There was a gentle knock on the door, but when the budding detective went to open it, she found no one there. The only thing left was a small, red and golden box, and a small hand written note inside a glittery blue and white envelope. On the note was written in blue crayon:

Hew Hello Miss Lockheart!! You don’t know me (My name is Maw Mari!) but I’m one of your big brother’s students. And I heard there was this… weeding wedding ball going on, and everyone’s asking other people to go with them… and it sounds super fun ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡ (I’m going play the violin at the party!)

But… Professor Narcissus was just gonna saty stay at the school! How lame is that? I heard from some of my outside friends that you’re gonna attend… if you aren’t already bringing someone, do you think you can bring Professor Narcisuss?
