It was fresh and flavorful and everything else on the plate was delicious too. The coolest part about this soda was that all of the people that have visited have signed the walls, so we got to sign our names too. Pretty cool way to leave our “mark” in the country.

The last destination was beautiful Nauyaca Waterfalls. It was a short, enjoyable hike to the actual waterfall and swimming area. This location had 3 jumping options: 25 feet, 33 feet, OR 75 feet. I had no idea how deep the water was but I knew it was pretty deep. After what felt like the longest 30 seconds of my life, Mike emerged holding my phone! We even stopped at a convenience store on the way back so I could buy a bag of rice to put my phone in. The next day my phone worked just fine again. Mike- if you ever read this, I am still eternally grateful for that!

Jaco Beach Nightlife

That night we ventured out to explore the Jaco nightlife since my birthday was the following day. We were determined to check out Tacobar, not for the tacos, but for the swing seats at the bar. We chose a suite that had a great little backyard complete with our own personal hot spring. It was truly paradise. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant and both were very tasty. Our Trek Back to San Jose

We decided to head back to San Jose that night instead of the following morning since we had a pretty early flight, so we scheduled our shuttle for the evening.
