it's interesting that yingdu E1 is gonna be the episode that really tells you if you like S1 story structure more, or S2 story structure more.

I thought yingdu would be more like S2 but I'm actually pleasantly surprised it starts more like S1? and I already knew this about myself but I really loved the episodic, slice of life nature of the first half of S1 (and the chibi shorts). I loved S2 and all, but the first time I fell in love with link click it was because of the day-to-day kind of issues they face before they started playing mind games with other people who have abilities like them. and I think I wouldn't have enjoyed S2 or even the back half of S1 if the show didn't start with episodic, low stakes cases. of course, I think they'll probably mix both storytelling styles this special season.

but idk, I really missed that vibe. shiguangling being domestic is sweet. I did like the cosplay story more than vivian's story, though I think them trying to set up the scammer parallel to lu guang was funny. I think cheng xiaoshi shines a lot in these kinds of moments because he's very empathetic even with the little things. lu guang is the one dealing with a lot of big picture stuff (time and death itself) but cheng xiaoshi? he just wants to set up a photography studio and maybe help a couple of people out when he can. play basketball. find a cosplayer to return her paintings. help their student council president to not get scammed.

he's just a little guy! look at him! he thrives in low stakes situations!! give him milk tea and he's happy 🤗

I think the most surprising details in this episode were:

lu guang kept a detailed notebook of the past?? damn. I feel like he spent one timeline just memorizing and noting down events, down to the last minute.

"your eyes remind me of two people I knew" holy shit. time traveler parents possibly true. what if cheng xiaoshi's parents are lost to the time stream? like, they faced the consequences lu guang said you'd face if you stayed more than 12 hours into a picture (notably though, lu guang doesn't seem? to have this issue when he dives? or I guess past 12 hours you get "stuck" in the past and aren't able to come back to your "present")

what is up with cheng xiaoshi always wanting lu guang to be his partner "for life" asdfghjkl. my guy. you're so sweet

lu guang moves into the photo studio during their university years and bridon happens right after. and he's wearing cheng xiaoshi's summer clothes...

cheng xiaoshi did not clap when he activated his powers with the bridon picture (his hands were holding the envelope and the picture). which is... weird? how did that happen? also he went there as himself which means this picture was... not taken by a photographer? because otherwise he should've possessed someone like normal

finally: lu guang didn't have a watch in the beginning. idk why I always thought he had a watch. anyway, I think we can use the placement of his watch as a signifier of which timeline we're in

no watch: original timeline. when lu guang dives back here, I guess he buys a watch afterwards

watch on the left hand: either the og timeline (after he buys a watch) or the first time he dives? the timeline with cheng xiaoshi's first death? the style of the bedroom makes me think this happened in the first time they go to bridon (which isn't necessarily the same timeline we're seeing in the donghua right now).

edit: actually, scratch that. now I think this might have been lu guang's bedroom lol. the date is 4/12 which is the day cheng xiaoshi reads the 👌 text from lu guang about playing basketball again

it's also consistent with the flashback to cheng xiaoshi's death in S2E1 — watch is on the left hand.

watch on the right hand: S2 finale dive / yingdu E1 dive. which means vein showing up in the photo studio happened sometime during our "current" timeline.

lu guang keeps his watch on his right hand during S1 and S2 as well (catguang in the chibi shorts also has a watch on his right... paw).

Been wondering how you figured out the body types for the girls, since they all feel so vastly different from each other, like how did their respective shapes help you and how you would describe their respective differences and similarities now than when you first drew them.

Oh gosh I think it just kinda happened over time I think that as time went on I found that my anchor for character design is just the way I draw things. My style is very line art based so shapes and consistency within the style became important to me don’t have a lot of bells and whistles to my designs are mostly based on shapes and color and line consistency

So these little uhh chibi(?) or closer to the og ppg style things you can see what I start to prioritize within their body shape even with my normal style it’s just a more detailed version of what I was drawing but it’s easier to see here so that’s why I’m using these as an example

(Idk if I ever mentioned or anyone noticed but I redid this so many times because I was never satisfied =_=)

Blossoms high strung so I always made her posture very very straight as we go on you can see I still liked that pose lol but the last one is more round but more cohesive because I wanted them to all be in the similar style

Now….as you can see with buttercup she looks VERY SHARP and different until the second to last i made her rounder to fit her sisters as well but she to me in the beginning was very out of place and bubbles I very recently figured out what I wanted to her to look like I like her in rounder shapes (I’m rambling at this point idk if I’m making sense anymore) but will say I’m not like particularly interested in being consistent in terms have having an specified racketballs “art style” I like to try new things and question why this is good or bad for what it looks like I’m learning a lot in that way!

Because I was thinking more about shapes I started to figure out exactly what I liked about my lines and style and I started putting that into everything but in my more uhh normal???? Art style which is closer to like anime I guess I can be even more flexible and try new things with line and body types and all that CLOTHING also plays a big factor these days all my clothes are very intentional to their body types it emphasizes their shapes and stuff

Watched Ep1 of Yingdu Arc and survived!!

Thoughts under cut because spoilers!! Duh.

ok. Uh. Where do I even start.

The basketball scene, man, that looked so good. OH that looked SO DAMN GOOD???

And then BAMM whiplash, Vein's in the fucking photo studio, throwing Cheng Xiaoshi around as if he wasn't a full grown man of 1,80m 💀 I kinda expected to see CXS die soon, but wow. That was... uff, wow, thanks for the tears I guess

I will sound terrible, but... I kinda wish that scene had been longer? Dunno, feels like we barely saw LG grieving over this.

Watch this statement come back to bite my ass, when we get the full extended scene in the last episode lol

Because I feel like it has to come back? Like. What the fuck happened? Why is Vein here? Like. HERE here, in the photo studio. Why is Xiao Li dead? And Qiao Ling??

And oh god, that whole power-transfer scene. Gave it to Lu Guang so he could save everyone (no pressure, tho). God, I'm sobbing again as I type this...

I really wonder what happened in that almost hour long time period between CXS dying and LG diving. Since LG was hurt when he got the photo, and I don't assume that Vein just... you know, LEFT, I guess there was a fight? Do you think LG went feral again? Or did Vein think he'd die from his wound(s?) and just left him to bleed out?

(Also I guess an interesting thought, that all of that doesn't matter anymore once he's diving 🤔)

I love the Chibis every now and then. And the funny faces, kinda missed that after S1. CXS and QL are such siblings, they way they ganged up on Zhou Xun... or pleaded with LG... UGH I love them. Love them so fucking much!!

CXS carrying patches with him at all times is such a cute detail, idk??

I missed that, but my gf pointed out that LG's eyes were golden at first, and when he joined CXS and QL later, with the voice over about "maybe after 12h you're stuck forever", he had his normal grey eyes. And since they zoomed in on the eye to show us that, I guess she's right that the 12h are over at that point and he's now stuck. After all, he clapped at the con and was still there.

Also, CXS was WAY too relaxed about him having powers? "Wait, so you DO have powers?? Wow." Uh, not how I would've reacted lol xD but then again, he said, he felt that he had a secret and that he "knew 2 people with eyes like yours", so... uh... what does that mean, CXS? (Except that your parents probably had powers, too)

The way LG looks at him. UGH. UUUUUGH my heart can't take it.

That scene on the couch where he hugs himself... after that soft smile. yeah, why not, break my heart again, sure sure...

LU GUANG. CANONICALLY. WEARS CHENG XIAOSHI'S CLOTHES!! The fucking cat hat wasn't a present to LG, it is CXS's!! (well, maybe he gifted it him anyway, but whatever xD he originally bought it for himself! Now I wanna draw him in that outfit lol??)

There were several moments in this that gave me Live Action feels. I don't remember all of them right now, but CXS calling LG handsome/beautiful was one of them and the "we're not even together, and she's breaking up with me?? T__T" cries come to mind. idk xD Makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

UUUUGH so yeah.

I really wonder if this is the current timeline or not. Or if we will see the deathscene one more time in the last episode?? Though "I'll use my last chance and go back to the beginning" kinda feels like that was the current one?? Or we will find out another reason why it might be the last chance...

Uh. Final thoughts?

It was A LOT less bad than I feared it was?? The blow from Cheng Xiaoshi's death scene was softened with all the cute and funny stuff later, so right now I actually regret not watching it before work lol

Animation quality was nice, but it's very obvious that the most of that episode's budget went into the first 10 minutes xD Not a complaint, just stating the obvious.

I like the new style, though I still think I slightly prefer Studio Lan's style? Can't even put into words exactly what it is.

Also I miss thick eyebrow Lu Guang =T Thankfully, at least the ending delivers on that front.

Lastly, I'm really not sure why they made this into one hour-long episode? It was pretty clearly meant to be two, with a very clear cut pretty much exactly in the middle, and two stories that are completed in themselves. I feel like that would've made more sense for the finale, when everything's going down? Idk.

(who knows, maybe we will still get that, so we get the full 8 episodes after all?)

After so much testing trails you finally got selected in jujutsu high as a 2nd year student and your happiness was over the top but the slight nervousness exhausted your body as you decided to sleep in your apartment for the last time as you'll shift to the jujutsu high tomorrow. You snuggled in the bed with your chibi plushie and dozed off.

7: 00 AM

The transport van was outside and I was counting all the boxes for the very last time now.(I counted it a hundred times before) I got a call from the jjk high to reach there till 8am. As the transport van workers set down the boxes in the van and went off, I decided to leave the apartment. I went to the landlord and greeted her for the last time and handed her the keys. It was a hard time, a really hard time to get into jujutsu high as well as do the part time to balance my financial situations but finally it'll be all good.

8 am at JJK HIGH

I entered the place as I was greeted by a man in his 40s, he looked like a teacher. "Greetings sir, I'm Y/n we talked an house ago on the call. I said in a formal way to give a responsible and reliable impression.

"Very well miss Y/n it's good to have you in here, I'm Yaga,your room is just a few corridors away". He was talking to me as his attention diverted to a tall guy with white hair wandering around with his two other... friends... maybe. He called out that guy and said "OIII BOY come here! All three of them looked straight at our direction which made me feel embarrassed idk why but as they approached us and I saw their faces, Damn that white hair is handsome.

"What is it yaga sensei? Got a new girl for us?" Gojo grinned while looking at me as I looked at him with disappointment on how he was speaking. "Hold your tongue boy, this is your Colleague her name is Y/n she will be accompanying you from now on and also take her to her new room."

I greeted all three of them as I bowed to them. "Pleasure to meet you".

The three of them introduced themselves and by their names the dark hair guy was sweet with a warm smile and the girl, her name...is shoko, both of them were sweet but that white hair guy was a weirdo grinning and all.

"Let's take you to your new room miss y/n", said gojo with a sarcastic smile on his face.

(Chimera Teto x Android Miku WIP, another one, yeah, another one lol)

I may not finish WIPs but I can definitely start new drawings!! 😂Hahahaha ! I always try to make them chibis (for simplicity) but I also want to draw details/the full body, so of course it turns into a double full-body drawing that takes forever.... This isn't even the final lineart obviously but it's almost 5 AM again and I know I'm gonna fuss with this some more, so I guess here's a WIP so I can show off what I did at least tonight xD In case I decide to do other things in the meantime...

Tell me why I literally spent like 2 hours (fr) trying to draw Miku 'cuz Miku is hard asf to draw and challenges me to draw better 😂😂😂😂 Anyway (a long-ish) explanation of stuff under the read more 'cuz I don't want to take up people's dashboards. When I finally finish this drawing or the other one, I won't have to yap as much in the post too. xD

A series of things happened today that led to me creating this drawing. (Miku's prefinal lineart is done too btw, I'm just not showing her to you 'cuz no point spoiling the whole drawing lol, plus I might make changes.)

I went to the store for a brief moment 'cuz all my pens kept running out of ink and I was annoyed I didn't have any reliable pens and I wanted a pen to write a continuation to this AU, right.

When I went to the store, there was a song playing and I thought it sounded nice, what little I heard of it before I had to return to work. So once I left the store and was able to look at my phone again, I looked up this song through the lyrics I heard and I found it. And the whole song was even better than I thought: the lyrics and music are INCREDIBLY sweet and now I really like it. xD

Besides liking it in general as a song (this genre of song), I was ALSO super into it because I thought, "This is super End of the World AU-coded (Android Miku x Chimera Teto)" and it made me so happy, excited, and giddy lol.

Like, listen to this...

"When the cloud's above your head / And the sun's not breaking through / You know I'll be there to sing this song for you. / And it goes: / La la la / la la la la la~..."

This is absolutely something the Miku in my AU would sing. This is absolutely a song she and Teto would listen to together-- like, I could draw them listening to it together and that's actually practically what my drawing is lol. I could draw an animatic or make an MV to this song about them... I could make a comic where Miku is singing this directly to Teto and persuades her to sing it with her, especially the chorus (la la la) parts. I smile because in the first fic, Miku also goes "lalala~" (idk the number of la's lol), and it's not like what she sings is this or anything, but it's a small connection that I like. xD I literally discovered this song only today but this is absolutely a song Teto would have in either one of the cassette players or in the MP3 player. This song matches them and the AU too so Miku would absolutely sing it and like it a lot too. This song made me think of my AU and I was already excited/trying to keep writing more so I could get to the good parts, so finding this song made me really excited, ok. xD

Also I'm not sure how you WOULDN'T adore Miku if she sang something like this, especially directly to Teto (her only audience).

All the sweet lines and stuff made me super soft, so I put this song on loop and literally played it for hours. The whole time I was drawing too. It's just so cute and fitting and it's what made me create art for this AU again instead of making Turing Love fanart or one of the other dozens of ideas I have and whatnot. xD

That was a lot of words to explain what prompted this drawing in the first place when it wasn't planned in the slightest, but now I'll talk more about the drawing itself.

I was inspired by all the fanart I've received so far! It'll show in the final drawing. c: But when drawing this, I was looking at Slyvasta's art since I wanted to draw Slyvasta's version of Teto too. Teto is easiest to draw imo, so we've got the scarf, horn, wings, and tail. The pupils were actually added at the very end 'cuz Slyvasta's has sharp pupils and I thought that was cool and a good idea lol: this Teto's eyes can have sharp pupils (dragon/reptile-like) while Miku's eyes are more round yet robotic.

I was thinking about the flavor of tsundere that Teto is (in my AU) and this drawing was partially inspired by me wanting to clarify stuff about that. xD I did call her "cool, gruff, indifferent, etc." which is all true and does apply, but she's still playful and can be lively, even if she's been beaten down by exhaustion and gloominess, as I've mentioned. In other words, she never was a complete downer or anything (I know I said that before), but I wanted to clarify that she's not, like, the cold type who's ONLY frowning or who's grumpy either.

If I think about it, the "trying to act cool/indifferent" thing is mostly an act I think, yeah. xD Like, of course she'll frown or have a neutral uninterested expression if she's bored or she's been through annoying experiences (like starving or encountering various issues), but she's still kicking, if that makes sense. Like, the enthusiasm and zest for life isn't exactly there, but she's doing what she can to get by. I guess she's more of the type to distract herself and focus on other stuff so she doesn't get too existential? So it's not like she isn't lowkey depressed-- she's just the type to make jokes about it. She's basically original mischievous Teto but with some baggage she's carrying.

This might seem like a weird post now based on the stuff I'm writing LOL but I really did think about it, ok. xD The way to characterize her. And she has really valid reasons to be sad and everything, but she's not as harsh and edgy as her appearance implies. That's something that I really like about her: the gap moe lol.

So what does this mean in relation to Miku? Well, Teto is a pretty normal girl who's cool and nonchalant. She's probably arrogant in a cute way too, judging from her catchphrase and how she likes acting like a know-it-all and being praised/appreciated. But basically, the tsundere mainly comes out whenever she gets embarrassed.

The Teto in my AU can smile and has a couple of times, and she's nice because she helps Miku out before she even knows Miku that well. So....

She's probably the type to send Miku soft smiles without even realizing it. Like, she relaxes a lot and is happy or something and then her expression will turn so warm or gentle, I'm pretty sure. 🥰 Her tail and body language already gives her away, so I love the idea of her expression changing into a really affectionate one before she even notices or realizes it. She realizes she's been smiling the whole time after 5 whole minutes pass or Miku points it out and then she's like, "I-I wasn't smiling or anything?! (unsure why she's immediately denying it)" lol.

Anyway, THAT'S when the tsundere comes out. She isn't tsundere towards Miku unprompted, and even though Teto doesn't know how to deal with Miku YET, that doesn't mean Teto walks on eggshells around her or is curt/cold to her. Teto acts very naturally and herself-- she only gets tsundere whenever she's NOT acting like herself, aka being really weak or soft for Miku at different moments.

Her tsundere is a weak kind of tsundere too (unlike Neru, who isn't in this AU anyway), so she'll just get embarrassed or lie or act kinda awkward or prickly to hide her embarrassment (maybe a sharp word or two, along the lines of "Shush" and "Shuddup"), but in the end, she's a very cute and kind girl. 🥰 They both are 🥰🥰🥰

It might take me one or two more iterations before I'm finally satisfied with the final lineart, but this time, I made the time lapse longer, so you'll be able to see how I struggled to draw Miku for like 2 whole hours. xD

This, too, I want to color. I actually wanted to color my first drawing first, but then I discovered the song I mentioned earlier and it made me so hyped up that I wanted to create a whole new piece about it. Along with the other two songs that I associate with this AU, I was really happy to find yet another one. This song is cute in general too, so it was immediately added to my Motivation playlist. xD

With how hard Miku is to draw and how long drawing takes in general, it makes me even more impressed with Miku artists lol. Like, Miku is so demanding but I love her so of course I'll push through until I do her justice... I'm slow because I care a lot and want to do these two right, ok... xD Lineart and the like is more in my comfort zone, but I'll definitely tackle coloring soon; tonight's session only proves that it'll take longer than I expected/5 hours lol.

I'm not only planning to create stuff for my AU only-- I want to make all kinds of Mktt stuff. But I was really inspired by other people's art and this time, I even drew with their art in mind lol.

I have no idea how long it'll take, but I'll continue to make more art! To me, it's the clearest way I show/understand my love lol. I've been inspired seeing other people's art too, so I definitely wanted to draw my own....

I've only really had like 3 usernames in all my time on the internet: the first actual username I used (that I remember using anyway) has my dead name plus a silly adjective I liked back when I was in early middle school; second properly used username I had was literally just my preferred full name that still remains on some social media I haven't used in years and then there's my beloved backpack of the evil variety that I made up over 4 years ago.

It was originally evil.in.your.backpack but then I went to change my username on my socials and that simply wouldn't fit in some sooooo I improvised, narrowed it down to BackpackEvil and ended up liking it more than the og so I just stuck it on every social I use on the same day and yippee that hasn't changed

I can only say that I didn't even have a proper reason for the evils in backpacks kind of username, I just kinda accidentally thought of it while trying to decide on a new username and it stuck

"backpack" is also what I called my sona for the past 4 years (that thing was on most of my profiles the entire 4 years until literally less than a month ago when I picked up my current one of Kaito). I actually designed backpack right before sitting down to think of a name for it (so I guess the username was kinda inspired by this sona)

The sona was always very edgy and shit so idk, the "evil" part kinda stuck. Honestly bLackpackevil also goes into the edgy ass theme so yeah, you definitely got the vibe :D

The only thing I can add I guess is that the want to include backpacks in my username kinda came from the fact that (IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY) this was around the time I first tried stitching pins for my school backpack and so my backpack looked sick as fuck because it was customized with nerdy pins from games and anime I liked and well, what can you do I am a nerd after all (some of those pins are still holding up and are on my current main bag lol)

What's funny about that tho is that I can't wear backpacks anymore :D I haven't been using backpacks for like 2 years

That's not a joke, there's some weird issue with the skin on my back and wearing messenger bag/shoulder bag style bags is basically my only choice of not giving my back any more permanent scars

I'm still so tired, jet lag is a real thing 😭

Went to japan last week, this was actually my 2nd time. The first time was when I was still in uni, about 19/20 years old? Which was a while ago 😅

If anyone is planning to go japan, do NOT go during september or the summer if you cant handle humid heat. It got as high as 36°C and it was unbearable! The sun is so hot and air was so thick 😭 Nearly died, I've never used my asthma pump so much before lol

Anyways, enough about that! I was lucky enough to visit 3 cities! Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto ✨

In Tokyo, visited the Meiji Shrine, went up Tokyo Tower, went to a jjk0 themed cafe, tbh this was kind of a let down. It was just a cafe with like the official cafe photos plastered on the walls and themed food. I was expecting it to be more like those kpop group cafes with standees and like a table of official merch to take photos with. I did buy a satoru acrylic stand and a keychain gacha. When I opened the gacha pack, it was CHIBI SATORU 😭💙💙💙💙 I was so happy! Made the whole trip worth it ✨ Also went Shibuya Crossing! Last time I went, it was already busy back then but omg, this time, its waaaaaaay more busier! Like the streets were full, there were no gaps in between people. You just had to keep moving to your destination (No wonder kenjaku chose this place 😭)

In Osaka, went Dotonbori, Denden town, and Sumiyoshi Shrine. Idk if you know about this very popular store called Don Quiote, but Bruno Mars is promoting it, and he has an ad/song that plays on tvs throughout the store. It was so random to see him but then again, he does have that Las Vegas debt to pay off 🤭🤭

Kyoto 💖 This place has my heart 🥰 Its so beautiful and relaxing. So easy to travel, everyone there is so lovely, the food is delicious, the landmarks are breath-taking. If I ever go back, I would stay there longer. I visited the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine, Tenryuuji Temple and Kiyomizu-dera - which the tokyo jujutsu tech college is (supposedly) based on!

I had such a great time! Spent so much on food and souvenirs, I am now broke, but worth it 🤣

His existence takes place in my AU Transformers Warforged [TFWF] and has a best friend named Fraightlock, now Friaghtlock isn't a Decepticon so Starscream (the Decepticon leader since Megatron is a prime now in my au) gets mad at him because he believes Fraightlock is just not "trustful" enough or could "backstab" Bullframe, but Bullframe doesn't believe it or care because they are literally the bestest of friends..

Bullframe was actually originally one of my first Transformer Decepticon ocs soo hip hip hooray for the school bus!!

Glad you like him, also oooof this is going to be kind of a long story, because he is one of THE og characters of mine, and I'm probably gonna start rambling a lot, so apologies in advance (I'm gonna like...split this into chapters or so to make it easier to follow: its hard for me to talk about Azul and NOT bring up his long history with me lolol)

1. HISTORY (BC being one of the OGS gives you a LOOONG origin)

Azul has kind of a long birth-story as said; his OG og version was a brother I made for my then-mascot character (She no longer exists at all) which is also where the name "Chester" comes from. He had no real personality given initially they were just meant to be my "mascots" I used for my icon and so.

(WARNING; old ass art ahead, I found I still have em lmao, prepare your eyes)

This was drawn like.....2014ish, so 10 years ago, the girl on the left was his sister Breezy. In the end, only Chester ended up continuing along with me overtime, while Breezy was left behind. I don't remember why, maybe I just didn't like her design anymore at the time? (gotta say looking at her now, that outfit's still kinda neat, I could give it to someone....)

Chester went on to get a redesign (and a GF by the courtesy of my friend @mad-hatter-rici, a gal called Gwen at the time) and he became a tattoo artist, a trait I later gave Jurou when I created his modern version.

IDK exactly when these were made, my laptop claims 2018 but that's not possible, given at that point I was on tumblr already, and these are all made pre-tumblr, so between 2011-2017. (Side note, I kinda like some of his old tattoos still....) His personality started to form properly here, and ironically I'd say current version kind of returned to his more relaxed/mischievous nature after being more serious and blunt for a while.

Then at some point, my friend and I decided to create a fantasy AU, where "Azul" was born properly. This was also around the time I joined this hellsite (affectionate), and he got his color-themed name/his current sibling Reuben, and more current look. His personality shifted into more serious, no-nonsense type, the kind that is powered by intensely black coffee and spite. This is also where he got the whole "Dark Mage" deal from, though it was always kind of vague what that meant? (In current version, I've tried to be more specific about what it is)

(There was another look between modern Chess and this Azul design, but I no longer have it sadly, that chibi version has that old outfit)

The left chibi look (Well its full version that I couldn't find) was the one he had for the longest time, because in-between creating it and recent times, I had my massive fandom phase, so I barely drew them at all for years. Once I started coming back to it, I gave him that right outfit, his personality also began to shift back into a more relaxed one.

Finally, we've reached his current incarnation, which still pulls some stuff from his previous look with colors and such (and keeps his BF from the previous incarnation, Diojas). I actually planned to keep his poofy hairstyle initially, but after creating that long, straight hair for disguise purposes, I realized I kinda liked it more? So I kept it instead.

2. CURRENT BLUE BOY

He is a Shadowcaster sorcerer, it is an ancient type of magic that no longer exists; the only reason he has it, is because he and his brother Reuben originate from times long past. They got thrown forward in time as tiny children due to a ritual their bio father, Amaros, performed going wrong somewhat. (Amaros became the Soul Eater Deity and is the origin of all Soul eater's powers) Shadowcaster is the most powerful type of darkness/shadow/night themed magic that has ever existed in his world.

His original name is "Azul" whereas Chester is the name his adoptive parents gave him as he couldn't remember his OG name back then. (Reuben is also a name given to him by their adoptive fam). His adoptive dad is a Chesire cat called Lionel who is a doctor/exorcist, and the adoptive mom is an opera singer songbird called Annabelle. He and Reuben also now have a baby brother called Adam, who is a Chesire like their dad. (Adam is around 17-19, I haven't decided exactly, Reuben and Azul are both mid thirties so there is a big age-gap. There's a story reason for this relating to Annabelle, but I'm trying not to ramble too much and focus on Azul alone lol)

Chester, before he started his origin discovery journey, was a medical student in university in his home world Ether, and he had a bit of a hostile, violent rivalry with Angus Belmont (another fave of mine), which was admittedly mainly caused by the toxic influence from Angus' then-friend Vincent DeVos. Later in life, during Azul's journey, he and Angus become good friends.

Azul/Chester's BF Diojas (used to be a prince in prev incarnation) is the heir of a mob family in the human world, though he is actually not their biological child, but was kidnapped from his birth parents by his adoptive dad. (His bio dad started working for them secretly as a bodyguard as he came looking for his son once he found out Dio is alive)

Diojas has connections in the human world that are useful for Azul's quest, hence he ended up working with the young reluctant mob boss, in exchange for protecting him from more mythical threats he seemed to attract strangely enough....(because his bio parents are from Azul's world and not human)

3. SOME MINOR FUN FACTS ABOUT BLUE BOY

Majority of his friends are women, this has always been a thing for some reason. In fact currently his only actual close male friend would be Angus. (Alexander is a friend too, but he also sees him as sort of an extra parental figure)

He's bisexual

He had a brief relationship with one of his close friends Iris, with both of them agreeing neither wanted that kind of relationship with the other at the time. Iris is still his closest friend, and she becomes an important support figure for Diojas as well.

His mum has a "Azul sass feather" which supposedly pops up when her oldest son is being sassy.

Azul has a familiar called Lasha, a snake demon. He is more unusual familiar as familiars normally aren't beings with human level intelligence for rather obvious reasons, and in fact Azul did not even know initially Lasha had a human form, as the snake hid it from him. (Lasha was asked to look after Azul by his biological father, when he found out he and his baby brother Reuben were alive)

Chester is a wanted criminal in his homeworld for stealing a very important and dangerous magical object, which he needed for his research. That's also why he's hiding out on Earth.

His sorcerer robes are reminescent of his bio dad's outfit, just instead of pure eye-theme, his has peacock feathers due to his adoptive mum's influence. (There are some minor details about it I still am not fully sold on, so it might change a bit later)

I think I'll leave it at that, or this'll get wayyyy too long lmao. The only character I still have in active use that is older than Azul or Diojas would probably be the aforementioned Alexander, his first incarnation was likely made all the way back to...maybe 2012? IDK for sure, but def before Breezy and Chester were a thing.

hey note!!! i loveeee alkaloid i think all of them but im a little biased towards tatsumi bc hes cute in a specific way that i like. i have him and arashi in my office rn and i love checking in w him and having his tiny little chibi say little christian things to me

i like mayoi a lot too, i think my preferences go tatsumi>mayoi>aira>hiiro but i really like them all! not just cause they’re the main focus but because of their awkward misfit vibes and the dynamics within the group :)

then i knew about a couple of the characters before starting and arashi was my fave from what i knew, so i made her my homescreen background at the beginning and i am pretty attached to her :) and then i like niki and leo! i also went very out of my way to get a himeru card because i think i’ll end up liking him a lot

im also fascinated by how much the game acknowledges stuff as weird. ill see something and itll just be a little note and im like “huh!” and then they actually talk about it and im like oh…. woah… like not just the capitalism n cults but like… airas constantly mean to hiiro and then they actually talk about it and why; stuff like that. i like how things aren’t always just a gimmick but actually get dealt with

also the production quality is insane!! EVERY SONG gets an mv…. i love it.

though tbh ive been struggling with enstars a bit lately? 1) it’s addictive, 2) i looked at the wiki and realized a lot of things i was really curious about haven’t gotten resolution yet or turn out to be really surface level (also like… niki’s a chef, his father was a chef, and he’s got a disorder that makes him constantly hungry? that’s so reductive and recursive around one trope it feels like bad writing), and 3) last night i learned hiiro and rinne were originally conceived as ainu characters which feels like… really sus with how their characters are presented? idk, it’ll depend on how removed it turns out to be, like i dont know anything abt ainu people but as long as for example the monarchy and systems they have are made up i think im chill with it but right now im like. HM. and realizing how many sus things could go over my head w lack of jpnese cultural knowledge. so ive been lowkey considering quitting the game bc it takes up too much of my time for something i dont LOVE but seeing you get hyped abt it and getting to talk about what i do like in it has made me back away from that idea a bit

Okay here it is: the last section of the art-dumping

And it is... an au!!

It's kind of a silly idea, but I call it the Strayed!AU (it's kind of just an au that spawns based on something different happening relating to 1 specific character) (...and it's a Sun and Moon Show au...)

This one follows the SAMS plot most of the way, except changing after Sun kills Bloodmoon

Instead of Sun killing Bloodmoon and that being it until Bloodmoon's revived based on only video knowledge, he actually gets brought back by KC, who (after Moon asked what happened, and if Sun was okay, after Sun said only "useless crap was destroyed", he went to go get some cleaning supplies, and KC basically begged Moon to let him take control in that moment) then found the few remaining nano-machines of Bloodmoon that had survived (only finding 5 before taking those nano-machines to try and revive him), taking them to hide from Sun, and then going to Monty while pretending to be Moon to convince Monty to let him borrow some nano-machines (being why when Lunar.. yknow'ed.. Monty didn't have nano-machines to rebuild him with, so he couldn't shape shift anymore) so that he could rebuilt & bring his son back to life

So here's how Bloodmoon looks in the au!!

(also it's called the Strayed AU cus Bloodmoon kinda acts like a strayed dog who doesn't trust people, and only trusts an occasional few, that "few" being just KC)

Here's also how KC looks!!

I haven't drawn the rest, cus I haven't had the time to, but they each would have differences from canon, and here's a few I can think of:

Lunar would still have a tail

Earth would have small cloud-like wing accessories on her back (y'know those tiny white wings with the curly spiral at the part that goes on the back? Yeah those wings, idk their exact name but they pop up if you search 'chibi wings' so they might be chibi wings)

Sun (possibly also Moon? haven't decided yet) wears overalls

Eclipse's outfit would be (kinda) more clown-like

Also, a sad fact to me: Some characters in canon don't exist in this au

So characters like Solar, Ruin (Eclipse), Ruin Monty, Jack 'O Moon (since Solar made him), and others that I cant think of rn, wouldn't exist in this au

So because of that, there would be a Ruin alternative, but currently I have no ideas for them cus like. idk. didn't feel like it yet. (basically tho the Ruin Replacement wouldnt have made Bloodmoon, they just found him away from KC and was like ''ooh perfect'' and took him to work under them secretly, and such like that.

Now, here are some details to try and describe the characters in this au:

Killcode (KC): (he/they) Kc is still quite distant from the family, but visits them more often than in canon (or at least that we saw in canon). KC spends most of his time wandering, in his RV (he does have an RV, yes), which is also his soup kitchen. He has a Soup kitchen - Food Truck - RV. KC is quite caring for Bloodmoon, and tries to care for him the best he can, while also trying to teach him to be a good person (ex. He often lets Bloodmoon go out to hunt fish - which he ends up really liking to do - and makes him fish soups with his catches. He also lets Bloodmoon help him make soup for the homeless, but only in helping cut the veggies and to bake bread to give alongside the soup, as Bloodmoon keeps trying to either tamper with the soup, or attack the customers.) KC is also quite cat-like at times, and sometimes Bloodmoon can be a bit too much for him, but he still shows his love and care. KC still does have a tinder profile, like in canon, but hasn't actually gotten with someone (successfully) yet. KillCode is omniromantic, and has a slight preference for men.

Sun: (he/him) (sometimes wants to go by she) Sun is basically quite the same, being quite anxious at times, being good at taking care of kids, and somewhat bad at dealing with adults, except he has been a bit more willing to go to therapy (he has stopped denying it, and is trying to seek out therapy). However, he still strongly dislikes Bloodmoon. Despite KC trying to help Bloodmoon be better, Sun doesn't trust him. KC and Sun have also grown a better relationship as siblings, instead of that awkward relationship they seemed to have (in my opinion). Sun also likes to knit and crochet, especially to make little sweaters for his cats. Despite popular belief, Sun is not bisexual, and is actually unlabeled.

Moon: (he/they) Moon is quite caring for his family, having also gone through the ''Got reset after separating from KC'' fate, and tries his best to be open with his family, but isn't the best. Moon still uses his technology, but doesn't let his science & tech get in the way of him & his family, so if one of them needs something, he will put them first. Moon does however sometimes have a few anger issues, and rather than discussing them to someone, he just tries to push them away and hold them back (this does not work well.) Moon is still aroace, but is specifically sex-repulsed asexual & orchidromantic (I searched up one to fit what I was going for & found orchidromantic, which is apparently someone who ''feels romantic attraction, but does not desire a romantic relationship'', yet both sources I found seemed to be slightly a bit uncertain themselves so idk)

Earth: (she/her) Earth is very sweet and caring for her older siblings, despite sometimes acting herself like the oldest sister (when she's actually the youngest). Earth tries to care a lot for others, and ends up putting a lot of peoples' issues before her own. She feels as if she has to help others, otherwise she's doing things wrongs, but helping others often stresses her out and causes burnout for her. Other than that, Earth loves things like dolls and stuffed toys, as she finds comfort in those (she's not the only one in her family who does), and often convinces her brothers to play fun games with her, like dress-up, or convinces them to watch shows & movies with her. Earth mainly acts like a younger sibling, except for when she feels like she has to help someone, then that's when she acts more serious. Earth has never really thought too much about relationship preferences, so she stays unlabeled.

Lunar: (he/they) Lunar is the middle child, who has quite the chaotic energy at times. Due to trauma, Lunar often acts younger than he actually is, and likes being treated like a child, but not being treated like a child (likes toys and such, and other things kids tend to be said to like, and likes being treated in a more calm manner, but hates when he's referred to as small, or defenseless, or someone whose too young to do anything on his own). Lunar often likes to play dolls with Earth, despite not really liking dolls, and preferring stuffed animals, like Spigot. Lunar does have a bit of star power (since he was still blown up), but has a smaller amount than in canon (since Solar said it was a rare chance for him to get powers, so he only got a very small fraction of weather powers, so he can't really hurt anyone with them, making him not that much a threat... but the astrals still aren't sure.) Lunar is quite energetic, yet still traumatized and depressed, but often tries to show himself more energetic. Sometimes he does have moments where he falls quiet due to his depression, and doesn't speak up much. Lunar is pansexual, and eventually realized themself to possibly be polyamorous when they liked the idea of being in a relationship with more than one person (idk if that is how figuring that out works honestly, I just based that discoveration off of the canon Lunar wondering if dating Gemini would be polyamorous or not, and based on my own questioning)

Bloodmoon: (they/he) Bloodmoon is somewhat like a stray dog. They don't trust too many people, but often either trusts one person (KC), or can tend to be bribed easily into following what someone wants (Ruin-replacement & Stitchwraith). Bloodmoon can be quite chaotic (more than Lunar), and tends to run around often sometimes to get out energy, aka zoomies. Bloodmoon tends to show their feelings in a way not considered ''normal'' to most, tending to growl and bark, and occasionally bite (KC's tried to get him to stop biting. It has not worked.), but also sometimes shapeshifts into shapes and bundles of who-knows-what to represent their emotions. Bloodmoon sometimes has panic attacks, especially if left around Sun for too long, which can be calmed with stuffed toys, which he either bites, or just cuddles them, as they help ground him. They hate admitting that though, as the only person Bloodmoon is comfortable being vulnerable around is one another, and occasionally KillCode. Bloodmoon also has a scar on their chest (that no matter how hard KC tried to fix it when making their body, it just wouldn't go away) in the spot where Sun blasted them, due to them trying to split last-second to avoid the blast, yet failing. Bloodmoon also has a confidence issue they don't speak about, where (as Lunar once said for himself when he could shapeshift:) they have a hard time being big. Thus, they often accidentally shapeshift themself to a smaller size, and it's nearly unnoticeable, unless they accidentally make themself near Lunar's height. Bloodmoon also discovered themselves to both be aromantic, but haven't figured out yet if there's more to their identity.

K [Ruin replacement] (I still don't have a name for them, but my mind keeps wanting to say their name starts with a K, so for now they're K): (??) K is insane. K came from an alternate universe, and decided to cause chaos once they arrived. K often likes to use others to their advantage, and is quite good with manipulation, and is quite far from a good person (whether they'd be redeemable or not, I have absolutely no idea). K found Bloodmoon when he was out fishing for KC, and took them, forcing them to work with them, under the bribe of free blood. K is an awful person, treating Bloodmoon more like a pet than another animatronic, even giving Bloodmoon a shock collar to control them better (I myself really don't like shock collars btw, I think they're messed up, so the fact that K uses one on Bloodmoon shows that they're messed up, at least in my view.) K has a plan, which is unknown, but hinted at by how they describe themself as the "puppeteer" over others.

Eclipse: (he/it) Eclipse is still struggling to be the ''big bad villain'', kind of being more of an annoyance rather than a villain. Though he can still be quite a threat. He dies nearly the same 2 ways, except the second time he was killed in a universe where Eclipse either didn't exist, or had already died (since this universe doesn't know Solar. Maybe they brought him to like, Evil Lunar's dimension and let Lunar deal with him, honestly idk they just brought him to a dimension, and guaranteed his death) At this point, Eclipse has returned on his 3rd life, with less memory of his previous actions than before (basically requiring the videos + others' reaction to him to know, plus the faint urge to be evil), and trying his best to be evil, but sometimes the others (especially Earth) can tell he's at the near edge of a mental breakdown/identity crisis. He very much doesn't want redemption, but is almost being convinced that maybe, just maybe, he could earn it? Eclipse is aroace, and is strongly repulsed by the idea of both sex or romance.

Also a short summary of character relationships:

KC <- Familial -> Bloodmoon Bloodmoon views KC as a dad, and KC views Bloodmoon as his sons. They have a sweet father-sons relationship, but it's not perfect.

Earth <- Slight trust, tension -> Bloodmoon Out of Sun, Moon, Lunar, and Earth, Bloodmoon trusts Earth the most, finding a comfort in her care. Earth, however, isn't fully trusting of Bloodmoon, due to them nearly killing her once, but she still thinks there's a good person in them somewhere.

Lunar <- Tension -> Bloodmoon They used to have a sibling-like relationship in the far past, when Lunar had first met Bloodmoon, but after Bloodmoon had tried to kill Earth that one time, and Lunar almost (accidentally, but not fully accidentally) basically electrocuted Bloodmoon, they've had a tension ever since.

Sun <- Strong distrust + tension -> Bloodmoon Sun doesn't trust Bloodmoon, slightly disappointed that KC brought them back, but somewhat understanding of KC's decision. Sun often tries to hide it, but he very very much dislikes Bloodmoon. Bloodmoon, however, is basically terrified of Sun, and will do whatever they can to avoid him.

Moon <- Neutral yet slightly negative -> Bloodmoon Moon and Bloodmoon had a more neutral relationship, since Moon does feel bad for them, and Bloodmoon hasn't really been hurt by Moon. However, they both don't fully trust one-another, due to when Bloodmoon nearly killed Earth. Moon now doesn't fully trust Bloodmoon, and keeps an eye to make sure he doesn't slip up, and Bloodmoon fears that Moon could try to kill him, like Sun did.

K <- Very negative -> Bloodmoon K uses Bloodmoon, and manipulates them, making them do anything they want the twins to do, but forbids them from telling anyone it was their idea. K was the one who actually told Bloodmoon to attack Earth, but nobody knows, as Bloodmoon is too scared to admit that. (Also K kind of takes both Ruin's role, and Rodrick's role, making Rodrick as a tool to keep an eye on Bloodmoon from distances, instead of Rodrick being a tool by the creator to use Bloodmoon)

Eclipse <- Distrust, hatred, and annoyance -> Bloodmoon Eclipse and Bloodmoon both strongly hate and distrust one another, and sees the other as an annoyance.

Oh, I also almost forgot!! When KC had to rebuild Bloodmoon, he managed to find the code in Bloodmoon that made them bloodthirsty, and managed to safely remove it, so now Bloodmoon likes to hunt for fun (and out of habit), but doesn't need to

Stream just finished so i will now give my (for the most part positive) review, despite being dumb and knowing nothing about anything. Also its 2 40 am rn so bear with me

To start, the obvious one for anyone who even popped in for a second - the scuff. Never have i watched a scuffier stream in my life lol. BUT this is nothing against the hosts, performers or platform. Vstream is still in its beta stages and from what ive seen has onky had smol streams on it so far, so its only fair that the servers were struggling massively.

It was delayed 20 minutes at the start, and when it went live there was a 10 minute count down that got reset when it reached 4 or smt. There was also lag throughout the stream.

Once again, no one is to blame for this, but im a profesional reviewerewrerr (real please trust) so i gotta reviewerere all that stuff lol.

Anyway. The music was INCREDIBLE. So much talent aaaaaaaaa. I think my fav 3 have to have been rin, bao and fuyo+yuko's duet, in no particular order. (If they WERE in a particular order, then it'd be—)(welcome to another episode of Froggo is a Dumbass™)

I also loved how many different vtubers there were performing. Normally when i watch a concert it'll be from a large agency (holosanji, vshojo) and ill know everyone performing. Ive never seen a concert where im introduced to new incredible talents on top of hearing amazing performances from the talents i DO already know.

Of course this is only from my personal experiences, but i dont see many of these collab-concert-thingies and i think the world would be a better place if we had more of em lol.

Now the main thing ofc - IDOL 3D REAL?????

The chibis were so frickin cuteeee aaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I do remember a few months ago idol teased 3d chibi models for them all, but id kinda just forgotten abt it after a while. They were SO CUTE THO especially rins model (im not biased but i may be biased).

On the topic of rin. HER DANCE. SHES JUST A LIL DUDE AND I AM HERE FOR IT. AAAAAAA TMW WHEN MY BRIAN IS WORKING IM GONNA WATCH THE VOD AND MAKE GIFS OF ALL RINS GOOFY SILLY DANCE MOVES. Im not creepy im just bad at wording things to make myself sound not creepy.

I also found it funny when pochi appeared during fuyo and yukos performance lmao. Im curious tho as to why pochi wasnt singing. Idk, i mean come to think of it i dont think ive ever heard her sing so ig it could just be that shes nit rlly a singer, but she doesnt strike me like that sorta person.

I would have a look on yt for her singing, but despite it being less work than writing this, my small tired brain is insistent that its more.

Also, and ik this doesnt have much to do with the concert itself, but the chat was so lovely for the most part (there were one or two less good moments but thats always gonna be the case bcuz ✨️society✨️ and shit).

I didnt get to interract with the chat bcuz of accounts n stuff, and i prob wouldnt have anyway bcuz my internet decided to die on me AS THE SCUFF WAS HAPPENING so i was kinda scared to do too much at once, but from what i saw everyone seemed like a lovely person.

What if Giann was like really good at music? Maybe at playing an instrument (like the guitar, which Marius couldn’t bring himself to play because it reminded him of his mom) or singing or both idk.

Mama Von Hagen was very talented in both music and arts (this is canon), so what if each son took something from her??? Besides from Giann being (also canonly) more similar in personality to Ms Von Hagen while Marius is (in Austin’s words) “colder(!)” just as him

that aside tho, YESSSS, GIANN GOOD AT MUSIC. that is hugebrained idea, esp since canon doesnt really give us anything more on his character aside from "really great CEO during his term" and "marius loves him to BITS" and "protective shithead, i am always thinking about that flashback scene in SSR Will Of The Trees". so this hc adds nice flavor to the free real estate that is giann von hagen

i now like to think that giann deffo took up guitar. not as a “serious” venture but he just picked it up in his teens and got pretty good at it casually. and while hes no concert level vocalist, he sounds really great whenever he and marius went for a dumb karaoke hangout whereas marius just misses EVERY BEAT, GOES OFF EVERY KEY, it’s a genuinely fun time for both of em since karaoke isnt about sounding good, more just yelling into a microphone for the Vibes Of It All

another reason why i love this is cuz marius is shit at anything musical, canonically. twice now in current global cards (SR Overture, little scene in SSR In The Darkness) and here and there in official art (that one beach chibi? marius playing the guitar and the notes are viSIBLY SHAKY LMAOOOOOO), this dude cannot do anything musical

but he keeps trying anyway.

at first, i chalked it up to marius' tendency to dive headfirst into anything, even stuff he isnt good at, because effort and intention matters!! which i still think is true but i got another layer added when i remembered SR Twilight Beauty. theres this bit in there where marius is trying to understand his mom's musical compositions, trying to Truly Grasp how it felt like creating that music in the moment, trying to see how or what she was thinking when she had created her music

phrased a different way: marius does not understand music, but he tries to in order to understand someone who is no longer here

mama von hagen passed away shortly after marius’ birth, but i figure austin had told marius a bunch about her. her personality, what she loved to do, and maybe a hummed lullaby she’d always hum to put marius to sleep. marius cant remember melody of that lullaby coming from his mother herself, he was too young. so he just hums it himself based on how his dad told him it sounded like, going through the tune over and over again as a way to connect with someone he never got to truly meet. 

art is a lot about communication, and marius, of all people, would know that. i feel like trying to understand a person’s art to understand the person themselves is an avenue he’d gravitate to. he didnt get to meet his mother, but he can try to connect with her through what she left behind.

but shes not the only one whos gone now too

so marius often has a bunch of songs stuck in his head, and theyre not songs hes personally into. theyre giann’s go-to songs back in their dumb karaoke hangouts. marius will idly find himself humming them while working or painting and he doesnt let himself forget these tunes or the melody of the lullaby from his mom. because even if he hums off tune and cant manage to do anything musical one bit, music is a language his mom and giann used. 

for his mom, keeping her music in his mind is a calming way to stay connected to her even if he never got to meet her. 

for giann, memories of his singing is something that grounds marius in reality so that he doesnt ever give up on finding giann and bringing him back.

Fave Sprites in each AA Game: AAI1

(Spoilers for Ace Attorney Investigations 1)

So, this game confuses me. On the one hand, I really enjoy the new gameplay format and third-person movement. It also has some of my favorite character designs. But on the other hand, this is the ugliest Ace Attorney game in the whole series. It's also the weakest in terms of actual plot and cases. And I want you all to know that I have never disliked playing an Ace Attorney case (I enjoy 2-3, 4-3, 6-4, etc) but this is the only Ace Attorney game I would consider bad. First of all, I hate the art style they went for. It's a sort of anime-y style that works well for some characters, but then you have Ernest Amano and Zinc Le Blanc. Well, whatever, we're not here to talk about the negatives (I'll leave that for another time) so let's get into the animations I do enjoy.

Animation 1:

Kay Faraday. Mhmmm.

As a new character, I kind of don't love her inclusion (I personally think that having Ema be the main assistant would have made much more sense and added a better character dynamic).

But design-wise? She rocks. I love her scarf, and her hair, and her bag, etc. I also really appreciate the new "tiny" sprites that showcase larger actions with the whole character's design being shown. They're cute and chibi and great.

This animation in particular is very punchy (pun intended), and it creates a nice loop. I like how she bounces from side to side before stopping to punch with some nice smears on her jabs.

Final verdict: Kay's writing may not be my cup of tea, but I love how energetic and fun her animations are.

Animation 2:

Another "tiny" sprite and another animation that utilizes smear to showcase a fast action. I think that the reason why smears are so common in this game is because they make the whole animation much easier to read on such a small screen and sprite.

Well, the reason why I chose this animation isn't really thanks to the animation quality, but more so just how fucking cool it is. It's just cool to see Lang calmly catch Franziska's whip seconds before it hits him.

As much as I love Franziska, sometimes it's great to see someone stand up to her while she's acting like a spoiled child.

Animation 3:

We have arrived at my favourite character in AAI; Callisto Yew. She's so great. I love her fairly simplistic design, her carefree attitude towards Edgeworth's dramatic personality, etc. Her laughs are always animated wonderfully. Actually let's move on to the next animation and I'll discuss her a bit more there.

Animation 4:

So, animations 3 and 4 are fairly similar from a conceptual level; it is just Callisto laughing. But they're so amazing because you can almost feel and hear her laughter. In the first one she's cackling loudly and trying to stop herself. In the second animation she's completely out of breath and still letting out a few laughs. Overall her animations are sincere and really charming.

Idk if she's an assassin super spy or whatnot. If she kills me don't blame her: she caught ME slipping.

Animation 5:

I'm SORRY. I'm WEAK and I couldn't HELP IT. I had to put Ema on here and how could I NOT choose the iconic DS sprite (I mean, that's definitely a Nintendo DS, right?). This sprite has a special spot in my heart because my childhood DS, that i still use, is the exact same shade of pink <3

Also I love the small detail of the DS screen being reflected on her glasses, causing that to be one of the few animated things in the whole sprite (the other being her arms and fingers).

Honestly, as much as I dislike most of AAI's art design, the highs are VERY high, and I love Callisto and Ema.

Anyways, next time I'll do AAI2, which I really love a LOT. It's gonna be harder to find animations online, because the website I use only has sprite sheets. If you guys know a good website with a lot of AAI2's animations I'd really appreciate it if you'd let me know.
