How I feel about this character: i sincerely love jordan so much that he’s steadily approaching a spot on one of those Top Ten All Time Favourite Characters lists that i keep in my heart. that being said, i think all the complexity & depth definitely comes from the acting rather than the writing and he wouldn’t be the same without all of neil jackson’s concepts

All the people I ship romantically with this character: HENRY and LARRY but neither are particularly romantic, as much as he maintains some hopes & dreams after the former

My non-romantic OTP for this character: i’m assuming this is like, a friendship thing? in that case i’m gonna say larry because i feel like the two of them would vibe nearly as much as the neils do under the right circumstances. technically, henry too but i think post-early isa his dynamic with jordan is definitely much more interesting in terms of the weird toxic codependency they’ve fallen into rather than straight up friends

My unpopular opinion about this character: i’ve seen TONS of people talking about how they either see jordan as straight (he’s got the most bi vibes after larry imo!!!!) or that his crush on barbara comes across as “”creepy””, which i don’t agree with and also think is a super weird thing to say? jordan seems genuinely happy to be friends with barbara and like it’s been repeatedly said by neil jackson himself, he’d NEVER do anything to compromise anyone’s relationships or ruin a family unit, he’s absolutely aware nothing is going to happen with him & barbara. like, the one moment where he see the true extent of his feelings is one where she’s not even present (when he tells henry that courtney’s death would devastate her) and otherwise all he does is literally just encourage & support her at work and literally agree with anything she’s ever said. the finale is just A Man On The Brink

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: my only wish is that jordan comes back in s2 and he continues to be the most emotional person alive

Hello. Sorry to be vague and dumb but can you pls elaborate to me when and where did Louis said that Larry shippers or the ship itself affected his relationship with Harry? And Eleanor? I'm only asking because antis are always on about it but I haven't seen him say it. It's also mentioned in several articles about them online... TIA!

You’re not dumb ! There's moments where what he says are taken out of context, and I think that's where they mostly get it from. So many times he would skirt himself around the question and handled it pretty well. But one particular interview, where he ended up getting quizzed and is asked about Larry, which had anti's saying "we told you so". If you don’t want to read, HERE is a snippet. At one point Louis said something about it being "disrespectful to people I love, like Eleanor" Now, believe him all you want but here's the funny thing, though. Right before saying that, he tells the interviewer that he "was never directly asked about it before" which is THE biggest lie I think I’ve ever heard. I mean does he genuinely think he's never talked about Larry before ? Okay then. To top it off, instead of saying "hey it’s not real" he goes to talk about iPhone conspiracy theories lmao. Then in true Louis fashion, he says "but in reality OBVIOUSLY there's no truth to it, OBVIOUSLY." (Still very clearly talking about iPhones). Anyways my point is, if he can tell a blatant lie the second he opens his mouth, what makes anyone believe what he said afterwards was the truth ? That whole lie just rolled off of his tongue.

As for saying we ruined their friendship, I really gotta put my foot down there. We didn't do anything, management did. What's so bad about fans believing/shipping Larry? Do you know how many bands out there have a "ship" and their careers/relationships weren't ruined? Here's some examples: My Chemical Romance - everyone shipped Frank and Gerard and guess what...they kissed. More than once. Were they ruined? Was the band ruined? No. All Time Low - people ship Jack/Alex. To this day, you'll find people shipping them, and Alex is married. Are they still famous, and happy? You bet. Adam Lambert - never lost his spotlight for making out with his STRAIGHT guitar player almost every show. Now look where he is, playing with Queen. Just a few examples where no one was forced in the closet. Take a look at the musicians who WERE forced into the closet by management. So many are doing just fine now after coming out, and have a lot of support. So for anyone to believe that Larries are the reason their relationship seemed strained, is really hurtful and untrue, and maybe they should do a bit of research.

SAL AND LARRY FRIENDSHIP HEADCANONS

they come from completely different worlds.

they’re so different to each other it’s almost funny but like they say, opposites attract

sometimes their two worlds can collide and that can either cause a problematic collision or a new discovery in their worlds

larry really tries to enforce sal on the idea to start a band but sal thought it was too much trouble and it would add on to his anxiety. of course, larry doesn’t think of this as an issue but the idea will always be in the back of his head

they always go out for jamba juice on fridays after school. it’s pretty convenient for both of them since liquids are easier to consume for sal and it gives a chance for larry to get some fruit intake at least.

they’ve always had one rule to their friendship; ‘don’t let one fight ruin our friendship, okay?’

everytime a fight breaks out, one of them has to say that one line to stop the fight. ash thinks it’s a dumb idea, because it excuses their mistakes but it’s kept their friendship safe.

at sleepovers, it’s been a tradition to watch ‘scary movie’ while they fall asleep

speaking of sleepovers, the first one was SUPER awkward. sal was fidgety and nervous and he didn’t really know what to even talk about. but then something clicked while they were watching scary movie. they started talking about sanity falls and everything suddenly felt right. 

sleepovers were also a bit hard for sal. it was mostly done at his house because he had too much ‘weird’ stuff to bring (face cream, extra glass eye, eye drops, ect...) 

sal used to have a best friend before larry, one he never liked to speak of. something really bad must’ve happened to him because sal doesn’t even like mentioning him. the only way larry found out is because lisa accidentally spilled the deets she got from sal’s dad.

sal LOVES to paint larry’s nails. he’s a bit shakey and messy when he does his own nails but doing other people’s nails gives him a sense of trust, which then makes him calm

larry also likes painting sal’s nail but he LOVES painting sal’s mask. he likes to use the inspiration from his mum���s ‘day of the dead’ crafts to paint his mask. obviously, it takes alot of time and effort but at least it makes sal happy to wear his mask.

the first time larry saw sal’s face, he flinched. that tiny, tiny flinch deeply hurt sal. while to this day, larry says that the flinch was from the mask hitting him in the face, sal chooses to believe otherwise.

larry’s been caught not once, but twice by sal while he was beating his meat.

both times, it ended with them laughing and sal awkwardly shutting the door as they both secretly remained absolutely horrified 

they both had their first teenage drink together in the dumpster alley behind addison apartments after prom night. they were totally wasted man. while sal still deeply regrets drinking he has to admit it was one the best nights of his life because he was with his best friend.
