Reuben Langdon addressed the speculations of him being "cancelled"
Reuben hosted a Space on X (Twitter) and he addressed the speculations regarding his voice acing roles because it was believed that he was probably no longer going to work with Capcom. This was speculated since he got replaced as the voice of Ken Masters. Reuben made it clear about what happened regarding that role and also talked about Devil May Cry and this summary (made by Twitter user KingpinThawne) sums up what Reuben said in his podcast.
Note that since I can't post a link because it could make this post not show up in the tags, the article referred in the summary was made by Newsweek, so you you can google about it.
He clarified about his involvement with Devil May Cry Peak of Combat and now we know that it was due to budget issues that he couldn't voice Dante, not that he was cancelled by Capcom.
Reuben confirmed on Twitter that the the cinematic trailer for Peak of Combat was voiced by him and Dan Southworth prior to DMC5 however they apparently didn't know what the recordings would be used for. Before the confirmation, it was speculated that the recordings were either from past games or that they were done by impersonators.
Since the original VAs couldn't reprise their roles, Nebula Joy, the company behind Peak of Combat held auditions however, despite people being selected, the company ultimately didn't reach out to them to voice in the game. So yeah, it's good that we got confirmations from Reuben.
