also not to yap about my own fic but mama is really fun to write bc nick and charlie are in love with each other, but neither of them are brave enough to say so, so they continue in these acts of small intimacy in each other's company while presenting the rest of the world a mirage of friendship that is TECHNICALLY true because neither of them are aware the other loves them just as much. i just think there's something special about their quiet if not obvious affection for each other. listening to music on the floor, watching movies together, cuddling. the casual arm over the shoulder or pinkies interlocking beneath tabletops ough it's so tasty to me.
