-...he just couldn't keep staring as you slowly walked away, your hair swaying perfectly with each and every step, did you really just say that to him? it couldn't be, right? he must be dreaming

"sal, dude.. Sal! cmon bro we're gonna be late again, lets go" Larry said slightly annoyed, not having quite witnessed what just happened a few seconds ago.

Sal, having finally just snapped out of the trance you put him in, turned back around to face him and then coming at him with a little sarcastic

"pfft as if you care, weren't you the one that skipped first period today?"

"yeah yeah, lets just go now"

-needless to say you had that boy Star Struck (hihi see what I did there ^_−☆)

-even in the afternoon when the group hung out together, he just couldn't get his mind off of you and that stupid thing you said. Yet he was too nervous to tell his friends, knowing they were opposed to the idea of him liking.

-his friends, of course noticed his behavior, but decided to not comment on it thinking it was probably just him getting into his own head again.

-at night, when everyone was fast asleep, he still caught himself thinking about you. you. you. you. and bless his poor soul, he just couldn't stop.

-with his mask off and his face in his pillow curling up in his bed, the duvet softly covering his body and hair falling freely, he couldn't help but wonder about your reaction to him without the mask. his face, his scarred broken then patched together again face, as he not so much liked to think about it.

-and god you were right, he's just so pathetic: laying in his bed thinking of you while a tear slowly makes its way down the less scarred side of his face. you and your friends make fun of him every day and yet he still feels so deeply connected to you, wanting you to hold him, to love him.

-once he does fall asleep, you even manage to follow him in his dreams: laying side by side together on his bed, with your arms around him and his head on your chest, he didn't have that uncomfortable border between the two of you, just his bare face touching the soft fabric of your shirt. your soft voice in his ears "you know Sal, for me you are truly the prettiest thing" it was like heaven...

-friday, the ninth of august, 06:45. is what the alarm clock read as he softly stirred awake despite not wanting to wake up from his dream. finally after so many nights of restless sleep, he had an actually dream, not one of those nightmares people would also only describe as dreams.

-between periods, as Sal and Ash were making their way to art class, one of the few classes they share, they hear slight laughter and rambling behind them, knowing who it is by the obvious smell of perfume you always use. god it made him crazy.

-his thoughts were quickly disrupted by an obnoxious voice

"hey, you. yeah I'm talking to you blue hair and pigtails, you enjoy being a walking joke?" one of your friends snared.

"no wonder you only hang out with other weirdos, how about you all go back to the freak show your supposed to run?" another one joked making you laugh harder than you should have.

"oh yeah, you'd be the main attraction" you cockily say as you walk past him still smiling.

"fuckin' weirdos" the first one say as she purposefully bumps into Ashley while walking by.

-gosh why did you have to be so mean... and beautiful at the same time

-its not that you hated Sal.. you didn't even dislike him. its just that... he's just so fun to mess with, I mean cmon he's the perfect target, mask and everything. you still weren't quite fond of his friends tho, but they were also okay.

-you did feel bad sometimes after saying something to him, even if he wouldn't react, your first thought with him was always 'did I take it to far now?' which was weird since you've never thought that when you'd do the same things with other people.

-but the sight you were going to witness in a few minutes was unbelievable to you..

-this was truly the worst thing that could happen to him, he was defenseless. so vulnerable, so miserable, so pathetic.

-two of your male 'friends' had caught him alone in one of the storage rooms of the art classroom and decided they wanted to find out what lies under that mask of his.

-with one of them trying to take his prosthetic off and the other holding his hands so he couldn't defend himself even if he tried, he was done for... or so he thought.

-the creek of the door halted their movement only to reveal you, looking as beautiful as ever yet you had a bewildered looking on your face from seeing the scene in front of you.

"what the fuck do you think you're doing?" you say as you look the one wanting to take his mask in the eyes.

"oh cmon, we were just having some fun here, no need to ruin it" the other one spits.

"this is what you call fun? that's pretty sad if you ask me, I mean I get the verbal stuff but don't you think this is a bit too much?" you snap back.

"why the fuck are you defending him right now? he's fucking pathetic look at him" "and...? you know what I think, I think you're being just as if not more pathetic than he is right now, you are nothing (friends names), without me most people in this school probably wouldn't know you so shut it. and don't you dare tell anyone what happened here" you snarl.

"oh and what if we do tell, what are you gonna do, huh? tell your mommy? or the principal?" your other friend says in a fake whiny tone.

"I know what you did to that girl, you know she really did love you so much (friend name 1) it would be a shame if everyone knew that you're a lying cheating skank and not that you guys just broke up normally and oh (friend name 2) I didn't know you had room to talk when literally all you do is hook up with Mrs. Miller every Friday, do you wanna get kicked out of school, I don't think so. and trust me, once I confirm the rumors its over for you"

“You’re no fun” one of them says as they leave.

- silence. pure silence and you decide to break it.

“You okay?” You ask in a genuine tone. He takes a moment to reply speaking with a stutter “yeah, all good”

“Don’t worry I didn’t see anything” referring to his face, you cross your arms and lean against the door frame, he looks down at the ground in shame, his hands slightly shaking.

"do I make you nervous Sal?" you ask teasingly and after that you chuckle slightly as he's frozen in place "its okay, I get it"

a few moments pass when he finally has the courage to look at you again, god why was he like this when he was around you. "you owe me, big time" "yeah" he finally answers "what do you need?" he asks in a slightly nervous voice, he cannot talk to girls for the life of him (look at his first encounter with Ash in the game (=´∀｀))

you start to think, what do you need..? he then speaks again "I'll get you anything you want" nervousness still ringing in his voice "woah, don't get to ahead of yourself weirdo" you tease.

as you slowly leave the room you say "I'll think of something, sweetheart" you send him a quick smile while leaving and not to forget that wink you shot him once before.

-meanwhile he thinks he’s died because of that nickname, but don’t worry your smile brought him back to life, you just really know how to make his heart flutter. ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡

TATTOO ARTIST - ok . popular hc BUT STILL . hes worked his way up from being an apprentice in a huge shop -> owning his own lil studio pretty fast n hes GOOD . like hes got a rlly nice set of flashes that r colorful n playful but on himself hes probably got these super serious grayscale marbles and mythology plastered all over him [except for a family portrait mimiko + nanako made when they were like . 6 that he thought was so cute he got it tattooed on him] also i dont think hed b SUUPER in2 tattooing ppls names on other ppl or on himself, but maybe once u two have been dating for a LONGG while or r even almost a solid decade into marriage hed consider getting your name tatted somewhere hidden-but-not-really-hidden [womb tattoo, around the back of his ear, inner thigh]

MARINE BIOLOGIST - oHH MY GOHD OH MY GOHD OHHHHH MY GOHD i get super excited abt this cuz i wanna b a marine biologist SO BADDDDDD . its coming . TRUST !!!! anyway, he probably does some type of conservation bcuz . cmon . look at him . so he dives pretty often, like a weekly typa thing, BUT IMAGINE HIM IN THE SCUBA OUTFIT . he comes out sopping wet n hes probably rlly hot 4 a solid minute b4 the Stench hits u since ur both in an enclosed space and he smells like the underside of a dock.

CLASSICAL MUSICIAN - u know how i was talking abt how suguru would b a cellist ? yeah hed b a DAMN GOOD cellist like that man is principal cellist and hes so nice abt it 2 ,,, like he doesn't flaunt it and whenever someone in his section needs help w bowings or smthn else he gladly helps them !! he probably solos a ton on the tuba 2 ,,, like hes just SO GOOD at everything he picks up its insane

CONDUCTOR - same vein as the classical musician thing, he would b such a fine ass conductor ,,,,, like his facial expressions when the music gets intense and then it softens and hes swaying with the orchestra, hands gliding through the air ,,, also hed just b rlly good at keeping ppl in time and figuring out what each section was doing wrong.

so a mod dropped recently for me3 that reworks the bodyshape meshes for ashley, liara, and edi, specifically in edi's case trying to make her whole situation... marginally less ridiculous. to my knowledge it just addresses the bust, not even the fact her feet are stuck in permanent high heels mode, etc, but it's smth. anyway all this made me wonder, bc ur art beats ass and i like ur takes on mass effect: how would you reimagine edi in physical space? (not an art request rly, just love ur thots)

oohhhh EDI... robot queen of my heart, 1/2 of the reason I could never pick the Destroy ending (the other half is the geth). I love the female-identifying AI, I hate the sexbot body they gave her to LARP around in in ME3. I'm glad there are mods out there to make her less... embarrassing-- I have seen a mod already that puts her in a blue version of Joker's outfit, complete with a little baseball cap, and I love that one a lot.

As for how I would design EDI... lol aw I'm glad you like my takes on mass effect, and getting asked stuff like this is the best. First up absolutely would be to get rid of the perma-high-heels, because those are stupid and distracting and I really hate them, lol. But otherwise... I don't think I'd change base EDI that much? I think it's funny how her new human-looking body is a stolen repurposed sexy infiltration android. What I would really change is how EDI customizes her sexy android body once she's started using it-- she's a formless AI who already considers the Normandy her "body", and that's a giant spaceship, so why would she feel compelled to follow human standards of beauty with her new human-shaped peripheral-- or even standards for what a human body should look like at all?

EDI with a humanoid base but lots of fun borderline-body-horror augmentations that get more elaborate as Mass Effect 3 goes on, is what I'm saying. And maybe equipping her for battle involves sticking cool weapons to her, instead of just giving her guns to hold with her boring human hands?

And also she still gets to wear a baseball cap like Joker.

I find a lot of inspo in the human body, I just think it’s a really neat thing. It’s not really evident in my fanart, but I enjoy exploring the extreme states of the body, from the unnatural physical prime to deterioration; the body is surprisingly durable, and so that’s fun to play around with, how far can u push a human body until it’s unrecognisable as a body? And just how the body functions in general is cool, it’s like a machine made out of flesh. In my fanart though, I just draw what silly, self indulgent concept is plaguing me at the moment.

I take inspo from a lot of artists, but three that have stuck with me are Dennis Eriksson, Ashley Wood, and Franquin.

Dennis eriksson is an illustrator (I THINK U CAN SEE SOME RESEMBLANCE ALREADY) who works mainly in ink but his oil stuhf is soooo good too. He captures faces so perfect.

Ashley Wood illustrated the Metal Gear Solid comics and if u haven’t read them so it even if u don’t like mgs. Her way of drawing is so idk what to say they’re like ghosts passing through and she builds amazing atmosphere.

Franquin was huge in the school of Marcinelle, think he helped coin the style even? Anyway his comics (Gaston is my fav) r so lively n full of expression n hilarious I love them.

And that’s not all…

We are due for a game update next week. It’s not confirmed, but it’s very likely we will get the Angel and Demon Hell event sooner than July (first anniversary). We are probably going to get Chapter 12 with the next update (although the devs may be tricking us), and A&D is tied to the events of the chapter.

Plus, we are already getting Secret Letters in our Mailbox. In the Taiwanese server, 12 letters arrived, one per day, leading up to the arrival of the Desire Deity. And the Japanese server got Secret Letters in January and have just started the A&D event on 7 March.

Also, we are due for a Hell event in April or May. I am very suspicious that this next Hell will be the A&D event. In case it is the next one, here are some (minor!) spoilers to help you get ready.

(If you don’t want any spoilers, you can skip this part.)

Alright, to start off, when the Goddess of Desire comes, you will join an organization to fight alongside. (If you have played Love Nikki, think of the Four Gods Hell event.) Each group has a main character as a leader: Zoey (Justiciars), Qin Yi (Neverfall Troupe), Mercury (Mercury Group), and Loen (his secret organization, called Savior). This has no impact on the story itself. It just changes which award (most likely a new title) that you receive, as well as which celebration epilogue you watch.

Almost all characters from Volumn 1 appear in the Finale, including Ashley and Leonid. The story will contain strong moments of blood, hunger, and violence. It will get bleak, so emotionally prepare yourselves. On a happier note, past chapters will get new background art. You should especially check out the new art for Chapter 1 and Chapter 4.

The Goddess of Desire’s suit is a Pink/Sweet attribute. The non-spoiler reason why she has a Pink/Sweet and not a Purple/Sexy attribute is that she lures you in with sweet things and treats/rewards that you like. She is also very high-ranking, the same power as Loen’s Flame Fox suit.

Leonid’s suit is a Blue/Cool attribute, and its power is lower than Luming’s suit, but still very powerful. If you need a boost for Blue/Cool scoring, this is the perfect suit to get.

One suit takes about 180-200 pulls, and both suits take around 300-350 to complete. Plan accordingly, and make sure that you choose the suit you most want as your first suit.

Both of these suits will eventually get a Recolor: black for the Desire Deity and red for Leonid. I’m not sure when these Recolors will come, however.

And we will get a free UR suit, too! It’s Lilith’s Road to Coronation gown, and it is a Gold/Elegant attribute. If you haven’t been able to get Loen’s Glittering Date or Qin Yi’s Crimson Phoenix, this is the perfect suit to get for scoring boosts!

Much like the Wedding Hell, we will have a $130-ish Recharge Suit: Loen’s Triumph of Dawn. It’s a Ninir suit, and it is a Blue/Cool attribute.

Similar to the Chinese New Year Hell, this event will have its own Index (aside from Loen’s suit). As for the Archives:

-Leonid’s suit: Night of Reverie

-Goddess’ suit: Blinding Light

-Lilith’s suit: none (and it has no Reflection, just like other welfare suits)

-Loen’s suit: Symphony of Fate

We will also get up to 40 free pulls (to “lessen the sting” of having a Hell event so soon and the anniversary event coming so soon, according to the devs). This will help so much with the overall cost, so make sure to use all 40 pulls!

alright its 12am and i dont expect this to make sense, read at your own risk but heres a bullshit couple paragraphs on ashley underwood, 

this is mostly ash because i think about her the most and this will make no sense because i haven't talked about her in literal months. ash is very complicated to me because i messed a lot with her characterization for a while and i still do, and i constantly wonder if I'm just shoving her into something convenient and stereotypical and therefore lessening her value, and then i decided that shes not real and i can make characters that don't make sense to anyone else but myself and i no longer also have to watch someone else take away pieces from her while i sit silently confused and hurt like i did before. anyway, she's very special to me because i put myself in her in a lot of small ways because she was the first oc i properly created. i made her originally for a fantasy storyline i was doing with some friends, and i thought she was very cool because she could do magic (doctor strange-esque, im not original) and then i gave her some trauma because its the next logical step. now i mostly think of her in all the modern aus that were created, and a lot of its with her old love interest (they had a very cool dynamic, sometimes childhood best friends to lovers, both with no idea how to be functional members of society, but i dont know if I'm like legally allowed to discuss them anymore so if i mention it once or twice my bad i just like knowing how my ocs act in relationships).  i don't really know how I'm supposed to write things so I'm just going to put some general information and then ramble for a billion words cool sorry

she's an English major- she loves books, spent most her teenage years with her nose in one because it was easier than talking to people and also they're Fucking Good, she has shelves filled with them and two copies of her favourites so she can fill one with notes and annotations and she cries is she ever accidentally ruins one, she never sleeps when she should, staying up till the early morning and then napping at every chance she gets (she has fallen asleep on all of her friends so often, and never makes it through the second hour of the movie unless it's important), she starfishes when she sleeps and is a nightmare to wake up because she will tell you rather impolitely to “leave her the fuck alone” (getting out of bed means dealing with the world and it's so tiring to do it over and over), she’s constantly cold, wrapped up in sweaters and if she's comfortable enough, clings to the closets human heater. speaking of, it takes her a while to warm up to people, used to absolutely shut herself off from getting close to people in fear of them leaving before going to ~therapy~.  she gets top grades in school because she works until shes burnt out and puts an overwhelming amount of pressure on herself, breaks down when she cant understand something in the first few tries because it feels like a failure, she does debate and writes poems and lyrics in beat up notebooks, hides them when people come over and owns like 3 guitars, sings unreasonably well and has scarily specific playlists, has round glasses she only wears when she has to because she cant see shit far away, catches colds often, brushes them off till shes forced into a bed, she studies the stars because theyre beautiful and unattainable and reads psychology books and likes true crime but only when theres a satisfying ending, she shows love through acts of service and physical touch, likes receiving quality time and words of affirmation, she takes polaroids of all her friends and sticks a bunch to her wall so she can stare at them and know that things are worth it now, has posters and art to remind herself of the little joys in life, will fight you about the star wars movies, overly competitive in a lot of things (mario-kart is a dangerous fucking game), curses a lot, stress bakes and cries when something goes slightly wrong, accidentally collects a following on tiktok from shitposting at 4am and having a nice aesthetic (and being pretty), would be the mysterious girl who you see/works at the bookstore/coffee-shop and fall a little bit in love with, writes essays last minute due to chronic procrastination and still aces it, is a ravenclaw, would be a child of hades in the pjo universe, would play outside hitter in volleyball (yes there was a haikyuu au), would be bassist in a band. i think this is all i can think of tonight because my eyes hurt but feel free to ask questions/ say anything honestly i really missed talking about my ocs and i have: many more that i will also talk about if anyone wants me to, (please. my inbox is so open please tell me abt ur ocs too i think its so fun)
