Do you have any crossover pairings? I know some people like that stuff (especially in the MLB fandom haha), so I’m curious! It’s fine either way, just asking.

So, I’m of the opinion that a ship doesn’t actually matter. What I mean is that, so long as there is a great story behind a pairing, I don’t really care what is being shipped. 

That being said, I do have some... favorites that I’ve picked up over the years. 

There is a story on fanfiction.net called “A Vent Comes to Haunt”, it’s a Harry Potter Danny Phantom Crossover, and while it’s not a shipping fic, I did end up shipping Harry and Danny together (and also Vlad and Snape :/ )

Actually, I think I’ve shipped Harry Potter with pretty much every main character in Supernatural and every Avenger + Loki (which makes sense since I did get popular through a Sam/Harry fanfiction, no I won’t link it)

Specific callouts: Falling, a Harry Potter/X-men crossover, it’s Remy and Harry, it’s great. Also, Fallen, a Harry Potter/Buffy crossover, one of the most interesting fics I’ve ever read. 

Honestly, Harry Potter feels like it’s... prime crossover material, if that makes sense. Like, most of the series takes place in a hidden world that doesn’t pay attention to the “muggles”, so it would be so easy to have there be supernatural hunters, or alien invasions, or for there to be mutants. Like, everything is there already. 

There’s a Persona 5 RWBY crossover called “Paradise Lost” (also on ff.net) that has Akira lowkey shipped with pretty much every girl. Like every girl has a crush on him (except Ruby who I think is ace in that fic?). Again, not really shippy, but...

I have a soft spot for Jasonette. I know people get in a tizzy about how “you shouldn’t change character’s ages just to ship, it’s gross” but honestly, I don’t care. Canon gets so messed up in fanfic anyway, and I’ve never read anything that compromised my own morals. 

Danny Phantom and Raven from the Teen Titan (original cartoon). 

Also, Danny Phantom and Peter Parker because of that one fanfic on AO3. Just look for it, it’s great, Danny overshadows Peter and they work together like a Steven Universe fusion, it’s amazing. 

I can’t remember the name of the fic, its probably in my ff.net favorites if you want to look for it, but there is a Twilight/Avengers fanfic that’s Bella/Loki and it was... honestly kind of great. I think Clint and Bella were siblings??? IDK but it was fun

And this crossover exists nowhere but in my head, but I love the idea of Marinette/Jericho (from original Teen Titans). There’s something about Marinette having a type for emotionally scarred blonds with supervillain fathers...
