I’m a Taurus and I’m a demiromantic bisexual man. And I’m an INTP.

I’m 5’5 but always wear boots to make me taller. I have short fluffy black hair that always falls in my face. I’ve never gotten a straight answer for what my eye color is but a lot of people have said they look yellow and I take that as a compliment (and not a sign of liver failure). I have random freckles, moles, and lots of scars on my hands specifically because i tend to be a little reckless with using my bare hands. I also have an RBF. My voice is on the deeper side and usually stays monotone. When I’m real passionate my southern accent does come out though.

I usually have a punk style but it can tend to fade into flannel and old jeans when I’m feeling lazier. I listen to music religiously and all the time, I listen to basically any music. I don’t have a favorite color but I primarily wear black or duller colors.

I have anxiety but that just makes me quiet and look mean. I am always down to fight someone but I will try to be reasonable first. I’m pretty sarcastic and my humor can be either harsh or really stupid. I think Deadpool is hilarious if that tells you anything abt my humor. I love horror and costume making. I also love technology, art, nature, and space. I draw a lot and play electric guitar. I also love filmmaking/editing and writing. I’ve been told I don’t show enough emotion or I have a lack of empathy but I think it’s just my RBF and that I process things slowly. Most of my friends refer to me as the “fucked up cool uncle” bcc I’m really chill.

Mildly intimidating, quiet, but with a messed up sense of humor? You're absolutely one of the 501st's favorites to work with once you get to know each other.

When you met Rex, the relationship would have been strictly professional- at least in the field, considering that both of you had a rather professional disposition, and were fairly task-oriented.

Your yellowed eyes would have rung alarm bells, at first. Especially if you were a force user; just about every Sith apprentice or lord they went against while serving in the 501st was yellow-eyed, but that wariness would have been quickly dissuaded with some basic explanations and practical experience with him side-by-side on the battlefield.

Despite any initial wariness or concern, your presence wouldn't have halted their banter with each other in the slightest; Rex and his boys have had a long-lasting relationship full of chaos, a true brotherhood. Anyone who thinks that they'd stop messing with each other whenever they could get a jab in just because someone who comes off stiff is in the vicinity is deluded.

He and the boys in white may have toned it down at the start, sure, keeping it to when you weren't around, but they wouldn't have cut it off entirely. Something would slip around you now and again, usually when things were a tad more lax, and the boys weren't actively engaged in combat.

This became progressively more true the longer you got to know they boys, and the more they got a feel for your personality.

Then one day, someone cracked a joke while you were around Rex to test the waters, and you jumped in without hesitation. That's what sold it for them.

The second they knew you would play along, it was full-send. They messed with you just as much as you did them, and it was great.

Rex and the rest of the 501st would gradually begin to clue you in on their banter, seeing if you'd bite, and getting a kick out of it when you were the first to initiate.

Given your 'fucked up cool uncle' demeanor, odds are you'd have ended up reeling in the boys a bit at times without being asked, while still being cool about it, and Rex would have appreciated the help. Especially since he's a captain for a large part of the war. Being able to be more casual with his brothers and not have to be on their tails was nice.

The man needed the help. Believe me.

Regarding your appearance, Rex would have been largely curious about your scarred hands, ever since he first met you- much like the rest of the 501st- but he would have staved off asking about them until you got closer.

When he does finally cave to the curiosity, he would have been extremely respectful about how he asked. He and his brothers got scars all the time, some small some large, and not all of them had pleasant memories after all.

The face he made when he found out that it was just because you were positively reckless when doing menial tasks and such with your hands was palpable, and priceless.

He never looked at you handling a blaster the same. Any time you mishandle one on or off the field you're in for a concerned, yet playful lecture. That lecture would get progressively more brash depending on how stupid what you were doing was- and force forbid you injured yourself.

Have no doubts that Rex will be the one to bandage your hands if/when Jessie isn't around, even if being the medic isn't his thing.

That said, speaking of being on the field? Nothing was going to stop Rex and you from having an ongoing contest every time you were deployed together.

Clanker counts are an absolute must, and you best bet he's stolen a kill from you and flashed you a positively vile smirk before resuming his work.

Heaven forbid you steal one of his kills. The first time you did, his expression of mock offense was picture-worthy.

It gets so competitive that you both start making bets, like 'loser has to buy the other a drink back at 79's' or 'loser has to clean the barracks'. Silly stuff like that.

Eventually, some of the boys get on it too, betting credits and spare rations amongst themselves on who they think is going to get the highest kill count of the both of you.

Some of the boys make it a mission to compete with you all, beyond the betting, in an attempt to win this cheeky little game of yours. One can imagine exactly how that goes.

Capture the blasters. Enough said.

In terms of other things that one can catch the Captain red-handed in? There's a few.

Rex finds a great deal of amusement in making you get worked up/excited over little things, with the sole intent of having your southern twang come out because he finds it cute.

Furthermore, he finds your style rather intriguing and thinks that the general punk aesthetic suits you, even if it's not something he'd usually go for, given that he's so used to the uniform regulations he and the clones generally have to conform to.

He finds extra amusement in the boots you wear and doesn't miss the opportunity to make a playful jab at how they made you look taller. And how short you are without them.

Has tried to convince you to wear more blue in your punk attire strictly because it'd match his and the boy's paint of the 501st, when you're out and about.

Rex secretly enjoys looming about whenever you're engaging in any of your creative hobbies, just to see what you're doing. Mostly so he can give you shit for it, affectionately.

Sometimes he'll tease or make quips about it. If it's anything involving knives, needles, etc- you know he's about because he doesn't want you to add to your scar collection.

Double-checks that you understood the information he gives you properly, because knowing damn well that you process things slowly sometimes. Sometimes triple if safety is concerned.

He's your menace.

At least you know the menace is mutual.

I have so many, but I'll do one that I don't think I've posted about before. It's been floating around in my head for a while and I don't think it's really living in my brain as a canon headcannon, if that makes sense, but it's something I like to entertain every once in awhile.

Listen, a lot of wack things happened in the Silmarillion so I'm not saying that it is implausible that Elwing got turned into a white bird by Ulmo and flew to be with Earendil in the sky, and they sailed to Valinor together-- but I'm just saying it sounds very much like the kind of thing you would tell a distraught six-year-old to get them to stop crying, or-- as a leader, would tell a disinhertened group of people in the wake of a massacre to try and ease the sting of the fact that you can't find a body.

Like I just think there's something juicy about it. Like the last time we couldn't find a body in the Silm it was because Fingon had gotten trampled in the mire of his blood. And I like the idea of everyone going no, not again, not her, she's too little, she's not even fifty years old, not the child we crowned too early. It feels like the way that humans in the real world mythologized saints who met grisly deaths.

And also I wouldn't put it past the Ambarussa, ok? @ellrond and I were chatting about this because like...the Ambarussa are canonically two of the most vicious and unhinged of the sons of Feanor, and were in some versions of the story absolutely chomping at the bit for bloodshed when it came to Sirion, and also were pretty messed up due to the Oath. Crazy, crazy shit went down at Sirion -- and Celegorm was their fav brother, and that's the daughter of the man that killed/humiliated him.

And again idk I just think it sounds like something you'd tell a pair of distraught six year olds. There's something I very much like about "no, no you're fine omg please stop crying your mom's ok! your mom's ok i promise she uhhhhhhhhhh she jumped in the ocean and Ulmo turned her into a bird and she's with your dad in the sky!! IDK how to explain this one very well in terms of biology, but I love taking things Jirt gave us about characters to the most literal extreme I can, and that includes Maglor "Kanafinwe". I think aside from Elrond, my headcannons about Maglor were my first exploration into my system of Songs of Power and what it all looks like/what's possible from a Music standpoint. Again, not really sure how to explain it so here are some excerpts from And the Stars Shine the Same and Boundless Sky

A shout pierced the night. A shout full of power such that Glorfindel had not heard in an Age. The shock of it knocked three legions of Orcs off their feet as the very earth trembled. Glorfindel's eardrums popped. The Champion's blade actually froze mid-swing and a figure launched through the air, sword gripped in two bandaged hands, glowing gold.  Black hair glimmering in the starshine, storm-gray eyes swirling with the light of Valinor, a Song rising from his lips which pained the Champion as much as any weapon.

An ear-splitting Shout cracked through the air: a slide of dissonant notes loud as an avalanche.  The wolverine snapped back the opposite direction as if yanked by a rope, slammed into a nearby rock, then went limp.  Maglor stumbled for a second, out of breath, and Elrohir had to catch him before his legs buckled.

“He’s panicking. We need to get him home.” Maglor’s voice had taken on a whip-crack quality that neither of the twins had heard before, but obeyed without thinking. Elrohir bent to collect the scattered remains of Thalionel’s knapsack, and Elladan found himself starting up the hill to pack up their things before he was even aware he’d begun to walk.

I just love thinking about these legendary figures and thinking how legendary are they, really? Like on the one hand this is probably not what Jirt meant when it came to kanafinwe, but I think it's Neat. I love the idea of Maglor's Voice and command of Music being so strong that he can cause physical damage. Hell, I mean, from a scientific point sheer volume can kill someone. But I think it's more along the lines of not only volume, but also a uncanny ability to take someone's Theme and confuse it/yank it out of tune, or to find a kind of music that sounds so Wrong to them that it drives them to pain/madness (like Dissonant Whispers in DnD, you know?)

And then there's the makalaure angle - which I read as like, okay sure his voice is gorgeous, but how persuasive is he? To the point that you don't even really realize it? Playing your mind/body like an instrument to do exactly what he needs/wants you to do in that moment? No fucking wonder he was terrifying and earned his epithets.

I love wet pathetic woobie baby apologetic minstrel Maglor as much as the next person, but also give me terrifying Maglor. "Gold-cleaver" Maglor who can rip people apart at a molecular level with his voice. "Commanding" Maglor who can write his own intentions into your Musical Theme itself. Unhinged and powerful and terrifying.

And then let him miss when he was young, in Valinor, and was using that golden-tongue to sing lullabies to his baby brothers and sappy love-songs to adoring/exasperated audiences, instead of using it to kill.

Kyoka would happily indulge in your interests, and views it as her duty to keep you safe and happy. When you do small things to her, it makes her overjoyed. If you ever argue, she will do her best to become better for you. She's always trying to become better for you. She would help you get revenge if you asked, but is willing to change in any way. She doesn't really have much criticism for you, but if you wanted to overcome something she'd do her best to help you. She would try to soothe your worries and match what you need at the moment. Also, definitely the type to tell the waiter that you asked for no onions, and threaten them about what she will do if it happens again. You two would probably take care of a rabbit together and it would lay in one of your laps and you and Kyoka would eat tofu or crepes. Since she hates thunder, whenever there's a storm you'll read to her, and she'll listen to you talk about whatever you'd like. Seeing how passionate you are about things is something she loves, and so she will pay plenty of attention until it takes her mind off the lightning. She doesn't do much to make you jealous, and actively avoids doing anything that can cause those feelings. Her love language is acts of service, so she would definitely make it up to you if she messes up. If you mess up, she loves hydrangeas (this is actually canon), so you can get her a bouquet and physical affection. I imagine her liking receiving physical affection more than the other love languages because she has never received much from anyone else. It's something unique to the two of you. Hugs, kisses, hand-holding, you name it. She does deeply appreciate how loyal the two of you are to each other, though.

currently reading: oh boy. um. well i read like the first page or two of my new copy of no. 44: the mysterious stranger today, but i'm largely not reading much. i have also been slowly working my way through a first-time read of the log horizon novels and a like eighth time read of baccano!.

last movie: you know, i'm not really a movie person so i honestly can't remember. knowing me it was probably something animated though as i am ESPECIALLY not a live-action movie person.

what are you wearing right now?: fantasy high merch and some pajama pants.

how tall are you?: 5'4-5'5ish.

piercings / tattoos?: nope. needles freak me out a lot. and i just generally have a freakishly low pain tolerance. i would love a tattoo but i don't think i could handle it even with some kind of numbing agent.

current obsession: so clearly it's wuwa. with good timing too, as i was sort of in-between obsessions.

do you have a crush right now?: that is very complicated and i'm actually not sure.

favorite fictional character: gunmeister smith from baccano! has a special place in my heart. i'm not counting twain because i made that guy up otherwise he'd be number one but i will give a shoutout to my number 3 which ismy good friend's oc vel kilana (i love him). also recently i've been on an aalto wuwa kick. anyway that was more than one but to be honest if you know one thing about me it's that i am flighty and indecisive.

last place you travelled: i flew to florida to visit my mom around christmas and have barely left the house for reasons other than work since.
