away!"
Zak smiled, a warm blush creeping up his neck. "I was thinking the same thing."
Then the weeks went by. Darryl insisted to drive over there when Zak got settled in. They were even debating on the possibilities on where to go to. Now the day is finally here.
-
He finally arrived in front of Zak's house. Darryl's nerves suddenly skyrocketed and he couldn't stop smiling. He really couldn't pinpoint why he was this anxious, but he decided to take a moment and take deep breaths before stepping outside.
After a few minutes of calming down, he walked up to the door and paused. His eyebrows furrowed, hearing laughter from the inside. Darryl easily identified Zak's endearing laugh, but he also heard someone unfamiliar laughing along.
Darryl knocked on the door and heard Zak's muffled talk. His eagerness was returning and he heard someone inside practically dashing towards the door.
Zak quickly opened the door and beamed when he saw the slightly taller man with brown hair and green eyes. "Bad!"
Darryl's heart swelled with joy seeing Zak's dark brown eyes and raven colored hair. "Skeppy!"
Darryl squeezed him into a hug, almost knocking him over. Zak immediately hugged back as he laughed cheerfully. Neither of them wanted to let go for a while. "Dude! You're so early!" Darryl blushed a bit and smiled wide. "Well I- I really wanted to see you as soon as possible! Don't judge me!"
When both of them finally let go of each other, Darryl noticed another person who was sitting on the couch. It was a woman with long red hair, freckles, and pretty blue eyes. She was staring at them with a curious look on her face.
She started to walk over there with a smile. "Hello, who do we have here?" Zak turned around and smiled at her. "Oh! Veronica, this is Bad! Er- Well I guess I should call him Darryl now." Darryl gave a polite smile. "Hi."
"Bad? Darryl? ..Wait a minute." She pointed at him. "You're badboyhalo, aren't you?" Zak raised an eyebrow. "I thought you said you rarely watch my videos."
"Yeah, and I've seen him in almost every single one I watched!" She laughed. "Like what the hell, does he make up like 95% of your channel or something?!" Zak laughed as he felt heat rising up his cheeks. "No he doesn't, shut the hell up!"
Darryl awkwardly smiled at the two, suppressing the urge to say language to the both of them. "So um, your name is Veronica?" She nodded and held out her hand. Darryl took it and she gave a firm handshake. "Yep! Name's Veronica! Nice to meet you Darryl!"
Zak put a hand on her shoulder. "Veronica and I have known each other since high school. We sort of kept in touch a bit." He nervously laughed. "She also sort of... barged in here unannounced. " Veronica laughed.
"Hey! I didn't barge in here, you invited me in!"
"Well yeah, but you were the one who suddenly showed up unexpectedly!"
"What else did you expect me to do when you said you were here in Florida?" She snickered. "Next time, you can barge into my dorm at in inconvenient time so that we are even!"
The two giggled at their antics. Darryl smiled at the two, yet also couldn't help but feel a slight twinge in his heart. "They seem very close together. Are they... No, he would tell me if there were, right? Wait. Why would I feel bad if they were? ..Should I just leave them be?"
"Hey Ske- er um, Zak? You think we could hang out another day? I'd feel bad if I just interrupt you two catching up." Veronica's eyes widen and tried to say something until Zak wrapped his arms around Darryl's left arm. "Nonono don't leave!"
Darryl looked at him and felt his face start to redden when Zak continued whining. "Please don't leave! I've been excited to have you here for weeks, please?" Zak was looking at him with puppy eyes. Darryl felt his heart melt. How could he say no to that?
"Fine you muffin, I'll stay." Zak smiled brightly and fully hugged him. Darryl returned the hug and saw Veronica staring at them again, this time with a grin. Zak let go and look down at himself.
"I should probably go change though. I was going to get ready until somebody invaded my house!" Veronica only cackled in response. Zak smiled, shook his head, and went to the bathroom.
-
The two were sitting in awkward silence for a bit as Zak was away. Veronica wanted to break the ice first, so she decided to ask a question. "So how long have you two loved each other?" Darryl immediately felt his face burn up. "W-What?!"
She nervously laughed in embarrassment as she realized that probably wasn't the best question to ask. "What I meant to say was, how long have you two known each other?"
Darryl calmed down a bit. "Oh, we've.. known each other for a couple years."
"Ah.." A few more seconds of silence went by. She decided to make Darryl talk some more about Zak in order to break the silence. "So, what was it like when you first met him?"
Oh this was definitely going to take a while.
Darryl talked about the time Zak "applied" to be staff on his server. He recalled how absolutely frustrating and infuriating it was back then. Despite that though, it was now a fond memory to look back to. Not only did he hit 100k subscribers that time, but he grew close to someone who was now one of his best friends.
Darryl's face glowed as he warmly smiled. He wouldn't trade that moment for all the muffins in the world. The red head couldn't stop smiling throughout the whole thing.
"Wow... he really is a lot more different now! Though, I guess his trolly nature didn't leave." She laughed. "Ahh some things never change." This made Darryl curious. "What was he like in high school? What's different?"
"Well first, I don't want to go too much into detail, but let's just say Zak and I kind of hung around with the wrong people." Darryl nodded, recalling that he had said something like that long ago.
"In our old friend group, he was known for messing around with a lot of people. But he was also known for being cold sometimes, not really caring about others or anything at all really." Darryl was surprised. That definitely didn't sound like the Zak he knew at all.
Veronica kind of looked a bit down as she continued. "Most of us were basically jerks and a bunch of morons together. Zak must've realized this and eventually faded from the group. I liked Zak the most out of everyone, so I eventually left as well."
She smiled a little. "I think we're the only ones out of the group who stayed on good terms. I'm happy because I used to not care about my studies, but now I'm in college." Veronica lightly snickered. "One of us had to be the smart one, am I right?"
Darryl slightly chuckled and she proceeded. "As for Zak, I can't believe he's a youtuber now and well... Has he ever told you how lucky he is to have friends like you? He probably wouldn't be like this if it wasn't for you."
"Hahaha, Aww that's not true. It sounded like he turned his life around, which I'm glad to hear! He made a lot of other friends and it's great that you two stayed in touch for that long."
"Yeah but-" She looked at the bathroom door and looked back at Darryl. "Don't tell him I said this, okay?" He was confused but slowly nodded anyways. "I may not know about this exactly, but going off from the goo goo eyes he has whenever he looks at you, I have a feeling that he loves you."
Darryl looked stunned, feeling a blush slowly creep up his neck. "What? ..What are you talking about?" She started to laugh. "Oh come on, don't play dumb with me!"
Her eyes darted to the side, trying to find the right words. "Zak and I keep in touch, but we don't talk a whole lot. Almost every time we do though, he mentions you the most out of all his friends!"
Darryl felt his heart pound as she smiled at him sincerely. "I don't know if you have any idea how much you mean to him. He's never hugged anyone like that before... I've never seen him this happy before. He absolutely adores you."
Darryl looked at the floor, his face being a lovely shade of red. He already knows he was smiling like a love struck fool while Veronica was grinning at the sight, thinking to herself. "Can't really hide it now, can you?"
"He... D-Do you really think he-" Darryl got cut off as he heard the bathroom door open. Zak looked a bit freshened up wearing new clothes. Darryl looked away trying to calm down while Veronica acted like nothing interesting was going on.
"Finally! What the hell were you doing in there?! Putting make-up on?!" Zak bursts out laughing. "No I'm not wearing-! Why don't you try wearing make-up?!" She dramatically gasped and stood up, putting a hand on her hip.
"Did you just call me ugly!? Bitch how dare you, I'm fabulous!" Zak laughed some more while Darryl made a face but also smiled a bit. "Language!"
Zak sat right next to Darryl laughing a bit. "Oh yeah, swearing in front of Bad is a big no no at all times." She chuckled. "Okay? I guess I'll try to keep that in mind."
-
All three of them hung around the house for a bit. Darryl and Zak were still sitting next to each other, trying to decide where they want to go. Even though they discussed this before, they still can't really decide. The both of them were arguing where to eat. Darryl was on his phone suggesting many places on google maps.
"Okay so what about this place? It’s the closest one from here."
"Nah, I ate there yesterday."
"Oh well then, is there anything that you're craving?"
"Nah, I'm good with whatever."
"What about this pizza place then?"
"Nah, I'm not in the mood for thin crust."
Darryl felt his eye twitch. "Oh my goodness you fatty just pick something already!"
Zak giggled and pointed at a random location on his phone. "What about here?"
"THAT IS A CEMETERY YOU MUFFIN HEAD!"
Zak bursts out laughing as the two continued to bicker back and forth. Veronica was also laughing in the background, enjoying the show. Darryl let a noise of frustration out and faced Zak, inches away from his face.
"You are driving me up the wall, Zak! Stop it!" Zak smirked and didn't budge from his spot. "Or else what?" Veronica let out a loud laugh and speed walked to the door
"Oh my god, I can't! I'm out! GET A ROOM YOU TWO! Jesus Christ!"
Both of their faces went red. Zak jolted away him while Darryl sat in flustered silence "Wh- What do you- Where are you going?!"
Veronica laughed and shouted. "I'm headin out! I'm not about to be the third wheel on your first date with him!"
Zak shrieked. "WE AREN'T DATING! And you don't even have to leave!"
She smugly smiled. "Nah I think I've stayed here long enough." She winked. "Good luck you two~." As she closed the door, the both of them could hear her muffled cackles from here.
Darryl snapped out of his trance while the other was flabbergasted on what just happened. "So... is this a date Skeppy?" Darryl giggled, slightly joking but also wishing for it to be true.
Zak just groaned, too embarrassed at this point. "I hate both of you." Darryl only giggled and hugged him. "Aw, I love you too." Zak hesitantly hugged back while the both of them sat in comfortable silence for a bit. Darryl slowly let go and took out his phone.
"You know what? I feel like ordering takeout instead of going out to eat. Is that alright with you? And then we can go someplace fun afterwards?"
Zak lightly smiled, staring at him. "Sure.. I'd like that."
Few seconds of silence passed He looked up at his phone to see Zak staring at him. Darryl lightly smiled. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
Zak grinned, feeling his face warm up. "I just.. still can't believe you're in front of me right now." Zak lightly touched his left cheek as they both looked into each other's eyes.
"..going off from the goo goo eyes he has whenever he looks at you, I have a feeling that he loves you."
"..he loves you."
Darryl felt like he was burning up, suddenly feeling shy. He slightly looked away from him. "I-I'm.. really happy to see you too.."
Zak leaned against his shoulder, pointing at Darryl's phone. "What about this place right here?" Darryl leaned on Zak's head. "Ooh! I’ve tried the food there before, it’s really good. I'll call the place."
The both of them didn't move from their place, smiling to themselves. They could get used to this. It was really peaceful and nice. Really, really nice. It was a quiet moment...
Until they both started to quarrel over who gets to pay for the food.
[End]
Sooo I have to ask, how was Veronica?
I got the idea to write a character like her because almost every time I see a random woman in a Skephalo fanfic, they are either someone who wants one of the boys or a really jealous ex-girlfriend.
I decided to make her a very straightforward person who.. may be a bit too comfortable and a bit invasive for her own good, but still a kind person.
I would love some feedback! I don’t talk a lot, but I really love seeing you guys comment/reblog and like. It always makes me smile! ^w^

Colorado Crybaby
Chapter 11
Penny's alarm rang. 6am. It would be time to go to work soon. Penny woke up fairly quickly and rolled over to look at Rachael, who was still asleep. A sprig of Rachael's hair covered her left eye. Her lips slightly parted as she drew in a breath. Penny felt like Rachael was perfect for her. She had liked other girls before; they were all pretty, some had a great personality, and others were fun to hang out with. Penny felt like Rachael was all three.
Penny turned off her alarm and slowly, quietly got out of bed so she wouldn't wake up Rachael. She padded over to the bathroom to take care of her business, then came back out to open her suitcase. Carefully, she unzipped the zipper to get her clothes out. She picked out her usual outfit, a navy blue pant suit. She stripped completely and put on fresh panties and the suit, watching Rachael all the while, making sure not to be loud enough to wake her up.
It was wonderful just watching Rachael sleep. If she looked close enough, Penny could see Rachael's shoulder rise and fall with her breathing. This was the first woman that Penny found who could mesmerize her without trying. Never before had someone captured Penny's full attention like she did. Now fully dressed for work, except for shoes, Penny watched as Rachael began to stir. It was 6:15, shortly before Rachael would normally wake up for work. Penny sat back in bed facing Rachael, so she could watch her wake up. Penny was always in awe of how this fully grown adult woman could look so small and adorable. Rachael rolled onto her back and took in a deep breath.
"Good morning, my sleepy girl. How did you sleep?"
"Good." Rachael yawned. Her eyes were still closed.
"Good. It's time to get up and get ready for work. It's time to be an adult, again."
Rachael let out a little whine.
"I know. Work isn't fun. But, hey. Today we can go to work together! We'll carpool. It'll make the trees happy."
Still groggy, she opened her eyes. Rachael perked up a little and said "Happy trees!"
"Yeah. Happy trees. Come on. Time to get dressed."
Penny pulled the covers back and Rachael threw her hands over her padded crotch.
     "Are you wet, baby girl?"
     Rachael blushed.
"Yes you are. You won't have any accidents during the day, will you? I'm asking out of genuine curiosity. I remember you said you wet when you're stressed, but I don't know a hundred percent how that works."
Rachael sat up and pulled the covers back over her lap.
"I won't." Rachael looked down at the floral pattern on the comforter. "It's only at night. This… this is still pretty shameful for me. I don't have any good memories of bedwetting. Only bad ones."
"I'm so sorry." Penny hugged Rachael. "I want to help get rid of this shame you have. There's no reason for anyone to have shame for what their body can or can not do. How can I help you this morning?"
"You're sweet, but I don't need any help. Thank you." Rachael quickly got out of bed and went to the bathroom. Penny could hear her taking off the diaper in the bathroom. Rachael didn't have any clothes to change into in the bathroom, so Penny found Rachael's pant suit that was similar to hers and took it to the bathroom door.
     "Penny? Could you…"
"Bring you your clothes? Yes! I can do that." Penny was cheery this morning. Rachael was not in the best mood. Bedwetting was never a good start to the day, but Penny hoped to lift her spirits. Rachael had helped Penny have a great weekend. Normally, Penny would have moped around her apartment arranging and rearranging decorations pointlessly.
     "I have them right here.”
Rachael cracked open the door and snatched them out of her hand. “Thanks.”
“You’re very welcome. What do you want to do for breakfast, Rachael?”
     “I haven’t had breakfast in a while.”
“Have you been skipping breakfast most days?” Penny was concerned.
Rachael hadn’t felt hungry for breakfast at all this past week. Everything had been so busy and she had yet to pick out a preferred breakfast, fast food or otherwise. It had been the least of her priorities.
“I’ve been busy.” Rachael replied. She knew that breakfast was important to Penny. She was sure Penny would invite her to join on her usual breakfast venture. She didn’t mind.
“Well, we need to change that. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.”
Rachael mocked her. “Most important meal of the day.”
Rachael opened the bathroom door, now dressed and ready for work. Penny playfully swatted Rachael’s butt.
“HEY!!” Rachael was surprised to get spanked, but she had also intentionally bratted out; testing the waters with her new girlfriend. It was strange to think of their relationship as such, but they were now dating.
“Little girl, you’re a mess sometimes, too. Come on. I always eat before going to work. There are days when I have to skip lunch. I can’t afford to go without eating like you.”
“What are you, my mother? I mean,” Rachael smiled. “I don’t really mind. We’re going to have to discuss this mommy dom thing, though.” Rachael sounded slightly annoyed, but she didn’t mean it that way. Penny had gleaned enough from their past conversations to know that she wasn’t truly annoyed deep down. The annoyed sound was just habit, from previous social interactions. They both knew that Rachael wanted a more dominant care giver in her life. They would have to experiment to understand the full depth of what that kind of relationship would entail, but they both knew that Rachael appreciated the structure. Penny wanted that too. She didn’t want an ever present domineering figure over her, but there was a need for a more permanent person in her life with a similar role as Veronica. At the bare minimum, they could be equals, balancing each other out if someone’s behavior started to veer too erratic. They both yearned for stability.
“While we go get breakfast, I want to talk about that.”
They got their purses and left Rachael’s house.
“I know it’s not super healthy, but how about McDonalds? You need some kind of food in your belly in the morning. I can’t go without it.”
As they got in the car, Rachael smiled again. Penny was helping her mood tremendously. Usually, waking up in a wet diaper ruined most of her day. Today was different. Today, a wet morning diaper barely had any emotional weight to it. Penny seemed to be effortlessly lifting her spirits.
“McDonalds is okay, I guess. It’ll probably go straight to my thighs, but oh well.”
“That’s the spirit, Rachael. My family always told me that food was the best way to make someone happy.”
“Do they have pancakes there? I want pancakes.”
“Yes, they do. They’re not perfect, but pancakes are pancakes. My abuela makes really good pancakes. We should visit them sometime, so you can meet everyone. We’ve known each other for 5 years and they really want to see you. Especially since we’re dating now.”
“So you’re out to them already?”
“Oh, yeah. Abuela knew I liked girls since I was in Junior High. Abuela knows. She just always knows.”
“Okay. Here we are. How much does a little girl like you eat, anyway?”
“Maybe I’ll just get an orange juice.” Rachael felt nauseated. She didn’t want to eat.
“Nope. Sorry. I know you’re hungry. You need to eat something. I’ll get you the big breakfast.”
Penny ordered 2 big breakfast meals. They came with almost every option you could eat for breakfast; sausage, pancakes, eggs, and hashbrowns. Penny pulled into an empty parking space and handed Rachael her food. Rachael took it and stared at it.
“You need to eat, sweetheart. Do you have an eating disorder or something?”
“No. I don’t think so.” Rachael sighed.
“Then you should eat. Please?” Penny started to eat her food, eggs first. She hoped the smell would entice Rachael to eat.
Rachael forced herself to take a bite of the hashbrown. It was packaged separately and was the easiest to get to. Never before had food given her joy. There was a level of satisfaction that she had never experienced from just eating before. Rachael chuckled. It wasn’t a chuckle because something was funny. When she learned something new, a deep happiness would rise from inside of her, coming out as a chuckle. Today, she finally learned what so many people meant when they said that the food was good. She finally felt the sheer joy that food brought to some people.
Hungrily, she ate her food, faster and faster. Penny looked on in amazement. It seemed like every bite was bringing more happiness back to Rachael. I need to make sure this girl stays fed. She does not do well on an empty stomach.
“Goodness. Were you hungry?” Penny laughed. “It seems like you were hangry this morning.”
With a mouthful of food, Rachael replied “Iz reeeally good.” Moments later, her food was gone. Rachael sighed, satisfied. “I’m sorry I was such a grump this morning.” She blotted a syrup drip off her top. “I was very hangry. I have a hard time realizing when I’m hungry sometimes. I don’t think I have hunger cues like other people get. The only way I know I’m hungry is if I feel sick to my stomach, or if it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner time.
     “That sucks. I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay. Now I’m ready to go to work.” Rachael burped. “Excuse me!”
They both laughed as Penny drove them to work. When they arrived and walked inside, the receptionist greeted them.
“Mr. Pendleton wanted to see you two when you got here. He says it’s urgent.”
“Oh?” Penny was curious. The CEO of Imagine Innovations rarely asked for someone indirectly. He usually asked directly or sent an email to do so. Whatever was needed, it must have been too urgent for him to take the time to use his normal method.
     “He’s in his office.”
     “Okay. Thank you.”
Penny and Rachael walked toward Mr. Pendleton’s office in the back of the building.
“I wonder what this is about, Penny?” Rachael sounded a little nervous. She worried about having lackluster performance after moving here. Her pessimism seemed to grow as they got closer. Rachael wondered if they might consider firing her. Maybe there were layoffs that needed to happen.
“I don’t know, Rachael. It’s odd that he would call us in like this. Something weird is going on.”
They got to his office and his door was closed, as it usually was. He was rarely open to people just walking in. Penny knocked. He could be seen through the front glass wall of his office. He was on the phone with someone else and gestured for them to wait while he finished the call. Shortly after, Robert and another woman arrived.
"Hey, Robert. Good Morning." Penny shook his hand.
    "Good morning, Penny. Rachael."
    "Good morning."
"I don't recognize you. What's your name?" Penny shook hands with the woman.
"Min-seo Kim. You can call me Kim." She spoke her name with a Korean accent, but her English had no accent at all. Rachael thought she must be bilingual.
     "Nice to meet you, Kim."
     "Nice to meet you."
"Is it normal for new hires to meet the CEO" Kim asked.
"No." Penny said. "This is all weird."
     The door opened.
     "Come on in, everybody."
The group gathered in his office. It was surprisingly cramped for a CEO's office, but that's how they knew he preferred his accommodations. Everyone took a seat in the 4 chairs that lined the front and side of the office.
"I bet you're wondering why I've gathered you here today."
He pulled 4 manila folders from a desk drawer and handed one to everyone.
"I'm sure it seems odd that I've selected 2 of my most experienced staff and 2 of my least experienced staff. Well, I didn't pick any of you based on seniority. Penny, you have mechanical experience, as well as management experience. Rachael, you have a mind for mathematics and numbers. Robert, medical experience and problem solving skills. Kim, you have networking, programming and abstract thinking skills. Together, you’re an unstoppable team. That’s really good for Imagine Innovations. We’re on the verge of a major breakthrough. The problem you have to solve is one that’s stumping mechanical and computer engineers alike. We have a computer that needs to be started, and it seems we need help turning it on. Penny, I want you to take a van down to Buckley Air Force Base. The badge in your folder has access and clearance for all of you. I expect results in one week. Any questions? No. Good. Away you go to the garage.”
With that short speech, Mr. Pendleton stood up, handed Penny a van key and gestured out of his office. This move was even more to-the-point than normal for this CEO. Everyone could tell he had an unmatched level of interest in this project. A project that none of them had known about before. While not unheard of, a project that was being tested at a secure location in an air force base was rare.
As the four walked out to the garage, Penny took charge of the group and volunteered herself to drive.
“Does anybody need anything before we go? Except the front seat. I’m driving and my girlfriend gets shotgun.” Penny said to the group.
Everyone was good with what they brought. Everyone was caught before setting anything down at their work area, so they all had what they needed already.
“Oh, you’re dating. That’s cool. I can surrender the front seat. No problem.” Robert was excited to be out of the office. Having a desk job again felt constraining after working a job requiring physical labor.
“No kissy face, you two.” Kim said, chuckling.
“No kissy face. I promise, Kim.” Penny replied.
The group got into the van and settled in. It was about a thirty minute drive, so everyone would have a chance to discuss what just happened. 4 co-workers had just been tasked with a major and secretive project that they knew nothing about. Not only would they have to solve a difficult task, but they lacked specific knowledge that may help them in the situation. At any rate, they knew a difficult challenge lay ahead.

No Strings Attached, Part 2 (Willaska, Bitney) - Albatross, Veronica
AN: New life, new university, new friends…what more could Alaska ask for? Following the end of her relationship with Jinkx, Alaska has decided to pack up and move to a new college…on the other side of the country. Nothing like a bit of space to get over a break up, right? As she settles in for her new life, Alaska must navigate her new surroundings and of course, her new roommates with some very strong personalities of their own. A collab with the amazing @veronicasanders.
It was just before 9 when Alaska finally managed to roll herself out of bed and stumble towards the kitchen. She might’ve slept longer if it hadn’t been for the most annoying bird chirping outside her window and the tantalizing scent of coffee tempting her into leaving her nice, warm blankets. She didn’t even pause at the bathroom first, just made her way straight into the kitchen in search of something to help her feel a little more awake and friendly.
Courtney was the first to notice her, sending a bright, beaming smile her way as she buttered a small stack of toast. “Good morning!” she greeted, “Are you feeling any better?”
A nod was all Alaska could think to give right now. Her sleep-addled mind was still struggling to make proper words.
“Want some smoothie?” Courtney offered as Alaska pulled out a seat at the kitchen’s island.
Bianca was quick to spin away from her pan of sizzling eggs in order to cut in with, “No one wants your gross smoothie!” Then zeroing in on Alaska, she warned, “Beware, Alaska. I saw her put dates in that thing.”
“Shut up!” Courtney laughed, “Dates make it sweet.”
“You know what else would make it sweet? Sugar.”
“Yes, cupcake?” Courtney simpered, fluttering her lashes.
God, this is disgusting, Alaska thought, rubbing away the sleep from her eyes. I stumbled into a fucking Rom-com.
“Is there coffee?” she inquired tiredly, “I thought I smelled coffee.”
“Yeah, help yourself.” Bianca gestured to a French press, then asked, “Do you want some eggs?”
Shaking her head politely, she replied, “No thanks,” and reached over to help herself to the steamy coffee.
With a nod, Bianca scraped two healthy portions onto the awaiting plates and sat down at the island with the others. She pushed one of the servings in front of Courtney.
“Thank you,” she chirped, passing Bianca some toast and licking the butter knife clean in the process.
“That’s disgusting,” Bianca said with an amused chuckle.
Courtney giggled along, offering her a little shrug and a flutter of lashes, “I like to lick things.”
“Where’s Willam? Still asleep?” Alaska had definitely pegged her as the type to stay in bed all day. But at the moment, she would have welcomed anyone else in the room to distract from the sickeningly obvious flirting going on.
“No, she’s at the gym. Gotta keep it tight for her clients,” Courtney said, then when both Bianca and Alaska’s heads snapped up, realized that she’d probably made a serious faux pas, eyes widening. Trailing off, she mumbled, “Uh…I mean…”
“…‘Clients?’” Bianca repeated. Even Alaska felt herself snapping into a hyper-aware state as soon as she heard the word.
“Well…” Courtney trailed off with an uneasy smile.
“Courtney. Are we sharing an apartment with a hooker?!” Bianca pointed a fork at her.
“No!” she reassured her roommates, “No, not a hooker. She’s like…”
“Yeah?” Alaska found herself deeply curious, in spite of her usual desire to stay away from gossip.
“I’m not sure I should say. I mean, it’s not like a secret, but I just don’t feel like it’s my place to-“
“Well too late, bitch,” Bianca argued, “You brought it up. Now you have to tell us.”
“It’s not a big deal,” Courtney asserted. “She just like…video chats with guys and they buy her stuff.”
“So she’s a cam girl?” Bianca clarified, her tone sounding far from excited now.
Scratching the back of her head, Courtney replied with an unsure, “Um. Yeah?”
“Oh.”
Bianca shrugged and nonchalantly went back to her breakfast, but Alaska found her stomach twisting a bit. She didn’t really understand the intricacies of what Courtney described, but part of her worried about whether Willam was careful enough, safe enough. She shook her head slightly, taking a long sip of her coffee. Why was she fretting so much? Who was she, Willam’s mother? And then another thought, immediately shoved down before it had a chance to take root: Does she have a website?
Nope. She was not going to think about that. It was none of her business, she told herself. Any curiosity was simply because she never met a cam girl before.
And she left it as that, tuning into whatever Courtney and Bianca decided to discuss now.
When Willam returned from the gym, Courtney ran to the door to confess her slip up. “I’m so sorry, Bill,” she pouted. “I didn’t mean to spill, but it just came out. Are you mad?”
“Nah. I don’t give a fuck.” Willam flopped down on the sofa, skimpy workout clothes sticking to her, hair piled atop her head in a messy bun.
Alaska’s lips curled slightly into a disgusted frown. Who doesn’t shower immediately after working out? And now she was sitting on the sofa, getting her sweat all over the shared furniture? Gross , Alaska thought, pulse quickening as a strange feeling crept into her chest.
Willam turned her head towards Alaska and gave her a sympathetic smile. “How you doin’, tiger? Feeling better today?”
“Mmhmm.” Alaska swallowed, feeling an uncomfortable heat creeping into her face.
“Awesome. Maybe you can come with us to the mall, then,” Willam added with a coy tilt of her head.
“Sure,” Alaska smiled at her, praying that the heat in her cheeks wasn’t visible to the others, hoping to deflect by adding drily, “Maybe you can shower first.”
“Ha! Well, look who’s out of her shell,” Willam laughed, standing up and whipping her top off, tossing Alaska a wink in the process. “I guess I’ll head to the shower, then.”
Alaska averted her eyes as Willam continued to shed her clothes, trying not to think about her perfectly toned body, how you could bounce a fucking quarter off her ass. Also how did she have no tan lines? Alaska cleared her throat and looked at the ceiling.
By the way Courtney didn’t even bat an eye, Alaska would be willing to guess that this was pretty normal behavior. Great. Just fucking great.
******
Willam was surprisingly happy with her roommate situation. Bianca was a bit of a bitch, but at least she was funny, and Alaska seemed pretty chill, a perfect counterbalance to Courtney’s boundless energy. They were both major improvements over last year’s wet blankets. Not to mention neither of them was particularly bad to look at. That was always a plus.
The mall closest to the campus was incredibly different than the ones Willam was used to on the East Coast. A big outdoor courtyard surrounded by flowers and cute, little shops, not to mention impressive department stores on either side. She breathed in, happy to be back in California, to feel the sunshine - warm without any oppressive humidity, imagining what her life might be someday. If she ever graduated from school. But that was a problem for another day, she decided.
It wasn’t long into her trip before Courtney spotted the See’s Candy and let out a giddy squeal, “Bill, come on, let’s get samples!”
Willam rolled her eyes as Courtney dragged towards the shop. She’d just spent 2 hours at the gym that morning! There was no way she was gonna blow that hard work on candy. Courtney, who had the metabolism of a hummingbird, never understood how disciplined she needed to be.
“My ex girlfriend was obsessed with that place. She never shut up about it,” Alaska sighed. Her heart had clenched the moment she recognized the sign and before she knew it, she was wistfully mentioning her ex. She’d been so open about it at her last school but now with all of her roommates’ eyes on her, she realized that perhaps this might not be such welcomed information.
Courtney had stopped dead in her tracks to round on Alaska with wide, curious eyes. Bianca had arched a brow at her, one of surprise, she hoped, and not judgement. But then there Willam. By the time Alaska’s gaze met hers, her cheeks were filling with a deep pink. Willam’s reaction was the most difficult to decipher. Her expression seemed blank at first but her eyes betrayed her. Willam’s focus was now solely zeroed in on Alaska, studying her, watching any reaction she might make. It left Alaska feeling anxious and uncertain.
But as she stood like a deer in headlights, Courtney broke out into a warm, toothy grin as she blurted out (quite loudly), “Don’t worry, Bianca’s gay too! And Willam’s bi!” before biting her lip self-consciously, realizing that everyone was now looking at her with varying levels of amusement and irritation.
“Foot in Mouth Disease strikes again,” Willam sighed as she shook her head. “Anything else you want to share with the other mallgoers, Court? Maybe inform them of my ass waxing schedule?”
Hand on her hip, Bianca piled on with, “You wanna call my grandma, come out for me? I don’t think she knows yet.”
“I thought…” Courtney looked from Willam to Bianca, stammering out. “I mean, yesterday you said that you-I just thought it would be better if she knew…shit…”
Bianca broke first, taking pity on her with a cackling laugh and slipping an arm around Courtney’s shoulders. “She already knew, dollface,” she assured her, adding in a wink, “She’s seen us at the Gay Agenda meetings.”
“Ha ha,” Courtney retorted, rolling her eyes and folding her arms, but leaning against Bianca in the process.
“Well, I’d invite you, but I’m not sure you’re ready for the initiation ceremony…” Bianca teased. Alaska had just enough time to catch a hint of a smile curling at the edges of Courtney’s lips before she spun around and strolled off towards the candy shop with Bianca following close behind.
“And your grandma totally knows, by the way,” Willam called after her.
Bianca turned back with a smirk, flipping Willam off and holding the door. “You guys coming in?” she asked.
“Um…no thanks,” Alaska answered softly, twirling a lock of hair in her fingers. Any appetite she might have had suddenly left her and all she wanted was to sit down, if only for a moment.
Willam hesitated a moment, sparing a glance down to Alaska before replying, “You know, I’ll wait outside with Alaska. I shouldn’t eat sugar anyway.”
“Suit yourself,” Bianca muttered, letting the door swing shut behind her as a pleased grin settled on her lips.
Willam had to scoff. She recognized the signs already, even if Courtney was oblivious. “Poor Bianca. Really barking up the wrong tree there, eh?,” Willam said, turning to Alaska with a wicked grin. When the only reaction was a half-hearted chuckle, she asked, “Are you alright?”
“Yeah, sorry. I’m just…” Alaska trailed off, sitting down quickly at one of the benches. She turned her face from the crowd up to the sky, expression blank and distant. “I don’t know. Maybe I’m still jet-lagged or something. It just feels weird.”
There was a burning at the corners of her eyes but a few blinks and it was gone. Her heart however felt heavy and dull.
Willam settled down next to her and watched her closely. She didn’t speak for a while, running things over in her mind and seemed to be considering her words carefully. Which, from what Alaska could tell, was slightly out of character.
“Weird how?” Willam finally asked, tilting her head to the side. Her voice was calm and inviting but not pressuring. It was nice actually.
Picking at her nails, Alaska shrugged before replying with an uncertain, “Um…I guess I just need a little time to adjust.” A sigh escaped her as she added in hopefully, “I’m sure it’ll be easier once classes start.”
“Well…” Willam searched for something comforting to say, coming up woefully short. “You know, uh…”
“It’s really fine,” Alaska cut in with an apologetic smile. “Sorry I’m being so pathetic, I didn’t mean to drag you down.”
“You’re not pathetic!” Willam exclaimed. “I mean…maybe a little.”
A surprised laugh escaped from Alaska’s chest, immediately making Willam feel pleased with herself.
“I can see your potential though,” she continued. “So…I hope you feel better.”
“Thanks.” Alaska leaned back, pulling off her sunglasses. “I guess it’s mostly because-” she suddenly stopped abruptly, sitting up straight, as Courtney and Bianca burst from the candy store.
“What do you guys wanna do for lunch?” Courtney chirped, skipping over. “There’s that awesome bakery over by the movie theatre. They have tons of specials.”
“You’re still hungry?” Bianca laughed in amazement, “You just ate 3 pounds of chocolate!”
Waving them aside, Willam said, “You go ahead, we’ll catch up.”
Courtney looked from Willam to Alaska, head tilting, asking in concern, “Are you okay? Are you sick? Do you want to go home?”
“She’s fine,” Willam cut in, feeling oddly protective. “She’s just telling me about a recurring fantasy she’s having…of strangling you in your sleep.”
Bianca barked out a laugh. “Who hasn’t had that one!”
“I know, very relatable,” Willam said, and Courtney blew a raspberry.
“Fuck you all, cunts!” She turned on her heel and began walking in the opposite direction, dragging Bianca behind her.
Once they were far enough out of range, Willam turned back to Alaska, who was shaking her head with a smirk.
“You’re a bully,” Alaska accused, no bite to her tone.
“Am not!”
Alaska raised an eyebrow.
“Courtney’s impossible to bully,” Willam reasoned, “She thinks everything is hilarious…And anyway, I was bullied enough growing up, so now it’s my turn.” Willam finished decisively, sitting back.
Alaska seemed shocked by this news. Incredulous, she asked, “You were bullied? For what? And who would dare?”
“Well…maybe I made jokes about myself before anyone else had the chance.” Willam stated, crossing her arms and legs tightly. She glanced at Alaska from the corner of her eye and admitted quietly, “I was really fat.”
“Is that all?” Alaska raised an eyebrow.
“Hey, being fat sucks. Fat and loud. I doubt you’d understand, Prom Queen.” She was starting to get agitated but something compelled her not to cut the conversation off just yet. And soon enough she was rewarded with a loud, obnoxious laugh from Alaska.
“That is…so very wrong.”
Willam shrugged her shoulders as best she could, muttering, “Come on, you’re sweet and…I mean look at you. You must have been popular.”
Alaska twisted a lock of hair in her fingers, a slight blush coloring her cheeks as she looked to the ground. “Actually, I was the gay weirdo in a class of 45 people.”
“Yikes. Really?”
“Yeah. So…you know, when I first got to college, it was like, this giant relief. But then…” she trailed off. Willam understood where she was going.
“Listen,” she said abruptly,  “I’m not gonna go all Oprah on you and ask a million questions. That’s Courtney’s thing.”
“Yeah, I noticed.” A smile tugged at the corners of Alaska’s mouth.
“But if you do want to talk, I do have ears.”
“Thanks.” After a pause, Alaska looked up into Willam’s questioning face and asked, “…you mean now?”
Willam gave a casual wave of her hand, one Alaska assumed was giving her the approval to proceed with bitching about her ex. The trouble was, where to even begin?
“Well, I…” Alaska started, then trailed off to bite her lip as she thought things through.
“You don’t have to, bro. It’s okay.”
“No, I know,” Alaska said. “It’s just that it’s all…a little jumbled. I don’t know. Like, I met Jinkx at orientation. Literally the first day.”
“Jinkx? That’s a name?”
“Do you really think that the two of us should be judging someone’s name? Besides, for her it was just a nickname, unlike us.”
“Fair point. Go on…” Willam laughed.
“So we like…we hooked up that first day, and then just…did everything together. And for a while, it was perfect. We cared about each other so much, and for the first time in my life, I felt like I could just relax and be myself. It was this awesome little baby lesbian bubble. I forgot all about high school, the homophobic little shits I grew up with…”
“Sounds nice,” Willam chuckled, giving her a lopsided smile.
“Yeah, it was. At first. And then like, things got totally intense. It wasn’t really anyone’s fault. It was just like, there were so many feelings, all the time , especially after we moved in together the second year. We were always fighting and crying and like…we just realized, there was just no recovering, as much as we loved each other. We weren’t coming back from it.”
Alaska paused for a moment, picking at her nails again. Willam was tempted to reach over, if only to stop her from destroying her nail beds, but ultimately restrained herself. Instead, her own fingers tapped against her knee as she waited for Alaska to collect herself and continue.
The air between them was loaded but after a minute of searching for the right words, Alaska resumed her story, “And then after awhile, I realized that I didn’t even have my own life. My own anything. I didn’t have any friends except our friends. So I just…I guess, found it easier to cut my losses and never go back there then to deal with it.”
Willam gave her another half smile, then asked, “Do you regret it? Coming here, I mean.”
“Um…no. Maybe. I don’t know yet,” Alaska admitted. “Ask me in a few months.”
“Will do.”
“Anyway…” Alaska sighed. “Sorry about that. And thanks.”
“Anytime.”
“Careful, I might take you up on that,” Alaska warned.
“Good,” Willam said decisively.
Alaska looked down, a smile pressed between her lips. She felt better.
It still hurt but in a new way. It was still raw and emotional but it just didn’t seem as endless as it had before. She couldn’t really explain it, just knew that she liked this change.
“Wanna go find the other whores?” Willam asked softly.
“Sure…in a few minutes,” Alaska replied, staring back up at the sky.
Willam nodded, silently and awkwardly patting Alaska on the shoulder and then leaning her head back to stare up into the same cloudless space.
******
“Fucking Christ, where are they?” Willam wondered, looking around the cafe for what felt like the 18th time.
“I dunno…” Alaska drawled out. Anxiously drumming her fingers against her thigh, she asked “Are you sure this is the place Courtney meant?”
“Yeah, I’m sure.” She marched back outside, spotting Courtney and Bianca strolling at a leisurely pace through the courtyard. “Hey! What the fuck?”
Courtney waved happily, oblivious to Willam’s annoyance, still chatting away with Bianca, and Willam scoffed. She placed her hands on her hips, tapping her foot impatiently.
“Sorry about that, back there…” Alaska said as soon as Courtney was within earshot.
In response, Courtney just gave her a warm smile and replied sincerely, “It’s fine. I hope you’re okay.” She reached out and squeezed Alaska’s hand, and thankfully didn’t ask any more questions. A small pang of guilt made Alaska wish that she hadn’t spent so much energy judging her in the beginning…or any of her roommates for that matter.
“Did you at least have some fun?” Alaska questioned.
“Yeah,” Courtney’s smile brightened as she glanced over at Bianca. “B made an…interesting purchase.”
Bianca gave her a wicked smirk and held a finger to her lips. Although mildly curious, Alaska decided not to pry. After all, Courtney didn’t try to force any explanation out of Alaska, so it was only fair she returned the favor.
“I’m sure I don’t even want to know,” Willam said, shaking her head.
“Come on, let’s go get some food,” Alaska suggested in a joyful giggle.
******
Once they’d put in their orders, Alaska followed Willam outside to choose a table, mildly amused at how picky she actually was. It had to be in the sun, but not too sunny, with a view of the fountain but not the parking lot. Once she was finally satisfied, Willam plopped herself into one of the cushioned wicker chairs decisively.
“Are you sure this table meets all of your requirements, your highness?” Bianca asked, watching with an air of restlessness as Willam made herself comfortable.
“I know what I like,” Willam commented with a shrug, sipping her iced tea calmly.
“Don’t days like this just make you happy to be alive?” asked Courtney, settling down beside Willam with a contented sigh.
“Alright, Miss America,” Bianca said with an eye roll.
Courtney stuck out her tongue, then added, “I did actually win a pageant, once.”
“We know, we know, Miss Tater Tot-” Willam said, before Courtney interrupted her with a shrieking giggle.
“No, Miss Tiny Tot! I was 5. I won a car.”
“What the fuck is a 5 year old supposed to do with a car?” Bianca nearly yelled in disbelief.
“I would love to meet Miss Tater Tot,” Alaska mused. A lazy smile appeared on her lips as she added in, “She sounds delicious.”
“And crispy,” Bianca agreed.
“Eh, I’m off carbs,” said Willam.
Courtney rested her face in her hands, looking around at all of the girls with a hopeful, dreamy smile on her face. She took a deep breath, then before she could speak, Willam cut her off.
“Oh no,” she groaned, looking at Courtney with dread in her eyes.
“What?”
“I know that fucking look. You’re about to get all…Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants on us, aren’t you?” Willam accused.
“No! I was just gonna say-”
“Something lame and cheesy about best friends forever?” she mocked.
Courtney crossed her arms and countered, “-that I’m glad we’re all getting to know each other…and I have a really good feeling about this year.” She looked at Willam pointedly. “Was that acceptable, boss?”
“…barely. You’re on thin ice.” Willam teased, snatching Courtney’s lemonade to take a sip.
Courtney’s face scrunched up into a pout, and Alaska decided to come to her defense. After all, it was a beautiful day and these girls were going to be her roommates for the year, so she ought to at least make an effort. And as funny as the constant shade might be, she appreciated Courtney’s attempt at sincerity. Especially in this group, where she knew that she’d most likely get mocked for it.
“I think it was great, Courtney.” She raised her cup. “Here’s to the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.”
“More like the Golden Girls,” Bianca said drily, and Alaska squealed happily. She absolutely adored that comparison more than words could describe.
“Speak for yourself, you old cunt,” Willam laughed.
“Omigod, I love that show,” Alaska cut in, barely containing her glee.
“What show?” asked Courtney, confused.
“Golden Girls!”
“I’ve never heard of it.” Courtney shook her head, still puzzled.
Alaska tried to keep her mouth from gaping open as she leaned back in her chair. An excuse to watch her favorite TV show, with someone who’s never witnessed the magic before? This had suddenly turned into the best day in a long time. Already thoughts of how to create the perfect viewing party were running wild through her head.
“Well, I know what we’re doing tonight,” she declared with a happy, decisive smile.
“Is it even streaming anywhere?” Bianca wondered.
“Doesn’t matter. I have all 7 seasons on DVD,” Alaska proclaimed, adding a tongue pop for emphasis.
“We don’t have a DVD player…” Willam pretended to look disappointed. Of all the things she wanted to do tonight, a Golden Girls marathon was certainly not one of them.
“We’re at a mall. It’s happening. Also we need to buy cheesecake.”
Courtney clasped her hands to her chest and asked, “Can we all get in our jammies and make popcorn and have a real slumber party?”
“Yes!” Alaska answered, pointing at her.
The pair shared an enthusiastic grin with one another, already feeling their excitement building up to the point of pure joy. “Dear god,” Bianca muttered, looking horrified as she glanced from one beaming girl to the other.
Willam leaned in towards Bianca and said in a loud stage whisper, “It’s not too late to kill them both, you know.”
Bianca laughed and toasted her, but Alaska merely leaned her head on Courtney’s shoulder and sighed happily. Maybe this would be a good year after all.
*******
The first two weeks of classes sped by without incident. It all felt like a blissful daze for Willam, aside from the unfortunate interruptions of homework, that is. But it was still early in the semester and the expectations weren’t too high yet. She could go out and have fun without worrying about some paper or assignment looming over her head…at least for now. So in the meantime, she was dividing her extra time between her roommates, her social life, and, of course her, her side job.
She had a good balance going, she thought.
Tonight however was reserved just for her roommates, complete with plans to veg out in front of the TV, eat takeout (using up one of the rare cheat meals she allowed herself), and watch some horrible B-list movies or maybe just start a new series on Netflix. Either way, it all sounded wonderfully relaxing. The perfect way to close out the week.
They were in the midst of chatting about classes and eating dinner when Alaska’s phone began to buzz. Her previously giddy expression quickly morphed into one of apprehension. Willam’s attention was immediately on her.
She had an idea, even without looking at the phone, as to who could possibly warrant such a change in Alaska’s mood. While Courtney and Bianca chatted away, oblivious to the world for the time being, Willam gave Alaska a small nudge and asked softly, “Jinkx?”
“Um, yeah,” came the quiet confirmation. Alaska was looking at the screen with an air of distrust, “No idea why she’s calling.”
“Pick it up,” Willam suggested with a shrug. “Find out.”
Alaska gave a murmur of discontent, clearly unsure of herself or what she ought to do.
In the end, she let the buzzing go on for another three rounds before snatching the phone up and answering it with a rushed, “Hey, sorry, was just eating. What’s up?”
Her voice was quiet and withdrawn from the start. As Jinkx spoke, Alaska began chewing the interior of her lip, listening intently to whatever was being said. Already Willam was having second thoughts about encouraging her to accept the call.
“Um, yeah, just…Hold on. I’m gonna go into another room,” Alaska replied into the phone, speeding off to her bedroom without even another glance at her roommates.
Yeah, Willam thought to herself, this was a bad idea.
But there was nothing to do now aside from waiting for Alaska to finish her call. All she hoped was that she wouldn’t be too upset when she came back out. But something about the twisting in the pit of Willam’s stomach told her that’d be a long shot. Just look at how dejected Alaska had been at the mall with just the thought of Jinkx. Never mind actually talking to her.
Willam was prepared to offer some consolation once Alaska reemerged and kept a cautious eye on her closed door. She expected Alaska to come out after a few minutes or for the low chattering to stop but every time there was a lull in the noise filtering from Alaska’s bedroom, within a minute it would just start back up again. It left Willam feeling curious and a bit anxious.
Even after 20 minutes and their dinners finished, Alaska still had not come back out. By now Bianca and Courtney had noticed her absence and asked Willam about it.
“Got a call from her ex. Went in there to talk to her.” Her voice sounded weird to her ears. There was some kind of tone to it that she didn’t recognize…bitterness? Not quite right but close.
Courtney stared at the closed door for a few moments, almost as if she too were trying to will Alaska into reappearing. But as Bianca cleaned up the dishes and set them in the sink, it became apparent that Alaska was not coming out anytime soon.
“Think she’s okay in there?” Courtney asked in concern.
“She’s a big girl, she can handle herself,” Bianca reminded her. A short burst of laughter echoed from the bedroom. Definitely not the sound of someone having a horrible conversation. “Seems like she’d doing just fine.”
With that, Bianca unanimously decided that they were going to continue on with their girls’ night. Alaska could join in whenever she was finished, she figured. Courtney was all too eager to help Bianca pick out what to watch, arguing passionately about the merits of whatever horribly depressing documentary she suggested. Bianca kept up the debate, ultimately winning as she had already claimed the remote, and settling down on the couch with a triumphant grin. Courtney pouted of course, but only 10 minutes in and she was lazily leaning against Bianca and watching whatever program with her in contented silence.
Both let their attention become consumed by the show but try as she might, Willam just couldn’t get into it like they were. She told herself it was just because of the consistent drone of Alaska’s muffled conversation and fits of laughter that kept distracting her. It was hard to pay attention when there was some kind of irritating background noise, right?
Hours went by with Willam feeling even more restless than she could remember. She made frequent trips to the kitchen, using any excuse she could think of to just get out of her seat and move. All this resulted in her drinking a massive amount of water and wine. Eventually, she found herself needing to use the bathroom but as she passed by a certain bedroom door, she discovered she was able to hear Alaska’s conversation almost perfectly.
“Yeah, it’s been…it was weird coming out here. I wanted a change, you know? Just to get away from everything.”
There was a pause as Jinkx replied with something.
“No, I like it out here, I really do…Yeah…It’s nice. You’d like it, too, I think.”
Alaska’s voice was contemplative and sentimental. She meant the words, Willam could tell, but there was more to it that she wasn’t saying. Willam wondered what until Alaska continued on with, “I miss you, too. All of you, but you…I miss being able to see you, you know?”
A long, muffled response from Jinkx. One Willam ached to hear.
“Right. No, I get that, really…Just-through a screen isn’t really the same, is it?”
What? Were they facetiming now?
Ugh, whatever, Willam decided, storming into the bathroom.
She was done eavesdropping. She was going to join Bianca and Courtney for Girls’ Night, even if some others weren’t, and she was going to have a good time…even if it killed her.
******
“Good talk?” Willam asked once Alaska finally re-emerged from the bedroom and settled in on the empty space on the couch.
“Yeah,” she confirmed with a pleased, blissful smile, “Really good.”
Willam nodded and left the conversation at that. To anyone else in the room it might have looked like she was intensely focused on the drama playing out on the screen but in truth her mind felt a million miles away. Countless thoughts and questions raced through her mind. Most of them centered around wondering just what the hell came out of Alaska and Jinkx’s conversation.
It sounded almost like Alaska was getting ready to invite her out here but she wouldn’t…right?
It was literally across the country and both of them have schoolwork to consider. There’s just no way Alaska would ask her to come all the way out to California. But…she wasn’t thinking of going back either, was she?
The thought of that had Willam feeling conflicted and peevish. She knew she was working herself into a bad mood over probably nothing but she just couldn’t stop herself from overthinking. She actually kind of liked having Alaska as a roommate- Bianca, too- and didn’t want that to change. It was already so comfortable and easy…why would she want to mess that up? She and Jinkx already broke up once, why go through it a second time?
As Willam’s thoughts began to run wild down that path, she had to remind herself that she hadn’t heard Alaska say that she is or even wants to get back together with Jinkx…so she shouldn’t worry about it, right? It wasn’t even any of her business.
But even that reminder couldn’t shake the burning questions she still had about the call. In the end, Willam spent most of the Girls’ Night in a mulish silence. Courtney and Alaska tried to pull her out of it but Willam was not so easily convinced, so they left her alone…for the most part.
As the quartet cleaned up for the night, Alaska pulled Willam aside to ask, “Hey, you alright? You haven’t really said much tonight.”
“Not that you were here to notice,” Willam muttered.
Alaska cocked her head to the side, as if confused, then suddenly it hit her. “Oh,” she murmured guilty, “Yeah, we were talking for a while, weren’t we?” Willam rolled her eyes. “Sorry, we just…had a lot to catch up on. I promise, next Girls Night, I’m all yours.”
Despite herself, Willam perked up at that thought. “‘Next’?” she repeated, a teasing smirk beginning to appear on her lips.
Nudging Willam’s side with her elbow, Alaska beamed back, “Yes, ‘next’. We are going to keep having these for the rest of the year, right?”
“Yeah,” Willam agreed. Suddenly she felt a good bit lighter. “Until I find some guy to fuck. Then you bitches are on your own.”
Alaska’s laugh was loud and braying, enough that Courtney and Bianca turned around to see what was so funny. Neither Willam or Alaska was willing to enlighten them, something about it made them feel disinclined to share. Though each knew it was a hollow threat, neither commented on the fact and let the conversation drop there. Going to bed that night, Willam had to admit, although there were some things she really needed to work out, and soon, she was still pretty grateful for the roommates she got this year. Her only hope was that things would stay this good, at least until the end of spring semester.

Chapter Five: Sunrise
Betty’s just finished buckling the strap of her heels when a knock sounds on their bedroom door. Veronica is FaceTiming Cheryl and Toni, showing them the Swarovski crystals that are delicately sewn into the elaborate neckline of her gown.
Betty opens their bedroom door and tilts her head knowingly when she sees Archie standing there, already dressed in his favorite classic black-and-white tuxedo. “Can I help you, Archie?”
“Is Ronnie in there?” He’s wringing his hands nervously in front of him, though his smile is relaxed and Betty nods.
“Veronica, you have a visitor!”
Veronica makes her way over, waving at Toni and Cheryl before handing the phone to Betty. Her mouth parts when she sees Archie standing here, but her expression is nothing compared to his. His eyes are wide as he takes in her deep red satin gown and elegant chignon. If her life was a cartoon, Betty’s sure his heart would be physically beating out of his chest.
Betty leaves them, knowing Archie is asking her to the soiree, and it makes her heart swell with happiness for them. She’s glad that, despite the miscommunications and her lack of awareness about her own feelings, they found each other.
“Betty dearest, you’re sparkling.”
Cheryl’s voice interrupts her train of thought and Betty turns her attention to the phone screen. “Oh yes! Do you like?”
She moves the phone screen down so that her friends can see her full look. A form-fitting rose-gold glitter gown with a thigh high slit she normally would never have been brave enough to try on let alone buy (though she’d gone shopping with Veronica and that should be explanation enough) adorns her body.
Her hair falls in waves that compliment her face and the dark maroon color painted on her lips makes her feel somewhat like a movie star.
While Cheryl and Toni toss compliments at her like they’re confetti, she can’t help but hope that a certain someone is also blown away by this look.
“Well, I’ve got to go check on mother, kisses to you Betty. Have a wonderful time!” Cheryl blows a few kisses and makes her way upstairs, leaving Betty with Toni.
“Cooper,” Toni starts and Betty arches an eyebrow at her best friends’ girlfriend, who has also become one of her closest friends. “Something’s got you distracted, or should I say someone?”
“Oh no,” Betty shakes her head quickly, moving into the bathroom in case Archie can hear her over his and Veronica’s excited giggles. “I’m just excited for the soiree, Toni, I promise.”
Toni smiles at her knowingly through the screen, flipping her hair over her shoulder. “As long as this soiree is nice to you and good-looking, I’m excited for you too.”
Betty rolls her eyes, but the grin on her face is undeniable.
-------------
Archie escorts them both down the stairs and their parents gush over them like it’s their first prom. She smiles her brightest Cooper-esque smile, although her eyes are trained on the staircase as though he’ll suddenly appear on the steps at any moment.
But when he doesn’t come down twenty minutes later, she heads over to Archie.
“Where’s Jughead?”
Archie turns from where he’d been placing his mug in the kitchen sink and smiles sadly at her. “He’s not feeling well, Betty, he said he’ll catch up with us later.”
Her heart drops and she glances up towards the boys’ bedroom again. “Does he need anything? I can stay with him-”
“He’ll join us in a little while, Betty, he just needs some rest I think.”
“Okay,” she accepts softly, though her disappointment is obvious. She’d been hoping he’d see her walk down the stairs in her gown and make-up and finally realize she’s everything he could ever need.
But seeing as that’s not happening, she reluctantly joins her family in their car. They’d hired a driver for the night and he seems nice enough as they make their way down the few miles towards the transformed rec center.
The Winter Wonderland-themed center is packed and Betty recognizes a few people from previous years spent at the cabin. She’s making small talk with different people as Archie and Veronica find their seats at their designated table, their hands never leaving one another.
Her thoughts drift to Jughead again and again, even whilst she’s in conversation. Is he okay? What’s he doing? How did he get sick? Is he even sick? Perhaps he’s lonely and she should join him?
Her father sits next to her during dinner and provides enough of a distraction to keep her from bolting out the doors and back to the cabin. They discuss a new car he’s been dying to renovate after he speaks to Alice about cutting back at the Register. Betty tells him good luck with that and they share a laugh that earns them a glare from her mother.
The dance floor is soon cleared, blue and white lights swirling around the hall to enhance the mood, and people move to the music. Veronica and Archie are talking, their heads close together as though they’re whispering secrets.
She’s sitting there, surrounded by her friends and family, the bass of the music thumping through the ground and the sparkles of the snowflakes whirling around her, and all she can think about is him.
She can’t do this.
So she squeezes Veronica’s arm conveying meaning with which only her best friend could understand and takes off towards the main doors.
Snow has started to fall, slow and steady, but she hardly has the time to acknowledge the beauty of it all as she jogs as quickly as she can in her heels towards their car.
“Elizabeth!”
Her mother’s shriek pierces the air and stops Betty in her tracks. She can feel her mother’s nails digging into her arm as she pulls her around to face her and, in this lighting, the lines between her eyebrows are more present than ever.
Mary just catches up to them, pulling her coat on as she watches the two of them with concern.
“Elizabeth, where do you think you’re going?”
“I have to go home, Mother, I don’t feel well.” The lie is more than obvious, but Betty can hardly find the energy to care. All she wants to do is see him. Make sure he’s okay if he really is sick. Make sure he’s okay if he isn’t.
“This better not be about that boy,” Alice spits and Mary arches an eyebrow in warning at her friend. “I expected this of your sister, but for you to throw your life away for some boy named Jughead no less, when Archie is right inside-”
“I wouldn’t be throwing my life away if I went to Jughead!” She’s yelling. She know this because her mother rears her head back as though Betty’s lunged for her and Mary’s mouth is parted in both disbelief and pride. “And if you can’t see that, Mother, you haven’t been paying attention.”
Alice shakes her head, her lips twisted in a disgusted grimace. “Elizabeth, if you get into that car, you are making a dire mistake.”
“Staying here for this long, with you, is the only mistake I’ve made tonight,” Betty retorts in just above a whisper, closing the space between her mother and herself. Mary remains a few feet away, watching the two of them carefully and Betty knows she’ll intervene if necessary. “And Mother?”
Alice arches an eyebrow.
“I’ve applied to only out-of-state universities and I intend to leave in the fall.”
With that, she turns on her heel and rushes to the open door of the car waiting for her. As soon as she’s seated and buckled up, her chest heaving with the adrenaline of what has just happened, she glances out of the window.
Her mother is storming inside and Betty hopes she doesn’t snap an ankle with the way she’s stomping on her heels. Mary is still standing there with a look of pride that spreads a warmth through Betty’s heart. She nods at her as the car pulls away and Betty offers her a wave of gratitude.
She’s got her phone out, her finger hovering over Jughead’s name, but her cell reception is non-existent this deep in the forest and she groans. It feels as though the car is moving in slow motion and she keeps looking through the windows as though Jughead may materialize through the density of the trees.
When they’re about a quarter of a mile from the cabin, the driver stops and turns to Betty with a frown. “My apologies, Miss Cooper, but I cannot go any further than this. I won’t be able to turn around.”
Betty glances down at her heels, sighing inwardly. She’s so close she can practically smell the cinnamon on his flannel jacket. But she can’t possibly run that far in her heels, that would be completely outrageous.
The driver is still looking at her, concern etched across his face, when it hits her.
“Of course!” She turns around to find their snow gear still settled in the back of the car from their last snow day. She reaches for the first pair of snow boots she can find, thanking a higher power that they’re Veronica’s, and quickly unbuckles and kicks off her heels. She slides on the boots, buttons her jacket, and waves goodbye to the driver.
The snow is fresh, pillowing around her boots like clouds, as she huffs her way through it. She can just make out the lights of their cabin in the distance and all she can think about is rushing to the warmth of the fire, or the warmth of his arms. She’d much prefer the latter, but these temperatures have her accepting what she can get at this point. Her breath falls from her mouth in what looks like puffs of smoke and she folds her arms across her chest in an effort to keep warm as she moves.
“Cooper?”
His voice rings gently through the snow falling around them and Betty lifts her gaze to find him standing a few feet in front of her.
Her breath catches as she takes in his svelte all-black suit and bowtie and she can’t help but think he’s quite actually the most beautiful man she’s ever seen.
He’s currently sliding out of the jacket he must’ve borrowed from Fred, quickly closing the space between them so that he can wrap the jacket around her shivering shoulders.
“It’s freezing out here, Betts, what are you-”
“I thought you were sick-”
He stops speaking, his face only inches from hers, and concern tugs at the corners of his mouth. She wishes she could reach up and sofly trace the freckles along his face before pulling his lips to hers by his chin, but he’s now stepped away from her.
He runs his fingers through the thick waves of his hair and it’s then that she notices he’s pulled his beanie off, clutching it between his fingers.
“I’m not sick.”
Her eyebrows furrow as she stares at him through the snowflakes swirling between them. “Then why didn’t you come with us to the soiree? I would’ve waited for you-”
“I couldn’t come,” he interrupts her, the pain in his eyes gripping her heart like a vice. He takes a deep breath before meeting her gaze once more. “I couldn’t bear to watch you look at Archie all night the way I wish you would look at me.”
The words catch her so off guard that they leave her breathless.
He shakes his head as if even just saying what he’s said is shameful. “But then I realized how fucking selfish that is, Betts, and if he’s who you want, than I support you. I will always support you-”
“I don’t want to look at you the way I look at Archie.”
He stops speaking and a sadness colors his facial expression as he nods in acceptance. “Of course not, I don’t know why I thought-”
“Because I look at Archie like a brother,” she clarifies softly as she steps closer to him, a small smile gracing her lips as he blinks in confusion. “And I certainly don’t look at you that way.”
She carefully wraps her arms around his neck, again stepping closer to him as realization dawns across his features. He looks so shocked by her confession she has to draw her bottom lip between her teeth to keep from giggling.
“I just have one question for you, Jones.”
“I’m an open book for you, Cooper,” he says quietly and with so much honesty she has to fight the urge to press her lips against his in response.
“That day we made snow angels and I told you my secret,” she whispers as snow continues to fall into their hair, speckling the deep color of his waves with white. “You were about to tell me something. What was it?”
He searches her face for only a second before a wide smile that matches the pure happiness in his eyes dances across his lips. “I was going to tell you that I applied to schools in those very same states.”
Her lips are against his before he has time to finish his sentence and she giggles against his lips when she realizes she’s taken him by surprise.
But then his hand cups her cheek, his other wrapping around her waist to pull her flush against his own body. His lips part against hers and she can taste him in every way she’s wanted to since she slipped her hand into his upon their first meeting.
And despite the dropping temperatures around them, Betty’s never felt warmer.

Epilogue: Almost One Year Later
Snow is falling gently about her as she leans against the Jeep her father and she had restored before she’d left for NYU. She feels the vibration of her phone in her coat pocket and she answers the FaceTime call with the brightest smile she can muster in the cold.
“B!” Veronica squeals, her face filling the screen. She can just make out Archie packing the last few articles of his clothing into a suitcase behind her.
“V!” Betty responds with just as much enthusiasm as she waves at the screen. “Are you guys leaving soon?”
“Five minutes, right Archiekins?” Veronica turns to Archie who grins and waves at the camera before confirming only five more minutes.
“Those nicknames are borderline nauseating,” Betty teases and Veronica rolls her eyes before they both break into giggles.
“Don’t be jealous, Betty!” Archie calls and Betty flips off the camera only to receive the same gesture from him in response.
“Ohmygosh, can you two behave for two seconds?” Veronica manages through her own laughter before turning back to the camera. “Are you leaving soon?”
It’s then that she sees him leaving his apartment building, his dufflebag casually thrown over his shoulder. Her heart beats to a rhythm that’s theirs and he stops, tilting his head towards her with a playful smile.
“B?” Veronica’s voice drags her back to reality and she raises her eyebrow expectantly. “Are you guys about to leave?”
“Yes,” Betty finally confirms, fighting the urge to return her gaze to the man who stole her heart only a year ago. “We’ll see you guys in like 45 minutes?”
“Sounds good! Enjoy your man!”
He closes the space between them just as she hangs up, sliding her phone back into her coat pocket. Her arms wrap around his neck as his wrap around her waist and she presses her lips to his in a kiss that still triggers butterflies in the pit of her stomach.
“I missed you,” he murmurs against her lips and she smiles into their kiss before pulling away.
“I was just here last weekend, Juggie,” she teases, her fingers playing with the collar of his infamous flannel jacket he’s yet to get rid of.
“Any moment without you is a moment I’m missing you,” he says softly, pressing his lips to her forehead in a gentle kiss before smiling at her. “Are you ready?”
“Are you?” she asks, still feeling a bit breathless being this close to him.
He chuckles and shrugs, tossing his duffle bag through the open passenger door before turning his attention back to her. “I can handle your mom. Especially now that Cheryl and Toni will be there as well.”
Betty giggles and nods in agreement. Her parents had agreed to allow the “kids” to rent a cabin next door this year (although Betty thinks her mother’s motive may be to avoid Betty and her beau, not that Betty minds) and Betty had jumped at the chance to invite her other friends to join them.
She’s looking up at him, taking in the way his stance is so easy and comfortable with her, and he lowers his gaze to meet hers.
“Everything okay, Betts?”
“I love you.” The words fall from her mouth in just above a whisper and his expression softens. It’s not the first time they’ve said it, but each time feels like a more comforting and honest version of the first.
“I love you too, Betty Cooper,” he whispers against her ear as he pulls her into a warm hug and she can’t help thinking this Christmas will be even better than the last.
That every Christmas with him will be more magical than she could have ever imagined with anybody else.

Word count: ~2.300, 3 Parts

Ybf=Your best male friend
Tumblr media
Part 1
It was a fresh evening, you all had watched the wonderful sunset from the railing. Than the teachers and most of the other students went into the warm cabins but you and a few other decided to hang around on board.
There was quite a nice place at the ship’s stern with a fire bowl, pillows and a hammock. Ybf and you managed to get the best place and it felt absolutely comfortable. You relaxed the second you lay down in the hammock.
Cheryl and Toni had a little surprise for everyone: two big bottles rum, wine, orange juice and sugar. They heard about the German fire-tongs punch and tried it out. (It’s hot, sweet and makes you drunk in no time.)
You relaxed even more with the hot cup in your hand, your legs rested on the legs of ybf laying opposite with you in the hammock. Next to him sad Jughead on a pillow talking to Archie. Veronica and two cheerleaders talking about their new swimsuits. Fangs sad on the other side working on the punch and ensured no cup was getting empty. The air was full of girl giggles and the smell of melted sugar.
An hour later Cheryl and Toni started kissing each other, Jughead lounging around, a arm behind his head, gazed into the dark and open sky. You looked up too, stars began to twinkle  they’re so beautiful tonight out here on the sea, you could see the Milky Way. You looked back at Jughead, also a very beautiful view. Some raven colored hair steeled out of his beanie, a little smile on his face, he seemed to have a good time too.
Oh you had a crush on him. You and ybf came to his school a year ago. And this special guy who always make his own thing had a great impact on you. He was not this boring blond surfer boy or self-loving quarterback. He was more mysterious and had a kind of a dark aura. Just right to make him so interesting and of course he is handsome! But he was with Betty Cooper until she left the town with her mother because of the blackhood story. You stopped starring at him before someone noticed.
You got the feeling that this is going to be one of the best nights ever, like there is nothing to worry about in the world. You just had a great time, with great people and also the right level to feel light and adventurous.
Archie started to play on his guitar, Veronica was back to back with him, looking at the fire-sparks flying to the stars. The atmosphere was getting more intimate.
“Oh look a shooting star!” Veronica called out. “Make a wish!”
“I wish that all those present get sex tonight" interrupted Cheryl. “And to create a little destiny you are going to play flip twist to begin with.”
She took an empty rum bottle on the ground and flop it hard.
“So have fun, we will begin. Come my Love, I never had sex on a ship before.” They leave.
Like every time she left a strong impression. Her word ruled. You didn’t really like her, in fact she was a bitch. But she could manipulate the world around her so perfect. It seemed that everyone believe that it will be exactly as she told and looked with anticipation down at the bottle.
The bottle ended up at ybf.
“So what should I do?” he asked, “Veronica, you saw the star, tell me what to do.”
“Ok”, she smirked. “Take off one thing”
He looked at her for a second, than stood up to take his sweater off. But the hammock began to swerve and the rest of your drink soaked your jacket, jeans and shirt.
“Oh shit!”
You also sat up.
“I’m so sorry.” said ybf apologetically but he laughed.
Jughead looked at you with a smile and said seriously,
“You should take two wet things off and flip the bottle next, take my serpent jacket - if you want."
So the game began and soon enough all the boys were shirtless.
Wow, they all have so well trained bodies.
You were not quite sure if Fangs is gay or not, but maybe he didn’t know it himself. Either way he was hot, his arm muscles seem to shine in the firelight.
And then there was ybf. The strong shoulder, always ready to lean on. You given each other advices if the world was against one of you or at least if you just need someone to talk, he was there.
And sometimes you have a relationship with benefits. Well but not tonight, all you could thought of was Jughead.
Speaking from the devil, what the hell is he doing?
“You know your beanie would be enough, do you?” you asked as the bottle ended up at Jug again.
“Oh no honey, you will get a strip” and with a lot of struggle he managed to get out of his jeans, nearly falling over board. Everybody laughed.
“Ha, that's cold guys, is there some punch left?”
He placed himself right in front of you, his beanie still on his head, he helped himself to another drink and also offered you one. Your eyes met and both of you smile.
Your heart pounded faster.
Veronica shivered.
“Yeah it’s very cold. We should go inside” she said to Archie.
He sighted, clearly didn’t want to go, but of course, if she said so, there is nothing to discuss. She put his jacket on and they leave too. Lewd comments from all sides accompanied them.
Than all came closer together around the fire and the bottle. In the next rounds you had bad luck. You were left with a wide shirt and your underwear.
Thanks god that I didn’t choose the granny panties this morning, unfortunately I even had to return Jugs leatherjacket.
But it was so cold, you had Goosebumps all over and didn’t want to catch a cold. You take a last look at all this great bodies.
“Sorry guys but it’s just too cold and maybe I’m a little too drunk to be safe from you.” You winked “I go to bed. Night everyone!”
The remaining two girls seemed relieved and giggled even more while you leave. The chances to end up in bed with one of the boys increased and they got even closer to them.
You grabbed your things and went downstairs inside. You took a last look at the stars.
Maybe Cheryl's wish come true? The couples definitely, also the rest looks ...
You looked back at the remaining group. Ybf, Jughead and Fangs sat together and whisper.
You went into your cabin, brushed your teeth, drank a glass of water with aspirin and hoped the morning will not be too bad.
This punch was so dam tasty. Well I made nothing I will regret and didn’t fall into the sea. That counted towards my assets.
But you were here alone and that made you kind of sad for yourself.
Why so shy? The others have definitely still a great time. Should I go back up? But no it’s just too cold and I’m tired.
And you didn’t want to make the impression, like the cheerleaders, it just need a drink to take advantage of you.
It is just the first evening on the ship there is still a lot of time to have fun.
So you climbed into your surprisingly large bed just as you are in the shirt.
And fall asleep...
Zzzz
Part 2
You were on your right side in the middle of this gorgeous bed, one arm under the pillow. And then it began.
You felt a warm hand under the covers climbing up your back caressing.
Wow, I love dirty dreams. But is this a dream?
You didn’t move or opened your eyes, it felt pretty good and you didn’t want to wake up and stop it. Then there was a second hand very soft at your ear and the hot breath in your neck gave you a pleasant shiver down your spine.
Who the hell is that? Coming brazenly in my cabin and start to comfort me?
You smelled smoke and rum. But you still didn’t move, this was exciting. Hold on - there was now a soft hand coming up inside of your leg and a hand landed gently on your closed eyes.
Two? Two guys?
The hand on your back started to find his way to your breast and another hand clipped open your bra. You became wet and this great feeling starting at your private zone began to grow. You realized that you had five hands on your body.
Ok now it’s time to found out what is going on here.
You wanted to touch an arm to find out who it belongs to. But the sixth hand gently placed your arms above your head.
„Who are you?“ you wanted to ask, but deep inside you, you know and didn’t want to ruin it. Your whole body cried for more, your breathing quickened.
All the hands stopped - waiting. Two at your slip, one over your eyes, one placed light on your arms and two ready to take your bra and shirt off.
This was the moment to decide.
Do I want this? - Hell yes! But what if there's a fourth guy filming the scene? - Well whoever saw it would just be jealous.
So you nodded and relaxed. All rational thoughts disappear.
It was awesome, overwhelming. This guys really wanted to make you feel good, not only do you. Now on your back without the duvet they began slowly. Your underwear was gently pulled down, and kissing started. Around your neck, up your inside legs and on your boobs. Little bites follow and you moaned. The physical stimulation and the excitement of the situation were almost too much for you. Your head bended backwards, your lips insisted to kiss. And the guy at your head kissed you from above.
Like Spiderman.
You thought for a second. Than the guy at your legs started with his tongue. He dip it through your folds and your head stopped thinking again. The warm wet muscle explored your inside.
Deeper please!
But instead he started to circle around your clit. That was too much, you needed to bite into something to stop screaming in desire. Your body bended. They stopped again and you felt back down.
What now? Don’t stop!
One took your hand, put three fingers up and than two down. You understood, they wanted you to decide now. Just one would stay and the others will probably go next door to the cheerleaders. The hand on your closed eyes vanished.
You sat up, arms around your legs, face on top.
 Part 3
You took three deep breaths and slowly lift your head and opened your eyes.
It wasn’t a dream, to your left side knelt Jug the first hand, in front was Fangs the tongue and on the right side ybf the kisser, they were only wearing boxers.
Ybf looked at your reaction very nervously, Fangs smiled patronizing and Jug also took a deep breath than looked up into your eyes. You tried to say something but your throats paralyzed.
Jug bit his bottom lip and gave you this look, that sealed your decision. You mumbled „Thank you“ to the other two climbing down the bed. You couldn’t take your eyes off him.
Than Jug bent forward took your head in his hand and kissed you. Fire filled you lungs. The other hand slipped between your legs.
Pressing you on your back he whispered “You are so beautiful and sexy I‘m so glad you choose me” than continue to kiss your neck.
“I want you to defile me Jughead Jones”
You felt him grinning in your neck, two fingers slipped inside you, curling, searing the g-spot. Swirling his thumb around your clit. You gripped his arm, feel the working muscles under the skin and pushed him even deeper inside. Yeah that was it your personal trip to heaven. Arousal coursed through your veins, taking over all of your senses.
The missionary position was to boring for both of you, so you flipped and he knelt behind you holding his prohibited hard dick and placed it in position, spread you legs wider and came nearer. He grabbed you shoulder and slowly brought together what belongs together. You never felt so perfectly filled, the feeling rushed through your whole body. He began to punch his chest. Your hands clenched into the bed, you felt that you cum.
“I cum” you sighed.
“Already?” he asked “No big deal it will be just the first time” and he rocked you hard.
You heard a deep growl of passion. It seemed as if he lighted fireworks inside you and your first orgasm this night came over you.
But his endurance was outstanding, his touch was intoxicating. At the end you sad on top, hands in your hair, showing him all your beauty. You sat solid and rode him so hard you felt his belly excite your sweet spot. Using his hands to explore every inch of your skin, than he grab hold of your hips and you cum together.
Afterwards you took a shower, because your hair clinched to your sweating body. He came along, and when the water flows above his head he looked even more sexy. You couldn’t resist and kiss him again. For a long time.
Then you both climbed under the covers and cuddle. Rhythmic sounds told you that Cheryl was right. Everybody got sex tonight.
“Whose idea was it? To come together to my cabin?”
“Well” he looked on the ceiling, with a low voice he continued “all three of us wanted you.” Eyes moved over your body “And so we could beat us up or let you decide.”
He smiled and lifted his eyebrows “I hope you appreciate our choice?!”
„Oh yeah, I do.“ You run your hands through his hair, stealing a kiss and rested your head on his warm bare chest.
The deep and uniform breaths drifted you into sleep.
