In the blink of an eye, the guy is lying in a heap on the floor. Samuel looks at him in disgust, fiddling with the brass knuckle now adorning his hand.

The disgust melts away immediately to concern once he sees the distress on your face.

You turn to grin at Samuel. His face wears his usual nonchalance, but you notice how his eyes have widened slightly in shock.

He leans in close. To the cameras it looks like a kiss on the cheek, and the crowd swoons accordingly, instead he murmurs, "Boyfriend, huh?"

"I know you're sweet on me. Don't lie, Sammy," you whisper back.

"Hmph," is all the response you get.

But you notice the hint of a smile as he threads his fingers through yours.

I was the anon that had said that interviewer was an aggrogant bellend (😆)

I just wanted to quickly follow up with the difference between when Trevor and Buzz were chatting and cracking jokes vs when that interviewer crossed boundaires and asked a very inappropriate and personal question (I've included screenshots, and Buzz looks so uncomfortable 😥). I've seen some comments on YouTube and in some of the other anons saying that they think T&B were shading Mike and being weird. I can only comment on my own observation, but I thought they were happy to talk about Mike in context of their musical output, such as touring with Bungle and Fantômas.

The interviewer tried to sneak in a question about Mike's sobriety - and that's none of anyone's business. He said something like "oh well he claims he's sober" - which is throwing speculation on whether Mike is, and that's completely disrespectful. My impression of Trevor and Buzz response to this wasn't in the words they actually said, but trying to deflect and change topics, and basically say without saying "we're not comfortable talking about someone else's personal life or speaking on their behalf" and I think they handled it quite well. They could have gotten confrontational but they tried to steer the conversation away from that (also I loved Buzz's story about how he gave up coffee but his wife said it didn't change anything, bless him)

A few other things that annoyed me about that interviewer was how he had a great opportunity with T&B and blew it. I think they were really humble and I loved how Trevor talked about why he likes Britney Spears - I think these are rare moments of letting their guard down and the interviewer blew it by talking about himself (he said something like "oh yeah my band covered Britney Spears", I guess he was trying to connect with Trevor or impress him rather than trying to get more of an insight into what music he enjoys) Another weird little thing the interviewer did was call Trevor's meditation "hippy bullshit" - I thought that was disrespectful. I honestly would have loved to know more about that side of Trevor, another missed opportunity. We all know Bungle have done extreme stuff, I'm more interested in the things that inspire the musicians.

I completely agree with your point about how the interviewer inappropriately talked about his drug use - It seems like men feel intimated and so they feel the need to prove they're tough or impress the band - it was cringe.

B&T are doing a grueling 70 tour day with 1 day off every 4 days, which doesn't leave them much down time. I'm sad for them that the little bit of free time they had was wasted on this interview. I do love that Trevor kept checking his phone 😅😅😅

So I've noticed with kpop that most of them just go with whatever the hype or narrative fed to them is. This includes the fans or even the groups themselves.

No matter how annoying ARMYs are, I actually feel they do this slightly less than the core kpop stans because so many armys start off as locals but still within the BTS nexus also we have so many dumb narratives that just get baked into the fandom. VMin being soulmates, Jungkook being the golden maknae, Bighit being 'different' from other KPop labels, Jimin being the king of fanservice, Namjoon and Yoongi being the best at rap (so presumably over Hobi) - all this is just bs with little basis in reality. Within kpop, things are even worse imo - literally sometimes it feels like they don't listen to songs, they just decide whether things are good based on concepts or vibes or some superficial crap like that.

Anyway, so the Jungkook is the golden maknae thing, the one who will breakout narrative has been pushed for ages. The reality is that the entire maknae line is somewhat recognised among the GP and pretty popular overall. If Like Crazy had the same push as Seven, it would have done the same or better. But for better or worse, JK is the chosen one. And the reason JK acts so bratty is because he knows this too. At his core I don't think JK is a bad guy but being positioned as "the one" for years and then being actively told so by 🛴 and Bang PD now has just fueled his negative traits. The latent bratty and cocky vibes just went up exponentially during the seven promo.

I also think JK got the gist of what fans were saying about his interviews and BB Hot #1 acceptance from last week and perhaps about the preferential treatment because this week he's been doing a lot of damage control. Oh I'm so surprised I won Mnet, omg you guys I /never/ expected to win Inkigayo. He acted so weird for BB #1 but suddenly he's back to good ol' humble Jungkook. Suddenly Jimin's commenting on his lives. Tae's coming to visit him at the music show. Look how happy the members are for his success everyone. Meanwhile JK does multiple lives almost everyday this week. Seems like he's going overdrive cleaning up all the missteps from last week.

Jimin is starting to piss me tf off as well. Who keeps laughing while they are getting whipped and humiliated? A fool. He wasn't always like this but I think Bighit's harsh contract and the other members gaslighting him with fake concern and love have trapped Jimin into this zombie puppet state. I just wish he leaves Bighit. They don't care about him. They care about their chosen golden maknae and he knows it but he stays there like a fool. The mistreatment has been going on for a long time so he could have left years ago before Bighit became this powerful Hybe but he chose to spend his time drinking and being unmotivated. Although I also think its the company's fault for not motivating him. Maybe he has PTSD that Hybe is using to manipulate his behavior, in addition to his harsh contract, and that's why he played along with JK on lives to do fanservice.

I was talking to @elizzie19 about this the other day, and was thinking that it does annoy me that Feyre was absent in hofas if Rhys were there in his capacity of High Lord, but that's actually not the primary reason his involvement was necessary.

I was looking at a post I wrote almost two years ago (cry, it took so long omg) about which characters might be involved in hofas, and I didn't list Feyre. It didn't really occur to me that she would be involved because she didn't have a direct connection to anything happening in CC. In the acosf feysand bonus chapter, Rhys is concerned about having seen Aelin and he knows that it's possible for other people/creatures to come through their world, but he doesn't tell Feyre. The chapter is giving us Feyre's thoughts, but not Rhys's. The reason we know what he is thinking is because of an interview sjm gave (I think the one with Katherine Webber). But anyway, my point is that we already knew that Rhys had insight into what might happen and was working on the issue, and Feyre didn't know and wasn't.

Does that bring up a whole other can of worms? Yes, yes it does. But it's consistent with him keeping her pregnancy danger from her in the same book *insert piplup w/ gun emoji*

It's all just kinda.... what?? And while I think it totally makes sense for Feyre not to have been super involved given which acotar characters knew what prior to the end of hosab, it also feeds into the fact that Rhys hid the wing thing from Feyre. And the implication that Feyre has been sidelined because she's a mom doesn't help, though I couldn't say if sjm is doing that intentionally - I'd say no, but she probably thinks the pregnancy plot was just fine, too.

I'd much rather see Feyre ripping into Rhys for how he treated Nesta, and maybe if acotar5 is structured the way I think it could be, we will get to see that. idk. I'm not holding my breath.

it has been pointed out that the feysand bonus occurred before Aelin showed up, it doesn't need to be repeated! The fact still remains that sjm told us that Rhys knew about the possibility of someone else showing up, and that still proves my point that his involvement comes from his knowledge, not necessarily his political status.

They would spread false information about me and Chris' relationship. Even though me and him are just best friends. I would join him at his interviews because of his anxiety and mostly for moral support and people kept reading it wrong and thinking we were together because of how much time we would spend time together.

"Chris.. You know you didn't have too right" I kinda feel bad because he had to go through all that pain just to get me this role.

"I know, but I just wanted to give you an opportunity. And you can spend more time with me" He says as he wiggles his eyebrows while getting closer to me and pushing me softly with his shoulder

another tough question! I'm going back and forth on this. mtkachuk definitely became less appealing to me after reading the millionth fic where he's crying and traumatized from his abusive dad and abusive teammates and needs to be rescued by Leon. I was on board with that ship back in the early days but Not Like That, you know? So I guess I'm giving the same answer to both questions, but I don't actually hate mtkachuk, just the way fandom acts about him.

Also, similar to my previous post in this series, I simply cannot stand NP, but it's not like fandom made me hate him, I just didn't like him starting from the first interview I saw and fandom didn't help. So idk if that counts as "canon" because it's not like I disliked him based on an actual hockey game, I just disliked him based on vibes 🤷‍♀️

I've literally only watched the movie

Ok idrk where to start with the show but I'll just info dump and rant about bits because omg there's so much 😭

FIRST of all, I'd love to give an award to the person that gave jhonen Vasquez, the author of "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac" a chance to create a nickelodeon show haha I find it absolutely AWESOME.

I'd also like to say that I'm actually a big fan of the new designs in ETF, it gave dib a lot more expression and added a lot more freedom to animate him in different angles! You can find the IZ pilot on YouTube, the difference between that and the original series design is astounding! Bro looks like a skinwalker in the pilot 😭

Also I really really REALLY hate ZADR so like sorry not sorry 💀 ZADF is the way to go with pairing (dude zim is about biologically 16-25 or smth dib is 12... Bro 😭) irkens age about 10 times slower than humans, every 10 human years is about 1 irken year in aging, however it's been shown that irkens have one extreme weakness: pH weakness.

As we can see in a couple episodes, zim is extremely sensitive to the rain and is shown to burn! It's not because of the water though, it's because of the high pollution in it! Remember IZ is set in a dystopian earth.... To be honest not too far away from ours 😅

Tbh they're not that strong anyway, many irkens don't live that long even though they can live for AGESSSS, due to their brittle bones, but eh at least they're really smart.... As a species.... Looking at you purple.... Lol. Actually red was a lot smarter in the series, but ig in the movie zim drove him to insanity so much so he's just as much of a man child than purple lollll but I love them both xx

All irkens are specifically created artificially, their genes are modified to suit what they're going to do in life (pilot, invader, ect.) This means that zim was genetically created to be an invader but once they found out he was annoying as shit they just whooshed him off to earth PFFT

That's enough infodumping on the irken biology, I swear if I'm wrong on any of this I'll cry (jk I won't but yeah haha)

Finally finished this!! If u ever see any interviews of jhonen being "rude" to his fans, dw it's just sort of a persona, he's a very sarcastic and straight forward person and he loves his fans :] it would be a dream if I could meet him someday!!

Now about the hermanos' childhood, I must say you've really done some magic with your words because for the past 2 years, I have clung stubbornly to my half brothers headcanon. I cannot emphasize enough how much I never vibed with the full brothers scenario. BUT. After reading your thoughts, something in me slowly softened to the idea (which I repeat I thought was impossible) and then I was reading this novel at the same time, with 2 brothers in it, and one of them is more "evil" than the other, meaner, likes to play tricks and the other is more good and kind and idealistic. Anyway, there was this one passage in the book where the mean brother lies down in his bed at night praying, begging God to "don't let me be mean" and wanting to be nicer and loved by his brother. and my brain replaced that with the hermanos growing up, and my heart squeezed in my chest and thats the moment I finally converted to the full brothers headcanon. Thank you for opening my eyes to the possibilities. Of course, the half brothers headcanon will always be first and special to me, but OMG the FEELS with the hermanos growing up together as little kids!!! I'm just taking their backstory as Shrodinger's Headcanons, since Pina clearly isn't interested in giving us anwers lmao. After this tangent, let me reply to your actual thoughts asdfjsk

Ah, I can see why s3 gave you that impression. Maybe I watched that interview before s3 becz my mind was always clear that they shared a father, so Andrés mentioning him makes sense but he also always had this kind of distance/coldness when talking abt him, even saying "He was *your father*" to Sergio in s2 by the fireplace (which makes sense if the said father abandoned him), while Sergio was the one who always sounded more fond and grieving. And when he mentioned "Mama's illness" I thought it's only Andrés' mother cause neither of them ever seemed very concerned that Sergio could have inherited the illness too? But it's interesting how preconceived notions affect the way we interpret a scene, you and me both had such different conclusions LOL. I understand, it was just the opposite direction for me, I didn't want to 'embrace' the full brothers headcanon 😅

(pt3) Yeah they even never clarified what he was sick with for HALF HIS CHILDHOOD/YOUTH!, let alone how he got better. But I'm so with you, the idea of Andrés taking Sergio to Russia and saving his life has my whole heart. Yes, you can work in the Andrés raising Sergio bit, especially because i think with their father dying and their mother's illness, they were probably orphaned at a young age either way and obviously the responsibility for Sergio would've fallen to Andrés very young, and like you mentioned even when their mom was alive he still might've been expected to look after his hermanito while they were busy trying to manage expenses. Oh, idk if you've heard of another hermanos headcanon that was popular at the time, basically that Andrés started stealing/got into a life of crime to pay Sergio's medical bills, but again, I love the idea that he used every means- legal or not to save Sergio. (Andrés' past intrigues me very much, I wish the spinoff had actually given us some answers 🥲)

OH, I loved your analysis of both scenarios and Andrés' reasons to resent their mom/Sergio. It makes all the sense, and it's heartbreaking. I also agree that it's very interesting he doesn't resent or bear any grudge against Sergio, when he easily could have. Once again, the fact that despite his unforgiving harsh personality in general, Sergio is the exception and he can see that Sergio really was just a helpless child and doesn't hold anything against him, melts my heart. AND YASSS, that's exactly one of the reasons I love the half bro hc so much. It's a Choice, and what a selfless one. Raising the son of the father(or mother) who abandoned you. I don't think many ppl would or could do that. And the fact Sergio was a sickly child too, but Andrés still took him in and didn't treat him like a burden but a beloved brother <3 I also just fell in love with the idea that Sergio thinks he's all alone in the world and then Andrés appears on the scene. Learning to trust each other. Andrés also thinking no one could love him (abandonment issues) and then he's suddenly the parental figure for a kiddo who looks to him and depends on him and loves him unconditionally, the way a child does.

(pt4) YEP, regardless of scenarios I also love the idea that it was Andrés who saved Sergio's life (and ofc, Sergio would think he can do anything. don't get me started on how Sergio would've felt when Andrés told him of the myopathy. Definitely some of his denial comes from the fact he thinks Andrés can defeat the illness, no matter if there's a cure or not) Gosh yes, Andrés would've been so proud and extra protective, we see that in the Bella ciao scene. I really think he didn't mind if he died as long as Sergio got away and gets to live a long and happy life ;___;

I would never stop screaming either if we got a new hermanos scene!!! Keep the hope alive 🤞 Hehe, I'm glad you appreciated the #hermanos angst! Oh that's great!!! I'm happy you loved my thoughts about Andrés and the reasons he'd have to resent Sergio, it's something I love to chew on! And YEAH EXACTLY, I mean, especially considering Andrés' whole character, 'selfless' is not exactly the first word that comes to mind to describe him, so thinking of him deciding to take care of this sick child he didn't even know, son of the parent who abandoned him, when Andrés himself was probably still pretty young... ahhhh! And little Sergio thinking he doesn't matter to anyone anymore, he's nothing but a burden now, but then Andrés appears and takes him in... I'm melting. And now you're making me crazy with the thought of Andrés, whose experience in terms of relationships is really not great, who considers himself really hard to love, getting this kid who loves him unconditionally and trusts him and looks up to him... woah. He was probably flabbergasted. "what's this??? UNCONDITIONAL LOVE??"

The idea of Andrés saving Sergio's life also ties nicely with Sergio's reaction when he learned about Andrés' illness, he was there like "let's forget about the robbery and let's go abroad in search of a cure" he wanted to do exactly what his brother had done for him!! And yeah, I think even after Andrés crushed that idea a part of him never stopped holding a bit of hope! As for Andrés, he would absolutely consider "I die but Sergio lives happily" a great scenario and I want to scream!

I'll keep hoping for new hermanos scenes 🤞 Thank you! That gifset is still a work in progress, I got a bit stumped because the scenes I picked are all so dark and my attempts to colour them have been pretty disastrous lmao but I'll try again! Also just so you know, I keep thinking about "you wouldn't be there to catch me" in relation to the hermanos' relationship and I CRY. (Thanks about the fic!)

yayyyy new setting!!!! I love when shows set in warm places go to cold places. weirdly specific but when max and anne and jack black sails went to philadelphia I was clapping and cheering away. I love to see snow

I miss bailey bass but delainey hayles was really well cast. obviously she resembles bass closely, but she's also captured her character very well too. it ALSO helps that claudia and louis underwent a huge fracturing of their relationship at the end of s1 so of course things between them will be different. as of the time of this writing, she hasn't even looked at him. I imagine it's easier when they don't have to recreate the exact dynamic with a new person, but can build something new after a huge rift

speaking of, louis's recollection of claudia and his discussion of her losing faith in him and viewing him as someone she can no longer connect with is just devastating. my god

armand is REALLY annoying to me��just so smug…and apparently he and daniel were a thing in the books which is really odd to think about at this stage but sure.

Okay, I finally managed (when I am too tired, LOL) to watch the first few minutes of this video (a Beatles interview in 1966) and omg I want to analyze their body language so bad.

And here (while I am far too tired) I will attempt to briefly. Thank you for nobody asking me to do this. That'd be weird if they had. Instead, I've done this of my own incredibly strange volition Good for me.

It's easiest to see when they're all standing in front of the table (for like two minutes I think) so hat's what I focused on the most, even though I could analyze their movements when they were sitting at/behind the table (before the interview officially started, I assume - I don't know if this video is shared chronologically?), as well, but anyway...Paul is DISTINCTLY uncomfortable and annoyed over the whole situation (see the micro-expression of rubbing the side of his face with his middle finger, which he did in A WHOLE LOT of videotaped interviews, btw). John is easily the most comfortable white man there, LMAO, and certainly the most comfortable of The Beatles, but I wonder if that's only because he's so blind that he literally cannot see any real reason to be uncomfortable or annoyed (in addition, given his poor vision, he's probably most comfortable because of what/who he can most easily see: his bandmates). Ringo seems interested in the audience (what an extraverted sweetheart), but he's still uncomfortable (folding his hands over each other in front of himself - Paul and George also do that during pretty much the entire time they're standing there in front of the table, and even when Paul is drumming his thighs or standing with his arms folded in front of his chest he is STILL uncomfortable and deeply annoyed), but he's much less uncomfortable compared to Paul and George. George is ALSO DISTINCTLY uncomfortable, but it's interesting (and endearing, imo) how he comforts himself with his purposeful proximity to Ringo - literally the camera shows their outer feet pressed right up next to each other. From what I can tell, George is also trying, however, to feign comfort by sitting on/leaning heaviest against the table; even John, who is practically the picture of comfort (and is also pretty much sitting on the edge of the table), looks more ready and willing to get up and move quickly if needed than George who is, for lack of a better term, anchoring himself to the table (and Ringo, LOL - but there is a moment when John moves closer to Ringo, too, and George follows suit and moves closer to Ringo even though he was already very close to Ringo...Ringo is the anchor of The Beatles at this point, LOL. And perhaps one day I will argue for how he always fucking was, in general, anyway!!!).

Don't worry - I do not plan to make this a series or anything weird like that. Although if you are curious, you may ask, if there are other Beatles interviews you see and are wondering about this sort of thing. THEre is anotHEr bAnd who i will not name but who i could also veRy, very easily do a body language analysis in/from inTerviews for. i think y'all know what Band i'm talking about. paRticularly bEcAuse i am not naming them. iyKyk. And no, sorry, pEaRl jam iS not one of them. although maybe, idk. don't tempt me? 😅 and/but i will say for anyone: it's hard to judge someone's emotions with 100% accuracy when they're high. for, you know, obvious reasons, i guess. lol
