Okay idk if you mean like actual games or game series, but I’m gonna go with the former lol (I also know I don’t need to give explanations for these but I like doing so anyways lol)

5) Ultimate Custom Night: I was originally going to put a Zelda game, more specifically Skyward Sword, but I’ve been more in a FNaF mood lately lol I am not good with playing horror games but this one’s actually easy for me to play in that regard. Probably because its more focused on challenge rather than actual horror. And its a difficult game to but yet I’ve been able to make real progress in it and at this point, the challenge feels welcoming and even relaxing at times! I can definitely see it becoming a comfort game!

4) Night in the Woods: This game can definitely be depressing at times, sometimes I gotta be careful not to play it if I’m in a deep hole. But aside from that?? Its such a lovely game?? It may be dark and even scary at some points, but its also calming to. There’s no other game I’ve played that makes me just want to wander around the world, taking in the surroundings. This game makes me appreciate the fall weather a lot to. And despite everything, all the characters love each other so much and it feels so refreshing. Like yeah!!! My life kind of sucks and my friends are struggling but we’re all in this together and we’ll make it out alive!! Idk it just feels great to me (for a lack of a better word lol)

3) Spyro: Year of the Dragon: I love all 3 classic Spyro games a lot! I love all 3 pretty equally, but this game?? The 3rd one? Its my favorite out of the trilogy. Its also the one that I got the play as the most as a kid to, so I’m probably more nostalgic for this one lol the trilogy are my favorite comfort games actually and I could beat all 3 in one day but this one in particular? I just love the levels, the music, all the baby dragons and the game play! They added much more into this game and while some of the challenges are frustratingly hard (which I recently found ways to make them less stressful lol), its still an overall beautifully made game and I’m so happy I’ve had it around since I was a kid

2) Super Smash Bros 4: I know this one will be replaced with Smash Ultimate when it comes out but dang, I just love Smash Bros so much! While I’m more nostalgic towards Melee, since it was my first game ever, Smash 4 is currently the best Smash game in my eyes! I just love a good chunk of the characters in this game! And it was also the first Smash game I got hyped up for to! And the first time I ever pre-orderd a game as well! I remember when Brawl was coming out back in 2008, but I wasn’t able to keep up with the news. In fact, I didn’t even know when it came out (plus I was definitely more geared towards Melee anyways). But yeah, this game is just really fun! Learning about Xenoblade Chronicles and Fire Emblem Awakening was great as well lol

1) StarFox Adventures: Okay, if I had it my way, every single StarFox game would be on this list lol but Adventures? This game is my j a m. Smash Melee introduced me to StarFox. I was (and still lol) obsessed with Fox and Falco (tho to a lesser extent with the bird boy), I absolutely adored the SF stages, and the Arwings? So flipping cool! And then one day, my brother comes home with StarFox Adventures! And I was pumped! I was beyond excited to play it! I never truly managed to make it far in the game, but I played it a lot. Everything about it was so interesting to me, I loved seeing Fox in his own world instead of Smash. Even after I had to be separated from the game (since my brother got rid of it), I still loved it. I even dreamed about it! Those dreams were like the closest thing I got to playing it lol And because at that point, I was still a kid and all, its not like I was able to perfectly remember it so those dreams were really fun to pick apart and see what I did remember. But then the day came and I got my own copy and my goodness, I’ve played this game countless times. I love it so much! My poor disc tho is slowly being destroyed due to the countless times I’ve played through it! Nothing could ever truly beat this game as my favorite. It just means to much to me!
