21 Peanut Butter Recipes for Peanut Butter Lovers
Peanut butter tastes good with anything. #Truth.
Why else would it play a starring roll in so many delicious recipes? The peanut butter and jelly sandwich, peanut butter cookies, peanut butter smoothies, peanut butter balls â you get the idea.
National Peanut Butter Day may have come and gone (yes, itâs a thing; itâs January 24th) but letâs be real: Thereâs never a bad day to have peanut butter.
To honor peanut butter lovers everywhere, weâve pulled together 21 peanut butter recipes to satisfy every kind of peanut butter craving.
But before we get to the recipes, letâs get some important PB information out of the way:
Is Peanut Butter Good for You?
Peanut butter is nutrient-dense, and when eaten in moderation, can be part of a healthy diet.
But it is calorically dense â a serving of reduced-sodium peanut butter is two tablespoons, which contains 189 calories, 8 grams of protein, 16 grams of fat, 7 grams of carbohydrates, and 3 grams of sugar.
So if you canât trust yourself around an open jar of the creamy stuff or youâre looking to reduce your fat intake, peanut butter powder is an option.
Peanut butter powder is made by roasting peanuts, pressing out the oils, and then grinding them into a powder.
It has the same flavor, but fewer calories than actual peanut butter.
How to Make Peanut Butter
Youâre probably accustomed to grabbing a jar of your favorite peanut butter off the shelf at the grocery store, but have you ever tried making it home?
Believe it or not, itâs super easy and super quick: All you need are peanuts, a food processor, a little salt (if you prefer), and about five minutes. Thatâs it.
Find out how to make peanut butter here.

Monday In Meals + Supplements
Good morning!
Itâs time for another edition of Monday In Meals where I share what I ate throughout the day. I also include in this post some of the supplements that I use on a regular basis. Iâve received a number of questions lately from readers, so I figured sharing them would be helpful to others too. With that, hereâs what I ate yesterday + a recap of the supplements that I incorporated into my day!
Breakfast: Scrambled eggs over Sweet Potato + Kale Hash (recipe on CNC tomorrow) + iced coffee mixed with Dandy Blend, coconut creamer, and collagen
Post-workout: SFH protein shake + half of a croissant from Whole Foods
Lunch: Trader Joeâs Broccoli & Kale Salad with baked chicken breast on top + Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough LARABAR
Snack: Rice cake with cashew butter + a Beauty Burst
Dinner: Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole
Dessert: Honey Nut Cheerios + dark chocolate chips + wine
I already mentioned some of these products above, but here are a number of supplements that I used throughout the day/on a regular basis:
Dandy Blend: I love this delicious (caffeine-free) alternative to coffeeâ both hot and cold. I love drinking it mixed with iced coffee, collagen, and some coconut creamer, which tastes like a slightly sweet dark roast coffee. I also like it mixed with protein powder, especially SFH Churro, and poured over ice as an afternoon pick-me-up (without the caffeine). FYI: Hereâs why Iâm cutting back on the iced coffee.
Collagen Hydrolysate: Love this stuff because itâs super versatile and has so many health benefits, including to help regulate the bodyâs metabolism, building connective tissue in hair, skin, and nails. (Iâve heard it can help the appearance of cellulite.) Itâs friendly on the gut and digestive system, and it has 12g of protein per serving, so it an easy way to hit your macronutrient goals for the day! Itâs nearly flavorless and mixes right into hot and cold liquids and foods (like oatmeal, sauces, soup), so you can add it to just about anything! Itâs a great alternative to protein powder, too!
Natural Calm: I actually didnât use this yesterday, but I do drink it on a regular basis. I have the raspberry-lemon flavor and mix it into my water as a way to get some extra magnesium into my diet. Hereâs why. I was asked if it makes me sleepy, and it doesnât usually. Itâs pretty diluted in my water bottle, so I guess my sips/small doses throughout the day donât affect me all that much. I do notice, though, on the days that I consume at least a couple of teaspoons, Iâm pretty relaxed before bed and fall asleep without any issues.
Beauty Bursts: Yummy collagen chews! Theyâre perfect for when you want just a small bite of something sweet. I keep them on my desk for when I need a little boost while Iâm working.
SFH Whey Protein: I love this protein powder so much! Itâs grass-fed whey, but itâs made from quality ingredients (GMO-free, minimally processed), so it doesnât mess with my stomach. I also love that the flavors donât taste fake and blend well, especially when it comes to recipes. Right now, Iâm obsessed with the Churro Pure flavor (120 calories, 22 g protein). Itâs so darn tasty as a protein shake as well as in recipes. I also love the Vanilla Recovery (80 calories, 16 g protein) for the same reasons, and itâs my go-to for post-workout recovery. Coconut Fuel (130 calories, 20 g protein) is really tasty too, especially in protein ball form!
Natren Healthy Trinity: Even though Iâm on Entyvio, I still wanted a good probiotic in my life. I dillydallied for months and never purchased one until I heard Melissa Ramos on a recent Balanced Bites podcast. She was talking about hormones, and, long story short, mine are STILL messed up after having Qman nearly 3 years ago. I figured adding a probiotic back into my routine couldnât hurt, so I took her recommendation for Natren Healthy Trinity. Iâve only used it for a couple of weeks now, so Iâll have to give you guys an update down the road if I notice any changes.
Question of the Day
What supplements do you use on a regular basis?
Just a quick note: I am sometimes compensated through my affiliate links in this post, but, as always, all opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting CNC!
