(1) Fastpassers are also probably mad bc when smythe post fastpass title on twitter(which was heathers musical song ripoff) everyone was so hyped up and excided, they thought this gonna be about "Underqold badass queen Persephone " or something with her trail or something big with her, but no, they got Minthe flashback that didnt change anything in the story

(2) Fastpassers are annoyed bc this episode was flashback of Minthe. Two previous fastpasses got pretty big(and stupid) revals(leto is bad guy,apollo and artemis may be zeus child and last but not least Cronus awakening) so they were hopping for something more not a filler wpisode that changes nothing in to the story bc there were wpisodes that make Minthe more "symphatetic" than this one.

(3) Am i the only one a bit concerned that a Minthe episode made LO fans demand their money back but apparently episodes and a planned redemption over Apollo, who R*PED the main character, was met with fans sympathizing with him and feeling bad for judging him "too soon"?  They can accept a sexual assaulter having mommy issues to excuse his bad actions, but a boring filter episode about Minthe, who we know will be killed by the end anyway, gets outrage? That doesn't sit well with me.

(4) oh my god the LO fans hated the minthe fast pass so much they actually made LO's rating start to go down 😭 most of us here dont even like the comic but none of us would purposely review bomb it over a boring episode over a character we didnt like, thats so entitled!

(5) Adding on to the recent fastpass, it was extremely boring. I get that you can't please everyone but the fact that Minthe is having a backstory now just feels like filler.

This is the main issue I have with Rachel's story, she has so many characters but chooses to develop them at the worst times. If we got this backstory earlier in season 2, this would make sense. However, the fp before this one ended on a cliffhanger. You'd think it'd continue but no, we just get Minthe backstory.

I'd rather see an Apollo backstory, he's an active villain and would be interesting to see his motive.

Minthe doesn't have a compelling motive other than jealousy.

(6) I can't be the only one who thinks the new hairstyle updates for characters like Apollo or Eros look weird right? Eros literally looks like an adult version of one of his siblings Storge (who has curly permed hair and was holding a hamster)

(7) That Lo eros panel ... oof. Wheres his hairline going? He had a damn 7 head. Also at least for awhile the men had a different face from the women, but I guess they’re also women now, facial features wise?

(9) SMYTHE DOES NOT ONLY HAVE A DD/LG KINK, SHE A L S O HAS A PREGNANCY KINK!!! WHY ELSE HADES WAS SO *SMIRKY* ABOUT THE WHOLE FERTILITY GODDESS THING BACK WHEN HE AND PERSEPHONE WERE AT THE BEACH???? i swear to Allah this shit gets even more and more disgusting.

(10) This is something i see so much but LO especially but why do all of them have boring ancient clothes? It's always white or tan sheets or maybe black if it's someone in the Underworld. I'm going more off ancient images but shouldn't the gods especially have more grand and detailed clothing options? i get it's probably harder to design based off colorful skin tones but it's not impossible. it just seems so much of the comic design feels very flat, so if the story can't hold up then the art should.

(11)  The main problem I had before with lore olympus was its cliffhanger syndrome. Like, why do some many chapters leave on a cliffhanger and for no reason at all? Like when Hera got hit and nothing happened. When I was experiencing the episodes coming out in real time, it drove me mad.

It's gotten better recently but that's probably because the three recent episodes (fastpass) felt more like filler.

That's the main reason why I feel like the plot is being dragged out. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for cute character moments and creators getting money but, LO is slowly becoming less and less interesting. I literally skipped around in most of the fasspasses because it really wasn't interesting. The only thing memorable about all of the fp episodes is the beginning and end, the middle is just kinda there.

(13) Wtf is happening in lore olympus?! Now they want to bring cronus back and do another war?!? Are they crazy nothing like this didnt happen in mythology and obviously not bc of persephone(in comic her pink tree in underwold will give crounus power and life). It supposed to be romance not whatever fuck this is now.

(14) I feel like if I was at Henson Co. or Webtoons with a tv deal on the line, I would make Smythe to hand writing duties to a pro or take a hiatus seriously plan everything out, because all these new plots are distracting from what people signed up for, which is to see HxP get together and the myth. It seems like filter seeing as any TV adaption wouldn't cover most of it anyway, so why even include it? If RS wants it over sooner than later, this isn't how you do it, she's just procrastinating now.

(15) I find Demeter in LO just confusing. If she’s so overbearing and controlling, why would she ever allow Persephone out of their domain to live with Artemis in the city? Even the most liberally easy going parents don’t let their naive children out into the world like that with people they barely know, yet the supposed helicopter parent does. Why not literally literally lock her up? Especially when Persephone can’t control her powers and is desperate to hide that she killed a village of people? Demeter knows she’s a danger to others yet let her out anyway? That doesn’t sounding overbearing to me. It sounds like she’s right to want to hide her away. Persephone is a bigger threat to everyone else than they are to her. More so, actual controlling parents do give their children phones to keep easy tabs on them, yet LO Demeter doesn’t? She could constantly call Persephone or check up on her without physically needing to be there, yet they don’t do that. What modern parent would let their child leave home without a way to contact them? If anything, she’s extremely loose on parenting her and lets Persephone do/have whatever she wants. The controlling helicopter parent premise too is undercut by the fact LO Demeter ends up being right in wanting to hide her daughter away because within a month of leaving home Persephone is drugged, kidnapped, threatened by several people, r*ped, blackmailed, is close to dropping out of school, attacked by shades, and had a mental/emotional breakdown, many of those things being linked to her future “caring” husband. I just don’t buy it. Demeter ends up looking correct by anyone who isn’t blinded by the rose colored glasses of HxP.

tyler posey. cis male. he/him. ／ Aleksander “Alek” Garcia just pulled up blasting nobody by mitski— that song is so them! you know, for a twenty-three year old Singer/AGT judge, i’ve heard they’re really impulsive, but that they make up for it by being so romantic. if i had to choose three things to describe them, i’d probably say heart eye emoji, wedding bands and rescue dogs. here’s to hoping they don’t cause too much trouble! Some Alek Fun Facts:

Born Aleksander Lorenzo Garcia. His mother is polish and his father is mexican, hense the fun mix of names. She won the race for first name but he won for middle name. 

He was born in Toronto, Canada and lived happily with his parents till he was eight. His family was always very close to his mother’s side so he’s very close with his cousin Hal.

At nine his parents divorced. His father moved to New York and his mother went back to Poland. Not wanting to leave his town + school, he stayed with his Hal.

They moved to New York when he was a teenager, and while his dad was around he still stayed with Hal’s family as this is what he was used to by now (And his father didnt really seem to care if he was around or not).

He attended public school until they moved to New York where he switched over to private school.

While his cousin trained for hockey, Alek was always a little different. He was more musical, enjoyed singing and kind of ran with it. He was discovered at age 17 when someone uploaded the school talent show. By the time he graduated, he was working on his first album.

The album took off when he was 18 and he had pretty quick fame after that (think like billie eilish, young first album hits it big yano). 

He’s 23 now, has two albums and is working on a 3rd. However, he’s also a Judge on America’s Got Talent! He’s one of the newest judges having just started the audition process for season 14 and also the youngest on the panel. 

Career & homelife aside, Alek is a romantic idiot.

He rushes into relationships and then goes way too fast. He’s the promise rings on a third date kind of guy. A marriage proposal after a few months kinda dude. He rushes because he wants to be loved really badly.

He admires people who are in good relationships and has rose colored glass when it comes to falling in love. When he’s with someone they can do no harm which often gets him messed up in the end

You could cheat on him but he’d forgive you if you said you loved him. homie is just desperate for that big family, happy marriage kind of life!!!

can sometimes scare away dates with that though. most people dont like it when you talk about wedding plans on a first date sahdjwqkefes even hypothetically lol

He’s got two rescue dogs and honestly wants... more. He’s rly just a kid who felt kinda dumped by his family so all his dreams rely on making his own. Whether it’s rescuing dogs, getting married, having kids, adopting kids. he just wants what he couldn’t have when he was younger.

That being said homie has 1 brain cell and isn’t afraid to use it

a few years ago i had joined a roleplay community. it wasnt very big, pretty close knit. like after a few days you pretty much knew the people who would visit the chatroom regularly, those who were regular submitter to the artists galleries and the likes.

whenever someone new joined the community the atmosphere was always pretty excited? since its a new face in a very small group of people and everyones curious what theyre like as a person and excited to roleplay with someone new as a change of pace

it was during this time i met a lot of great and talented individuals and had a lot of fun roleplaying and goofing off during my downtime. everyone had great characters and despite the depressing premise (where everyone was dead p much) the community was pretty jolly and light hearted. although maybe im just thinking that way because im seeing everything through rose colored glasses idkthere were bad times though too. and one time in particular still just.. fucks me up. it was with one member from the community and recently i ran into them again and i just dont know what to do. cause everytime i talk to them i think about the last time we had a real conversation together and it. just. sucks.back in the day the community was split pretty evenly between people who lived in the united states and canada and people who lived in australia and the phillipines. so basically opposite ends of the world.i ended up adding a bunch of them on skype so we could talk whenever and continue talking forever, including this certain member

now to be fair we were friends. i wouldnt really consider us friends now just because i havent talked to them in ages but. at the time we were. we’d talk for hours about our characters and the inspiration that we put into them. i had a lot of fun talking to them and they really made me think about what makes a good character in general

the character i had in the community was basically a self insert. he was originally a poor attempt at some kind of bad boy flirty type that gave way into my own frustrations with depression, apathy, and mangled relationships. but of course at the time i had no word for depression, mostly out of denial, i thought if i said that my character had depression people might actually point the fingers back at me and ask if i was also depressed. which was a road i didnt not want to go on.

this member was not afraid to talk about it though. they were very upfront about having depression and talking about how much it sucked. what led up to it. what they do to deal with it now. i both admired them for being so open and candid about it.... but i was also afraid for them.

a year earlier i had lost a friend to suicide. i had never met them and to be honest i dont think he really cared about me at all. but being in the same situation where someone was talking about how often they wanted to die... it just kept remind me of slo. and how, as an internet friend, there wasnt a whole lot i could do but listen. and eventually i just had to stop.

one night they ended up calling me through skype. i thought it was weird bc up until then we never called. and i dont think i ever told them that i had a slight fear of the phone. i answered it though because, there wasnt much of a reason not to? i was home alone and i was just doing homework so i answered it.turned out the guy had swallowed a bunch of pills and was just looking for someone to talk to while he waited out his death sentence. when i found out i just broke down. i immediately thought of slo, even though his death involved a car crash and this guy was just drugged up on some unknown cocktail of pills.

i tried to talk them out of it. but theres nothing to talk a person out of when they already did the thing. i begged them to see the brighter side but even i couldnt see what that bright side was. i tried to explain what i did when i felt that way. rubbing my hands on car keys or taking in the texture of the carpet. i remember him alluding to cutting. eventually they passed out from the pills and stopped responding. skype disconnected the call, and i, in a panicked state called 911 and talked to an operator who told me there was nothing they could do when they didnt know where the guy lived, what his real name was or any piece of information. they werent miracle workers. although they could pray.

i dont think i went to bed until early the next morning.  my body was too seized up and my mind was just stuck thinking about slo and the unknown state of my friend. im pretty sure one of my roommates came in after hanging out with friends and tried to comfort me at some point too but they went to bed a little later due to being too tired.

in the end they wound up being okay. their girlfriend found them that morning and helped them to get better. i guess whatever cocktail of pills they got just wasnt lethal enough to do much other than give them a really bad stomach ache. which was good. and im really glad for, and part of me also relieved to find out they’re still alive after all these years

but at the same time i just... dont know how i feel about them anymore. after that night i slowly stopped talking to them. kinda avoided the chatrooms for a bit and i think i even removed them off skype when i was cleaning up my contacts. when they were removed from the community for being inactive i was secretly relieved. which then prompted me to hate myself immediately afterwards. i mean! what kind of friend am i? to be secretly glad a friend who i know is severely depressed being removed due to inactivity? im not a friend im a fake.

but at the same time, they terrified me that night. and ever since then whenever i talked to them i was always worried about them somehow calling or telling me that theyre in the middle of killing themselves and theres nothing i can do about it. it sucks. and im powerless and i cant do anything. its a terrible feeling to have and forcing anyone to be in that position is a selfish powerplay. and so... i just stopped talking to them. i’d let time and silence erode the friendship we had until we were total strangers again. let the space between us comfort me while i tried to ignore my own guilt for turning away someone who’s hurting badly

but now theyre back again and, i dont know what to do. i mean i know what to do. i should talk to them and talk about that night and how it fucked me over so badly and how they need serious help. i know i should do this. this is my second chance here but at the same time. i dont want to think abotu that night again. im trying so hard not to think about death. and here comes the person who everytime i think about them i think about killing myself and that powerlessness and slo and everything bad and it makes me sick

but things would get better if i just opened up and talk... wouldnt it?
