Mhh his dad was a star player (dont ask me abt that pleaseee i just googled american football and the nfl acronym came up and i went yes that idk anything about it😭) but by the time Elias is born he's already been retired for a few years, so definitely famous with the older generations but not so much w younger fans. Elias's mom is similar in a way where she was a famous model around the time he was born but not so much once he's grown. He got popular online by making dumbass videos on vine when he was 12/13 and being hot when he got older. If you mean popular in a social sense then that's not really why I feel like most of his peers would have had a very vague idea of who his dad was🤔 but he def got preferential treatment from his coaches because of it.
