feeling really touched by mart being the one that ezra told the purrgil plan to. like yes, the ghost crew & friends are all used to ezra's plans (and jedi plans in general) being a little out there. zeb even says, "when it gets strange like this, it's a good thing!"

but summoning mythical space whales that travel through hyperspace (which they've only encountered one time before) is really strange, even for their crew! i think ezra telling mart was definitely a way to keep hera, sabine, and zeb from worrying about him. but i think he also told mart because he knew, no matter how crazy the idea seemed, mart would believe him and follow through on the backup plan to summon the purrgil. wolffe and vizago even admit they wouldn't have believed mart if he'd said that was what they were doing.

and i just think it's really sweet how much ezra trusted mart. it's also a nice reminder of how young ezra and mart are. and despite everything they've been through and witnessed, they still have a sense of wonderment at the galaxy. it maybe seems silly and childish to believe that space whales will save the day, but they believe anyway.
