I’ve doodled ideas for redesigns before, but I’ve never just sat down and done it. By god these designs are so cluttered that there’s so many strings to pull for a redesign!
#embracing the limited color palette and having every color shared between at least two characters#individual character notes:#way uped the spider with Angel#obvious switch of extra legs instead of arms#but also his fingers are stylized to look like spider peets and his eyes are laid out like an actual spider#Nifty was just a matter of simplification#though I am proud of coming up with merging her bloody spots + poodle into one suspicious stain#Husk was all about simplification and stylization#I wasn’t sure about using the wings as a vest/suit but it’s so cute. also no pants. nakey.#so much simplification on Vaggie#also offical pitch to have her true name be Vasiariah#Charlie is that same thing but also with a more bellboy-y uniform#that also informs everyone else who bothered to wear their uniforms#and permanent horns inspired by NOT_THE_BEEEES heart shaped horns for Charlie#also her and Vasiariah have swoops on opposite sides because their matching and in love#Alastor I’m so very proud of.#his horns are meant to look like a radio tower#his monocle isn’t just floating it fully covers that eye. no clue what that eye looks like and you really shouldn’t try to find out#no bow tie it’s just that cool cross thing he already has on his shirt#pentagram microphone obviously#and weird hoof feet#hazbin hotel redesign#my art
