Okay, I need advice: I'm in a very tiny fandom (like less than two dozen active people and everyone knows each other) and one of the women in it is kind of freaking me out.
We became mutuals because we had some good discussions on some of the characters we liked, but I soon became sort of uncomfortable with a lot of her online behavior whereas simultaneously she's DM-ing me more and more.
She's one of those people who's a hardliner on the issues she cares about (mostly feminism- and SA-related) while talking over people when it comes to issues she doesn't care about (mostly racism and related things). And I see a lot of her trying to intrusively police how other people talk/act, derailing people's posts, arguing with people online over the most stupid shit (where not even her own opinions come off as overly coherent - this week she'll argue something along the lines of "men are evil" and the next she'll argue that people are "demonizing masculinity" - I'll add for clarification that she's not a TERF and supports trans rights but boy... Does she sound like one sometimes) and then digging through people's profiles to find and publicize minor transgressions and bad takes, passive-aggressive vagueposting, and going into mental breakdowns over the most innocuous of online interactions.
TBH she scares me. As someone who suffered through toxic people getting overly attached to me, I genuinely sometimes get a physical reaction when I see her lashing out on the dash.
And she keeps initiating conversations! And sometimes I don't reply or bring the conversation to a natural closure and she keeps at it, or sends me random fics of hers to read that I don't have the heart to tell her don't interest me or whatever. And recently when she disagrees with something I reblogged she direct messages me to rant about it - with a lot of sort of indirect language because she doesn't want to offend me but I can see the intent. The last couple of times I replied politely because I cared about clearing misunderstandings on the topic but next time I'm just gonna tell her I dislike it when she does that.
I really want this person to stop interacting with me, to be honest, and all my polite hints to the effect go unnoticed. But the fandom is so small I feel awkward and uncomfortable about unfollowing or blocking her. I don't think she's too bad of a person, she just comes off as very... Mentally ill, I guess? And since I've tried to be polite so far I feel like it might come out of left field for her?
TBH I feel like something about her behavior also triggers some kind of freeze/fawn reaction inside of me that I don't often get and consequently don't know how to deal with.
So I need impartial advice because I don't see the situation clearly myself
--
To summarize, a person who is a walking red flag wants to be friends, and you can't easily ghost her because the fandom is small.
I think you have to accept that there is no low-conflict way out of this.
That's what's holding you back, right? You don't want more drama and you know it's coming. I think you already know in your heart of hearts that you need to get away from her even if it's a pain in the ass.
Step one is to stop responding to her DMs. That will probably make her reach out more, but you should keep not responding. If she escalates and attacks you over it, block her.
The more you offer reasons or try to gently hint, the more that will encourage her. I don't think that's true of everyone, but I do think it's the case here. This is both because it doesn't sound like she's good at perceiving or respecting boundaries and because she inspires a bad lack of ability to assert boundaries in you.
I agree that it's unfortunate that you can't stand up for yourself or tell her plainly when she's out of line, but since you can't and that probably won't change any time soon, you'll need to protect yourself a different way. Sometimes, we just have to avoid people who are bad for us even when it's an us problem. (And here, whoaaaa red flags, so I don't think it's just a you problem anyway.)
There are many sad, lonely, needy people in the world. Some of them are officially mentally ill in some way with a diagnosis. Some just need things they aren't currently getting. That sucks...
But it's also not your job to fix.

"You heard the doctor. You have to stop taking your suppressants for a while." Megan takes the prescription sheet from your hands and shoves it in her bag.
Both of you just came out from the doctor's office. Megan was meticulous in giving you a disguise just in case anyone is going to spot you. You put your head down and hide in your little canopy of protection, your Aston Martin hat. A bit obvious but it's the only one you have at the moment.
"I can't. If it comes during a race weekend, I'm dead." You reply as you walk side by side with Megan, confined by the hospital walls.
"Ay Dios Mio. Your constant intake of suppressants may be the reason why you haven't had your first heat yet at 25 years old. We don't know if there's gonna be negative side effects on your health." Megan tries her best to whisper under her breath.
"Hey, that's not proven." You halt in your steps and turn to her, lifting your head up to face her.
"But the doc says it may be a factor. You can't keep it hidden forever. It has to come sooner or later. If it comes biting your ass, don't come running to me for help."
"I don't want to be confined on what biology or society dictates me to be. I want to prove to everyone first what I can do and who I am." You continue to walk.
"I understand. I just don't want something bad to happen to you." She groaned.
"Fine. If I win a race, then i'll start tapering my dosage. I'll let it come when it wants to come."
"When you win a podium, not a race. Better odds."
"Fine. A podium."

You felt like you've been basking in the sun, warm against your skin. You didn't want to look at yourself. For every second after that encounter in the elevator until now that you've stayed frozen behind the door of your room, everything was silent.
Your body was fighting your mind. You didn't want this. For so many years, your family and friends, who knew what you really are, told you that we're all bound to meet our mate. We'll know when we meet them.
No. You don't want to. Maybe just not right now. Yes, it's romantic to see couples who are mated and are having the time of their lives. But what if they fell for another person before they met their mate? And what if they refuse their Alpha? What would happen?
Right now, you just want to succeed in this career first. Call yourself stupid for going against your biological desires but there's a lot riding on this. Your parents sacrificed a lot just to get where you are right now. You want to prove that Omegas can also achieve greatness. Female Omegas can also stand in the halls of the greats.
Maybe you're just stubborn. Meeting your mate wouldn't be the end of the world. If you give in, you won't lose anything. Maybe.
Maybe you're just overthinking. Maybe you're being too stubborn.
Max is not a bad person. You've said it yourself before. He is actually a decent guy. Well, just from your text messages but there were no deep conversations yet. You don't love him to see him as your mate. You might learn to love him but it doesn't feel right for your feelings to be swayed just because your biological desires him so.
You barely slept a wink last night. The inkling that bothered you for a few weeks now since the first race have just been confirmed, and the fact that Max left you a lot of messages that you haven't read yet made your mind in a state of disarray.
Megan barged in your room to wake you up. She even had to throw the covers off the bed and furiously opened the curtains, blinding you with the beaming sun. You groan hard as she pulls you out of the comfort of your bed.
"I can't believe this. We're late! Ay Santo Dios..." Megan continued to mention a lot of words that you were not familiar with as she looks at your commitments for the day from her phone screen.
It only took a few moments and the both of you are now on your merry way to the circuit with you being the driver. Megan was still very furious at you for you haven't given her a reason for your tardiness. At the same time, your phone was still blowing up from Max's messages.
"I've had it with your ringtone. I'll set it to silent." Megan pulls your phone from the center console and sees '50 messages' beside the name 'He Who Must Be Avoided At All Times' on the screen.
"It's fine, leave it." You're barely able to look at Megan because you had to focus on the road.
"Who's this? Is there a guy bothering you? Stalking you?!" she asks.
"No. Just leave it." With eyes still glued to the road, you try to yank the phone off her hands.
"Tell me. Is it a stalker?! 'Cause if it is, i'll kill him." She warned.
"Please no. Relax, it's not a stalker." You assured in a calm tone as she hands the phone to you.
"Y/N. If you're in a dangerous situation and you're not telling me, your mom will kill me." She appealed.
Well, that's not impossible. These two are overprotective.
"Megan..." You paused. Megan patiently waits for your answer as you drum your fingers anxiously on the wheel. "It's Max."
"Oh, Max... Wait, who's Max? from Red Bull?" Megan rambles. "Why? Did he do anything to you?"
"He did nothing. It's just.. He found out last night that I was an Omega. I've been avoiding his texts since then." You confessed, tightening your grip on the wheel.
"How? You were always careful."
"That's the thing. I was. I'm still on my suppressants." You gently scratch the surface of the wheel. "Remember when you told me how you met your husband? Your mate?"
"Yes." Megan now replied slowly, now under a notion at where the conversation is going. "Oh my god! Is he..?"
"I think so." you confessed.
Megan was about to shriek from joy but she stopped for she knew how you would respond. For her, it sounds romantic. For you, it's not. She can't count how many times your rejected the idea of having a biological mate. It wasn't against the law of anybody to love somebody else aside your fated mate but for your body to act against your will regardless of what you feel. That's what you dislike about it.
"I still have to talk to him about it. I can't have him blabbering to everyone on the grid." You added. "Let's take this one step at a time."
"You still have a race later. Better focus on that first." She replies as she takes off her seatbelt when you arrived at the car park in the circuit.
Megan hauled you to the team hospitality to prepare you for the drivers' briefing. When you arrived at the briefing hall, majority of the drivers were already seated and the team principals were standing around in a circle, chatting. You stood by the door looking for an empty seat to take when you saw Charles, Oscar, and Lando calling you to take the seat they reserved for you on the third row. Your feet took a few steps when a hand suddenly but gently caught your wrist.
"We need to talk. You've been ignoring my texts." Max urged, eyes dead straight at you.
"Max, not here. Later." You scan the room for any eyes or ears that might eavesdrop as you carefully remove his hand from you.
Max takes a second to compose himself then tugs his hand through his hair. "Fine. Sit with me then."
"I'll choose my own seat. Thank you." You replied as you walk away from him, not giving him enough time to add more. Max's hand hovered uncertainly as if to stop you but he lets his hand limp
You strut farther into the hall and the three men gave you space to stride along the third row to take your seat between Charles and Oscar. Max took an empty seat on the first row beside Checo. He can't help but steal some glances in your direction during the driver's briefing.
It was hard to ignore Max as well. One good thing that your incident with Max has caused is that his scent doesn't make you cower in fear anymore. Knowing the reason why the dynamics between the two of you had changed, you mentally slap your pheromone-disturbed self from inhaling his lingering scent.
His scent wasn't really distinct before. For you, it was associated with fear or something menacing, but now he smelled so crisp like Cotton and sweet like baked Tangerine. Being that close to each other gave you a chance to actually distinguish his scent. Just remembering Max's small sniffs on your neck makes your body squirm, in a good way. It was nice and comforting. But it also felt sensual.
Alpha smells so good. Let's smell him once more. You mentally slap yourself once more, shaking off the tiny voice from your inner Omega in your head.
"I heard from Lance that you're moving. Where will you stay?" Charles' voice took you out from your trance just as the drivers' briefing just ended.
"In Monaco. It being a tax-free haven sounds enticing." you replied in glee knowing that it was the Monegasque who asked you.
Noticing the other younger drivers to turn to you after hearing your response, it took a moment for you to remember that a number of them were living there.
Lando perks up, legs bouncing. He leans forward and peeked his head across Oscar. "Do you know how to play Padel?" you shake your head. "We'll teach you. We had been waiting for another member to join our little club."
"He just wants to have the bragging right when he defeats all of us." Oscar chuckled, arms crossed on his chest.
"He even almost made Max cry. Have some mercy on all of us, will you?" Charles adds, further teasing Lando.
"I'll tell you when I've settled in. Maybe a housewarming lunch or dinner sounds good?" You ask. Lando quickly taps Alex's shoulder to tell him about your new residence and a possibility of a new member for their F1 drivers-exclusive Padel Club.
"I'm going to tour you to some of the best places. You still owe me a car ride." Charles couldn't help but smile at you, already making up a list in his mind.
When the briefing ended, all of the drivers went their own way back to their hospitalities. At the corner of your eyes, you saw Max hurriedly stood up from his seat on the first row and was about to make his way towards you. He noticed the miniscule squirm your body did when your eyes met. You almost panic in your seat but he came to an abrupt stop when he saw Megan pull you away.
Max tried his best to look for a chance to talk to you, much to his dismay. There wasn't much time for each of the drivers to get to interact with each other, especially during race day. After some of his media commitments in the morning were done, he went to visit the Aston Martin hospitality. He comes up to the small ledge when he saw Lance chatting with some of the staff.
"Hey Lance." Lance gets up from his seat when he noticed Max and greets him with a one-armed hug and a double backslap. "Have you seen y/n?"
"I think Sky Sports has her for an interview, I think. You know, the usual." Lance replies as he sits down. Max groans go unnoticed.
"Do you know when she might be free? I need to talk to her." Max asks as he leans his hand on the ledge.
"Maybe after the race? Her schedule's so full today. Haven't even seen her stay here in the hospitality for more than 15 minutes. Megan even got her shooting a lot of content for our Tiktok account."
"Megan?" Max quirks up his eyebrow.
"Speaking of..." Lance chimed in as he spots Megan behind Max, about to walk inside. "Megan!" She stops and turns to Lance's direction. "He's looking for y/n." He points at Max and Megan's eyes follow.
Megan thought differently when she saw Max right there, comfortably leaning on the ledge. It was in her overprotective instinct to assume that Max might possibly be a snitch or asking anyone in the team regarding what you are. She walks up to Max and asked him to come with her, already walking away without waiting for a response. Max was confused at first but did not hesitate to follow behind.
Max and Megan comes to a halt in an empty corner in the paddock, away from prying eyes.
"What are you doing?" Megan snaps around and narrows her eyes at him, arms crossed on her chest.
"I was just asking for y/n." Max innocently confessed.
"Were you going to tell on her? I can't believe you." She leans forward as if interrogating the driver.
Max leans back, baffled by the sudden change in demeanor. "No. Of course not... Wait, you know?" He tries to whisper.
She tries to examine his face for a minute for any sign of a lie but relaxes when she felt that he was telling the truth. "Listen, Max. I know she's been avoiding you but I need her to be at her best today. She needs to be on that podium."
"Don't we all?" Max scoffs.
"No, you don't understand. I need her to be on the podium because her health is on the line. I've let her be stubborn for too long 'cause she's in love with racing too much but I finally had her to agree, at last. I don't know what's going on between the two of you but please don't distract her too much today." She pleads with a serious tone.
Max hated knowing that it wasn't his place to pry. All he wanted from you was answers but it seems that even more questions are piling up. What does she mean? Your health is on the line? Are you sick? Are you injured? How is it connected to you getting that podium?
His inner Alpha was trying to fight himself.
Our omega... She's hurt or sick. Ask for more information. No, we're clearly told to stay put. She's not ours. Isn't it clear that she's avoiding us? Than ask her directly. Let's smell her again. No. Just shut up. Stay.
"Understood?" Megan asserts herself, taking Max out of his trance.
"Yes ma'am."
Megan waited for a bit to see how Max would take their conversation but left quickly when she saw that people are now starting to crowd the paddock. Max stayed in that quiet corner for a few seconds before going out into the paddock. There he saw you, sitting just outside your team's hospitality with Alonso and surrounded by a few cameras and staff. Probably completing a challenge with your teammate. His eyes locked onto you, taking in your smile. It was invigorating for him to see you having fun.
He used to feel so foreign around you. When he sees you having fun with his friends, it irritated him. His face used to turn sour when Lando or Alex hype you up.
There was something about you that intrigues him. You weren't able to race with most of them back then. Charles was a bit familiar with you because you got to race alongside his brother. Oscar and Logan had only met you once or twice and they had raced with you in a few Grand Prix but usually a lot of drivers keep to themselves and stayed in their own garages.
Then there's the big elephant in the room. You were an Omega, no doubt. After the incident in the elevator, he did scour the internet after his haze faded when he got back in his room. There were only articles about you stating that you were an Alpha, your achievements in F2 and F3, and also the highlights of your racing career. No scandals, not much haters. There were no articles claiming you have a bad beef with any driver.
For a public personality, you kept pretty quiet. Maybe that's why no one has discovered your secret yet. But that would be an extreme feat. To conceal your identity. What about heats? The horrendous and taxing schedule of Formula 1 isn't really ideal for Omegas. He recalled when Lando had to deal with Oscar's heat every month. When they were still unmated, Lando had to tiptoe around Oscar and avoid him when his pheromones were on the highest setting. How the other drivers reacted to him when it came around race weekend. It took them at least 5 months to come to the truth that they needed each other.
It was a bit easier for Oscar because everyone knows that he is an Omega since the start. They knew they had to avoid him when Lando or Oscar gave them a heads up. It scares him thinking that it will be much harder for you but it was also amazing how good you hide it.
Questions for another day, he admits to himself.
You were having a blast going against Nando in a PR competition when you spot Max walking through the paddock. Your eyes met and it made you nervous that he might come up and wait for you but no, he avoided your eyes and continued to walk. Your eyes followed his figure, relieved but also worried. Fernando had to call your attention to continue the challenge.
Your PR and media commitments were finally done and then, there was the driver's parade. The crowds in the grandstands were almost full and it was deafening. Everyone was screaming each of the drivers' names when they were called and when it was your turn to be introduced, it was heartwarming to hear their warm welcome. A smile so wide painted your face as you greet the driver while stepping in the convertible car and sat on the surface of the rear end near the deck lid.
You waited for your car's cue to go but you see it got delayed. There were a slight commotion amongst the staff that were on standby on the track and they were pointing to something behind you. You turn around and they were checking the car behind yours that was supposed to be for Max. Apparently, the engine of his parade car won't start again.
Fernando's car already left way before you and also Checo's. The staff are now pointing at yours and you see that the people who were talking to Max assisted him to get off the car. They were ushering him to your direction. Someone slapped Max's car number onto the side of your convertible. You now realize that they're letting you and Max share a car so that this problem won't delay the program.
The car shook slightly as Max climbs up the convertible. Max sees you scooting to one side trying to avoid his eyes so he quietly sat down on the other side of the convertible's rear. Both of you started to wave to the crowd as the engine of the convertible purred. Max would steal a few glances when you're not looking. Your body was stiff and awkward, in contrast to what you were showing the crowd, smiling and waving.
"Relax. It's not like I bite." Max spoke up just loud enough for you to hear under all those noise. "Just concentrate on the race later or else, you'll be an easy target for these guys."
You snap your head around and glared at him. He had this smug smile while still waving. "They wish." You scoff.
With just a few words from him, you find your shoulders loosening up. Slightly offended by his insinuation but you knew that he was just riling you up. It was also surprising that Max didn't bother to disturb you since the briefing. You would be at shoulder's length but still, he'd just nod when your eyes met.
The drivers' parade ended quickly and every driver headed for their respective garages to prepare. You spent the remaining time training with your physio and getting enough rest. The last program was for the national anthem. You make your way onto the track and answered a few questions for a Sky Sports presenter who was roaming and interviewing some of the drivers. You stood behind a grid kid to take your place and kept quiet. Right before the anthem was played, you noticed the female grid kid trying to steal a look at you. You smile back at her and she quietly squealed as she swiftly face in front. When the anthem finished playing and as you follow the other drivers exiting the track, your grid kid raised her hand to request for a high five. You gladly pressed your palm on hers and the other grid kids also eagerly raised their hand as you pass by them, catching the attention of the other drivers and the cameras.
You find yourself gritting your teeth and hands clenching the wheel as you drive the car in your grid position at the track during the formation lap. You look up at the red lights above.
"It's lights out and away we go, here at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit! and it's Max Verstappen who takes the lead of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix."
With a good reaction time, you were able to overtake three places from 15th. You were able to fend for your position well in those crucial first few laps of the race. You attacked, you defended, you attacked, you defended. It was a constant cycle.
Max, who had started in pole position, lost the lead to Charles on the third sector in the second lap, won it back by the fourth lap and slowly and methodically pulled away for his second win of the season.
It took you only eight laps to move into 10th place, and only eight more to rise to sixth. By the halfway point of the race, and helped by the fortuitous arrival of a safety car that allowed you to make up even more ground, you find yourself in fourth.
"Y/n had played down her chances of victory from the moment a broken drive shaft ended her qualifying early Saturday and left her in 15th place. But that did not mean she had any intention of staying in the back of the field. Look at her picking her way through the pack behind her with ease"
Your driving style was aggressive and clever, a total beast on the offence. The journalists have also made note of your tyre preservation prowess. They have published a few articles after the first race mentioning that with your pairing with Alonso this year, Aston Martin can gain considerable confidence that it will be regularly able to take on the red cars and the black ones fielded by Mercedes too.
At around lap 46, Ben informs you through the radio that Lewis who is in P3 at the moment incurred a 5 second penalty. With Charles on P2 just 2 seconds ahead of Lewis and you tailing behind just a second away, there might be a chance for you to end up on the podium at the end of this race. You just have to maintain the gap behind Lewis and also for Lewis to continue battling with Charles.
Ben: "So, one more lap y/n, just bring it home." Y/N: "Think something happened to my left tyre." Ben: "Ok, copy. So Sainz, 30 seconds behind, battling with Russell."
You peek at your front left tyre and it was starting to wobble. You may have hit something on the track, possibly puncturing the tyre.
Ben: "If you go Diff-Mid 12, Sainz 20 seconds and gap to Lewis is 2 seconds." Ben: "Now 17 seconds. Now 16 seconds."
The car was already slowing down and the left tyre was tumbling around on its rim. Ben was constantly updating you but you did not bother to respond.
Ben: "So use Strat 5. 10 seconds to Sainz and 3 seconds from Lewis." Ben: "7 seconds to Sainz. 6 seconds to Sainz." Ben: "Maintain this gap to Lewis. 4 seconds."
You've passed the last corner and about to go on the straight where the chequered flag should be when you saw Sainz closely tailing behind you. With your feet instinctively pushing flat out, your car zoomed past and hopefully closing the gap with Lewis in less than 5 seconds for P3 position.
Y/N: "Do we have it?! TELL ME BEN, DO WE HAVE IT??" Ben: "That's it, y/n! You've done it, P3! YOU'VE DONE IT! Wow, you've done it y/n." Y/N: "Was there a flag? I did not see it." Ben: "There was a flag. You've done it though. Just stop. You can pull the car over. We'll come and get you." Y/N: "Fuck that was close! Sorry for the profanity." Ben: "Yeah, I was about to say the same thing. That was a close call. Too close for comfort. But awesome work, mate." Y/N: "LET'S GO!!!!! BEN, WE DID IT!!!"
Your team radio is now being broadcasted across all tv screens worldwide. As Max and the other drivers complete their slow lap around the track after they've crossed the line, they catch a glimpse of you in the screens. Throwing your hands in celebration, still inside the cockpit. When you got out of the car at the side of the track, you knelt down and pats the damaged tyre aggressively as if thanking the car.
You had to do your best as not to cry from overwhelming joy. You felt like you won the race for P3 but you didn't. It was as if you were soaring through the clouds right then. The crowds at the grandstands were screaming your name, fireworks were setting off in the background. That was for Max, of course, but it couldn't hurt to imagine that it could be for you too.
You were picked up by a safety car and your car was towed to the parc ferme. When you got out of the car, Oscar jumped at the moment to wrap you in a hug, Lando following behind.
Warm and sincere congratulations, pats on the backs and helmet taps too, were sent over your way when you threw yourself to your team of mechanics and engineers who were waiting on the other side of the barricade. You took off your helmet and balaclava so you could properly breathe and to revel in the sounds of your victory.
You were the first one who had to do the post-race interview, followed by Charles in P2 and Max in P1. You couldn't contain your smile, choking on your words yet again.
"Y/n!" David Coulthard calls out your name in joy. "That was an amazing race. You had your maiden pole last race and now, your maiden F1 podium after just 2 races in this season. Could you tell me more?"
"With the information of Lewis' 5 second penalty, I had to give everything on the table. I've never had a race like that before. We tried to maintain the gap but also had to monitor Carlos behind as well. It was a team effort and I couldn't have done it without them."
"Your last lap had us trembling in our seats. You managed to bring home your car across the line in that state. How did you do it?" David asked with such enthusiasm.
"I don't know how I've managed to be cool in that period but I just... I had no choice. Survival instincts came over me and I've come all this way. I'm not gonna pull over and back off to let anyone drive pass. I was thinking 'How can I get there with taking as much risks as possible without losing the car altogether?'. I still can't believe I did it." You try to take a few deep breaths after you finished your interview, still reeling in from that feeling of accomplishment.
Max and Charles pats your back as the three of you walked towards the cooldown room. The huge screen showing the highlights of the race, including your tyre mishap and struggle to cross the finish line for P3. Charles hands you a water bottle and you took it, not peeling your eyes away from the screen. If you only had your phone, you would take a photo of the small pillar with a huge number 3 and a small screen playing your driver intro bit.
The three of you are now ushered to prepare for the podium ceremony. Your feet was quick to move after your name was called. The crowd roared with applause and cheers as you made your way up the podium. You stood patiently on your step as you hear Charles' and Max's name. Despite feeling a bit flushed due to the adrenaline from winning P3, your cheeks felt a bit cold as you place your hands on the side of your face.
Your race suit now wet from the champagne being sprayed amongst the podium placers. Charles and Max were having fun targeting you, spraying the champagne at your face. They both admired your blissful smile and eyes filled with euphoria.
"Champagne suits you. Congratulations y/n!" Max can't help but admit to himself that you were an excellent racer. Your expression softened when you heard him and it's like Max's heart skipped a beat.
"Thanks Max. Congratulations on winning!" As if the champagne rain slowed down, it was just you and Max. The stage lights made the champagne sparkle, trickling down on both of you. He never saw anyone be so ecstatic in getting P3 but you made celebrating look so beautiful and graceful.
You watched Max's face as he shared a smile with you but not a second later, you could clearly see the horror in his face as his body stiffen.
"Y/n, your nose." Charles cocks his head to the side of Max, inconspicuously pointing to his nose, prompting you to do the same. Your hand crept up to your face and it was met by a warm liquid oozing down your nose. When you swiped it off, you saw blood on your fingertips.
Max was quick to turn you around, shielding you from the cameras. You try to wipe your nose with your arm but the blood can't seem to stop.
"Are you okay? What's wrong? Do you want us to call the medics?" Max whispers in panic, still spraying the champagne at Charles and towards the crowd below as he shields you behind him. To the people below and in the crowd, it was as if you're just wiping the champagne off your face.
"Relax. It's just a nosebleed. This will pass." You whispered, still trying to wipe off the remaining blood. The sleeve of your green suit now tinted red. "What the heck, it's not stopping."
"Y/n, I think the cameramen are now noticing." Charles' eyes darted to the cameramen below and above.
"I've been a bit more anemic lately. I think that's why." You murmured.
"When Megan told me that your health is compromised, is this it?" Max leans to your side a bit, still facing front and waving to the crowd.
"You talked to her? What did she tell you?!" You glared at Max, surprising the two men.
"Y/n, Max, can you two talk about it later? We're still on the podium." Charles cleared his throat.
You slightly nudged Max away from you, not noticed by the crowd, while you pinch your nose and cover your face. Max can't help but stare in concern at your figure. His inner Alpha wanting to carry you and rush to medic's tent.
Then the ceremony ended.
Tumblr media
"Y/n, come on. I haven't told him much, I promise. I just told him to leave you alone that day." Megan pleaded as she follows you while carrying a large box filled with your household items.
You open the door to let Megan in but you avoid her eyes. She darts across the empty unit, footsteps echoing along the walls, to place the box labeled 'Kitchen Items' down on the floor. You sighed, accepting defeat, as you drop the huge bag of items that you were carrying.
"Fine, but next time, stop telling him unnecessary information."
"Hey, your health was not an unnecessary information. I'm just glad you're fine now. I told you that your prolonged use of suppressants will eventually bite you in the ass." She rambled.
"Yes, yes. You gotta stop scolding me. It's been like a thousand times already." You groaned. "I got the podium and I'm on a suppressant detox. Happy?"
"Yes. I'm working on your schedule just in case it came early." Megan skips across the unit and stopped near the door. "I'll get the last box. You can stay here just in case the delivery company calls through the intercom." She exits the unit after you nod your head.
The empty huge apartment unit was now filled with unopened boxes. There were no furnitures yet but the anticipation of decorating your new home is making you excited. Wood and cured paint scent filled the air. It was relaxing for you but after a while, it's actually nauseating so you open the door to the balcony.
Coldness of the elegant granite greeted your arms as you lean against it. Your apartment is located in a spot overlooking the marina where you can spot plentiful yachts. With just a soft breeze, you could almost smell the sea. Even with your eyes closed, you could vividly visualize the city below you from its sound. The hustle and bustle of Monaco.
Closing your eyes for a few seconds made you yawn. You are still recovering from that horrific anemic bout during the podium ceremony in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. The team had to recommend you to a local hospital for a check up and was just given a prescription. You took a flight out the next day and went straight to "Moving Out" mode. It hasn't been two days since the race but here you are, renting a luxurious apartment in Monaco, about to live your best life.
"Looks like you could fit a head in your mouth." You heard a familiar warm voice coming from above your balcony. When you opened your eyes, there was someone peeking their head out of their balcony and looking down below at you, apparently still yawning. You closed your mouth in embarrassment.
"Max?!"
"Hi neighbor!"

private show - part two
part two of three - henchman 21 x camstar!reader
ao3 ver here
Gary ends up stumbling upon your profile on a camstar website 24 had mentioned to him. He quickly becomes your most loyal viewer and top tipper.
So why not reward him with a private show?
(Set during Season 3/Pre-Two Ton 21)
18+ only, minors dni.
“Oh my god! Oh my god!” Gary exclaims in shock, holding his laptop in between his thick fingers as he rushes out of his room. He books it down the hall, banging on 24’s door in urgency.
24 sticks his head out, cautious that the Moppets may be on the other side and ready to slam the door but relaxes at the sight of Gary, “I thought you were the Moppets… come in.” He opens the door, allowing Gary to rush inside and shove the screen up to 24’s face.
“Dude, you are not gonna believe this! Look at this message I just got from her!” Gary says in excitement, still in awe of the whole situation.
24 grabs the laptop from Gary’s shaky hands, sitting down on his bed as he reads over the message. His eyes widened before responding, “I told you she’s into you! So you’re gonna take her up on the offer, right?”
“I don’t know… I mean I’d absolutely love to get a private session with her but what if she wants me to turn on my camera? I mean I totally would get that, since there are total creeps in her chat that are probably like 60 year old men.” Gary rambles, pondering his next steps, “I don’t know if I can do it. What if she sees what I look like and gets turned off and totally just blocks me?”
“Well, too late because I already said yes for you.” 24 says with a grin, turning the laptop over to reveal the message he typed out and sent back to you, written eerily how Gary envisioned he might respond.
‘Oh my god, I totally wasn’t expecting this at all! It would be an honor to get a private session from you.’
Time freezes for Gary as he processes what his best friend has just done, staring between him and the computer screen before snatching the laptop away from 24, “Oh my god, is there an option to unsend?”
“It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity! When will a super hot chick just offer to have cam sex with you, no payment needed?” 24 attempts to rationalize it, placing his hands on Gary’s shoulders.
Before Gary can respond, a notification tone rings through 24’s room and the two huddle around the laptop to read your reply back.
‘You’re such a sweetheart, Viceroy. Just let me know what times and days work best for you, I’m pretty much available the rest of this week. Looking forward to it!’
“You’re welcome,” 24 replies simply, patting Gary’s shoulder, “Also, why are your keys sticky?”
“Well…” Gary trails off, and 24’s face morphs into disgust at the realization of what Gary was just doing prior to him storming into his room.
“Oh dude, gross! Now I have to wash these gloves!”
-
You felt butterflies in your stomach as you read back Viceroy’s enthusiastic reply, having a brief back and forth to discuss each other’s availability before solidifying a time and day that worked with both of your schedules the following week.
You couldn’t put a finger on what had you so giddy about the prospect of potentially putting a face to the user behind the screen though you tried to level your expectations that he may not even show his face on camera.
There was something about his charming yet dorky personality that showed through his sporadic comments that had you throwing caution into the wind, offering a private session that normally would cost a hefty price.
As the days began to approach, excitement bubbled in your chest, quite distracted from your day to day routine. In preparation, you had picked out a special set outfit that made you feel the most confident and sexy, and made sure your collection of toys was easily accessible at the edge of your bed in case you got any special requests.
The feeling was mutual as Gary had a pep in his step for the rest of the week, excited but also anxious about potentially having to reveal his face to you. He tried to push the latter feeling aside, though it was difficult to stay distracted considering his henchman duties were pretty much put on hold as the Monarch tried to find a new arch and the Moppets ended up going on the most recent arch.
However, after that arch went south and Gary and 24 joined the Monarch in his raid of the Venture compound against his wife’s wishes, things picked back up as Dr. Mrs the Monarch found an arch that was adjacent enough to Venture that it quelled Monarch’s desires to arch only Venture for now - his brother, JJ.
The days flew by, landing on the day of your scheduled private session. Gary and 24 alongside Henchman 1 were assigned to execute a Dark S7 Maneuver by the Monarch. What Gary had hoped would be a straight-forward mission that would somehow turn out smoothly and with him and 24 unscathed and back at the Cocoon by dinner time turned into a complicated mess with the addition of Henchman 1. Being stranded in the middle of the ocean somewhere near Spider Skull Island with no reception, Gary had no way of letting you know that he would not be making your planned private session.
-
You sat in front of your laptop, an antsy smile spread across your features as your hands fiddled with your outfit, assessing it through the webcam. You had agreed that Viceroy would initiate the call as he had mentioned earlier in the day that he may run a little late due to work.
A few minutes passed and you shrugged it off.
5 minutes turns into 10.
10 turns into 15.
You bite your lower lip as you try to come up with reasons as to why he may be running late.
15 turns into 20.
Your fingers fly across the keyboard, shooting him a message through the camsite’s chat function. You curse internally, wishing you had another way of contacting him outside of the confines of the website.
20 turns into 30.
When there is no response to your message, you slowly begin to give up hope.
‘I mean he did say he might run late.. Maybe I’ll give it another couple minutes.’
30 turns into an hour.
You sigh in defeat, deciding to send a message offering to reschedule before shutting the laptop. Part of you thought about taking advantage of the fact that you were already dressed up to do a last minute live show but your ego was a bit bruised and you knew that you would be distracted the entire time.
You get up to change into something more comfortable, and slip back into bed, deciding to scroll on your phone to get your mind off of getting stood up tonight. It proved unsuccessful as your brain attempted to come up with reasons for why he didn’t show up.
Maybe work kept him later?
Maybe something came up after work?
Maybe his power went out?
Each excuse you made for him fell apart as you came to the reasons that revolved around you.
Maybe he didn’t want to do this?
Maybe you pressured him into this?
Maybe he got anxious over the thought of having to show his face and bailed?
You sigh, reaching over to grab your laptop from your bed-side table. You deflate slightly as there is still no response and decide to send one final message before closing the laptop and turning off the lights, hoping that there would be answers awaiting you the next morning.
-
The moment Gary boarded the Cocoon, he ran straight to his room, knowing he was at this point two hours late to the assigned time. By the time he and 24 figured out where Drop Point Alpha 7 was and got picked up by the Cocoon, it was dark outside and way past the time that you two had agreed upon for your private session. Praying for the off-chance that you might still be online, he opens his laptop, logging into his account on the cam site.
To his dismay, he’s greeted with the following messages.
‘Hey, hope everything’s ok! Just wanted to see how much longer you think you’ll be.’
‘It’s getting kinda late and I’m guessing you’re probably not gonna make it since it’s been an hour. Let’s try and reschedule!’
‘Hey, I’m about to knock out for the night but I just wanted to say I hope I didn’t make you uncomfortable by suggesting this. I also want you to know you don’t have to show your face on camera if you’re not comfortable and didn’t show up because of that. Let me know if you want to reschedule or if you’d rather not do it at all. I completely understand and hope you’re ok!’
“I can’t believe I screwed this up, now she’s gonna think I’m a total prick!” Gary groans, running his hands over his face before pulling back the hood of his uniform along with the mask in frustration.
He sucks in a deep breath, getting up to change out of his henchman uniform. After shedding his clothes, he sits back in his bed in just his boxers, laptop on his chest as he mulls over all the possible ways he can apologize.
After a few drafts that get rewritten over and over again, Gary finally hits send on his apology, placing his laptop on the side table next to his bed before closing his eyes, hoping that his apology will suffice.
-
You awake the next morning, finally sitting up in bed after about an hour of mindless scrolling.
The sting from being stood up last night has subsided a bit as you go about your normal routine, getting out of bed, grabbing your laptop from your desk to check some emails, and heading to the kitchen to fix yourself some breakfast. Rubbing the sleep out of your eyes, you carry your meal over to the table, taking a seat before cracking open your laptop.
You had started camming a few years ago after your work at the time had cut your hours, making it difficult to pay rent and bills without it being tight each month. After hearing about a friend’s experiences doing camming on the side, you figured you could try it out for a couple months just to help with your expenses while you searched for a new job.
A few months turned into a year which turned into more and while you were able to find a new job with more security, you liked having the extra money to spend on yourself and loved ones. It was like another job to you - log on, perform for an hour or two, log off. Rinse and repeat.
You rarely offered private sessions - only having done two so far in honor of hitting major milestones in your viewership. Yet you offered to a complete stranger who just started watching you regularly a few months ago. Something about Viceroy made camming feel different - more intimate, less like work. The last few lives you’ve done, your main focus has been what would rile him up versus focusing on appealing to your whole audience.
It was intriguing.
He was intriguing, clearly dorky and a bit awkward but that’s what made him so charming.
After checking your emails, you decide to log into the cam site, curious to see if there was any response from him.
Your jaw dropped, cheeks feeling hot as you’re met with way more text on the screen than you were expecting.
‘Oh my god, I am SO SO SO SO sorry! I feel really bad about keeping you waiting but please know I wasn’t blowing you off on purpose!  I got tied up at work way later than I expected and I didn’t have any signal out where I was so I couldn’t let you know. You didn’t make me uncomfortable at all, I can't believe you even offered because you have all these dudes in your chat every live and you’re like an actual goddess. I was kinda nervous to show my face but it’s totally worth it just to get to talk to you one-on-one! If you’re still up for rescheduling, I’m free all day tomorrow. Again, I’m so sorry and I really hope I can make it up to you. ’
Your lips turn into an amused grin as you read over the text once more, giggling at the sweet and sincere apology. Part of you wondered what work he did that had him going to places with no cell service but you brushed it off as an unimportant detail. Thankful that you have the day off today, you reply right away, the butterflies in your stomach returning.
-
“I mean at least she offered to reschedule. Most dates I’ve had in the past that I had to miss because of henching didn’t even offer, they just ghosted me.” 24 said, reading over the messages from last night before glossing over Gary’s message, “Jeez, could you have laid it on more thick with the apology? An actual goddess?”
Gary snatches his phone away, crossing his arms defensively, “Hey, she is a goddess! Plus you’re the one who said this was a once in a lifetime opportunity!”
Before 24 can respond, Gary’s phone buzzes to life, a notification popping up that you had replied to his message.
“Oh my god, she replied back!” Gary said with excitement, his fingers typing in his passcode hastily to unlock his phone to read the message.
‘Hey, glad you’re ok and thanks for your apology, it was really sweet and while I don’t think I’m quite goddess level, I appreciate the compliment. :)
I’m coincidentally off today too, I’m gonna run errands in a bit but does 4 work for you?’
“I told you the goddess compliment was a bit much.” 24 said, reading over his friend’s shoulder to which Gary silenced him with a “Shush!” before typing out an eager reply.
‘It absolutely works for me! I’ll see you then, thanks for giving me another chance.’
Gary pauses before hitting send, looking back at 24, “You’re positive The Monarch doesn’t have anything planned for today?”
“Nope, think the boss is scheming up a new plan to arch Dr. Venture again. Plus today’s Friday, it’s date night for him and his wife so you’re in the clear.” 24 explains.
“Sweet, didn’t want to hit send and then he calls us to do some random reconnaissance in the middle of the day.” Gary huffs, finally sending the message before grinning up at 24, “We’re back in business, dude.”
“You’re not gonna wear your henchman uniform right? Though, she might just think you have a costume kink or something… It could hide your face too if you’re still nervous about that.” 24 points out, the two of them donning their costumes at all times while in the Cocoon.
“God no, I have my normal clothes! Besides, I get to see what she looks like all the time, it’s only fair for me to show what I look like.” Gary admits, having some anxiety about revealing his appearance but he’s certain that your comfort outweighs his discomfort.
“Who knows, maybe after this private session, she’ll offer for you to come over.. and then you’ll have sex.” 24 says with a grin.
“Oh, don’t get my hopes up! I’m just glad I get another chance at this.” Gary grins, getting up from the chair in his friend’s room, “Well, I’m gonna go get ready, wish me luck!”
“Good luck! Don’t cum too fast, she’ll think it’s super lame!” 24 calls out.

AITA for making a social blunder? Please focus on the blunder not the fiction fan parts T_T Gender doesn't matter, we're both 24.
I follow 400+ accounts on twitter, mostly artists. I need to keep some people muted, eg nsfw artists who might end up on my tl at a wrong time, or artists who post a lot of Kpop stuff I'm not into etc. Basically I curate my tl well.
A friend (K) got into a ship a few months ago, started retweeting a ton of sfw-nsfw art, I muted them but kept up conversation otherwise. For the whole of last month tho I was preoccupied and only saw what was on my tl (didn't check muted accounts) and only talked to my closest friends. I also had notifications muted.
Last week I was going around catching up with my other friends who I didn't talk to last month and realized K had messaged me, their usual memes and pet videos, some fanarts. All went ignored for over a month. So I sent them a ship art of their fave character from a lesser known artist (hoping to surprise) as peace offering.
K replied soon, just as usual, didn't mind that I was MIA. At no point did they seem upset or angry during this conversation. Now this is the case. They ignored the ship art at first until I asked if they liked it, they said it was a huge notp and they already blocked the artist. I apologized. They said, and I'm copying, "Nooo it's okay, you wouldn't have known 😅"
We talked for some more and they were still casual. We talked about that ship too. Thing is their fave character in this ship is like the fanfavorite Hole, all other people I know from that fandom ship him with Everyone. So I thought K would like anything I sent. I then checked K's account and found out K only liked one (1) ship with this character and they have retweeted hundreds of fanarts. They've written fics for them. They have also recently talked about why they disliked the notp in private. Later I saw that they were harassed by notp's fans on CC.
Anyone following K for a couple days would know this but I missed it because on top of muting I didn't get to check their account for a month. Made 2+2, they had somehow figured out I muted them and that's why excused my mistake that way. Now I think they were being sarcastic. It made me panic and I felt terrible. I looked at their account more thoroughly, that's how I found the CC anon hate.
After that conversation they're avoiding me? I'm not sure. My new messages are unread, they don't reply to comments much. But they don't seem to be online often anyways and I know for a fact they also keep notifications disabled, so I don't know.
Ship preference or nsfw posting is not a problem so please don't come at us over that.
AITA for potentially upsetting my friend by muting and temporarily ignoring them, then sending something they hate without checking first?
What are these acronyms?

Merry Christmas, Wherever and Whenever
Kili manoeuvred the bags carefully around so he wouldn’t drop them by opening the door of the apartment building.
He hated grocery shopping and even more so if he had to buy a lot. Taking more than one trip was just not in his ability. But with the snowstorm coming in fast he had to stock up on food and supplies. He had not thought he would be here over Christmas at all, so he had not bought anything that would go bad while he was at home.
Then this morning he had gotten the alert that all flights and trains were cancelled and that everyone should remain inside.
Instead of having a lazy day and packing his things in the evening in a hurry, he had to write a list of things he would need in the next week so he and Lady wouldn’t starve to death or run out of toilet paper.
He walked up the stairs, reached the last ones and his heart gave up when he slipped.
Snow turned to water and water was slippery on the stone stairs. Normally he was careful in walking up the stairs but he had forgotten this time around.
Instead of giving the floor a holiday kiss and losing his bags to it as he was expecting, he was caught.
“Wow, sorry. I wasn’t looking where I was going.”
Kili was pulled up and looked at his saviour, who had come out of nowhere. Blonde hair, grey eyes and a trimmed beard. His mother would compare the guy to an angel maybe and in this case, Kili would for once not argue.
“No, no,” he laughed trying not to show how he was still shocked and only getting more nervous. “I wasn’t looking either. It is fine.”
He placed his bag down, grabbed his key out of his jacket and opened the door of the apartment.
“Do you want to come inside for a cup of coffee as a thank you for saving me?” he asked and turned around.
An empty floor greeted him. Frowning he looked down the stairs and then to the firmly closed door of the apartment opposite of him.
Where had the guy gone?
His apartment was on the top floor, the one opposite belonged to a guy (he only ever saw from afar) who he knew for a fact had left last week (lucky him) and there was no sign of the stranger.
He walked into his apartment and started unpacking.
Now that he was thinking about it, it was weird that the guy had even been there.
Or was he a friend of his neighbour and just hadn’t known that he was out of the city already? But still, wouldn’t you message a friend first before showing up at their doorstep? And where had been his jacket? He was dressed as if it was spring or a cooler summer day.
He locked his door twice, just to feel a bit better and felt stupid for doing so.
“I am crazy,” he mumbled and when he looked at Lady all he got was an unimpressed look. “Yeah, yeah, no new information, I know.”
——–
Fili stared at the closed door where he had just seen a guy open it and asked him to come in for a cup.
A cup of what?
He would never know.
“Shit,” he sighed and turned around, opening the door to his apartment.
He hadn’t jumped uncontrollably like that for years. What had caused it? He had to figure that out and solve it before it would get worse. Spending a whole week in the year 1544 had made an impression on him he did not want to repeat.
He grabbed his phone and texted Gimli that he could not go out like they had planned because something had come up.
It wasn’t lying per se but it was awfully close to it.
The question was to what time had he jumped? The guy had been wearing winter clothes, so he knew the season at least. And it couldn’t have been more than a few years with how everything had looked in the apartment building.
He went into his bedroom and went through his closet. It should still be there, his old diary concealed as a grey school notebook.
He found a pen on his very unorganised table and started to write down the time he had left his apartment, the time when he jumped back and was glad to see that it was the same amount of time had passed. One time he had jumped, been there for five minutes and when he jumped back an hour had passed.
What else?
It had been some time since he needed to document his jumps.
Had he eaten something this morning that triggered his ability?
He had tea and bread with marmalade. Not really a danger.
Maybe it had been the reluctance to meet Gimli’s new boyfriend.
Not that he wasn’t happy for Gimli, he was. His friend had chewed his ear off about Legolas for almost a whole year by now. With how annoying Legolas is, how arrogant and snobby and whatnot. And then it had changed from complaining to Gimli gushing about Legolas’ talent and character. How funny he was, how good of an archer, how they had pulled a prank on Boromir and they only got away with it because Legolas swore up and down that he had been with Gimli the whole time and surely He, Legolas, was above such childish things.
But couples always made Fili feel like he was missing out. He would never get there.
Not only was he an absolute nerd who studied history, but he also preferred a calm evening at home over going out. Not really the best way to get to know new people. And that was not touching on his time problem. He had to jump at least once a day and he could not fully control it. Who would want a partner that was going to vanish to be in the 16th century for a while and the next day be gone to witness yet another century and maybe talk with people long dead? And it wasn’t like he could just tell people he would date about this to warn them.
He had never met anyone like him and wasn’t going to risk being prodded and experimented on by scientists (He did understand the fascination they would hold, hell his diary full entries showed that Fili was studying himself).
He groaned and looked at the entry. It was short and probably just a dumb accident. Nothing to read into or worry about.
He probably hadn’t jumped enough in the last week with the exams. That was just it. No reason to start freaking out.
Maybe he could risk going out. He jumped now and should be fine again.
Grabbing his phone he left the apartment, the door closing with an unintended bang.
——-
He should have known better.
When did anything go in a good way for him?
He should have stayed home, safe and dry and warm, where jumping would not matter as long as he remained in a five-year radius.
But no, he had to be optimistic and undo his cancelling of the plans with Gimli. He met the said boyfriend, who had an amazingly dry humour and was very silly for someone who claimed to be elegant incarnate. And on his way back home, he jumped.
The worst part was that he jumped right into a blizzard.
It was snowing wildly and Fili managed to get into the building without being blown away, hit on the head or breaking a bone. Which he called a win.
But now he was drenched, cold and had no idea in what year he was.
A storm like this, surely he would remember a snowstorm like this in the last years?
Shivering he walked up the stairs, praying that the apartment was his and he wasn’t about to break into someone’s home.
———
Kili didn’t know why he opened the door, it had been just an urge like opening the fridge to see what there was to eat even though you weren’t hungry right now.
“You!” he pointed accusingly at the stranger standing right on the floor.
“Oh. Uhm. Hello. Again?”
“What- Where did you- Why are you wet?” Kili went through several stages of emotions he couldn’t place and settled on the confusion about the state the other one was in.
“Pretty sure you wouldn’t believe me if I told you.”
“Okay, but your friend,” he gestured at the door of his neighbour. “isn’t home. He left last week, I think?”
“Friend? Oh. Oh, yeah. I kind of forgot that.”
Kili looked at the weird stranger. He looked like Lady after a bath. Disgruntled, betrayed and in need of a warm blanket to cuddle.
“Come on in. You can shower, I will lend you some dry clothes and then we can see what to do next.”
“I don’t want to impose-”
“There is no way you are going out there,” Kili crossed his arms. “Not again. That is dangerous and stupid.”As if to prove him right the other sneezed and groaned.
“If you insist. I am Fili, by the way.”
“I am Kili. Now, get inside.”
Fili entered and Kili closed the door behind him firmly.
Clearly, Fili had problems. What exactly those were Kili could only guess. But he could help out with a hot shower, dry clothes and a hot chocolate. Many things could be fixed with those things.
“Bathroom is second door on the right. Just put your clothes in the washing machine and I will place dry ones in front of the door,” he was already walking into his bedroom-
“Thank you, I really appreciate it.”
“Mhmh,” Kili hummed and went through his closet.
Socks, underwear, jogging pants, a shirt and a cosy sweater. That should do it.
He put the clothes down right in front of the bathroom door and walked into the kitchen.
He could hear the water running while he pulled out everything he needed to make hot chocolate. The guy must have had a bad day, so Kili decided to not take the powder but melt the chocolate easter bunny he still had not eaten.
“Goodbye, easter bunny,” he broke the head off and let it fall into the milk. “Your time has come.”
The rest followed quickly and Kili watched the pot carefully. Last time he hadn’t paid attention and the milk had boiled over. The clean-up had been awful.
This focus explained why he did not hear Fili entering the kitchen behind him.
“What is the name of your cat?”
Kili turned around and saw Fili holding Lady in his arms. The girl was purring up a storm and rubbing herself extensively against him.
“Lady,” he turned back around and stirred in the milk, that was threatening to escape the pot.
“Very fitting,” Fili stepped next to him. “I never got a pet, couldn’t really risk it.”
“Oh,” Kili looked at him. He always found it sad when people wanted pets but couldn’t get them for one reason or another. “Allergies?”
“No, but I am not always home every day. Wouldn’t want someone to go without food just because I am not showing up.”
“Oh yeah. Finding sitters is hard.”
“I know this question is weird but, uh, what date do we have?”
“Serious?” Kili stared at his guest. “Christmas. How do you not know that?”
“Oh, I just, don’t do well with … dates, I guess?”“You guess?”
“Listen, it is the best I can come up with.”
“Well, you are stuck with me this year for Christmas then,” Kili pulled the pot off the stove and checked one last time for any remaining bits and pieces of the easter bunny. “There is no way anyone is going anywhere with this storm,” he nodded at the white window.
“Right. Year 2022, Storm Angelica,” whispered Fili.
“You don’t know the date but you know the name of the storm? Are you a weather guy, or what?” Kili laughed and pulled out two cups, both Christmas-themed and white in base colour.
Fili sneezed again and Lady jumped out of his arms.
“Noooo,” he whined. “I didn’t mean to!”
Kili laughed at poured the hot chocolate.
“She probably will hide somewhere and see if you are going to kill her or not. The last time I was sick and sneezed, the affronted stare I got was just- You thought I shot her,” he handed Fili one of the cups and led him to the living room, stirring him to the couch and dropping the blue blanket his mother had made him over him. “Warm up, icicle. I will just grab something.”
Kili went to what he called the season closet. Decorations for any and almost every occasion that could happen in his life were in there.
Pumpkins, plastic flowers, balloons, skeletons, you name it,  it was in there. Right now he just wanted a very specific box. Of course, he had decorated his apartment accordingly to winter but Christmas was a different topic to cover. He hadn’t thought he would pull it out the first Christmas away from home but this was happening now.
When he returned with the box Fili was still there and hadn’t vanished into thin air like the first time.
He had curled up under the blanket and even covered his wet hair with it.
“Lady hates me,” he sighed and pointed at the rest of the blankets, folded correctly on the bookshelf. Lady had wiggled in between them and was now staring at Fili, ready to run in case he dared to attack her with a sneeze again.
“She will come back around again,” Kili shrugged and placed the box on the coffee table. “Want to help me detangle my fairy lights and other decorations as well as put them up?”
If he was at home he would help his uncle with decorating the tree right now. This way he could have some sort of a normal Christmas.
“Sure, I don’t mind being put to use. What do you have?”
———-
Fili had a problem.
Several problems to be exact.
Currently, his fingers were trying to detangle several little Christmas balls from each other and he could swear he was making it worse. So that was one problem. The second problem was that two hours had already passed and Fili had no idea how to prepare for the jump back into his present. At least he would not have to worry about being seen twice at the same place. In 2022 he had spent Christmas at home with his dad, he had just skipped the last week of university and borrowed a ton of notes from Arwen. A wise decision because Storm Angelica had hit a week later, cancelling all transit in and out of the city.
That way he had least didn’t have to explain to Kili why they were two Filis.
But he would jump back soon enough and there was no explanation of why he would vanish right under the very nice blanket around him and pop up in this apartment next summer out of nowhere.
Also, this had not been his idea to meet the new neighbour.
Well, “New” was a bit stretched. Kili had moved in during the summer while Fili was back with his dad and with university starting there had been no opportunity to introduce himself. Now in hindsight that was lucky. How would he explain to Kili that he was back in town when there was no transportation running? But still. And then after Christmas things had picked up and Fili had just, kind of, maybe, forgotten it.
And no they were decorating Kili’s home as if they were not total strangers but friends for years. He looked over at him.
Kili was hanging the reindeer fairy lights around the coffee table, fastening them with tape and struggling to keep some of the reindeer from flying upside down. One was giving Kili a serious fightback.
“Let’s just name that one Rudolf,” Fili smiled. “Special reindeer extraordinary.”
“Little fucker is what he is,” Kili grumbled and turned it around again. “What is so hard in staying up, huh? Head up, feet to the ground. That is not hard to understand!”
Fili laughed and finally got one of the balls out of the prisons of knots. “Aha, liberated one.”
“Twenty more to go,” Kili grinned at him.
“Why do you even have so many? And your storage way is just gruesome.”
“Hey, I like Christmas. And I just,” he paused for a second. “Borrowed some when I left home, just in case and no one is missing them either.”
“Yeah, and I know why,” Fili tried to pry open one of the knots and had suddenly five balls free but still in a knot of their own. “This is a nightmare. I bet they were left out every Christmas year because detangling them takes a whole day.”
“You have been working on them for five minutes,” Kili rolled his eyes. “You will be done sooner than later.”
“Whatever makes you feel better about this mess.”
Fili looked over to the bookshelf and smiled. Lady was napping between the folded blankets. He nodded at Fili and then at Lady.
Kili cooed and pulled out his phone, snapping a picture.
“Give me your number, I can send the picture to you then.”
Fili looked at Kili and grimaced.
“Don’t have it with me,” he lied. “And I can’t remember my number.”
Good thing his phone was on silent.
“You really don’t have it with numbers. First, no idea what date, now your phone.”
“Oh, shut up.”
They returned to the decorating but Fili could feel the tension that hadn’t been there before.
He had to jump back. He could feel the tingle he normally got. Time was running out and his jumping ability seemed to have returned to normal.
But he wanted to stay for just a bit longer. Just a few more minutes of Christmas with Kili.
———–
Kili had to stop this. He had to stop crushing on people so fast. And with Fili, it was just so easy. Too easy. But god why was the guy so adorable?? No one had the right to be this fun to be around, to look that good and be that cute.
Lady had woken up and out of the goodness of her heart forgiven Fili so she could curl up right next to his leg and get the occasional pet.
Almost all the decorations were up, only one fairy light was missing and Fili was currently detangling it. Kili took a photo as sneakily as he could. Just to have a memory of this.
“I will come back,” Fili suddenly said out of nowhere.
“What?”
“I will come back,” he repeated.
“You would leave and break Ladies little heart?” Kili smiled. “Of course you will come back.”
“I meant,” Fili looked up at him with a very serious face. “I will come back and explain it to you,” his eyes fell back to the tangled fairy lights. “Just don’t start thinking you are insane, okay? Not until summer.”
“Why would I think I am insane?” Kili scooted closer, so close he was now sitting at Fili’s feet. “And why summer?”
Fili looked down at him and then back at the fairy lights, frowning at them as if they were the reason for all the bad things in this world.
“I won’t make it back to you until summer, I think. And I- I don’t want to ruin this moment. So I will explain. I will explain why I showed up at the top of the stairs and went away right after. Why I came back and why I will leave.”
“Leave?” Kili grabbed Fili’s hands, stopping him from continuing the detangling process. “You can’t leave!” Well, that had come out stronger than expected. “I mean, the storm. It will go on for three days. You are staying. Here, with me and Lady. Warm, cosy, with hot cocoa. Right? I mean, where would you go?”
Why was he feeling so anxious all of a sudden? Fili wouldn’t leave right now. There was no way.
Fili looked at him, opened his mouth and then he was gone.
Kili blinked at the blue blanket falling into itself, Lady lifted her head confuse because her back support was gone.
“His eyes aren’t grey, they are blue,” was all he could say in the empty apartment.
Five minutes of silence went by while Kili was going through several stages of disbelief and a slight mental breakdown that he went insane. Mustard Gas, maybe?
He finally noticed that he had proof Fili had been there. That he had not made him up.
First, the wet clothes Fili had worn were still in the washing machine.
Second, “The bastard took my fairy light with him!”
————–
Fili carefully moved Lady away from the door with his foot (the affronted look he got left him feeling guilty) and left Kili’s apartment.
When he had jumped back to the present Kili had not been home and waiting for him felt wrong, invasive even.
He closed the door and went to his own apartment. Happy that he had remebered to put his key and phone in the pants.
He placed the still partly tangled fairy lights on his kitchen table and then changed into cooler clothes. The crass temperature and weather change would mess him up for a few days with a cold and a ground feeling of being in the wrong season. He hated that part.
Now he just had to wait until Kili would return home, give him like half an hour of space and then walk over to have a long talk and explanation of what happened. He was already dreading it.
Half an hour later he could hear keys jingling and a door closing. Alright, now was the time from worrying to having full on anxiety and then calm down before going over. He could do this. He had to, he owed Kili that much.
—————
When Kili opened the door he was facing Fili all of a sudden.
A smiling Fili, holding the detangled fairy lights, in the middel of summer and saying “Merry Christmas, Kili.”
Kili grinned and pulled him inside, “I will make hot cocoa.”

Chapter 7 of 21 Questions
better interface on wattpad
"Your boyfriend texted!" Alex called for her best friend who was in the kitchen, as the phone lit up from a message from Matt🍂.
"My hands are full of batter girl, just tell me what he says and maybe reply for me if it looks important", Lily replied as she was cooking. "And drop the boy in front of friend, unless you put a fucking space between the words.
As she used her fingerprint to unlock Lily's phone, Alex looked at the notification – she didn't want to actually open the message in case it could wait, fearing that she might leave the boy on read. She had been joking for the past month about Lily and her new friend's relationship since she discovered that he went out of his way to send a picture to Lily. This had been enough proof for Alex to start teasing her best friend about a possible romance – pretty pictures of the sky were in fact Lily's love language. Both girls did know it was just for fun, the same way they would qualify famous people as theirs when it was their ultimate celebrity crush.
Furrowing her brows at the phone in front of her, Alex didn't know whether to qualify the text as important or not.
Matt🍂
If I asked you to hide a body for me, would you?
Alex went to the kitchen where Lily was and read her the text, which led to the brunette letting out a laugh.
"Oh my god this kid I swear to god". Lily couldn’t stop laughing as she thought about an answer. "This sounds semi important lol but just tell him that of course I am always down to hide a body, I know a few tricks."
Alex laughed as well – more to her friend's reply than the actual subject – and wrote back a message, trying to imitate Lily's writing style. The two girls influenced each other a lot regarding their texting habits and the way they spoke, thus making it easy for Alex to fake it. Before sending it, she thought it could be funny to actually hold a conversation with the mystery guy as she had only heard about him and still needed to check if he was a good person for Lily.
Matt🍂
If I asked you to hide a body for me, would you?
Heya, your girl's bestie here

You better
I'm gonna delete the last texts so that she gets your text as a surprise
Counting on you bro
Of course, I won't let you or her down
As she deleted the last dozens of messages between her and Matt, Alex then put down the phone and looked up to see Lily smiling at her.
"You were having fun?" Lily asked her best friend. "I couldn't hear you for ten minutes and you looked like you were having fun."
"Oh". Alex was almost embarrassed to be caught enjoying a conversation with her friend's new friend. She shrugged it off and slided the phone back to its owner. "Just checking if the kid deserves your friendship."
"And? What's the verdict, judge Alex?" Lily playfully teased.
"Well, I guess he's not that bad. I trust you and you would have dropped him if he wasn't someone you liked talking to."
Lily's smile grew bigger at Alex's replies and took her arm to lead her to the couch as they would watch TV while waiting for Lily's desserts to cook.
~~~
A few days later and on the eve of Lily's birthday, Alex had everything planned: she was prepared to give her best friend a wonderful twentieth birthday, starting the day before with their out-of-work-coming-back-to-home ritual. As always for the last months, Wednesday meant a new video from the Sturniolo Triplets and Alex had prepared a comfortable scenery for Lily. The couch had been specially opened as a bed, with several blankets carefully folded on it. Snacks were ready and dinner was on its way as Alex had ordered some of Lily's favourites, which were pizza and sushi – damn Matt did get it right, Alex thought back to her conversation with him a few days prior. She hoped he could be part of Lily's happiness tomorrow, and maybe for a while after. Lily had always wished for simple birthdays. The sheer fact of knowing the people she loved took the time to think of her on this day was enough to her. Lily only needed her favourite people around her; just a day spent with her loved ones was the only gift she wished for and this is what Alex tried to stay faithful to, although a couple of surprises felt deserved for the special occasion.
As usual, Lily was coming home almost an hour after the video came out and Alex wasted no time to welcome her friend at the door. She took Lily's bag to put it down and closed the door behind them.
"Now now, just do whatever I say and don't ask questions", Alex ordered Lily who could only comply.
The blonde led her best friend to the bathroom and to Lily's surprise, a bath had been drawn along with a few candles. Pink bubbles could be seen floating on top of the bath and Lily couldn't help but smile. It had been a long day at work – one of those rude customers who were unable to accept that their order was not ready within two seconds after having asked for it – so the girl had been exhausted and her mood started to lift up due to this pleasant surprise.
"I don't want to see you for at least the next half hour", Alex warned her friend. "Enjoy this and stay in it until your skin gets fucking wrinkles, okay?"
Lily nodded with a quiet laugh and got ready to enter the bath as Alex left the room, not without putting on a bit of music to help Lily relax.
Exactly thirty-one minutes later did Lily go back downstairs to see Alex setting up the freshly arrived food on the table in the living room. Lily definitely appreciated the bath and the calm music, but she had felt lonely and only wanted to come back to her friend so that they could do their weekly tradition in honour of a new vlog or challenge from their favourite triplets.
Lily saw the TV already set up to play this day's video which was entitled Chris forced us all to do COLD PLUNGES – it sounded even more chaotic than the previous videos and Lily knew it was possible for them to achieve that.
The two girls sat on the couch and put the food between them as the video started. What was a given from the title is that the triplets were going to bathe in ice cold water and so they had to go to the supermarket to buy ice. As they didn’t find enough – well in Chris’s opinion, the youngest triplet decided to ask if they had more in the back when they were paying. Luckily for them, the cashier managed to bring them more ice, which Chris thanked him for as he put them all in his arms.
“Damn, I feel cold just watching him with all this ice,” Lily said as she shivered. She had always been prone to being cold and getting sick easily so she knew the whole video was going to make her feel uncomfortable even though she wasn’t the one doing the activity with them.
Alex laughed at her friend’s comment and they started laughing even more when Chris wished for more ice, thus getting his brothers to go to another store and ending with a cart full of ice per Chris’s request.
“Okay, this is definitely too much ice like I gotta agree with Nick on this one”, Alex said as she was matching Nick’s apprehensive expression.
“Yeah for real”, Lily approved. “Chris is gonna regret saying that it’s never too much.”
After the bathtub was filled with ice and ice cold water, the triplets were finally ready to do their “cold plunges” as Chris tried to motivate himself by having to pretend to be a can of pepsi. Funnily enough, there had actually been a can of pepsi right before this. Therefore, Chris was the first to go in and he did regret it as he was barely able to put his feet in the bathtub. Followed Nick who imitated Chris with a spider-like position above the bathtub but did not end up fully in – unlike Matt who absolutely did not care and managed to get most of his body in the water.
“I. Am. amazed right now”, Lily commented as she was curled like a ball with a blanket around her. “I don’t know how he accepted the idea and succeeded in doing that. I would surely want to kill my brothers for this crazy situation.”
Alex hummed in agreement with her best friend and they both gasped when a couple of minutes later, Nick also fully went into the bathtub. The two girls then started laughing along with Matt and Chris as Nick ran into the shower while being shocked from what he had just done. After the middle and youngest decided to give it one last try, Lily couldn’t help but comment:
“Wait, I just noticed, is Chris the only one without tattoos?”
“Yeah, Nick and Matt both have an almost full sleeve but Chris doesn’t have any for now”, Alex explained. “I don’t know if he’ll ever get one but he would look great with a couple honestly.”
“I totally agree. And I absolutely love Nick’s and Matt’s tattoos, I might have to look at them more clearly to get a few inspirations for if I ever decide to get tattooed.” Lily was in awe of the triplets at the moment: since she started to follow them, Lily had to admit that they were all good-looking and tattoos really added something to their charm. “Also if I can say, Matt is slaying with the beard.”
“Right?” Alex exclaimed. “That was such a good move from him and I hope he’s gonna keep it for a while.”
As the girls kept talking after watching the video, Lily was feeling so much better. The simple things like spending time with her favourite person and eating her favourite foods were all Lily could ask for to enjoy life.
The night being still young, the two girls decided to watch some of their favourite Disney movies, such as Cars or Inside Out. They had a passion for animated movies that quickly brought them together when their friendship had started and everytime a new movie would come out, they would go see it together at the cinema. Lily and Alex had had this routine for a few years and none of them would ever trade the way they lived.
It was finally the actual date of Lily's birthday. As she had already spent a really nice evening the day before with Alex, she wasn't expecting much when she woke up. Obviously, everyone at the café had been giving a day off as the four coworkers were planning to maybe hang out to celebrate Lily's twentieth birthday.
As it had happened last year as well – since the two girls started living together, both Lily's and Alex's parents called her to wish her a good day and catch up on what was new. The two families had been close since the two became best friends and would often have get-together, even as Lily and Alex moved out from their family houses.
After an hour spent talking to her parents and "second" parents, Lily received a message from the group chat with her friends.
Alexxx🫶🏻
Just went to give back a plate to the neighbour
Yk she cooked us the muffins last week
Oooh ye i remember
Ig I'll get ready then
What Lily didn't know is that Alex was absolutely not at their neighbour's. The plate had been given back a few days ago already but Alex took the opportunity of Lily forgetting to use that excuse. In reality, the blonde was at the bakery to get the birthday cake she had ordered: Lily's favourite, which was a triple chocolate cake with some fresh fruits on the top.
~~~
When she came home, Alex was right on time as Lily was descending the stairs. Alex went up to her best friend to wish her happy birthday for the tenth time – she had already said it the day before as a pre-birthday celebration, then at midnight, then she had sent a couple of texts to Lily during the night. The two girls hugged for a few minutes then let go as it was almost time for their friends to arrive. The four of them were all used to being punctual so it wasn't a surprise when at five to twelve, the doorbell rang. Lucas had picked Jade up as they were living near each other. Lily being ready and Alex having prepared what she needed earlier in the morning, they all decided to go. As agreed, Lucas drove his three friends to the secret place – secret only to Lily obviously – and for the whole ride, he had let the birthday girl choose the music, which was a once in a blue moon occasion for Lucas was very picky with what type of music was played in his car. Well, today was a special day and Lily took advantage of it.
After a ride full of pop music, the four friends arrived at the Weeki Wachee Spring State Park. It was not just a simple park, but it was filled with attractions and animals, appealing to both children and adults. Alex had purchased tickets knowing how much Lily loved nature and just walking around while admiring the beauty of the world they had the chance to live in. Speaking of the devil, Lilt was ecstatic when she realised where they were. She had been wanting to go there for a while but never had the chance so she was really excited to finally visit it. The weather was perfect for a day out and Alex knew it was because her friend brought happiness and warmth everywhere she went, just like the sun would.
After checking in, the group let Jade guide them as she had been to the place a couple of times and knew exactly where to bring Lily to make her have the best day ever. Lucas had brought some food and so once in a while they would just sit on a bench to eat as they appreciated what Mother Nature gave them. For the whole afternoon, they simply walked around and as Lily was smiling at every turn, her three friends could only be happy as well that she was having an amazing day.
As they were leaving the park due to it closing and coming back to Lucas's car, Jade suddenly gasped.
"Oh my god fuck–"
"What's wrong?" Lily immediately asked, afraid that her friend was in trouble.
"Oh sorry, I was just looking for my cardigan in my bag. I was so sure I packed it," Jade explained.
"Wait, do you mean the one you had on yesterday?" Lucas tried to confirm. "The brown one?"
"How did you know?"
"I'm pretty sure I saw it on the couch in the break room", Lucas replied.
Jade faced her friend as if he had revealed the world's biggest secret to her. The sad expression on her face was enough for Lily to react.
"Well, tomorrow is your day off so that would mean you won't get it back till Saturday. We can get it before coming home if you want, it's on the way." Lily suggested as she didn't want one of her friends to experience an issue.
Jade quickly thanked Lily for offering and so they all decided to make a quick stop by their workplace. Little did Lily know, she was so predictable that this whole conversation had been rehearsed and planned by her friends. Indeed, they knew the brunette would never let Jade go home without her beloved cardigan – which was actually at the café, but Jade didn't give a fuck about it as she could literally come get it the next day even if she didn't have a shift. It was usual for one of them to just come to the café and act as a customer who was absolutely not working there.
When they arrived at the café, Lily was the first to leave the car and take her keys to open the door. She was fully expecting it to take five minutes maximum as she just needed to go into the break room, take the cardigan and come back outside so that her friends didn't have anything to do – which was still according to their plan. As a matter of fact, when Lily entered the main room where most of the chairs and tables were, she actually stopped in her tracks and wondered why some of the chairs were down. Had she forgotten to put them all on the tables when she closed yesterday? To be sure of what she thought she was seeing, Lily turned the light on and was faced with a surprise. Nothing could have prepared her for the huge sign that was reading HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY and the heart balloons over the counter.
Turning back to the door through which she entered, Lily was met with her friends all smiling and singing to her. How had she not seen it coming? Lily had just expected the afternoon at the park to be the only thing they had planned, along with a small diner back at her house. She was still harbouring a shocked expression when Alex quickly slipped behind her to go open the fridge and took out the cake she had bought this morning. As she lit up twenty candles on the cake, Alex, Jade and Lucas started again to sing to Lily. When the cake was put down on the only table without any chair on it, they all sat down and told Lily to make a wish, which she did while blowing out her candles. Following some laughter during the explanations of how Alex had lied this morning as well as how Lucas and Jade had come in early to decorate the café, the four friends enjoyed the cake and discussed some memories of previous birthdays they had experienced together. Although Jade and Lucas had only been working with Lily and Alex for less than two years, it was enough for the four of them to develop a close bond.
After they finished eating, Jade, Lucas and Alex went to the break room to retrieve the gifts they had for Lily – plus the brown cardigan that Jade remembered. They all gave their presents to Lily, who started crying when opening them – emotions are really overwhelming sometimes. Lucas had bought her new headphones as her old ones stopped working a few weeks ago. They were decorated with heart and flower stickers which Lily found adorable. Jade, as a fan of crafts, had made her a set composed of a mug, a plate and a bowl that were all painted with Lily's favourite colour. Finally, Alex had bought her a Care Bear – the "Tenderheart" one, which was perfect to symbolise the girls' relationship. Lily thanked them all for their friendship and told them how glad she was to have them in her life as she hugged them first individually then decided she wanted a group hug.
Lily would never trade her friends for anything else and as she came home with Alex after bidding goodbye to Jade and Lucas who had dropped them off, she realised that another friend of hers was starting to be also important to her. Indeed, as she hadn't checked her phone since they left the park, Lily saw that she had actually received a birthday message a few hours ago from her new friend Matt, which brought a smile onto her face.

To you.
Hey.
I hope this message finds you well.
And I hope you find it at all.
Before I begin, I'd like to say that this could be potentially triggering to read. But I had to write this out to let you know what's going on.
It's actually probably more for me, to be honest. To write out my feelings and be able to organize some of my thoughts for me to better navigate them.
I've made the judgment call that it's probably best that we don't talk for a while. I don't even know if I should apologize or not, because I'm unable to tell if you even want to associate with me anymore.
I've found myself torn the last few days trying to figure out what I wanted. I would feel sad, angry, and depressed when you wouldn't talk to me or give me a reply that I was satisfied with. But when you did reply with something I was okay with, or when I did spend time with you, it just felt..numb. We've both been using that word pretty frequently lately, haven't we.
Considering the possibility of you actually liking someone else, regardless of whether or not you choose to pursue that, would put me in a state of mind that I am incapable of dealing with at the moment. While I've detached quite a bit the last week or so, I still am sure that I would not be able to handle it.
In any case, I'd like to thank you for a beautiful fleeting moment within my life. It was brief. But more than anything, it felt like happiness. Perhaps too much, as we spoke about. I will apologize for not understanding how your BPD affects you and how to work around it. I didn't realize that chasing the highs would create lower lows, and I'm sorry that I potentially contributed to that for you. I've been doing tons of research about how to interact with people with BPD, and like we've discussed before, I am suspecting myself to have BPD and will be going to therapy hopefully soon to address my concerns.
I became extremely attached to you, and I was ping ponged around. I was told I was liked. I was told that your intentions were to be together forever. I was told that you might like someone else. I was told you weren't ready for a relationship. I was told you don't know your intentions anymore. I was told you really do like me. I was told you wanted my attention. I was told I was wasting my time. I was told sorry.
The day you told me that you think you like someone else, I lost it. I tried to keep my cool, I really did. But that day, there were multiple times I nearly ended it. I drove to the beach, and my mind was SCREAMING at me to just turn the wheel while I was on the highway. I literally had to scream out loud myself in order to shut out the urge.
When I arrived at the beach, I found a fairly high cliff that I took solace in, but those voices spoke to me yet again. It was a high place. I had to lie down in order to prevent myself from giving in. I walked up to the waves and they were beckoning for me to join their recession back into ocean.
You told me you didn't want to stop talking to me completely. But I've initiated everything since. And you've continuously spent more and more time with the guy you said you maybe liked or had a crush on. Except without me this time.
I feel nothing but coldness from you now. As friends, that is okay. But my mind still cannot see us as just friends quite yet.
I really cannot blame you for any of this, considering these are textbook examples of BPD behaviors. But still, as someone who is potentially BPD also, these are things that tore me to shreds. And it's caused me to spiral completely out of my control.
I will tell you everything that's been going on behind the scenes with me, and how badly I've been dealing with this.
I've been staring at my computer screen for hours on end. I am constantly checking your blogs to see if you've posted anything new or anything about me. I'm always checking your twitter. I'm constantly checking your status on discord. My heart drops if I see you online, because I know what's coming (or not, rather.)
And I wait. I wait to see if you will initiate a conversation with me. I wait to see if you will invite me to play. I wait to see what your next move is, but there is no next move.
I have been staying up overnight due to the inability to sleep, and it helped because at some point passed 24 straight hours of being awake, I began to feel numb. Not only that, but it helped because I wouldn't have the insecurity-attacking dreams I'm so very fond of.
I've been avoiding people. I've been irritable. I've been angry. I've been depressed. I've been numb. I've even been content. I've been feeling so many different emotions and I cannot regulate ANY of them. Any single one of them could occur at any given moment, and it's been fucking with me so hard because I haven't dealt with this before. At least not with this intensity.
The day I went to the beach, I needed something. So I picked up smoking again.
The day before my birthday, I began to self harm. Five days later as I'm writing this, there is fresh blood drying on me.
I never thought I'd be pushed to this, but I think allowing myself to be vulnerable again after 6 years only to be brought to what arguably is my lowest point, in such a short amount of time, I'm just looking for any way possible to distract myself from the pain and disappointment I'm experiencing.
I will be blocking you from here onwards on discord, and I will probably no longer be using twitter as it has been terrible for my mental health as well. Again, I would say I'm sorry, but with the way things have been, I don't know if it matters to you or not. That may be selfish of me to say knowing your history with BPD, but at some point, I need to prioritize myself and be selfish once in a while.
I will say I'm sorry for the situation as a whole. I truly felt something genuine for you, and I felt that we could make it work. But I was a fool to think that I was capable of handling the type of emotional burden you hold within you while not even being able to handle my own.
I still hold love for you. I've known you for years. So please take care while I'm gone. I hope that if you need it, you seek help and receive it. I hope that if you pursue a relationship, it goes well for you.
I will still be around if you need me. You have my phone number. But if you contact me, please tell me your intentions.
Thank you. For everything.

i have a classmate from high school. we carpooled from school together for several years, so for those years, we spent a lot of time together and i'd say we were pretty friendly. towards the end of high school, we no longer carpooled, and we also naturally veered towards our own interests. but it was a pretty small school so we were still talking like every day.
i think maybe that over those years, we might have spent too much time together. because towards the end of high school, there were some times when i felt annoyed by her. but again, we were still friends.
after high school, we only sent birthday greetings, occasionally holiday greetings. i generally send birthday greetings to all of my friends but it's not common to receive them. she was one of the few who consistently did so, so to be polite, i returned them. it's continued on to this day, over 10 years later. we exchange greetings, we update each other. it's extremely civil.
despite keeping this ongoing correspondence, i have no interest in deepening (or re-deepening our friendship). i thought that perhaps some of it was jealousy and resentment. she's found great career success. she's getting married today (has been engaged since last year). meanwhile, i'm the loser who's never moved out, never worked for a big internationally company like her, never moved to a whole new different place for work and established independence. maybe because we spent so much time together as young people, i can't help but measure myself up against her.
i'm not sure if there's something else that makes me not want to spend time with her. maybe it is those small things that made me annoyed with her when we were in high school. which is completely unfair. i was 2000% cringey and annoying as fuck as a teenager. other people are allowed the same.
over the past year, every time we've corresponded, she's brought up her engagement/marriage. i say congratulations every time. weddings are a happy occasion. she also talks a lot about her situation, and i barely share much about mine. again, maybe it's the inferiority i feel. normally i feel resentment over not being asked questions. but i'm very whatever about it in this case because i don't have intentions on carrying out this conversation for too long.
since she kept bringing up her wedding, i thought i would just send her a quick congratulations message today, which is when she's getting married. she responded and said that maybe we could meet up in the future, next time she's in town. which i don't want to do. i very much see our relationship as parallel lines that only cross very occasionally (through quick birthday messages).
which i feel guilty about because literally what should i be holding against her? something she did or said in high school? clearly she never held anything against me so i know i'm being an asshole. but i just don't feel comfortable meeting up.
we have a mutual friend who i still meet up with regularly. this mutual friend has admitted to me that she hasn't contacted this friend at all ever since high school. so maybe i'm one of the few people that the friend still keeps in touch with.
i'm figuring out how to respond to the message without outright saying that i don't want to meet up. maybe i'll reply with a thumbs up emoji after like a week to show lack of enthusiasm. it's not like this meetup will happen in the near future anyway because she lives in another city on the other side of the country. i have no plans on visiting there, and i suspect she doesn't come back all that often.
people looking in on the outside will probably say that i need therapy or something. i agree with that. but for now i've been enjoying a very civil acquaintanceship where we painfully exchange messages and i would prefer to keep it that way.

Confession Of A Shy Person - ITZY Chaeryeong x M! Reader
Tw: +18, smut
Tumblr media
How can a shy person confess? When we all know confessions are hard, most often times, it's even impossible, whether it be a difference in social status. Insecurities about your appearance or in this case an extremely shy person and also not wanting to ruin a really good friendship.
Chaeryeong has thought hard and long. After almost 3 months and 2 weeks of planning she has finally convinced herself. She can do this...
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
"I can't do this." She whispered to Yuna as she immediately runs back after seeing you sitting on the meeting place she told you about and Yuna just stood there dumbfounded by what just happened.
......................
You weren't aware of anything, but as a good friend you accepted her invitation and thought it was just having a little get together with Chaeryeong and her friends.
Chaeryeong has been your friend since the start of college. After you got lost on your first day and she helped you find your classroom.
After that encounter both of you got comfortable with each other, then she introduced you to her friends.
Consisting of Yeji, which seems to be their 'leader' of some sorts, followed with Lia who's radiating too much rich older sis vibe, then Ryujin, she's like the campus crush, and lastly the Energetic Yuna.
At first you're worried that you wouldn't fit in, until they start teasing you and Chaeryeong to be dating that you just got used to their company.
They'd often invite you to their hangouts and you couldn't say no, after all they're only the only friends you have since moving to Seoul.
You thought you'd be closer to them even more, well most of them that is the case but with Chaeryeong seemed more distant now, only talking to you when you initiate it.
Of course you had no idea why that is, thinking it was because of the teasing her friends made that caused this to happen.
In Chaeryeong's defense, she did like you the very start. A timid, kind and quiet person that she encountered and helped. You were so grateful that you bought her a whole lunch.
What made the matters even worst is, as soon as she introduced you to her friends and the teasing began she didn't have any chance at all, other than to admit that she actually has feelings for you.
Though that was months ago and after a thorough planning she'd come up with the perfect way to confess her feelings.
Society might deem it to be unusual for a girl to confess to a boy but after consulting her friends with the matter they all agreed and supported her.
You actually find it odd that at some point they actually stopped teasing you with Chaeryeong but greatly appreciated since you know Chaeryeong didn't feel comfortable with it as well.
So, now as you sat down waiting for Chaeryeong to arrive which was supposedly 30 mins earlier you decided to text her. However you haven't even reached to your pocket Yuna appears right beside you and you two decided to talk.
Meanwhile at the back of the building the other girl's are waiting for the outcome. All of them were excited till they see Chaeryeong running frantically towards them.
"Oh no." Ryujin whispered under her breath.
"What happened?" Lia asked after Chaeryeong got close enough.
Yeji hugged Chaeryeong as she was shaking so much. Everyone else immediate went in for a hug and comfort her as well.
As all of those as happening you and Yuna are still at the said place you were so supposed to me Chaeryeong at.
"What happened again?" You curiously asked Yuna as she smiles innocently.
"Chaeryeong had something to do." Yuna answers.
"She could've messaged me right?" You replied
"Yup, but I guess she wanted to message me before you." You got more curious at what's happening with Chaery. As Yuna just stood there with a mischievous smile.
On the other side of the coin Chaeryeong finally calmed down with the help of her unnies. They all decided to take a small break in the café nearby.
"You really chickened out?" Ryujin asked.
"Come on Ryujin, you know how shy Ryeongchae is about this stuff." Yeji answered
"You shouldn't! It's love... can you just be... i don't know... not shy ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ?" Ryujin replied.
"I'm sorry but I can't, you know how it is! And it's not just because I'm shy, it's also because my friend! He's like one of you girls! My bestfriend." Chaeryeong answered.
"I'm scared that if I tell him about my feelings and he doesn't have the same, it would just lead to our friendship being broken." She added and everyone went quiet.
"Tell us again, what did you exactly like about him?" Lia asked enthusiastically and everyone nodded in agreement with the question.
"Haven't I told you enough?" Chaeryeong visibly confused as granted she did have privately talked about her feelings for you to her unnies even Yuna in their own group chat.
"Come on, maybe we can think of a better way for you to confess to him once we've got to know about what you like about him even more." Yeji added and both Ryujin and Lia just nodded.
"Fine!" Chaeryeong defeated as she mustered all of her might to talk about you one more time.
"As Yeji-unnie said, I'm shy about stuffs like this even before I met him. He's this lost 'cute' guy at the campus. So, as a model student I decided to help him. He was so thankful for what I did and I actually didn't do anything because he's the same class as me." The three girls listening smiled when Chaeryeong said 'cute'.
"Then I regretfully introduce him to you and what's the first thing you do? Immediately tease me with him! Saying I have a boyfriend when we're in public." She fake-angrily spew.
"But, if I'm being honest, even if you didn't tease me to him. I'd definitely fall in love with him..." Everyone covers their mouth in shock.
"I know, I know, it's not just a simple crush I know there's something deeper and I've been denying it for far too long, but having to see him there sitting and waiting keeps making me shy to the point where I can just dig a hole and hide there forever."
"After today, I think I will never have the courage to tell him how I feel." Chaeryeong ended and her Unnies are just wide eyeing her.
"Uh... h-he's behind me isn't he?" She asked and they all nodded weakly.
It was like a strawberry getting hyper ripened in front of her Unnies eyes, Chaeryeong develops a frightening red blush as she realized the situation.
"How long?" Chaeryeong whispered.
"Since Lia asked." Yeji replied with a cheeky smile.
"I hate you!" Chaeryeong whisper-screamed and everyone smiled.
"I think we should give these two some time to talk." Yuna suggested as she sat you down infront of Chaeryeong and pulled her unnies away.
"Good luck." Yuna whispered to Chaeryeong.
After all of the other participants exit the cafe, it's just you and Chaeryeong with this awkward tension.
"So... y-you... like m-me?" You nervously asked wanting to break the deafening silence.
However Chaeryeong didn't answer as she just sat there with her head down with her ears visibly red
"I-i'm sorry... I know I shouldn't have eavesdrop. I was just concern about u-us. Lately you've been distant to me and I don't know why, not until now... and knowing that y-you had these feelings for me, helped me realize something..."
"I've been avoiding it as well but ever since I saw you the first day of college... when you helped me, I couldn't help myself but to fall for you. You have always been a good friend to me, even introducing me to your group of friends." With that Chaeryeong finally lifts her head up and looked at you.
"Chaery you don't have to be afraid of breaking our relationship... quite in fact why don't we upgrade it?" You asked with a smile on your face offering a hand to Chaeryeong.
The world went slow motion for a minute as a smile forms across the blushing girl's face. She bit her lip before a cute little chuckle escapes her lips.
"You're so cheesy." Chaeryeong cringing at you.
"I'm s-sorry." You replied with a hint of shame in your face.
"So, what do you say?" You extended your hand to Chaeryeong as she just sat there and examined it.
"Will you be MY Chaery?" You asked as a long sullen silence fills the room and you can feel everyone's attention centering towards you.
"Chaeryeong, please answer I'm really getting shy right now." You whispered as another cute chuckle escapes her lips right before reaching for your hand and immediately running out of the cafe.
"Unnies! Can you pay for the coffees? I'll treat you all when we come back!" Both of you run pass her unnies and Yuna as they just shrugged and laughed at the two of you.
Hand in hand. Without the hint of sadness both you and your Chaery just decided that it's your world. A world where all of your attentions are focused on just the two of you and nobody else.
....................
Tumblr media
The day went by quick. Considering both you and Chaeryeong had a ton of fun on your first date as a couple.
As a young couple both of you didn't want it to end. So, what did both of you resulted in doing? Yup. Overnight.
Your parents aren't strict and since both of you have already introduced each other to all of them it didn't take that much work for both of you to convince them.
Currently in your room, you both settled in after a dinner with your family. They're delighted that you're now dating even Chaeryeong's parents which was the first house you came to, to announce it.
Now that the night is nearly over, you lay on your bed, quite nervous to be honest. This is your first time sleeping with a friend, your GIRLFRIEND.
You shook your head lightly slapping yourself to try and calm down then the bathroom door opens and your attention quickly shifted as she made her way to your bed, quickly laying right next to you
You can't lie to yourself being a healthy young teen that you are, you've had your fair share of glances towards Chaery.
People often aren't that attracted to her but that wasn't the case for you. You've fallen head over heels for her since the day you've met but too shy to admit it.
Now there she is. In her comfy sleepwear which reveals most of her skin and god you weren't ready.
Those silky soft thighs are inches away from your hand as you quicky retracted it. Chaery notices it and chuckles.
"What's wrong?" She asked in a cute voice curious on what's on your mind.
"N-nothing. I-it's just I'm nervous, it's my first t-time sleeping with a girlfriend." A stuttering mess that you are. Chaery chuckled hesitantly this time.
"A-actually, I'm n-nervous too..." She replied.
"But maybe... if we..." She inches closer and your heart must've skipped like 40 beats or something.
A loud gulp echoed as you try to calm yourself with Chaeryeong still inching closer, till [HUG]. You're more than surprised that she did this considering how shy she is specially when it comes to skinship.
"Maybe if we got comfortable with each others touch we can lower each other's shyness." She suggested suddenly placing her juicy thigh on yours.
You had no choice but to reciprocate and hug her back, tightening the proximity even more to the point where her chest was pressed against yours.
Feeling her body on you was... HEAVENLY. You can't deny it even before all of this happened you can clearly say she took care of her physical health.
You feel your little buddy twitch under your shorts causing you to slightly shift backwards a little.
Chaeryeong notices this and lifted her head from your chest.
"What happened?" She asked.
"N-nothing, i-it's just..." You try to think of anything to explain it but your mind just went blank.
"This?" Chaeryeong's hand traveled too quick for you to anticipate and she immediately reached your clothed manhood.
"W-why is it hard?" She innocently asked.
"Y-you..." You whispered.
"What?" Chaeryeong clearly didn't hear you.
"I said because of you." You respond.
"What did I even do?" She asked as she slowly caress your ever growing erection.
"T-this." You replied reaching in her inner thigh a gasp escapes her lips and you swear it's the sexiest sound you could've ever heard.
"Hmmm." Both of you are now touching, feeling and grinding on each other's hand trying to alleviate the heat you're currently experiencing.
An eye contact between you to and you got pulled in by Chaeryeong for a passionate kiss where immediately tongues are introduced.
Battle for dominance was taking place as she frustratingly lets go of your clothed rod and tug your shirt.
You slowly took your shirt off and seeing Chaery's reaction actually made you chuckle. She was fake covering her eyes with gaps for her to actually see you topless.
"Seriously?" You asked as she responds by pulling you on top of her and resuming your make out session.
Slowly Chaeryeong's top comes off as well, you failed to notice it till both of you pulled away as she had to pass it through her head.
Dimly lit room failed to do you justice as you wanted so bad to admire her features but fuck it, feeling it pressed against yours was a hundred times better.
The fact that she wasn't wearing a bra made it so that at the first contact you'd immediately feel her hardened nipples. You decided to take a quick turn and slightly lower your kisses down.
From her lips, you detached and placed soft and subtle kisses on her chin. Light nibbles on her neck and making your way to her breast.
They weren't the biggest but they sure are soft. You took one of the pair in your hand and gently squeeze. You aren't done yet as you took the other one and suck on the bud.
This cause Chaery to moan out loud but quickly covering her mouth to suppress excess sounds that might alert other people in the house.
You, however continued to work wonders and switching back and forth between the two mounds in your possession.
"Mhmmm..." Chaeryeong dug her fingers to your hair pulling you in to hopefully further extend the sensation but she wasn't having enough... it wasn't enough she knows she needs more of you.
Chaeryeong pulls you up and with a disappointing grunt you made your way up to her face once more both of chuckled at how wet your lips are so as her boobs. She suddenly switched back to her shy self as she lightly tugs on your shorts while looking away.
"Uhm..." You whispered as shifts her look towards you.
She then skillfully removes her shorts along with her underwear and quickly pulling the blanket to cover both of you.
You're currently on top of Chaeryeong's naked sweaty body, you can actually feel the heat radiating from her core as it is inches away from your fully hardened member.
"You're so beautiful." Was the only thing you can conjure up at the moment. That was a misstep as she looks away with a blush on her cheeks.
"I'm serious." You took the liberty to turn her head towards you once more making sure your eyes are locked on to each other.
"I-it's my first." She whispered without breaking the eye contact.
"So is mine." She smiled at your response knowing that this experience will be special for both of you.
"Protection?" She asked and luckily you've come prepared.
Don't get it wrong it was one of those pranks from your dad where he even teased you with 'you're an adult now, so be careful'.
You took the condom in your wallet and immediate put it on, honestly you're against it given it's your first and of course you want to experience it as raw as you can so you you're quite hesitant as you align it on Chaery's entrance.
Chaeryeong noticed it and taps your nose to get your attention. She then flashed that iconic smile paired with a lustful lip bite before lining her lips to your ear and whispering
"Take it off."
God, can this girl get any more lovable. You thought to yourself excitedly removing the annoying rubber. Lining your self up to her entrance once more...
Both of you looked at each other and a flash of happiness in her eyes gave you a urge to do your best for not just your first time but also for her.
Slowly going in, she was already so wet from your earlier work on her chest that she didn't need any more teasing.
You have to admit that nothing can compare to what you're currently experiencing. The way her walls clasps you was otherworldly and that slow sultry moan that escaped her was music to your ears.
Slowly thrusting you feel Chaery's legs locked behind you and pushing you in deeper that almost made you cum, luckily you fought the urge and decided to quickly pull back only to be pulled in once more.
This battle was repeated countless times as Chaeryeong's gasps fills your room. You started going in a bit faster and harder and Chaeryeong really felt it, as well as her orgasm coming close. She pulls your upper body to lay on her before taking your earlobe and biting into it.
"You're so good~" Her hot breath tickles your ears only to encourage you to double your efforts.
And double your efforts it is as she immediately lock your lips with hers to muffle the moans that could've woken up your neighbors.
Finally reaching her apex she pulled you in as deep as you can, feeling her liquid flooding your rod inside her was HOT.
"Haaa~ mhmmm~" She moaned trying to catch her breath.
You on the other hand started thrusting once again. She didn't protest instead encourage you with a nod.
You can actually feel your climax coming soon as her hot thighs locks you inside her. Concerned that a unwanted thing can happen you lean to her ear to ask for permission.
"I'm close..." You say grunting as you keep on thrusting as she tussles your hair.
"Out." She answered as both of you smiled at each other.
In no time your orgasm came and you immediately pulled out painting her flat toned tummy with your love.
With the two of you exhausted, you just layed beside her and kiss the top of her head. Minutes after catching your breath she stood up and took your shirt wiping off your stains on her tummy.
Despite the nudity and the erotic image presented to you. You couldn't help but describe it as...
"Cute."
She took a pillow as a support as she leans forward and smiled at you
Tumblr media
"I love you." She tried her best to lower her voice but you still heard it. You smiled and place a quick peck on her lips before responding...
"I love you too."

AKAASHI
Chances are he got to engrossed in work because it’s not like akaashi to forget something like this
Really, he remembers almost everything when it comes to you so when you were still sat alone at 10pm on your birthday, you began to worry something had happened to him
There was no dinner ready and you hadn’t dressed up yet, thinking Keiji would come home and tell you what you were doing
Yet you found yourself ringing his phone for the 5th time that night, this time he answered
“What y/n I’m really busy?” His tone led you to believe he wasn’t in the best mood
You asked him when he would be home and that seemed to set him off
“I told you i had to do things today okay, I won’t be home until later I don’t get why you have to know what I’m doing all the time. Think about me for once”
And with that you hung up, it was obvious what had happened.
Keiji felt guilty yeah, but he did need to work and he knew that he could just apologise when he got home. Sure, it wasn’t like you to just hang up but he figured you were also tired from the long week and left it at that. It wasn’t until he opened his messages he felt his blood freeze.
There, screaming at him from the screen of his phone, was a text from bokuto that read ‘hey, y/n isn’t picking up could you say happy birthday for me man?’
He had to get home.
-
By the time the black haired man had arrived back home, he was soaked from the rain and biting at his nails nervously. The lights in the house were all off and he just hoped to god that you were still inside the house. Even though it would be perfectly within your right to not be.
The living room held a silence that he had never quite hated as much as he did now. The pile of openers cards from your friends seemed to taunt him from the coffee table. How had even atsumu remembered and he hadn’t? He was your boyfriend. He hoped he would still be when he finally found you. You were curled up on your side in your bedroom. Obviously not asleep but not showing any signs of acknowledgment either. Guilt tugged at his stomach.
“Y/n” he started, trailing off
What was he supposed to say to you? ‘Hey sorry I forgot your birthday and called you selfish’. Yeah, great going Keiji.
“Y/n I’m really sorry and I know that probably won’t make it better and I can’t take back what I said to you.” He drew in a shaky breath, “I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to forget about you I’ve just been working so hard and-“
A sob cut him off. His soft hand on your shoulder broke your resolve and you allowed him to turn you around.
“Just,” you sobbed, “please don’t do it again Keiji, all I do is think about you”
He wrapped his arms around your shaking form, pulling you into his embrace.
“I know, I should’ve been thinking more about you. I’m so sorry sweetheart, I promise I’ll make it up to you tomorrow”

IWAIZUMI
Tumblr media
Hajime had always been a pretty busy person, this was evident ever since you started dating
Now it was his final year though, you had never seen him more stressed
So, you decided to show up to one of his practices on your birthday, for the past 2 years he had always left early or at least with you when it was a special date
And it was your birthday but that didn’t mean you couldn’t treat him too and you know how hard he had been working, so you made a bento
The moment you walked in to the gym it was like everyone but him lit up, the third years came over to say hi and even Kyoutani sent you a quick nod
You tapped your boyfriend on the shoulder and when he didn’t reply you went for a hug, only for him to move at the last minute
“Why are you here y/n?” He asked coldly
You explained to him that you wanted to come see him like always, not mentioning your birthday in case it was a joke, he wasn’t laughing
“A little clingy don’t you think? You text me all day and now you come and interrupt practice? Why are you so needy today damn?”
You just turned and walked out, hoping nobody had heard your conversation
“Hey Iwa aren’t you gonna leave early?” Matsukawa asked him at the end of practice.
“No, why?” He had calmed down significantly now and had forgotten what he said to you
“Uh… cause it’s y/n’s birthday?” Makki called from behind the net, “you do it every year, right?”
Iwa dragged his hands down his face. He had been too stressed to even remember what day it was let alone your birthday. And now he had forgotten you completely after making those comments.
“Why would they want to?” Kyoutani growled up from his sweeping, “after what you said to them”
A dozen pairs of eyes seemed to bore into his soul. Guilt had stolen his breath and his head was spinning but he knew he had to go and fix this before it was too late.
-
You were sat on the cold step of your house, sobbing into the sleeves of one of your boyfriends jumpers. You should probably give that back. If your conversation earlier was anything to go by then he wouldn’t be keeping you around much longer. Staring at the fabric, now stained with your tears, you thought about what he said. Maybe you were clingy.
“Y/n!”
You looked up to see a very out of breath Iwaizumi runnning towards you, face flushed
Looking down, you grumbled a quick ‘what?’. You were hurt and the balloons attached to your bag were smacking against the side of your house as if taunting you.
“You know Iwaizumi” he flinched at the use of his last name, “if you wanted to break up, you could at least have the decency not to do it on my birthday”
“No y/n, I would never- I don’t want to break up” he cried, words were failing but he carried on, “I’ve been so stressed looking after the team and Oikawa with his knee I just forgot”
When your eyes met it felt like his heart had broken in two. Your eyes were glistening with unshed tears and you had obvious tear tracks down your face. A nod let him know it was okay to carry on.
“Please, I’m sorry baby I didn’t mean to forget, can we try again tomorrow? I’d never hurt you on purpose”
Tears began running down your cheeks again.
You nodded and the man pulled you in for a kiss, not caring about the taste of your salty tears. Murmuring ‘I love you’ against your lips, he pulled you in as close as he could to you. Like he would never let you go.
It might not have been the best birthday but you were content knowing he would always try his best to make up for the things he does.

Hello, lovely, Jess! If you're open to a prompt, could you maybe do one with Lena texting Alex letting her know she'd be out of town, and Alex lets her know she's with Kara and Lena asks how's she doing and Alex tells her. Lena changes her plans (it could go either way with her postponing her trip or calling Kara up and inviting her to come along since they both could use each other's company with everything that's happened plus Kara leaning in and all that they have some things to talk about).
Based loosely on this prompt but also what I wanted to happen at the end of the episode.
---
Kara’s page is still blank, besides the title blinking back at her. She’d told Alex she knew what she was going to write for her article, but words aren’t forming in her mind, it keeps slipping back, to that fear, to that cold, the only thing keeping her grounded right now is Alex still pressed into her side.
So, she focuses on that instead, on her sister’s warmth, her steady heartbeat, the smell of her shampoo and the sound of each breath, reminding Kara that she’s still here, that she’s home.
Kara hears the message tone of Alex’s phone sound from her sister’s pocket, hears her sister shuffle slightly to get access to it. She wonders if it’s Kelly, wondering where her girlfriend is. She selfishly hopes it isn’t, hopes Alex doesn’t have to leave, hopes her sister will stay a bit longer. She’d meant what she said before, she doesn’t want to be alone anymore.
“Lena’s leaving.”
The words startle Kara. She knows, she’s been trying very hard not to think about it. She swallows. “I know, she called me earlier.” It had been a hard conversation, Kara almost asking her to stay as Lena told her she was leaving. But she hadn’t, she’d bit her tongue, held back her tears, and wished Lena good luck. She didn’t want to be selfish with Lena, she wanted her to be able to find the answers she was looking for, she deserves that much.
But that doesn’t mean she’s not upset that she’s leaving, that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t wish Lena could’ve stayed here, with her.
“Hey, are you okay?” Alex asks, Kara not realising that tears are spilling from her eyes again until Alex wipes a hand across her cheek.
“I-“ The words get caught in her throat as Alex wraps her arms around her again. She presses her face into Alex’s shoulder, her breaths coming in gasps as she thinks more about Lena, how she’s going away, how she won’t be near, how she won’t be able to just listen for her heartbeat across the city or drop on her balcony to see her.
She wonders if she listens now, will she still be able to hear Lena’s heartbeat? Or has she already left.
She doesn’t test the idea, not sure how she’ll react if she can’t hear it now.
“I’ve got you, you’re home,” Alex says, whispering reassurances as she holds Kara, Kara’s breaths coming quicker at the words, turning to sobs because she is home, but Lena’s also her home, and she’s acutely aware that she’s missing.
Eventually, Kara’s breathing slows, as she focuses on Alex, on her warm hand on her back and the quiet words she’s still whispering. She wipes at her eyes, shifts so her head falls to Alex’s shoulder, not quite ready to let her go but also not wanting to look her in the eye yet either.
Alex moves again, not away, but she reaches for her phone once more. Kara wonders if she’s texting Kelly, to tell her she won’t be home tonight.
She asks just in case.
“Will you stay tonight?”
“Of course.” Alex squeezes her hand. “I’m not going anywhere.”
They sit like that for a while longer, Kara listening to Alex tell her stories of things she’d missed while she was away. Only the good things, Kara notices, but she likes that, likes to imagine that if she had never come back, they’d all be okay.
A knock at the door cuts Alex off mid sentence, both turning to glance at the door from their position still seated on the floor.
“I’ll get it, don’t worry, it’s probably just Kelly,” Alex says, pressing a kiss to the side of Kara’s head as she stands.
Kara doesn’t check, just turns back to her computer screen, the blank page almost taunting her now. Andrea is not going to be happy if she doesn’t write anything, but Kara finds right now, she doesn’t care.
“Lena?”
The name catches Kara’s attention, her eyes flashing quickly to where Alex is at the door, and there, standing in her doorway, is Lena.
Kara’s breath catches as Lena’s eyes meet hers, pressure building behind Kara’s eyes again. She tries to hold the sudden tears at bay and usually she wouldn’t listen to a conversation across the room, usually she’d let it just be a dull murmur, but not this time, this time she’s tuned in to every word, tuned into the quick heartbeat of the woman at the door.
“Can I see Kara?” Lena asks, her eyes still on Kara even though she’s talking to Alex.
“Of course, come in.”
Lena’s eyes never leave Kara’s as she crosses the room.
Kara thinks she might break under her look.
Lena only hesitates for a moment before she removes her shoes, taking the seat Alex had occupied only a moment ago, tucking her legs beneath her. She’s not touching Kara once she’s settled, but she’s close, close enough that Kara can feel her warmth beside her.
“Hi,” Kara swallows, fresh tears welling in her eyes despite her best efforts to keep them away. “What are you doing here?”
“Your sister texted,” Lena says, her voice low, the sound washing over Kara. “I wanted to come and see you before I left.”
Oh, so that’s who Alex must’ve been texting earlier.
Speaking of Alex, she can see her sister in her peripheral vision, lingering in the kitchen. She’s glad her sister is giving them some space.
“When do you leave?” Kara manages to ask as she reaches out, fingers brushing the hem of Lena’s jacket, just to make sure she’s actually here.
“Soon, the jet is waiting for me, whenever I’m ready.”
There’s a long pause after Lena’s words, her eyes still on Kara. It makes Kara want to retreat, want to hide, want to shut her eyes and hope Lena can’t see everything that’s going through Kara’s mind right now.
“I hope you find what you’re looking for,” Kara eventually says, fighting back tears and the other words that rise in her throat, words that ask Lena to stay, or words that tell Lena how she feels. That’s not what Lena needs right now.
“Kara, I-“ Lena starts, stops herself as she looks away. When she looks back, there are tears in her eyes too. Kara reaches out when one spills, catches it with her thumb, wipes it from Lena’s cheek.
“Come here,” Kara says, tugging Lena forward and then they’re hugging, Kara needing the contact as much as Lena does, if the way the other woman leans into the embrace is any indication.
“Come with me,” Lena says, the words brushing against Kara’s neck as she says them. If Kara didn’t have superhearing, she might have missed them but she hears them loud and clear.
“What?” Kara asks anyway, pulling away to look at Lena, so close now in their half embrace.
“I want to find out more about my mother, I do, but that’s only part of the reason I was leaving.” Lena’s fingers tangle in the collar of Kara’s sweater. “I was leaving, or running is more of an apt description, I was running because it scared me, how much I felt, seeing you again. I was running to give myself some space to sort out my feelings, but then Alex texted and said you were upset and I couldn’t leave, I just couldn’t, not knowing you were upset. You mean too much to me and I was stupid to ever try to leave, not when the thought of being away from you again hurts so much.
“So, come with me, you deserve a break too. Or I’ll stay here, whatever you want.”
Kara’s crying now too as she leans forward, her forehead falling to rest against Lena’s. She takes a deep breath, feels like she can properly breathe for the first time since Lena told her she was leaving, knowing she’s not losing her.
“You’ll really stay, if I ask you too?” Kara asks, hands at the back of Lena’s neck, holding her close, hoping this isn’t some dream she’s about to wake up from.
“I will,” Lena says, the words brushing against Kara’s mouth as Lena tilts forward and then Kara doesn’t really think about it, she just acts, her chin tipping up slightly and then she’s kissing Lena, lips molding under hers as Lena kisses back, no hesitance in the touch.
It only lasts a few moments, before they’re pulling away, but it’s like Kara’s whole world has been flipped on its head, warmth spreading through her body, finally feeling warm after all those cold days and nights in the Phantom Zone.
“I don’t want to lose you,” Kara says, fingers tangling in the hair at Lena’s neck.
“You won’t,” Lena replies, and she sounds so sure, that Kara believes her.
“Can we stay here for a bit?” Kara asks, eyes finding Alex in the kitchen, who’s staring at them, wide-eyed. Clearly, she wasn’t the only one who didn’t see this coming. “I’m not ready to leave Alex yet.” She turns back to Lena, finds the other woman smiling at her. “But then later, in a few weeks, I’d really like to go away with you, help you find more out about your mother.”
“Of course,” Lena says. She tilts her head again, but this time to press a kiss to Kara’s forehead. “I’d really like that too.”
Her article gets abandoned, but Kara doesn’t care, not when she ends up on the couch, a movie playing on the TV screen that’s she’s barely paying attention to. Alex is on one side of her, head resting on Kara’s shoulder, snoring lightly, and on the other is Lena, their tangled hands resting in Lena’s lap as Lena plays with her fingers.
Kara never thought she’d feel this happy ever again but here she is, back with her sister and her best friend who isn’t just her best friend anymore.

Tumblr media
Walking around in the middle of the night just the slightest bit tipsy wasn’t the smartest thing you’ve done in your whole college career, but you could safely say it wasn’t the dumbest— Not that it was something you should be proud of.
You and your roommates had just gotten home from a party and, for some odd reason, you had the sudden urge to see one of your best friends, Iwaizumi Hajime, right at that very moment. He had been studying for midterms all week and you weren’t able to hang out with each other like you normally did, causing a Iwaizumi-shaped void that you wanted to fill. (In a strictly platonic way, of course.)
And when you were half-sleep deprived, half-inebriated, it wasn’t uncommon for you to be rather...impulsive. From ordering too much takeout from any “open 24-hour” restaurant within a five mile radius, to uploading a video of you trying to come up with the perfect pasta recipe, you’ve done a handful of bizarre things during the ungodly hours of the night. But even you weren’t sure what was going on through your mind that convinced you sneaking out of your apartment and heading to Iwaizumi’s nearby was the best course of action while still slightly intoxicated.
The clock on your phone read that it was only a quarter ‘til three and you quickly shrugged on a jacket and sent Iwaizumi a sloppy “i’m omw iwaaaachann” text before stepping foot outside your door, making sure to shut it silently as to not awaken your roommates who had just fallen asleep.
As you made your way through your apartment complex, the thought briefly crossed your mind that Iwaizumi might be sleeping at the moment, especially since he had just finished his midterm exams, but you shrugged it off. You would cross that hurdle when you got there.
And so, when you finally—through some miracle from above—arrived at Iwaizumi’s in one piece, you weren’t sure what else to do other then stare at his half cracked open window. Since he lived on the second floor, it wasn't uncommon for him to leave a window open for air to come through during the hot seasons.
“Iwaizumi!” you yelled in a quiet whisper, hoping the wind would carry your words into his apartment for you.
When you received no reply, you pulled our your phone and began to message him. Although Iwaizumi liked to pretend he was an unsentimental guy who didn’t have time to deal with others’ bullshit, it was obvious that was false. He cared a lot about everyone, especially his friends. Maybe even too much. And one of the ways he showed he secretly cared was always having his phone on full ringer in case anyone needed help in the middle of the night— Something that was surprisingly quite common when you were friends with the chaos that was Oikawa.
Would it be mean to use that knowledge to your own advantage and spam Iwaizumi until he replied?
Maybe.
But in your defense, you were practically having an emergency only he could help with. You desperately needed your Iwaizumi fix after not having seen him in over a week and there was no one better to help you that problem than Iwaizumi himself.
Besides, texting him until he wakes up would be better than Romeo-and-Julieting this and climbing in through his window. Trying to scale a building while tipsy was too idiotic, even for you.
Y/N: are u awakeee?
Y/N: wakey wakey
Y/N: i miss u :(
Y/N: i’m outside ur window wink wonk
Y/N: iwaaa >.>
There was a cacophonous sound of loud text chimes ringing one after the other followed by a deep grunt and stretching sound. You pictured Iwaizumi blearily getting out of bed and checking his phone that he kept across the room (to minimize at-night screen time, he claimed) with a heavy-lidded look on his face.
After a few seconds of unidentifiable shuffles, you heard a strangled cry of, “What the—?!” before you saw the shadow of his head through the window screen.
“Y/N?” he asked incredulously, voice still rough and scratchy from having just been awakened.
You waved, beaming wildly. “Iwaizumi!”
There was a deep sigh as he cracked the glass open even wider. “It’s three in the morning— Why are you outside my window?” He peered down at you almost stumbling on the spot. “And are you drunk?”
“Barely,” you assured, though you still felt a slight buzz in your fingertips. “I missed you so I came here.”
“I— What? I mean— Huh?” he demanded, visible confusion in his tone. He rubbed his forehead before correcting himself. “I mean I miss you too. But it’s three in the morning! You couldn’t wait to miss me in a few hours instead?”
You didn’t know whether to pout because he didn’t grow some Rapunzel hair and let you climb it up to the window and fall into his open arms like you’d imagined, or cheer because he said he missed you too. Blissfully, you chose the latter. “You miss me?”
“Is that really all you heard?” said Iwaizumi with a snort before shaking his head in defeat. “Come up here. I’ll unlock the door for you.”
Your face lit up instantly as you nodded, bounding up the stairs of his apartment building and meeting with him face-to-face at his doorstep.
He had his arms folded over his chest as he waited for you at the entrance and, though he had tired circles under his eyes and still seemed half-asleep, was looking as attractive as ever. Not even the white polka dots on his pajama shorts could talk away from that fact. If anything, it made him all the more adorable.
“Iwa-chan!” you greeted excitedly, but still careful as to make sure you weren’t loud enough to wake up his roommate. You opened your arms out and he begrudgingly accepted your embrace. (Well, he tried to seem begrudging at least. But you saw his hidden smile as you nestled your chin on his shoulder.) “I missed you.”
“You said that already, dumbass,” he said with a tsk. He patted the top of your head before pulling away from your hug promptly. “You’re cold. Have you been standing outside for long?”
Pursing your lips, you looked up at him in confusion. “I don’t feel cold.”
“Because you’re too drunk to register it, probably.” With his warm hand on the small of your back, Iwaizumi ushered you inside and shut the door behind you. “Let’s go to my room so we don’t wake up my roommate, yeah?”
“‘Kay.”
Having visited his place so many times before, you knew it like it was your own apartment— Disregard the fact that your apartments had almost the same exact layout since you lived in the same complex. After sliding off your shoes at the entrance, you led the way to his room with Iwaizumi following closely behind you.
“Did you go to a party tonight?” he asked, eyes trailing down your body that was clad in an oversized t-shirt and fuzzy socks. Iwaizumi took a seat on his bed and patted the spot next to him for you to join.
Laughing at his puzzled expression, you nodded. “Yeah, but I went to my place to change and get ready for bed,” you explained. “Tried sleeping but I missed you too much and wanted to see your face.”
You climbed onto the mattress with him and wiggled around until you found a comfy spot. The comfy spot happened to be side-by-side with Iwazumi, your back against the wall and cold thigh pressed against his warm one. You rested your head on his shoulder and he lazily drew circles onto your knee with the pad of his thumb.
Intimacy like this wasn’t an uncommon occurrence for the two of you— That’s just how things were. He was warm and comfy and good at cuddling, and you liked that.
It could maybe be considered just normal friendship things you two did with everyone if it weren’t for the fact that Iwaizumi wasn’t typically comfortable with physical touch from anyone other than you. And maybe if you also ignored that you weren’t too keen on the thought of him one day being this close to anyone else. If truth be told, you didn’t like the thought of that at all.
With a small huff, you hooked your left arm with Iwaizumi’s right, hugging his bicep to you in an almost clingy manner.
“You good?” he asked, lightly chuckling as he looked down at you gripping onto his side. “Or something troubling you?”
You hummed unsure how to answer. There wasn’t enough alcohol in your system for you to completely spill your guts with know remorse, though being tipsy did greatly increase your likelihood of being loose-lipped. “I’m just thinking about someone else being with you like this.”
Iwaizumi stiffened, shoulders tensing ever so slightly before he quickly relaxed his muscles again. He prompted gruffly, throat so tight it came out as a murmur, “And?”
“I don’t like it.”
He let out a sharp chuckle. “I see.”
Out of the corner of your eye you saw a smile on his face and you continued on. “You’ve been studying a lot with Sasaki-san lately.”
“Hmm. Have I?”
You nodded. “You have your biomechanics class with her, right?”
“Yeah. I guess we studied for the exam together for a few nights.”
There was a funny feeling in your stomach at the thought of him spending his nights studying with someone that then spiraled to you picturing them being compatible and falling in love and spending the rest of their lives together. You winced, trying to shake it off. You were one of his best friends; it’s not like you had the right to feel that way.
“She’s really pretty,” you said, hoping it would prompt him to talk more about her. Even if you had no right, you still wanted to know—
By now, the laughter Iwaizumi was struggling to hold in bubbled out of his mouth, cutting you off mid-thought. His shoulders bounced up and down and you reluctantly sat up from your position resting on top of him to give him a look of confusion.
“Why are you laughing at me?” you pouted. Your eyebrows were furrowed and the corners of your lips were quirked down, cheeks slightly puffed.
He nudged your side gently with his elbow. You nudged him back, but moved away before he could retaliate and start a nudge war. “Because you sound jealous and it’s funny.”
“I didn’t say I was jealous.”
“I didn’t say you said that.”
“I’m not jealous,” you corrected.
“Now that’s debatable.”
Your cheeks flooded with heat, grabbing a pillow off the head of Iwaizumi’s bed to hide the embarrassed look on your face, seconds away from throwing it at him if he started to laugh any louder. You huffed. You were not jealous. There was no way. You just didn’t like imagining one of your best friends with another person doing coupley things that you only wanted him to do with you. But that definitely wasn’t jealousy.
(Okay, fine. You were jealous. But you couldn’t admit that to Iwaizumi.)
“That’s just your lack of sleep talking,” you sulked, lying down on his bed with a pillow still over your face. “Go to sleep now.”
“I was asleep. Until someone showed up at my window unannounced and woke me up.”
“They sound annoying.”
He barked out a laughter and you felt the weight on the bed shift. The compressed springs near your feet where Iwaizumi sat released its tension before you felt a dip beside you. You held your breath, the warmth from Iwaizumi’s body radiating onto yours.
While sleeping in the same bed together wasn’t as common as just cuddling, it wasn’t something that was exactly rare. There were times when you came over to watch movies or a television series with him until you both passed out on his bed. And other times when he was feeling stressed or you were feeling sad and neither of you wanted to sleep alone. You knew if you called, he would invite you in. And it was the same if he came to you.
But that didn’t make your heart beat any less rapidly as you waited in anticipation for Iwaizumi to get under the sheets with you. No matter how many times you fell asleep together, that didn’t stop the rush of nerves and tense air of awkwardness from flooding the room. However, it took just one touch to break the ice and before you knew it, you were snuggling up next to him in complete contentment.
“They’re not annoying,” he said firmly, large hand resting on the curve of your hip. “Actually, I’m glad they showed up even though it was three in the morning and I was running on two hours of sleep from the previous day.” You winced at his words, the alcohol gone from your system by now and you realized the insensitivity of your actions. Still, your stomach fluttered when he said he was glad to see you. “Because I missed them too.”
You blinked slowly. “You’re talking about me right?”
Through the moonlight from the window, you saw him roll his eyes with a grin. “Is there anyone else you think I’d let into my bed at this hour?”
“Oikawa.”
He considered it. “Well, maybe. But it wouldn’t so much be me letting him than him weaseling his way in.”
You nodded solemnly, as if it made perfect sense. Because it did. “Fair enough. He’s the only other person I’d let into my bed like this too,” you admitted, earning a laugh out of the both of you. “Well, besides Oikawa then, there’s no one else you’d sleep with like this?”
“There hasn’t been since we started college. I doubt there would be anyone to change that. Nor would I want anyone to.”
For the second time tonight, you felt heat rise to your cheeks and had the sudden urge to turn the other way and stare at the wall instead of Iwaizumi. But he held you tight by the waist so you couldn’t wiggle your way out of his grasp— Which did not, at all, help with the flaming face situation.
He only wanted you? There was a euphoric feeling in your chest when you realized he felt that way, and you felt the same.
“Someone’s bold tonight,” you managed to choke out, softly pressing your shaky fingers to the center of Iwaizumi’s chest. You felt the outlines of his toned pectorals beneath your palm and you had to remind yourself to keep on breathing.
“It’s from the lack of sleep. Sorry.” He didn’t sound apologetic. In fact, he seemed the opposite of apologetic when he brought you almost imperceptibly closer to him. If you weren’t so aware of the spatial distance (or lack thereof) between the two of you, there was no way you would have noticed. But you did. And you didn’t mind it. “I don’t have my usual filter.”
“Maybe I like you like this,” you said without missing a beat. Your initial reaction was to be embarrassed about the words that just left your mouth, but when you saw his growing smile, you felt a rush of assurance coursing through you. “I always like you, I suppose.”
“Like me?” he prompted, almost teasingly. “In what way?”
You gulped. Was this Iwaizumi being flirty?
Sure, it wasn’t uncommon for him to compliment you and occasionally play around— But if you thought your heart would ever be ready for him to actually flirt, you certainly thought wrong. You weren’t ready at all.
“L-Lots of ways,” you stammered out. “But in particular, the ‘I think you’re cute and I maybe want to date you’ way.”
“Funny.” His voice was a low whisper that rasped in your ear. “I think I like you in that way too.”
“You think?”
“I know.”
“Huh. Well, if we both like each other in that way…maybe we should…” you trailed off, feelings of timidness suddenly overcoming you. “You know…”
“Date?” he supplied with a knowing grin. You nodded bashfully. “Tomorrow.” There was an air of promise and sincerity in his tone. “Let’s get some sleep and then when we wake up we can go on our first date.”
Tranquility spread through your veins as you let out a happy sigh, your muscles growing lax at your calmed state. Although your heart was beating out of your chest at the prospect of actually dating Iwaizumi, his comforting embrace was enough to lull you into sleep. Your senses were flooded with him—his touch, his smell, the quiet sound of his steady breathing—and you realized there was no other place you’d rather be.
“Are you sure you won’t be too tired from exams?” you said before sleep overtook the both of you. “And from me waking you up in the middle of the night? Which…sorry for that again, by the way.”
“Don’t apologize. It was worth it,” he mumbled, lips brushing against your forehead as your eyelids fluttered shut. “I’ll always be here when you need me. Even if it’s at three in the morning.”

This had been fast... I've sent it last Friday.
Anyway, I came here simply to add some info from what I've gathered from the replies. I'm not necessarily here to change your minds, I'm already pretty much agreeing about a lot of things being said-but there's also some details that I didn't think of writing down when sending it.
You're a pathological liar
Absolutely. That's what growing up in my household was like. I've been trying to unlearn it, but it's a mechanical defense that has been ingrained into me so hard that I will revert to it when panicking. I lie first, then I think. That shit has been following me since I could talk.
Usually, I correct myself when I slip into a lie and most of my friends know about it (but it's usually small and innocent lies such as "Hey, do you have a cigarette?" - "No," I say despite lighting one up. Then I excuse myself and just give one if possible) and even B caught me doing that.
But as this one is kind of "special", I couldn't find a correction yet.
You should have said it was personal/You didn't have to give details
That's what I did when I explained to him (it's one of our games' friends, so he didn't know me before I changed) but it was over a month ago. As he let me literally live with him for an undetermined time, he wanted answers after a while. I only lied after he insisted to the point I had to reply. Especially after B didn't tell him either.
B might learn about the new lie and it will worsen everything
B is already aware of the lie. We might not live together anymore for now, but we are still in contact. As soon as I calmed down Friend, I've sent a message to B to tell him. He was highly disappointed, but he still thanked me. In short, he puts his teenage years behind (just like me) and would rather not have new friends starting to talk about it, and wanting to pity him.
We agreed that we'd keep going for this lie, but say that it was only online (Yes, this is still bad!) and that I never met them IRL. Probably that it was just a few days of texting.
You lied to your partner for 4 years
Yes and it ate me up at the beginning and often through the years. I just never found the right time or the strength to do it.
And right after I was forced to come clean, we had a long talk and everything was put on the table. Even if it wouldn't be everyone's case, but we mostly agreed that it could be way worse. B understands why I lied, and he told me that he doesn't know what he would have wanted and he's not sure that he wanted me to be honest about it. He was content with his life and had succeeded in keeping going.
He kind of had a closure when it came to me before we met. A few years before we met, but after I cut all contact with my family and changed my name, he searched after me out of morbid curiosity (and probably some kind of spiraling) but all he had found was a guilt-tripping/tear-inducing message on Facebook, from one of the people responsible of my coming in this world, crying over the loss of their son. They apparently made it sound like an obituary and, because there were no online activities from me at that time, or recently (because I used my brand new name and left all old accounts to rot), he assumed I died. I didn't know until the talk though.
It'll conclude those details.
In a week, we had a little progress with B and we started to text more. The break was mostly so he could get an appointment with his therapist to see with him if he's reacting appropriatly and just dealing with his feelings (but unless you're in a life/death case, therapy's appointment schedule is long) and he also wanted to see how he was dealing with the distance between us (does he miss me, or not). I also want to add that the last 4 years with him were the best in our lives, and when we see what happened in the world, it means a lot. He confirmed it to me that it was also his best years yet.
And I'll just finish on this: B knows everything about me now and there's no lies at all between us. Just his surprise birthday party coming up this summer, but we're all (friends group) in that lie.
@am-i-the-asshole-official
AITA for pretending I cheated on my partner when our common friend asked why we fought?
It will sound fake and fictional, but please bear with me because I'm getting crazy over it. And also sorry for any english mistake, we're not from an english speaking country.
To give some context: I am a man. There was this person, B(m), which whom I kind of grew up with. We went through the same schools from our 6 years old to 17 but we never were really friends. Then, around our 13, I got into a clique that fed into all my bad habits and I started to actively bully B because he seemed like an easy target at the time. I enjoyed it and was encouraged to do so (because I was such an asshole and I'm not even cringing thinking about it, it's worse. I regret it so much and I was a stupid and bad teenager). It was so bad that after years of enduring it, B changed school before we graduated and I went on with my life.
It' was's been about 15 years ago that I graduated.
In the meantime, I dealt with some problems that I had with my family and I went through intensive therapy which changed me for the better, and I came to terms with my sexuality as well.
Flashforward to 2019/2020, I meet with someone online through some games and it goes very well. Thanks to the Covid and the lockdowns, we play even more and get closer. At some point, I talk about an event happening close to my city, and he tells me that he knows about it as well and that we're living close to each other. Because we enjoyed our time online (ngl, we had started flirting although I didn't know how sincere it was) we decided to meet at that event.
And there, I find out that my online friend is B. It's extremely awkward but only for me because he cannot recognize me for three reasons: 1. I changed physically with my puberty finally finishing the job after my 18 birthday, and I found some love into dying my hair. 2. I changed in terms of personality thanks to the therapy I went through. 3. My legal name was changed when I said goodbye to this fucking family of mine and left without turning back (but I was getting sick just saying my last name).
I, obviously, didn't tell him anything about who I really was because I just wanted to enjoy that evening with a friend, and we didn't see each other since he left high school because of me. My plan was just to slowly distance myself from him after that evening but it failed because we had a lot of fun and we actually really hit off and I was dying constantly at the idea that he could find out.
We've been in a relationship sicne the beginning of 2021 and I was decided to just never tell him (horrifying idea I know, anyone with a braincell would have told me that it was bound to be found).
A month ago, I met with an old friend from high school (so yeah, he was in the bullying gang but more of a followers, so we stayed in friendly terms when we both agreed that it was bad) and as he recognized B, he decided to excuse himself and hoped that B would forgive him like he "forgave" me (I never got to tell that friend to shut up about that) so yeah, B found out that I was his main bully who had lied to him for almost 4 years now.
We had quite a big talk about it. How bad my bullying ended up for B; why I lied like that and never admitted it. And even if it went alright, B told me that he needed a break to think about things and it's going to be one month that I'm crashing at a common friend of us. At first, I just said that B and I got into a fight and it was good enough, but as it's been already a month, the friend asked more about it. Not wanting to bring up B's trauma to someone else (especially after our conversation), I just told the first lie that came to me and pretended that I cheated on B and he found out.
Now that common friend is calling me an asshole and keeps reminding me how much they are disappointed in me to have done something so horrifying to B. I keep wondering if I did well to lie like that, or if I should have found another way out.

Pairing: Bucky Barnes x F!Reader
Summary: Bucky has been your neighbor for a few months now, so he likes to think you two are friends. Which is why he thinks you're the best person to go to to help him get back into the dating scene.
AN: inspired by one line of dialogue from the first ep of Falcon and the Winter Soldier. lol also, FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER EP 1 SPOILERS!
Tumblr media
Bucky felt lost. Well, he's always felt lost ever since he suddenly came back along with have of the world's population. He was pardoned by the government and now a civilian. He was going through therapy to deal with his 70+ years worth of trauma and trying to navigate his way through the modern world. Everything was new and exciting but also overwhelming and exhausting.
His therapist encouraged him to date and make friends. So that's what he did, or at least, tried to do.
He considers you a friend. You live in the apartment right beside him, gave him a friendly smile and helping hand when he first moved in. You two chatted when you'd run into each other in the hall or in the laundry room. You were nice, attractive, funny. He honestly thought about asking you out a few times, but you were his friend, his only friend it seems. So he couldn't ruin that. Therefore, he resorted to online dating.
He signed up to a bunch of dating websites and apps: eharmony, match.com, plentyoffish, tinder-SO MANY. Why are there so many dating apps?!
He's scrolling through his phone, so overwhelmed by the different pictures and information. What does DTF mean???
He scowls, tossing his phone onto a pile of dry laundry he should be folding. You enter the laundry room with a chuckle, "Everything alright?"
He glances over his shoulder and sees you. He immediately smiles and faces you, "Hey, um, yeah," he gestures to his phone, "Just, um..." he lets out a sigh and asks, "Do you know anything about dating?"
You look at him curiously and reply, "A little. Why? What's up?"
"I'm just," he nervously scratches his head and places his hands on his hips, "I'm trying this online dating thing and it's...a lot."
You can't help but snort, "I feel ya," you give him a reassuring smile despite your heart dropping to your stomach, "So, uh, what sites or apps are you on?"
"Um...all of them?"
You snort again, "No way. Let me see your phone." you hold out your open palm to him and he places his phone into your hands after unlocking it. You swipe through his apps and your brows shoot up to your hairline, "Well it's not all of them , but it's definitely a lot." you look up from the phone to Bucky, "Can I give some advice?"
"Please, I'll take anything you can give me," he replies desperately.
You hop onto the washing machine and hold up his phone, "Okay. These apps are usually for the older crowd. Like thirty five and up, so if you're not picky about age, feel free to keep these. Now, these apps are what the younger generations use. Tinder is usually for hook ups, one night stands and all that. Not many people take Tinder seriously. Bumble, is a level up from Tinder. You'll find people who are more serious about finding a relationship with also a mix of people looking for something casual. Hinge, I think, is a level up from Bumble. You don't see people's typical lame ass bios, but their answers to some fun questions, what kind of relationship they're looking for, if they smoke or do drugs, etc. Also, I'm not sure if you know this, but you can change the age range on all of these apps. So instead of having it from 18 to 50, you can narrow it so 25 to 35 or however you want."
You look at Bucky and see his brows are furrowed in...concentration? Confusion?
"Was that too much? Do I need to slow down?"
He shook his head, "No, no, that's not it. Um, thanks, Y/N," he shoots you a grateful grin and you smile back, "No problem, Bucky." You see the gears turning in his head and you ask a question, he might be scared to ask you, "Do you want me to help you find some potential dates?"
"Will you?" he asks in that same desperate tone from earlier.
Again, you put on a smile, despite your breaking heart, "Sure!"
You tap on Hinge, double checking on his preferences, and then going to the main page.
"Oh! Look here. She's a single mom, but she's also a nurse. On the weekends, you're most likely going to find her wine drunk and watching movies with her kids. She has pets. She'd like to have more kids some day. She sounds nice. How 'bout it, Bucky?"
"Sure. She-She sounds good."
"Cool! So you tap on the heart on whatever thing on her page. So let's like her....answer here. If you want, you can comment something, but if not, you just forward it and hope to see that she'll like you back and you can start messaging her! Also, it looks like some people already like you! So you just tap on this icon here and you can scroll through the different people who've liked something on your page and it's up to you if you want to make contact or not."
Bucky hums and plucks his phone from your hands, "Wow. This-Thanks Y/N. This really helped."
"No problem, Buck! If you ever need more help, just let me know!" you hop off the washer and proceed to start up a load of laundry. You mind running back and forth about how you should shoot your shot, but you were too afraid of ruining the friendship you and Bucky have.

Bucky: Hey
You: What's up?
Bucky: can you come over? I need more help with this online dating situation.
You: sure!
You let your phone fall to your side with a sigh, Bucky has been asking for your help with his online dating for two weeks now and while you're always happy to help him, it just sucks seeing someone get his attention that you wish you had.
You roll out of bed, not caring about how you looked and exit your apartment, knocking on Bucky's door.
He swings open to reveal him in a tight blue henley and some black jeans, "Hey!" he shoots you a grin and moves aside to let you in, "So, um, this girl, Janine. We've been messaging for a few days now and she wants to meet up. Is that too soon? And where should I take her? I've," he pauses to chuckle to himself, "I haven't dated since the forties so..."
Despite your feelings for him, you knew Bucky deserved to be happy, especially after all the shit he's gone through.
"Hm, well, what kind of vibes are you getting from her?"
"Vibes?"
"Yeah, um, what feelings do you get when you talk to her? Do you feel happy? Do you want to get to know her more?"
"Uh, yeah, I suppose so. I think it'd be nice to meet her in person and get to know her more face to face."
"Then yeah, take her out. But since it's your first time meeting her in person, it should be something casual. Low key, no pressure. A decent restaurant or a bar is probably best."
Bucky nods, "Yeah. Okay. Um, do you think you could help me pick something out?"
You can't help but laugh, "Bucky, I'm sure whatever you choose to wear, you'll be fine."
"Okay. Thanks, Y/N," he slowly wraps his arms around you for a hug, but not too tight in case you're uncomfortable. You surprise him by hugging him back, giving him a little squeeze, "You're welcome, Bucky."
It was Saturday and you didn't have work. You friends asked you to hangout with them, but you didn't want to. You wanted to stay holed up in your apartment, wallowing because Bucky would be going on his date with Janine tonight.
You're mindlessly watching tv , curled up on the couch. You turn your face into the pillow and scream in frustration. You should've just asked him out when you had the chance, but now that chance is gone.
You groan as you roll off the couch and head to your balcony. You just need some fresh air. You push up your window and climb onto the metal balcony. You sit on the outdoor chair you have there and stare up into the night sky. The stars are twinkling, the moon is shining. It looks like a perfect night for a date and here you are, alone.
"Hey-"
"AAAHHH!" you scream by the sudden appearance of Bucky on his own balcony. You're staring at him wide eyed, hand on your chest.
Bucky couldn't help but laugh at your expression, "Sorry."
You shake your head and stand to meet him, "It's fine. What're you doing here? I thought you were on your date."
"Yeah, uh, turns out Janine didn't, what phrase did you use once, pass the vibe check?"
You snort, covering your mouth as you giggled. Bucky's smile grows at the sound and you pull yourself together, "Um, yeah that's it. But I'm sorry."
He shrugs, leaning against the railing, "Honestly, it's okay. I don't think the online dating thing is really for me. I think I'll probably stick to the old fashion way: meeting in person and asking them out on a date."
"That's understandable," you say with a nod.
"So how 'bout it?"
You look at him confused, "How 'bout what?"
"Do you wanna go on a date sometime?" you give a look of surprise and Bucky immediately adds, "But I totally understand if you don't want to. I just-you're nice, and beautiful, and funny I thought maybe-but we're friends so I totally understand if you don't-"
"No, no. Bucky, I just-I'd love to go on a date with you."
"Yeah?" You nod and he holds out his hand, "Come on then."
You give a nervous chuckle, "What?"
"I picked up a pizza after that disastrous date. We can eat and watch a movie. Casual and no pressure, right?"
You look from his striking blue eyes to his outstretched glove hand. You reach out to place your hand in his but then pull back, "Wait. I should probably change."
You step back to head back into your apartment, but Bucky grabs your hand, "You don't have to. You look great."
You chuckle and begin to climb from your railing to Bucky's, with his help, "Alright, Prince Charming. I expect to be wooed tonight."
"Of course you do, which is why I ordered pizza from your favorite place and I'm letting you pick the movie we watch."
"Bucky Barnes, I could kiss you!" you exclaim thoughtlessly but then you realized what you just said. You shook your head and began to ramble off excuses, "No no! I mean not now! Now that I don't want to kiss you. You're very kissable. Not that I imagine kissing you or anything it's just-"
Bucky leans in and gives you a little peck on the cheek, "I don't kiss until after the date's over, doll. So will that suffice for now?"
You could feel your cheeks heating up as you nodded and squeaked out, "Yup!"
He chuckled, taking your hand in his again and leading you to the couch where the pizza was waiting for you.

📏 The Only Tall Maknae | Wonyoung
Request: hii can i request an izone wonyoung jealous cuddles scenario with shorter fem!reader? thank uu Plot: Wonyong and the small idol Fem!Reader are in a relationship. During MAMA, Wonyoung gets jealous of her girlfriend. Words: 2,661 Genre: fluff Notes: tried to write it in a way that was closer to the thoughtless attitude of teenagers inexperienced in having a relationship as idols. there are spaces for prequels or part two, maybe. if you want, send me a plot and i will write more from this universe! hope you like it! have a nice week!
Tumblr media
Wonyoung was happy to be at MAMA again. What made her even happier, in addition to performing and receiving all the love from Wizones, was that you were there, with her. Not exactly with her, since the location of the tables was made so that her group and yours were somewhat distant, but you both were there, giving sneaky glances at each other and dancing excitedly during more animated performances by groups you liked. You had to control yourselves, trying to be discreet, even though almost all the idols in your circle of friends already knew your closeness was something more. There were cameras there and they weren't kind at all.
You met through friends and have been dating for almost a year. Staying with her took away all your tiredness, reinvigorated your energies and left you with a happiness never felt before. She was the most beautiful and adorable girl in the world. And you were lucky to be her girlfriend. Very lucky.
Your group had made the second comeback in a year and, for the first time, your schedules were proximate. You were doing your best and she was doing her best, and you were able to meet in the meantime.
You just didn't expect to be nominated for Best New Female Artist, but Wonyoung was rooting for you, and when it came time to announce the winning group, you focused on her again and sighed.
"You are just a silly in love.", Soojin's voice sounded low in your ear, clearly mocking your "heart eyes" towards Wonyoung.
You felt your cheeks getting hot. The pros and cons of being a maknae... even though you were spoiled in many moments, your group really liked to make jokes about how you lost the bossy pose when you were with your girlfriend. And also the difference between your height and hers. It was extremely evident! But you loved it, after all, you could hide your face on her neck while you hugged.
"I'm not silly!", you said, smiling.
You turned your face to the stage, where the MC's were about to read the name of the award-winning female group.
Your eyes met Wonyoung's for a moment, looking for strength in case your group didn't win, and you gave her a bigger smile, getting back the most beautiful smile in the world.
Until they announced the name of your group.
There was a round of applause and you were a little lost, in shock, looking at your group mates for answers. Did you imagine things or did you really win? Your expression was so shocked that, at the same time, several fans were already turning into a meme on the social media. Feeling goosebumps come and go through your entire body and a light tug from Soeun on your arm, you got up and went from your table to the stage.
After that, everything went very fast. The leader, Soojin, said gratitude words to the fans, the staffs, everyone who supported the group, promises to continue working hard to deliver a good message through music, etc...
Wonyoung was very proud of you and, as your group came down from the stage and went to a part on the side of it for pictures, Yujin made a joke that she couldn't understand, but it was about the two of you. She looked at Eunbi as if she was seeking approval to come to you, but Eunbi was in a conversation with Nako about the award.
"It was pretty obvious that they were going to win, they are the best!", Yena exclaimed, when a new presentation started.
"You guys make a couple of very powerful maknaes, despite the height difference!", Chaewon whispered, from Wonyoung's left side, making her smile.
A few minutes went by and Wonyoung wanted to be able to go directly to you to congratulate you, even if not in the warm way she would do backstage, with a very tight hug and soft kisses on your lips, calling you "my love". Looking for you at your table, Wonyoung frowned. Your whole group was there, even the prize was there with them, but where were you? Were you at the bathroom?
"Where...", Wonyoung's question died in it's beginning. A few tables on the left, there were you. Holding another girl's hands. And that was enough for Wonyoung to feel her cheeks flush with jealousy and her heart sinking into her chest.
"I can't wait to take several selfies with it! It's so beautiful!", whispered Yein beside you, thinking about the award that was in Soojin's hands.
You nodded as you went up the stairs, until you felt a hand on your shoulder. Turning aroung, shoulders and a smile that formed an enlarged heart were the first things that took over your vision, indicating that the person who called you was tall. You focused your gaze on the face, raising your head, and realized that the owner of the smile was Yeeun, as known as J, a member of StayC. And your friend and classmate.
"Hey!", she greeted you, still smiling, and held your hands. "You rocked up there! I only got time to listen to your group's album yesterday, but it's really good! Congratulations on the award!"
"Oh, thank you so much!", you came a little closer to her to allow the girls to go up the narrow stairs. "I'm in love with your album too. ASAP always manages to make me very happy, even on days when my mood is not... good."
You were not praising each other for no reason, you had known each other long enough to not need formal praises.
"I know how hard you and your group worked for it and it was really deserved.", she had a caring glow in her eyes. "I know I haven't been on this idol journey for a long time but if you need anything, I'm here. I know there may be some difficulties but we will get through them together!"
"You can count on me too, Yeeun. This is not easy at all, but we are managing to achieve our dream almost together! Can you believe it?", you said, smiling excitedly.
Until you felt the lighting of the place get a little darker.
Yeeun's eyes landed on a spot above your head. You turned around to see the reason why there was a shadow on you, and there she was. Your girlfriend.
Yeeun greeted Wonyoung, bowing, while she was standing there, beautiful and in that black outfit full of sparkles that left you mesmerized since the beginning of her presentation.
"Hello, bab-sun-babe-nim!", you stuttered, impacted by the beauty of your girlfriend.
Almost calling her "babe", you tried to fix it by calling her (actually trying to call her) sunbaenim. Even though Yeeun knew about your relationship (you had already told her since you were friends), you didn't want any strangers to know. And that place was full of cameras and ears everywhere. It was risky. But your correction to the soft nickname you used to call her only made Wonyoung raise an eyebrow. There was something in her eyes and you knew it wasn't because of the makeup.
Yeeun greeted her and Wonyoung used a polite education towards the girl of almost the same height, differentiating by a few centimeters almost imperceptible, but that, with you between them, made you look much younger than them, even though the three of us had almost the same age.
Wonyoung praised StayC's performance and Yeeun thanked her before saying bye to you both and heading to the table where her group was at.
You raised your hand to Wonyoung's but the tall girl crossed her arms.
"Hey, what's up?", you asked.
"Nothing.", her tone was harsh and you felt a small pain your in your chest, but she had a smile on her face. A fake smile. "I wanted to be the first to congratulate you, but someone has already done that.", The smile was still on her face, for the cameras, but the tone of voice was still kinda rude towards you. "I can't even hold your hands without hear you saying that some people might be surprised by it, but apparently it's just with me. But, congratulations on the award, Y/N. It was well deserved. The girls and I congratulate your group.", she turned and started walking in towards Izone's table.
"Hey, what's up, Wonnie?", you asked, hurrying to catch up with her, but keeping an expression of false happiness on your face.
"Nothing.", her tone of voice cut into your heart, she hadn't even bothered to turn around.
"Hey, you know I can't keep up with your stride, that's not fair."
She stopped on the stairs, in the corridor that led to where her group's table was, turning to you and you almost ran into her, taking a few steps back.
"Just don't!", her gaze on you was as hard as her voice, but the smile was wide open on her face, it was petrified there.
You stopped as you watched your girlfriend move on without looking back.
"I can really do whatever tomorrow morning, I don't care, I just need to get this sorted out as soon as possible."
"I just think it's too late for you to go there...", Soojin had some concern in her voice.
"Have you texted her yet?", Jiyoon asked, stretched out on the living room floor.
"Several times and she doesn't answer nor even reply my texts since yesterday.", you paced back and forth in front of the television.
"If you keep walking like this, we'll find petroleum," said Soeun.
You sat on the floor next to Jiyoon.
"None of the girls answer you?", asked Seojeong, stretching.
"Hyewon replied that she is in a bad mood and locked herself in the room after dinner."
"What did you do, huh?", Yein asked.
"I don't know!", you almost shout, hiding your face in your hands.
"Oh, go on then because one in a bad mood is one thing but two in bad mood in different groups is a punishment! Go, go!", Soojin pulled you by the arm to get up and started pushing you towards the door .
"But what about the manager..."
"We'll find a way to cover you up, don't worry!", Seojeong said and Soojin closed the door.
You went down the stairs, calling an uber.
"Do you know how late it is?", asked Hyewon, rubbing her eyes and yawning.
"I know you don't usually sleep early, Hyewon. But it's a life-and-death situation!", you replied while removing your shoes in the lobby, only your socks on your feet.
"Death for whom? Only if it is for us, right? The sour mood she was in... I asked if she wanted salad and she almost killed me with her eyes!", with a tone of indignation, Sakura started to speak. "What did you do, huh?"
"I don't know!", you were about to cry. "Can I go and talk to her?"
The two girls nodded and you crossed the room to the hall like a bullet. When you opened the door, the room was dark and you already knew the way to Wonyoung's bed because you visited her sometimes. But instead of lying down, you knelt beside the bed, even in the dark, and whispered her name. You wanted to hold her hand but you were afraid. If she was upset with you, she probably wouldn't want you even there.
"Wonyoung?", you called again, this time in a louder tone.
"I can't believe you came here even after I treated you like that."
You didn't understand what the phrase meant.
"Can I lie down?", you asked, receiving in response Wonyoung moving her body to give you some space.
You embraced her in a hug, hoping she wouldn't reject it, even with her back to you. Again, her answer did not come in words. She held your arm around her.
"What did I do? Tell me so I won't repeat it.", your face was on her back.
"I'm feeling ashamed."
"Of me?"
"No! Of you??? Never! I'm ashamed of myself. I can't even look at you...", she confessed.
You were still confused, but you hugged her tighter. You wanted her to feel you there.
"You don't have to. You didn't do anything wrong, Wonnie..."
You heard a loudest sigh and she turned to you, resting her hand on your neck and touching your foreheads.
"I... I was an idiot. You, your group, had just won one of the most important awards of the night! I myself know how it feels to win it, I know how rewarding it is and... at the moment I-I didn't support you because I was... jealous.", you knew you shouldn't interrupt her, she was venting out. "I wish I could've hugged you and praised you... I feel so proud of you and everyting that you have achieved... but I saw you with that girl and she was holding your hands and she was smiling with such affection, I don't know what I was feeling other than jealousy.", her voice showed a little bit of anger and fragility but she kept her hand on your neck, caressing it. "I was wondering if she was special enough to show affection like that in front of so many cameras... if you liked tall maknaes and...", at that moment you laughed. "Hey, don't laugh! This is not funny at all!", she slapped you lightly on the shoulder.
"No, babe, what's funny is that you think I could have eyes for anyone but you."
"Yeah, you go ahead and think it's funny! And if it were me with, I don't know, a short maknae like you, holding her hands, wouldn't you be jealous when you saw it from a distance, without having an idea of what's going on? Would it be funny?"
"Yah! I get it! Don't even make me think of you with someone else.", you took her wrist and stroked it. "Yeeun is just a friend from school and she was congratulating me. There was nothing else. There would never be. She knows about us and gives the greatest support! I just didn't get to introduce you decently because there is never enough time. I want you to see that you don't have to feel jealous because you are the only tall maknae I love. I love you. "
"I'm sorry for ruining everything and making you come here almost at the dawn. You shouldn't have come so late!", she pulled you into a tight hug. "But at the same time I'm so glad and relieved you came.", she whispered that last sentence.
"I would come at anytime.", you whispered back, kissing her cheek.
"It's too late for you to leave. What are you going to do? We can arrange everything for you to stay.", you were going to talk but Wonyoung wouldn't let you. "We can really work it out, make up a very good lie for the managers, take you back to the dorm quickly tomorrow very early. I imagine you have a lot of commitments now that you've won the award but... it's so late... and I want you to stay with me."
"Okay, I'll stay.", you replied, without thinking. "But I need some clothes to sleep."
"Okay, you can borrow Nako's pajamas."
"Hey!"
"I'm kidding!", Wonyoung laughed. "You can borrow one of mine. It'll be huge on you, but you look beautiful anyway."
Embarrassed, you hid your face on her neck and felt her presence for a while, a warm embrace full of a young love that was blooming beautifully. The next day, you would have to deal with your manager scolding you a lot, knowing he would be right, but for now, you would enjoy your time with Wonyoung. Whatever happened next, it wouldn't matter. What mattered now was to be with the only tall maknae that you loved with all your heart.
