Arturo: [deep inhale] I never have cheated on your mother. Nor would I ever be able to forget her. I would never try to replace her in your life either. That's not who Joy is.

Cordy: [huffs] Who even is she?

Arturo: I met her at the surviving spouses support group I go to. She understands so much of what I've been going through since Sadie died, she lost her husband almost at the same time.

Cordy: Don't you dare talk about her in the same sentence as Mom.

Arturo: Cordy-

Cordy: Clearly you KNOW this is wrong since you said she was your "friend." Why try to hide her if you don't have anything to hide!!

Arturo: I wasn't trying to hide her, I just wanted you to meet her before I told you everything. I thought you might have an unreasonable reaction.

Cordy: I'M being unreasonable!?!?!!?

Arturo: You are. Sadie died coming up on 4 years ago. She's gone. I've been feeling more and more alone-

Cordy: You're not alone! You have a ludicrously large family!

Arturo: I know, and I love you all dearly. But you're all grown up, off living your own lives and moving on... Am I not allowed to do the same?
